Worst example of no customer service I have ever been involved with. A once good company has descended in the abyss. I have tried for over 3 months to actually "SPEAK" with a customer service representative to explain the issue and have it resolved. All I get are automated text messages emanating from phone numbers outside of my area, which get ignored as spam. Next, I get uncoordinated service appointments at time when I am not available with no way to communicate that issue. Then I get a "Sorry we missed you" door hanger with an 800 number to start the unattentive process all over.

When the system works, it’s great. The time you have to wait for a service call is ridiculous. My dog has been trained for Invisible Fence for the last 3 years. I’ve had to call when my neighbor's tree fell and broke my line…over a month wait. He is 4 and the system stopped working. The call center is great at helping identify anything you can fix yourself, but God forbid you need a service call. Every time I have needed to call “we are experiencing longer than anticipated wait times”. The soonest I could get a technician to come was 6 weeks later. I’m on a wait list, but I am guessing everyone is. I have never had someone come to help me sooner than a month out. I’m to the point that I would never recommend Invisible Fence. I would buy a system you can manage yourself!

We tried installing solar electric or 'hot wire' in the areas where our livestock guardian dogs were digging under and out of our 3 acre pasture. That worked until they found new areas to dig and escape. They would be gone for hours and I was always very worried that they would get hit by a car or shot by a rancher. Invisible Fence surrounds our entire pasture and now our dogs turn away from the barrier, several feet from the fenceline. They can concentrate on their job - protecting our Angora goats, and we can relax knowing that they are all safe and contained. We do take off their special collars at night when they come into the smaller corral, which is controlled by solar hot wire.

This is a good solution for us as it is an easily maintained area and gives the dogs a rest period. Randall, David and Daniel from Invisible Fence were great with our dogs and worked well with the two of us 'seniors' also. They explained everything and also demonstrated training methods that were very useful. We feel blessed and can rest assured that our dogs are safe and secure, finally.

I was promised when I originally purchased the fence that we would get free training sessions and if it did not work we had one year to get our money back a full refund. Well I have an extremely stubborn dog and even after training sessions, and turning the collar up to the maximum setting my dog is still getting out of the fence. I have called requesting an appointment ASAP as my dog keeps getting out and running off and I cannot keep him chained either. And I have gotten the runaround saying that a manager would call me. Nobody has called me. I received a text message wanting to schedule 2 weeks out so two more weeks of dealing with my dog escaping. As they do not want to just give me a refund even though it is not working for my dog.

I got the invisible fence installed on March 6th. By March 26th I was calling customer service for a technician to come out. From the start, one of my Australian Shepherds has been contained; she sees the flags at the boundaries and stays inside. The other would test the boundaries and found a spot where the fence crosses the joint of the driveway that was weaker. He would bolt out of the fence (only in that spot).

The customer service person said it was "probably a training issue and that I would be charge if that were the case." The technician said that he would test the fence and increase the collar. Within minutes of the technician leaving, the same dog ran out of the same spot on the driveway. I sent him a text and he replied "he just needs to be trained more". I responded that he has been trained that the fence is broken on that spot of the driveway. It was suggest by the Invisible Fence company that maybe I should tether them in the backyard. So, now I am exploring the cost of building a fence since this product has failed and I'll continue getting charge for service calls; meanwhile my dogs will not be safely contained in the yard.

I purchased the GPS system from Invisible Fence Brand following an in-depth phone consultation with a sales consultant. We discussed my property, which she accessed online, and reviewed the layout of my land, totaling just over one and a half acres. We also discussed the position of my house and my concerns regarding my dog and the neighboring property. The consultant assured me that this system would be an excellent choice. Although the collar arrived with instructions that had to be downloaded online, as no printed manual was provided, setting up the first collar was relatively straightforward. However, it did not function as intended, and adjusting the fences proved to be impossible. I contacted customer support multiple times, seeking assistance. Subsequently, I attempted to set up the second collar, which also failed to work.

Despite my efforts to resolve the subscription crossover issue, I received conflicting advice from the support team, resulting in multiple subscriptions and continued system malfunctions. Ultimately, I was informed that an engineer would contact me, but this never occurred, and no on-site support was available. I am extremely disappointed in the company's customer service, lack of concern, and inadequate communication. Ultimately, I was informed that this system will not work for my property and just to return the GPS system. There was very little care that I had spent three days of my life trying to work on this and that it was a waste of my time and effort. Terrible customer service. Very disappointing and on top of that now I am being charged a $35 restocking fee for both collars! Never recommend!

Super shady business practices. I had a one time service call for a cut line a year ago and they auto renewed me $309 for an annual service plan this year. Not a single email in last 12 months it was coming. Obviously, I'll dispute but I would never work with a company that has this as common practice.

I first used Invisible Fence about twenty years ago. I had big hunting dogs at the time and had full success with the product. Fast forward twenty years: Their customer service, products, training and support have improved. I didn’t think that was possible, but here we are. I have two Miniature Schnauzers and wondered what type of approach would/could be taken with smaller pets. The regular sturdy fence we built was not the solution. So, I called Invisible Fence and made the appointment for the install after speaking with the representative. Five star service from beginning to present. And when the owners follow instructions between trainings, you will have success. I did follow instructions and continue to do so. That is key to the best outcome. It was less expensive than the traditional fencing!

I purchase a system in 2019 for $2400. In 2022 I purchased 2 more collar receivers for new dogs for $1000 more. The “ Lifetime warranty” was stressed and is underlined on my receipt. Now I called because the plastic parts started breaking and not only is it a $185 fee for a technician to come to my home instead of just shipping new units, but I’m told they will probably not be in warranty because “those parts don’t just break”… $3500 is way too much for such poor customer service!!

The underground system is overpriced and outdated. I just paid almost $500 for a service call and a new collar (because both collars suddenly died simultaneously). The woman at the office seemed annoyed that I came in (I had not been home when the service call happened so I stopped by the office on my way home from work to clarify that the technician told my son that the collars were both bad).

The technician (owner?) actually came in while I was there, and upon seeing how upset I was about the cost, told the woman to give me a 20% discount (bringing my bill to just under $500. I wish I'd waited, because for this price, I could have purchased a Halo system that does not require an underground wire, has GPS monitoring, and is something that can be moved and adjusted as desired. The Invisible Fence is outdated and really expensive for what you get.

Purchased the system in 2021 and this used to be a legitimate company. Unfortunately, the company has since changed their business model and basically told the established customers to go to Hell. They closed all the store fronts which used to make them readily available to either purchase the (very expensive) batteries or to just stop in for any small equipment adjustments. Instead now they offer you a service call of $189.00 for any adjustments on the pet’s collar which basically take 3 minutes to do. Very sorry I spent the money on this system and would not recommend it to anyone based on their policy changes and lack of customer service all in the name of making a buck. There are much better options out there at this day and age.

At first, we were happy with our service (installed spring 2023) but our youngest keeps breaking through (we have three and the youngest is a cattle dog). So we called today to have them come and turn up the strength. They sent someone out to help and right as he was leaving, he told us we owed $185 for the visit. We told him the office didn’t say anything about a charge for the service and that we were under the impression we had lifetime warranty. Well he insisted he needed to charge us and we said we didn’t approve the charge.

Right after he left, our credit card was charged $185 plus tax. We called the office and said we didn’t approve this charge, but they refused to refund the money. What a scam! We pulled up our documents pertaining to the original purchase and there is nothing in there about a service fee. We didn’t even sign a contract! All we did was pay the deposit and finance the remaining…then we were given a receipt with “small print” that doesn’t disclose any potential service charges. This document also doesn’t explain what the lifetime warranty does and does not cover. We’re so disappointed at this point. Wish we had just paid extra money and gotten a regular fence. The BBB should investigate this company for misleading and fraudulent business practices.

Me and my wife have had the invisible fence for over 10 years. When we bought the fence they seemed concerned for our dogs safety. The collar and adjustments were free for life. And the visits were free for them. We even purchased a second one for another dog we got a couple years ago. We spent a lot of money on their products. Now my older dog is going through the fence and almost got run over. When we called they told us new ownership and they no longer cover the 180.00 visit charge. What a joke. They set it low and you pay 180.00 dollars to adjust if your dog doesn't get killed first. They advised on low setting due to the fact they can turn it up for free. They are liars and money hungry company. I paid much more money for this fence because of guarantees. Do not trust this company. Look at other reviews. Hopefully this review will save you money and headaches and possibly your dog's life

We now have a new puppy and there is NO WAY to get the collar adjusted without paying $185 for someone to come to our house for a service call. When you call their 1-800 number, the CSAs don't know what they are talking about and are not equipped to help. Very disappointed and would never recommend this fence system to others. They will NOT stay in business unless they reopen their offices. Terrible business decision.

They try to make you feel comfortable in your investment by stating that there is a "one year performance money back guarantee". However, after training our dog and doing the homework, they have still gone past the fence boundary dozens of times and we have nearly lost our beloved dog on several occasions. Long story short, it has been quite a horrible process to try to use their money back guarantee and return the thing for a refund.

After a week of phone calls and emails, I finally got a call from one of the Wisconsin managers, Dennis, who told me they won't give us a refund until maybe after they have an advanced trainer from their company come out 3-4 times to work with our dog, which could take several more months. This is truly a disappointment as we feel we have wasted thousands of dollars and likely won't get a refund. Don't include a performance money back guarantee with your product if you will not honor it. As consumers we demand for companies to uphold their promises and ethical values.

I could not be happier than I am with my Invisible Fence. We moved to Dunnellon after living in the jungle of Costa Rica and my two Standard poodles were used to free range with no restrictions and when we found the home of our dreams it had everything we had hoped for in a home except a fence, The area we live in is on a golf course so they did not allow any type of fence, So after seeing one of their trucks in the neighborhood I called them and Donnie came out to look at our situation and he assured me he could install a system to contain our dogs.

My biggest concern was that on one side of our house was a very busy street and our dogs had never been close to a roadway so we were worried they would wonder out in the street and not know the dangers, So anyway I purchased their system and Coron, nice young man, came out and installed the system in a matter of three or four hours and went over the basics and then made an appointment for the dog trainer to come and train our dogs and also instructed me as to how to continue the training.

Sean was very good and definitely knew dogs, He was able to get them trained in about three visits, They now come and go out the house and are very happy and play in the yard. When I called about a minor issue Jess the rep on the phone was very pleasant and also very familiar with the system, I give these guys and girl 5 stars but if a higher rating was available I'd sure give it them So whoever is reading this and you are contemplating an Invisible Fence and feel reluctant/ Just read the reviews on this, In fact I'll even allow them to give my number and I will tell you over the phone, I am an actual Invisible fence customer here in Dunnellon, rainbow springs.

We had someone come out to set the level of the collar for our dog and we were told that if the level was not satisfactory, we could go the local office on a Tuesday or Thursday to adjust the level without charge. After we paid them and determined that the collar was not set at the correct level, we were told that all of the local offices were closed and that we would have to pay an additional $185 for the adjustment. This is a violation of our agreement and what we were told. They refuse to send someone out without charge and there is no local office for us to go to. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.

I am extremely disappointed with the poor (nearly nonexistent) customer service offered by Invisible Fence. After a long wait to speak with a representative by phone, I was told they are "very busy" and the 1st available day for a service call ($183) is 31 days from today. When asked how they could help with an urgent situation (e.g. a broken fence), I was told "we recommend keeping the dog leashed until the next available appointment". And yet, a sales "consult" was available within 24 hours (of course!) When I asked if we could bring our defective equipment to a local office for assistance, I was told "all our offices are now shut down". Too bad we previously allowed a representative (in a local office) to sell us $500 of defective equipment.

We paid around $1500 to have it installed and the first time they encountered it, they stepped back for a moment or two, then bolted right through it. The installer thought it was set wrong, and came back to turn up the juice. He watched both of our cats go through it and seemed mystified that it didn't work on them. He told us he'd had success with Rottweilers and other big dogs...well- Maine Coons ain't dogs. When a cat wants to go, he's gonna go, even if it hurts. You need a physical barrier, not a trick.
