I wish I could give Avas Flowers zero stars. This was one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I ordered flowers for my wife at 7:00 AM as a surprise “just because” gift, expecting them to be delivered the same day as promised. The flowers were never delivered. What makes this even worse is the complete lack of customer service. I couldn’t get a straight answer about my order, couldn’t get anyone to provide a meaningful update, and felt like once they had my money, they no longer cared about fulfilling the order or helping me resolve the issue.

The entire purpose of sending flowers is to make someone’s day special, and Avas Flowers completely ruined that experience. Not only did they fail to deliver what I paid for, but they also failed to provide any level of customer support or accountability. I paid for a service that was never provided. My wife never received her flowers, and I was left wasting my time trying to figure out what happened. This company overpromises, underdelivers, and provides virtually no customer service when things go wrong. I would strongly recommend avoiding Avas Flowers and ordering directly from a reputable local florist instead. This was a complete disappointment from start to finish and one of the worst online ordering experiences I’ve ever had.

I would not use Avas Flowers. I ordered a floral arrangement for a very close family friend whose father passed away. I started to order the arrangement over the phone, but I told the lady I wanted to add a card message and since it was a rather personal message I would just do it all online. She was very pushy to get me to order over the phone which should have been a red flag honestly. She told me she would email me and I could reply to her email with the message and she'd add it to my order.

The message was never added and it was a rather heartfelt message and now the flower delivery is going to show up blank. This arrangement was very expensive so I am very disappointed they aren't even going to get my message. I called back for confirmation it was added, and every time you call you get a new customer service rep who hasn't a clue what you have already added or talked about prior, and you can never get the same person twice. It's such a scam. I bet the delivery will look very poor as well. I am so disappointed to have spent my money on this company. Be advised - do not use them.

What a horrible experience. I ordered a spray of sympathy flowers to be delivered to a funeral home before 11 o’clock the next morning. They said no problem and would even email me a picture of the arrangement before it was sent out. When I never got correspondence of the picture, I became nervous and I started calling. You can never get through to a live person. By 5 o’clock that same day., well after the funeral service was over. I finally was able to speak someone and they told me that they substituted it for a different arrangement and they can deliver it to the family members home since it wasn’t delivered to the funeral home. I told them no, I wanted a refund. They did not want to refund the money to me. It took nine different phone calls and a lot of angry words to get them to refund the money to me. These are horrible unethical people who are just ripping people off with absolutely no sense of decency.

If I could give a 0 review I would! I definitely should have looked into them more before I made my order. I'm not even sure how these people are still in business. I placed an order 4 days before the delivery date. On the date of delivery I received an email saying it couldn't be delivered because it was a same day order. Trying to get a real person on the customer service number was a nightmare. I was hung up on several times after being placed on hold. Then sent to a survey, which I absolutely did. They couldn't tell me the flowers were even being delivered. The flowers were finally delivered, but they didn't put the card in there!!! When I finally spoke to them they tried to tell me I was in the wrong and didn't put a card. This place is a joke! Don't waste your money with these people and use a local flower shop!

I ordered a bouquet from the website called Sweetest Surprise. Immediately got a text saying to contact them because what I ordered was not available. I contacted them and was placed on hold for 45 minutes. They explained they had a more expensive bouquet in the same colors they would send. It wasn’t even close. The replacement was a dozen roses in yellow, red, and orange. Was supposed to be pastels in pink, lavender, and white. I called customer service and was told I approved the change. I said only for another arrangement in the same colors.

I was so frustrated I asked for a refund and they said no because the flowers already shipped. I said where from and they said Kentucky. They advertised as a local florist in Smithville, TN (pop 5000). Every person I spoke with had a strong ** accent and the calls were coming from Delaware. They said they would refund me $30.00 which I’m waiting for. Service fee was outrageous at $24.95, not including delivery. I’m going to contact my credit card tomorrow and tell them do not pay if I don’t see the credit card credit. Avoid this place if you want to keep your sanity. Trust the negative reviews!

These are the worst of the Online suppliers. Their flowers appear beautiful on the website, but when you order, they call you back and indicate that a substitution is required then they minimize the substituted product for as base a product as they can deliver and they will not give refunds. We paid for a beautiful fresh cut flower arrangement and they sent 12 sunflowers as the full arrangement. This is ridiculous. They are dishonest, and I would never ever use them again.

I used Avas Flowers for the first time to have flowers delivered to my mother on Mother's Day. I ordered an arrangement of 30 mixed red roses and carnations, but what my mother received was nothing like the picture shown on the website. The arrangement only had 21 roses and carnations and looked a fraction of the size shown when I selected the item. I will not be using these company again.

Sending flowers to someone is a heartfelt expression of love. So when want to send flowers, I advise you to not go through Ava’s. It is the poorest customer service and false advertising I have ever experienced. Check out the pics. I ordered the flowers on the Left. My daughter got the flowers on the right, not in a vase (that one is hers). I paid $37.99 and about that much for shipping handling- $78 for a handful of flowers!
