I ordered shoes from Zappos.com that were shipped same day. I received the UPS tracking number. The shipment was due on Tuesday, November 27th - never showed. The tracking information said it was on the truck out for delivery. Never made it. Next day I call with Zappos. Called again the evening when I got home from work. I was assured it would be there by midnight - this morning... no package. I called Zappos and asked for the items to be returned.
UPS said it was "the holiday season" and shipments are delayed. I told them it was their job to ANTICIPATE shipments during the holiday season... not my job to have patience or Zappos to lose sales because of their incompetence. Imagine NOT taking responsibility for your failure. Yesterday, I received a UPS shipment from Amazon... so what happened to Zappos? Fail on all counts.
Since it is difficult to get the correct size online I returned some boots to Zappos. Also I returned worn boots that they sent me. I bought a Timberland boots from them a little less than a year. My ankle started to pain so the foot doctor told me to return the boots to Zappos and get a different pair. I called up Zappos and the rep contacted the help desk. She told me to return the boots and they would send me another pair. The boots they sent me was all used and disfigured. I called them up and they told me to return it and they would send another pair. The rep processed the order yesterday. I was supposed to get it on Monday.
Today I received an email stating that Zappos do not want to do business with me. I spoke to a manager and told her the first rep who told me to return the boots that I had for almost a year should have told me that. I said to her to send me back the first boot that I returned to them. She said that she could not do that since my boot was somewhere in the warehouse. Now I am 70 years old and I am on social security - can barely make ends meet. I live in Maine with a lot of snow. I cannot afford to buy other boots. Because of this blood sucking Zappos I am now without boots.
I ordered sandals from Zappos.com. I received the wrong sandals so I returned them - that part was easy. A few months later I realized I hadn't yet gotten a refund so I contacted them via email. I received a prompt response BUT I was told that because I sent back an item that wasn't in the original order I wouldn't receive a refund. The only way I would get a refund was to send back the correct item.
Now I can't remember if I mentioned I had received the wrong item when I requested to return the sandals but apparently Zappos was just going to keep the sandals I returned, not refund the price of those (which were $10 cheaper than the ones I ordered) and not bother to contact me to straighten the issue out! I had to follow up with them about the status of my refund. When I mentioned I had received the wrong item so could not ship back anything else, I was assured I would be getting a credit for the original price. I will be checking my credit card to be sure it comes! But I will certainly not order from Zappos again.
I'd purchased many pairs of Hush Puppies in stores and thought I'd save time by ordering a pair from Zappos. I wear size 8. When I received the shoes, size 8 was on the box but not inside or outside either shoe and the shoes were about 2 sizes too small! I called Zappos and was told I couldn't have a refund but could request a replacement. It was clear the Rep didn't believe I'd received a pair of shoes without the size anywhere on the shoes. I realize now the shoes I received were likely fakes. I've not ordered from this company since.
I received a package for someone who does not live at my address. I contacted Zappos thinking they could look up the person and give them a call without needing to give me any information about the account. Apparently, without verifying her specific information, they cannot find her. I don't believe that with the information I have (her name, shipping address, tracking number, etc.) that they cannot find her. However, apparently they will not go above and beyond to assist her without her calling them herself. I don't believe for a second that they cannot look up the information and find a contact number.
The gal I talked to at Zappos was very nice and very clear. I'm sure she was doing what she was trained to do. However, I think it's unfortunate that when someone (an outsider) is trying to make an effort to help, there is no way for the company to take the extra step to reach out to their customer. Not to mention that she told me I could go ahead and keep the package or donate it because they would simply consider it a lost package. That surprised me. When I asked if I could just return it to USPS, she said if I didn't want to deal with it, then I could definitely do that. I was surprised and a little disappointed that they seem so apathetic. This must happen often.
Zappos is the best online store. They make every effort to please the customer. I had an exchange and customer service made it so easy.
I just had THE BEST customer service experience. I can’t for the life of me remember his name, but his opening line was “how may I help you on this fabulous day?” And I knew it’d be wonderful from there. He was quick and to the point with helping me out while also being friendly and all around just awesome. He didn’t even need to do anything, yet he decided to go above and beyond for me. Killing it!

It's always a bit "iffy" to buy shoes online from any vendor, especially if you don't know the brand well. They may fit, or, they may not? But, Zappos makes returns easy and breezy. They are known for their good customer service. This makes me willing to take a chance, and buy a pair of shoes or boots online without having first tried them on. I know I can send them right back and get a refund quickly and without any hassle.

Zappos is a great site. Quick and free delivery and easy and free returns with return label. New styles are generally available in most sizes but they generally don’t stock narrow sizes.
Zappos is one of the best online stores to shop. You know if there is any problem that you are guaranteed they will make it right. Their customer service is untouchable. They offer free shipping and if you’re not happy with your purchase you can return that for free too. Their prices may be a little high but in my opinion it is worth it. They have a very large number of items to choose from and it is all quality goods. When I am looking for something special Zappos is always my first stop.
I really like shopping at Zappos! Of course for the shoes but I also think they have a great variety of clothing for women and I especially like their skirts section! I like the ease of ordering and how simple it is to send items back that don’t fit or really aren’t flattering. They have developed a wonderful system for returns. I also think the customer service experience is always stellar. Anytime I speak to an agent on the phone they are funny pleasant and always helpful! Love it!
I LOVE ZAPPOS! They are professional, nice, respectful, knowledgeable, courteous and polite and they all speak English! If they don't have an item they will search and help you find who does. It is a pleasure dealing with them. I always ask if their boss gives them nice pills every time they come to work!
First, I love the free shipping and returns! That alone makes me a Zappos shopper for life! Also, order always comes the very next day, no matter what time I place the order. Let's not forget, great prices! They even have videos describing the shoe and a model walks in them. Zappos is awesome!

I have been a customer of Zappos for many years. Without fail, their customer service is stellar. It's the best! The shipping is super fast as well. The downside are the prices... they are not always comparable with other retailers. But I understand that the "free" shipping really isn't free either.
I shop online for two main reasons, convenience and price. Zappos has a large selection of shoes, but fit may not be right for the shoe you ordered. It also has no free returns.
This is a company other companies not just shoe sellers might very well emulate. Don't think their customer service, return policy can be beaten by pretty much anyone - a perfect embodiment of ethical business practices. Only small downside is that shoes may be pricey (but quality good).
I love that Zappos (now owned by Amazon.com) makes online shoe shopping painless--there is no charge for shipping your shoe choice to you and if you are not happy with your selection, sending them back is also free.
6PM sent me damaged Guess shoes. The women's flat ballet shoes have a rhinestone bow on the top of each shoe. One shoe sent to me was missing TWO stones. I can't believe the person packaging this order did not notice this damage. I am greatly disappointed to have to return these shoes. Come on 6PM! Let's do a better job!
I was introduced to Zappos about 4 yrs ago. Never once did I think to shop online for Athletic Shoes, boots, dress shoes or summer shoes. They have my size. I love bright colors. They definitely made it super easy to shop around and buy what you want. If you need assistance you can call them & they'll walk you through the process. The best part about Zappos, it's next day delivery.
This is a great company. I've been ordering from them for years. They're the only place I can consistently find shoes that are 4e wide. Easy to order, easy to return. Any problems I've had with products are quickly resolved in my favor. Feel safe ordering from this site. Exactly as advertised.
Zappos offers such a huge selection that it's easy to get lost on their site, but if you are looking for a specific item and have a specific budget, it's easy to type in all the criteria and filter down the choices. I have only used Zappos for their shoes. The name brands and selection is great. Becoming a VIP member allows you to enjoy overnight shipping, and returns are always free of charge. Could not be easier to shop online!
I have bad ankle problems, explained my situation to a lady that goes by the name of Goddess with Zappos, she stayed on the phone with me a very long time, to help me. I appreciate that, not too many people deliver good customer service like that. I have worked in C.S. for 15 years. Nice to see someone who values me. I have bought over 6 to 7 pair of shoes in 1 year and have sent them back, even the z-coils, because of my ankle pain with standing at work.
If these shoes do not work for me, I want to let someone know that Goddess, gave me the best customer service ever and I would recommend this company to anyone. I just have problems with my feet, that require medical attention, which I am seeking. I hope these shoes work. This lady had me to look at several pairs of shoes and even looked at reviews outside of the website to help me make a decision. Highly recommend this place.

Back on May 23rd I place an order for 2 Caps and 1 pair of pants. On May 28 at 11:29 the package was dropped off. USPS placed the package in the lobby of our apartment complex. The problem is. I didn't get the package at my door. It looks like someone took my package from the lobby and kept it for themselves. This happens here which is why deliveries usually require a signature by the proper recipient. (In the past they have always required a signature at delivery) I have purchased many items before from Zappos and never had a problem. These items all arrived without a problem. My last order price was $106.33 that I didn't receive. I have written a number of letters to Zappos customer service email address: cs@email. zappos.com and have never gotten a reply. Now I'm making payments on a credit card for things I don't have.
More than anything I'm heartbroken. I really liked Zappos. They have a lot of items at prices I can afford. And I like the small videos they have describing the items. My emails have been begging for help, NOT flying off the handle. To me it seems like such an easy fix. I don't want my money back just please resend the items with signature required by recipient. I've worked in retail for many years and there's insurance companies have to cover the cost. Plus they can always file a claim with the USPS. I hope this gets me some help.
First, Zappos sent a pair of shoes in different sizes. Next, they said that they will ship a new pair with correct size which did not happen. Credit card was charged but no item was shipped. Then, contacted customer services for help which was not nice. It was a very nice store till last year but not anymore. Waiting for a refund.
Zappos offers so many different varieties of items to choose from, people assume it is only shoes and it SO is not. Have so many different brands of clothing, outerwear, and accessories too. They have the very best customer service I have ever experienced in my life. It is like their employees are speaking to you after they just won the lottery. They go WAY, WAY above and beyond to make your experience with them the very best it can be. No company out there had easier returns (online that is) than Zappos. Received things in record time. I ordered a soldering iron and solder. I received everything in excellent shape. I also found some nice glass and it was fabulous. I received all my stuff for way less than other places who had the Same items. They have a lot of hard to find articles. I love looking on the website. It was very easy to get around the site. The search pulled up lots of matches. So easy to use. I love it. I will recommend it to all my friends. I have not had to send anything back. I'm sure they will offer great service on returns. This is an awesome site. Everyone I know loves it.

I have never returned any items to this retailer, but from the online info, it looks very easy and cost effective. A prepaid label is a bonus as well.

I did deal with them once several years ago and it was a very positive dealing as I remember. I got the shoes I wanted at a very fair price plus it was free shipping and the package arrived in only two days which is much better than Amazon. The website is laid out in a neat and orderly way and is easy to navigate and find the product you are looking for. Also they have so much more than just shoes. I once had to return a pair of shoes that did not fit properly and the process was very easy using the enclosed return label. My refund was issued within a few days.
I bought a pair of Toms that were delivered with free shipping in a very timely manner. Came quicker than I thought and no problems with the shoes. As long as a company doesn't ship the wrong item or the item isn't damaged I'm a pretty happy camper. Shipping was free as well which is what I shoot for from any company! It was pretty easy to order and search for the Toms. In fact I was surprised they even had Toms which made me a little bit happier. The process of entering a card making an account was pretty straightforward as well. I would assume based on their free shipping that they will most likely provide a way for you to return the item free of charge if you are not satisfied.

I had ordered my stepdaughter a backpack she wanted for Christmas last year and I ordered late. But they had to me in record time for her Christmas. No problems with my order with it being so close to Christmas last year. I ordered rather late and was not sure it would get here in time. I emailed them to make sure it was on its way and they assured me it was. When I went to Zappos, all I had to do was type in the name of the backpack that I wanted to order and it came up the first item. As long as you have a good description of the item, it is very easy to find it. I have not had to return any items to this retailer. Everything I have ordered has been exactly what I wanted with no problems. I am sure if something had to be returned, it would be no problem with their customer service.

Needed help with a return. Very easy to deal with customer service. A return label was emailed & the correct product was sent. The customer service department was helpful & professional. She explained the entire return process & issued a credit immediately. I had priced the shoes at a retail store & also at additional online stores. Because of the good service I previously received I purchased from Zappos. The shoes came quickly & no shipping costs. Their website is easy to use. Placing my order was easy and I was also contacted with a confirmation email which I really like when companies do that so I can move the emails to a receipt folder. They have nice shoes from very well known brands, the shipping is reasonable and the customer service is good too. They have a pretty good reputation from what I've seen also, which is what made me decide to order from them in the first place. It's very easy to use, just as easy as using eBay or Amazon. You can read reviews of products and sizing information before you add them to your cart and checkout is also simple too. I honestly don't know their return policy because my items fit fine but I'm sure it's an easy process judging by the customer service and ease of use on their site. They seem like a very promising company.

Prices are about what one would pay in a store or another website. Super fast shipping is the value. Free returns, also. Merchandise is easy to find by size, genre, color, price, heel height, newest. Price going up or down. Super fast checkout. Multiple payment options. I cannot attest to the returns process because I've never had to return a product, but it looks simple and user friendly.
I did not really engage in much customer service. I did return the shoes, and it was easy but I never needed to talk to anyone. I like that about it. I prefer to do things through website only. I do not like it when you have to reach a high minimum value to get free shipping. Shipping costs too much. I think shipping should be free or very cheap. There is a big selection and it is easy to move around the website and find the right color and size. It is sometimes hard on some sites to tell whether something is in stock, enter your information to buy and so on, and this was not the case. I would say the worst part is how long it takes sometimes to get the money back, because Amazon is much faster.

I called customer service and asked about an item that been listed as sold out. Customer service went beyond the moon to get me a replacement item and even called back after I got my item! There are always some discounts or specials that are going on. They will also price match if they don't have a sale or special going on. Price matching is also fast, quick, and easy. Using the site is very simple if you've ever shopped online. Their interface is very simple and to the point so it's easy to read everything. I've never actually run into technical issues whenever I shopped on Zappos. I would have to say that this is my favorite experience when it comes to shopping on Zappos. The fast returns and refunds is something that has come to spoil me.

Great with exchanging shoes - no shipping or return fees. The items were well packaged and I never had any problems. Did not speak with anyone but website was user friendly. Price for the same products was similar to sites across the internet. I really would have had no reason to shop elsewhere. I loved the variety as well. Easy site to navigate, easy check-out process. I've found that shoes on zappos.com are similarly priced or slightly cheaper than they are elsewhere. I've ordered reliable shoes from them. The website is very easy to use. It provides recommendations, but you can also search by type of shoe or exact style or brand. Ordering is easy and problem free. I have never tried to make a return to zappos.com. I have always been satisfied with my orders so there was not any need.

When the shoes came, I was able to send them back with the included form taped over the original label, for free. Zappos received the return within a few days and refunded me, and then sent the right shoes at a discount.

Customer service is great. They reply back quickly and are very helpful when you have an issue. They also go out of their way to help you and to make sure that your problem is solved. Their shoes may normally be pricey, but the clearance/sale shoes are very worth it. They also have coupon codes that end up making your purchase a great deal. The website is very easy to use. Everything is straightforward and not difficult to maneuver. The site is well organized and is easy on the eyes. I have returned an item once and it was very easy. Their service is great and they don't question why you are returning an item. You are given 365 days to return an item!
I didn't have to deal with customer service, but the emails for the order and shipping confirmation were very promptly received. Seems like they would have been fantastic to work with if needed. I was specifically looking for Roxy's and they had a huge selection and a lot of them were a little cheaper than at the local store. Plus free shipping!! It was a very user friendly website. I was able to order and decide which shoes with no issues. Receiving emails from them with all updates of my order status was amazing. I didn't have to return anything but a return label was included for ease, which is nice. I also felt they would have been very quick about processing the return.
I had no customer service issues. The site allows for self-service - even with returns. It is very simple to use and I will be shopping with Zappos again! Easy to use and saved me time. I purchased shoes for my daughter and the simplicity of the website and Zappos return policy saved me time, energy and gas involved in making a trip to the store to find shoes! Zappos has a website that is very easy to use. Especially if you need to make a return. I will definitely shop with Zappos again thanks to the simplicity of their site. I returned a pair of shoes that did not fit my daughter. Process could not have been easier.
I called to ask some questions about several products and the rep was very polite and efficient, and was able to answer all my questions satisfactory for me to place the order. The price of the shoes were good and I loved the styles that they were showing online. I was very happy with the product and the fit when I received them. Was able to place my order with little effort and was able to read about the product and some reviews which makes it easier to place an order. I never had to do a return. But if I did I'm sure that I would not have any issues with the return. I'm sure it would be easy and fast to make a return.
Never had to use customer service because I have been satisfied with all products... Fast shipping and good prices and great fit. I am sure if I had to use customer service they would be efficient and solve the problem. I think the prices are very fair, better than most stores. I enjoy getting the best deal and I think this is the place. They have a nice selection of sneakers, casual shoes and dress shoes. The site is easy to navigate and they offer helpful suggestions for other shoes and accessories. They walk you through the process so it's very easy. I order from this site because I know if there is a problem or an issue it is easy to return. They refund the money quickly and send a new pair quickly.

When I didn't know what kind of shoe I wanted the guy that I talk to him customer service helped me find the shoe that I wanted and I bought it. The shoes I bought were $25 cheaper than they were on Amazon or any other website that was around at the time. I'd call that value. The website is very user friendly and easy and simple. The app is also very good and user friendly and easy. Both are very easy to use. I think they give you a year to return your purchase. Provided you don't wear the shoes outside or scuff them up or anything. That is a pretty liberal return policy by anyone's imagination.
