There was a piece that my friend said I might be interested in 'cause it was related to my hobby, and I was. I bid on it and I won it. The process was flawless. Just call, stay on the phone, and see what happens. If you're trying to watch it, there's a little delay, but if you're on the phone, it's fine. Since then, I bought six more pieces from America's Value Channel. I didn't open any of the latest six because I'm in the middle of doing my house, but the first piece I opened, I love. My friend stands by them too, so I'm in good hands.

I purchased a KEF! original and it was very easy. I also got reasonable value, and I have my fingers crossed that it will arrive undamaged. I have received items previously and the quality is very good. I've had experiences where shipping started and stopped though. For instance, I'll get a notification from FedEx that something is shipped, and then it goes from having an arrival date to not having one and it goes into some state where I have not received them. There are two items that are like that right now. Apart from that, it's straightforward. I purchase from America's Value Channel because of authenticity and price.

    Original Review: Nov. 6, 2020

I've watched America's Value Channel on TV for a long time. I always watch it because it's more educational and I appreciate artwork and listen by history. One of the things that I've always liked about it is you hear about the different artists and I dig that kind of stuff. There were a couple things that I liked and then, I have family members who like certain things, which was why I bought a couple for gifts. As far as buying, it's a very easy thing to do. You call in and you'll get somebody that is on the phone and they do the bids that way. Then whoever gets the bid ends up getting the final one. I called their customer service before and they said that they ship twice a month. So they get everything, they pack it up, they get it all shipped up, and then they get the things and then it goes out. But it's usually about a two-week turnaround.

A couple of things I received recently had damage to the frames. So, I called their customer service and I talked to one woman. I told her that I took pictures of it and she told me to send it to her, which I did. I still haven't heard a word from them so I'm a little disappointed with that. I sent the email on October 14th and it has been almost a month and I specifically asked, “Please advise.”

The frames were not damaged in transit. They're very well bubble-wrapped when you get them and when I took all the bubble wrap off, I noticed it. I’ve ordered half a dozen things from there. Maybe even more but it's just two in particular that were blatantly obvious to where somebody colored a sharpie and blacked it out a little bit. I don't know why they wouldn't just take the time to correct it and send it out. The frame, which they add, is how they distinguish themselves from other auction houses. If they're gonna put a frame on it, at least send the frame not damaged. The artwork itself was not damaged but when you have a frame and literally, every time you watch that show, they pride themselves on how good and nice their frames are, and it makes their auctioneers look very foolish.

I became friends with one of the ladies that answers the phone when you do the bids. She liked four things I bought. She’s the one who answered the phone and I talked to her recently about it. She was gonna forward the information to somebody too. She was very kind. It's just the customer service aspect of it. But I called them about something else and had to get something reprinted and they sent it to me. There was no problem. Then, I’ve had two issues with the certificate of authenticity that they send. I need to get a replacement for one of them but I haven't called in yet. When they send these things out, I don't know if anybody actually looks at it.

Right now, I’m very dissatisfied. I told the girl that I've become friends with that I may not order from them again. I do sales for a living and if I didn't respond back to one of my customers, I would be without a job. It doesn't matter what you sell. It’s customer service and satisfaction. That's word of mouth and a lot of times, that's what brings you more business but I figured they would probably credit.

I like art. I love the purchase of my first two from America's Value Channel. I purchased $5,000 worth of art and then I purchased a couple more later. But because one was gonna be a gift, I returned it and they took it back. The other one had no glass. It's an original oil painting and I wanna return that because there's no protection on the oil. Right now, I haven't heard anything. I'm having a rough time returning it. If they do not return it, I'll never buy from them again.

We bought one of Josh Mayhem's sculptures, Pegasus, from America's Value Channel and it was great. I was able to get it at a really good price. Then my mom bought a ton of paintings too. It's nice to be able to turn on the television and be able to purchase art. My mom and I are both VIP art collectors of Park West, so we understand values and pricing. America's Value Channel is a neat service. They need to change it though ‘cause my mom said it's getting a little repetitive. After you watch a few weekends in a row, it's pretty much the same thing.

I was channel surfing and America's Value Channel caught my eye. I've never seen anything like that before. The bidding has been fine and everything so far has been as advertised. I liked the idea that they have a little bit of everything across the spectrum. They have a little bit from pop art, classic, landscape, the new street art. Because that's what I'm interested in. I'm not just a particular collector of one style or whatever I like, where I can have a broad-based selection. Everything is positive, but there is one thing that irritates me a little bit. There are times when they’re really dragging out the bid way too long. Also, lately, there have been some technical issues, but overall, I've been very satisfied with everything.

A friend told me about America's Value Channel then I watched it and I fell in love with it. I've been a serious shopper with them. I didn't have near the amount of art that I now have since I've been watching it. There are four nights and two different auctioneers. One of them in particular is extremely educational. The other one's educational too, but he's a little more of an auctioneer than the latter. They're very forthcoming in what they tell you and the potential investment of it. I haven't been disappointed in any of the art or the condition that I've received. I may have 18 to 20 of their pieces.

It's very easy to make purchases. You just go online and access the website, but you have to enter your cell phone number. You also have to talk to somebody the first time and share a debit or credit card and then you’re on the list. Anytime you call, they know who it is. The great thing is you then have access to their website the week of the auction, which is going to give you a preview of all the art that's gonna be shown each night. I watch it a lot, but when I find nothing there of interest, I don't bother to include it in a schedule. All in all, It's been excellent. The people have been so pleasant as well. I could not be more satisfied than I am.

America's Value Channel has great prices and great works of art. The acquisition for bidding is easy and it has top quality. I don't think one can find better in galleries. It comes exactly as set up and has a certificate of authenticity, which guarantees that that's what it is for life. It includes good frames, which is very unusual. No gallery does it, typically. Everybody's been good to deal with, especially the person that helps me purchase, so I've used her many times for what I buy. She's dialed in and pretty quickly in getting me the last bid. Her name’s Jennifer. It's a fantastic experience overall.

The staff at AVC was terrific and the quality of the pieces is remarkable. I only wish I have a lot more money to buy stuff. It's gorgeous things. My last purchase was a week ago. I have the stuff sent to my office and then I bring them home because I don't want to take any chances for UPS to leave it at the front door or something.

It is a pleasure dealing with AVC. Sometimes, you'll find an interesting piece that's a few hundred years old, which is very nice, and it's very nice to pick up some original oil works of new artists that are relatively unknown in the United States. I've been collecting artwork for a long time and I know that they will be more valuable as time goes on. My collection really has greatly improved over the last few months with the recent acquisitions. I hope my children and grandchildren wind up enjoying them.

I'm interested in the fine arts and there's no trouble making the bidding over the phone with America's Value, but it's always very difficult to get in touch with the consumer service people. I've had two wrong deliveries as well. In one case, the wrong picture was sent to me, and we went through a long ordeal of attempting to correct the problem. I am a very good customer. I've spent tens of thousands of dollars on art and I had a very difficult time. Eventually, things got settled, but it seemed to take a tremendous amount of time. The communication between the clerk or the consumer helper and the people who deal with the paintings themselves seemed to be very disconnected. In any case, I'm continuing to be a buying customer. I intend to be a client. I buy every week and everything is fine

The spokespersons on television, Mitch Carter and Ray Taylor, are excellent. They're very knowledgeable and they speak the truth. They do a very fine job. Also, the certificates of authenticity are accurate and there's a good selection of art to choose from. There's a website for the fine arts program for AVC as well, and you can go there and check out a couple of days before the auction. For example, there's going to be an auction today on Friday night, and I've already checked out what art is on the menu. That's very helpful.

I've always been an art lover and I have a lot of art in my house. Before I purchased from America's Value Channel, I looked online for people's comments and there were some bad and some good. It seemed the company was legit, so I thought I'd give them a try. I took my chances for the first couple of pieces, and now I've spent a lot of money with them. They're a good service and I'm satisfied. I'm able to buy conveniently online. Three weeks ago, I purchased a KEF! original. The process was easy and the quality was fine. I used to be an art dealer. I might frame some of the pieces a little differently than what they framed, but other than my overall taste, that's the only issue.

They seem to be nice people. I had one lady named Karen that I was going to all the time. I've bought quite a bit of art in the last six months from these guys. If I'm getting ready to bid on something, I like to be able to call up and ask for the same person. That way, they get to know me and how I do things instead of each time dealing with somebody new.

I watched America’s Value Channel for quite a while. The auctioneers seem knowledgeable. The references are decent. I bought and collected art from other places from either the artist or from galleries. The first couple of things that I bought were of good value. It seems America's Value Channel represents a lot of French artists, either from a collection or from just connections. The first thing I bought came and it looked as represented, so I became more comfortable with it with time. Bidding over the phone was easier than it is at a live auction.

The only time I ever get frustrated is, a lot of times, they don't know what's coming up, whereas in an auction house, you would have a catalog so you know what is coming up. There are a few actual artists that I have seen where I said, “Hey, I might be interested in this guy if he comes up.” But I have to keep watching all the time, and I do. But sometimes, they get bogged down. They take a little too long to lower the hammer on something.

One of the things that would be a good thing is if they had a trailer across the bottom of the screen. They do occasionally put up a picture of such and such is coming up. I look at it, but if they bog down, I go back to look at news channel or whatever else, and then come back and forth. So, I would go on and off the channel because sometimes, they get bogged down, a Schlegel or somebody that they like. They don't think they're getting enough money for it, so they will hang on and talk it up, talk it up, talk it up. And it takes eight minutes or longer sometimes to sell an item on the articles that have more inherent interest right now. Like if it's a really good quality oil painting rather than a lithograph or whatever else.

Sometimes the pace is faster. Sometimes the pace drags and gets a little slow. But if there was a way to highlight the items that they've had good responses to in the past to be able to tell, in five paintings from now, this guy's coming up. Because I have definitely more interest in certain things than I do in others. Rather than having to spend watching TV from 7 o'clock till midnight, which I'm not gonna do as much as I like art, I'm not gonna do that three nights a week, that if they had a way to say these artists are potentially coming, and give in 30 minutes or at five items or whatever else because I'm pretty sure there were times that I missed things I would be interested in simply because I've changed channels and gone to something else and been distracted and not gone back to the art channel. There are probably a number of us that watch intermittently because when Ray gets bogged down in something, it slows things down.

When I’m at a real auction or even an online auction for an auction house, like Charlton Hall, Columbia, South Carolina, they have a catalog. America's Value Channel can't have a catalog or probably don't want to go to the trouble of having a catalog. They could do that online, however. But if they just had a way to give us a clue as to what may be up that night and about when it will be, then if it's something I'm really interested in, I'm gonna make sure that I’m on for that. Where right now, it's exciting because you don't know what the hell is coming up. But probably, in my case anyway, four out of five times, I'm not interested. I might be interested in something that comes up, but I miss it because I'm tired of looking at lithographs by somebody who I really have collected all I wanna collect from or just don’t want.

Other than that, America's Value Channel does a marvelous job. I never thought I would watch an on TV art channel as much as I watch them. Between 7:00 and midnight when they are on, I may go watch the news or I may go watch a show, but I would go back. If there’s a commercial, I go back to find out what’s on. And more often than not, I buy things that I'm not in the market for, but I'll be in the market with them.

I've seen American Value Channel for years. I flipped through the channels and saw it on TV. I saw something I liked and I thought I’d buy it. You just call them up and if you wanna bid, you bid. if you don't, you don't. It’s no big deal. If I like it, I bid more. If it's too much, I quit. I bought a painting by Zero Gradient four weeks ago. I liked it and it didn't go too high. If it would have gone higher, I would have quit.

I liked the first painting that I bought from AVC. But the frame on the second one I bought has got an oil mix and it has two little nicks but you can't see them unless you get closer. In one corner, the frame is pulling apart just a little bit. The guys that wrapped it up might have dropped it a little bit and just kept wrapping it. I cannot believe that it happened in shipping because they had that thing wrapped so good. You could have dropped it off the roof of the house and it would not be damaged. I could send it back, fool with that, or I could forget about it. I'm a perfectionist, so if I see anything, I freak out. But I was not gonna go through the hassle. If I'm not happy with this frame, I could always take it to a frame shop here and get a frame I like better, and spend a few hundreds. I’d tell somebody that if they're gonna buy a painting, this could happen and they can send it back. There wouldn't have been any problem if I would've said that I wanted the frame fixed.

I still bought another painting after that because the painting is fine. Stuff happens and the price wasn't bad. There were five of them in that series and I paid 1,800 for that picture. The other one sold for 2,900 plus and the other three went over 1,000 higher. And you got the other cost of tax so, people paid even more than that. They're just different colors and then, one went for the same price. So, it was not that big a deal. I love the painting. My third painting was perfect and I bought a KEF! and it was perfect too. I like what I bought, mostly Zero Gradients, and I'll buy something again. I'm not worried about damage because I got three perfect. If you like them, you buy them. If you don't like the price, you don't buy it. So, I never had any problem with bidding. I'm happy. If I was unhappy with them, I wouldn't buy anything else. I'd be done with it.

I stumbled upon the fine art auction on the internet. I see them on DirecTV. I was going through different channels and found it. I've already been an art collector for several years. I watched America's Value Channel for probably three weeks before I bought anything. I'd taken the first few pieces I bought from them and had them authenticated, and they're authentic. So, I've been buying since then. They have good prices on some things that you'd have to pay 10 times as much for an art gallery.

I just bought a John Duggan last Saturday and it came into the mail today. The quality is fine, and the framing is top-notch. But they over exaggerate how much they pay to have stuff framed. I’ve got two favorites and one is Albrecht Dürer Lifetime 1597. I bought that about three years ago. The other was probably the Pablo Picasso Lithograph hand signed.

When AVC is trying to compare one piece of art to another piece of art by the same artist, they run through it so fast that you can’t see that the ones they’re putting is the price on and is hand-signed. There are thousands of dollars difference with the stone-signed. They do it on purpose but I can tell the difference. I go check it before I buy it. I’ve seen that some of their reviews on the online is not very good. But most of the reviews online is not about the art. I don’t see anything bad about the art. So, if one guy says it wasn’t authentic, he bought a frame. There’s a guarantee on this. If it’s not authentic, you can get your money back. But I’ve never tried to do it so maybe I’m wrong.

I know about contemporary and pop art, and America's Value Channel had some Miro’s that are lithographs. They're numbered and signed. I know prices of this stuff. AVC also have some of the Warhol’s, Shepard Fairey, Striker and Zero Gradient. And they can get good prices on some of the posters. So, it all depends on what you're looking for. If you're knowledgeable, you can probably find prices that are good depending on the night also. I bought most of the Myths Series of Warhol Series. There are 10 and the last piece I bought was one of them. I was surprised that they even had these pieces on. But my favorite is the Dines and I’ve got some. One’s a hammer and one’s a top hat.

The quality of the items is good. I had a couple where I looked them up and I was not sure with the price that I should have paid. You can find them cheaper on some of the other sites but maybe it's because these are some of the stone-signed and some people bid them up. There was a couple over the year where I called AVC and I told them that I didn’t even know if this is really worth this. They said that if I was not happy, I didn’t have to take it. So, that’s good service.

The guys that do the auction talks too much though. They wanna try and get the highest price they can, so sometimes, he goes on and on. You're just waiting for him to throw the hammer and now you're at another thousand dollars. In other auctions that aren’t televised, if you go and you’re sitting there, these guys don’t tell you and talk and talk. They're not giving you all this information about the artist but with the auction on TV, they do. So, this is not just an auction but also an art education. I had a positive and excellent experience with AVC.

They have an artist that they offer a screenprint on, where you don't pay a buyer's premium. They've been doing that at each auction, but they're about finished with that. So, I've taken advantage of that. My latest purchase was a couple of weeks ago, and I bought one of those screenprints. I've always been very satisfied with the quality. I'm pretty big on William Blake and Salvador Dali. I live in a pretty big old farm house. I like to use art to decorate within the house. I was really glad that I bought the Andy Warhol canned soup which is very large. I put it in a certain spot and it really set up the kitchen.

There were some questions that I have had and Ray and Mitch are pretty knowledgeable about what they’re talking about. However, sometimes, it seems like I've had excessive shipping and other fees. I’ve received a picture yesterday which was a Salvador Dali, and it was extremely reasonable. If I only paid say $450 for a picture, it's going to be less because of the 10% winners bid and fees. But other times I've paid over $400 in fees for the price of what the picture was. Also, there is a place on the receipt that I get that says coupons but I've never seen any coupons and I don't know what that means. I pay a lot of money and I would like to know about these coupons.

I've been collecting art. We have a host of distribution companies. We design rooms, kitchens, bathrooms and other rooms in homes. We also sell finished products, artwork and everything in the designs. Someone had told me about a few of the new auctions that were out there that I hadn't seen. ‘Cause usually it's either online eBay, Sotheby's, live auctioneers and then we found out about the service of America's Value Channel. So, we started using it.

The purchasing process was very easy. They can have the auctions on television, but they should just have their online area that you can pick from. It'll be so nice to be able to watch it live, or log in somewhere and just click to bid. Once you're approved and once you have a password, why not log in and just be able to bid. The other thing would be, if they would extend their catalog out online before the auctions so you could see all the lots, not just specific lots. Because there's no way you can sit for five hours and watch an auction not knowing what's coming up next without having a catalog in front of you. All the auction houses that we've ever dealt with have a catalog, you can go down and say, “Okay, I'm gonna be looking at lot number 14, 27, 75,” whatever it is.

On their website, they only put up some key pieces. The rest of it, you have to watch for. So, we missed a few things that we were trying to buy for clients ‘cause we didn't know they were gonna be on and they passed by. Then somebody called me the next day and said, “Did you see that we missed that piece?” I was like, “It wasn't even advertised.” They just threw it into the auction. So, if they could get more in-depth with their auction details, it would be great. But the quality of their items has been phenomenal.

My experience with AVC has been fun. I’ve bought about 100 pieces over the last few months from them and everything we've got so far has always been exactly as it's been represented. I've got some things that I would not have been able to get from any other sources. They've been attractive to me in the last few months. During COVID, a lot of their artwork has been sold for lower than normal prices. However, since some of the people who are working for AVC are not in the studio, it puts that customer at a slight disadvantage. They only have three people in the studio. Everybody else is taking phone calls. They're having to type things into the computer and there's more of a delay. If you happen to have one of those three people, you're kind of a little bit closer to what's going on and you can make better decisions right at the end. But Tony tried to do a good job to make sure he gave enough time for everyone to get their bid in at the end.

A big portion of the business is quality framing. You really get a good value but only because that's what Tony's doing every day. They're doing close to 100 pieces they’re framing a week and they're good at it. They're using quality materials. The only issue is that it's Plexiglas in front of the artwork instead of either non-glare glass or a museum glass. You can't even tell it’s there. I understand that they're having trouble transporting stuff but the Plexiglas certainly doesn't do the artwork justice. That's the only thing from a quality standpoint. It’s too bad they can't figure out a way to do better.

We could have an option to where we could pay more for a higher level glass. But the issue with that is that most of these things are already framed. They'd have to go back into the frame shop to take it out and put the other glass in before you get it which would delay you're getting your art. But if I would take it to a frame shop to redo it, then it could cost me probably more than what Tony would charge if he wanted to upgrade the glass. All the frame shops are really expensive.

They could also do a better job in their catalog. They could put in the dimensions of the artwork when they put it out in the catalog. They wait till they get on the show to put the dimensions on. Potentially, it could be perceived by the government as being a little bit deceptive in the sense that you've got somebody to get on the line and maybe start the bidding process even, and even bid on something before they've actually measured it. That might be misleading a little bit. Some consumer groups might be upset that you're getting somebody emotionally involved to the piece before they even realize it wasn't as big as they thought it was.

Sometimes the explaining of things on the certificate of authenticity especially when they say “signed” isn't always detailed out. Is it hand signed? Is it signed on the on the stone in the lithograph? Is it signed in the etching in the copper? Is it signed inverse in the back? Is it originally a giclee? If the editions is 150, what’s the number of the total edition or the number in the editions? There's no reason why they shouldn't put that up on the catalog as well. All that information is on the certificate of authenticity but again, it's not shown until after the auction process has already started and it’s put up on the screen and it’s taken down.

Sometimes they got to be careful about when they're putting up pieces of artwork on the internet and trying to show the value of the artwork based upon the fact that it's being offered for sale somewhere else. Sometimes, those comparisons are not the same. Sometimes they're not the same piece of artwork which is fine but one may be hand-signed and one's not. A lot of times, if you don't go on places that are selling the art so you understand what the value is, you might be misled by when they pull up stuff on the screen that something is for sale at some galleries someplace. It may not exactly match up what they're comparing. I do recommend AVC to people with that caveat emptor that you've got to know what you're buying.

Bidding over the phone was a lot simpler than I thought it ever would be and the pieces of artwork that I bought from them are very interesting and good variety. We had some friends come over and they were quite surprised. But it was tough getting anything via FedEx or UPS. FedEx was a disaster and we paid a premium to ship via UPS when FedEx could not get things delivered mid to late summer. Other than that, the reps that we talked to were good folks. We have a gal that we call specifically and we've got her direct call-in number. We deal with her almost exclusively because she's reliable and competent. But we prefer not to tell anybody anything good about America's Value Channel because then, we're going to be competing against them.

After two weeks, I began to contact AVC, via telephone, to inquire as to the status of my refund. On three separate occasions, I was told I would be reimbursed on Friday. I then sent an email to Customer Service and received no response. After four weeks, I finally contacted The BBB who was able to obtain a refund within the five days.

The host makes false claims on every show I've watched. She states that you cannot find items like these anywhere, they're so rare, we've only seen two of these in seven years, etc. BS . . . Google any of the merchandise they sell, and you'll not only find their "rare finds" on other on-line websites and vendors, it will be better quality for several hundred dollars less. Some of the items they sell is merchandise I have personally purchased on HSN and QVC for a fraction of the price in "brand new" condition. Have been watching a number of coin sales channels. One coin sales program has excellent coins at premium prices; so I enjoyed seeing a new program (America's Value Channel). I have placed 3 orders with them. Two orders fairly close together. My orders were based on what was displayed on the TV. Coins that were graded by NGC or PCGS were pretty much as shown; but the uncircumcised coins and mint sets, as shown, were not of the same quality. Coins were heavily bag-marked, scratched deeply - supposed to be uncirculated.

Mint sets had very toned coins, deep scratches in the original government packaging. Not anywhere near the quality shown, I could send the coins back and then go through the problem of trying to get what I PAID for rather than a refund. What I ordered and what I got was borderline bait-and-switch advertising. Highly deceptively. And beware; their certified coins are not always graded coins by a recognized grading agency.

My mother used my credit card to purchase a painting from this TV show and it was declined at first. This company put it back through a few weeks later and it was delivered by FedEx to my home. The FedEx driver dropped it off in the rain and signed a name that was on the package that was not my name nor my mothers'. It was her first name and my last name. She called and told the company she was sending it back. We never opened the box and sent it back UPS. I disputed it with my credit card and they said the charge was valid because the merchant claimed they never got it back. They did get it back and I now have the UPS confirmation as well as the fax that the AVC channel sent with the photo of the box and tracking number with the UPS tracking number of them getting it back. They must have sent that on accident to my bank.

I called my bank back stating yes, they did get all that info because the bank kept saying no it was a valid charge that my tracking number didn't have the street address and only that it said the town and Kim at the front desk signed. They told to dispute with UPS. I called AVC and the lady who said she was the manager Rita said (I recorded her) didn't get our money back because we said we didn't order it. She said I needed to email her my credit card picture and she would credit me back. I accidentally wrote her email down incorrectly so called back to talk to her. She answers in one voice and then has a different one when she is the manager. Then she said, "Oh no. The painting was damaged so you are not getting your 1100 back."

I told her I have video proof they were reselling it in Sept. (we returned it in August of 17). She said I was mistaken but if you look at the paperwork and the tv recording the numbers of the item match. Then she said she would look into it. So, I then said her we never opened the box and if it's damaged where is it? She said, "Oh honey, they threw it in the garbage." She never returned my call. I emailed her and said I am going to the police, which I plan to go to tomorrow after seeing all of these complaints. I have never heard of anyone not giving someone their money back for an item that we don't even have and we didn't damage. Someone please help me. I purchased several pieces of art based solely on the alleged gallery price. As a real estate appraiser, I understand the importance of comparable sales. AVC loudly touted certain comparable sales by the same artist by respected auction houses ranging from $10,000 to $35,000 over the past 20 years. They proclaimed, based on this information, that the art for sale had a gallery price of $21,000. Prior to receiving the painting, I subscribed to a pricing service, looked up the artist and found, not the same painting, sold at an auction a scant 2 months earlier for $642! Not included in all the similar paintings by the same artist was the comparable sale for the article for sale. I have to believe that failing to disclose it is fraud.

Beware, many of the items currently for sale have been in recent auctions and sold in the low hundreds. Prior to bidding on anything, get a pricing service. Another art auction site, when selling Alexandria Nechita lithographs, quoted a comparable price of $23,000. While lithographs did have similar asking prices when personally painted or embellished by Nechita, every lithograph for sale was for sale at ArtBrokerage.com for as low as $2,000 and there were numerous copies for sale of most, if not all.

As others have complained, I cannot get them on the phone to get a return number for the item. Last May, I purchased a ring from AVC which was to be mounted by them. It was a 14K mounting and a 1.68 Jambalo Tourmaline. I received the ring in late July and within three hours of wearing it that same day, the stone fell out. This was not the first time that I had trouble with their mountings. I immediately called Rita who I had purchased the ring from and she asked me to call customer service the next day, which I did. I was given a return number and that same day, mailed it insured (this was only the setting) to AVC.

The package was received at AVC on 28 Jul 10 at 1:28 PM by L. **. The information was given to me by the post office. I waited to be contacted by AVC to no avail. I have made at least 15 long distant telephone calls, faxed the shipping receipts twice to Isis and called Rita at least ten times. I still (and this is seven months later) have not had a single contact from them regarding this matter. And after spending close to $16,000.00 with this company, I will never do any business with them. They have defrauded me of the money I spent on this ring and must feel that customers don't matter.

We purchased a set of graded coins. When we received the coins, the containers that house the coins were damaged. All dinged up, scratched, and chipped. It was like buying a beautiful painting and the frame is beat to hell. We were displeased with our purchase and wanted a complete refund.

Had a horrific time with customer service trying to get our money back for damaged merchandise (an experience we will never forget). They would lie, they wouldn't return calls, and they were just totally unprofessional. Luckily, we documented all actions and thankfully our credit card company got us our refund. Dealing with this company was a mental and physical nightmare. We lost $50, the cost to return the damaged merchandise. Would never, ever, do business with this place again! Also, we’re telling everyone we know not to do business with them as well.

I have found I'm not alone in being scammed by this company. They have not credited/reimbursed me for one item (of the many) returned. I have emails from them stating they needed more time, though I left one ring out of a return and they called immediately and I found it (I had taken it out of the box & forgot to put it back in) and sent it asap and yet, even after admitting they had the first ring I returned that was over $1k, they to this day have not refunded me a penny.

So now they have not only those two items but every other return I sent and my money. How can a company stay in business when they continue to do this? They owe me over $8k, not counting interest (which on a credit card is ridiculous). I spend day after day, basically a full time job, contacting everyone there from sales people to customer service reps (I got to know so well she's a friend on MySpace) to one of the partners and nothing. One of the owners is in the family of owners of Underwoods Jewelers in Jax, FL and don't know how they can continue to steal from people and have the AVC on TV as well as Underwoods Jewelers in Jax with no consequences. I'm facing possible bankruptcy and they just continue to steal. Please help me get my life back!

I bid on another mandarin garnet ring (bigger garnet) and won when I was sent to get proper sizing etc, the customer service girl gave me such a ration of crap about not having the gem put in the mount that I got mad and said, just cancel the order!

I bid on auction for a mandarin garnet and diamond ring. I won the beautiful ring. Two weeks later, customer service calls me and says they "oversold this item" and did I want to wait another 3 weeks to get my ring when the new ones come in. I called them back 3 times and finally got a real person. I asked customer service "How can you oversell a product when I won the ring at auction?" She could not answer me. I told her, "No, I would not wait and to block my account and cancel my account." As far as I am concerned this company should not trusted.

I ordered 36 different gems from this channel during Marvin’s Room. I was so excited to get them in the mail to just be totally disappointed. He made them sound like they were worth a lot of money, and when I got them I took them to my local jeweler and he told me that they are very poor quality and really only worth what I paid for them if that even! I will never buy from this channel again.
