    I have been using Nutrisystem for 3 months. The food is mostly okay. Some of it is really awful and there are a few items that really taste good. They all are filling. But trying to delay a shipment or cancel is near on to impossible. I am receiving a shipment when I delayed a couple of months. I sat on hold for over an hour but had to hang up. I sent an email and did not receive a response after 48 hours. I am now on hold again and will cancel. Nutrisystem is expensive. There is really no support because who has time to be on hold for over an hour every time you have a question? Try another weight loss plan, one that uses your own food. I am very dissatisfied.

    I prepaid for 2 shipments with no intention of extending the commitment. With a moderate goal, and less than ideal results, I considered the business relationship done a month ago upon receipt of the 2nd shipment. Unfortunately and unexpectedly, my original payment account info was retained and I was billed for another order with no further authorization. It was just delivered after I'd been away/offline.... Nutrisytem will not take it back or make it right - I am simply out $360.

    First, horrible customer service, especially after being on hold for an hour!!! The dinner options are mushy and did not taste good at all!! Hot sauce did not improve the flavor. I am now on Factor and it is very tasty and works for weight loss. Portions are very satisfying. I divide my portion in half and add veggies and it is very filling. Stay away from Nutrisystem!!!

    IMHO Nutrisystem is an unethical, unprofessional company who sell barely edible food, provides no coaching and customer service would be more properly labeled customer disservice. I prepaid for 2 month 20 meal program and experienced shipping problems with my 2nd shipment. They quick shipped the 3rd shipment without warning and lied to me about supposedly sending "courtesy" email informing me of same. I never received them. Today I received notice about third shipment, label created at 9:13AM and not yet received by Fedex. Called before 10:00AM asking them to pull the shipment. They refused to cancel. I will be refusing Fedex delivery and disputing charge with my credit card company. IMHO, there has to be more ethical, customer oriented companies in the industry to deal with.

    Do not order this product. I ordered the 3 month plan. Not satisfied with my order. First order of frozen food was complete melted. Some items had been substituted for what they had in stock. If you order the 5 day plan for the 3 month period, you can’t get a refund.

    I placed an order on Saturday July 6. After my husband went online and read hundreds of negative reviews about Nutrisystem, he told me to cancel immediately. I tried calling that weekend but received recording to call back on Monday during business hours. When I called Monday morning after being on hold for 54 min and answering numerous questions, the male rep said he would cancel my order and I would not be charged since order had not shipped during the weekend. He sent me a confirmation email with cancellation number. However today Tuesday July 9 I received 2 emails stating my order was shipped. When I called the order department to give my cancellation number, I was told my order shipped, I could not cancel, I would be charged. The rep then disconnected my call and sent me to take a survey. What kind of company does that?

    I am a returning customer with Nutrisystem and have never been so dissatisfied this go around. I had a goal of losing 40 pounds and achieved that goal within about six weeks. I used the food that Nutrisystem provided initially, however, I was able to maintain and even lose weight eating healthier foods at reduced portions. While I appreciate what Nutrisystem has done for me, I no longer needed their services. I went to the website to try and cancel the program where I was only given a phone number that you had to call and talk to someone that very persistently tried to talk me into staying with Nutrisystem. She offered a reduced dollar amount for the next shipment, told me that it would be better to get the food and use them every other day, and that by not using the food would most definitely cause me to regain the weight.

    After telling the somewhat rude lady that I was not going to go forward with the program no matter what she said, she told me that there would be a $125 cancelation fee due to the promotion I received when I initially ordered. I told the lady to cancel my plan and expressed my frustrations, telling her that I would not be coming back ever, nor would I be recommending them to any of my Army friends and family. As soon as I hung up the phone, I received a notification that $125 was pulled from my checking account. It seems that they are quick with some things…

    Almost impossible to cancel. They have no online access to cancel so you have to call. When I called they ask a series of questions and then argue about your responses, stating did you follow the menu etc. Told them I do not have to answer their questions to cancel, please cancel and then they transfer you. I was transferred two times then put on hold so long I hung up. This happened 2 times. I finally got someone to cancel the 3rd time I called by threatening a BBB complaint. This was absolutely crazy! Harassed and argued with and then put in endless hold completely ignoring my right to cancel. Also has anyone actually figured out how to do a review on the Nutrisystem website? I have searched all over their site. While there are reviews I cannot find this to do one?

    I contacted customer service several times on behalf my mother who is 85 years old and hospitalized. I explained she cannot eat the food, and she is in the hospital, and needed to cancel. The first time I was informed of the 125 dollar cancellation fee, which is so unfair, but to avoid that whole thing, I agreed to one more month and figured I would try to sell the food myself for her. I stated to the customer service rep on the phone I wanted the plan cancelled after that as we would have fulfilled the 2 order minimum. Well, it was NOT cancelled and another order arrived that she cannot eat, even if she wanted to!

    I called again to explain this situation and they refused to help, I want to send the unopened box immediately back and be refunded but that apparently is not an option? I call this a not only a huge scam but a very uncaring and unprofessional way of doing business. They said they are glad to help?? Not even close! We did our part and fulfilled the minimum, and they do not stand behind their customers to do the right thing? This was an error on their part and I am not happy at all! Please do not order from this company, PLEASE!!!!

    Never got past the automatic enrollment into the program. I registered for a free month. Never received any food, then saw a charge for the second month. Upon calling they won't refund the charge even though I received nothing. The program set up is a scam. So, for $49.00 I disputed the charge and leave negative feedback for all to see. I would choose a different company. Good luck. Bad business practices.

    After seeing so many commercials for Nutrisystem, I decided to order. I did not realize that the food has Stevia and processed soy in it. I can't have either of these, as they cause serious intestinal issues. The food was okay, for the most part. I ordered for a 5 day a week program. After using it for 6 days, I realized that it was causing the problems I mentioned earlier. I wasn't asking for a refund. I just wanted to cancel. They are charging me $125 to cancel my next shipment, even though it shouldn't be due for 3 weeks. What a rip off! Also, the customer service person was rude, and kept trying to sell me more.

    I tried the 5 day plan and did lose 5 lbs. However the next 2 days, I gained 2 lbs back. 1000 calories per day does not work for me, not sustainable. I cancelled the plan beginning week 3. They offered other plans. I wanted to cancel. Since I just wanted to cancel and not just change to another plan, they charged me $125 cancellation fee. I wouldn’t recommend this plan to anyone.

    Just cancelled my order for their disgusting food and they let me know, "It will be 125.00 to cancel. It's in the disclosure we sent you." Not it bold print of course.

    This company should be out of business, Their food is inedible, better to buy Lean cuisine or Weight watchers from the store. Customer service is poor as well, Run as fast as you can from this website!!!!

    BUYER BEWARE. There should be an option for ZERO STARS for companies just like NUTRISYSTEM. The food is DISGUSTING, they offer a money-back guarantee AND if you cancel because they send you food not fit for an animal, they charge you $125.00. BUYER BEWARE.

    I’ve used Nutrisystem several times and it’s always been a good program. Somebody came in and really messed it up. The food is definitely falling off when you sign up they make you let them pick one week of food and the choices they give you they call them chefs pick, but they’re the worst ones on the menu.

    I heard the commercial over and over again about how people were losing so much weight. The 50+ Complete diet is loaded with carbs. They give you up to 7 days to get a refund. My total bill was $832. If I lost five pounds I was lucky. The dry food, I wouldn't feed to a dog. I ended up in the hospital with a backed up system, even though I accompanied the food with salads or vegetables. I don't have an underlying condition which they tried to accuse me of. You had to buy 2 months in the beginning in order not to pay for shipping which is $159.00. I will never buy on impulse again. Marie Osmond looks good because she had face surgery. My freezer is full of this crap which is going into the garbage.

    Like many others, I was roped into the auto-delivery scam. After 2 plus weeks, I have gotten sick of the food. Tasteless cardboard, and weird textures, especially the beef and chicken. The only good snack is the popcorn. I have been horribly constipated, as well. The Italian fare reminds me of opening up a can of Chef-boyardee. Blech. Canceling my next delivery was extremely difficult. Sitting on hold for 45 minutes while at work. I ended up using the chat. They keep trying to talk you out of it making counteroffers, trying to get you with a coach. A coach is not going to make me want to eat any more of this food. Too many sweets for me, I don't have a sweet tooth. I only lost 2.5 lbs in over two weeks and I feel horrible on this processed food. I finally had to tell them I'd rather pay $125 dollars. These people are worse than used car salesman. Why is it so difficult to cancel?

    I signed up for NutriSystem to lose some weight that I've gained in the last year due to a hip injury and the inability to work out. Ordering was a breeze and shipment was fast. When you want to ORDER food from them, their customer service is great. After two weeks of eating their food, I realized I had gained 5 pounds and my blood pressure went up, despite adding daily exercise to my routine. I decided to return the unused food and get a refund. It took 3 phone calls, 3 emails, and an online chat to finally get the information I needed to make return.

    The first time I called, the woman would not stop talking and trying to sell me on another program, and asking me so many questions even though I told her I was at work. The second time I called, a woman gave me incorrect information and said that Nutrisystem would send me a return label once I gave them an inventory of everything I was returning. I never got a return label, so I called a THIRD time.

    During my 3rd call with customer service, the woman I spoke to was incredibly rude. I asked her if I would be getting a shipping label, and she literally laughed at me and said, "We don't pay YOU for a shipping label, YOU pay for YOUR OWN shipping label." She was saying it in a very rude way. She told me I needed an "RMA" and sarcastically asked me if I had an RMA number. Then she asked me for an inventory of food items and was telling me that the number of dinners I was reporting was incorrect. Her tone was so rude and disrespectful that I hung up.

    I emailed them as a last resort and asked about making a return. The response I got was "you got your answer during your last phone call on record." I replied that I needed an RMA number. Finally, after 5 days of trying to get answers from this company about making a return, I finally got an RMA number and instructions on making a return. BEWARE that Nutrisystem will make it as unpleasant and difficult as possible to return your food. They will play games, treat you with disrespect, withhold information, and treat you horribly to delay your return. I will never use Nutrisystem again and I plan to tell friends and family about my experience.

    I ordered 1 month of the latest Nutrisystem Plan with extra Shake items and paid around $430.00. Food items arrived and I started eating/drinking food and shakes but, after experiencing symptoms of "restless leg syndrome" I quit consuming all Nutrisystem products to do some research. I found all items to contain what they labeled as "Natural Flavoring." Turns out, Natural Flavoring is same as "MSG" which I have encountered in the past and I have to stay away from. Unfortunately, Nutrisystem does not disclose in any of their information that they have added MSG/Natural Flavoring to all their products to make it all taste better!

    I called immediately and cancelled my account. I requested a total refund of the $430.00 + I had spent on the products and was told I would get a total refund of what I had paid simply by returning only the dry food items (not to send back the frozen part of order) within a week's time frame, which I did. I had to pay about $35.00 out of my own pocket to return the dry food items.

    I have now been credited for only about one-half of the cost I paid for the Nutrisystem products (around $230.00) and when I called Nutrisystem Customer Service, they would not talk to me and literally hung up on me more than once (since I called them back 2 more times)! I will tell anyone that might be considering ordering from Nutrisystem -- DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! Bad business, bad products and bad ethics! Hopefully, my review will save other people money, time and frustration in dealing with this unreputable company.

    My husband and I have been on the Nutrisystem Partner Plan Auto Delivery for almost three years, at first for weight loss, then for convenience and maintenance. We recently received two shipments in quick succession due to a snafu in rescheduling a delivery and we didn't have room to store the items in our freezer. When I contacted Customer Service, I was given excuse after excuse about why/how this occurred. I was so frustrated, I asked to just cancel my account. I was told I could NOT cancel until I answered questions. I informed the woman I did not have time and we ended the call. I then went online to reschedule my next delivery for two weeks later than it would have arrived since I had extra food. Ten days before the food was scheduled to arrive, I went online to adjust the food selection, my account was there, but couldn't find our auto delivery history. Called Customer Service to find my account was cancelled.

    I received NO notification of cancellation. When I requested to restore our account, the only thing they would do is charge me a lot more money per month, or pre-pay over $800 and still pay more than I did each month. I was told they could only restore the account if I had called within 7 days (no idea it was cancelled), and this was almost one month later! "Millie" had me on the phone and on hold for over a half hour and could not assist me adequately. Asked for a Supervisor and was told she put in a request. Two days later, I called and asked for a Supervisor immediately and was again put on hold. When she returned, I was told it can take three days for a callback! Heaven knows what the training is like for these Customer Service representatives. It's a shame because we would have continued to be customers. This is no way to run a business. And, yes, I know Nutrisystem will respond below with their standard Customer Service response.

    Customer service on chats: We purchased 3 deliveries for 55+ for 2 people prepaid. We have an issue with the shakes. When we opened a chat, we asked direct questions with no derogatory comments other than my husband did not like the shakes. They told me that they could not substitute the container of shakes for anything else because I prepaid. So that leaves us stuck with shakes that are not going to be used and they are still going to ship us more. When I asked if they could do better, they ignored me. After 5 minutes, I asked if they were still there. No response. I asked again and they closed the chat with a screen that said, "Thank you for your loyalty." I do not think that that statement applies!

    Also customer service on coaching: It takes 3 days to get and appointment for coaching. That is not acceptable. They allow 10 minutes to talk to the coach. That might be enough time if the coach would listen to my questions instead of forever talking. They are like info commercials where you have to listen for an hour just to be asked to buy something. I had to cut the coach off several times during our conversation because she kept going on about nothing that concerned me. She kept trying to direct our conversation away from questions. Before my ten minutes were up, she suggested I make another appointment that also cut into my 10 minute time limit. This, to me, is not coaching at all but just 10 minutes of commercials.

    Bottom line: Both my husband and I have lost 5.2 pounds each our first week. We have had to guess and deal with frustrations on the NuMi app with no help from Nutrisystem. The the program works, but do not expect anything from Nutrisystem other than a delivery to your door and an app with no helpful tutoring.     They advertise a 7-day money-back guarantee; it takes more than 7 days to get the food. My husband and I stuck to the plan a solid month, we lost 4 pounds. The quality of the food is POOR; some looked like what an astronaut would eat in space. Many of the meals contain caramel coloring and all contain preservatives I would never eat. The PLAN contains tons of sugar items each day. The PLAN does not account for micronutrients. The one good thing that gives it a 1 star is the app is easy to use and help me gain control over how much I was eating in calories each day plus now I drink more water. If I could back up a month... I would just find a way to log and track calories.

    I canceled their food on day 2 of receiving it and shipped it back following all instructions. They stole a second payment from me anyway and so I'm out $386 and been waiting two weeks for refund check (allegedly sent Oct. 18) and they keep changing their excuses about why.     Nutrisystem has a 30 day guarantee according to what I signed up for. The food is absolutely awful. Pizza crust is like cardboard. The chicken is like rubber. The beef such as in the meatloaf or meatballs does not taste like beef at all. Not quite sure what it is. Anything with spinach in it has a rancid taste. About the only good things are the snacks. When I tried to cancel I was given the runaround. Told if I canceled I would be charged $120.

    I was not asking for my money back guarantee I was simply asking to cancel. And now being charged $120 because they said I had signed up on a special and because I was canceling I was going to have to pay the difference of that special. That is not written anywhere. They tried to convince me to stay with them or lose $120. I felt like I was being held hostage. They finally agreed to cancel it and asked if I would leave a review at the end of the conversation. That I should just stay on the phone. Well, guess what? There was no review at the end of the conversation so I can’t even give them feedback.

    I signed up for the Quick 9 program and from the beginning, this was a rip-off. My first order arrived with missing items and I never received them after many attempts. After 3 weeks of waiting I saw on my account that Nutrisystem cancelled the items because my next order was in process and 2 orders cannot be in process concurrently. I cancelled the plan several times but they kept charging my credit card and sending me food I never ordered.

    I attempted to cancel the orders but they would not allow it because they said once an order was started it could not be cancelled even if they started the order. I had a session with a coach who said she was going to send me some information to kick-start my weight loss but the information was never sent. I never lost any weight after the first 2 weeks. The weight I lost actually cost me $175 a pound. Nutrisystem is a complete rip-off. I would give them zero stars if I could. I suggest staying as far away from Nutrisystem as possible. The worst customer service ever and once they have your credit card number they will abuse it.

    Everyone is in business to make money obviously but when you are a service company and you do not care of even offer customer service, you should not be in business. Like many others, I have found Nutrisystem's to be a scam. Not only is it expensive, they do to timely provide the food you pay for, forcing you to be off the diet plan, thereby defeating the entire purpose! Steer far, far away.

    I had a link sent to me via text message for a heavily reduced meal plan. Made an account, well I ended up with two different web pages open logged into the same account and one was clicked on a month plan totaling $755, I think I was just looking at the price originally. There was two web pages open, the other web page had the correct $ amount of the discounted program. I had went through and picked all my frozen stuff and ordered a shake half off under that webpage with the discount. When I checked out my total was three hundred something. I triple checked the price and my picks before hitting submit. I tried to get a screenshot after I submitted, but my phone didn’t do it and I said “oh well”. Well they ended up charging me the higher $755 order and it didn’t even include frozen meals and it included two full price shakes.

    I was Besides myself, Nutrisystem wouldn’t make anything right for me. The only thing I could do was go all the way into town to return a big box back at a steep return price at my cost!!! They refused to make it right and give me the order I wanted. Why would I pay over twice as much for something that is even less product? They wouldn’t budge. I understand you have to auto ship at least two months to get the discount, but that still would have been cheaper really for two months under that program then the one month $755 one. Also trying to get ahold of someone is hit and miss on the phone.

    I've been on Nutrisystem since late May of 2023. The program has worked for my wife and I but a disturbing pattern regarding order selection/product substitution has emerged. On my last five orders, Nutrisystem has substituted a different item than I ordered. When I called to inquiry, I was told that they were out of stock and/or the item was discontinued. There wasn't any advance warning so that I could decide what to order instead of a warehouse worker.

    When I complained and asked why they didn't provide a list of items to be discontinued, I was given the e-mail to "customerexperience at nutrisystem". I wrote a detailed letter explaining my frustration with the lack of notification and the reply I received back was typical corporate 2 stepping: "Thank you for your email to Nutrisystem. We apologize for the substitutions in your order. Although Nutrisystem takes every reasonable measure to have sufficient inventory to fill your order, availability of product(s) may change without notice. Nutrisystem is not responsible for unavailability of product due to popular demand, whether discontinued or still in production. In the completion of orders, Nutrisystem reserves the right to substitute a similar product."

    Nowhere did they address the communication issue OR the fact that they have not yet introduced any new selections to replace the discontinued items. In fairness, the "live" CSR did provide a $20.00 credit to our account. However, this is not a solution to a underlying problem for people that stay on the program for an extended period. I hope enough pressure can be put on management so that they communicate better with their customers.

    I have been on Nutrisystem for over 3 solid years, and used it a few shorter periods some years prior. It was an easy healthy way to have food during covid 2020 when I needed to drop some weight anyway, so stayed with it to prevent weight gain as well. My first sickness from it was a frozen dinner, they sent a replacement meal of my choice to replace the one I ate and the 2 others I still had. I was pretty sick but not as bad as today.

    Today on an empty stomach other than Diet Coke, I decided to eat the cheese puffs on my way to physical therapy. Once there I felt a little bit of stomach pain and discomfort and he even heard the growling. After a few minutes I became really faint and had to sit with my head brown my knees trying not to faint. I've been going to PT for many months from rotator cuff stutter so it was not the simple exercises/stretches. Then sudden urge to use the restroom... While I'm there I become violently ill from both ends, cold sweat to soaking all my clothes and extremely dizzy almost about to pass out. Thank god for my Apple Watch, called my mother to come get me (while still sick) and was at a point considering the ER if the fainting dizziness was still going on when she got there.

    Once I was ' empty' the faintness did let up some. Now I'm on Pedialyte until I get the courage to try some toast later tonight. I just called and canceled my Nutrisystem... No more cheese puffs nor giving them money not knowing why they manage to have foods capable of making someone that sick twice now. I can only assume poor sanitary practices being how random the two totally different foods were that made me sick. I can overlook it once but twice... nope... I'm done. I recognized the symptoms as I had a bad oyster in my 30s that gave me severe food poisoning, I had the same symptoms, but the oyster symptoms lasted longer resulted in multiple ER visits, and spending months on a liquid diet.

    The foods taste pretty good when you find what you like, but the expiration dates do go out so don't keep them indefinitely like other similarly store bought foods. I've never had issues with customer service or shipping. I have even scored a few mile marker weight loss bears along the way. I really hate that their food made me sick twice now though.

    This company is a huge scam. The 'nutritious' meals are crap, just overly processed foods that leave nasty aftertastes. They are not enticing and just felt like a punishment to eat consistently. As a result, I called to cancel and oh boy! That's where the real problems began. I was told that I opted for a compulsory 2 months auto-delivery and got a 45% discount. As a result will have to pay $125 if I want to cancel before getting my 2nd month's order. Because of how stupidly busy their website is (which I think is intentional btw), I did not see this stipulation, and if I did, I would have never proceeded with the order. I do not understand why a company would have harsh cancellation policies as such if they had no problems retaining their customers. And that's VERY TELLING. Overall, I would never recommend to a friend (or even an enemy).

    I would never have ordered if I knew how sneaky they were. You have to call in to cancel your orders (which are automatically processed by the way) and there is no other option. I cancelled back in Oct and have not heard from them since but now all of sudden 5 months later I am charged and shipped more food. I try and call and they say I never cancelled just delayed it. I try and tell them all I did was place the first order and then cancel knowing I just wanted to try it out... but they say I didn't and that they will not refund me. So now I am out $400 with crappy food...

    Have used this program in past to help jump start weight loss. Signed up again recently for same. Discovered after ran out of food first month that now are shipping only meals for 5 days a week, not 7, as previously. This is buried on the website, took the customer service agent quite awhile to show me where it is buried. Price is the same. Food quality has taken serious hit as well, much is inedible. Also, they say you can choose your meals, but always send items not selected, and usually these are the most nasty tasting items. In addition, they talk about 50% off regular price, but as far as I can tell, no one ever pays the full price, it's always '50% off"... So why not just advertise that as the true price... Bait and switch. Sorry, you've lost a customer and I would not recommend to anyone.

    I have been on the phone multiple times to cancel my service with Nutrisystem. I have been placed on hold for more than 30 minutes, and have never been able to speak to a live person. Makes me wonder why it is so difficult to speak with someone about canceling my service. Lots of help to get started, but zero assistance to cancel. As per Nutrisystem, you cannot cancel online, you have to cancel via the phone numbers provided. The problem is that no one is answering the phones. Very disappointed.

    I have used Nutrisystem in the past and lost some weight. I am hoping to lose some more and wanted to start back up. Went through the process of choosing a plan and selecting the meals. When I went to check out the total did not seem correct. We contacted a customer service rep and asked what exactly we were paying for. The website offered a special price if you paid for 3 'months'. They said it was only for 3 deliveries which would be 6 weeks. I pointed out to the customer service rep that it specifically said the price quoted was for 3 months (it showed this in 2 different places).

    She agreed but could not authorize it and transferred me to a manager who said it was a typo on their website and they would not honor the price even though it was specifically listed that way on the site. I also questioned how they got the total I was quoted when it said it would be $12.14 a day for the 5 day a week plan. That pricing is for 7 days a week even though you only get food for 5 days. Based on their very deceptive and unethical pricing strategies I decided to go with a different company. Beware of their pricing plans.

    I know people are critical of Nutrisystem, but I was on it years ago and now again. I was a W.W. leader as well as participated in all the other healthy ways of eating. The food has gotten SO much better now that they have frozen foods. I don't know what people are talking about the processed foods; the flash freezing allows me to eat fresh mushrooms and BBQ pizza and other really good stuff. It's lower in salt than any frozen lunches at Walmart, plus fiber and protein. The biggest selling point is that my teenage son steals the meals; he loves them. I've lost 30 lbs so far. I've kept it off, eating my own stuff (again, I know how to eat), but after five kids and 20 years of parenting, I am SO cooking!!! With the prices these days, it's the same price as regular groceries.

    I have been purchasing Nutrisystem over a year now. I haven’t lost anything, considering that I workout 3-5 times a week. Lately I switched to their Protein plan hoping it will improve my protein intake. But I haven’t lost any weight again. I’m counting my calories and macros. And most importantly my physician warned me about my high sugar level (pre-diabetic). I was so shocked because I don’t eat anything sweet out besides the Nutrisystem plan. I don’t have any sugar at home. Eating only their meals. Imagine my anger when I decided to take one of their meals apart, weight everything, and have discovered that red pepper chicken, that is 14 oz meal and promised 26 grams of protein, had ONLY 1.2 oz of chicken. The rest of the meal was pasta with veggies (mostly pasta). You cannot get 26 oz out of 1.2 oz of chicken!

    No wonder I didn’t lose any weight. I was eating carb loaded meals instead of protein loaded. Also, my breakfast meal - turkey sandwich- was completely substituted by cinnamon rolls. I understand the shortage in the sandwich, but at least give me an option before you ship it, or replace it by a similar meal. So I paid such high price for this Protein Plan and got completely ripped off. I’m expecting my last delivery (missed date when I could cancel it) and after that I’m canceling the program. Such misleading information about meals nutritional facts is good for a lawsuit.

    I was on Nutrisystem for a month. Food is mediocre and not tasty. Snacks are very sweet and are food I would never eat, like cupcakes. I lost 4 pounds in that month, and I didn't like eating six times a day. Once on their mailing list, I could not get off. They ignore the unsubscribe command. They changed me from an unhappy customer to a disgusted one. Do not try this system.

    I tried the Nutrisystem diet and so far after 3 weeks have lost about 3 ounces. I was a four can of soda per day and stopped which in itself should have dropped weight. NOPE. The food isn't bad and I count my calories every day but nothing. I exercise lightly since I am a senior citizen but still the weight won't come off. I have not cheated at all. I wonder if their food is low in calorie at all. Too expensive as well but I was desperate. Hopefully I can cancel. NOT worth the money and it is a lot of processed food.

    A bunch of crooks!! DO NOT DO THIS DIET. BUYER BEWARE!!!! I did this in the past without any issues and lost a good bit of weight. I decided to give it another try, but apparently this time I got locked into some sort of fine print contract. Long story short I canceled after the 2nd month when I realized this diet was not going to work out for me. It took Nutrisystem 3 weeks to respond to my support request to cancel, I tried calling but no one ever picks up. They finally did a cancellation, gave me a number and everything, and what do they do, they auto draft $384.00 from my account. This was 2 weeks ago.

    Now I have no food, no money to buy food & I am behind on my bills because of this stupid money hungry company. I have an open dispute with Paypal to try and get my money back but "seller has not responded". Nutrisystem is sure quick to take money from you but refuses to give it back, even when they put customers in difficult situations. In addition to the auto draft from my account and them not refunding me I was informed I also owed them $125.00 for a cancellation fee. I don't know how a company can get away with this, who just steals 384.00 from their customer then demands they pay them $125???? TOTAL SCAM!

    The food is terrible anyway, they don't even send you enough for a 7 day week, you still have to go to the grocery store and buy filler food like veggies & other snacks. The NuMe App is horrid and crashes. You're basically paying for overpriced box meals. I am seriously considering filing a consumer protection lawsuit against this company. At the very least I will be writing reviews like this everywhere I can.

    I started the Nutrisystem diet over the weekend. I am taking in more fat, more calories, more cholesterol, more sodium, more carbs and less protein than the diet I was using before this. Plus, the food tastes of nothing, or worse! I workout 3 days per week, walk regularly and drink between 80 and 100 ounces of water per day. This diet is not a good one. I am following the plan and eating more food now that I had previously! The food tastes terrible!

    After giving this a shot again after my first time was so successful, I was excited to try again. The food is just plain terrible now though. Overpriced. And the company's customer service department is non existent. You can't even cancel your membership yourself-- you have to be able to sit on the phone for hours or use the website chat and literally demand that these people stop charging your credit card. This has really become a scam. Hopefully today was the last time I have to ask them to cancel, not ever get a confirmation, then get charged again and sent another huge package of terrible food we won't eat. I will be putting a stop on my cards so they can't charge again in the future. Such a joke. Stay away!! You've been warned!!

    I appreciate the concept of portion control, promoting vegetables and hydration however their customer service is ridiculous. You cannot cancel online and hold times run nearly an hour. It has been hit or miss on the general attitude of the representative, some were quick and polite while others were blatantly disrespectful. I also made several attempts to modify my orders well within the time frame and they either never registered or they don’t care and just send what they have available. I have received two orders loaded the same items I specifically don’t want! Absolutely disappointing and waste of hundreds of dollars!

    Scam of the century - nowhere on website to cancel membership, finally emailed and got a cancellation confirmation then a month later, they shipped my next order and charged my credit card $360. Called customer service 3 times - was on hold a total of 152 minutes, no one ever picked up so I gave up. Emailed 4 times with no response. Now I have to put a dispute in with my credit card company and hope Fedex reads my large sign I posted on the porch that I refuse any shipment from Nutrisystem. One Question tells the whole story...if you are a legit, customer friendly company, why don't you have a "cancel my membership" option on your website...Answer...so you can scam people. Also filing a BBB complaint as well.

    First of all, it is nearly impossible for a customer service call to be answered. After multiple attempts to cancel online and to call, I finally made contact with a person. I told the customer service agent that I had not ordered food, I had delayed the order because I didn't see a way to cancel it, and I want a refund. She told me that there is no way to cancel the shipment. She won't refund my payment although the credit card company shows that the charge is still "pending". With a UPS tracking number, an order can be re-routed. Instead, she told me that I have to wait until the order arrives, ship the food back, call them, and then they will refund my payment. I do not want this food and I want a refund. I would never recommend using Nutrisystem because of this practice of making it difficult to cancel, and automatically shipping and charging.

    I have used other food delivery services, each kept track of delivery days and if the order was delayed, you got an email saying a replacement was in order and please dispose of the shipment if it arrives late (and some were already returned via shipper). I have been a Nutrisystem customer for years, and their customer service leaves much to be desired. Emails take a long time to respond, and IF you can get anyone on the phone, that will take awhile too.

    Had a recent shipment shipped on 9-12, and arrived at my home 9-16... The dry ice was long gone and almost everything in the container was thawed. Keep in mind, there is apparently nothing in their system to warn me or safeguard the situation that a late shipment is arriving. I understand there are shipping problems, most customers will. But HOW is it handled is important. So I made a call on 9-16 where I was on hold for 19 minutes, in frustration gave up and in their "Request Replacement" page and filled in what happened. (I discarded all of the food in the container.) Here I am on 9-20, and I have heard nothing... Seems odd a company would not make it a bigger priority to warn a customer about frozen food that could hold potential danger, then days later the customer is left without any response.

    I signed up for Nutrisystem on 09/10/2022 and today (09/15/2022), Nutrisystem has double charged me. By them do not this, they have messed up my checking account and cost me a $33.00 over drift fee. I spent the morning on the phone with customer service, with no remedy to my problem. Note: most of the time on the phone was on hold. How can a continue my relationship with Nutrisystem, when they have made this big of mistake in the first five days.

    Started with wanting to make an undetermined postponement on delivery which can only be done via phone. Service repeatedly put on hold automatically and was never picked up this happened day after day and they sent meal when there was nobody to receive it. The package sat in the Sun for 2 days and everything which could go bad... did. Also tried to cancel account (can only be done on phone) to stop and again the numbers provided have an automatic menu which ends up with you on hold. Just as a test I put phone on speaker for more than 1 hour several times and it was never picked up. Who waits that long on hold??? Maybe just frustrated people wanting to tie up the phones of a non responsive Company! I still have not been able to cancel this account. I've put a stop on the card on file with them. Avoid this company!

    It is NOT made clear on the website that you are signing up for a 2 months minimum contract. I bought 1 month and declined an opportunity to buy multiple months for less money. I wanted to simply try it to see if it suited me. I didn't think I needed to cancel, until a family member who has done Nutrisystem warned me me to check. I looked and saw that they were set up to charge me for a second month. I called to cancel (the fact that you HAVE to call to cancel is another alarm bell) and was told I would be required to pay a fee in order to cancel "early". When I stated that it is NOT made clear, the rep told me to "tread lightly" and that it was "definitely explicitly stated on our site".

    I spoke with a second rep who agreed to waive the fee, but when I asked her to guide me to where it states this, she guided me to the page where it says "auto delivery" and said I had to click edit. First of all, you should never have to click to different page to understand the contract you're entering into and secondly, it still did NOT state explicitly that you are entering into a 2 month minimum. I told the rep they should make it clearer to which she responded "we've already waived your fee, ma'am." I thanked her and told her that that was great, but it still needed to be fixed. She clearly didn't care that customers are being unknowingly taken advantage of. I will tell anyone who is thinking of doing nutrisystem that they should go with another more ethical company. This is, at best, purposefully manipulative and vague and at worst, borderline theft.

    I recently signed up for the month plan on the Nutrisystem site, selected their most robust and customized plan where I order my own meals, and also receive a couple weeks worth of protein shake powder. I started at 260 lbs and hoped to lose somewhere around 50 lbs by the end of the two months. Starting with the ordering process, it is very misleading. All of the advertised pricing leads you to believe that your monthly cost is somewhere around $450 or $15/day. Then they push their promotions for 50% off, free this, free that, etc. So a reasonable person would expect that the 50% off would come out to about 7 or 8 dollars/day at the discounted rate.

    The reality is that their sale price is 15/day, so beware of this. Maybe others realized that, but I was surprised when I paid nearly 900 dollars for my first two months. It was explained to me that if I just did an ad hoc order, without pre-paying as I did, the monthly price is close to 900 dollars. My mistake, I guess but nowhere on the site does it say this.

    Onto the plan itself... The shipping and tracking of their products is really good. I received the first half of non-frozen items about a week prior to receiving the frozen stuff. It was all packaged very well and easy to track the shipments. The food itself is a little bit hit or miss. I hate some food that was delicious, and other food that I would not again. You only have a couple weeks on the plan before you have to confirm your next order, so you don't really get a chance to filter through too much of the food to know what you like or dislike, and make adjustments to your next order. If you stay on the program beyond two months, you would know very well however I assume most don't go beyond the initial two months.

    Food portions are very small - like I took my wife's dinner plate, and basically ate what was leftover after she finished her meal - that small. Again, I expected some of this as it is a diet plan after all, and I received a good mix of different types of food, even including sweets. By the time the second week rolls around, you have can add some other foods onto your meals which really helps, and overall you feel less hungry throughout the day, which is the point of the plan. I lost 15 pounds my first week, which I think was mostly water, as subsequent weeks, thus far anyway, I have pretty much maintained the same weight. I am very regimented in following the meal plans and requirements, and hoped to lose 3-4 pounds per week after the first week. So far that hasn't happened....I'm still sitting at -15lbs overall.

    Food was ok, portions are crazy small, plan resources, guides, help, etc. are excellent and easy to follow, even allowing for add-ons and customizations beyond week 1. My major disappointed is the price, and the way it is sold. Customer service agent even told me they don't list their full retail price on the site - seems like a deliberate misleading of customers to me. They were unapologetic when I called, and frankly, unsurprised that I complained, so I am guessing this is fairly routine. I really wanted to be excited about this plan as I need help in losing weight, and feel pretty disillusioned overall. The program just isn't for me.

    Good:
    Program resources - guides, meal plans, food lists, helpful tips, etc. are excellent.

    Food is actually pretty tasty for the most part, and includes a nice variety of meals and snacks. Lots of choices.

    Bad:
    Pricing - Expensive and misleading
    Effectiveness - Thus far, a little disappointing beyond the first week, but I'll do an updated review after my two months cycle has been fully completed.

    Not much time between first and second order to vet out which foods you may like or dislike.

    I signed up for the fully flexible plan. After a couple of weeks, I was having issues with high blood sugar and the crazy high sodium content in the foods. I spoke with my doctor and he told me that this plan has too much processed food and would not be good for me to continue. I stopped immediately and followed the plan the doctor's dietician sent me instead. My blood sugar is way down and I have lost 11 pounds the first month. I only have a few more pounds to lose now and feel so much healthier. When you try to cancel the plan after one month - you have to pay $125 to do that.     First off the food is very good & for that they get an extra star. The customer service is not helpful, & delivery is not reliable. I had to make some of my meals because of late delivery of the frozen foods. I asked for overnight shipping & they would not even consider it.     Nutrisystem prepackaged food products intended to aid in weight loss did not work. They made me gain weight. Nutrisystem's website is set up to confound and confuse customers. It says "money back guarantee." Yet, there is no way a person could know the products do not work in the limited 14 day window they give for this supposed guarantee. If you contact them to cancel, they tell you "just give it more time." Yet, you are supposed to know in 14 days whether it works to get the MBG? That's a complete contradiction in messaging.

    In addition, they do not make it clear that you have to send the remaining products back to get this guarantee fulfilled. It's in tiny print if you click on the "terms." This is so nebulous and makes no sense. Plus, repacking and lugging half a box of food to the post office and paying 30 dollars for postage is not what I call a confident money back guarantee. Nutrisystem is not confident in their products. That's why they make the MBG more of a pain than it is worth. Furthermore, there is no way to cancel on the website. They make you have to contact them in order to cancel the auto shipments. Then, they proceed to attempt to fat shame you and bounce you from one "coach" to another until someone convinces you it's your fault and not the fault of their garbage products.

    As for the actual weight loss, I gained weight while eating 1600 calories a day for two weeks on this stuff. I then did half and half normal food and still gained weight. Finally, I stopped the products completely and ate normal foods only and my weight went back to when I started. I still have some of the products left because I simply do not want to eat them. And, now I have a second shipment of $249.00 worth of garbage food I do not ever want to eat again because by the time I realized these products don't work, the MBG window had passed. If you miss that window, they threaten to charge your card over a hundred dollars more. This is based on the lie plastered all over their website that you are getting "50% off." Nobody could possibly believe that 21 days at 900 calories a day would cost $500.00. Nobody would sign up for this if it weren't for that fake doubling, then "sign up for auto shipment to get 50% off."

    A confident money back guarantee would allow me to fully try the program that they sent, not half of it. The MBG with this company is cynical and useless. They use it for the purpose of luring customers only, not to back up their claims. Right now, their website says "your healthy summer starts here." There is nothing healthy about these products. It's all chemical filler garbage that bulks you up. This system is designed to keep you craving and addicted to junk food. These products have triggered food phobias for me now because I have never gained weight on 1600 calories a day before. And when I stopped the products, I went back to normal. I still have the initial few pounds to lose that I spent $500 dollars to get help with. Waste of time and money and caused food phobia.

    I had been considering Nutri Systems (NS) for quite sometime and actually tried to sign up for it on numerous occasions. I had never gone through because EVERY TIME I was never given the promotion offered to sign up (1 free month, $100 off etc. etc.). Finally I broke down and signed up with the expectation that the signup offer was just bait and that I would never receive the discount which was $100 off. As expected I didn't get it. I signed up for 3 months to get a discount that was presented to me, to save up 50% off the plan, I knew also I would never get close to that amount and I didn't, it ended up being a savings of less than 1% which I was OK with also, I just wanted to get started losing weight.

    Everything was fine and then I got my first order. I noticed right away that they would ship the next order in about a month and that they would be billing over $300. I thought that's strange because I just paid in full to get 3 months to save the 1% or $9 off the 3 month package deal. So I called them up and they gave me some story about recurring charges for supplements I had ordered. In any event we got that straightened out. There was a delay with my getting started on the program and when I got around to starting I noticed that they had sent 20 meals for the month. The most important reason I'm overweight is I don't have a lot of time for meal planning and cooking, and That lifestyle has me eating out a lot. So I knew the only way this would work is for me to go with a 7 day plan which is what I signed up for and payed for.

    So I called about this (why only 20 meals for the 7 day plan) and they said I signed up for the 5 day plan and they couldn't change it so I was stuck with the 5 day plan. That was the last straw, I asked for the money back for the 2 unused months which they did agree to and although I didn't do the math I think they were fair in the refund and didn't try to screw me even more, which is what I was expecting since they tried screwing me at every turn. I thought they had a good reputation, I'm really not sure how they've survived to this point unless my experience was just a fluke. But they were very consistent in not giving out the promo deals so I have to believe they are just another company looking to scam whoever they can. There are much better options out there. I'd give them serious consideration.

    Food is good and I saw good results. However, their customer service and shipping is terrible. Frozen food takes very long to arrive, generally you don't receive it until after you've already run out of food. When I called customer service to complain, their response was to move up the shipping date for the next month, which I did. Then the next month even with 5 extra days of a moved up shipping date, the frozen food was riddled with delays. They said it shipped on Wednesday, yet 5 days later, on Monday, when I contacted FedEx I was told the box was still at the Nutrisystem warehouse and only a label had been created. You'd think a company whose ONLY job is to ship items would know how to properly ship items in a timely manner, but no. Incompetent.

    YOU NEVER GET ALL THE FROZEN FOOD YOU ORDERED: I purchased the most expensive Nutrisystem Plan, all meals + snacks. I carefully selected the meals I wanted--almost all of my selections are frozen. Most of the ready-to-serve meals and snacks taste pretty bad--with the exception of their bars and shakes. I was excited to receive my shipment, but when it arrived, almost everything I received was not in my order. I was furious. Why did Nutrisystem totally disregard my food choices? Because they are more interested in profits than satisfying their customers (fulfilling frozen selections). I called and complained, and they will send me replacement meals and snacks; however, none of the options they offered are frozen. I am giving Nutrisystem one more chance to get it right, and if they don't fulfill my next order as selected, I am going to cancel their service and file a complaint with the California State A.G.s office.

    Prepaid for a 2-month food service on 4/18/22. Non-frozen food shipped 4/19/22 and I received the order 4/21/22. HOWEVER, half of my order was frozen. Obviously I cannot start the program without ALL of the food. Called Nutrisystem - only to in a recording loop without anyone answering my call. Stayed on the phone & noted my concerns via their chat system, only to get a Rep telling me I would get an email when the order ships. WHY DON'T THEY SHIP ALL THE FOOD AT THE SAME TIME? She had no idea when it would ship and as today is Friday, I will not get the rest of the order until next week (at the earliest). I pre-paid $611.00! I would not recommend this service - they do not care about the customer. I cannot note if the program works because I cannot even get the food!

    I order a “month” of meals in order to try Nutrisystem out and see if it would be something I would want to do long term. I was surprised to find out that you have to buy as much outside of what they give you as you do for what is included. Meaning, each daily meal plan consists of 3 items of food and two snacks. But in order to get the nutrients you need you must additionally add proteins and veggies to each meal. (I thought this was going to be a complete meal plan with all you need, very much the opposite) daily it had me on 1500 calories, Nutrisystem provided about 700-800 daily. So about half of what I was expecting. In addition to that, a couple weeks in I get a message saying they’re sending me another order… What???

    I never asked for another order. I tried to contact them online and over the phone. Phone hold times were always 20-30 minutes before I gave up. Somehow they put me on some sort of renewal thing and charged my credit card again. Looking through their reviews this seems to be a pretty common occurrence. Very unethical. And they are saying you have to get at least two months of meals if you want to cancel… they do NOT alert you cancel on your account. And don’t answer a phone call to boot. A good amount of the food tasted surprisingly good (the cooked items. The rest is just ok and is very cheap to get the same quality for far less at the local grocery store). I had high hopes but the unethical renewals and charges on your credit card make everything a major negative.

    Save money and enjoy your weight loss food more by just going to the store and buying a bunch of Lean Cuisines or even the generic versions of them. Yes, I tried Nutrisystem. Everything I ordered, except for a few things, tasted like crap to me. Also, some of the items had torn open wrappers. They did replace those items quickly though, but who wants to go through that? Signed up for 2 month supply. They did refund my 2nd month expense. Couldn't imagine eating another month of that stuff. Looks inviting as shown on TV, but actually looks nothing like that. Of course, everything is advertised that way. Exception: Olive Garden (I love). As good as advertised, though certainly not diet food.

    Food is ok. What you can expect for a diet product. Second time I have tried it and food is actually better this time. To my surprise a second month was shipped to me and charged to my CC. I used this for a one month kick off for my diet not to keep getting it at over $325 a month. I called to ship back and no longer had the super sweet people when I was trying to buy my first month rather the legal type rude people. I asked where this 2 month minimum info was and was told it was in the Faq section which I regularly don't read unless I have questions. No way to fix this?? I told them I was shipping it back and they just got rude. Will never try again and plan to let as many people know as I can.

    The diet has helped me lose weight and learn to eat better without being hungry. BUT, understand what you are signing up for. Some of the food is way overpriced for what you get and IT COST $125 TO CANCEL THE PLAN. To my surprise, I got an email about my NEXT order. When I went in to cancel it, I found out there is no way to cancel it online. I had to go through chat and hear all the sales pitches only to find out it will cost me to cancel. What a gimmick!

    I am amazed NutriSystem has not been bankrupted by misleading pricing lawsuits. They talk about "price per day" all over their website. When I finally called because the prices weren't adding up, the salesman actually said, "I wouldn't focus on the daily cost." I said, "Wait, what? That's how you're selling your product!" So, it appears that even if you sign up for 5 days/week worth of food, you're still paying for 7 days/week. Why? Well, according to this salesperson, "you still get coaching if you need it for 7 days of the week." Where is that on the website? I couldn't find it. If that is the case, do not hide it. Please let me know what I'm paying for UPFRONT.

    I also found out that the displayed price is not for MEN, it's only for WOMEN. MEN's prices are more because we need more calories and therefore, we need more food. Where is that on the website? Is it in the Terms and Conditions? The minuscule type that no one reads? If it is, that's as deceptive as telling me I'm paying for 5 days when I'm actually paying for 7. The whole scheme is deceptive and it's pitiful that they just don't come clean and tell you exactly what you get, exactly what you'll owe and exactly how it works. It's a guessing game and losing weight is tough enough without having to deal with con artists trying to steal my money. Shame on NutriSystem and those deceptive companies who follow in their footsteps.

    The cost wasn’t too bad. Ranging from $200-400 per month, that’s every meal except 1 per week. The cheapest plan meals are the worst tasting food. I quickly moved to the frozen plan. Most of the food was nasty, too spicy or just over processed. I lost 25 lbs. but I had lots of cravings. My craving for sugar was the highest. I realized that was because most of the breakfast foods are high in sugar. I learned for me, sugar first thing in the morning keeps my sugar craving high all day. I remained hungry the whole time on the plan.

    Yes, I did research before spending $300+ on this plan. Maybe I was too willing to believe the hype. Reality was nothing like the sales pitches. I wanted a healthy way to stay out of the grocery store. I received 2 boxes, one w/ frozen food and another w/ dry goods. The frozen food looked like it lost a fight. The dry goods were canned meals, and different shake packs. Lots of written instructions but a jigsaw of stuff. I was committed so I ate products I would never buy. Not all bad but not enough good to go thru this experience again. I did lose 5 pounds….so disappointed.

    Please do not waste your time or money on Nutrisystem...The Fast 5 program is a joke. Following it to the letter and did not lose close to 5 pounds. This is fine if you are an obese person, if you have 10 pounds to lose, it will not work! The foods are horrible, unappetizing, and well beyond their shelf life. In the beginning, things seem OK....You are going along and doing a good job...As the week ends, you are tired, frustrated and sick of the gas and abdominal distention, never mind the debilitating constipation. Please note: I have nothing to gain or lose writing this...I honestly hope to make others aware of the consequences...Besides the fact I purchased from HSN and was responsible for $20 to return. do yourself a favor, if you have a few pounds to lose, put your big girl panties on and do it yourself. There's plenty of low calorie foods out there that are fresh, affordable and appetizing!!!!

    The customer service at Nutrisystem is AWFUL these people are so smug and arrogant. I never have a pleasant conversation with any of them. They advertise plans on the website at a lower price than when you log into your account that same plan is twice the price. Each time I call, they do a bait and switch. I am amazed at how gullible they think consumers are. I spoke to Kaylee (counselor) she was rude, then I spoke to Renton (sales person) who was smug and arrogant, typical. When customers inquire about the price discrepancy, stop the bait and switch, as we are savvier than that. Advertise the actual price. I expected more from a national firm.

    Big scam. There is no money-back guarantee. The only guarantee is if you don't like the food you have to return it in 10 days. No coaching.... tried to talk to someone and tried chat.     I am trying to choke down their “pancakes” as I speak! There are several of these types of items that I cannot fathom the company even thinking of putting out. But they do!     Their terms say they will provide a money back guarantee. Half of my order (the non-frozen stuff) arrived. Some of the order was wrong. I was not thrilled with the food - some was in squeeze pouches, others were dehydrated in paper cups. Looked gross. The portions were small. I was told, "that's what a diet is." I explained that a diet is eating healthy. I asked if I could cancel and get my money back. I had called to cancel within 2 days - the terms say I can get money back if I cancel within 10. I spoke with Mike, who told me that I would get a full refund if I return what I have left (I had tried one item). I returned it, but they refused to give me a refund. They claimed that I did not cancel within time. I provided proof that I had signed up two days before and proof of my cancellation, but they still refused to give back my money. Now I have no product and am out the money. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

    I tried to order two months at the start because the ad said that if you order two months you save 50% for an average cost of $8.44 per day. Instead I was charged $469.96 for the first month and another $509.95 for the second month, or an average of $16.33 per day. When I called to dispute the charges their response was that I did not order two months. They also sent four cans of extra shakes that I never ordered. When I received no relief, they transferred me to returns and stated that if I returned the shakes they would credit me $40 per container, or $160.00. I returned the containers but never received the credit. I will never recommend Nutrisystem to anyone.

    First I didn't receive product until almost the end of their 14day guarantee, then when tried to cancel they were going to charge me 125.00 in cancelation fee saying past 14 day guarantee, then trying to dispute not being past 14 day guarantee they hung up on me and wouldn't take my call. I had to use another phone for them to talk with me. Finally got them to agree to refund my full cost, but told it takes 14 days. They gave me a date June 28th to get my refund. June 28th still no refund. They are fraudulently keeping my money, their products I received was returned June 8th. My whole experience with Nutrisystem has felt like a scam. I will never recommend Nutrisystem to anyone and deter anyone who asks me.

    I purchased the Nutrisystem box of breakfast lunch and dinner meals. All of them were non-refrigerated and non-freezer items. I was impressed with the amount of food that arrived and It was convenient that it was delivered to my door and that I did not have to food shop for a month. Although these were positives, the food was not good at all and upon giving it a try I ended up pushing back my second order because I still had so much of the first leftover because I did not eat it.

    This came back and bite me in the butt as I tried to cancel after that month because I did not finish the month's worth of food due to the quality, I was Unable to and I was charged 125$ cancellation fee without even being explained that I would Be charged. I had To find out via my bank statement that I owed Them 125$ to cancel. The communication on the company‘s part was not good and neither was their food. I did not lose any weight using this program and Based on my experience I would not recommend this to anyone in the future.

    I have been ordering Nutrisystem food for years now and have always had a great experience. However, my frozen food was supposed to come yesterday Friday(6/18/21) but arrived today Saturday(6/19/21), in the afternoon. The Nutrisystem email I got said it was arriving on Friday. I was surprised at the weight of the box because usually it is very heavy and I need help carrying it. But it was very light. The reason...

    All of the dry ice was melted and the food was completely wet and soggy and a complete wet mess in my apartment. I am particularly upset because the desserts are ruined. The ice cream sandwich is complete mush, as are the cupcakes and the icing has stuck to the top of the wrapping. I've thrown them all away. I'm not even sure I should eat frozen food that has thawed? The boxes are wet and mush and out of shape. It is an expensive product and I'm very upset to have paid this money, and looked forward to the food and it is ruined. The waffles and pancakes are out of shape. The calzones are out of shape. I think Nutrisystem should make this situation right by sending new frozen desserts AND shakes for the huge inconvenience of throwing away food. I'm super bummed out and angry.

    I have been using Nutrisystem for almost 5 years and I am very pleased with the food and the results. Most of my food tastes great. I go on the Nutrisystem plan every January and February and lose about 20 pounds. The food is convenient and the guides and journal helped me create a routine.

    Weight loss is possible on this program if you stick to the suggested foods. I lost weight and then gained it back during the pandemic. Nutrisystem has gotten more expensive. You need to experiment to find out which meals you like.

    The only way to lose weight is to do so with the intent of health. You cannot only loose weight in one place so all of you needs nurturing and exercise. I’m not convinced that this product allows for maximum health and the time you need to get to the point where you can feel healthy and obtain a healthy weight.

    Their product seems very expensive as you need to be on it for some time. I’ve heard from people who have been on the program that the food really isn’t that great and they weren’t able to keep their weight off.

    Weight loss slow, not enough protein. Should be less carbs and more protein. Very expensive on a per pound basis. Two months and only 11 pounds. I exercise five days a week and follow their guidelines exactly.

    Works better than most --that is,,, for men. I've tried the diet meal plan several times over the years and I keep being disappointed. I follow the plan to the tee. I may lose a couple pounds, while my husband loses 20. But,,,he doesn't progress beyond 20 pounds and of course it doesn't stay off. So he does the system a couple months each year just to lose the 20 pounds... Other females I have spoken to, have the same results----none.

    Nutrisystem food is terrible. They are such a sneaky company as well. You think you are getting a discount on the monthly plan you order but really they lock you in for 2 months. Then it’s a 125 cancellation fee. Make sure you check your email or they will send the second order. They claim you sign up for auto ship. All a scam. After 1 month eating this terrible food you will be done. Terrible company. Read all the small print when you sign the contract. I would recommend any other diet to anyone else. The dry food made me very sick. I can’t express enough how terrible the food is. This is my first review I ever wrote. I am on a mission to spread the word about this dishonest company.

    If you live in Hawaii or Alaska, don't order as you will only get the package items - no frozen items where the real food is. They can't ship frozen items to Hawaii or Alaska and the package items breakfast and lunch are okay, but the dinner items gave me so much gas and they haven't made any improvements with these food items. Don't waste your money!

    I received my frozen order today and everything was thawed and melted to the point that the creamsicles were liquid. I called customer service and although they did agree to reship the items, it will be at least another week before I receive the order which completely messes up my diet as this order was late in arriving to begin with. Customer service offered no compensation and when I asked about a refund, I was refused and was told they could only reship. I was also told they could not ship the items overnight which seems ridiculous considering the money I have paid into this program. I will be canceling the program if this is the type of service you receive. It makes no sense to be on a plan if you cannot get the menu items you need and are forced to go off plan.

    After I saw few ad on TV I got interested to use this product, I ordered on 2/14/21 and I received the first pack which was frozen food three days after, then dry food five days then powder on 3/1/21. The food is the same you make at home. No secret ingredients. Just each meal have a small portion. Even after I looked at the nutrition fact on each package I realize all the item is same as the regular food even a little bit more Fat or sugar. There was no magic and I didn’t lose and my doctor told me to stop using this garbage and I did. On 4/14/21 they charge me $458 and shipped me the second shipment without confirming.

    I placed a one month order to get a good start on my diet. Things went ok and felt like it was a good way to get started on my diet. While ordering a 30 day plan I had no idea I was agreeing to a monthly subscription. I get a $425 bill the other day on my credit card and immediately call to cancel. After on hold for a long time I was finally able to cancel but with a $125 fee. Feel completely taken advantage of and they should make it more clear what you're getting into. I would have recommended this to other family and friends but no way now. Will tell everyone to stay away from this scam.

    I must have been living in a dream world when it came to the Nutrisystem program. I had belonged to Nutrisystem a very long time ago when you went to meetings, and that was the only place you could purchase any products. There wasn't much of a selection; however, I was able to reach my goal. Well, I know I'm not the first, but I am back in the same situation with regard to gaining weight and then some. So I thought I would give Nutrisystem another try, after all Marie Osmond and others are backers, and if it works for them, it would work for me.

    I started in the Fall of 2020. Things were going great. All of a sudden this past month the "shelf" products arrived but no frozen products. I had called several times and was always told it will be on its way. The products usually come at the end of each month. Here it is April 9th and I still don't have the frozen products. I called once more and after reading reviews of others, didn't realize that they would be so rude. At the age of 73, I have seen a lot in my life, yet I always fall back to my way of thinking, "All places aren't like that - a disappointment to customers."

    Today when I called, I got the shock of my life when speaking to a representative. I basically hung up and tried again. This time was no better in that I was shocked, although like I say I shouldn't be, that this rep was NOT as bad as the first, but definitely didn't want to hear my side of the story, I am figuring this isn't the first time she's had a call like mine, and so I dropped the program effective immediately. No problem with her. No really trying to understand why I was doing this.

    I then asked to be switched to a Supervisor. Ah, this didn't surprise me, I've heard it before from other companies. I was told they were all busy, not answering and that I SHOULD CALL BACK! I asked if they didn't have a "recall" if I hung up and I would get called as soon as one was available. The answer was "No". After me asking just when I was suppose to call, she told me to call on Sunday. She closed my account and stated that I would be refunded $154.66 for the frozen portion. I couldn't believe, what good is it for a person to eat the non-frozen products when you can't have the frozen products? No reduction in $$'s, nothing offered, other than this is how it's going to be.

    My whole issue is that the customer - ME - should not always be the one that is "penalized" when something goes wrong, coronavirus, whatever. After a while that gets old. What is Nutrisystem sacrificing in this issue (?), and from what I can surmise, I am not the first to bring this subject up to them. As big a company as they are, and yes, Fed Ex is their "Carrier", I would think they would get another carrier, because in addition to coronavirus, in my area they can't ship because of some contamination problem near Fed Ex. Yes, I am sacrificing more than anyone realizes, because the program WAS working for me. Guess I'll have to research other programs. What a total disappointment Nutrisystem has been to me.

    I recently made my first order to Nutrisystem. The order consisted of frozen and unfrozen meals and snacks. I received the unfrozen items rather promptly, but couldn’t start the plan until I received the bulk of my order, which was frozen. It took nearly another week to receive the frozen items. There was very little communication from the company and NO response to my email questions. I am deaf and can’t call, so email is my only way to communicate. When the frozen items arrived, one package was just an empty wrapper!!! So much for quality control! I totally regret purchasing from Nutrisystem.

    Pro: the food looks terrible but 3/4 of it actually taste good. Cons: They claim they charge every 28 days but they charged me 3 days early and caused a huge overdraft on my account I use just for this program. Then, when my food shipped they charged AGAIN! They caused another overdraft! I got a refund on the one extra charge. I decided to cancel because the woman on the phone was extremely rude and refused to give me her name or extension. She refused because she said she's working from home. She said it's not her responsibility when people get paid. She apparently doesn't do math very well because it was 25 days in between charges and not 28. She basically called me a liar. She was rude from the start and sounded put off just for the double charge mistake.

    For this reason, I canceled and will NEVER recommend Nutrisystem. They charged early and caused an overdraft. Then they charged me AGAIN when my food shipped. Two over charges and double charged. Both THEIR mistake. I can understand mistakes and would have just worked it out but I decided to just cancel mid phone conversation because of the horrible woman on the phone. I am not confrontational and am very polite so there was no reason for her treatment and attitude. I am so tired of people's poor attitudes....no tolerance anymore. I did nothing wrong in this situation.

    I ordered Nutrisystem for my son and thought I was ordering a "great deal" due to the special listed on their website. There really wasn't a special deal according to the very small print, and their advertising is misleading. I pride myself in reading all details usually before I purchase so I am disappointed with myself that I walked into this type of scam. I went online to cancel the program within the 14 day window, but there was no place to cancel it online. I called in to change it and was put on hold for 40 minutes, hitting the number 2 button frequently to stay on hold, and the phone hung up.

    I called back and hit the button to change my plan instead and surprise- I got to speak to someone. They sent me to someone else. I waited again for quite some time. The next person told me that I could not cancel. I did not realize that I had signed up for an auto-delivery plan. I missed that small print within the specialized plan advertised. The plan was cancelled with an expensive cancellation fee. There is NO WAY that food was worth the $500 for one month. My son gained weight on the plan which was basically all processed foods. The customer service was very poor.

    The customer service representative told me that they are NOT required to put cancellation information on their website by state laws. He also stated that I needed to read the "small print" in the terms and conditions. I believe that Nutrisystem has misleading advertising. Be careful what you are purchasing! They set it up so you cannot cancel and you are most likely, not getting the special deal as advertised.

    My wife and I cancelled during our first order. And for one reason. The food is "not" delicious as they would have you think. Most of the lunches and dinners are just plain lousy. Meaning they do not taste good. And to add insult to injury, they wouldn't let us cancel before we made a second monthly purchase unless we paid a $125.00 cancelation fee each ($250.00 total). They profess that the plan was %50 off. Hogwash. That's because they charge you (more than) double what it's worth to start with. It's easy to charge double, then give a %50 discount and pretend like you've given someone a good deal. Never again.

    Very helpful with gauging correct portion sizes, timing of meals. Contacting monthly regarding changes in the 4 weeks shipment. Payment for the plan is automatic from the chosen bank account. Meals are preplanned for you, however you can make changes wash month. I did not find a need to alter the suggested plan.

    I signed up for "One month of food and shakes for men" as stated by Marie Osmond. They fail to tell you that it's only 22 days of food. When I called about the food that was missing, because "one Month" to me is 30 days, I was told that I had signed up for the wrong program. However I reviewed the TV advertising and once again there was no mention of 22 days being "One Month". Also in reading the reviews I see that there is a penalty of $125.00 if you quit after only one month which is not mentioned in the advertising. I know that somewhere there is a place to review this information, but I did not see it.

    Where is the truth in advertising? In a study on the standard plan, avg. weight loss was 15.15 pounds and 8 inches in the first month. That is because their month is not 30 days. I am not happy with this. I wanted to try it for a month to see if I liked the food. Then if I liked the food, I would continue to order. Now it appears that I am forced to buy the product even if I don't like it. Where is Justice? Where is Truth in Advertising? Where is Marie Osmond's creditability?

    My first shipment took forever, and when I emailed them I got a tone deaf response that didn't address anything about what I'd written. Worse yet, my second shipment came without dry ice so the entire thing was melted, slimy and spoiled. When I called, they said they'd send a new shipment and it would get here in oh, ten days or so (bear in mind that I really don't have much other food in the house other than salad stuff and vegetables -- because you still have to grocery shop on this plan, by the way).

    No offer to rush the shipment, no offer to include any kind of compensation. She just asked if I wanted to order more stuff! What? I'd already canceled the service so I guess they didn't care about the hundreds I'd already spent. But then again, why rush the shipment when leaving someone to their own devices in the meantime means they might have to stay on the program longer? Right? They also don't tell you that you don't really get a month's worth of food the first month, and even less the second month. There's a lot they don't advertise. I regret joining. Please don't make the same mistake I did.

    Well by following the program made up for that person they can learn how to eat, what to eat, and how much... see we can eat any food we want, as long as you do the necessary work to counteract that food. Like ice cream, pizza etc, if these foods weigh down on your thighs, then do some squats, to counteract what that food will do so it won't show and you won't have to care.

    Really good to lose weight. I lost 20 pounds in a month but the meals will be plain and you will probably be eating the exact same thing everyday and make sure not to cheat cause this diet is strict. Good weight loss.

    I had a family member on this program and unless you stay on it for the rest of your life you will be counting calories/carbs whatever. The food is expensive over $200 a month and you have to buy additional groceries to go with it. I wouldn't recommend this program.

    I ordered the food for 1 month and I wasn’t satisfied at all. It didn’t taste good to me. They sent a variety of foods and shakes and I just did not enjoy it so I returned it. The shakes were chalky tasting, and the portions were small. It was frozen foods, microwaveable foods, breakfast, lunch, dinners and snacks. I

    did like the cheddar popcorn snack but that was about it. I waited a little longer to return the food and they didn’t want to refund my money but they finally did it. I didn’t lose any weight on Nutrisystem. Returning the food was easy, just sent it back in the cooler that it arrived in except for the perishables.

    Lost ten pounds the first week, 10 pounds over the next 3 weeks and then got stuck halfway to my goal weight. Once I figured out which food I liked, I was able to eat more of what I liked the second month. It's super convenient to have all the meals ready to heat up and eat, the orders were very close to being right every time. I almost didn't my frozen order in time the second month. The system of tracking food and activity is well laid out and easy to understand, as was the whole program. I had a hard time eating all the extra PFs, SCs and Veggies and contacted a counselor. =-( All she said was to cut a morning protein shake in half, it was too many calories, and eat the smaller portions of SCs and PFs... I already couldn't fit all the food in my day and she told me to space out my meals. Mixed feelings about the program. I'd say it's worth a try.

    Updated on 11/06/2020: I did not see a space to respond to Nutrisystem’s reply to my review, so I’m posting it here. Nutrisystem’s reply is factually accurate. The problem, however, as I pointed out in my original review, is that its auto renewal conditions are not clear at the time of purchase. Unless a customer scours the terms and conditions in the pages-long agreement, they will easily miss that they are signing up to pay, in my case, $640 for two months’ of products, rather than $320 for one month of products. They will also likely miss that a penalty of $125 will automatically be deducted from their bank account if they seek to return to the implied agreement.

    A Deloitte survey of 2,000 consumers in the U.S found that 91% of people consent to legal terms and services conditions without reading them, and I’m confident that Nutrisystem’s lawyers and marketing team are aware of this. This is why I have reached the conclusion that Nutrisystem’s practices are shady and why I’m going to the trouble to warn potential customers. No need for Nutrisystem to refer me to its customer service dept again; I have lost confidence in their services and am only posting this for the benefit of other consumers, not to communicate with Nutrisystem.

    Original Review: Read the fine print very carefully. Embedded deep in the terms and conditions of my subscription, for example, is a clause that says you’re committing to twice the implied financial agreement, and that a $125 penalty will be assigned if you cancel the second auto-delivery. Heather in Customer Service assured me that “95% of customers” read the pages-long fine print before committing, and I believe that to be a generous estimate unsupported by consumer studies. Buyer beware.

    I signed up for one month's worth of food and was charged for 2, when asking for a refund they said I would only get back $8 of the $299.98 that was charged for the second order.     WATCH OUT! Nutrisystem's website is very misleading about the costs of their monthly plans. The website makes it look like the "two for one" plan is the actual cost. When you see the cost of the plan on the computer it looks like you are getting the two months for one fee, when actually it is a monthly fee. It also hides the $125 cancellation fee that is charged when you find out that it is only a monthly fee and will be charged the same amount the next month. I recommend reading EVERY word on every screen before you sign up.

    At my initial sign up I was not provided specific information regarding the money back guarantee/the break down of cost (14 days is not long enough, I had hardly had one day of meals, the starter one week meal does not come until the second shipment, it needs to be 30 days). I was told how the payment would be. Just not how it applied to the Guarantee. One of my problems had to do with the shipping time of the frozen items (too long arrived thawed). Yes they did replace it but it took another delay.

    I initially explained to the phone representative a dietary issue but both the frozen and regular shipments had product in them that I could not eat even though I made another call the wrong items continued for one more shipment, the replacement frozen and the second frozen routine shipment. Yes, they did eventually replace those items (again unneeded delay and inconvenience). Last the food taste is only fair to not so good) their individual food ratings don't match mine. I have found thanks to them, that if you can make yourself eat smaller portions of (good for you) food that you can choose at the store, low fat, low calorie, low sugar, you don't need them or any other diet food meal delivery. I did ask for a partial refund, I didn't get what I felt was right but they did send something.

    While the food is good and I did achieve results (not nearly what was advertised), I'm ultimately dissatisfied with my experience due to the habitual late deliveries. 7 months, 7 late deliveries. No calls. I call them, can't talk to a human being, and get recorded excuses about current high demand for their services. Meanwhile, the company continues to advertise and seek new customers when they can't take care of existing customers. Here's the bottom line, folks: A lot of the foods are really good. Portion sizes are infuriatingly small and leave you hungry all day every day. Even if you follow the recommended supplementation of fruits and vegetables, eggs, etc. I was willing to tolerate the starvation. But I don't think anybody should have to tolerate habitual late deliveries without even so much as a courtesy phone call. - I would not recommend Nutrisystem. I'm already shopping other companies.

    Ordered Premium Select Your Own Product on Two for One Plan - 09.13.20. Spent well over an hour making selections, even correcting items they slipped in. Gave all information for making the purchase. Did a review of the order, which bore no resemblance to my order. Rejected the order and canceled it - got web response that the order was canceled - 09.13.20. Wrote an email to customer service requesting verification order was canceled 09.13.20. Got a response from customer support that the order cancellation was verified 09.14.20. Saw on my bank statement that the order was still Pending 09.14.20. Got an email from Nutrisystem that my order was being processed - 09.15.20. Got an email from Nutrisystem that my order had been shipped 09.16.20.

    Called Nutrisystem 09.16.20 and went over my order and was told that my Auto-delivery was canceled NOT the order itself - Reviewed the emails again and same response - that I would have to return ship the shelf food (but not the frozen food) and when they received it they would refund the money. Asked to speak to a manager and was told OK. After a couple of minutes I asked were they still there, she said she was waiting to hear back from her manager but had no idea how long that would take.

    Called FedEx with the tracking number and asked that they stop the shipment whereever it is and Return to Sender 09.16.20. Sent a Recap email with all the supporting documentation and asked this be addressed up the chain of command 09.16.20. Received an email from Nutrisystem that due to high volume that they would respond when they could 09.16.20. Met with the bank and asked them to flag the submission 09.16.20.

    When I ordered Nutrisystem they said you could lose 18 lbs in 2 months. I lost 9. The second month food was two weeks late so I had to try to figure out what I could eat in the meantime. The food they send you is awful. Every time I opened a package I wanted to throw up the smell was nauseating the portions were so small and yet loaded with calories you had to supplement with veggies and fruit which added more calories. After I received the 2 nd months food I had to make myself eat it. Their customer service was so bad when you called it took45 min to speak to an actual person who really didn’t help much. All in all I certainly would not recommend it to anyone. I’ve been on many diets and this is the worse one ever!

    Very disappointed with this system right now. Received frozen food today and it was all warm and thawed. My order took 5 days to be delivered. You would think paying all that money they would ship the frozen food overnight. Tried to call the call center but of course they are closed for the day and the online chat directed me to call the call center. What’s more annoying is after spending $350 on food I now need to go buy my own food that I’m sure they won’t replace the money for that because they took too long shipping my order and I have to wait until tomorrow to be on hold to talk to a love rep. My advise find another program. They do not have the support staff or call staff to help you when you need it.

    I had used Nutrisystem about 20 years ago with great success so thought I'd try it again. As before, I am highly pleased with the program and recommend it for weight loss. My loss has been slow but study but I feel that is the safe way and I love 98% of the meals I choose for myself. I will continue to use this system until I reach my goal of a 40 lbs weight loss. I am reading so many complaints about the service but I have never had a problem.     I have had a good experience with the food quality and getting used to what I like from them, as well good weight loss experience. However, I have had consistent issues with their system resetting my shipping address to a wrong address, calling their toll free number means you do not get a clear prompt as to which number reaches customer service. They seem unable to address the issue of their system resetting my shipping address I enter. Emailing their customer service department gets you a response in two days. The first two shipments I received in good timing, the last two have been slow in delivery and I actually ran out of their supplies, am frustrated with issues they seem unwilling to fix and lately getting slow and sloppy in their delivery. Never will understand why some companies advertise like crazy but do not take care of their current customers needs. Ordered some HMR from Amazon to eat whilst waiting on the next shipment. Geez.

    Updated on 08/18/2020: Nice pleasant public response but here is the list of the unanswered issue that isn't resolved. Last orders arrived on the 12th and the 15th of July. That means I run out of meals on Aug 9 and Aug 12. The new order arrived half on Aug 12 and the other half is supposed to arrive on Aug 20 (we’ll see). The date of half the meal plan of an arrival 9 days out from the first arrival is unacceptable. Covid has been going on for 5 months, so for Pete’s sake, the excuse of using Covid isn’t valid, especially since it isn’t a surprise that my order is needed to arrive 4 weeks after the previous arrival.

    There was no delay in taking my money for the order. Plan ahead and if anything else, have someone available to answer a phone call. I am out of half my meals, which is all of some of the daily plan for at least a week for a plan that is supposed to be consistent. Please don’t tell me about the 2 days of meals that I plan myself, because I already took that into account.

    Original Review: The rest of my order hasn’t shipped yet and I ran out of food last week. I’ll be without the food at least two weeks before I get the shel items. It shouldn’t be a surprise that I need food in 4 weeks. Unacceptable to try to stay on a plan when the food doesn’t arrive. Get as many people as possible to make money then drag on getting future shipments out before the previous food runs out.

    Snacks (chocolate pretzels) and some Nutrisystem bars arrived melted. Said I could customize my order and after doing so was charged 3x what I originally paid. I was told by email it was time for my next order and that I was allowed to customize it and I did so pursuant to the email. No response to my emails and was on hold for more than 45 minutes, never spoke to anyone so I left phone messages like the message said I could (never a call back) and the online chat feature doesn’t work.

    I wanted to speak to someone about my shipment problems but there was no such phone option which resulted in my being transferred from department to department with still no resolution to my problem. They are very good at deceiving you into purchasing additional product without being clear that you are ordering extra food. I was only able to talk to someone when I got an automated call telling me my next shipment was on its way. I again waited over 15 minutes to speak to someone. Was told they would cancel my service as requested but I was on the hook to pay for the shipment that was on the way. Only offered to buy back food (not frozen) from the previous shipment that I still had. They will determine how much a refund I receive when I send what I have back to them. BUYER BEWARE!

    My shipment of frozen food arrived completely thawed. No surprise because there was NO DRY ICE in it. I was on hold with customer service for 30 minutes only to have the person who picked up pretend like they couldn’t hear me for about 30 seconds. Loud pop music in the background as they shouted “Hello? Hello?” Before I got routed to voicemail. I paid almost 400$ for this stuff, and it’s not even that great but I was willing to stick to the program for another month. I’m better off getting fresh food.     I ordered my meals 2 months ago, when it got delivered everything that was cold was hot. I called for 3 days. Couldn’t get ahold of anyone! I finally got in touch with someone and they told me where to send the food to. Anyways I sent back the food, after 2 months I haven't got my refund. I call them almost everyday fighting for my money back! No one has helped me, I get the run around each time. This is the most horrible business I have ever dealt with!     The food was ok; however, when I only want to loose 20 pounds and I’m that overweight to begin with, I can’t be eating pizza, cupcakes and chocolate. I only lost 8 pounds and then started gaining weight again. The food is unhealthy too. No one should be eating that much sugar and it was basically junk food.     When I called to order Nutrisystem I was told I'd get a discount if I ordered 2 months instead of one, so I did. Food wasn't great but I was sticking with it. I couldn't get a hold of a live person on the phone so after wasting my time & phone minutes holding for 30-45 minutes at a time I realized I wasn't going to get any support/counseling, which is supposed to be included in the price.

    My 2nd shipment was being shipped too soon, I contacted them and asked if it could be postponed for one week, instead they rescheduled for about 2 weeks later. So I called on 6/23 and spoke with Dawn, I explained that I was very unhappy with everything and rather than postponing that 2nd month I wanted to see what I could do in terms of a credit back to my credit card. She told me she'd stop the frozen shipment & that when FedEx delivered the dry shipment to refuse it; she then assured me - multiple times - that I'd be getting "at least" a $155.96 credit back to my card.

    Here it is a month later, food was returned, email is still taking a week to get a response & no credit. I just called & held for a live person who told me that Dawn's notes had nothing about a credit, that my 2nd month was "free" so a credit was out of the question (which I'd not been told when I ordered), that we were on the phone for 20 minutes & she had other customers to take care of, when I asked for another number or email to contact corporate she said "I AM corporate" when announced herself as a weight loss specialist or some such nonsense - then said in no uncertain terms that I would NOT be getting a credit an practically hung up on me.

    I am out FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS!!! FOR ONE MONTH OF LOUSY FOOD & multiple headaches & stress! Honestly, if I knew that 2nd month was "free" and I'd get no credit, why in the world would I have sent it back? These people lie, their service is atrocious, and I just want what I was promised, which is that credit - that month of food wasn't worth $350, which is what it would work out to with the credit, without it I can't believe they really thinking charging me $500 for one month of food is fair - they have no ethics and I resent them playing me for a fool with their lies. Do yourself a favor & try NOOM or any other diet, you can find plenty of them, I'd avoid Nutrisystem like the plague!

    I decided to give nutrisystems a try. They had a guarantee you would lose 10 pounds in 2 months or your family money back. What a joke. I followed the plan to the letter. Downloaded the program. Kept track of everything. First week lost 1 pound. Very disappointing since it was billed as the quick start week and supposed to shed the most of weight. The second week. Nothing. Third week, 1 pound. Fourth week 1 pound. Tried to contact a counselor but had no success. Got an automatic response saying make sure to drink all water and track all food. Which I was already doing. Was set up for auto delivery however the next week's meals were delivered a week late. I was able to go to Walmart and purchase a "quick start" kit. That got me through. The next 4 weeks yielded the same. I lost a total of 7 pounds in 2 months. Horrible customer service. Food not delivered on time. Results not as promised.

    I received 4 shipments of frozen food without dry ice, hence, not frozen. The food is great, but their customer service is by far the worst I have encountered! I tried contacting them multiple times multiple ways. finally got a person and he did fix the current issue, but I asked to speak to someone about their customer service, then I went on chat, I even contacted some higher up employees via LinkedIn, NO RESPONSE! I lost 45 pounds, still have about 15 to go, but am going to do it without Nutrisystem. Already have and am still losing, so they are not the end all of dieting! If you want to do it, you can!!!

    I was new to the Nutrisystem plan. My second month order was paid for got email that I was being shipped. I got 1 package, but the frozen food never arrived. Tracked package through FedEx, (label produced, package never picked up). Well 17 days later 5 phone calls (average wait time on hold 55 minutes), 4 emails (none of which were answered) I still don't have my products that I paid for last month.

    When I call customer service they can't or won't give me any firm date of delivery, they can't or won't even tell me when my resubmitted order will even be processed and shipped. When I asked to speak to a supervisor or manager who may be able to answer my questions or expedite my resubmitted order I was told they can't connect me but they will forward my info. I understand mistakes happen but a good reliable company will admit them and do whatever it takes to make their PAYING CUSTOMER satisfied. Don't get me wrong the diet works I have lost over 15 pounds but their delivery of food service, and their customer service department either just don't care, or has no ability to get anything done for a PAYING CUSTOMER!

    I started and my first month came in 12 days. You get a dry package and a frozen package. Typically they are suppose to be two days apart. However I missed two of mine. Called them to advise them and she ensured one of the three orders would reship. However a week and a half later and I was on hold for 2 hours and then to be hung up on and they never called me back!

    I called again and she said there is nothing we can do. The turn around time is ridiculous. It’s disappointing too Bc you can’t follow the diet without your frozen food. You need all the month food to accurately follow the diet. It’s so disappointing because no one wanted to help or problem solve. Then after waiting on hold for the minimum 59 minutes each time calling in and getting nowhere. I had to cancel. It doesn’t work. Me and my husband had t cancel because the shipments were never on time.

    This month, I received the frozen food of someone else. I tried calling the hotline, but kept getting hung up on after the whole menu of options. I kept calling and trying different options, but still kept getting hung up on. I finally got through but I was so underwhelmed with the service. When I reported the incident, the customer service representative asked me, “well what do you want then?” I was expecting she would have had suggestions on what they can do to compensate for the mistake. She did not seem sorry on behalf of the company for the mix up.

    I then decided to send an email. It took a while to get a response but they finally responded. The lady I had spoken to previously had put a note on my file saying I wanted to get compensated for the service. I sent the list of frozen food that I did not receive and was happy to receive an email this morning saying that they would send me all the frozen food free of charge! I felt relieved with the service I had gotten through email. I was already ready to cancel my subscription after the service I got over the phone but thankfully I got better service through email.

    I lost 40 pounds while on Nutrisystem and would like to lose 15-20 more pounds. However, I decided to cancel Nutrisystem for several reasons: Positive comments: Your counselors were very courteous, helpful and supportive, when I could get in touch with them. Here recently, I tried to chat and call your 800# -- all within the hours posted on your website, but got a response that I was contacting Nutrisystem out of hours. After a couple of emails, I finally got a response. While the concept is a good one, which allows me to eat the right food items, the problem for me was the food items were not entirely edible. I don't like playing Russian Roulette with my food items when I'm paying $350 a month. There's got to be a better way.

    Negative comments: The food was a hit-or-miss situation, meaning, some of the food items had no taste to them and others were fine. I threw out quite a few items that were disgusting in taste. It got to a point that I didn't want to order anything differently, for fearing that it would not be good. I always followed the directions for serving.

    The frozen wraps were disgusting, the bread/wrap around the frozen product was tasteless; I told one counselor they tasted like cardboard (though, I've never actually tasted cardboard). Any bread product was not edible (hard to chew, even with my 'natural' teeth) after microwaving. The first time I tried an egg sandwich, the egg tasted like a sponge with moisture or water coming through. I tried to choose different products each month, but the last time I only ordered those products that I thought would taste good, which it then become only a few products -- which is not good for a diet. How is one to know which products taste good? I've decided to move on and do it alone. I've chosen my own food items to complete my weight loss and am doing fine with it.

    As of June 2020 Nutrisystem is claiming Covid-19 is preventing them from doing anything right. They are advertising a full menu of foods, but many of the higher quality foods are not available and they'll substitute inferior foods at their will. Yet, they never reduce the price of the rather expensive meal plans. Nutrisystem has also failed to meet adequate shipping times and monthly food deliveries show up 10 days late. When I complained saying I needed the food to stay on the diet a "counselor" replied, "I can help you with Flex meals." In other words, how not to use Nutrisystem.

    I ordered my NutriSystem on June 14 and it shipped on the 16th. According to the NutriSystem email and website I had until June 23 to make any changes. I do not like Asian food, I don't want cereal for breakfast and I certainly don't want sweet bars for lunch or dinner. She did not help me and transferred me to the survey tree. Which I gave her all 1's. I just want to cancel my account but there doesn't seem to be a way of doing that.

    Do not do business with this company. Someone without my knowledge used my credit card information and they flagged my account. I have been trying to rectify this situation for well over a month now and Nutrisystem does not care. I have emailed, called, chatted and nothing seems to change. My account is still locked and now my diet is trashed. They do not seem to care about their customers as I was given an telephone extension to call by one of the employees and he has not called me back. I am tired of having to fight to get my account back in good standing. I purchased $200 worth of gift cards and since my account is still flagged, I cannot use them and essentially have lost $200. Please stay away from this company if you expect to have good customer service.

    The program may work and the food may taste ok, but it doesn’t matter if you can’t count on the service. The first month the room temperature food arrived quickly and the frozen food arrived a few days later with one problem, it wasn’t frozen anymore. I called and they sent out a replacement that was good. I figured that everything moving forward would be fine.

    When it came time to ship the second month they shipped the room temperature food to arrive before the end of the first 28 days. The frozen food was shipped after I started the 2nd 28 days. This meant the only reason I had any lunches left was because I had ordered the variety pack of bars. To make things worse the late shipment of frozen food was thawed again. After a few days with them not shipping the replacement I ran out of lunches. At this point I called to ask for a refund and to stop the shipment. They claimed the 2 months was a buy one get one free so there wouldn’t be a refund. However when I ordered the deal was pay for 2 months and get 50% off with auto-ship. It doesn’t matter which deal it was since they didn’t provide the promised service. After giving up on the phone call I emailed customer service and 7 days later they still haven’t responded.

    I actually like Nutrisystem foods having lost 55 lbs in the past. My initial membership was back before frozen foods were offered. After a current membership of 1.5 years, I am dropping the program due to quality control and lack of food safety. Nutrisystem blames Fedex for defrosted food delivery. However, when I have been able to force Nutrisystem to add more dry ice to the packed styrofoam chest, the food arrives as expected. Although I have a note on my account which customer service acknowledges, I have to throw out the defrosted food and wait for a second delivery. Miraculously, the replacement order arrives completely frozen. Waste of time and product, which adds to cost. Poor business practice.

    Ordered 1 month food on 5/14/2020, Only 1 month. Received it on 5/22. This included the frozen and dry, except did not receive the first week box. Tried and tried to get though to customer service with no response. Finally got to talk with someone and she apologized and ordered it out it came 8 days later, now I could finally start the program. Checked my account and seen I was being auto billed for the next month. Once again called and emailed with very little satisfaction, final got through to a person who was very mouthy and agreed to cancel my order and 5 minutes after my credit card was billed $125.00. I think the way I was treated was not very fair and shouldn't have been charged the $125, Nutrisystem will not be on the top of my list to recommend to anyone.

    Nutrisystem food is very overpriced kid-sized portions that is basically not environmentally friendly. Package comes in styrofoam box and cardboard boxes with every meal basically a fast-food type of packaging. I tried to cancel and return my order as soon as I saw the packaging but the customer service gave me the run-around saying i needed to call another department or email to cancel.

    After several different phone calls and emails, I still could not return the product so I am basically stuck with the food. It would be ok if there were more choices for vegetarian but there really is not many good options. Most of food choices are cheese (dinner entrees) or sugar loaded (for breakfast) that I ended up gave most of the food away. It was a waste of several hundred dollars. My advice for those interested in signing up... just google the company and read the review (most of which are negative) and there's reason why you should not sign up... Poor customer service, not backing up their money-back guarantee, and poor food choices.

    I ordered nine ice cream sandwiches and got nine ice cream sundaes (not my favorite). I have waited to talk to someone on the phone for over twenty minutes. I also contacted counseling which they tried to help but they gave me the wrong option number to reach someone. Not satisfied with CS. I love the program but too hard to get thing straightened out.     Firstly, I followed the plan to a tee, DID NOT work! Secondly, most of the food tastes horrible. It’s absolutely amazing that when you try and order a la carte AFTER you stop the ‘auto renew’, it takes 3 weeks to arrive!!! But when you’re on the auto renew plan, food arrives within 3-4 days!!! WOW!!! That tells you exactly what this company is all about!!!!
