I purchased a sample bag of Dr. Marty's freeze dried dog food for my dog. My dog came down with a very severe case of diarrhea and required staying at our Vet's hospital on IVs & doing X-rays for 24 hours! Costing us over $1300.00 dollars!

Wish I read reviews before I ordered from them on line. Worst customer service ever. I have 2 Chihuahua mixes and have tried almost every food on the market. One of my dogs has allergies that really affect his quality of life, skin itching, licking and hives. Would do anything for my dogs and when he responded positively to Dr. Marty's, that was all I was gonna buy. Went to the website. Started a subscription to be sent to monthly, I couldn't have been happier. But then for the next 9 months, EVERY MONTH, there was an issue. They would send me an email that there was a problem with my payment, I would call and they would have me give them another form of payment. There would be something wrong with that payment the very next day.

Every shipment went to wrong address. Fortunately, there is photo evidence from their delivery service to prove my claim -- 3x in a row my shipment has ended up at a different address. For the amount of money this food costs, this is completely unacceptable. They just keep reshipping the order and it never gets here. Offering a reshipment is pointless if you can't guarantee it's going to get here. A refund is obvious but the company should be doing better, especially for the high cost of the food and the reputation of Dr. Marty himself.

I have two large dogs. 65 and 75 pounds. To replace 1/4 cup for each the cost was over $60 a month. We tried to sustain this cost but can't do it. I tried to see if we could lower the costs, customer service said we had the best price, really tried to do the 'right' thing by our dogs. Such a shame.

My dogs absolutely love this food.. but the customer service is awful. They constantly deliver to the wrong address and then weeks go by before they respond to any inquiries on your delivery. You have to chase them for service. It’s unfortunate but it’s that bad so beware not to order online from their site.

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Marty dog food, I have a 16 year old mini schnauzer & we were having issues with him before he was not himself & I knew it was because of the food we were feeding him. I tried Farmer dogs. He didn't even like that but Dr Marty he absolutely LOVESSSS surprisingly & he has SO MUCH ENERGY NOW he's like a pup all over again, sooo much more energy. No more tummy problems. Dr. marty has improved my senior baby sooo much. I cannot thank this brand enough for literally saving my dog's life.... I recommend to absolutely everyone and anyone!!!! Give it a try!!! I highly doubt you'll regret it!!!!

I just today 12/06/2024 watched the Video regarding his pet food products for cats. I just read that he is deceased. How can these videos legally be advertised. Is it now his family's business? His video I think should be updated.

The food is amazing, but I can’t recommend their service. Customer service has very little they can do if there’s a delivery problem, and will not contact the carrier to resolve it. My dog is now suffering from having to change her diet again. 14 days ago I placed an order, it’s still not here, tracking says allow 48 hours to process, for over a week after the original misdelivery on the 15th of this month, my dog is 15 years old and after improving dramatically from this diet, she is now rapidly going downhill. It’s over $50 a bag total cost at the local stores, one bag lasts 4-6 days. I’m in disbelief that nobody at Dr Marty will help me resolve this issue. I have two miracle stories, one a cat, and my dog. Both are in going in the wrong direction now, I had to take my dog to the vet as a result of suddenly having to change her diet, to a much less quality food.

A year ago, I started my dog on Dr. Marty dog food. The ad said that it would help with the itchiness and his coat. However, this is not true. When I called the company, they said that I should put them on one of their supplements. The dog food is $100 a month. The supplement is another $42 a month. They do have some guarantees, but I’m not willing to sell out more money to find this out. There’s so many really good dog foods out there. I think I’ll try another brand.

I was loving Dr. Marty's freeze dried food for dogs and cats! My 2 dogs and 1 cat were loving it too. I was continuously buying this for over a year and it was costing us $88.70 for 3 bags and now it would be costing us 170.63 for 3 bags! That is ridiculous! I will not spend that much for 3 16 Oz bags. I am bummed about this and I really hope this price to go down.

The food wasn’t bad. After a few days my dogs refused to eat it. It stunk. It was horrible, but we did try the probiotic powder as well. I gave my daughter the leftover food for her dogs. Our issues. The powder it didn’t do anything. Almost $100 and now to send it back we have to pay to do that and that’s not right. If it’s 90 days moneyback guaranteed you should own up to it and you should pay the shipping. Customers shouldn’t have to pay to ship back your product that don’t work that you guarantee.

My dog loves it and she is a picky eater now because I want her to live a very long time and research proves the lifespan of our dog has declined by at least 30% since the introduction of processed dog food..

I have 6 bags of the Cod Crispies that I want to EXCHANGE for the Tilly Treats. My dog has been getting sick on them. They don't expire until next April! I'm 2 weeks past the 90 days and their excuse is they don't have a button for that option. I do the subscription and spend over $200 every 5/6 weeks. You'd think with my order and I'm sure hundreds of others they could add a button! I don't want a refund!

I love my dog. I heard about Dr. Marty's dog food. I listened to what he had to say and I ordered some. I canceled my order as soon as I found out $29 for one bag of dog food would feed my dog for 3 days. I'm on disability and I am 67 years old on social security. I can't afford to buy me food much less pay several hundred dollars a month to supply my dog with dog food. It might be what I really need for my dog in his health but if you can't afford it you can't afford it it's way too expensive. It's outrageous. Then the lady that I was talking to said, "Well I can put a small layer on top of his other dog food," but I'm pretty sure that in his explanation it said giving that other dog food was like a death sentence so how is spreading some good stuff on the deaths and it's going to be good for my dog.

The cat food I purchased went over big time with my 2 indoor cats for 2 months, then with the 3rd shipment, they vomited every time I fed it to them. This happened repeatedly, whether I used it alone or as a topper. The company sent a RA right away, tho I had no way to print it. Also, YOU pay to ship it back.

My dogs went nuts as soon as they smelled the first "test" run when I opened the bag! I couldn't move for all 4 of them sitting at my feet and behind me. Mind you, I don't have a dog under 85lbs! Unfortunately, the 10 bags ran out and I have to say, my "kids" are visibly disappointed. That being said, I'm coming back for more!!! Jasper, the Giant Schnauzer, Loki, the Bluetick, Lottie Louise, the Treeing Walker Coonhound, and Willow, the stray that found us, thank you from the bottom of their big ol' hearts!!!!

Me and Gracie are very pleased with these treats. She is a puppy and they are great for training. She gets very excited every time I go to get one. It is really helping me to train her, she is only 3 months old. Thanks, Dr Marty.

Cairo, our 6 year old Malinois Shepherd mix has had and itching problem since we got him at 6 months. Nothing would correct it. We tried several vets to no avail, until we tried Dr Marty's Pro power Plus! Within 4 days his itching has completely stopped. He's losing less fur and is so much happier and relaxed. We even had him on ** which was the only thing that semi worked but now he no longer takes it at all. I highly recommend the Pro power Plus for your dogs. We have had a fantastic experience also with Dr. Marty's Dental sticks also, and we only give him one every other day.

LUCY is a seven year old Irish Golden Doodle. I began feeding her your food first, and then I added the probiotic. In the last month her energy has increased substantially and her itchy skin is no longer bothering her. Great progress with your products.

Rocky my long hair chihuahua just had his 15th BDay yesterday and I think he's a little senile. Sometimes he eats and other times he looks and walks away. However he does like your food more than the others he's tried.

My groomer recommended your dog food. My shih tzu is a very picky eater - she loves this food. I started topping your food over the top of her previous food - she picks off all of Dr Marty's food and leaves the rest!

My Buddy loves everything we get here!! I would love some coupons for treats and food. This is the only thing he eats now. I showed it to his vet and now she uses your products. She was excited about the all natural food as Buddy.

Our 3 cats love the new cat food! We keep a bowl of it dry for them to munch on through the day. We were using a different, but highly-rated dry food, but have noticed many fewer episodes of vomiting up hairballs after switching to your brand. They also get 1/3 of a can of wet food twice daily. I am considering reconstituting your freeze-dried pellets and seeing how they like that instead of the canned food they now get.

My pug puppy loves, loves this food! She does happy circles while I'm preparing her bowl. She can hardly wait until the 3 minutes are up to get to eating this food. I was unaware at first that there is a puppy version of the food and had ordered the adult one (not clear in the advertisement). Made the switch now.

My dog loves the Cod crisps. I also got the 4 in 1 dental care but those give him loose stools. Not sure if I need to give him regularly to get used to but I felt daily was too much. Overall I am happy with the products as he likes them all.

Annie likes Cod Crispies just fine but haven't given her much lately since we are going heavy on Tillies Treats which she is absolutely hooked on. Still have part of a bag of the cod so will shift gears for a little bit for the time being to give her some variety. But she wolfs the cods right down as with everything else we get from you.

I always like to give my dogs fish of some kind when I can. Dr Marty's cod crispies are a perfect way to get me dogs some great nutrients and they love the taste. They love to hear the crunch when they are chewing them, and they enjoy every one I give them.

My dogs are finicky! I cook meat for them and add rice. Dr. Marty is so much healthier for them and they love it! I tried the treats and they love them too! I’m excited to be off duty in the dog food prep area! Glad my friend recommended it!

My dogs go nuts for the taste and especially the crunch! They can smell those treats a mile away when I get them out. They can be broken into smaller pieces if needed as well. I highly recommend Dr. Marty dog treats. They are all natural and sooo good for your dog.

Surprisingly, my dogs love love love these! I have 2 full size Doodles and they go for these as if it was filet mignon. There is no filler but pure crispy cod! The nutritional value is so much higher than other dog treats. Who would have thought cod and dogs?

My title goes with the song "Who Let the Dogs Out". I started singing it after my babies devoured their first bag of Dr. Marty's dog food. I tried one and immediately had to order another bag, then I subscribed. My girl is so finicky that I can't get her to eat EVEN roast beef most of the time. My boy just lost his eye and was very lethargic and sad. I didn't even think they would look at it but, I just put it down like I would a treat and didn't say anything, when I looked back it was ALL gone. I'm so grateful for your help because I was at my wits' end trying to get her to eat. I was so afraid they wouldn't get the vitamins required for them. I just wish you would make a bigger bag that's in between the size. I could afford it. My dogs are now in your capable hands, thank you so so much, and thank you for making it affordable. I have peace of mind now.

Brady took to the new dog food with gusto. He loves it, especially when I put some warm water on it to soften it up a little. He follows me into the kitchen to make sure I put the food in the dish and then follows me to put it down for him.

My dog loves this food! It really smells good compared to the other foods that we have had her on. She hasn't been on it long enough to see if it improves her energy level (our number one concern). Very satisfied so far!

Our 8 1/2 fully grown 2-year-old poodle enjoys eating the Nature's Blend biologically balanced nutrition dog food for small breeds. This is a new food for our dog so we introduced it slowly over a three-week period so her stomach and digestive system would have the chance to properly get used (adjusted) to it. This particular food can be given and prepared in three different ways, so it gives the dog some variety (wet or dry). It can be used as a starter as well. My wife and I are very glad that we went ahead and made our original purchase of 3 bags of the Nature's Blend for small breeds.

My dog loves them, as a soon as we have returned home from our second walk, she stands near the area where Tilly’s treasures are, and patiently waits for me to go thru the steps preparing the pieces in a little healthy water, she keeps staring at me, when it’s ready for her to enjoy, she gulps them in 2 seconds, then turns around looking at me while licking her lips, then I give her a dental care stick which she also enjoys fully, I love watching her being so satisfied and happy, thank you so much Dr. Marty for creating such delicious treats for our dear dogs

My dogs LOVE these! My only suggestion would be to cut the in half so they are smaller and more appropriately sized for training treats. I usually cut them myself which is easy but a step I wish I didn’t need to take.

My 2 dogs enjoy Tilly's Treasures. They don't like to eat their regular kibble. I'm trying freeze dried foods, sprinkled on top of their kibble. Then put small sprinkle of Tilly's on top of that. Yum!

My rescue dog is extremely picky & literally will not eat dry dog food, but he will eat the whole bowl of cat food in a second. He will only eat if I have Dr. Marty's food. Unfortunately, I can not afford to only feed him Dr. Marty's only so He gets half of Dr. Marty's & half of a high-quality dry food with freeze-dried salmon pieces in it & of course grain-free... Before Dr. Marty's food, I was feeding him raw food, but he changes his mind too often about what he will eat & what he won't eat. I do still have to cook up a piece of Cod or shrimp, scallops or something like that in order for him to eat his food. But he will only eat the seafood I cooked for him if I run out of Dr. Marty's food. I love this food.

Dr Marty's dog food is amazing. My finicky pooch gobbles it up. She's older now and had lost interest in eating until we tried Dr Marty's. She loves it and is now back to eating again. The ingredients are healthy and natural, and she's already getting her energy back, and becoming a lot more active. I have totally taken her off her old dog food and now she is only eating Dr Marty's

I have very finicky kitties. I ordered all three flavors of food and treats. They love them all! My fat kitty is satisfied and has lost weight! I hear kitty's will eat more if they aren't getting the proper nutrients. Both kitties are happier and not always bugging me for more food or treats! My female has lost over a pound She was so fat she would fall over backwards with hind legs in the air.. She was a big fluff ball She was sooo cute but I worried all the time because I knew she was too fat and it was going to kill her!

I let my dog try a friend’s dog food from your company. She would not even try it. I would even give it another try, however the price is outrageous high. You talk about how you care about animals, etc. what about the class of pet owners who would love it but cannot afford it. Pets live for years eating grocery bought dog food. Why can’t you make it affordable to everyone?? Mamie

I started with Nature's Blend as a topper to my dog's regular food... In part to see how she'd like it, and in part because it is quite costly. She had been experiencing some allergic type behaviors, which seem to have calmed down quite a bit since I've been increasing the quantity of Nature's Blend. I now give her 1 cup of Nature's Blend with 2 cups of her regular food, and she is enjoying her meal time. One thing I have noticed as an aside, is that she does seem to poop on more of our walks than before starting with Nature's Blend. Not a problem, just an observation. I do recommend Nature's Blend, but for financial reasons alone, I will continue to combine it with her other natural food.

Getting these treats are one of the highlights in my cat’s day. They are very appreciative for the good quality food and treats. Their fur texture has softened and is silky and shiny. So thankful there’s a good quality product being made.

My pup has suffered with paw licking and hair loss and developing sores on his paws since before he was 2 years old. At first it seemed seasonal. As each year has passed the problem was becoming constant. He is now 6+ years old. We started cooking his food at home using human foods when he was around 3 years old. Attempting to stay away from commercial dog food because of all the horrible and unknown things in it and hoping to eliminate the cause. We cooked ground turkey added fruit, veggies and fruits. Yet the problem continued. Monthly vet visits, steroid shots and oral steroid pills, creams, shampoos...you name it, we have tried it! It has been Very expensive monthly, and terribly hard to watch our fur baby suffer.

My grand-cat is in Malaysia and yes, I bring Nature’s Feast (all 3 flavors) all the way from the US whenever I return to Malaysia. My Sushi loves his new food addition so, so much that I enjoy every moment of feeding him all the time. Although Nature’s Feast is not replacing his main meal, but it definitely adds significant taste and beneficial nutrition in every meal. The way I serve it, I crumble the pellets (the amount based on the recommended serving), and top it up with his wet food before mixing them together. He always licks his bowl and spoon clean! He loves his gourmet meals so much, he can’t stick to his 3 main meals a day; because he always asks for more! I believe in Dr Marty’s formula, thus, I have no hesitation to feed Sushi more than I used to. Thanks, Dr Marty!

Eddie before taking the chews had heavy plaque built up on his teeth and his breath was foul. Eddie has been having a daily dental chew for the past month and his teeth are much whiter and his breath has improved.

Buster goes crazy when we start preparing his meals these days. We tell him 3 minutes and he tries to be calm, but as soon as the timer goes off, the barking and circles start until he gets his bowl. He loves this food and is really excited for meal time.

I was looking for a good cat food to give to my kitties as they were not thriving on what I was feeding them then I found Dr Marty kitty food. Give it a try and they love it. They're looking healthier and have a lot more energy.

The Bichons and the Kuvasz gobbled this food down with gusto! With three dogs eating, they went through the bag in a week and a half. At this rate, I cannot afford to feed them this excellent quality food. I tried a substitute seen online. They won't touch it! Scratching my head, what to do about this.

Our dogs love the Nature’s Blend food, we have noticed their digestion has improved tremendously and our German Shepherd had skin cysts that are shrinking in size. I have made two purchases so far each having a quantity of 3 bags of Nature’s Blend. I highly recommend to try this food. We are very happy with the product.

I feed the Sheepadoodle with freeze dried plus Nature's Blend toppers. He LOVES it very much.. When I make food and adding the Nature's Blend, he cannot wait for me to feed him. I have to train him to stay and sit till I put the bowl in bowl stand. He runs to bowl and eat it.

Even though we kept cutting back on food in an effort to help my Rottweiler lose weight, she kept gaining. The vet was about to start testing her thyroid and possibly put her on meds. The weight also was hard on her joints and she wore out quickly at the park. Most people thought she was much older than she is. But after trying this food, she has more energy and is finally losing weight. She gets all excited for her dinner now like I am giving her treats instead. I am excited to see visible weight loss and she is much happier too.

My two dogs love them. They can’t wait until I give them their treats. They want them more than their own food. Don’t know if I’m supposed to give it to my cat but she got ahold of some so she now sits and waits for a taste. They love them.

My Ben E Bear loves chewing and he loves his treats, and I Love the fact that these Dental Care Chews are good for his teeth, so this is a win-win-win!! After his evening meal, he sits by the pantry door and has a whole conversation with us, until we give him his chewy treat! Every time we go to the vet, they look at his teeth and gums, and say, he should have a dental cleaning soon, but everything looks good for now. WIN -WIN -WIN!

Cookie is an 18 lb Boston Terrier I rescued three years ago. I changed her food to Dr. Marty as soon as she came home. But recently I noticed that her fur was not as shiny and seemed very dry. She always wanted her back scratched and the dander that produced was awful. So, I tried Shine and Luster as a last resort before taking her to the vet. In a week, I noticed a considerable difference. The dander seemed to be disappearing! And now, several weeks later, it is all but gone and her black coat is shiny, sleek, and soft! It’s hard to believe the difference. I am so pleased because I know she is much more comfortable!

My dog loves it! I feel good knowing he’s getting the best food possible. I’m getting small bites next time though because my dog is small. I recommend. My dog is 17, 14 lbs. I give him half cup two times a day and healthy snack at night. :)

My dogs are eating this food, they are very picky eaters, so that is good. I don’t notice anything different in their appearance or how they act. I also was hoping they would eat the supplement From Dr Marty since they are his food. Guess what, they won’t take it.

Dogs seem to love these and teeth seem cleaner. My Minpin Jimmy loves these. Takes his time eating. He takes it where his cousin Waffles my son's dog can't get it. Waffles a beagle. Eats hers very fast and asks for another before Jimmy has his half gone.

Cod Crispers/Cracklers are loved by my dog Parker! He runs (at full speed) to his bowl to grab a few then runs (again at full speed) into the den and chomps them down. He then stares at the empty bowl with that look on his face "more please" and I say "you can't have them all at once" whereby he lowers his head then looks up seeming to say "what else you got" so out comes the dental chews! "Fantastic food" says Parker.

My dogs love this food so much that we use it for training. We're a multi dog family with different sized dogs. For our smaller dogs, I felt it was important that their training treats also created a balanced diet. When they only weigh 14lbs the treats consumed in one training class can quickly replace a meal and using something I know is healthy and balanced makes me feel better. The fact that they love this stuff is an even bigger bonus!

My 6 year old Yorkie loves this food! She has more energy. And less fussiness over meal time. When she sees the bag she goes nuts! I highly recommend this food and will be making another purchase! Thank you Dr. Marty!

Glad this brand exists. We’ve had a string of experience with rescue cats and with the health effects that come from them having missed vaccinations and poor living conditions can play out for a lifetime. I try to help them build up reserves of good health to avoid the “typical” problems we’ve experienced with these cats as they get older: kidney issues, dental problems, and sadly lymphoma and other cancers. Some were exposed to diseases that caused dental problems early on and other digestive problems from illness caused by Giardia and the like. Feeding a higher quality food is a way to invest in their bodies' natural ability to heal itself. So I look at the expense of a better food as a kind of up front insurance policy.

Skip love this dog food dry and wet. He eats the entire bowl so I have to be careful measuring it correctly or he would be one fat little guy. I also use it as a topper sprinkling it into his kibble and he eats the entire bowl with the kibble. Every evening he runs to the kitchen giving me that sad look, where is my Dr. Marty's. I think you created a monster. He is energetic, his coat is Shiny and bright and he get lots of compliments. Thank you. My little guy is so happy.

I have 4 Australian shepherds, Harlee (8), Watson (7), Biscuit (2) and Jax (2). Since I got Biscuit and Jax at 9 weeks old their poops were always ploppy. I tried adding granual types of supplements that said it would help their gut which would also change the consistency of their poops. Everything I tried never made a difference. I changed can food and kibble too with either no change or making things worse. I was constantly looking on the internet at options when I came across Dr. Marty's Natures Blend Essentials.

Dr. Marty's Nature Blend ingredient list is impressive but their customer service is awful! I received an email from newsletter@drmartypets.com. It was an offer to "unlock up to 55% off your dog’s supply of Nature’s Blend". When I clicked on the link provided in the email the % off was so minimal!!! Dr. Marty's offer was actual:

They liked Cod Crispies, me not so much. In fact I gave them all to the local shelter. Now, Cod CRACKLERS are a different story. We ALL like them. The names are too close together. I ordered one thinking I was getting what I had and they were different.

My dog loves this food. I use it as a topper because I have a large breed dog and can't afford to use it as her primary food. Using it as a topper will still provide some additional nutrients that she wouldn't get from her regular food. Sometimes she'll pick out the food and eat them first before eating her kibble.

Purchased a bag of dog food 8 days ago on line. They advertise shipment in 24 hrs and delivery 2-7 days. They are also to notify when shipped via email. I've received NOTHING. Contacted them thru chat to cancel order and was told my order was not in a "closed" status so they could not cancel or refund my money. They offered a lousy 30% refund instead. One CS rep said they had no product in their warehouse due to high demand. Chat session rep said it's always in stock and will ship soon. Obviously these people are trained to lie to customers. Here we are 8 days after they took my money ($38 for smallest bag for a one time purchase) and it's still not shipped!

My cat has eaten a variety of cat foods over the years from the cheapest discount store brands, to the expensive Vet recommended brand. I received Dr. Marty's cat food yesterday. I prepared a little and offered it to him, but he didn't even get near the bowl. Sort of sniffed and walked away. I decided it might be better to give him a nice fresh bowl for breakfast, first thing this morning, since he's always hungry at breakfast.

My cat refused to eat this food and I tried to return it. The return did not include return shipping, Return shipping was very expensive and they refused to send a shipping label. Then they offered me a 30% discount for something my cat wouldn't eat. I consider this a rip off and I would have never ordered it had I known. Buyer beware!

Horrible company. Almost impossible to get on phone. Ships multiple orders not asked for or subscribed to. Customer service is horrible. On phone with recording for over an hour. Still just recording. Buyer beware!
