I'm a person with chronic foot issues due to having Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (a genetic condition that makes joints easily dislocate, it is incurable and it is degenerative, meaning it only gets worse). A decade ago, in my thirties, I noticed my feet were getting larger and all of my shoes were too small. Then the nerve pain started and my feet would burn, even just waking up in the morning before getting out of bed. Doctors of course gave me drugs for the nerve pain, but I looked for other ideas. I found WalkFit's original version back then, and if people complain now about them being stiff you've no idea how hard they used to be! They came with a booklet explaining it takes time to adjust and suggested no more wear than 20 minutes the first day, and every day thereafter for about a week.
That's what I did. And I was instantly in love. Yes, they hurt, but the nerve pain that had been growing steadily agonizing was gone within two days, but only when I had them on. After wearing them steadily in all of my shoes for a year, my feet were "shrinking" again. I went back down a full shoe size. I suspect my feet had flattened out so horribly that that's why they got bigger, and it was pinching nerves in the process.
Now, I've never seen the commercials so I don't know what they claim to do but I can tell you what I've experienced. If I stop wearing them for any length of time my plantar fasciitis comes back - which was originally caused by wearing a pair of horribly inflexible shoes. Took me a while to figure that out, and now I forgo any shoe that I cannot easily bend. My arches went back up to where they used to be, and the nerve pain that I was experiencing when I first found these has never come back. Not once.
My most surprising discovery was that they helped my ankles to stop rolling in or out, but particularly in. My son also had EDS and his ankles roll in HORRIBLY. As soon as he was big enough to fit the smallest pair of WalkFit I started putting them in his shoes and he is in far less pain in both his feet and his knees because the inserts cup the heels and the high arch of them hold his ankle steady so it doesn't roll in. I have a whole shoebox full of these inserts, as they've changed the design throughout the years, and I'd be absolutely devastated if they stopped making them. They are in every pair of shoes that I wear, and why I avoid wearing sandals - they can't go in or stay put without a full shoe to hold them.
I'm terribly sorry so many of you have been scammed by the website. It really is a great product, but it really depends what is wrong with your feet. For myself and my son, these $19 at Target insoles have saved us both from horrible pain and additional injuries from rolling our ankles and twisting them so often. Buy from a brick and mortar store, and if they don't work for you, you can very simply get your money back! Ordering from the website sounds like a nightmare. How very disappointing that a product so amazing has a website and customer service so incredibly awful! But I thank you all for your reviews, as I regularly recommend them to people and now I know to never point them at their website. Thanks for looking out for others.

Don't order from their website. They will send products and charge even if you do not submit an order. When I contacted them about sending items I did not order they will let me send them back but I have to pay shipping and handling.

The first time I used them I can say I found them uncomfortable, but I did not pay attention to the instructions about a proper break in period. The second time....a few years later when I was suffering from severe plantar fasciitis I pulled them out again and they saved my life! I got relief right away from the pain. It did not go away completely right away, but after a few months all pain went away. Sometimes I will go a day without them and regret it when my feet are very sore.
One thing that is VERY important!! Many places sell these without offering different sizes. DO NOT Buy from them!!! For orthotics to work properly they must be the right size for your feet. Be sure of your size and buy only that size if you want the best results. There are no guarantees in life, and everybody is different, but for me and my wife who is on her feet walking delivering mail everyday, we swear by this product, and they cost a mere fraction of orthotics you can get from your doctor!! If you’re like some of us, buy one pair to try. Forget any additional offer Walkfit might make. You will likely want to buy a couple more pairs later once you have made sure they work for you, so you don’t have to change them from shoe to shoe so often.
One more thing I have discovered is that once you have found relief, you will find foot maintenance more comfortable if you slip them under the inserts that come with most shoes, but you NEED the firmness of these orthotics to correct the cause of your pain first. Another solution for shoes that don’t have removable inserts such as leather dress oxfords, I bought so thick soft leather. Cut it to fit and used contact cement to glue it to the top of the orthotics. Whatever. These do a great job and are a great value! After trying several over the counter brands that were supposed to give relief from pain of plantar fasciitis, the Walkfit brand was the ONLY one that worked!

I placed 2 orders for insoles, which I do like. No problem with the first order. The second order they sent a bottle of pills, which I did not order and can"t swallow pills. Then I receive another 2 bottles of pills which I did not order with a $46.00 charge. I called. Talked to the supervisor and they want me to spend my money returning the pills that I did not order and credit my account. I also did not give them permission to save my credit card on file, which is illegal. Do not order from these people! WARNING!

I wish I had gone to this website to see the bad reviews before ordering the Walkfit insoles, and I would have saved myself $69.70. I ordered 2 pairs of insoles, one for $19.95 and the second for $14.95. The shipping/handling for these 2 pairs of insoles was $14.90. They sent me 2 pairs of slippers, supposedly free but shipping/handling was $39.90, and 1 bottle of joint support formula for free, which I did not order.
I was charged $34.90 for the insoles and $34.80 for the shipping/handling. Ridiculous!!! I spoke to Christine (customer service) this morning (7/12/19) and complained about the exorbitant shipping and handling and demanded they credit my account with half of the shipping charges. She said they will credit my account with $9.00, not more than that as that is the policy of their company. I was so upset I forgot to cancel the Joint Support Formula. I definitely will call tomorrow morning to cancel and call my credit card company as well. With regards to the insoles, I haven't used them yet for walking. I will write another review when I try them on and after I contact them tomorrow.

I bought these insoles upon my podiatrist's recommendation two years ago. They worked great for my plantar fasciitis using the medium arches. I am ordering two more pair now because the base of the insoles cracked vertically on both sides. But for $19.99 every two years, it's worth it.

I was considering purchasing a pair of orthotics, but based on many of the negative reviews I read online, I called the ordering # given during the infomercial to ask a few questions. Agent was unable to give honest answers - am so glad I did not purchase these! So many problems with the product, billing, and returns - if you're going to buy these, go to a brick-and-mortar store like Target. We all know how dishonest infomercials are, and the odds of being scammed are almost 100%.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE INSOLES!!! For all those that are complaining about this insole, you're insane LOL! Just like any DECENT foot item, you must give it break in time. A decent pair of shoes or boots is going to rub differently on your feet, why would you think anything else wouldn't need a decent break in time. I have worn these insoles for YEARS!
After having stood behind a desk at a hotel for anywhere from 12 to 15 hours a day, I was desperate to find anything that would allow my feet not to feel pain. I found these insoles, followed the directions, and within a week or two I finally felt like I was walking on clouds! It just got better day by day! Prior to finding these insoles I was diagnosed with plantars fasciitis and told that I would have to spend a considerable amount of money on either new shoes or extremely expensive insoles to find relief. Being a single parent I did not have the option to do either. I located these insoles and decided that I was just desperate enough to pay more than my $5 to $10 that I was paying every month towards Dr. Scholl's insoles. I haven't looked at any other insole sense! I recommend them to everyone, and now I work in a grocery store on hard cement floors all day long. Walking, standing, racing through the store at times, you couldn't pry these insoles off of my feet!!
I absolutely love their lifetime warranty and again I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE TO ANYONE AND EVERYONE!! Do yourself and this company a favor and give your insoles the proper break in time, you will be extremely happy that you did!!! I am attaching a picture of my new, slightly used pair, next to my YEAR+ pair??? The insole on the left is new and the insole on the right is extremely well used, LOL.

The Walkfit infomercial is a bunch of garbage. When did they tell you about the break-in period...NEVER! When did they tell you about the discomfort period you would experience...NEVER! When did they tell you this might cause you foot pain the next day at work...NEVER! If you want to know what these inserts feel like...just tape golf balls to the bottom of your feet and start walking around.

I have tried the product for weeks & I called them to tell them I am returning the product and they tried to tell me I cannot, it only has a thirty day money back guarantee. I informed Melba that I would dispute it with my credit card. I am not comfortable with the product I have tried like it said to. Then they inform me I would not get back my shipping. Very poor customer service! The slippers were too big. I have not had a very good experience with this product at all. The product felt too hard at times. How can you try a product in thirty days especially something of this matter, when it's for your feet. The commercial I watched said free shipping, Melba informed me it was not. I feel like they should refund all my money.

I'm concerned about all of the ordering and billing issues other reviewers have mentions, but I've found the product to be amazing. For years I wore custom made orthotics ordered through a podiatrist for many hundreds of dollars and then orthotics custom made after measuring and ordering in a store for a little less, but still expensive. They all helped me walk more, but I still had a lot of trouble. Then I decided to give the Walkfit a try (I think my first ones were the version before Platinum, but most pairs I have are Platinum). They work far better than any custom made orthotics I tried and they are cheap enough that I have bought many to leave in different shoes instead of switching them over. I haven't worn out a pair yet in spite of using them for a lot of walking in walking shoes as well as for a lot of work in work boots.
Work boots and many shoes are flat enough in the insole that the Walkfits can be used without removing the insole, and for me they even work that way in shoes that have a fairly good arch to start with. I am concerned that they charge too much for shipping & processing, especially on multi-pair orders, but I just went to the website and it looks like I can put the items in my cart and the prices are listed before I have to give them any data, although sales tax may not be shown yet. I seem to remember that my first order over the phone was a bit of a hassle, but I don't think they charged me any extra. You can buy them in stores or on Amazon if you're worried about billing hassles. Right now they are cheaper at the company website though.

I did received two sets instead of one, BUT :) my sister CAN walk now and the pain is gone, so thank you so much for creating this weird looking insoles that somehow adapted to her feet and now she walks normal again!!! Give it a try these are the best $19.99 twice charged plus S&H that I have ever spent. I am so happy that my sister is walking without pain that I am wearing the extra set just to celebrate her recovery.

I bought my insoles a few years ago. I purchased them at Bed, Bath and Beyond as I do not trust ordering online. They will always try to sell you additional items and I refuse to give my credit card info online. When I first bought them, they were very uncomfortable. I wore them for thirty minutes, then worked myself up to longer time. I eventually stopped and put them away. Years went by and I developed foot pain. I tried many insoles and even treated with a podiatrist. After a couple of cortisone shots, x-rays, MRI and over $500 in medical bills, I also visited a GOOD Feet store and their prices were outrageous for the insole. Over $1,000. I decided to try the walk fit again and I will not use anything else. It really works for me. The only thing I don't like is the thickness. It would fit better if it was thinner. What I like is it doesn't wear thin if you wear it for a long period of time. I've had mine for years now.

We were trying to order these on Amazon but for some reason Amazon doesn't carry one of the most common sizes 7 to 8 so we had to go to the Walkfit website. We picked out the correct size and put in the card information and it just checked us out without giving us the opportunity to see what we were being charged. They were supposed to be $19.99 plus shipping because they didn't allow us to see what the cost were. The total amount was $29.99. Once we put the credit card information in there was no way of confirming the order or selecting a choice of shipping. The order is supposed to be here tomorrow. We will see how many other games will be played! The shipping showed $4.99 so where the other $5 came from who knows.

They only refund the price of the arches and not the S&H even though it was their mistake. $39.80 S&H from California to Chicago? RIP OFF! I never got an order confirmation via e-mail because they didn't want me to see the order with 3 pairs of arches at $99.65 or I would have cancelled it immediately. I only wanted to try a pair for the $19.95 each that they advertise on TV. And the product SUCKS!!! It's like have a big round rock under your foot. Plus you have to tear out your shoes insole to fit these in, which they forgot to mention in the TV commercial. What if I didn't like them and now I tore out the insole of my shoes. It is confusing to know what is going on about how and who is selling these inserts. A rule I have is to NEVER buy from infomercial ads, as they have a very bad reputation, as reported on this site. These are sold at Walmart? and Amazon. Originally, I purchased at Target years ago. At first I didn't like the inserts, and set them aside, because it didn't immediately comfort my feet. I bought others at various stores, gradually educating myself about how inserts work. In the end, I used these. If you have plantar fasciitis, you need to stretch a band on underside of your foot, and these will do that over time. Start with the 1 least curved, and as your foot adjusts to it, change out to the more arched one in the series of 3. You may need to take them out in the beginning on and off during the day, until that band starts to stretch. Your shoes need to have enough space inside to accommodate any orthotic insert, so you might need a different shoe.
Later, I learned that a free exercise can do the job. Stand up on your toes! Not literally, but do raise the back of your feet up, balancing yourself on the front ball and toes. Up for a second, down. Repeat. Start out with a few. Hang on to something to balance yourself. Even if you have only one foot with fasciitis, do this exercise on both. I continued to use the walkfits inserts for a year or more because they provide support. Ideally, they should make these from super thin materials, to fit into more shoes. They would cost more than $20. An insert for pure comfort is a cushier material, rather than this one. Good support usually doesn't come with soft material. My photo shows a few... Need a new pair of Walkfits, as they are worn, missing pieces. I don't wear others.
