Never received item I ordered. UPS tracking says item was returned to sender. Emails to Heartland were returned as "undeliverable." Their website CHAT not available. No way to leave a message when calling.

The Online purchase went well. The Heartland Website is user friendly, easy to navigate, corrected errors and gave options for payment. I was pleased with the process being so hassle-free. I am Looking forward to receiving product.

The process was smooth once password was confirmed. There needs to be information displayed on in stock/out of stock/quantity limitations status. Item variety is wonderful and prices unbeatable! The order process will be easier the second time around!

I went online to buy a few items from the catalog. I stumbled upon the clearance section and there were some great deals. Haven't received my order yet so can't review any specific items but overall I am happy with the site.

The site is easy to navigate. I found what I was looking for quickly. Checkout was smooth and seamless. I would use Heartland America again and would recommend the site to people I know. The price for what I bought can’t be beat.

I have been shopping with Heartland for many years. I have never been disappointed with the products I have purchased. I go through every product magazine they send me and if I see something I can use I order it. If not I wait for the next magazine.

Beware of the candy. I bought jelly beans and not only are they stale they taste like deadly chemicals. They refuse to talk to me about them instead putting me on hold and not even giving me a call back. I have bought from them in the past but I guess they no longer need me so I will go elsewhere to a business that will at least discuss the return policy. BTW the Danish cookies were all broken on arrival but they at least tasted okay.

I specifically put in what battery I needed for specific tool and was sold a particular battery. The battery is not correct and does not work with my tool. Not only do I have to pay for shipping back but also some sort of re-stock fee. Never again. Buyer beware.

Very unhappy. Ordered black shoes received white. Paid extra for faster shipping. Didnt happen. Took several weeks. Did not inform of shipping delays. No apologies. No communication. Will not be making any more purchases from them.

This place sells primarily cheap crap at ridiculous prices. And not only that if you buy something there, besides already paying more than the item is worth anywhere else online or even freestanding stores you're going to pay $9.95 shipping plus $3.99 for alleged order processing plus tax plus they're going to offer you package assurance (notice not insurance) but assurance for an additional $2.99. I've had The misfortune of ordering some of the same garbage from another ripoff catalog or as I call scamalogs from Montgomery Ward and all those bunch of folks or as bad as 7th Avenue and all those rip off catalogs. Thankfully, the online sites are going to put these rip off businesses out of business. Even Walmart's better.

I have made a few purchases over the last year. The price and quality seem good, and they shipped out promptly. The call center answers the phone and tend to be quite friendly and helpful. Not sure what has happened in the past, but pretty happy with the service I have received. Keep up the good work!

They charged my husband's credit card with a membership fee even though he had never agreed to membership. They do not answer the phone and have yet to reply to my message. I believe that in past years they have also charged unauthorized membership fees.

I saw in an article that Heartland America had a new CEO Kendra Reichenau, who in an article talked about her love for the customer, so I decided to write her an email and see if that were really true. Within an hour and half of sending her an email she responded and left her personal cell phone number. She really put her money where her mouth is and took care of this problem over and above what I expected. She is really trying to turn that company around one customer at a time. I have confidence in a company now that I never did. I would buy from them knowing she is at the helm.

Do not buy from this company. They use deceptive advertising, then hide behind their "vendor". They ripped my uncle off who is 91 years old, a retired US Air force Master Sergeant, over a $300 computer. He has not been outside since covid started and his only connection to the outside world is his email. He ordered a computer from Heartland because he said in the past they were a good company, not anymore. The computer he received has an unlicensed copy of Windows 10, so much dust and dirt in the fan it was barely running and this was suppose to be "renewed". Then they claimed he must have been confused and am mistaking an old computer for the one they sent him. He doesn't have an old computer. We filed with the BBB but they did nothing, they are a joke too. Very disappointed.

I purchased several items from Heartland, Cordless Thermometer, Face Shields, etc., and in-fact paid extra for priority shipping. After waiting weeks, I contacted their organization only to get placed on hold 3 times, and when I finally spoke to a person I only got the run-around. Further in checking my charges, they double charged my credit card for the items I never received. This is my second and last order ever to them. Their products are junk and of poor quality and customer service is horrible. Lastly, what is stated in their catalog is not often what you will receive. Beware!!

I purchased a Boytone stereo system from them thru a flyer received in the mail. Shipping was fairly quick at about 12 days after ordering. The item was packed well. Upon setting the system I found one speaker will not work immediately upon turning the stereo on! It was broke before I plugged the unit in for the first time. I called their customer service after looking at a search via Google. I had sent them four messages via their web site "contact us" and after five days No one contacted me. When finally speaking to a customer service rep, they were very rude. The guy I spoke to was very short...sounded angry in fact after each question I asked. Now he tells me the stereo was shipped directly from the manufacturer and I had to call them first for warranty! What!
Called the manufacturer...They gave me a runaround. Now I have to call the seller back....Heartland America to get some invoice number that was t on my receipt. Call them...more runaround. Get some information for the manufacturer. Call them again....They tell me to send it back to them....AT MY OWN EXPENSE MIND YOU! I raise hell about it with three people at Boytone. Long story short....don't even think about buying their cheap...China made **! I got two other items with the stereo order. All cheap China made items. Still no stereo returned two weeks later. We'll see where this goes...I learned to stay away from Heartland America or should be called "Cheap China Made America!"

When I called to ask why my order still had not arrived, the customer service supervisor refused to track the shipping information and said all their orders to Chicago were "delayed or returned due to the riots." I live three counties and 50 miles away from Chicago - no riots here. I eventually received the order but returned it due to poor quality. It has been over three weeks and Heartland still has not refunded my money or credited my account. All of my paperwork was correct, including copies of documentation from UPS and notes from the customer service phone call. I can not speak to the quality of their items, but their service is astonishingly poor. I will not order from them in the future.

I ordered a Greenhouse 10 days ago, they are saying that they deliver in 5-7 days. I placed the order Saturday 6/6/2020. I still didn't get even the tracking number. I called many times their Customer service, they take forever to answer (if you are whiling to order from Heartlandamerica.com expect to waste a lot of time+money. In addition they keep on telling me that, "We will send you an email" but I'm still waiting for the tracking number to show up. Very unsatisfied. Thank you for wasting my time and money!!!!

Order date was 1/21/20 - antenna was guaranteed to work on an old tv and required no additional accessories. Cost. $24.99 + tax, shipping, & order processing = total $34.73. Antenna would not work. BTW, the tv works fine when linked to my provider. Returned to HA (they rec’d. 2/10) at my cost - USPS$8.25. They have an in house policy/process to delay handling returns for refund and a return processing fee of $2.95. My total cost to buy and return a DEFECTIVE product was $46.23. Their credit of $23.54 was received 3/9 - taking nearly a month - given their so-called “process”. Overall, my net cost (loss in their “process”) was $22.69. This is just one of two purchases, both defective. Who needs it???

Purchased a heater from them. Did not receive the product shown on their site. The enclosed remote was not the same as in the instruction book. Mind you they used KPT_1502S for all literature. I requested a pre-paid return label from them. Let me see if they make good.

On July 22, Heartland received my return of a dash camera which had a defective suction cup for mounting the camera to the windshield. It is now August 29, and still my refund is "In Process". I paid $24.99 plus tax for the unit and paid the USPS $8.20 to return it. I would strongly recommend that this company be avoided due to their poor (and possibly dishonest) response to requests for refunds.

This company is a band of criminals. I made a major order of about $750 and it's over three months and haven't received anything. Every time I call they say the ENTIRE order is on back order because of the "tariff" issues with Trump. Fine. But the whole order? Yeah right! After about a month and a half they don't let you get a word in edgewise and are the rudest company I have EVER dealt with and I order online and out of catalogs a lot because I'm retired. I just got off the phone and they were so rude. I turned it on speaker so my wife could hear. She was stunned because she thought I have been exaggerating.
I said, "Just please refund my money to my credit card." And they say the order was already cancelled so I wasn't charged. Well we were three months ago charged. I rejected that explanation and asked to speak to a supervisor and was on hold for 48 minutes. Then they said the same thing by an even more rude lady and hung up on us. It shows on this review site that they are nearly five stars yet you scroll down and every review is one star. If I could give them no star I would. Something needs to be done about them but nobody cares these days. Lesson learned. Whatever you do "DO NOT" do business with this company!

Two months ago I made my order for a hearing enhancer. Today I’m told it is AGAIN “on backorder” after being told it was available at the time of order. I’ve made numerous calls, the most recent today, and spoke to a supervisor who told me to quit threatening her when I said I would cancel the order and make a negative review online. I know of at least a dozen people who have made orders with HA and NOBODY ever gets their order...ALWAYS on backorder. The supervisor tells me this is out of their control...With this many items in so many different categories constantly on backorder maybe the vendor list should be reviewed! I don’t think everything ordered is “a best seller and sells out quickly”! BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY EVEN IF THE ITEM IS AVAILABLE AT THE TIME OF THE ORDER.

I bought a solar spotlight and car backup camera from Heartland America this January. Both did not work. I had to pay an installer $175 on the camera to install and remove the faulty camera. Do not buy anything from them at all. Gary **, Boring OR.

Do not order ANYTHING from this company. I ordered New Balance running shoes for my husband via phone because their website was having issues. The representative was short and unconcerned about my order which should have made me cancel the order before giving her my credit card number. I double checked with her several times as to the size and to make sure the email address was correct. I requested a confirmation email which I did not receive. I had a bad feeling about my order experience when I hung up, but still had hoped that the rep was just having a bad day and my order would arrive as requested.
A few days later my order did arrive, but they were the wrong size! I returned them, per enclosed instructions, but had to pay the shipping fee. I called customer 3 times to complain. The number put me on hold 15 minutes the first try. I could no longer wait, so I tried again the next day: the number was no longer in service. The third try I searched for another number. There were none, so I tried the original number again. Someone answered and it took 41:26 minutes on hold to get a representative. Of course, there were a multitude of excuses and numerous errors by the original representation, but, “She truly is a good representative.” Not true, when major errors occurred. Or maybe she is doing as she is instructed.... deceive the customers. In conclusion, I was to receive a refund, and a coupon. Neither have happened. Do not use this company.

I purchased the Lithium battery operated hand held air compressor at Christmas time for my inflatable boat fenders this summer. The battery held a charge with no use after a full charge for one month. I charged it again and again dead in one month. Again and same thing. Lithium batteries don't go totally dead in one month. I emailed them twice stating I believe the battery is defective and I received no reply either time. Their website states "Customer Satisfaction is our top priority". Don't believe it at all. One star for this company from me.

I ordered 2 pairs of women's shoes on 3/12/2019. I was emailed by the company that the order was shipped on 3/14/2019. My bank acct. (via a Visa Check Card) was debited for $82.97. I received another email on 3/19 that the package was delivered. I had NOT received it. I emailed them about it, my emails (2) were never answered. I had to call and wait 40 minutes for someone to pick up. I was told I could get a replacement or a refund, wait a couple more days to see if it arrived. It did not. I called them again, and asked them to reverse the charges on my Visa card. They would not, and would not replace it. Instead, they said I should ask my bank to open a dispute with Visa for the original charge, and reorder the shoes and pay for them again. I told them that I will not reorder, nor buy anything from them again.

I purchased two pair of slippers in Jan. I returned them within one week of purchase, on Feb. 2. Per tracking on return Heartland America received return on Feb. 9. After waiting 3 weeks and still no refund, I called. I was informed they were "very behind in the return dept." It will take at least 3-4 weeks to receive my refund. It is now March 14. I have called two more times, to only get a recording, once recording is done, it hangs up. I have emailed them at and am waiting for a response. I will NEVER buy anything from this company again. There is absolutely no reason for not giving a refund. Not to mention having to pay to return the product that was not a good fit for either my husband or myself.

My elderly Uncle sent a check to this company in January 2019. They cashed it immediately. After a month and 4 notices of the product not being available - he canceled the order and requested a refund. Weeks went by no refund. He asked for my help. I sent an email which took days for them to answer. Check was cut and mailed they said, 3 to 6 weeks. I emailed a 2nd time concerning 3 to 6 weeks. Was then told they only cut checks every 3 weeks or so, which was not what the first email said. STILL waiting on his refund.

Contacted via email Heartland America over a week ago, I was told they would contact me within 48 hours. A week went by and no one contacted me. I contacted them again a little upset, they responded within 24 hours. I was told to return the item with the original packaging, label, instructions. Everything had to be returned, purchase order, original invoice, (who saves all of this?) pay for the mailing back to them. I told them that's too much work and I threw out all of the stuff they wanted, and it doesn't pay to return it. I would just eat the loss and write a negative review about this issue. The item cost me $22.49, plus $2.99 processing fee, total $25.48. I dealt with similar issues with other serious companies and I was offered either a refund or a replacement, just throw the defective one out and they'll mailed me a new one. I'm a long time customer of HLOA, did not expect this treatment, needless to say I no longer will do business with this company.
