Touch of Modern is a complete scam. They do not pay their vendors for the products after the items are shipped and then delay customer shipments (or do not ship at all) significantly. STAY AWAY FROM THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY!

Touch of Modern has become a big RIPOFF! I have 3 pending orders dating back to 4 months ago. I keep getting computer generated emails stating that they will give me 10% off of the shipping cost, but they can't give me the status of my orders!! When I checked personally, my are orders are stuck in shipping in 3-4 week holding pattern! IT'S BEEN LIKE THAT FOR 3 MONTHS NOW!! After further research, I find that, Touch of Modern haven't been paying their vendors. . . But, they will take people's money, but, they give them the runaround when it comes to providing information on the items that they've purchased! They treat people like they're stupid when they inquire about the items they have purchased!!

I ordered a Gevril Vanderbilt Swiss Automatic watch on 5/27/2024. Order #**. The payment of $455.83. Please see enclosed receipt attachment. I have never received the watch, I emailed TOMO customer support, they replied only one time to look into the watch I ordered but I have never heard back from them after I emailed them many, many times. They ignored my emails and I don't know their phone to contact. I even asked them for a refund if they can't deliver the watch order I purchased but I heard nothing till now.
I will contact a lawyer to proceed and prosecute this scam activity which I believe many customers who purchased products from TOMO have experienced these same scams. This is a serious business conduct that should be brought to customer reviews and avoid buying products from TOMO - A Scammer. Their business conduct must be fixed, and their business license must be abandoned.

After placing an order in February 2024, in August 2024, I received the news from TOM that "we have no other option but to cancel your order and submit a refund." This communication was sent after multiple excuses about the delay provided by TOM. The article was "scheduled" to be shipped 5-6 weeks after placing the order. In my case, this situation is very common. Good luck with your customer service relationship with this "company."

This company is not legit. Please do not support or buy from this company. This is scam. They are not paying their supplier and make up their stories when I connected to their buyer. Curtis ** or Fabian they are no longer work for this crooked.

I have been ordering from TOM for years and up to this point been pleased with them, but the delays are becoming longer and longer and you can't get a refund if they are later than stated. I think they should research their seller a little more closely and consider the customer more since if it wasn't for US they would not have a business.

I've been using TOM for about 13 or 14 years. Shipping has always been slow, but the last year has been horrible. April 18 2024 I placed an order for three items. Two are from one shipper and the third is from another shipper. All were supposed to ship in 2-3 weeks. As of July 31, 2024, I have nothing. I have had more than a dozen emails with them apologizing for the delay, refunding my shipping fee, and apologizing again. What I don't get is how these are from two different warehouses/shippers and both so delayed. This tells me it's an issue with TOM. I am now cancelling the order and will likely not buy from them anymore.

Placed an order April of this year and still have not received my product! They report back the same as everyone else stated, PO sent to vendor but no status update as to when it will ship. T.O.M. Customer service replied that they would offer me 10% of my order value for credit for something else! This is the biggest scam ever and how they are still in business makes no sense? Why haven't they been investigated, shut down, sued etc?! I hope people read the reviews before they make a purchase!

I ordered a watch on April 24 and I am still waiting on it to arrive. When ordered it was 1-2 week delivery. Over the years of using Touch of Modern their deliveries have gotten worst. The company has some ok stuff but really need to review their business model when it comes to shipping. When you expect a third party to ship a product and they don’t it impact your service and the trust of your customers.

Sadly, they do not pay their vendors which is why their customers never receive their products. They are active when it comes to setting up a flash sale event but when it comes to payment, they don't reply, and they ghost you. We've done business before and it use to be successful, ever since someone else bought the company a few years ago they got terrible at payment, and it almost feels like a scam. A scam for the vendor and a scam for the customer based on the comments I've read. But the truth is they don't own or make any of these products. They don't even have them handy so you're better off buying it from someone that is legit going to ship. Let's not support this kind of fishy business.

I placed an order on the 17th but luckily took a screenshot of the "Order complete" on my browser. Never got a confirmation email and reached out via email a few days later when I could see that my credit card was charged with the screenshot. I got a generic AI response back that did not answer or address any of my concerns.
I wrote back (mind you they don't have a live-person customer service phone line) to please address getting me an order number, and order status, a shipping update, tracking number anything! They email back that they are looking into it and then I get an email saying yes it did go through but still no order number, status update or tracking. I asked them specifically for them to send a receipt/order confirmation to my emails but they instead said it was sent to an email address that had THEIR domain name. I pointed this out to them and to please give me some insight and they have refused to answer and/or give me the run-around by deflecting my emails. Reported them to BBB and my bank as fraud.

I ordered a watch 2.5 months ago and have not received a thing. Not a phone call or email verifying when it will arrive. I have had to reach out 3 times to them which resulted in them saying they would credit my account for S/H. It never happened, big surprise. I specifically ordered this watch early so I could wear it to a family wedding. I have little hope it will arrive. If you can, avoid ordering from this company. The experience is not worth the hassle.

I’ve received emails for a while from this website and enjoy seeing the items they show. I recently wanted a new jacket and felt that I trusted the quality of the products this site from what they show all the time. I found a jacket that I liked from the images and I made the purchase. It took a while to receive especially when they said next day shipping. I received it yesterday and the quality is extremely disappointing. I purchased I peacoat from Amazon a few years back for $20 and I was amazed on that purchase but this doesn’t even compare to that purchase. $80 for something that today I found is sold for $8. They told me it was made in Ukraine and it is not. I expected some sort of vinyl for the faux leather straps because I didn’t expect leather so that standard was low and still wasn’t met. The straps are not even double stitched, I’ve seen linoleum floors more durable than the material they used. The jacket has no structure as you would think from the picture, it folds up like a dollar store blanket. Check out the pictures.

Made a purchase then Touch of Modern, sent nothing and kept the money. It'd be nice if they were shut down so others can't be hornswoggled. This company's business model focuses on preying on consumers and stealing from anyone that places an order. I bet they don't pay their employees or vendors.

TOUCH OF MODERN ARE THIEVES!! They take your order, they take your money, they do not meet ship dates and blame it on the "supplier". They take forever to respond to e-mails and when they do respond, the "English" is incomprehensible. STAY AWAY FROM TOUCH OF MODERN.

I am begging you to not order from this company. I submitted an order on December 4, 2023 and although I was immediately charged, I never received the items. To date, the tracking status is reflected as UPS is waiting to receive the items. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and was immediate told by Touch of Modern that they would do a refund but offered to immediately shipped the items and give a 10% discount if I gave them a chance. This was on January 15, 2024. To date, I've still not received the items and now they are stating that my BBB complaint is reflected as "Solved". No it's not, as the BBB reopened this case due to my not receiving my items.
In my opinion, this company is not reflected good business practices and is deceitful in its advertisement. You will be told that the items will ship within 2 - 4 weeks and then after that, you will repeatedly either be told that there is a slight delay or that the item will be shipped in 2-4 more weeks. I've been dealing with this going on 3 months. When I request the status of my order, I keep getting emails providing me with the tracking number. I have the tracking number. I wanted my order. Now I want a full refund and appear to continue to get the run-around. Don't do it!

Stay away from these con artists as they will try to rip you off at any moment. They offer credits to buy more products and when you try to use the product they say that it expired and read the fine print! They are very arrogant when you try to discuss the complaint with the consumer. The VC that backed these scum bags will lose their investment very quickly and there will be no exit strategy with dishonest people like this in the consumer retail space. Please beware of the tricks of the sleazy trade pretending to give credits for more purchases only to be told that they expire when you try to use them!

Ordered (# **) a solar powered stand Nov 25, 2023. Confirmation said it would ship by Dec. 30, 2023. it is now Feb 2024, no item received and no refund. The UPS tracking number they gave me ** has had no activity other than label printed since NOv. Emailed Touch of Modern's customer service, Miguel ** and Andrew T over 10 times, they said, "Sorry for delays, we had logistical issues, please give us more time," then finally they agreed to a refund. Well that was weeks ago, no refund given. Do not order from them unless you want to experience "Touch of Scam".

I made an online purchase with Touch of Modern on December 21, 2023. I was told that shipping might take 2-3 weeks which was acceptable to me. On December 5, 2023 I received an email that my items were being packed for shipment by the supplier. On December 20, 2023 I received an email that said a shipping label had been created. On December 29, 2023 the item had not been shipped despite being told that it was being packed and a label created. On January 3, 2024 I received an email informing me that they were experiencing some logistical delays and that the item would ship within two weeks.
Here we are at January 24, 2024 and no shipping has been forthcoming. Still only says label was created. They do not have a phone number that where calls are answered and you cannot leave a telephonic question, concern or complaint. CAVEAT EMPTOR BUYER BEWARE. This is a sham company that will take your money and never send the ordered item. I have turned this matter over to my bank and the State Attorney General.

What happened to TOMO? I've purchased from them several times in the past and only complaint was they wouldn't honor their price guarantee and shipping took a while. This time was different. I ordered a cabinet 6 months ago and it only ever got as far as "a shipping label has been created" I've been communicating with them via the app with Louis trying to get some resolution for several months and when I mentioned Consumer Protection Agency, they deleted my purchase history and account. So, now if I try to send a message I just get a message back saying I have to log into my account; which they deleted. I'm going to file a claim with PayPal so hopefully I'm covered.

I ordered a laptop stand in November as a Christmas present. I understood it said 3 to 4 weeks for it to be shipped and mailed. We are now into January and I have yet to have it shipped. When I inquire about it, they do get back to me right away and say we’re looking into it. They give no update other than we’re looking into it. The item is already paid for and they cannot give me an answer as to whether or not they will mail it to me. I’ve asked them for either a refund or have the item mailed to me as promised. I have nothing and I’ve been scammed out of $200 US. Run away from this company. Do not use them and get scammed like I’ve been.

This company has HORRIBLE customer service. I made a purchase that afterwards I decided to cancel. It takes days to get a response. I'm still waiting for my refund...I had to file a dispute with my credit card company. Additionally, I found that their products can be purchased on Amazon or eBay for the SAME or less in price and you will receive the item in less than a week as opposed to 5-8 weeks. Do not be lured into the fancy advertising. Very disappointing.

I ordered a watch from them in August of 2023. They said they ship in 4-5 weeks which I was ok with. It has been 4 months and I am yet to get the watch I paid for. I have a feeling they oversold and now are offering to give me my money back. I don’t want the money, I want my watch.

Over 4 weeks ago, I purchased a watch from the App. For over two weeks the App has not worked and when I go on the website the order tab continues to say that the watch will be delivered within 2-3 weeks. Years ago, I purchased products from ToMo and never had an issue. Today, I am very disappointed and believe that this service has become a Scam. You cannot reach a human being and no legitimate service has a broken phone app for 2 weeks. Completely unacceptable. My next step is to contact my credit card company and cancel the charge.

So I ordered an iWatch band in May 2023 and was told it would ship in 2-4 weeks. That was 5 months ago and I've contacted their customer service department several times requesting a refund. They have refused to refund me and one response was that I received the band already which I replied that they are wrong and their own website still shows the status as "PO Received" since May. No response after that so I contacted their customer service again and this time a different person emailed me saying the product was already shipped so they couldn't refund. I again responded and pointed out that the status of my order still shows PO received so it clearly hasn't been shipped yet. They didn't respond to that email either. They are crooks, this business is a scam and it appears I am out my money now.

Really disappointed with Touch of Modern customer service. Ordered a watch from them this summer 2 months later I cannot get an answer if the watch can be delivered. One e-mail offered me a refund, but the refund never materialized. Seems that their customer service is a bunch of pre printed responses and seems like you never contact a real person. What’s more disappointing is that I have ordered for years with little or no trouble and consider touch of modern as a good dealer. This instance has certainly changed my opinion on this company.

Touch of Modern's business model is a full on SCAM and here is how it works: Touch of Modern's website is very slick, flashy and user friendly. The Website advertises high-end products at seemingly reasonable prices. However, upon placing your order, the site immediately draws the payment from your credit card and gives the customer a vaguely extended delivery time-frame with the excuse that Touch of Modern has to depend on the vendor's availability of stock and ability and willingness to ship the items in a timely manner.
So, in essence, Touch of Modern is taking in potentially millions of dollars from innocent customers without them actually having any merchandise to sell. Because they forewarn customers that delivery can take weeks, they are able to put off shipping for months on end until the customer either gets tired of waiting or forgets about the purchase. Even allowing for the rare instances where Touch of Modern finally ships the merchandise months later to the few customers who persisted, Touch of Modern still makes out like a bandit because they are holding potentially millions of dollars of customers' funds for months at time without paying interest or giving those customers anything in return for their money.
Even in the best case scenario, where a customer is persistently on their case, delivery times average two months, which means that Touch of Modern is making millions of dollars just holding their customers' money for an extended period of time without shipping any merchandise or providing a service. Taking into account the thousands of people who will not pursue a refund because Touch of Modern DOESN'T ACCEPT CANCELLATIONS, the SCAM itself is potentially more profitable than actual sales. I ended up having to dispute multiple charges with my credit card. I have received some refunds, but I'm still working on a couple more because I WILL NOT ALLOW TOUCH OF MODERN TO RIP ME OFF! Touch of Modern already made enough profit just holding my money hostage for nearly six months.

The 1st issue was I ordered the 1st week of May thinking I’d get shirt sometime in June. I got it 1st week I’m AUGUST! Ordered a 2XL, I couldn’t pull the shirt close to button. I put the 2XL up next to a Small from same designer and the 2XL was only slightly bigger.

I ordered a clock from Touch of Modern. The item never arrived and when I try to find out where it is, I get a standard “some items are shipped directly from manufacturers and we don’t have a tracking number “ or no response at all. This place is a scam!! Don’t buy from them.

This place is a ripoff now. It was fine before. I ordered one watch almost 2 months ago and have not received the product. I also ordered another watch after the first one, and it was broken. I tried to contact support in order to get a replacement or refund, and was unable to contact anybody. This place is located in California, and the owners are Chinese and won't reply to you, except by sending an auto-reply form that doesn't do anything. So, basically they stole my money. I recommend to anyone to stay away from this company. I will report this company to the Better Business Bureau.
