I treated myself to Valentine's Sunflowers. The ordering process was easy. Once I had my tracking number I could track them from the farm to my front door. For mid-winter the quality was outstanding. They arrived partially closed. I watched the video provided and the next day they were fully opened. These will last two weeks minimum. I had to give them to a friend, I'm now allergic to sunflowers. She was so overwhelmed, as they are so beautiful. The price was right for the high quality sunflowers & farm to front door delivery.

I was suppose to receive flowers from my son & family to celebrate Valentine's Day (2/14/18). They did not get delivered until noon the following day. Not only did they arrive a day late, but they were of the poorest quality that I have ever received. The company's response was that a batch of orders from their farm had missed a pickup and so the order was affected. Also, that they understand oftentimes timing is as important as the flowers themselves and that they created a replacement for the following day. This just is not an appropriate response! My son & family tried very hard to make a special day for me since his father (my husband) has passed away. I would not recommend this company.

I ordered roses in a lava orange color. These came with their buds closed but they already had a scent from heaven. The photo on the website which in & of itself was gorgeous, still couldn't hold a candle to the actual bouquet. I hope someone buys my next floral gift from Bouqs & I'll most certainly be ordering from them again. These were the most vibrant, amazing, roses I'd ever seen & I'd recommend Bouqs to anyone over the other major floral services on the internet or in person... They'll never disappoint. Thanks Bouqs & to all who helped me with my order... Everything was wonderful.

I spent over $100 on a Valentine's bouquet for my wife. When the flower arrived, I could not believe how poor the quality and quantity was. Flowers were misshapen. The roses had large patches of brown rot on the petals. There were only three roses when the advertising picture had five and I paid for extra. I would have been better off buying flowers from a gas station. When I complained they offered me a $10 coupon as if I would ever buy anything from this rip off place again. I've never written a review of a place good or bad but this place is infuriating.

My husband sent me a deluxe Valentine's arrangement that cost $75 and they came wilting. Most of the flowers were severely dehydrated and the arrangement was very misleading. They were completely different from how they were pictured on the website. The 75$ arrangement only had 8 roses with crinkled edges and when we sent in a request to evaluate the situation, NO ONE RESPONDED. Just goes to show how they are setting themselves apart from everyone else without any professionalism.

$100 for tiny, broken, limp flowers. Same flowers would have been $20 at Trader Joe's. The vase that I paid $12 extra for was the chinciest, ugliest, no thought put into, maybe cost .50¢ POS I have ever seen delivered with flowers. Wife was obviously not impressed.

I had been checking out flower companies for my wedding and liked the online idea. An ad popped up for 'double the blooms" from The Bouqs so I decided to try them out as a special treat for my Fiancé's Birthday. They didn't have the ones I had wanted but the Santa Cruz looked beautiful and colorful. I choose that one. They arrived and looked so sad. They were tiny blossoms and almost all were a ivory or pale pink color. Hardly any color. There were hardly enough to fill my vase. I sent an email to customer service and was sent a canned prepopulated response about how to properly care for the flowers and that they would open up in a few days and to take a picture.
After a few days they started to wilt before that were even all full. I sent a picture to show that none of my complaints were resolved and all I got another canned, premade response along with a sentence about how I had in fact received the correct order. I am happy to have tried them out first before using them for my wedding. Lesson learned is to shop local and that "farm fresh" doesn't mean that they stand behind the product in any way. I'm glad I found this site and will now know to check the reviews first. They have no reviews on their site for a reason.

I ordered my stepmom flowers for her 75th bday. They showed up brown, dead and like half of petals off the bloom. We had ordered the deluxe version of the flowers and 4 roses showed up. There is no number to call - so the recipient and myself both reached out to the website and neither of us got responses and it is now 2 days later. I finally got a hold of them via their Facebook page where they agreed to give me a promo code to use in the future. I figured that was in addition to re-sending flowers. Nope - the promo code was for me to go online and re-order the flowers. They sent me this email like I should be so excited that they were letting me reorder flowers free of charge.
Any other company would have replaced the flowers without me having to do the legwork and done so immediately and most likely it would have been bigger and better and with an apology. And I would have gotten either a refund or a promo code to use in the future. And I could have called on the phone to talk someone (their customer service like merely refers you to their website). Super shady - I was trying to support a local business and they failed.

Ordered flowers for my wife for Valentine's Day. They confirmed that the order shipped, however they never shipped it. I called them and emailed them repeatedly the day of the delivery. They would not answer the phones or an email. I was finally able to get someone on a chat on the website the following day. It took them 45 minutes to admit that they just didn't have the flowers and that they would give me a refund (I am holding my breath on that). Do not order flowers from this company if you have to see them on a certain date (or from my experience at all). A terrible company to do business with, they truly do not care about the customer.

First time using this company for Valentine's day flowers, most of the flowers arrived dead, dying, and stems broken. Attempted several times to contact company for refund, but they kept replying to give flowers a few days to revive themselves. They claim 100% satisfaction guarantee, but to this point they have not honored this. Very dissatisfied, and will not use again, will simply go to local florist. And the amount of flowers for the price not a good value.

I ordered from Bouqs after seeing a deal on Groupon. $30 for $50 worth of flowers. Okay - good deal, I will take it. I bought the Groupon and was directed to the "discount" site to choose my bouquet. All the bouquets ranged from $60-$75--which meant I was spending MORE money after purchasing my voucher. NOT happy. Okay so I chose a bouquet that had an array of colors--even advertised as "When we said all the colors, we meant ALL the colors." When I received my bouquet (which was delivered on time, so that was a plus) it was half dead and only consisted of white, yellow and light pink spray roses. No buds or other colors as the picture or description promised.
I sent in a complaint and the company gave me a $50 gift card to use on their website (but--why would I want to order more dead flowers?!) and assured me that they would notify the farmer of the discrepancy. I have attached the photo of what I was promised and what I was sent. A day and a half after receiving my bouquet valued at $60--it's dead! Save your money and go to a local florist. Not worth the expense.

Your site makes a point of describing arrangements, but when delivery came (very late, 9 pm) there was a large box with tightly bound bundles of four different flower types cited in their "arrangement". Looked like a wholesale delivery, not Valentine's flowers. No card. Just lots of wrapping to cut loose (utility knife required) then I need to arrange them… On their website they talk about carefully prepared arrangements! Most depressing florist delivery ever.
Hi Joan,
It sounds like you received a Bouq from our farm collection, which we truly pride ourselves on. Hi Tanisha,
We're sorry you were disappointed with your Bouq. The arrangement you selected is part of our "Artisan Florist" collection and will therefore be crafted to the meet the theme of the Bouq instead of an exact recipe according to the local florist's interpretation and best inventory. Each of our listings in this category have the note:
Photos shown are examples of this style. Flower types and design will vary based on the local Artisan Florist's interpretation of "Rustic."

I just received these roses for Valentine’s Day from my husband. When I opened the box, I unwrapped the secure packaging to find 10 long stem roses. Two were broken and a third broke just trying to arrange them in the vase. It was disappointing that they broke but the flowers themselves were brown on the edges and a bit squashed looking. So I had to make two vases, one tall and one short for the broken ones. Very disappointed in the quality. My husband would’ve done better if he bought flowers at Trader Joe’s or the supermarket. Purchased a Groupon voucher for $40 worth of flowers plus free delivery. To use the voucher you have to go to their website and pick out a bouquet. There are NO $40 options. The best you can do is pay an additional $10 for a small bunch of what looks like daisies. Shipping is only free if you register for an account with Bouqs. The final insult was the fact that when going through checkout the site would not accept the Groupon voucher. I finally gave up and went back to Groupon to cancel the order. Turns out that once you open the voucher (which you need when trying to check out at Bouqs you can't cancel). Neat catch-22 clause eh? However, went online with Groupon and they did a "Trade" which cancels the Bouq purchase and allowed me to use the price paid for a local Groupon purchase which was fine for me. Bottom line: Beware of Bouqs. Groupon needs to ban them from their cadre of vendors.

The only reason I purchased flowers was due to the discount I received through purchasing movie tickets, with Fandango. I selected the "Farmers Choice" supposedly consisting of 24 stems of the farmers choice, it made the selecting process easier for me. $15.00 bucks for flowers and another $15.00 for shipping. $30.00 bucks invested and yes, I was skeptical of what I'd receive. Well, long story short, D.I.S.A.P.P.O.I.N.T.M.E.N.T. is an understatement. The tiger lilies were okay, but the other type of flower had all the blooms completely SMASHED. I cut the stems, added the packet of Chrysal to a vase and waited patiently hoping the blooms would recover. Some blooms did, most did not. I have a bit of creativity and was able to arrange the bouquet to a somewhat satisfactory appearance, but all in all, the flowers SUCK... I'll NEVER EVER recommend this place nor make another purchase.

I received a bouquet from my boyfriend yesterday. When I opened the box, my co-workers and I all looked at them disgusted. They were brown and wilted and embarrassing. My boyfriend gets me flowers all the time. I have no idea why he didn't use his usual spot down the street. These must have had a coupon or a promotion. I opened this box of flowers and was immediately embarrassed that these were my Valentine's Day gift!!! Even today my co-worker asked how long ago I got these because he didn't notice! He thought they were a week old! I emailed Bouqs, with pictures and all. They emailed me back and told me to wait two days for the outside pedals to fall off and don't worry, they'll look great. They said that the roses have "guard petals" around them to protect during shipping. So I have to wait for them to fall off, then, wait for the buds to bloom, and then they will be fine. Give them a few days.
I emailed them back, again, and asked them to look at the pictures. The flowers had already bloomed. These were not going to grow anywhere but down. They then offered me a GIFT CARD so that I could purchase a new set of flowers. Huh??? I emailed them back and said, no, (third email asking for a refund BTW) and they finally agreed to refund the card. Had they not I would have escalated with my bank. I will give 1 star for the fact that the customer service rep, although insulting towards my intelligence, did respond quickly. But the product is terrible and the dance I had to do to get my money back was unacceptable. No wonder they have two stars on here.
Hi Chandra,
We apologize that the flowers you received were unexpected. Many of our rose-filled Bouqs come straight from the farms and do indeed have their guard petals intact so they can endure the transit. These can removed manually to reveal the lush inner petals. Our 100% Happiness Guarantee policy is in place to make sure you receive a fresh arrangement but as you preferred a refund, we went ahead and issued one. Please email our customer support team for any further assistance.

However, after I ordered I saw this site the one I'm posting on now with a lot of negative reviews saying that the flowers came late and or they didn't look so good. This made me nervous because I had already placed my order. I can't speak for anyone else, but I received them today on exactly the day they were supposed to be delivered. For anyone thinking about using these guys for Valentine's Day flowers, I would think again. The idea of getting flowers fresh from the growers seems great, except to get them here in time they have to use FedEx. I live near DC and ordered them for my girlfriend to be delivered on Valentine's Day to her office, except they didn't arrive on time, despite the fact I had placed the order a week prior. Let me tell you, the old adage "it's the thought that counts" does not apply when every other female in her office got flowers and she didn't. I got zero credit for being a good boyfriend because The Bouqs tried to overnight flowers from the farmer in California to DC.
When it was near the end of the workday and I hadn't gotten any response from the girlfriend thanking me for the flowers I got suspicious and used the tracking number they gave me see what the issue was. That's when I saw that the estimated delivery date was now 15 February. When I tried to call their customer support number I was even more angered because instead of transferring to a person to help me with the issue I was greeted with a message saying that because of the huge volume of calls, they would only accept customer service inquiries via email and that I would receive a response soon after they received it. I sent the email explaining my situation, and in their defense they did eventually refund my money, but they have lost my trust. Bottom line: I ordered flowers to be delivered on a specific date and they failed to deliver them.

I got some coupon from Fandango when buying movie tickets and thought it would be a nice surprise to give my wife some flowers. Was still $27 after the discount but thought it would be a reasonable price. Flowers came a day later than expected (mostly FedEx’s usual mistake) but the flowers and vase were such poor quality; box was damaged, flowers were brown already, vase was scratched, flowers had various lengths of stems that took work to prepare, the label was sloppily applied and torn, and things were squished. They want to give me a credit for my hassle, but I really don’t feel like sending these to anyone, might as well buy some from a gas station.

Here are some things you NEED to know right from the start. The Bouqs claims that they offer an "all-inclusive," alternative to regular flower delivery services, with no hidden fees, free weekday delivery, and 100% satisfaction guarantee. All of these in my experience are FALSE CLAIMS. After receiving a "free," Bouq through a promo invitation, I signed up and was struck by how lovely and simple the website looked. The Bouq does a good job of selling an aesthetic, a lifestyle, a certain elegance to compliment its DIY UN-ARRANGED floral arrangements. Problem is, what you see is not always what you get, and what you get stuck paying for is a soggy mouldy thorny excuse of a gift. Here's what happened, I ordered the Farmer's Choice Mini Bouquets for my friend's funeral, used the $40 voucher, but then was required to pay $19 in shipping costs not previously disclosed!
If a Bouq normally costs $40, and you claim that is an all inclusive pricing why the heck would you charge someone more than $40 for the same product?! That is a hidden fee, is the opposite of transparent and does not fit the definition of all inclusive. Off to a rocky start, but anyway, I had sent them to the last address I had known him to live at but quickly discovered he had moved according to friends. As the order had yet to ship (and would not for another day or more), I immediately contacted customer service to cancel the order, but customer service refused to cancel the order saying that they wanted to give the farmer enough time to PRINT THE SHIPPING LABEL (ya with the wrong address, mind you). Bouqs' claims that orders that have yet to ship may be cancelled and then reordered, but not modified.
I desperately explained to them that it would not be nice to receive "sorry for your loss," bouquets for someone you don't know and haven't lost at your new residence. I informed the current resident of the situation so as there wouldn't be as unpleasant a surprise and to coordinate the handoff of the package as for some reason despite claiming no signature would be required, FedEx would be requiring a signature. The current resident was still very upset about this and was not able to help sign for the package. I could not reroute the shipment as I was neither the shipper nor recipient and The Bouqs refused to intervene on my behalf. When the first attempt was made unsuccessfully, FedEx said they would be holding the flowers for pickup instead of delivery at a site closest to the destination address.
After much much much complaining, customer service took Pity on me and issued a credit for an equivalent bouquet, free shipping, and an upgrade. I thought, well this is how you treat a customer. I ordered a new bouq to a new recipient (as I had already bought my dead friend replacement flowers), this time having them delivered at an address I control. This time, I picked the Fiesta Bouquet in the Grand size with two day delivery. This time, FedEx dropped the flowers off WITH NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED despite this being a significantly more expensive bouquet. But it was fine as long as they weren't going to rot in the back of a hot truck for days on end. When the recipient saw the box, we opened it together and I filmed the entire thing.
The first thing we noticed was that the flowers were WET, not just damp BUT SOAKING wet, soggy, and kind wilting already. The second thing we noticed was that all of the stems had THORNS on them, that they were not at all arranged but rather bundled with RUBBER BANDS in groups and alternatively laid so as to conform better to the shipping receptacle. It took like half-an-hour to get them into a vase due to all the maintenance we had to do just to prep them. In my opinion, you shouldn't have to work THAT hard for a GIFT. That very same day, we took some pictures and saw that many of the petals on the flowers were tinged. They had only been in transit for a day, how could it be that they were already dying if they were FARM FRESH?!
According to customer service freshness is expected to last 4-7 days including transit. I contacted The Bouqs' customer service on behalf of my recipient and was told that my order did not qualify for satisfaction guaranteed as it was a "free" order. When I explained that actually, I had in fact paid real money for the previous bouquet which was never delivered and never refunded, and that that value was transferred to this bouquet upon their initial failure and acceptance of responsibility, eventually after Google's Trustpilot intervened, I was granted another credit but when I posted my honest review on Trustpilot's, The Bouqs retaliated and I was prevented from using the credit as my account was DEACTIVATED by THE BOUQS.
When I asked them why they were denying me the remedy they had offered as a result of their repeated failures and I had accepted in the interest of giving them an opportunity to redeem themselves (but mostly because they refused all other remedies including refund of the amount paid originally), they said it seems they did not have the best option to meet my needs. In other words they thought I was being difficult, that they were incapable of delivering the level of service I required. The only level of service I required was the one they advertise, the one I paid for, the one they guaranteed. Every single person that I know who has received a Bouq has been disappointed by the quality of the flowers, the amount of difficulty it took to receive help when problems arose, and the inconsistent statements The Bouqs makes.
It is also worth noting, that depending on your cookies, you will be shown arrangements that are different than those to another shopper (though it is unclear as to what qualifies you for the better looking bouquet over anyone else). When asked about this, The Bouqs said variations of each style exist but the main flowers stay the same. What it appears like to me is that some bouquets receive a bunch of cheap filler instead of blooms or blossoms despite having their same name and the same price. The attached images were taken the date of delivery and again on day 5.

The arrangements have been met with awe by those receiving them, because they are not your every day arrangement. They are different, lush and expensive looking, though the prices are very reasonable. I appreciate knowing and learning about the growers of the flowers, as well as where they are grown. In spite of the company’s promise, they do not deliver as they claim. I placed an order on 12/20 for flowers for my parent’s NYE anniversary party and requested delivery for 12/29. I received a shipping notification on 12/26 that the flowers were shipped so I expected that the flowers were going to be received in a couple of days and I would get a call from my mother. I didn’t hear from her and began to wonder so I went to the shipping confirmation and found that the flowers are still about 180 miles from the destination and won’t be delivered until 1/3. That’s too late for the party and is after their anniversary so the eventual arrival of the flowers will be anticlimactic. But this company got its money, right?
I sent an email to the company and received a response from Robert ** who told me the flowers were en route and would be delivered on 1/3, which is within 5 days of the requested delivery date. He did not respond to my concerns, mainly that the flowers did not arrive in time for the special event. I will not order from this company again. They apparently don’t realize that anniversaries, birthdays, weddings, funerals, etc. have specific dates and a five day window is not acceptable. This five day delivery window is not disclosed on the website and clearly designed to deceive because if someone was ordering flowers for a specific time and knew that the company only guarantees delivery within five days after the requested date, it would influence the buying decision - most people would go somewhere else if delivery date is critical.
One would also expect that fresh flowers would be shipped using overnight or two day delivery but the FedEx records show that the flowers were received in Miami customs the. On to Memphis, TN. That is to be expected because all FedEx goes to Memphis but then instead of being shipped to a large FedEx distribution center in TX, the flowers took a ride to Oxnard and Burbank, CA then were shipped halfway back across the country where they are sitting over the New Year's holiday until tomorrow when they will be placed on a truck to travel the last 180 miles for delivery on Wednesday.

My Aunt was home all day and didn't know they were just left on the porch in 12 degree weather. The flowers froze. When I emailed the company (they have no way to just call them) I got a snarky email that I could try some of the trucks in "this video" to perk up my flowers - with a link attached. The link didn't work. They offered that if those tricks didn't work, I could send them a picture of the flowers. I'm not going to ask my Aunt to pull the flowers out of the trash and send me a picture. She was so devastated.
Flowers are fragile and these were expensive. If I'm going to pay for flowers and shipping, they should be responsible enough to ask for a signature so it's clear that flowers being delivered actually make it inside a house. The problem with this company is that the appearance is not consistent. I thought that by ordering fresh cut CA grown flowers for delivery in CA that they would be really fresh. I chose flowers from CA growers and the primary draw that justified the extra price for this company was the local nature and eco-friendly practices. The problem is that they don't put anything in with the flowers to keep them hydrated. So they ship them out in a box with no water in the afternoon for arrival the next day.
The first order I sent arrived droopy, but perked up in water, so I thought it was ok. For the second order I sent, about half of the flowers in the bouquet arrived droopy or wilting and did not perk up in water. I contacted the company and sent a picture and the company offered me a gift card, but I can't really use it because I don't want to send droopy flowers to anyone. When I send flowers to someone, initial appearance on arrival is kinda critical. I have used The Bouqs for a couple of years for monthly delivery for 2 family members. However last year I had a problem with their billing process. I like to pay once a year but they weren't able to accept that so I waited a year and tried again. This year they have taken my one year payment but have only delivered flowers once in three months. They seem to have some problems and I hope they are able to solve them. They have great flowers at a reasonable price.

I've ordered from Bouqs on at least 3 separate occasions now. Sometimes having multiple orders sent to the same address on the same day. On every occasion, I have received exactly what I ordered and on time. The major draw to me is that these are flowers sustainably picked from around the world, and shipped fresh, at a competitive price point. I have always been very pleased with the arrangements that have arrived. The flowers have always been stunning, vibrant, and enduring.
Many have complained that the arrangements they receive do not resemble the pictures. This may be a case of the consumer not reading the description as many of the arrangements shown on the website are seasonal arrangements that leave the actual flowers included up to the discretion of the grower and they very clearly indicate that the arrangement may not resemble that of the picture. I have always read the description before I have purchased, and I have not had any issue.
Some also may not be impressed with the simple presentation. They are safely packed into a rectangular cardboard box and shipped. They are shipped in a single bunch per price point. The base level is 1 bunch of flowers, the deluxe is 2 bunches of flowers, and the grand is 3 bunches of flowers. In my experience, these bunches are all the same. You are just paying for more flowers, which is readily indicated on the website. These flowers do not come pre-arranged to make a stunning impact when the box is opened, nor are they wrapped in lace and tissue paper or what-not. A little effort is required on your part to put them in the vase, add the included flower food, and adjust them to look nice.
Overall I am extremely satisfied with the products I have received for the money I have spent. I feel that this is a far less commercial endeavor such as most places I have ordered flowers from. I believe this flower company targets specifically the consumer that is concerned about the preservation of the environment and appreciating nature in a way that doesn't negatively impact it. It's a different kind of flower company, and it is a good thing.

My recipients, mostly people in their 80s and 90s, have all been very pleased with their Bouqs. I don't understand all the negative reviews. The website clearly describes how the flowers will arrive and what to do to take care of them. If you follow the directions they bloom beautifully and last for a very long time--longer than most cut flowers--and have a wonderful aroma. As for the reviewers who seem *shocked* that their flowers come from ECUADOR... Are you really so ignorant that you don't know where commercial flowers at Walmart and the grocery stores come from? Not only are the vast majority of those flowers from foreign countries, they are most likely from farms that use environment destroying farming practices and horrible labor conditions.
The only problem I ever had with Bouqs was with a local "artisanal" florist that they had contracted with near the place of delivery in Ohio. I was furious at the time since the flowers weren't delivered when they should have been, but the florist and Bouqs made up for it in customer service and the credits they offered me. I have never had a problem when ordering from one of their South American or California farms. Bouqs is one of the good guys and is a company that should be supported. Bouqs provides sustainable source for flowers.

My experience with Bouqs has been positive both as a recipient and as someone sending flowers to a friend. The flowers gifted to me were in bud form as described and opened beautifully within the day. The flowers lasted for a good while with care and changing out the water demo-regularly, etc. A portion are still thriving now, about a month later. The experience with being gifted the flowers led me to want to gift them to a friend. They arrived on time and appeared to be as described. The order was without a vase, however, because the one that arrived to me was dented, so it seemed not worth the $12. Essentially it's been all positive - it is surprising to see that others have not had the same experience.

Bought my mother the largest order of vibrant and colorful tulips. First birthday for her without my dad, who used to buy her a table full of beautiful flowers every year. I wanted to make it both familiar, but special by getting her tons of colorful flowers. Bouqs send ALL WHITE TULIPS. White flowers for her birthday after her husband died of brain cancer. Colors may vary doesn't even begin to explain how purple, pink, and white were instead all white. Was so disappointed. For a flower company, they sure didn't consider the meaning of particular colors and flowers. The company sent another order of the same flowers at no charge. Great. More white flowers to remind us.

I made the mistake of choosing "Designer's Choice" and I also picked the deluxe which is the more expensive option. It was the laziest looking arrangement for $70+. I submitted a complaint to no avail. I would've been better off spending half the money and having a friend put together some flowers from a grocery store or just shopping somewhere else where I have received consistent service.
I was told that because the flowers were of good quality there was nothing they could do. The picture and description of "designer's choice" is incredibly misleading and overpriced. The take away from this experience is that it basically gives the florist the option to put together a cheap arrangement. Not happy and not using Bouqs again.

I ordered 3 separate orders from The Bouqs company from their website. The website had dates by the floral arrangements. So I ordered from what I thought would be the accurate bouquet for the flowers. The pictures are extremely misleading. I sent an arrangement to my supervisor and a few of my professors. I was so shocked and underwhelmed, as the flowers did not look anything like what the pictures on the website showed. They were about 12 stems of green plants. No flowers at all. We trimmed them and placed in the tin vase we purchased from Bouqs and waited a day to see if something magical would happen. Nothing flowered.
After 3-4 days, I e-mailed The Bouqs and asked for a refund and was told to give the flowers more time. I contacted them again and asked for a refund and they told me to watch the video on flower care. After 6 days the stems started dying and after much consideration, I realize that I have been duped. The orders I ordered double the flowers, not at all. So, my only recourse is to warn people about this less than reputable company. Not worth the money, energy, frustration or embarrassment. My supervisor and Professors think I was playing a joke on them. For my $190.00 - I received bad product and service. Avoid The Bouqs folks.

So this year I decided to look around for more quality flowers. Found the Bouqs website with many Growers from all over the world.
The Bouqs has videos & background information on all the flowers & Farmers. I was really impressed by the large assortment & the given product knowledge. I ordered the "dawn" flowers. They were bright orange with darker orange tips, just beautiful. Ok so the order is made and I ALWAYS read reviews before buying but this time I skipped because of the great presentation. I must say the flowers did come in great packaging as well as instructions. Yes the flowers were in buds at first but I would rather the flowers be blooming so I can experience the beauty V.S. having the flowers arrive DEAD & broken flowers like ProFlowers sent on many occasions. In the end I actually "saved" only $5 on one order and $10 on the other. More importantly, Bouqs' "100% Happiness guarantee" is also false. I ordered 2 double bouquets. One bunch in each order was wilted in 24 hours and the other bunch within 3 days. (Flowers that I get for $5 at Wal-Mart last at least a week.) Lastly, their customer "service" was horrible. They told me I had to text them photos of the wilted flowers before they'd believe me, but then gave me a bogus/non-functioning number and email to which I was to send the photos. In the end, even with the minimal savings, I still paid more than any other flower service I've ever used (and I've used many) for far inferior quality. Flowers were delivered half dead/wilted. All the vials were empty. No water in them and these flowers were "said" to be overnight because FedEx screwed up on the first order that did not get redelivered as FedEx stated they would redeliver next day and DID NOT! So this, a week later, was suppose to be the second order of so called FRESH FLOWERS! WHICH WERE ANYTHING BUT FRESH! Back and forth with customer service, the two woman I spoke with were very nice and did apologize for all the inconvenience but the gentleman that emailed me kept dancing around the issue saying I needed to wait for the flowers to perk up once in water. I have NEVER had to wait for flowers to PERK UP! REALLY!!! I emailed him four times telling him the same thing that there was no water in the vials and that overnight flowers should not be dead/wilted etc etc!
Both FedEx and Bouqs Flowers are to blame here. The person that packaged the flowers obviously does not know what dead flowers look like and had no clue that you're suppose to put water in those vials that are attached to stems etc!! My granddaughter had ordered them for me for my 70th birthday and she had to go through so much annoyance to try and get things straightened out when she should not have had that much trouble, but after emailing back and forth with an Alex I can understand why she was so frustrated! He just was not getting all of what was done or should I say NOT done! He then gives me a $20.00 credit for all my aggravation. I had to sign up for an account just to be able to send the pictures of the flowers and address my concerns.
I then was going to send my granddaughter flowers for all the trouble she had and guess what there are NO flowers under $40.00 and I am on a very fixed income. I cannot afford much of anything. That really annoyed me because at first I was told I would get a gift card and then he gives me a credit that I cannot and will not use and I told him so in yet another email that it was an insult to me for him to do that because it was their way of trying to get more business. NOT HAPPENING! They can keep their $20.00 and I told him that! They did give my granddaughter back her money and a gift card after all her problems with them but that also took a lot of her time and patience and at first they were not going to give her a refund!! She was beyond annoyed!!!
They need to own up to their mistakes as well as who they hire to deliver their flowers dead or alive!! AND they have a HAPPINESS GUARANTEE!! REALLY!! And they put at the end of that guarantee IF APPROPRIATE. And guess who makes that decision!! That is a joke!! I almost forgot the card that they typed out with what my granddaughter wanted to say to me. They typed FORNTHE instead of FOR THE. They obviously do not check their work or what they type on cards... VERY UNHAPPY WITH THE WHOLE DAMN EXPERIENCE!!
As far as order number they could not give me that information. I was told there were two order numbers. I said, "Ok. What are they." They said. "Oh we don't have them. It only says there were two orders." And then I said, "Yes and BOTH WERE SCREWED UP!" The woman again apologized. It was not her fault. She just works there in customer service, but Alex just did not get it!! Since they did not give me an order number I will give you my granddaughter's email. Maybe that will help. It's **. So with all of the above said I am DONE!

The first time I ordered from The Bouqs, I sent two bouquets, and neither of the recipients ever said anything negative about them. I did not see either bouquet, so I don't know if they were just being nice. One of them was my mother, after all. This time, I purchased a license code from DudeIWantThat.com. It was a deal where you pay them $35 for a $50 code that you can put toward purchasing a bouquet on Bouqs. I went online to Bouqs and began placing an order for a $50 bouquet, and it said it could not put it in my cart, but didn't say why not.
I called customer service who, after several holds and a promise of a callback or an email notification (neither of which ever happened), when I called them again said they had "a bug in their system" and they would try to fix it, but in the meantime, I could log out and order the bouquet as a guest instead. They offered to give a $15 gift card to cover the shipping on the bouquet. When I asked if a license code and gift card would work on the same transaction, they said they would not. Here's the problem.
I already paid for the bouquet, I paid $35. I already have an account on their website, and when you order on your account, you don't have to pay the $15 shipping. So if I use my account, and use the license code, I pay $35 total. But their system has a bug, so I can't do that, and they can't bypass it. If I pay as a guest, I can use either the license code or the gift card, but I have to pay shipping. If I use the license code, I still have to pay the $15, and then what was supposed to cost me $35 total ends up costing me $50. But their system has a bug so I can't do that either.
If I use the gift card and not the license code, then I pay $35 for the wasted license code, and $50 for the bouquet with free shipping, so I pay $85 total. This was not a financial solution, this was simply the company saying they had a problem with their system and they wanted me to pay for their problem. It is not my fault you hired a sub-par IT team. If in the hypothetical situation that all of your equipment and systems are working properly, I get to buy a bouquet for $35 - then in the very real situation where none of your systems are working properly, you should make good and make sure I still get to buy a bouquet for $35. That's called customer service. Welcome to running a business, instead of running one into the ground. At this point, it seems I have to eat my $35 license code and will be getting no flowers. I would only do business with Bouqs again if they made good on this ridiculous joke.

I ordered a few bouquets from Bouqs.com that were beautiful. But the third and fourth orders were so disappointing. I sent an email with pictures of the third bouquet and they did give me a credit. I recently used the credit and ordered the same bouquet from their website to be sent to a different location. The bouquet I ordered from their website had roses, hydrangeas, pink accents and beautiful filler. (Picture below)
I ordered the bouquet on Friday, July 21 to be delivered in Scottsdale on Tuesday, July 25 between 9-11 am. The bouquet, picture below, was delivered around 2:00 pm (hours later than requested) and this is what was received... no roses, no hydrangeas, (those could be seasonal, but roses are not). I need to reiterate the same feelings I had on the previous bouquet I sent, I could have gone to the grocery and picked up ten bunches plus delivery and had an amazing looking bouquet for $75, instead of what was delivered.
I have referred their company, spoke highly about it on Facebook and shared with friends across the country how great they were. My last complaint told them I DID NOT want a credit, I would not refer their company or use it again and I would review it with these facts. I am truly sad that the concept of their company could not be reflected in the product they deliver. I'm beginning to understand why they do not have a customer service telephone number on their website, possibly too many complaints?

A week later I finally placed another order. She posted pictures of her bouquet and it was the small size when I paid over twice as much for the large size with vase. No vase was delivered, just a box. Third time shortly after that I was sent a mix of tulips and iris from my birthday from a friend who thought I liked Bouqs. They came warm and dead. I am now dealing with my second disappointing experience with this company. The first go-around, I ordered a standard bouquet of roses. The roses arrived on time, but were wilted and nearly dead upon arrival. I immediately followed up with customer service. I was assured that the roses would come back to life once put into a vase with the proper nutrients. Well, 5 days after doing so, the flowers never regained life and were basically dead. I was never offered a refund or alternative (100% satisfaction guarantee?).
The only reason I gave The Bouqs a second chance is because their company listed Peonies in stock during the off-season. I ordered a bouquet of peonies on a Thursday afternoon and paid extra to have them delivered on a Saturday. On a Friday afternoon (a full 24 hours after I placed the order), customer service reached out to me. They informed me due to an increase in demand, they would not be able to send the Peonies. The Bouqs listed 3 different bouquet options on their website, and I find it hard to believe all 3 were sold out within 24 hours of me placing an order.
I am most appalled with the level of customer service. Instead of offering me a replacement (at no additional cost) or a discount on a future order of some sort, I was given nothing but a refund and apology. Not so. They told me the best they could do would be to credit the sender's account for $15. When my mother arrived, I gave her the flowers. She obviously appreciated the thought but we both felt bad for my sister in law, and didn't want to tell her what a mess it was.
A few weeks later, an ad from Bouqs was directed at me on Facebook. I told them, publicly, to take me off their lists and why. They reached out and said they would like to make it right. "Great," I said. "I simply wanted my mother to get a replacement bouquet." "No problem," I was told. I would just need to put give them a credit card number to create an account, they would then give me a credit to use toward a replacement bouquet, and they would remove the $15 credit from my SIL's account. Alternatively, my SIL could contact them and they would give her the full credit, which she could use towards a future purchase or to resend a replacement bouquet. Really? Absolute worst floral delivery experience ever. They have no phone numbers to call customer service, so you are left to sending emails and receiving inadequate responses. Supposedly they offer same-day shipping, but my order for Mother's Day was supposed to be delivered an entire week ago and is still nowhere to be found. Originally, I decided to take advantage of an offer for a "free" ($40 discount) bouquet. They made up for the discount by charging $20 for shipping and $12 for a vase. I had to place the order by email to customer service since the website kept clearing my cart before the order would process.
On the day that the flowers are supposed to deliver (one week ago), I receive an email in the afternoon that due to "unforeseen circumstances" my delivery won't make it today and they'll try again the next day. Well, being as the delivery was going to my mother's workplace and she doesn't work on Saturday, that wasn't going to fly. I sent an email to customer service to see about changing the delivery address and was instead told I could use a $100 credit that would be good for a year.
I see that FedEx is having some problems that could have affected delivery, so I decide to try again with the store credit. This time, the backup delivery is scheduled for Tuesday (3 days ago). To date, NEITHER bouquet has arrived. The original order had a shipping label created but does not appear to have actually left the warehouse and the second order says it's "en route" but doesn't even have a tracking number so I highly doubt it has actually been shipped. Thanks for ruining the Mother's Day present to my poor mom. Absolutely awful.

Ordered The Bouqs about a year ago - great experience first one/two times. Shared my experience. Have received flowers from them multiple times since then as gifts and every time I have written to complain. They give you credit - but don't allow you to use it unless bouquets are full price. Mother's day flowers were received and the next day, after of course water/food, they started to die and never opened.

Mother Day's Special Not honored. Tried to purchase a "free" bouquet with a $20 "shipping fee" as a first time customer. None of the 3 $40 options were available and by the time their terrible customer service people responded it was impossible to get an arrangement delivered on time. No apologies, always a different rep responding to my email. "Nothing we can do". Terrible policies, extremely vague promotion details, no follow through and no attempt to better the situation.

My daughter ordered Mother's Day flowers from The Bouqs Co. Not only did they not come when promised, but when they finally arrived 8 days late, they were blackened and had petals falling off the flowers. Have used other mail order flower companies and have had good results, but this one is deplorable. They shouldn't be in business.

I ordered what I thought was a beautiful bouquet for my daughter's first Mother's Day. The flowers arrived on time. The colors were beautiful BUT they died two days later never blooming. I tried to contact the company and there is NO phone number to speak to anyone!!! I submitted an email. I again submitted a second one with pictures! So sad wanted to leave this company!!! All I can say is the ProFlowers my son sent me are blooming and beautiful. I won't order from Bouqs again. I am going back to ProFlowers.

My son who treats me extremely well would throw a fit if he knew what was delivered to my home for Mother's Day. 3 carnations and 3 roses made up the arrangement, and the roses died before ever opening up!! Wow, seriously? This floral arrangement was the ugliest I have ever seen. Shame on you for charging my son anything for this crap. I am still considering whether to tell him or not. Really pissed off.

Ordered two Mother's Day bouquets. My mother in law actually text me a photo and wrote 'Thanks, they are fine'. I was absolutely abhorred by what was sent to her. When I notified customer service they weren't going to do anything but send her a video about flower care. This is not a joke. And then after I got very steamed they offered me $10. Unbelievable. ***Do not do business with this company***

Please don't depend on this company! If your flower delivery is timely, find another flower delivery service. On Mother's Day, probably the MOST important "flower holiday", they screwed up! Ordered for delivery 3 days early JUST TO ENSURE THAT WE'D HAVE THEM IN TIME. When they didn't arrive, contacting them is restricted to email. They do respond, but several hours later. They asked me to wait so they could research the delivery problem. No further response. Next day I make another inquiry. Again I'm asked to wait with much apology.
They respond (email) the day before Mother's Day that there's a problem with Federal Express. I check with Federal Express and apparently, FedEx rec'd ONLY the notice of an order from Bouqs, but never rec'd a formal order for pick up. So Bouqs never released the flowers to Federal Express! SO frustrating when a company not only fails to provide a service, but makes delaying excuses making it impossible to make alternative plans in any timely manner. Mind you this was a $150 order and put quite a damper on our Mother's Day having to explain the situation. So find another flower vendor!

My sons sent 24 roses to me for Mother's Day! 12 sad, wilted petal, dropping, brown leaf roses arrived! I loved the thought and didn't want my boys to know how awful they looked so I contacted the company instead. Well apparently it was because I didn't know how to care for these specially grown and nurtured roses!!! I should watch a video link they provided! I'm 60 and have cut and arranged a lot of flowers and these were the worse ever received by mail!! And I would have let it go if the company had responded with "We are so sorry. We will refund your son's account and send you more so you can see our usual quality" but NO! They said "not possible for the flowers to be low quality and NO not refunding unless the buyer request a refund!"
Didn't want my guys to know how sad these looked! I loved their effort and sweet thoughts!! Didn't want to complain to them! Also only found out 24 were ordered and 12 delivered after sending my son a strategically taken picture to make the flowers seem to look OK! He asked where the other 12 were!! Who knows but maybe the video would have helped me with that mystery also!! Horrible... blame the recipient... customer service and worse flowers and this is not an unfair review! Mad Mama! Took my kids' money and sent trash!

Don't order flowers from Bouqs.com. Two separate orders placed on bouqs.com for Mother's Day flowers were totally unsatisfactory. The flowers were not those that I ordered (as depicted on their website). Not only were they entirely different - and less attractive - flowers, they were mostly wilted or near-dead. Both of the recipients felt it necessary to tell me I ought to complain and try get my money back. When I contacted bouqs.com (twice!), all I received was an email stating they were sorry. I wasn't satisfied. Be warned.

Worst flower delivery ever! My daughter ordered flowers for me to be delivered the day before Mother's Day. She's in another state but checked online and learned they had not been delivered so she followed up with them. They then promised a Sunday delivery. When she saw I still had not received them on Mother's Day, she called to apologize because I was feeling very forgotten. She explained the horrible customer service experience she had with them and said she was still working on it but that the flowers would be very nice, including a plant that I could then pot and keep.
Fast forward to the Tuesday after Mother's Day. A box arrived with tacky colored roses (which I never like because they die so quickly). This was clearly surplus product past its peak not only from the appearance of the flowers but also the fact that they were wrapped in cardboard that said "Mother's Day Bouquet". I really appreciate the thoughtfulness that my daughter put into timely ordering something I would enjoy and feel horrible that she feels as though she let me down, all because she decided to use The Bouqs Company.

It's infuriating to see that my experience was not just a one time thing... Everyone has the same experience when ordering from The Bouqs. I took a chance on a new company without reading any reviews and it was a frustrating and embarrassing experience! I ordered Mother's day flowers for my Mom with a delivery date of the Friday before Mother's day. Friday comes and I receive an email saying the delivery date would actually be Saturday. One day later and they were sending me a store credit, so no big deal. They then send me an email Friday evening to say my order has been shipped.
Saturday comes and still no flowers? I check their tracking status on their website and it claims the flowers are on their way... except the FedEx tracking number states that only a label has been created and they have not even been shipped. Why then would they send me an email to say otherwise? I send another email, looking for clarification. Instead of an honest answer, they give me another store credit for my inconvenience.
I email them AGAIN Sunday morning. I don't want another store credit. I want to know when my Mother would be receiving the flowers I sent her! They write me back and say the flowers aren't going to be delivered and gave me my money back. Would they have told me this had I not emailed them? You know, to give me time to find another florist to deliver my Mother flowers on Mother's day?!? NO. So that left me sending my Mom a screenshot of the email they sent with an apology for the flowers that never came. I have used the store credits they sent me to send my Mom a LATE Mother's day bouquet but that will be the ABSOLUTE last time I order from this Company. I will make sure everyone I know does the same.

Customer service did get back with me right away via email, but a credit doesn't really help, as all my funds went to buy THESE flowers, and so I can't get replacements that look less shopworn (and are perhaps whole). I'll never order flowers from them for any important occasion again, so I'm not sure when a store credit would be used!

Don't waste your time, money or efforts on this company. My daughter sent me flowers for Mother's Day. They arrived via FedEx with Saturday delivery. Flowers were droopy & dead. I trimmed the stems, & added packet enclosed into fresh water. I tried to revive them... When I awoke in the a.m. the following day, they were still dead & droopy. So I emailed the company. I got an immediate email response and I was told to removed all leaves, cut stems (I already had), and put into direct sunlight, and they will bloom and be beautiful. Well... They still look horrible, dead and total drooping.
I'm mad as heck about this. I'm hurt over the fact that the beautiful flowers my daughter had sent to me were dead upon arrival, and I'm SUPER MAD about the total lack of concern on the customer service end. I would NEVER advise anyone to order from the company. They DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR 100% HAPPINESS GUARANTEE AS STATED ON THE ENCLOSED CARD THAT CAME WITH THE FLOWERS. I have pictures of flowers and FedEx packaging. I'm MAD!!

My adult children sent me a bouquet for Mothers Day. They live in CA, I live in NY. The roses were brown, as were the carnations. The mums were crushed and broken off the stem. The spider mums were fine - they were wrapped in nets. I told my daughter how the flowers arrived and she contacted the company. They told her it was normal for some of the flowers to be brown. Really? I wouldn't buy these flowers from a supermarket for 19.99 and I'm sure my children paid a lot more than that. ProFlowers guarantees their bouquets for two weeks. These flowers are 50% dead. Do no use.

I ordered a bouquet for Mother's Day with a 10 day lead time. Not only did they not deliver on the day before Mother's Day, as promised, they are not planning to deliver my order at all due to a "technical issue." I was not informed of this at ANY TIME until I wrote to their customer service to find out where my order was. And it wasn't until I asked directly when the order would arrive that they informed me that it would not be delivered at all. This company is awful and I would steer very clear of them.

My daughter sent a bouquet of flowers from this company for Mother's Day. I can say, without fear of contradiction, these are the worst, most pathetic bouquet of flowers I have ever seen. Many of the stems were broken and the flowers just hanging and many of the petals had fallen off. One side looked like the driver must of sat on them. I cannot express how bad these flowers were. I ordered a "deluxe bouquet" of tulips for my mother. There were suppose to be 36 assorted tulips but what they sent were 20. Had I not ask what was sent I would have never know they had shorted my order (I am in CA, my mother in VA). I feel my money should have been refunded but they said they would get me a credit on my account. Why would I want a credit with people that can't fulfill a simple order. Guess I should have check with ConsumerAffairs before using them because their reviews are not good!!! Do not use them!!!
