    So is this what Touch of Modern calls making up for losing my order the first time? Receiving a broken product and not my full order? But it's okay, their automatic reply assured me I'd be helped promptly. Let me start you on my journey. I placed an order a while back with Touch of Modern for an item that I will go on to never receive.

    When they originally lost the first order the response time was 4 weeks after I contacted them on top of the 6 weeks I already waited for the item before I contacted them.. They had issued me store credit after waiting a total of 10 weeks for something I never received, and now what I actually had received is broken and unsalvageable. This has to be some joke if you think I'll be happy with another store credit. God have mercy on my soul when and IF I get the other part of my order that was placed that same day. Have a day you deserve, and possibly rethink taking those customer satisfaction reviews into consideration. Because this is a joke...

    I ordered a leather jacket in 3XL. What came to me was a jacket that fit a female friend who wears a woman's medium. I contact Touch of Modern and they told me I'd be contacted about returning the item. That contact never happened. I'm stuck now with a 200.00 jacket that I can't wear. I will warn my friends to not do business with this company.

    This company is scam. Charge your credit card then sent you wrong, counterfeit merchandise after 4-5 months. They do not accept cancelation. They have no return policy. No live person to answer your inquiry. Do not waste your money.

    They really have gone downhill, like crashed and burned. I have made dozens of purchases over the last few years and when I had issues, their response was prompt and courteous but they're absolutely terrible now. Items don't ship until months after the stated/expected delivery date (if at all), then they say there's a delay but the same item pops up for sale again with a faster delivery timeline than the order I placed 45 days ago, WTH? And now support is terrible, sending cut and paste responses and going in circles rather than a human answering you (or reading your email) and then they ghost. Latest is they canceled the wrong order because they failed to read the email string. Lastly, they don't like to refund you, they offer a store credit. I can no longer recommend them, very sad, they lost a loyal customer.

    I ordered shoes, they didn’t fit. I requested a return authorization and sent the shoes back per their instructions in a timely manner. Been waiting for a refund for two months. I keep sending them emails, text messages through the app. No answer and refund. From the reviews I’ve seen it seems like a scam. So want to let consumers know that it is a scam. They take your money and they don’t want to give you your refund back. I will be contacting the attorney general for my state to file a complaint too.

    Terrible company. I attempted to order an item. It entered the order twice. I immediately contacted the company and let them know I order 1, not 2. They didn’t care, saying that they would not cancel the extra order even though I contacted them within minutes of the incorrect order. Then I learn that the item would not be delivered for at least 3 weeks. That was too long for me so I tried to see about faster delivery. They said no faster, and they declined to cancel the order. Again, this was within minutes of the order being made. I have unsubscribed from their emails (several times per day). Their customer service is bad. Don’t buy from them!

    Touch of Modern is a straight up Scam. I am not sure how they are even in business and have such a large following. I ordered a Gift Card from there for my husband and it was over a month late. Yes just a gift card coming from Ohio to New England.. Makes no sense. They did not respond to my emails then. Now we placed an order using the gift card, and it doesn't allow you to charge the shipping or the tax to the gift card, big red flag. When we actually placed the order, instead of using the money for the gift card they used the credit card. I reached out immediately afterwards and I have received no response in over 5 business days. I'm sure they won't answer. This site is a scam site and I wish I never got pulled in by their "luxury" marketing. Not surprised at other reviews saying their items are counterfeit.

    On 11/12 I purchased a MagSafe charger for Christmas. I was told shipping would be 12/3 latest. On 12/6 I contacted them regarding missed shipping date. They have no idea when it will ship because they don’t have the items they sell. They send a flyer to you, give you two weeks to purchase, then contact the company who makes that item and purchases from them ever how many of the items they sold. If the company doesn’t have that many and has to manufacture them. It can take months, or not at all. They then told me if the item hadn’t shipped by 12/17 to contact them.

    On 12/16 I could see how this was going and asked for refund so I could purchase elsewhere as it was getting dangerously close to Christmas. I was offered a store credit. I requested refund again. I was told the person I’d been talking to could not do that but she would send my request upstairs. No response from upstairs at all but on 12/20 I was notified that manufacturer would be shipping item to them 12/21-12/24 and they’d ship to me immediately. By 12/26 no word from them on shipping. No word from upstairs on a refund either. On 12/27 I requested refund again. No response.

    I placed an order for an artisan lightbulb the other day (10/10/22). I realized within minutes after placing the order that I had picked the wrong item. I tried to request that the order be cancelled - but there is no option for that. Their FAQ states -"Touch of Modern works with our vendors daily to ensure production and delivery of orders as quickly as possible. This process starts from the moment our customers place an order. That means it’s not possible for us to cancel or modify an order, but it’s also how we’re able to provide great products at steeply discounted prices. Please make sure you are aware of any return policy prior to making your purchase."

    Well - I will tell you that this is not communicated when placing an order - and I find it quite amazing that they are so fast, they can't possibly stop an order (They aren't - I've ordered from them before and you can bet there's no rush anywhere in the process. I should have learned from experience.) Additionally - if you price check their products, you'll be hard pressed to find any of their products 'steeply discounted'. This is simply another slick looking web page/company promising 'a curated collection of products' hawking other producers goods at inflated prices. They're here for your money, not to provide service or support. Steer clear of this one, it's a 'Touch' questionable at best.

    First time purchase at this site. Will be my last. I've contacted them and they answer with fluff. Cookie cutter replies. My product was supposed to ship in 1 day. It's been over a week and they know nothing.. They have no idea when my product is gonna ship!! I asked exactly where my product was and they replied with "if it doesn't ship by the 29th, let us know." Huh? You don't know where it is or when it can get shipped??     I've been a customer for over 4 1/2 years. To be honest, I never had an issue until this past year. They have been TOTALLY late on my orders (months!) and when I have the option to cancel the order, they tell me, "NO, sorry you cannot." Even though I purchased it several months ago and the shipping time stated 1-2 weeks or 2-3 weeks. I ordered these particular items for Birthday gifts, Fathers Day, etc..., So since they never arrived, I ordered something else on Amazon or whatever... Fortunately, those other sites are reliable. Touch of Modern ALWAYS blames it on the vendor or some other lame excuse. Now I'm stuck with the original cost and extra items that I no longer need. Piss poor company now. I don't know what has happened, but it is inexcusable.

    I waited several years watching for something I just had to have. I made a purchase about 2 and half weeks ago. The jewelry I wanted was supposed to be delivered in 7-14 days*. Day 13 I sent another message, no response! I called my Credit Card company to let them know Touch of Modern is not making any attempt to keep me informed on my order! And I saw some bad reviews in various places with the same issue I was having!

    After I talked to my CC company they sent a email answering my 12! day Old email about the sales tax and nothing else. Today I got a email saying they cancelled the order with no explanation! I'm pretty sure it's because my bank took the money back after reading the reviews I saw! They are definitely watching their Bank Account but don't have time for the customers' question? Like why hasn't my order shipped? They have a no refund policy but you have to actually send a customer what they paid for within the promised Time or let them know there's a delay to enforce this! You can't just leave them hanging! Not good a business practice.

    So I've been a ToM customer for about 8 years. While I likely only make a purchase or two a year I browse the site daily and when I have ordered an item, the transactions have gone smoothly until most recently. For those of you who don't know, ToM most often acts as an intermediary...they list products at a discount, accumulate sales, then order the products from their supplier, repackage them and send them out. In this instance, I ordered a product and got an update saying it would be shipped by April 11th.

    I follow up a week or so later and get a generic reply that shipping delays are the cause, be patient. Follow up again another week later...am told it will be shipped within the week. Follow up again and get told my request is being escalated. Wait another week and get told they are treating my shipment as lost, how would I like my refund.

    Thing is, I don't want a refund...I want my product...and I tell Zach (the CSR) that I expect my product, that I know they don't carry extras but I'm sure their supplier does...I don't care about their cost...they sold me the item, they received it from their supplier and they lost the product I paid for. I know Zach likely can't authorize the extra cost that product will likely cost ToM...so he better bump it up the line until it gets to someone who can.

    Four days later I get a carbon copy of the first email... I then provide a more thorough explanation of what I expect...it's not rocket science...ToM sold me an item they received and then lost. Their supplier still has stock though maybe not at the discount they'd received earlier...that's their problem, I expect my purchase. 3 days later, still no response. Which is complete and utter ** as it's currently a month and a half after the initial shipping estimated date.

    Ordered an original art from Touch of Modern. Said it would ship in two to three weeks. LIE!! Spent $918.00 for nothing. It has been two months and no updates or excuse for the delay. Can't even talk to a real person! Literally 10-12 emails asking for information and no response other than a generic email "escalating" my complaint. I even asked for a refund and no response, but they will email me every day about the "new" sales they are having. Customer Service is nonexistent. It's like they took my money and disappeared. Had to finally ask my credit card company to go get my money. Still waiting on that. Please don't let my mistake be yours. This company is either way in over their head or they are outright scammers. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Purchased March 14th. Order #**.

    The Croton pen I purchased from Touch of Modern is most certainly a fake. Although the touch of modern package says "authenticity guaranteed", this is most definitely a replica, knockoff or whatever you want to call it. The most obvious clue is the logo on the top of the pen. It is blurry and barely visible. And to the best of my knowledge, these pens are made in the U.S., not China, as is evident from the packaging. $29 for a $100 pen should have been the tip off.

    It has been 8 days (and 4 emails), since I received the bogus merchandise from Touch of Modern. They have not responded to my request to simply send me the authentic product. This isn't just a customer complaint about a faulty product, this is a crime. After looking at reviews of this company, it is plain to see that I am not alone when it comes to the experience of extremely poor customer service and product issues.

    I wrote a review in April regarding delayed shipment of sweaters and customer service not fulfilling their agreement to send shipping labels. Well, after I wrote the review, I deleted my account because I didn’t expect any further actions from them. My plan was to sell the sweaters online. Interestingly, TOM Customer service sent an email with the shipping labels two weeks after the review.

    I mailed the sweaters back and I’m here to report that I did receive my refund today. My guess is that they are in need of additional employees to help with customer service issues like everyone else. While I cannot change my original one (1) star, today I give them four (4) for fulfilling their original obligation (although it was an extremely slow process).

    Preparing for spring break in NY, I ordered several sweaters for my husband. One sweater shipped in time while the others were delayed by more than 3 weeks. I contacted Touch of Modern to have the ordered canceled. Customer service originally said that they will attempt to place a stop on the order. The next email said the order was being shipped. Frustrated, I emailed them again regarding the original plan to cancel and receive and refund. This representative apologized and stated that he would email a return label. I received the packages and have yet to receive the return label. I just sent another email to follow-up on the return label. In all honesty, I do not expect any follow-up or transparency regarding a return label. I figured they were scammers after the return label was never emailed. While I did not pay for the sweaters using my AmEx, I believe they must be exposed for their business practices.

    A regular customer of Touch of Modern, have spent thousands there. However after you make a purchase, Be Aware// The customer service dept do not care about You or your purchases. I'VE RECENTLY Bought a sheet set, I was shipped a set with only one pillow cover, let customer service know, they don't even respond to you I've should have had two pillow covers according to packaging. Also I've bought three belts. They were shipped to me defective belts from China, I contacted customer service. Nothing. No responses. They got my money for the junk but no customer satisfaction HERE. Watch out for their final so-called sales. Fortunately most of my purchases with touch of modern the products were okay. However with the lack of customer service I will spend my money elsewhere. 'Later'

    I tried Touch Of Modern for the 1st time in February 2022. I ordered a watch and received it in a few days in perfect condition. Because of that one experience, I placed 3 more orders, that's when the HORROR began. **2nd Order: I ordered a Lamborghini watch (Advertised as "New" w/ 2-year warranty) which I received in 2 weeks. The yellow leather watch band was completely destroyed, severed at the watch case, and black scrapes on both bands. The crystal had multiple pits, scratches, and even finger smudges (ON THE INSIDE OF THE CRYSTAL).

    I emailed Touch Of Modern within an hour of opening the box, (they do not accept live calls.) As of this writing 04-01-22, they are still refusing to replace it blaming their vendor Lamborghini, saying Lamborghini is not returning their calls and emails. I received an email from Lamborghini on 03-29-22 advising me "this is the first they've heard of the problem, we respond to emails within 24 hours." He went on to say "We only send out new watches that go through several inspections before they are sent. It sounds like another customer bought the watch from Touch Of Modern, wore it, then returned it back to Touch Of Modern; then Touch Of Modern sold it to you. I don’t want to get in the middle of that.”

    They asked me to send photos to them, and after I did they responded back telling me to send it to Lamborghini (1) at my expense, (2) they will replace the band and "look at the crystal". I advised them I want what I paid for a NEW watch, not a used or refurbished watch. Lamborghini told me "Evidently I cannot please you, the best thing will be to go thru Touch of Modern for a return claim." The next day I received an email from Touch Of Modern saying: "Our vendor partner has stated that they will be contacting you directly regarding this issue. They have stated that all you will need to provide them with is a copy of your Touch of Modern receipt. If you are still having issues when they contact you, please let me know!" This email a day AFTER: Lamborghini had refused to replace the watch and sent me BACK to Touch Of Modern the day before!!

    **I ordered a 3rd watch, which they promised waiting 2-3 weeks. It's going on the (THIRD MONTH) since I ordered that watch and not only have I not received it, they have never sent it out, again blaming their vendors, when I could have easily ordered and received it from Amazon in 2 days. Touch Of Modern advertises their products as "NEW", yet in my brief experience with them they have sent (1) Used and Destroyed watch, (2) Another watch that has never been sent, and a (3) A Rare Materials Collection which, again that has never been sent. Touch Of Modern continues to blame its vendors.

    Is the trust of Modern a scam? If you know anyone that has dealt with them ask.

    Avoid buying from a company where you can not reach them for any reason...bought a 900 item and it can not be used due to a 25 cent piece. I used the internet for days to try to find a phone number anywhere on planet earth. It does not exist so I emailed them over and over and over.     I made a purchase with ToMo recently, and they promised the shipment in 2-3 weeks. One month later nothing was shipped nor did they send any update or explanation. After I contacted their support, they said it was the vendor's fault and they could not provide any ETA. I asked them to cancel the order and send me my money back – which they refused saying the "sale was final". I explained to them that they are in violation of FTC rules and that I did not approve any delays and want my refund, which they simply ignored and then kept sending me automated responses that the sale is final. I had to contact my credit card company and dispute the charge to get my money back. Will never buy from these guys, it's clearly a scam.

    I ordered a $1499 watch from Touch of Modern before Xmas, fully paid and email confirmed of the order, promised to deliver before Year End (2021). Today is 16/01/2022 and still no sign of it. And since 01/01/2022, they put my account to "not active" state, so I cannot log in and check my order status anymore. Their Customer Support seldom reply to inquiries, and when they do, their reply is always "we will escalate your problem...and give you an update in 24 to 48 hours". And of course, they never give me any update afterward.

    This company is a scam. They buy second hand..non working..chipped...broken..fake dollar store JUNK! It took 2 1/2 months separately to get 2 separate orders. I bought a nixie bulb clock. It Had been repackaged. And the clock doesn’t work. Went directly to the seller, bought a another clock. Received it in 3 weeks. So why did it take 2 1/2 months for TOM to send it? Out at that point 305.00 with shipping. Just contacted the seller and he was gracious enough to say send it back to him in the UK. And he would gladly fix it. Now that customer service!!!

    It’s really not his problem since I bought it from TOM. But they will never get back to you. They don’t care. They lose customers one at a time. Then bought a table top fire pit. Came chipped and the stainless Steel insert came heavily rusted. And all scratched. Honestly looks used.. Totally scratched and sent back. And repackaged and sent to me. They are crooks. I feel robbed of my time and money. I Should have read the one star reviews first. Before I spent good money for total TRASH!!!!

    I received the 4 stools I ordered and saw immediately that they were poor quality. When I contacted Touch of Modern (very challenging project) I was told this product was not eligible for return. I then went to product page and checked the return policy for this item and sure enough it had a drop down which said no returns. This was not obvious at once. Had I known this was a product, or a company, that did not stand behind their products I would never would have dealt with them. Beware. They sell cheap items and their customer service is practically non existent.

    This was my first time purchasing from Touch of Modern. I decided to find some unique items for some family members that have everything. I purchased several items which arrived on time for Christmas with no damages, but being a gift. Returns on most items are not allowed which meant a couple items that did not meet what I thought I was purchasing I'm stuck with. The other issue is no direct phone connection to a customer service department. It appears the email or text to Customer service is placed online for other customers to respond to for answering your questions. Until they set up a real customer service department that you can call and speak to a representative and change their return policies I will not be making future purchases.

    I did find some unique products that are not sold by many stores, but items that I could cross shop were priced at or above big box store prices. Of the stores I shop. T.O.M. is the only one without at least a 30 day return policy or a direct contact call customer service department. A completely legit company should have both so a consumer can call if they have an issue or just a question and a minimum 30 days return policy for damaged or items that wasn't what they thought.

    I bought a Loft Lyfe // Thatcher C Table (Grey + Black) from them at #109.99 plus $15.75 for shipping and delivery. When it arrived it was damaged and chipped in places. The only way to contact the company is by email. I was told I needed to take picture of the damaged table, shipping label, outside of the box and packing material and they would then send the pictures to THEIR vendor. I now have an unusable Christmas gift stuck stored away in my house waiting for THEIR vendor to decide what I need to do with the item I bought from Touch of Modern. Since the item was damaged, I expected them to send me a return label and have Fedex pick up the item and to either refund my money or ship a NEW undamaged table. So far I have a long list of emails from them and no action and I have a large box stored away in a bedroom.     Ordered an iiRcade weeks ago and it still hasn't shipped. I was told they drop-ship directly from the vendor and won't even order it until the sale is over. I could have gotten this a week ago from another company for $100 less. They refuse to cancel my order even though they have not yet even ordered the item from the manufacturer.     Touch of Modern contract with vendors are very good, for them, they ask you 90 days to pay your invoices and they DO NOT pay on time, I have been emailing them over and over again, after 90 days of invoicing for a very low amount, and they keep replying:- "We will contact the other department," or whatsoever, what a shame. That’s probably how they can make very low prices, not paying their suppliers.

    Touch of Modern has terrible customer service and sells inferior products. I purchased a convertible beanbag chair. It is supposed to be stuffed with a queen sized beanbag mattress. The mattress that I received is stuffed with shredded foam (old and hard). When I contacted Touch of Modern about a return I received an email saying that the product was a final sale and can't be returned. The only place that I could find that information was on the invoice after I placed the order. Save yourself some grief and hours of aggregation, don't purchase anything from Touch of Modern!

    Purchased an item believing it was a metal version of a sling-shot that I had purchased on Amazon in heavy plastic. The item was listed as "aluminum alloy" and priced at $109.00. The one I purchased on Amazon was exactly like it for $26.00 under a different brand name. When I received the item it was exactly like the one that I had purchased for $26.00! It's exactly the same except I received more extra items (ammo balls, ammo bag, flashlight batteries) with the $26 version. I contacted T.O.M. the very same day I received it and asked for an RA to return the item. I was told the item was "not returnable"!

    Since when is an unused item unreturnable the same day received? Who's customer service is that bad? Touch of Modern, that's who. I had purchased 3 items myself in the past year, 2 on my daughter's account and 3 on my sons. Not a one-time unappreciative customer, but a loyal customer by definition. Had no influence on their return decision whatsoever and the listing did not include a "sales final" warning.

    Dear madam/sir, This is the first time I ordered multiple watches in your website and it did not received yet. I followed up on after the mentioned time frame only it's been more than 55 days since my order and when I spoke with the customer support completely their answer is different. They said 3 different dates saying my watches are getting arrived and they skipped all the mentioned dates and said another different date. Even I waited for that day too. They missed that day too and when I again sent email they said that watch has arrived and inspection is going on with logistics team.

    I waited for 5 days and again asked what is the update now? They are saying that the watches are not received yet so I am really lost hope in the words of customer support. I am really depressed and asked to cancel my orders and will go to another website for buying now. They are saying that it's a huge amount and it needs to get approval. Do you think is that necessary for me? I want to beat myself with my shoe. Done a big mistake in shopping TOMO. She never answered what I am supposed to do with the pants. I responded, "I want a credit to my credit card or PayPal account not Touch of Modern."     I bought a Humbird bluetooth speaker. It's really bad quality. Their return policy doesn't allow me to return this item for exchange nor refund. The speaker is worst than any bluetooth speakers in the market and their claim is this will boost the sound 4-5 times volume of any average phone.

    Absolutely baffled how this company makes business the way they do, they take your money and then you have to wait nearly a month to get it, like it comes from China or something.... Not only do they charge $10 for shipping even for a small trinket, when these days nearly all legit online sellers offer some sort of free shipping, but they then ship via the slowest Snail-mail possible in the hole of the US, taking like 10 days to get to you!!!! Yep, and this is AFTER 2-3 weeks you placed your order, that's right, you better not need whatever you "bought" from them for the next month because that's how long it takes to get to you....Oh, and here is the fun part, after the month is over and you finally get your item, if something's wrong with it, there are NO refunds or exchanges, how is this place still in business is beyond me!!!

    I know, I know you have heard the stories before but at One point you probably would have seen a 5 star review here but this Company is on the decline and has been for a long time. I have been shopping this website probably since its inception and initially, my experience was positive. It started first more than 5 years ago when I ordered a clock, it came smashed. They made me jump through hoops and video record the box and damage to get a refund. Then I ordered an expensive watch. Advertised as New, the watch was beat up and used. It was so frustrating but I sent it back and they refunded me my money but only after a small fight.

    I continued to buy from here, small items as they have some fun stuff to find. Now recently I ordered a watch, arrived 3 weeks late. Even with covid it took over 6 weeks to arrive, much much too long as they stated 2-3 weeks. Wait, gets better, I get the watch and it is defective right out of the box. I contact them via email because you CAN'T Call them, NO Number. They tell me basically I'm lying and I don't know who to use the watch. I return it for them to "see if I am correct" about the watch. Now 3 weeks later, No return email or contact. They have my money and my defective watch. Who know what they will do? This is not how you do business, how they are still in business is a surprise but I implore you, use the website to find some great items but just go buy it locally, at the MFR website, Ebay, Amazon or anywhere else.     Touch of Modern implied this device was independent of third-party administrators and would stream directly to your mobile device. That’s only partly true. It requires users to download an app that is written in Chinese. When I went back to the TOM site, their return policies are next to impossible. I did not see on any of my purchase pages online that this was a final sale (no returns allowed), and even IF they would allow me to return it for a store credit, it has to be within 7 days of receipt. I bought this as a Christmas gift. I would never purchase from this company again. They operate without integrity or honesty.

    I made my first Touch of Modern purchase without doing any research, which I regret. I purchased three items for Christmas before Thanksgiving. Then I spent time going over their website and looking at all of their cool items. Fortunately, I did not order anything else. The first item arrived and it was complete garbage. It was a painting backlit with LED lights. The quality looked like a kid's craft project. The picture was hideous. It looked nothing like the picture online. That's when I learned TOM items are non-returnable so I was out that money.

    My other two items did not arrive when they said they would and I contacted the company. I was assured they were coming. The second item, a resin block light, finally arrived after Christmas. The item was very small, but okay. I wouldn't recommend it. The third item has still not even shipped six weeks later. I have contacted the company again so we will see. Save yourself the frustration and the money, don't bother with this company.

    I should have learned my lesson from the first time I ordered, it Takes forever for items to be delivered, they are evasive when answering questions about order delivery, and seem to have a litany of excuses, be wary of the no refund policy, it doesn't mean that if you don't like the item it is not returnable, it also means if they can't deliver it is non-refundable, everyone should be ready to challenge items with your credit card company or source of payment. My best recommendation for this company is just stay as far away as possible.

    I ordered 2 LED floor lamps from this company on 10/25/2020. The total price with shipping was $ 212.08, that was immediately charged to my CC. The expected shipping time was 5-7 weeks. The last day of the 7 weeks was 12/13/20 and the items have not arrived. On the 15th I contacted them, and requested a full refund.

    Their response was that I cannot cancel, because it was a final sale, and they have already processed the order. They attached a generic FedEx tracking label, that clearly shows that the items have not even been picked up by FedEx today, on the 16th. This company really smells like scam. Stay away!

    This company has very cool stuff - unfortunately, though, there is fine print about returns and exchanges (none, usually) and even if you make a legitimate mistake in your order, they will not be bend. There is no way to contact them by phone, and they do not care about keeping customers. Before you place an order, make sure you read every detail down to the end, because if you don’t like what you get, they will not help you. Too bad, since good customer service isn’t hard to offer, but they have chosen not to have it.

    Update on 12-3-2020, so it turned out Touch of Modern put the wrong name to the wrong picture. So they refunded the money and let me keep the picture. The second picture was delivered late but did show up, the correct item in good condition. Sucks the sale ended so I can't get the correct picture. Overall not liking the no return policy and the 48hr window to report a problem. Not sure if it's technically a scam but disappointing experience. I would not recommend.

    This was a horrible experience and feels like a scam. I started to shop on the app for Christmas since it had cool stuff at good price. Unfortunately it was a but bust. So far I have 5 orders open and 2 have been completed so far and 1 packages has disappeared in tracking. One was broken and the other was a $90 painting I ordered. Arrived yesterday and it was the wrong painting. Ugly and don't have any use for so I contacted them immediately.

    Good thing too because you only have 48 hr from delivery to make any kind of complaint. So if it arrives snapped in half if I called on 3 day I would be screwed. Then they tell me I won't be getting the correct picture because they didn't order it and that I won't get my money back. Just some store credit. Why would I be out everything because they can't do their job. It's just wrong. I don't want store credit to a store that has messed up 3 of the 5 orders. So far out $300+ in wrong product, damage product or lost product. Please learn from me. Avoid this place.

    I ordered a $2,000 piece of fitness equipment on Oct 2, 2020. The order was shipped Oct 7, 2020. Around 11/1, I decided to track the shipment as it should have arrived by that time. I contacted the Freight company via the tracking data provided by Touch of Modern on my order history. They indicated that the package/freight is missing and that Touch of Modern needed to open up a claim. Pilot Freight was kind enough to go into great detail on the tracking information and even provided my the contact number to the packing firm that prepared the shipment.

    Touch of Modern does not have any customer service telephone number. I have reached out to them via email and via text, as instructed. They have been non-responsive over the last several days. No answer, of any kind. My credit card has been charged, the product is missing, and the seller is not communicating in any way with the customer (me) even after I have reached out to try to find the problem/solution. Very disappointed in Touch of Modern and their sheer lack of customer service, at even a basic level.

    I ordered a Rock Bros wrap around mask and 12 Kn95 replacement filters. After waiting a month longer than the over two month shipping window I was given, they sent me filters that were not the filters I ordered. They simply opted to make a substitution without bothering to ask me if that was acceptable to me. I have to give credit to their customer service department, though, because even though I was rather sarcastic and acerbic in my original communications with them about the filters because, from all the reviews I read about Touch of Modern, I expected less than nothing from their customer service. My experience does not reflect those negative reviews about their customer service. They were courteous, responded quickly, and were diligent in pursuing my complaint. In the end, they were unable to supply the original filters I ordered, however, they refunded me the entire purchase amount. I am satisfied with the final result of my transaction.

    I purchased a snore mask and I am not able to return it. It is still in original packaging and was not used. I gave it as a gift. The product is awkward and has a protruding piece in center making it impossible to sleep with it. Company will not refund or give credit if even return. I had it for not even a week.     I ordered what was describe as a Tri Screen. The description and the picture shows three screens including the PC. I received one screen. The response to my complaint, "Sorry you misunderstood.     I recently purchased an Atom Micro USB Emergency Charger from Touch of Modern. I did not realize at time of purchase that they were selling an Android only product. So I asked for a refund. NO! A customer service rep did answer my email but said “NO!“. So even though I’ve never heard of a company that doesn’t allow you to return something, I relented and requested a company exchange. NO! Erin, the customer service rep (I’m surprised they have them!) once again said “Have a nice day....” but NO! Now, I am a senior and admit that I thought the device was iPhone compatible, but that’s what refunds or exchanges are for. A company that refuses you, as a potential customer, the basics of a refund or exchange, shouldn’t be in business. Then I read some of your other reviews of ToM I was shocked to see how bad it is. Do not do business with Touch of Modern. If there’s a problem with your purchase, you will be out your money.

    I ordered sneakers and was told they'd take a while to deliver due to COVID. A few weeks after the extended delivery date I wrote asking for an update. I received a response telling me my shoes were in transit to Touch of Modern and would be shipped to me ASAP once they received them. Two days later I received a follow-up email telling me that the shoes that were "in transit" actually were not and would be another month until they could be sent to me. i asked to cancel my order and receive a refund and was given an account credit rather than a refund. I complained that I wanted my money back and was told they'd have to review my claim. Can't believe a company like this would take advantage of a senior citizen by bot returning my money. Do they need my money that badly? Shameful.

    This is by far the worst online retailer I've ever used. They largely sell knock off generic things that are mostly fakes. On top of that it takes weeks to receive your order and they have an absolute no-returns policy, even if they send the wrong item or size. Their customer service is abysmal.     I have purchased a dozen or so products from Touch of Modern in the last 18 months. They charged my credit card and then made me wait an unreasonable amount of time for my purchase to arrive - in every instance. And, this was going on prior to COVID-19. One purchase - a watch for a graduation gift - was never sent. After three months, I finally petitioned AMEX to investigate and issue the credit. Otherwise, I would never have been issued a refund by ToM. All sales are final, so there’s no resolution if something is broken or arrives past the date promised. I will not likely do business with them again, unless it’s a small, insignificant item and I’d NEVER make a major purchase, like a Rolex watch. They don’t provide a number to call - just email. It’s a terrible business model, bordering on a scam (i.e., selling items they don’t have in stock). Save yourself the pain and inconvenience, don’t buy from ToM!

    Don’t order from this company!!!! Total scam! My fiancé saw a advertisement on Facebook for this company. On 4/2/20 I placed a order for a set of towels, hand towels and wash cloths. After the order was placed the site said it would be 2-3 weeks before my item shipped. It’s May 7th and I still haven’t received my order. I reached out to customer support 3 weeks after my purchase to inquiry about my order and I was told they are working hard with their vendor to get my order shipped. It would be shipped by the end of the month.

    The end of April has come and gone and I haven't heard anything. I google the company for a number. They no longer take calls in regards orders. I was directed to email customer support. At this time all I want is a refund but they have a no refund policy. They will issue a credit which will start the whole shipping fiasco once again. So now I’m at the mercy of this company with no product and they have my money. My next step is to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

    I place a order. It was a King size comforter and a Queen size Bed Sheets. They change my order and sent me a Queen size comforter and a Full size Bed Sheets. I emailed them. I was able to reach out to a person named Janice, she said she was going to look in to it. So I told her if she can give me a call when she can. So she was able to call me but, she told me that the items I ordered were final. I told her that I'm not going to stay with these items. She said she was going to see what she can do and said she was going to email me the same day. She never did. That was four days ago. I sent about fifteen emails and have gotten no response. I know they change my order. I have two more orders pending and I'm trying to cancel them but I am not able to reach anyone. This company is the worst I ever had to deal with.

    I received a gift card for Touch of Modern. After finally finding two items (shirt and sunglasses) that I could use, the ordering process became a nightmare. Nowhere could I find how to redeem the gift card until I did a google search. Then I discover it won't cover shipping. $5.95 fashion shipping and $10.00 standard shipping. So, for a $100 gift card I'm supposed to shell out $15.95 for sunglasses and a t-shirt that won't even get here for 2 to 3 weeks. Then I'll have a balance of $13.00 that I'll never use because they charge so much for shipping. Yes, one t-shirt and one pair of sunglasses cost $86.98. I've no clue why people would shop at Touch of Modern. Overpriced, lengthy shipping period and gift card that will only apply to a portion of your total...not the overpriced shipping part. RIDICULOUS.

    I ordered the Fab 4 miniature guitars from Touch of Modern, and that's a mistake I will never repeat! But I thought TOM was a reputable company and I thought I could save a couple bucks. Well I placed my order and it came to almost $90. They said it could take 2 to 3 weeks for delivery, a month later, I still haven't gotten my merchandise! And as far as their customer service....yeah....that's a joke!!! You are sent a cookie cutter reply that answers nothing! So I'm out $90 and they have absolutely no costumer service whatsoever!

    So I got a hold of the company that makes and sells the product that I ordered and I was told that TOM owes them A lot of $$ and that they are not selling them any more of their products until they receive payment! And TOM is still selling that company's products knowing that they can't fill those orders! That's who you are dealing with when you order from TOM!! You are much better off buying from the company that they are the middle man for! I'd give them less than 1 star but I'm not sure this will let me do that, just know that I would give them 0 stars.

    I decided to purchase a pair of sunglasses from Touch of Modern over a month ago with expected shipping date of 2-3 week. The disclaimer says final sale, not able to be returned. After a month went by I had not heard anything from the company so I attempted to call. Sorry, they no longer do service by phone, must use their site! I filed an inquiry and request to cancel and several days later received a response saying the order was a final sale and not cancelable but that they are working hard to procure and deliver the product! Filed a complaint with PayPal as they also claimed to not charge until they shipped...another lie. Please don't do business with these guys...total scam. Wish I had looked here first!

    On March 25 at 3:59am someone hacked my computer and was able to make a purchase from Touch of Modern for a watch for about $1500. I immediately received an alert email from them asking if it was me or not that made a purchase using a different IP address and they even included that address number. I notified them as soon as I checked my email at 7:00am that it was NOT me and they wrote back that the item had already been packaged and shipped and they could not refund the purchase.

    I made a police report and I am going through the proper channels with my bank, but I spent the entire day emailing the company because they have NO customer service number to call. If they cannot take care of their customers because of their OWN website's lack of security, they shouldn't be in business. Why would they have it set up to warn you if there is suspicious behavior on your account, but do NOTHING about it and leave you with the charges. It’s BAD business. BAD customer service. BAD company. Shame on you Touch of Modern.

    I have ordered different orders and my money stucked with them, simply this website does not have any products or inventory! They use your money to pay and purchase it for you from the stores that have clearance or getting rid of what remains.. Most of it have a small sizes or will not fit!! Very disappointed, it is a SCAM website even the customer service phone is disconnected and only way to reach them is by email!! Even if you return it only store credit you can get, & any new purchase they charge you sales tax and shipping even if you are exchanging same purchase...stay away.

    I ordered a pair of "indestructible" shoes, men's, size 12 (American). They sent me a pair of size 37 EU. It's an equivalent to a small female foot. Not even close. They initially responded and told me they are not refundable but if I return them I can have an exchange. I said, "Great. What do I need to do?" - send return info and anything needed.     I recently made my first purchase from Touch Of Modern, 2 Damascus Steel Chef knifes, This product was advertised as incredibly sharp, high end kitchen knives. After waiting almost a month for them I quickly discovered that they were actually the dullest knives I have ever purchased. I did buy these on sale so I was aware they could not be returned but contacted customer service anyway hoping they would offer some assistance as this product clearly didn't perform as advertised. The only response I received was "unfortunately we cannot do anything". Having been the head of numerous customer service operations at several companies over my career, I would rate their response and failure to stand behind their products amongst, if not the very worse I have seen. Had they been more helpful I likely would have become a life long customer and advocate, instead I will share this incredibly disappointing experience with all. Dave Y.

    I purchased a Lock Proof Pen for $30 from the website for my husband for Christmas and when he opened it, it basically fell apart!!! It is so cheaply made! Huge rip off and on top of it they have very strict return policies so you will be stuck with your overpriced cheap plastic crap that you receive. DO NOT BUY FROM TOM!

    This product is of poor quality, was delivered late, had horrible customer service and is overpriced. This company clearly isn't legitimate, but trying to sell crappy products through misleading advertising. They're clearly trying to scam people.     I purchased a World Wide Map ($159) and discovered it was improperly matted with the backing installed upside down which meant it could only be hung that way. Because of the flimsy backing we tried to velcro it to the wall which only partially worked. I COMPLAINED VIGOROUSLY to a customer service person, Janice, who attempted a resolution with the manufacturer but to no avail. I would have gladly returned the map but TofM return policies are strict and because this was purchased way before Christmas for a present, that was never an option. I will NEVER do business with them again!

    This item is the most inferior product I have ever purchased. I am partly to blame because I had high expectations. And I purchased it even though it had very little clear description. But when it arrived I found it to be nothing more than a piece of plastic in a plastic stand for over $100.00. I could accomplish this by reflecting it off a window. And I didn't realize that it had a "not eligible for return" tag. If I could give it minus stars I would. Not at all happy with this experience.

    Do not order from this company. Received item on December 26. Out of town for Christmas. Returned on the 29 to package on my doorstep. It was a Christmas present. That's fine. I knew it might arrive too late. Shipped it two day to my son. He received, but too small. Notify Touch of Modern that I would like to exchange. They refuse. Outside return window. It's clothing and too small. They don't care. Outside return window. I don't want my money back, just want to exchange. Again they don't care. $70 shirt that can not be worn. The shipping frame was two to four weeks. Evidently you must not go out of town for two to four weeks. Because if you do and item is too small, or broken that will be on you!

    Ok, I ordered a lighter from them on December 4th, last year, and I got an email saying it'd be 2-3 weeks, expected delivery December 25th, which was ok as this was to be a Christmas present. That date has come and gone and the emails I've gotten back basically state they wait until they have several orders for the same item, buy it all at a bulk rate price, and then and only then, do they finally ship out what any given customer paid for.

    I've seen the ads and thought, "They've got some really cool stuff, like the coffee table that's a refrigerator too," I was planning on buying one, but wanted to see how the 1st purchase went. Knowing now 'how' they do business, I'm NEVER buying anything from them ever again. Their website said nothing about me having to wait forever for what I ALREADY PAID FOR.

    I made several mistakes by ordering from Touch of Modern. I know better than to order from a site where I can't return the item, and I should not have submitted the order when I saw how much the shipping was--it would have been cheaper to have ordered it on Amazon with the free shipping. But at Christmas time we are in a hurry, and we are looking for good prices, so we are easily scammed--at least I was. This was the most expensive gift I bought this year. It was supposed to be an elegant gift for my elegant daughter-in-law, who as an entrepreneur herself, knows how important packaging and presentation are. But I had to give her a gift with a completely mangled and torn box. The carton it came in was in pristine condition, which means that the box was torn up when they packed it into the carton. They sent it to me that way on purpose. I will not ever buy anything from them again.

    I have bought items from Touch of Modern and the quality of product is inferior quality plus you cannot return the item on most products. Shoes are terrible quality, other products are cheap made in India, China, Turkey etc. The item takes months to deliver. The customer service is pretty bad. The photographs on the website is very deceptive. Don’t fall for it. In this day and age items cannot be returned is crazy. On few items they give you store credit which is useless.

    On December 14, 2019, we ordered two items from Touch Of Modern. We saw their advertisement on TV. So we ordered 2 gifts for our boys for Christmas. We paid extra to have it delivered by Christmas, however when we received confirmation, only one item was scheduled to be delivered prior to Christmas. The item that was scheduled to come before Christmas will not arrive until after Christmas. The other item showed on the confirmation that it would not be delivered for 3-5 weeks.

    We tried to cancel that item immediately after receiving the confirmation that it would not arrive before Christmas, but were told all sales are final, which was NOT shown under that item, they would not cancel the order, and would not be refunding our expedited fee. After repeated additional attempts to contact them, no response has been forthcoming, and they do NOT accept phone calls for customer service. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! I have a feeling we will not be getting either of our items.

    Ordered a Wallity Beach Escape LED Lighted Canvas. What I saw on the website vs. what was received was like night and day. The actual canvas is low quality and the LED lights do not light up the picture as shown on the website (only light up the edge of the frame). The worst part is the "all sales are final" policy.     I ordered the Moon Backlit Canvas Art piece. It was a tad smaller than I expected but that’s fine. The dimensions were available for me to review. I was so excited to place this in my office. However, when I placed a brand new Duracell 9V battery in the back of the art piece to power the LED lighting, only one side of the lights worked.

    When lit it is so obvious that the entire LED strand is not working. It’s not even worth having the lights on it, which was the only reason I purchased it. No option to return, no way to find out what the issue could be..nothing!! I’ll have to find a way to fix it myself which is frustrating.... If I wanted to do that I could have bought a regular canvas painting. Poor first experience!

    I've purchased several items from ToM, from under $10 to $500 and am always happy when they arrive. It's not always as great of a deal as expected due to shipping costs, but more often than not, I get a better deal than Amazon or other websites. They even carry things I want from other countries and don't charge the import tax! However, you need to check the shipping time before you order. Sometimes it will say 3-5 weeks and so you need to expect to wait. Usually it comes on the early side of the time frame as opposed to the late side. I don't understand all the negative reviews, if you read, then you'll know the shipping time.

    I should have read the reviews before purchasing anything.... Hopefully this will help someone BEFORE they get scammed. Bought multiple items for Christmas gifts several weeks before December 25th. We were led to believe that we would receive these gifts before Christmas. Several days after the order, I get an E Mail stating that they will be delivered in 3-5 weeks. As you can imagine, Christmas gifts coming in January isn't very practical. I E-Mailed them and said that if I could not get the items before Christmas, please cancel my order. Of course they can't do that. I would suggest using their website to get some ideas, then go online and buy them somewhere else!! You can usually find them cheaper, and I'm sure with someone who would be more reputable than these crooks!

    I order earbuds on Nov 9th. When I placed the order there was no notion about the item not in stock. After I paid for it in full with excessive shipping cost ($25.00) which I try to dispute and got some generic reply, I got a confirmation that item is back order and will be shipped within 2-3 weeks. Once 4 week passed by, I tried to check my order status on their website but saw no indication about delivery date.

    This was the reply I got to my email "Thank you for contacting us at Touch of Modern. I am truly sorry for the delay in your shipment. We are working hard to get these items in our warehouse as soon as possible. Once your item arrives in our warehouse, it will typically ship out within 24 hours. We will also send you an email confirmation with your tracking number as soon as your item has shipped out. Thank you so much for your patience here!" I'm sure that this is an automatic respond by a bot. (it took less than a minute after I sent my email). I gave up and got my money back. To their credit, I must add that communication is fast and so was the refund. I don't think I will do any business with them anymore.

    I seriously have no idea why there are so many negative reviews for this company... It's baffling to me. I have now been ordering things from Touch Of Modern for about 18 months and have received every single item I have ordered (except one which I will get to in a minute)... And to be clear, I have ordered everything from Scrabble board games, to knife sets, to a Patek Philippe watch! So, firstly to the complaints about time to deliver, yes, everything takes a long time to deliver, but they say that on the item so I'm a little confused why people would complain about it. If you don't want to wait 3 weeks+ for an item to be delivered then don't order an item which says 3 weeks+ to deliver. Odd.

    Now onto the items themselves. I am absolutely genuine and I have now ordered over 100k worth of watches from TOM- a Patek as mentioned, two A. Langes, Rolex, IWC etc. Every single watch has been exactly as described... Except one... A Panerai Daylight I ordered which I didn't actually take delivery of. The reason I didn't, because they contacted me beforehand to let me know that the item did not come with box and papers as listed. I told them I therefore did not want it given the price. It did take a little while (maybe 3 weeks), but I did get a refund, in full. Again, I can't really complain about that at all. And to finish off this review I would like to point out one last thing, my last delivery came with a note from the owner thanking me and a free gift (watch winder) to use with my new purchases. Sorry, but how can this be considered a bad company. Excellent every time!

    Scammers -- I ordered some men's shoe carriers and received children's toys instead. Tried for days to rectify this and get some action - after finally sending photos of the toys and my invoice/order form they responded that I would receive the original ordered products in one business day via Fed Ex -- that was on December 6th. It's December 10th and I am tracking the supposed Fed Ex delivery slated for 12/14 (hardly a one day delivery). They said they will send me a packing slip to ship back the children's toys!! Poor service, terrible communication and simply not worth the aggravation to deal with this company.

    God awful. Do not confuse the great products offered by TOM with the actual manufacturer. While these products are awesome, TOM is not a great wholesaler. Your better off Googling the product and buying another way I.e Amazon. You will not get your products for Xmas. Horribly managed company that’s just after your buck with absolutely no benefits to the consumer. Again you won’t get your product for Xmas.

    I used to be a staunch supporter of TOM buying regularly from their online site but about a year ago I noticed the prices in general rising higher than Amazon or other online stores. For example today (Dec5-2019) they have a bidet seat on TOM for $419.99 = $30 shipping Alpa JX BIDET SEAT. The same seat on Amazon is just $391.20 free shipping with Prime a $58.79 savings. TOM quote 2-3 week before shipping, Amazon 2 days. Most items are now non returnable. Another issue is their Damascus knives. On the surface they look great but read the fine print as they state the finish is Damascus not the material (does that mean etch on finish, I asked the question and received no reply?).

    Again today they have JACK WILLIAMS Timeless Leather + Shearling Jackets but when you look at the sizes they are using different methods to size the jackets which are all made by JackWilliams via Turkey some are using the small medium lager sizes some are using the 50.52,54, 56 size charts. How is one supposed to trust these jacket sizes then wait 4 weeks for delivery only to return the item and find it no longer available for a replacement? My advice find another company to order from!

    Great items on display, however very unresponsive customer support and takes months to try to get a refund. The item shipped to me was clearly used even though it said it was as new. I’m still fighting to get a refund for a watch I bought for a few hundred dollars. The item came in defective and they asked me to ship it back which I did several weeks ago. Still no refund.     Do not be fooled by to cool video. Brightness is bad, magnets are weak, resolution is marginal for this price. Buy an iPad or another 200 dollars monitor and be happy. It's worth 50 dollars at best. I would much rather spend more money for something that meets a normal persons needs. This is NOT that!!!

    I started to see a number of items after discovering a Touch of Modern. But as I began to start to order a window washing machine, I saw that it was listed as all sales final. No returns. As I continued to view other things I saw the same. No returns. I ordered a men's bracelet for my nephew's birthday. 1 week later I received a notice stating it would not ship for another 3 weeks.     I ordered some noise-canceling headphones in them which they charge me over $500. When I receive them they did not work at all and trying to return them only to be give me the cold shoulder. After four months of trying to get a return for my money I spent from them, I finally took them to small claims court. I won a judgment against them for the 500+ dollars along with court costs. It’s been three months and they still have not paid court-ordered judgment. They Are CROOKS.

    They are robbers. Their prices are super high. Their shipments are super delayed. If you return something they do not put the money back in your account. They only give you credit and if you do not use it in the time they give you you lose it too. Items such as sunglasses and reading glasses cannot be returned.

    I gave TOM 4 stars solely for the price of a dress shirt I ordered and the fast shipping time I didn't expect. However, there was a note stating I "saved" $98.00 on a shirt I paid $20.00 for, I went directly to the web site of the brand name on the shirt and they sell it for $59.00!!! Don't get me wrong the shirt is great for the price I paid the quality, looks and fit, BUT definitely recommend you due your research on pricing before buying from TOM, their mark up is HUGE!!

    I have purchased a number of things from this company. Never once had to complain. Then I order this ring, after using the sizing guide they provide, which turned out to be wholly erroneous. Way off! So, when the ring does not fit, I contact them. Too bad, so sad, I am told. I point out that I have spent literally thousands of dollars with them and that I don't want my $97 back, I just want a ring that fits. Nope. "Unable" to help me with that. Huh? Seriously. Now, I have ordered items that cost several thousands from them (watches) and items that cost just a few bucks. But with that kind of attitude, I won't ever order another thing from them.     Here’s why, after being a steadfast customer for 4 years, I regret to say, TOM has lost my business. I like to buy stuff. Neat, cool, cutting edge things. And TOM used to specialize in that. Not so much anymore, but this isn’t the reason I’m leaving. I recently made a purchase for about $90. Typically my purchases run north of $100. I bought 4 t-shirts and something else. As with everything I’ve ever bought from TOM, it took FOREVER to get my order. To be fair, I’m used to this from them, and again not the reason they’ve lost my business.

    My order came in pieces (not actual broken pieces like my last TOM order—again not enough to lose my business—in this case they were 4 variations of the same shirt, so I’m not really sure why they came in separate packages), and the first thing to arrive was one of the t-shirts. I was very excited, tore open the package and tried it on.

    It was WAY too small and didn’t feel nearly as nice as it seemed it would be based on the listing. Having made a lot of clothing purchases online over the years, not a big deal. It happens. Knowing that there were 3 more shirts on their way of exactly the same size and cut, I proactively reached out to cancel my order. Their response seemed… interesting. "Unfortunately, it looks like this order has already been processed and it's currently on it's way to you. No worries! Once you've received the order you can reach back out to us and I can assist you in returning this item for a store credit. Please let me know if this works out for you. We look forward to your response.”

    Okay, while maybe not how I would handle this (seems like a waste), I can handle this. So fast-forward a few days, and the shirts come in. Unfortunately, I’m out of town and can’t email them or return. But do so when I get back. They say the shirts arrived on July 17. Because I was away, I reached out to learn how to return them on July 25—NINE DAYS LATER. Their response? "I am so sorry that these items do not meet your satisfaction. Upon reviewing your order, it looks like these items arrived between June 18th and July 17th and they are outside the return policy. Return policies are listed in the details of each product page. Please review the pages you placed your order through the links below:”

    Their return policy is SEVEN days. Even though I proactively reached out, they are doing nothing. Finally, to add insult to injury, when I tried to leave a note about my customer experience, I was told I couldn’t because the issue had been “closed” immediately after the experience. Anyway. Enough’s enough. When TOM started, they only featured cool stuff I couldn’t find elsewhere. Now, the stuff can be found anywhere else, and the difference in price isn’t worth it. Things come broken, or not as high quality as used to be, and this latest experience just shoved me right over the edge. And they no longer go to bat for their customers. Perhaps someday they’ll get back to their roots, but in the meantime, I’ll find another outlet to feed my need for cool stuff.

    I placed an order for shoes on 6/18/19. The advertisement clearly indicates 2-3 weeks for shipping. Even assuming the products are not in stock in their physical location, this is quite some lead time. Understanding this, I placed the order anyways. I patiently wait until 7/15/19 to check the order status. The item not only has not been shipped, but the status is "PO Sent." They have not even begun any meaningful process to fulfill my order after 4 weeks. I send an inquiry re: status and the response I receive from a Chelsea at Touch of Modern is that the order is "being processed in the warehouse."

    I wait until 7/18/19 to check the order status again for any updates. Nothing has changed. I send another request asking for a meaningful update. Other than a computer generated response, my email was ignored. I wait further until 7/22/19, and of course, no change in the order status. By now, there have been other department store sales that I have passed up on because I was waiting on these shoes. I emailed again letting Touch of Modern know that my previous email was ignored, and as of 7/24/19, no response.

    I've ordered from Touch of Modern before, and back when they started, they were fine. Slow to ship, but I received my items. Lately, the quality of the products they sell have been terrible, and their customer service practices is beyond terrible. If you like to give a free loan to a company without any expectation of receiving your merchandise/products, this is the vendor for you! Stay away!

    With TOM, read the FINE PRINTS! They may have an interesting range of products but they are nothing but a mouthpiece for products they don't stock (at least most of it). I have had 2 bad experiences with them. One was an order for a signed autographed poster which they had advertised comes with frame. But when I got it, there was no frame and insisted I had ordered it wrongly (ordered the option without frame) but I showed them a screenshot which did not show there were two options (with and without frame) that was offered.

    Cut a long story short, I gave up and bought a frame from Michaels and made it myself. Second time was when I ordered a watch for my wife. I had ordered it 2 weeks in advance to the date I had planned to give it to her to only realize after a few days of inactive movement on my order did they come back to me and said that the fulfillment period is 2-3 weeks and they don't hold stocks and it is being fulfilled by a 3rd party vendor. Asked them for help since how difficult can it be to box a watch up and send it out. But I guess their supplier doesn't have the stock too and have to order it up the ladder....TBC.

    I ordered a Map of the World as a gift for my daughter and her husband. It took almost 3 weeks to arrive and although was in a tube, when it was unrolled, the sides of the plastic coating were torn. I was able to get a refund for the product after several emails to and from the company. I also ordered a Myhotmat Connect before ordering the map, and it just arrived (22 days after my order was placed and my credit card charged). It, too, was broken. The inside product box looked like someone had sat on it or like something heavy was placed on it as it was dented and blackened. The door to the power button was also broken and was lying loose in the packaging. The part that was broken was also in the packaging, but the door should have been attached and was not.

    I am now trying to get a refund from the company, rather than a store credit that they offered, as I have no intention to buy anything else from this company. Though their customer service has been responsive, I believe that the products I purchased were not new and because they both were damaged, I don't want to do business with them in the future.

    I purchased two pairs of hiking style shoes. The sizes were way off, so I opted to send them back. They give you one lousy week to send back an item and no money return. I paid the shipping and sent them back to the address they were shipped from. The morons told me they can’t find the shoes so I don't even get in house credit.     I used to visit ToMo religiously, until I realized that their prices often weren't better than what was available on Amazon, who has infinitely better customer service + shipping time. The best thing to do is to use it as a "Pinterest board" and then go and find the product elsewhere to purchase. Also, hopefully you won't be required to deal with their customer service, because it's horrific. They don't stand behind their product and you'll often end up incurring additional costs.

    Their size charts don't reflect the actual size of the clothes. You will get random sizes. Some of them are too long, loose, or tight. I tried to get a refund for the clothes that didn't match the sizes but they only gave me store credit. They said they are not able to give me a refund.     I ordered the versatile charger on April 19th from Touch of Modern (TOM). I feel that their shipping policy is extreme. Telling a customer that the item being ordered will ship in 3 -5 weeks from the order date is outrageous, and after waiting for the item to be shipped and delivered, there is no return is ridiculous. If the items are not in the US and this is the reason for the 3-5-week ship, the customer should be made aware of that. This could also be the reason why there is no return.

    After ordering the item mentioned above, about two weeks later I started receiving emails from the FedEx Manager and each day for a week the FedEx tracking stated that it would be delivered by 8 pm. I am familiar with the location of TOM, and a customer shouldn’t have to wait 3-5 weeks before an item is shipped only for it to take another week to receive a package once a shipping company such as FedEx to deliver it to a location that is only 216 miles away from TOM.

    I do not anticipate ordering from Touch of Modern in the future. Most of the items I have ordered can be found on Amazon, and they are returnable. The items on Amazon may cost a little more, but it’s worth it to eliminate the shipping frustration and getting stuck with an item that does not meet your expectations. Great innovative products, but poor shipping and return policies.

    Prior to signing with TOM I managed a clean and effective private email account that was used purely for important matters and online purchases. Never did I give it to advertisers etc. I had pretty much a zero junk email problem. Gave my email to TOM as its a members only website and I figured I could opt out of anything I didn't want/need. I now receive 200+ junk emails a day most of which I have managed to block but still 10-20 get through to my personal inbox. Took a look round the site prior to the email issue and saw nothing on there would deem exclusive, exotic or unable to be procured from eBay or Amazon.     I placed an order for two knives February 14th, 2019. It is now April 19th, 2019. I still have received no product that I have almost $400 spent on. Spoke to customer service five or six times. Items were suppose to ship on April 4th. When I call customer service they state that one is coming tomorrow which was a week ago, and the other knife which was listed as American-made has not been shipped from Pakistan yet.     I ordered this Hippie NANO as a gift with the description titling it as a Vape.     I ordered 2 sets of bed in a bag - one full and one twin. When they finally arrived, each set fit in the exact same sized box. I cannot believe how they fit a full size comforter plus sheets, pillow cases, skirt, etc in a 17" x 9.5" box. They are complete junk. I would never recommend buying. SOOO many items are only refundable for store credit, stores that really don't have much to offer & their final sale items, no matter how expensive they are WILL NOT BE RETURNED, ever!     I’ve bought several things from Touch of Modern that have either arrived broken or have shown up as an incomplete order. Though it sounds completely trivial to me, I ordered 2 candles with a wide square base. They were supposed to come with trays to sit them in when burning. No trays. Ok. So I ask for the trays and at this point have been told about four different things. The weird thing is when corresponding with customer service the emails just stop on their end. I write, "Can someone tell me what’s going on?" And I get an email back saying the complaint was funneled into my first original complaint.

    I then try and write back again (and this is over 2 weeks time), I’ve found out that they have turned my customer support ability OFF on my account. Lol. They’ve basically given up trying to help me. I just wanted an answer. Maybe I should’ve just called. Ya know the feeling of texting someone, you know they have received the text, but they ignore you?? Yea. That!! We live in a different time I guess.

Also, they are just up-selling you on items they purchase from other vendors. You can Google search anything they are selling and almost always find it for cheaper.     The items you purchase may take up to 2 months to deliver. If you change your mind, even after one minute of placing an order, you will not be able to cancel - even though the product wont ship in next 30 days. None of the advertised sizes fit as described and I ended up returning almost everything. It takes them FOREVER to process the return. Meanwhile, the product you are interspersed in is sold out and you cant simply use your credit for a larger or smaller size. No, when finally get your credit, you are back on square one. You must find another piece of clothing and pray it will fit. Other way around you find yourself in this vicious cycle that never ends!

    PS - Even though the product was received by their staff member I was still not offered a store credit (they dont believe in refunds). I tried contacting customer service which turned out being glorified voicemail box, saying "we cant be reached at the moment - please leave a message". Emailing customer service wont get you to closer to the answers either. Check Google pricing on every item before buying it here. Pricing is the same.

    Ordering from TOM is fairly straightforward. Shipping time is not. Apparently they don’t carry inventory in their California warehouse. Pretty confident that all items are drop shipped from China. Took over 6 weeks for item to arrive. When it did arrive; it was missing a proprietary charging cord. I contacted customer service via email and was told they don’t have the cords. I would have to contact the manufacturer. Several more attempts with customer service and I virtually gave up. Then I received an email stating that the manufacturer had sent a replacement. Again; tracking was virtually useless. Finally; I receive a notice saying I have a registered parcel at the post office that requires a signature. I drive 7 miles to the post office to pick it up. Inside was the charging cord! Took a long time but they did follow up.

    The first mistake is using DHL post as their shipping agent. DHL is notorious for slow service. My order languished in one location for four days before moving forward. I ordered on December 21 and the projected delivery has now been moved to January 7. That’s completely unacceptable. I live in Missouri and could have easily driven to California and picked up the item in that time. I believe TOM never actually has any inventory and orders from the manufacturer then dropships the product. No longer a customer of Touch of Modern!

    Touch of Rip-Off? Seriously, I have read that the business model is to market to young rich men? Also the claim is that they are very successful with milestones about reaching one million dollars per day in sales. What else, their target market is rich Millennials. Seriously, I think this team thinks we are stupid? I am not a Millennial, I am an older 50 year old man but I like new and interesting things for the best price possible. I guess their target market doesn't do comparison shopping and just stupidly buys products that are overpriced on purpose? For instance “TOM” is selling right now (the most current sale) Dom Perignon 2009 Gift Pack//2 Bottles + 6 Champagne Glasses for $500 with shipping and taxes. But, one can go to their local COSTCO and buy the exact same product for $258. I kid you not! I mean literally less than half the price if you just walk 5 minutes past the headqtrs. of TOM to 450 10TH ST. SAN FRANCISCO.

    You feel bad when you get duped like this. Another example is I wanted to buy the Armand Nicolet LO9 watch titanium that they promoted for $3,999.00, then they jack up the retail price artificially and try to fool you that they have a special deal for you, when with a bit of Google searching you find the same LO9 at Ashford.com watch for shockingly $1999, half the price!! I did buy it and they gave me free shipping without the two month delivery, seriously? How stupid are we? Another example is I almost bought a Gevril Avenue of the Americas watch from TOM and with a Google search find the exact watch for 30% less at Needless Markup's lastcall.com. Oh come on guys, you think we are stupid?

    Then I almost bought a Rado DiaMaster watch Grande Seconde Automatic. TOM's price is $1499. Yes you guessed it, another Google search and I find the exact same watch for $999 a whopping 50% less! Seriously I was led to believe that TOM finds high end luxury products for the best price. NOT TRUE. I can go on, and on and on with more examples but I think the most egregious Touch of rip-off was I got caught up in the delusion, by the way my hats off to TOM as they are very good with the photography and maintaining the jacked up MSRP deluding you into believing that you are getting a great deal.

    I did purchase from TOM a beautiful handmade wool rug Kashkuli Gabbeh, which was so gorgeous for $1296 with a charge for shipping, 8ft by 10ft, just amazing. I thought because they posted the fake retail as close $4,000, I thought I was getting a deal. A couple of days later something came over me and you guessed it? I found the exact same had made rug down to the last hand knotted wool thread for only $500 including free shipping and no tax. I cancelled the rug from TOM which they did quickly cancel the item and put the charge back on my card right away. I did purchase the cheaper rug and it came on time, and it was even in another country, no 2 month delay like TOM. I mean I am talking about some serious COGNITIVE DISSONANCE!

    From my personal opinion and experience, I would not ever buy a pre-owned watch at TOM. I tried and their customer chat service referred me to a website with a PIC of Central Park in New York City with the tel. number in tiny print to the far right lower corner. I called the number and the woman told me I can only ask questions about the CORUM that I was interested in by e-mail. No pics can be offered of the back of the product or the wear on the band of the product. Seriously? And that at the moment the representative was off for Hanukah. TOM doesn't even grade the condition of the watch. For instance from what I have experienced, other reputable dealers of watches with have different grades such as, Mint, Excellent, and Very Good, for example.

    What I have written has been from my own personal experience and research. So truly buyers should beware as they have the no refund policy on most of their products. Well, I do have to compliment the TOM team for the beautiful website and the PICS that just pop out at you. As an active angel investor in many startups I am a bit worried for the foolish VCs that got stuck in this deal. I don't see how this can be sustained long term with the non-competitive pricing that TOM maintains.

    Ordered multiple items from this company as gifts for a Christmas gathering. Every single item had the shipping dates changed after the order was placed. Some extended by as much as three to four weeks later. I showed up to the gathering almost completely empty-handed. The one item I've even received so far, as none of the others have even arrived, was nothing special. Great write-ups on the products, but neither the price nor the quality is special whatsoever. Couple that with their false shipping promises, and I wouldn't be ordering from them again. However, the worst part is the customer service.

    I contacted them twice about the shipping changes. The first response was simply the shipping details repeated to me, that were exactly the same as the shipping link provided already, with no explanation as to why it was changed or even an apology for the trouble. The second exchange, where I let them know how unacceptable I found the experience to be, and that I would not have anything positive to say about them to anyone, was met with a smiley face, a promise to let everyone at the company know my feelings, and a wish for a merry Christmas. Just a scam operation, top to bottom. I wish I'd checked this site before ever ordering from them.

    ToM has lots of neat things. There's a couple things you need to be mindful of when you're considering a purchase from them though. First, I didn't notice any real "bargains" for items I was interested in. Hard to find/unique items will cost you. Second, there are few items that are returnable. Be sure to read everything in the ad. Generally, if you're not sure you'll like an object or what size you should get, don't get it unless losing money is not a concern. It's buyer beware.

    I ORDERED A Gaggia Babila worth $1400, received a Gaggia Classic that can be bought for $375. Attempts to contact customer service were futile, both online and texts. This seems to be a scam. Stay far away from Touch of Modern.

    Do not use Touch of Modern!!! It is a scam. This is the second time I've had an issue with this company. The first time I ordered an Awair air monitor and it arrived used. The power cord was just thrown in the box and the instructions were missing. At first, it was just a mistake from Awair, and that company quickly sent me a new monitor. This time I ordered a watch, a big part of Touch of Modern's business. Not only did the "package" arrive a week late, but I was shocked to find a bubble wrap envelope that had been torn open and then resealed with a couple pieces of tape. There was a sticker on the front saying Damaged, but instead of initials, it just had "USPS" handwritten. When I looked up USPS damaged stickers, it did not match. Inside, all I found was the invoice.

    Wait a minute, USPS? I have a FedEx tracking #. Yep, as others have mentioned, they used Smart Saver. So, to summarize so far, "someone" has my watch and forwarded a basically empty torn envelope to my house. How is it that this even got delivered like this? I try calling TOMO's customer service, only to hear a couple of clicks and then be told they are too busy and I need to leave a message. BS! That means there is no customer service department because they're too cheap to hire one. Thank God my credit card has one, and they know how to take care of their customers. And one more thing, who the hell ships a watch in an envelope anyways? Was there ever a watch in there to begin with? I don't think so.

    I was a good customer of Touch of Modern but when I wanted to unsubscribe from their mailing list I soon found that it was impossible. No matter how many times I tried to get off their mailing list it was to no avail. It seems to me that this policy can potentially lose thousands of customers. I, for one, will NEVER purchase anything from them ever again.

    First, you will wait just under 2 months for your purchase to arrive. They charge A LOT for shipping but then ship it to you via FedEx smart post, which is one of the cheapest and slowest methods available. My product arrived damaged, of course. I’m my opinion, they really didn’t care. Be advised, order off Amazon or another website. This one is a scam!

    I purchased a watch from Touch of Modern. It arrived with a broken crown so I could not adjust the time or the date. It had completely come out of the watch when I went to adjust it! I called them and asked them to exchange it. They said to call the manufacturer. That they do not handle these issues. Which would be acceptable if I had the watch for a period of time but the crown came out when I went to adjust the time right of the box! They are the only vendor I have used in years that completely avoids responsibility for the products they sell.

    I order a Funko pop figure of Stan Lee from Guardians of the Galaxy, which is a limited edition Funko Pop. It was autographed by Stan Lee himself on the box and at some point before shipping me this item it was severely damaged. This is irreplaceable. Even a refund won't buy the product I ordered stated new condition and the signed box is damaged!!! I could replace the figure, but not the box that I paid for the autograph of. It was put in a plastic protector before shipping it out. That means (especially with the extra protection and the case it couldn't have been damaged after being put into Funko Pop protector because protector would have severe damage!!!

    The shopping experience was fairly straightforward. Other than that, I was really disappointed with my experience with this company. I ordered a device to correct my bunion and it was basically two pieces of flimsy plastic and a small piece of velcro. Took way too long to ship product and quality was extremely poor. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

    It was easy to use the website to place an order. They have plenty of colors and a variety of good quality products to choose from and they last a long time. Good value for the price of the products and convenient to get right to your home. But they should have more allergy free stuff and more of a variety of products and offer better packaging on them. Also, time to receive the packages should be quicker and have a time frame of less than a week. They should have a free demo product in every kit too and offer more free gifts when spending more money on a item or incentives like buy one get one free. But overall I am pretty happy about Touch of Modern. They seem to have good reviews from customers and the contact number is easily found. Get a money back refund if not happy with any of the products purchased anytime and usually in stock and shipped right away.

    I was looking for a one of a kind gift to purchase when I ran into this site. I purchased the West Coast Firepit and it's absolutely gorgeous and such a perfect gift for a man. I like that I can find one of a kind new items that I cannot get anywhere else. I like that their website is simple and clean looking. It's very easy to navigate.     I like that this amazing company is easy to use and it delivers boxes very fast. It got what it takes to be a good company and compared this company with others, it is one of the best. However, sometimes this website does not have on the stock the product that I need. And sometimes the website is complicated to use, but then I can get used easily.     They have fast shipping and reliable products. Their products are high-quality and very well worth the prices that I pay for them. Easy searches for products as well. I wish their descriptions and user comments as reviews would be more relatable. I dislike trying to use their shopping cart feature. More pictures are needed of their products to get a better idea of what they look like.     I like how easy it is to find what you need at good prices. The website had very unique design, felt very welcoming. They had basic and advance searches for products. But there should be more online support and an online chat with a professional of the company if you have any questions or concerns they could help with in a timely manner.     The Touch of Modern website is easy to navigate and the search function is fairly intuitive. The color scheme design on the website is pleasing and the aesthetics match the products. I find the process to be high for what the product is and it would be nice if it were a bit cheaper and gave more incentive to shop online. Also, shipping prices seemed really high and I could get a better deal using another service like eBay. Overall it was a good experience, but it will not be a regular occurrence for me.

    I really enjoyed shopping with them. The website seemed easy to control and navigate, products are organized well, the delivery was very accurate, and the time and waiting process wasn't as long as expected. They were very polite and I enjoyed ordering with them. The carrier service wasn't the best because it wasn't delivered to my hands and it was left in the building but I don't mind because it isn't website's fault. Maybe they should change their partners. Overall experience with this company is very pleasant and I am definitely satisfied.     They make adding up costs so easy, plus they have a wide variety of products that are up to todays standards. Not only that, they have different varieties of each product. This site takes moving toward the future to a whole different level. The site could use more colorful backgrounds though. Having a colorful website makes shopping with it a bit more fun, as well as fun/creative fonts and such. I also would love to see an interactive chat feature to work with a person to get the best possible purchase. The products are high quality, well worth what I paid for them.     I like Touch of Modern because it has very classy fashion apparel for men which I find to be very good. They have really great prices and they ship things really fast to your home. However, some of their prices are sometimes really expensive. I also think they could improve on their website designs and navagational areas. It is sometimes too cluttered and not attractive. On the other hand, they have great customer service when having problems with returns or product problems and I receive my items on a very timely basis which is wonderful.
