Your food products were excellent and filling. Your program allows weight loss as a pleasant experience. Your customer service is terrible. For that reason I have been attempting to cancel my membership. When I was unable to do that by phone or internet I email your customer services department which once again can through with directions to call and select an OPTION that does not exist on your recorded phone service.

I am so pleased to know that when I received a frozen shipment that had no ice and the food had defrosted, it will be replaced as soon as possible. I've had good success using this food to lose weight and just like the advertisement it tastes good and very easy to prepare.

I saw an ad on QVC for Nutrisystem. I purchased a plan which was to be broken down into two payments and that was it. Nutrisystem continued to send me food after the designated period and continued billing me. The first time I saw the extra bill was in May. I tried over ten times to contact them and was holding for like 40 minutes at a time. I received no help in resolving the matter because nobody was ever available to speak to me and they kept citing "because of Covid 19."I logged into my account with them and again there was no place for me to cite my concerns and ask them to refrain from charging me/cancel etc.
Eventually, I went online and got their corporate headquarters number (215) 309-1747. I pretended to be a new customer. Immediately, I was able to speak to a customer service representative. I told him of my situation and threatened to close my bank account etc and only then was I able to get some resolution.I am an upfront person and when people try to trick me etc, it stays with me. I will never buy from these people again.

I return all the products you sent back. All the products, 7 times cancelled my subscription, even paid out of pocket for the returns and later was my only 2 refunds were processed then recalled. Please let me know what was the reason for it and I demand all money back. Your company had no right to do this without informing me. Please look through your inventory for packages return back with OKSANA ** name on them. They all are from me and sent back my money.

I want to cancel my order. I cannot use your food. It raised my blood sugar and I had go to the emergency room due to high sugar content in your food. I cannot eat your food and it makes my ** stink and I am constipated even eating salads all day.

I need to know what foods to put together! I'm not happy with the frozen food! There is way too much sodium! The best thing going for me is the drinks! I’m very disappointed! Tried to get help to no avail! Would not recommend to anyone else!

Missing ordered items. Getting through via the telephone is at times difficult. So many different numbers to call, so many prompts to choose from. However once connected to the correct person, my concerns were quickly and professionally addressed. I was totally satisfied with my results. An added bonus was my assistant was friendly, cordial and empathic.

I have been with this program for over 2 years and have lost weight. However, when there is an issue the customer service is horrendous. The phone wait time is over 30 minutes and then you get disconnected. You send emails to the customer service department and get no response. I received a frozen ala carte order and it was completely thawed with no dry ice in the container. This is totally unacceptable and I will voice my concerns to everyone I meet.

I purchased the 30 day plan. This is 30 days supply of food and counselors available at any time. I received my first months food and there was only enough food for 20 days and not a full 20 days. The plan also does not include the fact that you are supposed to eat 4 snacks a day that you have to purchase yourself - also received pancakes and bagels that have no syrup or cream cheese (which is suggested that I use Nutrisystem's). I am supposed to add meals with salads but no dressing is supplied (again suggested I use Nutrisystem's dressing). This plan was advertised as "30 day plan for only $10 a day" but that is not the case when I have to add several items to my menu - at least another $300 worth.
When I tried to call them - I got a message saying that due to pandemic the offices are closed and they are not taking phone calls (but even though there is a pandemic they had no problem taking my order and charging me for it- I sent emails that were supposed to be replied to in 24 hrs and they were not- I tried chat a few times and was on hold over an hour before I finally spoke to someone that said that they only supply 20 days of food and you are supposed to provide your own meals for the other 10 day!!) Why would I pay for that?? And how is that $10 a day!!!! When I signed up for this and purchased this plan every time I tried to read what I was getting and what I needed to do I constantly had pop up adds popping up to distract me. Just trying to order this I had to deal with about 30 pop up adds.
I was leery about this - why are they trying to sell me more food when they are supposed to supply me with what I need?? The answer (on the adds) was that once you achieve your weight loss goal you could continue to order stuff you liked. I don't have enough room to add about how terrible the food is. The pictures online are NOT what you actually get - NOT EVEN CLOSE!! So basically Nutri System is just an online shopping mall for Very Crappy Food. If you want to actually do the 30 day diet plan you need to know that it will cost the price of their food + 4 snacks/veggies a day that you purchase+ groceries for 10 days of food + add ons that nutri system offers for the meals that they sent you, unless of coarse you like your waffles, pancakes and bagels dry!
And oh yeah they let you know that the shakes they have are needed for successful weight loss and diet- you also have to purchase those separate. Overall their 30 day plan will cost you about $700 - take that in, that is terrible chincy food for one person on a diet for one month. If I knew that I had to purchase and prepare my own meals I would have just went online and looked up a good diet plan!!!!

I am beyond thrilled with the counselors with whom I communicate on a daily basis since our Down Syndrome daughter is having the time of her life having been on the program five years ago. We are getting ready for her summer clothes now and what better way to do it than with Nutrisystem.! I now completely understand when your advertisement says "And you get to eat six times a day!" So absolutely true!!

Some time ago I emailed and Kelly replied. I reported I was disappointed that many of the pizzas I get have very little filling. I was told to do what I did. Send a lot number and description. Quality of your products should be under closer control. The image was in the last email.

I received 20 days worth of food, 10 days ago. I couldn’t identify the first week, then I realized that it must have been shipped separately. I have tried chatting, texting, emailing and phoning....nothing works. I should not have been charged for food that has not been shipped.

I sent an email with questions and the response from Bernadette ** told me to call the Customer Service number, which I did with the following result: I was unable to use any option in the phone queue to reach a live representative – even following your instructions of selecting Option1 then Option 5. Same loop stating that I can call Customer Service for help, which is, of course what I was doing. What do you suggest now?

Within 24 hours of receiving the two packages (frozen and non-frozen), it became clear to me that this would be NO DIFFERENT than any of the low-calorie diets that I had failed at (or, rather had failed me) over the past 35 years. None of that was clear from ANY of the TV advertising, which reduces it all to inaccurate simplicity: "You eat the food, you lose the weight." Well, no. It isn't quite that easy.
In any case, I contacted Customer Support the next day to cancel further shipments, and I was told that because I had signed up for a "special discount," I would HAVE to accept delivery of the second month's shipment or be liable for repaying the discount, which was $125.00. I had not eaten more than one day's worth of food from the special seven-day start up package. I had not touched any of the rest of the non-frozen or frozen food (which is safely frozen in my freezer). I would LOVE to return the unused portion (about 29/30th's) of the food, but I know they will not accept it. I plan to donate it to the local food bank, but I will not be accepting a second-month shipment. Why should I do that, when I know I'm not going to eat it anyway, but only donate it to the local food bank?
Whether the diet is effective for some people or not is not the issue. Right now they have a completely dissatisfied customer whom they are not inclined to provide satisfaction to. The only reason a company would try to extort an ADDITIONAL $125 from a customer after finding out the customer was unsatisfied with its product is because they KNOW they'd have a flood of dissatisfied customers quitting.
The food itself is worth nowhere near the $399.89 they charged me. Trying to force me to take more means they have an inventory they can't get rid of and need to clear out shelf space. Where Nutrisystem is concerned, CAVEAT EMPTOR.... let the buyer beware! I wish I had. Just searching for a simple "satisfaction guaranteed" provision would have been a favorable sign. Clearly, they don't care about it, though.

The food's nothing like you show on TV. Frozen food is nasty, and gross tasting, I'd like to see Marie Osmond eat it. All the food is loaded with carbs. It kept me from going to the grocery during Coronavirus shut down.

I know that during my first month I received the starter kit and however many meals. That month is over. I received my second month's shipment and discovered I only get 20 days of meals. I submitted the question, to confirm I received the correct amount, and received an answer that I did. So I am paying what I am paying for 2/3 of the month. For 66% of the month. That is completely insane and unacceptable. I was ok with 3/4 weeks; 75% of the month. I cannot settle for 2/3 of the month. As much as I hate to, because the program works for me, I will be calling to cancel my future shipments.

My orders came missing items and I could not connect with online chat or phone so I sent email. Honestly I was a bit grumpy I'd been having a difficult day. My email was answered within hours and because of the difficulty contacting anyone Nutrisystem unexpectedly added extra items. What amazing customer service. I have not been losing fast and that is my fault because I was not eating enough and didn't believe counselor who said I should add more of recommended foods. Honestly, I was afraid to go out during the virus.
Finally in my PPE I bought vegs and fruit and cottage cheese. Immediately I started to lose again. The food surprised me that it was good and the food I did not like I could change before my next order. The virus and wanting to start my own construction business was the catalyst to get back in shape. You are all so kind and helpful. I tell everyone about the program. Unfortunately I stay home as much as possible so they haven't seen me yet but just wait. You all rock! I so believe in you and the program. Any chance of adding fish (salmon)? And thank you for going the extra step and changing my day from grumpy to fantastic.

I began this program thinking it would curb my grocery shopping needs. I didn't do enough research. 1) The food is processed with high salt content, and high carb content and you are expected to add in all your vegetables, fruits and often protein. For example, a small portion of instant mash potatoes is considered their offering for lunch. You add everything else. 2) The web site is focused on an effort to sell you something more.
3) It was extremely difficult to get through to anyone via phone with questions and I found that they simply referred me back to their web pages which I found difficult to maneuver through. I could find no reading material to simply walk me through the program and expectations. I was told online they'd send me some. I never received it. The comparison between what they provide in customer service and the responsiveness I got when I worked with Weight Watchers is like night and day. Nutrisystem makes is very difficult to unenroll and penalizes you if it's not done in a specific time frame. 4) The cost varies wildly. No matter what you pay, you're paying too much. You'll see a better deal the next day online and you can't go back and negotiate with them...partly because you can't get a person to talk to unless you sit on the phone for long waits. All in all, an extremely disappointing experience.

This is supposed to be my second month of service but customer service lies and blames me for their auto order not being set correctly to get me food on time. Plus yell at me and call me incompetent. I was also hung up on my first call attempt after 45 minutes on hold and in second call customer service lied repeatedly saying when I called in my order the representative told me about the delay. I did it all online and he was the first employee that even said a word to me.

I wanted to share my experience, I've spent a ton of money $125 my cancelling early because the food & the lack of information & assistance was not there. I signed up the a two for one deal, I paid over $500 and expected to receive two months of food that I ordered online. This is what happened. Nutrisystem charged my account $500 plus dollars. To me 2 for 1 meant get one month for free, no, they said I didn't order that, I did order that...
They charged me extra to get some foods that actually tasted fair, most of the food was not satisfying, tasted awful, too much pasta, too much chicken, but didn't taste at all like chicken, I had to call a few times to get shakes that I paid for but didn't receive. If you are thinking about purchasing Nutrisystem I advise you not to. The program is not very clear, food tastes awful & hard to get someone to help you, they do a lot of pretending. I still have frozen food in my freezer that is just terrible. Just imagine spending over $600 and being dissatisfied, nobody cared, don't order. I have been ripped off big time.

I sent the DNA test in and I have USPS tracking confirmation that it was delivered to the front desk of the lab on March 2. But on my account, it says the lab is waiting for my sample. I contacted the counseling department by email and called the number they gave me on their response to do the test again but there was no way to talk with anyone in person.

Since I’m on day 12 and still waiting for my first shipment of freezer food and have no snacks or dinners and no Confirmation email that anything is even on its way as far as delivery… I’d say this experience sucks and I might just want my full refund since nobody’s available to talk to me or help me… I paid all this money and get treated like I ordered ice water.

They give you 5 food items a day that total up to 1000 calories. If I would have eaten 1000 calories of chocolate, I could lose weight. The food is terrible, small, and unsatisfying. Then when you cancel the autoship that's in the fine print, you're charged $175 for cancelling. Buyer beware. Don't use this program.

2. Nutrisystem’s minimum enrollment requirement is for (2) months.
3. I proceeded to ask that my account be cancelled and was told that if I canceled, I would be charged a cancellation fee in the amount of $125.00.
4. If I went ahead and received my May order, I could cancel for the following month of June and the cancellation fee would be waived.
These important details are not provided, when you place your order, nor any information on what to expect once you receive your order. The order comes in two shipments: 1. Items that require refrigeration/freezing and 2. A 7 Day Starter Kit – (Reboot Box). The items that required freezing arrived first and the starter kit arrived mid-day, the next day. I had no idea that the starter kit box was for use, the first week, until I investigated further.
At the time when I placed this order, I was under the impression that this was a very honest, reliable, dependable and reputable company, but my opinion has quickly changed. After reading all the negative reviews on the Consumer Affairs website, which details all the negatives that I have listed above. I wish I knew then, what I know now.
Now to the evaluation of their food. The food is horrible and not fit for human consumption. I am still forcing myself to eat the food that is leftover in my freezer, as I would otherwise feel like I have wasted money, which I have. All the breakfast bars and snack bars are chocked with excessive sugar. Other meals are high in carbs. My meals had a lot of pastas, which became difficult to consume. And by the way, the first week I lost a little weight, only to gain it back weeks 2 and 3. If the country/state had not been suffering through this Covid-19 pandemic, I would have returned this product to Nutrisystem.

I have dietary restrictions and the need of dally GI monitoring test due to removal of a large sections of my large and small (ileum included) intestines because of a precancerous tumor. Thus, I CANNOT have chocolate, lettuce, or any products that contains annatto. I also HAVE to restrict fats. I lost the portion of my bowel that metabolizes fats, ions, etc. I now take a drug to metabolize fats. Ms. Bernadette ** was great in making sure that the choices. She was great. Nutrisystems may be the solutions for many people that have undergone bowel resection and that need to develop new diets (**).

My wife and I both decided to try the Nutrisystem plan. We are both in our early 50s and have never tried a diet seriously before. TV commercials and online advertisement looked great. However, what I did not know is that the quantity of food is very little. I am a large man and found it very difficult to eat such small amounts. We did our best in picking out the types of food we thought we would like some of it tasted awful. We stuck with it for the first month and decided it did teach us good habits however we do not want to continue. I called in week three to cancel future orders and was told my credit card was already charged. Fortunately, they were able to stop shipment. However, I did have to pay $125 cancellation fee as I was canceling before two consecutive orders. I guess I didn’t read the fine print. Feel like we got ripped off. I would not recommend.

I spent days trying to talk to customer service who wouldn’t refund me for their foods that were giving me a stomach ache. I told them I have irritable bowel syndrome and told them their food was making me sick. I offered to return their food and they refused a return or refund. Buyer beware because this is bad food and will make you sick, customer care doesn’t care about your health, only that they make a sale.

My first shipment took over 2 weeks, showed my account was charged, then it was gone from my bank account and no one could tell me what was going on for a week - just told me to wait so I wasn't sure if it was charged and shipping or what was happening. Finally two weeks later the charge went back on my account and the food shipped. The next month I went in and it showed that my next shipment would be full price (was supposed to be buy first month, second month free), had to call again and was assured that it would change when I put it charged me - not a very good feeling waiting and wondering how much my account was going to be charged.
In the meantime my husband joined and we had the same experience with him. When he decided to cancel after 2 months and I called, they accidentally cancelled my account. I noticed within 30 minutes that this happened and called back. Instead of reinstating my account, (Which I also forfeited the 50.00 bonus I had earned) they changed the name on my husband's account to my name, but I had to go in and change my email, phone number, etc. When the gentleman I was talking to recognized how frustrated I was, he offered to to lower my price to 223.76 per month for six months and I agreed to stay.
The next week I had to call back because the email wasn't working and I confirmed the pricing of 223.76 until September. One week later I went into my account to adjust my next order and the auto-shipment information was gone and I had no upcoming shipments at all. I called again to find out what was happening and they had to 'reset my password'. Once it was reset and the Auto-shipment was back, the rate went back up to the 273.76 for my next shipment (was supposed to be discounted until September - which actually had been verified my last phone call!) and while on the phone I asked and was told that no, they can only do that for one month because it is a coupon, even though I had twice been told that it was until September.
It feels like I never know what I am going to get charged or what is actually happening. I haven't decided whether to stay with this and keep having to call to check on the account or try a different program - I had luck with a competitor before and never had this many issues. This one is working for more but seems like it is more work on my end than it should be to keep track of the program, policies and charges.

There are no prompts to help with shipping issue. I ordered extra frozen food and the order came totally melted. It took 5 calls to find someone who refused to give me a refund. They only give reship. They do not care for customer problems. They want your money but are not there to help you.

Ordered via phone sales and was not told if second month was canceled, my account would be charged a $125 since they claim the first month was discounted. Online you must click on Terms of service to see you will be charged $125 if you cancel second month. Believe me the full price offered at $600 is nowhere worth this price for what you receive. Not enough dinner meals were included. I would say this is a scam!

I cancelled an order within an hour of placing it due to a state mandated shut down with Covid 19 I got confirmation that it was cancelled not to worry. Next morning got another email, "Your order has shipped!!" I had to call several #s to get a person. He was not helpful. Said nothing he could do. No supervisor since he was at home. No pick up label was sent. No refund to my card of 299.00. Sent several more emails. Still no answer except one say, "I see you already spoke to someone." Aghhhh such bad customer service!! Just want a refund and for them to arrange pickup. I cannot drive to a post office. It’s illegal. I will get fined. Terrible terrible company.

I am writing you about my experience in hopes to improve your system of initial communication. I understand that not everyone may have had the same experience. When I signed up...paid with my credit card, I got no acknowledgement of my order. Yet it showed up as pending on my credit card then disappeared then showed up again. Perhaps that was due to my credit card, but between that and a lack of confirmation was confusing at the least. Five days went by before I heard trom Nutrisystem and when a order might come (up to 10 days more). In the meantime I had to buy more groceries. I would ask you to send a confirmation immediately of receiving the order.

Policy is deceiving. Wanted to try it out, my thought process was they would be an honest company. Subscribed for one month, so I thought. The food came in and honestly half of it was good but the other half (mostly dinners) are not. I get a notification from my bank they are billing me for a second box. I called in an attempt to stop the charges. One I didn’t do a auto refill. Two thanks to the coronavirus money is tight. After jumping through hoops to try and get a live human on the phone, I was told they are charging me 150 dollars for canceling. Granted I never signed up for auto refill. You would think a large company like Nutrisystem would not have to steal.

I have found the meals very nutritious and tasty. I am used to skipping meals and not getting the nutrition my doctor says I need. This makes it really easy to eat through the day, get the proper nutrition, and feel good. I just began a few weeks ago and have more energy and lost a few pounds. The people who serve customers are very knowledgable, patient and friendly. They helped me personalize my order and taught me how to use the Numi app to track what I am eating to stay balanced. I highly recommend them if you are someone (like me) who forgets to eat, or I believe would be satisfying for someone who may eat too much.

To be fair...the ordering process over the phone was good. However, obtaining follow on help has been very confusing. I received my frozen food first with NO information on the next steps, then I received my dry food with little to no actual instructions?!? I called and after going through those awful recordings pushing numbers, I finally talked to a rep. She was not that helpful other than to direct me to the Numi app...I thought there were counselors to assist and guide you through their program, but NO it's all about the app and no human help! Pretty expensive for not having better directions and paperwork to get a client started. Older versions sound much better as you were provided with trackers and people willing to help, I normally have a difficult time getting anyone to answer a call! So starting week one, feeling a bit lonely as I expected better support considering I spent over $700!! It might be a short ride...

The sad fact is I used this program twice. Both times I cancelled over poor customer service. You cannot charge people four hundred dollars plus a month and treat them poorly. I wish I could bypass the entire program and just buy the food. I actually lost weight both times! But it is just not worth the awful service. I truly believe the downfall of this company will be at the hands of rude front line employees. The diet works but the interactions with the company are largely negative.

I tried it for a few months and the orders were wrong and I was not losing weight. The best part about it is that it was convenient but there are so many options now I will go elsewhere. The last straw was when they delivered my food order to a house 20 miles away with a similar address to mine. The nice lady called me because my phone number was on the package... Apparently this happens often. While storming I drove 30 min in a storm to pick up packages. When I called them no managers were available and they said I could not get a refund. Too many options... Go somewhere else.

Nutrisystem billed us for a month of food. Two weeks later, the food had still not arrived. I called customer service at Nutrisystem to inquire about where my food was. The representative told me my order had not shipped and that she didn't know when it would ship. She said it was "delayed", but she didn't know why. She promised that she would "expedite shipment" of my order and also send me a week's worth of free food to compensate me for the inconvenience and aggravation of having to suspend my diet. A week later, my order had still not been shipped and the "week's worth of free food" wasn't even in their computer system, according to the representative I spoke with today.
Nutrisystem makes unrealistic promises with their television commercials but does not follow through on service. The customer service department is negligent and incompetent. You will pay them for food, but whether you receive the food for which you paid is a gamble. YOU CANNOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR DIET PLAN. AVOID NUTRISYSTEM!

ONe month of Uniquely Yours plan $339.98 but if you want BOGO then that will cost your $568. Then they tell you that they realize it is "confusing" and "we're working on it" (I recorded our conversation, exact words verbatim) and then ask to take your order. WTF!

I have lost 115 lbs and I honestly don't think I could have done it without Nutri-System. I'm a pretty picky eater and yet I managed to find plenty of tasty foods and snacks on the Uniquely Yours plan to keep me on track. The monthly challenges on Numi really keep me motivated because I want to win all the free things! I have had to contact customer services a few times along the way and have always been met with a friendly person who was able to answer my questions or resolve my shipping issue.
If I had to pick one criticism, it would be the excessive packaging and styrofoam use. I understand that shipping the frozen foods is a delicate issue and it's highly important that the foods arrive safely and still cold. It's just that the containers add up and it's hard to find a good way to recycle them. Although I've reached my goal weight (and changed from the UY plan to the Advantage a la Carte plan), I believe I'll continue to order my favorite foods. I can't live without the pizzas! When people ask how I did it, I'm always happy to answer "with NUTRI-SYSTEM"!!

I received my box of Nutrisystem and was delighted to start the program. The second day into the routine I discovered mold on my pizza and on the other bread related foods. I was so concerned about eating any of the food for fear it was old, I threw it away. So...I spent money on throw away food. Updated on 02/27/2020: I gave them all the information they requested and sent it where they requested and still no one has contacted me! This is the last time I will ever deal with Nutrisystem!! For a minute I was fooled when they initially responded and I told my husband maybe they did want to resolve it but that has not happened, haven’t heard a peep, so I will be searching for a better customer service experience with a different company and spend my money where they truly care about the person ordering from them!
Original: I called Nutrisystem to purchase the shakes because I already purchased a starter box at Walmart.. I just wanted 1 box to see if I liked them.. The salesperson kept pushing me to buy a plan. I need to know I like the product first. He finally got it and it came. When I needed help with the NuMi app I was on hold for 1 hour and 8 minutes and the girl was very mean. Like I was taking up her time. So I tried to figure it the best I could. I liked the food but when I did call and try to come up with the best plan for me the salesperson wasn’t listening so I got frustrated and went back to different Walmart’s because they don’t keep a lot in stock. I had to travel a minimum of an hour to do this. I really wanted to do this diet but it isn’t anything like they describe on TV like they are ready and willing to help you.
I have been on it for almost a month and I’ve lost 12 pounds but I’ve had to order from Amazon and others plus went to a Hannafords grocery store to purchase food packets (2 hours away) just so I can have a variety. In between I have called Nutrisystem and again they do not listen they have messed with my order to where it had to be cancelled. I feel that they should be kinder with an ear to actually listen not just push sales and drop you. I shouldn’t have to travel all over when Nutrisystem is a phone call away. Every time I use my NuMi app I get mad because I should be able to benefit from the discounts because I am paying extra from other suppliers!!!! The food is good but customer service is HORRIBLE!!!! It makes me have anxiety!

I assume a timeshare salesman for day job - I told him probably 20 times to cancel and he kept ignoring me -- I may have come back and tried your program again -- I've used WW a couple of times - but after that experience I would not use Nutrisystem again if it were the only place on the planet to get food! Horrible annoying experience!!

I started this program because your advertisement states great food, well more than half of my food is MRE style food. I am a 25 year veteran, I ate better in the desert, some of the prepackaged dinners are worthless, I cannot imagine eating something for dinner out of a pouch. Now you tell me I have to call you to cancel, well, I tried and then was placed on hold for over 15 minutes. I will do this the hard way, cancel my credit card you all have on file so you cannot charge me anymore, since you wont answer my phone calls, and your emails stated I HAVE TO CALL YOU. You all should be sued for false advertisement, these meals are not delicious, they are prepackaged garbage.

Like the product a lot. The problem is the buy one get one month free promo is a scam. I clicked on a bogo link sent to my email. I ordered a month plus shakes for $335. The shakes were extra so I didn't expect those to be free the following month. To my horror, they charged my card $395 dollars the next month. They claimed I was not signed up for buy one get one free even though I clicked the link on the add they sent me. I called them and expected some sort of credit. I talked to several rude people who basically said they were sorry but there was nothing they could do. Long story short, They charged me almost $800 for two months worth of food. I canceled but want to warn everyone THE BOGO SALE IS A SCAM. Too bad. I would have been a long time customer.

It has been 2 weeks and I like it. Some other reviews say you have to buy other groceries, of course you do. They can't ship you milk or fresh fruit or vegetables. But it's not much at all, it's just necessary add-ons for complete nutrition. I love the NuMi app, it helps track things so easily! I eat something pretty much every 2-3 hours and I haven't been hungry at all. The program helps me get my 4 vegetable servings in every day--I know I am eating better and drinking more water. The app syncs with my FitBit, too! I'm excited to keep going because I think I'm headed to a fabulous destination and look forward to seeing this through to my goals. The only reason I subtracted a star is because some of my shipment came with torn food wrappers and I hope that food isn't bad! We'll see...

I have been using Nutrisystem for 3 weeks approx. and have enjoyed the shakes and vitamins and some of the meals. However, I find some of the "snacks" unappealing and therefore do not want to eat. Also, I find that many of the food choices include beans and tomato sauce mixes, which I have difficulty eating because of digestive problems with lectins. Since most of the food items have this, I find that I do not want to eat this. Please cancel future orders and do not charge my credit card future. I do appreciate the service I received when I called and the deliveries are timely and well prepared, but I do not find that I can continue to use as the food choices are not good for my digestive system and tastes. The cheese puff snacks and pretzels are very dry and taste like sawdust...sorry to say, but hope this might help in future preparations for food items. Thanks for your help in cancelling future orders.

We found a fraudulent order on our credit card that someone ordered Nutrisystem on our credit card. We have been trying to reach someone for 2 hours and we are on hold. We notified the credit card company and funny how you can't get someone on the phone to speak to at Nutrisystem. Guess they have to make money somehow because if you know anyone that has ever used these diet programs you know they are now on maybe the 9th or 10th different fad diet. They don't work, they just make money on all of us that like to eat the wrong foods and eat too much. Stay away from these companies!!!

This plan is obviously for the very large and very young! If you’re you’re like me... older with a slow metabolism, 1200 calories a day means weight gain, not loss. I followed the diet precisely. First week I lost three pounds. Thereafter slowly gained it all back and then some after three weeks. Definitely not worth the bucks... Very discouraging. Then you’re charged a large penalty if you stop the program!

I got my "diet plan" in two installments with zero documentation on how to start. NO ONE at the call center understands the program and the levels. Three people said "I don't understand" either why I didn't get the "crush" shakes or the first week booster or whatever it was I didn't get. You have to go shopping after you get all your food because Nutrisystem now insists you buy your own "Power" bla blas or your "Smart carb" bla blas as a way to not expend money under the guise of being "flexible" and healthy. Used to be good but now it's a scam.

This is their refund policy: “Regular subscribers can request a return or refund within 30 days of their delivery. After 30 days, Nutrisystem provides a refund for unopened, non-frozen Nutrisystem foods. Customers can also request a full refund within 14 days of their first order, not including à la carte and weekly orders.” I ordered my first Nutrisystem shipment November 2nd. Returned 2 weeks worth of dry food 2 weeks later (after a phone conversation and specified instructions). I requested to stop further shipments, but the request was ignored and another box was sent/credit card charged. After 2 phone and 3 email attempts, two months and a half later, I’m still waiting for my refund. I have been patient and trusted that this is a trusted company and the total of $433.86 will be deposited back into my visa in reasonable time. However, unfortunately, this is not the case. I am still waiting for my refund. I am very disappointed.

The food was advertised as good tasting and eat what you want. The food was not as advertised and did not taste good. Your TV reps were paid vs people like myself. When I was cancelling my order the rep continued to tell me that I did not follow the directions. I repeatedly told her I followed the directions and asked if she was calling me a liar. It was not a pleasant conversation. I admit I became frustrated but felt I was being mistreated especially when she immediately took our $125 from my wife’s PayPal. I will never use or openly endorse your product due to the way I was treated by your call rep.

The initial purchase was a breeze. After the first month I knew this was not going to work for me. The sodium content is so high and I was bloated the entire time. I tried to cancel my next order but was unable to get an actual person. I tried to do it over email and the chat feature but they just delayed the shipment another month. After 45 minutes I finally talked to someone who told me there was nothing they can do. I explained the situation and he told me they had no record of my attempts and kept saying “all the calls are recorded” and insinuated I was lying.
Finally I insisted on talking to his supervisor to explain his behavior on the phone. He told me his supervisor doesn’t deal with this stuff. I pushed harder and he said he would check for one and then put me on hold. Then he picked up the phone and after I said hello he hung up on me. I’m still not sure my order has been canceled. I will try stopping the charged through my credit card company I guess. If I could give it 0 stars I would.

You offer a referral of a drop off site for of the EPS foam. My closest site is over 100 miles in Phoenix AZ! Admittedly, recycling this 'stuff' is problematic, but you could easily remedy it by allowing us to ship it back to you! The two boxes that my wife and I received are both clean and in very good condition. There is NO reason they can not be used again. It would also reduce YOUR cost of continued shipments. With your volume of shipments via FEDEX, it would probably also be possible for them to include a return label to you for minimal cost. I would be willing to share that burden as I'm sure others would as well. Please let me know what you plan to do to help in this effort to reduce landfill waste.

I do not want to speak of the value of Nutrisystems healthwise just their deceptive way of making money. I ordered ONE month of Nutrisystems. There was a promotion for BOGO (Buy One Get One) but I didn't know Nutrisystems so all I wanted was ONE MONTH so I could see if it was what I wanted. I continued to receive emails from there about changes to my plan and what I would like to order. I ignored them, I wasn't completely displeased with what they had sent but I did NOT want another month of it. I NEVER SIGNED UP FOR A RECURRING SYSTEM. Nutrisystems is DECEPTIVE and I believe DISHONEST about this.
I received an email that my next months meals had shipped. I DID NOT RECEIVE AN EMAIL BEFORE HAND SAYING ANOTHER SHIPMENT WAS BEING PREPARED, NO, they waited until it was too late for me to cancel. When I canceled I find that they had NOT in fact shipped and that I had signed up for two or more months so by canceling I would have to pay them a $125 cancellation fee.
They charged my account the $316 for a months worth of their food and once I cancelled they charged an additional $125. I received an email saying they will refund the $316 within the next two weeks. There is no way to understand what you signed up for on their website! There is no way to cancel from their website! It is hard for me not to think of them as slimy, crooked. I do not recommend going with them. They are deceptive and make their money in a backhanded way.

With all the advertisement you would think they have great service. I ordered this for the 3rd time. I never wanted a second month but when I called to cancel the person on the phone scolded me. She said, "You have a cancellation fee," and it will cost me more. All those commercials about LOGO is a Hoax. If you order 1 month it's $650. If you split each month $347 (total $ 694) where is the second month free? Awful. Their breakfast and snacks are not tasteful at all.

In November of 2019, I placed an order for the Chocolate Shake. I waited several weeks for its arrival and subsequently called to find out about my order. I was informed that I had cancelled my order. I had done no such thing and I had no idea why my order had been cancelled. I asked the representative to place the order, again. In about 10 days, I received the Shake postage due. Evidently, the amount of postage on the package was $10.00 short. I was furious and refused to pay the additional postage. The package was refused and returned to the postman to be sent back to Nutrisystem.
Today, January 20, I called the company to check on my refund. I was told that since I hadn't followed the proper procedure to initiate a return, no credit would be forthcoming. This was an $80.00 purchase. I was not the one who underestimated the shipping charge. The expectation Nutrisystem voiced, that I should have absorbed the extra shipping charge, is unrealistic. I am going to battle Nutrisystem for my $80.00. All I can say is that their customer service lacks professionalism.

Buyer beware....Nutrisystem claims all they want when you are ready to buy saying 30 days money back guarantee and no obligations....guess AGAIN!!! Once you buy and you don't like the food you are stuck with it. If you have to return, they don't do returns on frozen food. Non-frozen food you have to pay for shipping and you have no clue how much they will refund you - shipping cost might be more for you than the return food. They have no support system or people on the phone to help you. I definitely do not recommend anyone to buy nutrisystems.

We provide customers with the return address and a return number, and they can use any shipment method they wish to send back the non-frozen meals. My wife and I went on the Nutrisystem site and signed up for the BOGO (buy one month get one month free). The cost was supposed to be about $360 for the first month. When we checked out we saw that we were being charged $468 for the 1st month and $509 for the second month. We called to try and resolve the issue but were unable to do so. We canceled the order.

We have been on and off Nutrisystem several times. Bottom line: IT WORKS. The food is pretty decent and the plan is simple to follow. The reason that we will not do it anymore is the REQUIREMENT for snacks and desserts. There should be a plan that leaves out the snacks and desserts. PLEASE!!!

The Fresh Start Shakes and the NutriCrush Shakes are nearly identical. The NutriCrush shake has a less added sugar and fewer calories. I spoke with Kailey about some ingredients that I can no longer have, mainly tomatoes. I had several lunch and dinner entrees that had lots of tomato in them. I offered to send them back to exchange but she told me that wouldn’t be necessary. She ordered replacements for me and they arrived in three business days. Kailey was pleasant and professional.

I just started the diabetic Nutrisystem and was very pleased until I opened the flat bread garlic pizza. The flat bread has mold growing largely in two spots even though the package says it is fresh until May 2020. Will be contacting Nutrisystem to replacing this with a different item. Hopefully I won't have this problem again. Most of my products thankfully are frozen, this one is one of the non-frozen prepackaged items.

I ordered my first month of food online. It was not $249 as advertised. It was over 350 dollars. So I thought I heard an offer on TV that stated they were offering BOGO. So I utilized the “chat” option for customer service and asked if I was getting the bogo offer and they said no. No $249 as advertised. No BOGO as advertised. I sure hope the food is good. Hasn’t arrived yet.

I just received an email informing me that my Quick Start Meals has come in a separate smaller box. I did place a complaint for not receiving it which was actually confusing. Now I am even more confused and disappointed. I know very well that I was supposed to get it. I didn’t even have instructions for anything and at this point, I haven’t even been able to start the program. This is discouraging and upsetting. I received a large frozen food container and a cardboard box with 2 shakes and dried goods. I DO NOT have the QUICK START or even instructions.

In your very first auto-delivery order you should receive a guide in your Body Reboot kit, assuming one is included with the plan you enrolled in, along with a Quick Start Guide. A Body Reboot kit is not included if you signed up for a Diabetic plan and it is not included if you opted to completely customize your very first order. It also will not be included after the first shipment.

The reply kept telling me there were no free packages. I did not ask for free packages, I only stated that your costs were too high and not affordable for me to invest in. You also stated there was a gift card from Costco; however, there is not a Costco anywhere near where I live. I feel that you should think about providing something that is more cost effective for people to utilize that does not take over half a paycheck to pay for. While I need assistance in both losing weight and lowering my A1C, I will keep searching for other companies.

We state that there are no opportunities for receiving the plan at no cost, an option that would be affordable for anyone, because we want to know that we occasionally do have this. We can offer other suggestions, which is where the Costco Cards come in. While we understand not everyone has a location near them, we don't know where you are emailing from, so we add it in case.
We also have plans that provide less foods, which would cost less. While this is not the full plan, you can still get the full benefits of the plan with this option.

Those discounts are always based on our one-time order price. We have a standard auto-delivery discount that does not include a second month free, but we also have the BOGO delivery option. With that option, members pay the full, one-time order price for their first order, then the second order just costs the packing fee and any applicable sales tax. That option does save you more overall than our standard auto-delivery discount, though we have other options to save for those that may not be able to pay the full price up front.

Nutrisystem advertises buy on month get one month free. One month is $309. So, if the second month IS free it should be $309; however when you enter the "BOGO" promo code the first month becomes $559 and the second month is "free". That is false advertising! All you doing is jacking up the first month's costs to carry the second month. It should be "bogus" instead of "bogo" because the second month is not "free".

I am a first time NutriSystem customer (starting my second week today) and so far I am delighted with the plan! I lost a whopping 6.8 pounds the first week! The support and counseling teams are fantastic. They are always friendly, encouraging, and helpful. They never rush me off the phone or chat. I have to tell you that I was a bit skeptical when I signed up thinking the food would taste terrible, that there would be no support behind the system, and that I would not lose any weight. How glad I am that I was wrong. :-). Yay!
I’m going to try to call Lynn again shortly to get help with the NuMi app. I scan in a Nutrisystem entrée and it does not recognize it. It may be that the entrée is still very new - it’s the Protein Power Mango Verde grain entrée. When I lose a little more weight so that it is noticeable I will certainly tell all my friends about NutriSystem!

So far the experience has just been OK for me. I am having very slow weight loss. I called last week to talk to a counselor and was on hold for 40 minutes. No one ever picked up so I hung up. I tried the online chat and it was not available at the time. I also sent an email on 1-6-20 asking how I get more of the printed daily trackers. Someone finally replied to me today - 1-13-20 (a week later) and said they no longer print them. They sent me a PDF but I don't want to print it myself. They pointed me to the Numi app. I don't like the app, the booklet works better for me. I am disappointed in the lack of support and how slow the weight loss is so far. Your program is completely promoted as quick weight loss the first 2 months with all kinds of support available. My experience so far has not proven your advertising to be accurate.

I ordered what I thought was BoGo. Not only am I not getting BOGO like I thought but I can’t even cancel without a fee. I can’t afford this, this puts me in a tight spot in life. So now I have to suffer because the website is misleading. I thought I was getting two months for 330 and now that I’m not and I paid the 330 I can’t cancel without a fee??? So I have to pay 230 (that I don’t have) this is miserable. Or I have to pay $100 to cancel. Not fair.

Then on 1/9/20, I tried to change my arrival day to a few days earlier. Again, I was not able to do it. The only thing I could do was the default of 1/9/20. See the attached message. As you notice it says it can be changed until 1/8/20 (which had already passed).
I tried to contact someone through chat and CHAT WAS NOT WORKING. Of course. 2nd time that had happened to me. So, I clicked on email. Without realizing until I sent it, my complaint was coming from my default email, which was not what I signed up with. So went to the my correct email address and found an address for customer service. I sent the same email to them. Well I get 2 emails yesterday about my order having been cancelled as I requested. They thought I was trying to make changes to my order and it was being processed, so they just cancelled it. Apparently, they didn't pay any attention to why my real complaint was about your website. So, I had to spend time to talking to customer service to get it straighten out.
I like Nutrisystem and I am basically doing it for maintenance now. The website used to be so easy to use. Now almost every time I use it there are changes, and something doesn't work. My neighbor has just recently quit Nutrisystem because of the problem she incurred on the website and have to wait so long to talk to a person. I am a retired developer and database admin. In retirement, I still do some web developing. Your website is not user friendly at all. You should be able to find customer service contact easily. I can't find it anyplace on your site anymore. I am guessing because you are getting too many complaints. Please fix your website. Right now I cannot delay an order even though it tells me that I am within the time frame to change it. I click on the calendar and all dates are grayed out and have been for over a month. FIX IT. I am about ready to follow what my neighbor did and quit because of your website. Thanks Joan **.

You must get a lot of people angry with you to have references of you are responsible for what you write. I have been in contact with you in regards to selling my mom who is 81 years old Nutrisystem for 3 months. She thought she was getting - buy a month get a month free. That is what your card says that she received in the mail. She has been charged 3 months. She is on a fixed income and no one seems to care. She did not read the small print. Would you at 81? What would you do if it was your mom or grandmother? There are exceptions to the rule but you chose not to. You may want to rethink selling such to the elderly especially when you are false advertising. You gave me the Consumer Affairs to tell you what I thought and now you know.

I have used Nutrisystem on and off for several years and I have typically had a good experience. In December, I decided to go on the plan again with an offer of 1 month free. Typically, I am charged about $270 per month if you sign up for at least 2 months. However, with this order I was charged a total of $476 (for the two months which is supposed to include 1 free month) - and another $9.99 for "packaging" of the second month. So I really only saved a few dollars (a little over $40) - one month was not free.
Further, a number of items were not included in the order which should have been (start-up kit, multiple snack items). I have contacted them 4 times about the errors on the order even speaking to a supervisor. They refused to take the second order back - because although the second order just arrived yesterday I placed the original order in December and it is beyond their 14 day guarantee. I was also advised that the frozen items are not returnable - which is not in their flyer and I was not advised of this when I ordered over the phone. The only compensation I got was a $30 credit, and a free box of shakes. Thus, I have cancelled any future orders and I will have to dispute the charges with my credit card company and block them from card.

I was disappointed. I called and explained how I had followed Nutrisystem and spent over 1,000 that is within 12 months over 500.00 recently and had not lost weight 2 lbs! I was not offered any compensation or even a few weeks of free food to continue on track so I canceled! The coach suggested that I wasn’t getting enough calories.

If you are consistently missing any meals or the grocery additions your calories each day will be a bit low and that can stop you from losing since your body isn't getting enough fuel. The meal plan is flexible which means you can move around your meals and snacks as needed, but it is important to never skip anything.

The diet itself is great. Food is delivered on time, tastes great, and has an app to guide and challenge. For busy people with little time to plan meals and portions, it is very effective. I personally lost 78 pounds, though going back to normal eating, I have put some weight back. My review is mainly with the customer service aspect. I experienced poor customer service in regards to cancelling an order. They already pulled my payment and insisted that they could not refund the money, but would apply it to the next shipment. Upon reviewing my bank statement following the next order, they charged it. It took over 2 hours to finally get the refund applied. After being accused of not telling the truth and having the same story repeated several times over to me, demonstrating a lack of honesty and competency in follow through and note taking, I have decided to cancel the auto pay and seek a better diet system.

The food contains soy which is really bad for post menopausal women. The food is full of additives and the portion size is not for people who need energy to sustain them. To be completely honest I was very disappointed with the first weeks loss. It was only 1.2lbs but after 25 days I have lost over 8.5 lbs. I feel that this is the perfect rate of weight loss. I have tried many programs before: Weight Watchers, HCG, Beverly Hills Diet and Eating only once a day. This program is by far the easiest and most realistic one to follow. My only complaint is the repetitiveness of my food choices. I live in Canada and as a result my options are much more limited. I can't have any of the frozen foods and some of them look so delicious.

I contacted the dietary department because I have a number of food allergies. I got an auto reply saying they were busier than normal but would be in touch. While I waited I went through your site and looked at all the ingredients lists and found the meals and snacks that would work around the allergies. I went to order but the issue was some of the first week kick off items they automatically included wouldn’t work for my allergies. I called and spoke with a nice gentleman who informed me I could not do the program and they had blocked me for my allergies.
I check my email and sure enough I now have a template type reply. Instead of contacting me to help me navigate around them they just blocked me from the program due to one of the allergies. They lost out on a customer because they were not willing to take the time to investigate and work with me. Not how you grow a company and I will be sure to spread my experience and their lack of inclusion.

I was doubtful at first. I found I was able to eat many times a day. The food is good because I got to choose what I wanted to eat. I found it extremely easy to follow. The lbs seemed to melt off. I have recommended this before. I felt like a walking advertisement for NutriSystem because people I worked with and friends saw the weight drop.

I was told by sales that I would get two months for the price of one. I am being billed the same amount again. This is misrepresentation of your product. I am 75 years old and I know what I was told by sales. That I would get two months for the price of one. I would get two months for what I paid for on the first month. And not be billed again. Surprise!!!! I am being billed again never saw that coming from such a big company.

Hello. I am on my second week of ns. I have experienced stomach cramping throughout with one day where it was unbearable. Customer service, especially through email was very helpful to explain that this was due to drastic increase in fiber from normal consumption or sensitivity to the sugar alcohols. I wish this was something I was made aware of and maybe a gradual increase in the fiber dishes offered. I'm also sure most don't know if they have sensitivity to those sugar alcohols.

Food was delivered late on Saturday afternoon and due to darkness was not found until Sunday morning. Frozen food was thawed and no traces of dry ice. I was very afraid to refreeze and then eat. Nutrisystem has notified me they will reship my frozen selections and I can discard the thawed food due to concerns with refreezing. Thanks so much for the great customer service.

I received the frozen part of my order 2 days later than the expected delivery date and it was not in good shape when I received it. I submitted a customer service request upon this and heard back from Nutrisystem within 24 hours and they reshipped the frozen part to me completely. It was no trouble at all. I purchased the plan when Nutrisystem was offering their bogo offer. The price I had to pay with discounts was $250. I obviously thought it was a good deal until it came time for my second shipment when it became $280. So I called to find out why I was being charged again and they said the total cost was 500 for a month and that they actually split up the payments and that is why I was being charged for the second month! Why wasn't this explained prior to my signing up? Anyways I couldn't cancel the 2nd month without paying a penalty fee, so I asked them to send me the order for the 2nd month and cancel thereafter. So my second month order comes in and guess what - there is no dinner packed at all!
I called them again to inform them of the same, and was told that the dinners would be sent out at no additional charge to me! Are you kidding me? Did they really expect me to now also pay for their mistake? (which by the way I haven't received as yet) Anyways, the worst part is the food tastes horrible and the weight loss is negligible. Maybe that was the plan - make the food so horrible that we then choose to not eat and lose weight that way! But I paid for this expensive food, so I forced it down my throat! Long story short, not only money down the drain, but nothing to show for the money spent either. I'm very disappointed - well serves me right to believe what I see on TV!

The 2 for 1 promotion is essentially a 50% auto-delivery discount. When you place a one-time order you pay the full retail value for four weeks of meals and you do not receive any additional discounts. If you enroll in an auto-delivery instead you receive a discount off of the one-time order price and we ask that you take at least two orders for this reason. With the 2 for 1 promotion your first two orders are each 50% off which means you receive two months of meals for the same price you would pay for a one-time order. I apologize if this wasn't more clear and for any confusion.
In a typical week you should expect to lose an average of 1-2 pounds as long as you are eating everything each day including your grocery additions.

When I signed up online, without any issues, I began selecting my order, paying for my orders, and receiving my orders. Sometimes, the orders would even arrive within a few days from the time they processed! However, now that I'm about 10 lbs from my goal (adjusted, as I was told the other day), I decided to cancel my Auto-shipments. Why does this require a phone call? Oh yes, it's because Counselors....aka Salespeople...are there to talk you out of cancelling. Sad, it's a great company!
Anyways, I'm saddened because the frozen part of a recent order that processed on or around 11/22, is just now shipping. The dry part was received on 11/27. The issue is that we are heading out of town for 12/05 for five days. I've tried calling the 800 number many times today, but it just seems to return me to the "listen to the prompts" area. I've tried using the chat sessions, but it doesn't progress to a Counselor. I guess I can really see that I am no longer a customer. I'm actually a returning customer, so who's to say that because I am stopping the orders now that I won't be back. I don't remember it being like this when I stopped the plan before. Again, sad....

During the Fresh Start week you follow a lower calorie meal plan that helps to jump start your weight loss since you are eating around 800-900 calories per day. You only follow this lower calorie meal plan for a week, though, and in your second week your calorie goal each day increases to 1500 each day. If you are eating everything each day, including the required grocery items, you should expect to lose an average of 1-2 pounds per week.

I started Nutrisystem back in August. Most of the food was great, but others left much to be desired. The food in the cups tastes just like the cup. I decided to stay on the protein shakes because they were my favorite. I called to cancel my subscription and was told since I got a discount I would have to pay 125.00 to get out of it. Really? I paid over 500.00 (and that was with a “discount”) to try your products and now I have to pay 125.00 to get out of the subscription. As a result, I will not recommend to friends, I will not go back on my plan, and I certainly will be advertising for nutri-system.

I am 76 years old, saved for this program, had only 20 pounds to lose, obviously there was a misunderstanding about the canceling policy, I would have gladly paid the $120 to cancel rather than the lver, $300 to save $120 cancellation fee. I really wanted this to work. I lost 5 lbs that, cost me over, $600. No, I would not recommend this program simply because of the way this was handled. In all fairness, on my part, your food is very good.

When you sign up, online or over the phone, you will have two options. A one-time order at the full retail value or you can choose the discounted rate. The second option will require you to take two shipments in order to retain the discount received as we cannot extend this to a one-time order. If you sign up for the discounted rate and discontinue prior to a second shipment, you are subject to the $125.00 fee. All that we ask to keep this discount is to accept two shipments. While we do have a 14-day Money Back Guarantee, you will have to call for that within 2 weeks from the time the package arrives at your door. Once that time passes, we would not be able to honor this option.

The food is horrible and canceling is difficult! I still have a nasty taste in my mouth 24 hours after trying the macaroni & turkey sausage entree. The rep didn't want to allow me to cancel. She tried to keep me on the program for the frozen food. I was very clear that I wanted to cancel. Had I listened to her, I would have been out of the 14 guarantee timeline and obligated to pay for 2 months of food that would have been thrown away.

Coming from a health nut like me you’d think I would stay on top of what I eat and how I train my body. But since college I found myself skyrocketing from 180 all the way to 250, nearing what the BMI Index told me to be morbidly obese. I was down, the big guy of the group and would always sit on the sidelines when my friends went out to play sports, or had to constantly take a seat while walking through a beautiful city night with my girlfriend. I was on a downward spiral, and then my own mother started ordering Nutrisystem. Originally it was for my step dad, but when I saw the results he achieved I thought why not?
Now here I am 85 pounds lighter, doing the things I love and feeling great. My confidence is up, my self esteem is up, and my overall lifestyle has drastically improved thanks to the amazing results Nutrisystem provides. From the bottom of my heart thank you, you truly gave an unhealthy guy like me a second chance at life, and I am forever grateful for that.

Any concern I have had, has been addressed efficiently and has been very helpful. The advertising campaign was misleading, otherwise very happy. I was missing items in my first week package and Nyjaee was very accommodating. My husband washed my blender bottle in dishwasher and it also is being replaced. I earned a muffin reward on the NuMi app, but too difficult to add to my next order for free. Wants $25. Not easy to use for a new member in senior years. Lol. Still trying to get thru.

For over a month, Nutrisystem sent me emails offering a 2 for 1 deal. I finally took advantage of it, making it clear I only was committed 2 months. I paid the fee in full. Next, I received an email with another full charge of $ 317. I immediately called to cancel all future shipments and also sent a registered letter. I am 70 years old and have taken part in many 2 for 1 deals. Nutrisystem is a dishonest company and should refund all my money for all the anguish this unpleasant experience has caused me.

Food is terrible. Cheaply made, and very unappealing. Frozen chicken sandwich for lunch was the size of a sausage biscuit from Dairy Queen. Expensive for the quality you get. Better off going to hello fresh or something of that nature. Can you lose weight on this stuff. Heck yes you can, most of the food I tried went into the trash can after a few bites. Really don't let them reel you in first month was cheap, tried to cancel after the first month, they said you commit for 2 months or forfeit to full price for the first month. My goodness 691.00 a month for 100.00 worth of crap food. Skip these folks people. Better off going to the frozen food section of Walmart and buy Atkins or Healthy Choice. These my honest opinions. Very dis-satisfied.

Despite never signing up any emailing list by Nutrisystem they continually send me spam although I’ve continually unsubscribed. They clearly use the internet and details of potentially customers and sell off that information to companies that send out spam and dangerous viruses and/or security threats. Thank you, the delivery of purchased Core Plan as a gift for my sister arrived very quickly at her home at approx. 5:00 pm on 11/5/19 in Ewa Beach, HI 96706. The e-materials I requested that day helped me review the plan before discussing & opening the box with my sister. Our dissatisfaction is that the 14-day money back guarantee that comes with the plan started the same day as the delivery. Yet my sister had not yet started Day 1 of Week One. Certainly it’s not fair to start Day 1 without breakfast and lunch. My sister also could not start for dinner because she needed to read the materials. She lost a whole day!
We think it’s wrong to include the delivery date in the 14-day try it period, especially for residents in Hawaii. I didn’t know at ordering. We are a far distance from the continental USA which should be taken into consideration. This reason can also apply to other deliveries I’m sure! Are you able to consider and extend my sister another day? I was told she has until November 19 at 10 PM Eastern standard time to cancel, if unsatisfied. Will you give her until November 20 at 10 PM Eastern standard time instead? This policy left as is lowers the confidence at the start we have in your product/company. Really, this consideration should apply to everyone who purchases a meal plan with Nutrisystem. My family can only hope that the product is a good one. I hope I did not make a poor decision in making the order and gift. Awaiting your response. Ms **.

I found a foreign object in my frozen dinner. I took a picture and forwarded to customer service. I'm willing to send the object to the company but I am not happy with the offer of resolution. This is an egregious breach of trust in the quality of your food. I should be offered more in resolution than what has been given.

Nutrisystem works so well. Just follow the plan. I was on auto delivery for 10 months and now eat certain NS foods which I really like. My eating habits have really changed, and I reached goal and 10 pounds more. I still weigh every two weeks, to keep myself on track. I would highly recommend NS, which works great if you follow the plan. The counselors were helpful. Hope I can maintain, but can always revert to my disciplined lifestyle when necessary. Thanks.

I am completely dissatisfied with the process for cancelling my Nutrisystem program. I ordered the program without having to talk with someone. I should be able to cancel the program the same way. The program did work when I stayed with it and I may try it again. However, if I continue to have problems cancelling this program there will be no possibility of that occurring.

They use the bait and switch on their plans. They tell you 2 months for the price of one but double the monthly cost. Their plans generally run from 240 to 340 per month. When you get 2 for one they simply charge you almost 700 per month but split up the payments into 2 months. YOU ARE NOT SAVING ONE DIME!

Found a object in my Santa Fe melt. Never got an email back. I sent all the information, a picture of what I found in my food and I have not gotten a reply. I think it bite a bug or some other small animal in my melt. It was very disgusting. I have been asked to submit the same information about 4 times. Each time I sent the information.

I lost a lot of weight on the plan, over 60 lbs., but once my wife quit, I was kind of forced to quit. If there were a couples plan, that may motivate "teams" to work with each other. The food is good, but limited. They could benefit from more special food options. After a couple of months, I loved some food and then found other to be "Blah", and didn't come out with some limited time specials.

Update: Nutrisystem has cordially refunded the cancellation penalty. I couldn’t tolerate some of the meals but I’m very sensitive in that regard. I have lost 8.6# in two weeks, and in that sense it works. Good luck.

I’m on day 9. Lost 7#. Plan is calorie restriction. If you follow it exactly you will lose weight. Food is terrible. Lots of xanthan gum and added dietary fiber, perhaps psyllium powder. I think it works by adding an “r” to change fat to fart. You maybe shouldn’t go out in public for a while. One thing I never said was “Man, I wish I could have another serving of that.” Being a bad consumer, I found I had to pay $125 to cancel the next month. You will pay pretty big for trying Nutrisystem. I did however learn that I can force myself to live on 1000 calories. Using an app makes calorie counting much easier than I expected, but still requires an investment of time. I would recommend getting an app for your phone that you can use to log calories, food, and track weight. I can not recommend Nutrisystem due to the horrible collection of highly processed “food” they sell you. There are also some negatives, but...

I have ordered Nutrisystem numerous times and I have been successful losing weight most of the time. Recently, I received my notice of auto ship; however, the price had gone up approximately $100 for the same products that I originally agreed. When I questioned the customer service representative, I was told that they could remove part of my agreement. The representative angered me for her suggestions, so I canceled my auto shipment. She said my actions in canceling my order would result in an additional charge of $120 to my credit card on file. I’ll never use Nutrisystem again nor will I recommend to anyone else.

When you enroll in an auto-delivery program you receive a discount off of the one-time order price. Since you receive a discount we ask that you accept at least two orders. If you cancel after the 14 day Money Back Guarantee period has ended and prior to receiving a second order there is a standard fee, which is $125, to make up for the initial discount received. Once you accept a second order there is no fee if you decide to cancel your program.
Any A La Carte items added to your first order will remain on your future orders until you remove them. I apologize if you had extra items on your first order that you were unaware would carry over to your second order.

We understand that this can be stressful and nerve-racking when trying to make healthy meals on your own. I have had a great overall experience with Nutrisystem. I am doing two months of the Men's Uniquely Yours Plan for now and I am starting my second month. I lost 10 pounds total in the first month and kept it off. I will disclose that I am only needing to lose around 25/30 pounds to get to my normal body weight but unfortunately I have a thyroid issue which makes it difficult for me to lose weight and I gain weight very quickly.
The customer service has been great with resolving any issues. A lot of people seem to be confused about the plans, if you sign up with an offer you need to do two months so look at what the cost is going to be for the first and second month before you sign up. But the thing is that it is very easy to cancel after the two months and then just sign up again (maybe with an even better offer). So it's pretty flexible in that respect. The food is pretty good for diet food, the frozen items are better than the dried. I really like that they have a good amount of high protein items so you don't lose muscle while dieting. So I have no complaints and glad I lost the 10 pounds in my first month. If I can update this after my second month I will.

I was a returning customer earlier this year. I was excited to get back on Nutrisystem but unfortunately I had a financial emergency and had to cancel before my 2nd month shipped. The issue I had was when I called to cancel the guy I spoke with asked me why I was canceling. I didn't go into great detail but I did express that I was currently having financial issues and just couldn't afford to stay on the program. I already knew I would take a $125 hit to cancel but instead of being an understanding human being this man proceeds to try to get me to spend $200 for one more shipment of food.
This was NOT ok! I did not appreciate someone trying to pressure me into spending more money after I just broke down and explained my financial situation. Sometimes others need to be understanding and not always out to make a buck. This whole situation put this program in a bad light for me, I definitely would've returned but now I don't care to. Please change how you handle these sensitive situation with your customers.

I usually don't give reviews but I feel frustrated. Before ordering consider you will need to buy 2 full months if not they will charge you a $150 cancellation fee. Doesn't matter your situation, you need to buy the 2 months of $300 each. I only lost weight the first week. "Fresh Start Week" I lost 6 lbs (my goal was at least 14 lbs) and after that I lost no weight at all. Just kept my weight so I did not achieved my goal.
Disappointed on the product but more specifically in the customer service, since my first order was made with the help of a representative and talked with that person for a long time and the cancellation fee was never mentioned. Make sure you are willing to pay 600 dlls for two months of diet (weekdays, you still need to buy your own food on the weekends), because you cannot go back no matter if you are dissappointed. JUST AWFUL EXPERIENCE FOR ME!! UGH!

Received an email stating that a 2nd shipment was about to be sent. When I contacted NS; the woman said it was the booklet that was being sent, not the next food order, but there was nothing in the mail that indicated that. She said the booklets are not longer being sent, and that recording of food can be done on NuMi. I told her that not everyone was as young as she. She quickly replied not to get personal. I told her that I had paid her a compliment, and she could take it or not. I also told her that NS needs to change its user unfriendly automated phone system and the reasons why. She said that wasn't going to happen because it had just recently been changed. Any other questions. Nope. I thought she was rude. Need better training for those who answer the phones.

I phoned on Oct. 20, 2019 to NutriSystem asking for the booklet which I could use to keep track of the food I eat each day - it was missing from my order. She said she would send one out in 1-10 business days. I start my first week diet on 21; thus hope it arrives on time. 2nd. I asked about NuMi; she said it's only available on my phone with the App; I told her it was available on computer when I was on the diet before. Later I called into to NuMi, and Corry said it is available on the computer, and he walked me through it. What a nice guy. Appreciated his friendliness and competence. Thanks. I don't know if the rating is for the lady with whom I first talked, or with the young gentleman, I talked with later. For the female a 3; for the male a 5.

High salt and blood pressure problems do not mix. I believe I was misled when I signed up for the 2 months for the price of 1 month with a money back guarantee. When I initially called to cancel because of the reasons stated above, your rep was quite rude and said I was being billed monthly at the rate of $300 plus. None of this makes sense to me. Why did I pay all of this money when I was not able to eat your food. I do still have some of the NOT Frozen food in my pantry...but have been considering just dumping it. When I called to report that my ankles had swollen considerably and said I needed to cancel, the rep was not at all helpful.

As I stated above, I only wanted to loose 8lbs. After 3 weeks I'm down 1lb which I could have easily done on my own. The counselor said that was because I was already at a healthy weight. Well, why didn't they tell me that before they took my money? The food in my opinion is not really tasty, too many high calorie bars. I'm very disappointed, I feel by now I should have easily reached my goal.

I am highly upset with Nutrisystem. I thought Nutrisystem gave a schedule and detail plan of what and when to eat. I discovered Nutrisystem is like a puzzle that you have to put together. Your website displays a picture showing a detailed plan with meals and times. That is the only reason I went with your program. Because I needed that type of discipline.I am 65 years old on a fixed income, paid you $324 to be told now I need to go to the grocery store and purchase additional items. With what money?

Customers on our plan add groceries of their own each day using our portion guidelines in hopes that this will help them make lifestyle changes. We wanted to provide them with tools to use for when they are ready to maintain and do things on their own and the flexibility to have some of the things they may miss if we were to provide all of the meals. I ordered during the claim of two months for the price of one. When I saw the first order was 317 I continued as I assumed I would get the next order for free. When I contacted your customer service I was told that I was receiving 50 percent off already. This implied that the regular price was 634. Nowhere did I find this to be an accurate price and instead found my “50%” off price to be accurate full price for a month. This to me is the most blatant form of false advertising and makes me question your company. I will not be continuing.

I called the other day because I was having issues navigating the website (not the friendliest site). The woman helped me reset my program but was very unhelpful and short with me regarding my mobile app issues and not being able to download or print from my iPad. She referred me to my nearest Apple store. She indicated there was no one who could help me. Is that true?

An email sent out 4 days ago to inquiring a "2-for-1 promotion" right on your company website and see if it's applicable to the order placed. Question is simple and order number and phone number were also provided but I waited for 4 days to receive an email to ask me to call directly at 1-800-585-5483. Whoever had the time to send me this can simply call me. The service sucks!

I was so thrilled by talking to a counselor and placing a crafted plan for my food allergies. Box came with no starter pack and not sure if I have done things correctly. I waited for missing shakes to start a week and a half. Counselor #2 never sent me detailed email promised about running plan without fresh start (FS) box. I use Numi app but it seems set on FS plan. Very disappointed. Hard enough being on night shift and having to figure it out or call counselor and no follow up. Everything is advertisement that is sent.

I lost 30 pounds in six months, then plateaued out for three months of losing nothing. Switching to a different diet for the next 30 pounds. I thought the food selection was great and the meals were tasty, but the end result not satisfactory.

I miss not having a consistent coach. Five years ago I successfully lost 110 pounds in 13 months. The reason I believe that I was so successful was that I had a dedicated coach with whom I spoke every week. My coach knew immediately what I did well, what I struggled with, etc. I find it difficult to have to talk to whomever answers the phone. Because of this, I never know who I'm going to talk with and if I'm getting conflicting advice. I would certainly prefer having a dedicated coach who knows me.
I found out today that I needed information that is not in the booklet. I haven't given up, but I REALLY miss having a dedicated coach who knows me. I don't really like talking with whomever answers the phone. Consequently, I've only lost four pounds in 7 weeks. I don't have the time or money to move at this snail's pace. I need consistent help from someone who actually knows me and your program. This is at least the 3rd conversation I've had with your counselors. Also, after today's conversation, I FINALLY got info that is NOT in your Daily Tracker booklet. If I don't start losing two pounds a week in the coming month, I'm sorry to say I'll be done with Nutrisystem.

Overall your seven day menu is great. However, in my case I will have to substitute all fat free items. I don't like them, ok! Some items I can't get. I thought I was to take the Nutri-system Fresh Start Shake 3 time or more a week; not 1 x a week.

I have been on Nutrisystem for a couple years. Some months I was better about watching my intake and I did lose weight. The food is convenient and some of it is good. However, if you are vegetarian or, like me, do not eat beef or pork, the available options are fewer. Also, favorite items are often discontinued which leaves one scrambling to find other items to fill the gaps. Lastly, I have had two instances where there were issues with the food itself. Once where the food tasted like a chemical--in all fairness it was a limited number of them. This instance Nutrisystem was very responsive and replaced the items.
However, the latest (Monday), I found wood pieces in my food. I sent an email to Nutrisystem with a photo and also indicated I still had the remaining food. So far other than the robo-response to my email, there has not been any contact from Nutrisystem (it is Friday). This was my last straw as I am trying to keep a healthy weight in a healthy manner and I should not be worried about what is hiding out in the food. At the very least, Nutrisystem should have been interested in the information so they could prevent this from happening to another customer. I ended up calling in and I let the rep know what had happened. He was very friendly but more interested in selling me a more inclusive plan rather than get the information on the tainted food. I cancelled my auto order.

I emailed your customer service department TWICE and didn't get anything but an auto-reply until today - six days later. That email told me they saw that my issue was dealt with when I called out of frustration. Your response time is terrible. If it's always going to be that bad, I'd suggest you just eliminate it and direct everyone to call.

I wasn't sure if I was supposed to add a PF & SC to the pre-packaged snacks and meals on non-Flex days. The customer service rep was very helpful telling me how to do it and that the shakes are in place of a pre-packaged snack.

I hope my shipment is sent early. I am anxious to get it living in Florida if Fedex over the weekend. One time it arrived late and was thawed out. Eeeek! I have been happy with the food and the results. 68 lbs so far. 25 to go. I am 73 and I take food and activity seriously.

Have been off and on member of Nutrisystem for years. Due to finances I called to stop my account about 3-4 months ago, and thought nothing of it since then. Came home from work about a week ago, and frozen food delivery from Nutrisystem waiting outside my apartment door. Called “customer service” at Nutrisystem and advised what was going on.
Was told when I called to cancel the plan, I agreed to a 3 month hold on my account instead of cancelling it. I may have, I don’t remember what I said several months ago. Also that they sent an email about the new delivery (2 days before the delivery; I finally found it). Told frozen food not returnable, but would cancel the dry food and my plan. Asked when the money would be refunded. Told an email would go to manager to investigate and let me know. Now, a week later no refund, no call from management. I only received half of my “order,” and none of my money back. Stay away from Nutrisystem.

Prior to my second order with Nutrisystem I wanted to discuss progress and possible changes with counselor. Phoned into their call center and was unable after 15 minutes of phone call merry-go-round. Without speaking to a live person I gave up. Emailed their company and still no response. I will be canceling with Nutrisystem and scheduling with Jenny Craig who when contacted I had immediate response. DO NOT GO WITH NUTRISYSTEM.

Whether on the phone or though email, they have been so nice and warm and encouraging and positive, it really, along with the weight loss, has made me recommend Nutrisystem to everyone. I have been a customer for several years. I have always found the quality of the meals to be excellent. Apart from the fact that I have indeed lost and maintained an impressive amount of weight, I think that there are several other aspects to the Nutrisystem Plan that deserve to be mentioned. The Plan has taught me about portion control, how to balance the type of nutrition that is healthy and will allow you to lose weight, and maintain your loss. I learned about the different types of carbohydrates and the importance of including the correct amount of protein to keep your meals balanced and healthy. The amount of food allowed is more than adequate; I never felt hungry or deprived of any food that I enjoyed. I never thought of Nutrisystem as a "diet," but rather as the path to a new lifetime way of eating to remain healthy.
I believe that the knowledge I take with me as I transition back to preparing my own meals, will keep me on the healthy eating track I have learned and have chosen to follow since experiencing the Nutrisystem Plan. I do, without hesitation, highly recommend Nutrisystem to anyone who has tried and failed "every type of diet out there." My best regards to Nutrisystem and to all of their future Plan participants. :)

I would like to suggest a bit more detail instruction about how to use Nutrisystem, especially the diabetic one. I contacted nutrisystem by email, very slow to respond, suggest u get more folks to answer email. However, they sent me some really good meal suggestion & how to use shakes & flex, that cleared up my question. I read info sent via email about the program. It talked about week ones food, well i searched for week one never found it. Finally contacted nutrisystem via chat & found that the diabetic plan did not get that. Now that would have been nice to have been know at the time of purchase or in the packaging info. (2) What is the deal w the chocolate shake, that is nasty, bitter after taste. (3) The pasta fajola too spicy. (4) Is there a way to make a lighter pasty for the apple pie, it was good but crust thick. (5) Pretzel choc snack bar not good.

Last frozen order arrived late and thawed. While, I have received confirmation of what would be resent, it still has not been sent. The order before that, I was sent someone else’s order. While my correct was eventually sent, we had to get it to a Fed Ex location to be returned. On the last perishable order, two of the cartons were broken and are supposedly being replaced. While my account shows those sent, when you click on the tracking number it says none is available. It seems that service is on the decline. As I stated in my email and chat, I am disappointed with the service.

My friend who is on this program has gotten more info than I have regarding this. For instance I didn't think of asking this morning when I called as to what a Power Fuel item was. They did tell me my shakes are a power fuel. Is one of the Nutrisystem choices a power fuel or is that my choice? I really did not have anyone explain all of this to me. I think my friend was given a list of smart carbs and power fuels. Can you help me with this? Every time I have had to call I have been treated very well and very courteously. I have had to squeeze in a lot of meals out due to a heavy social schedule of which we had tickets for. I probably should have waited til October but here I am. Thanks for your assistance.

Earlier this week I was notified that my frozen order and Ready to Eat Snack order would be delivered on 9/19. I received my frozen order on 9/19, however, my Ready to Eat Snack order did not arrive. I was tracking my Ready to Eat order through your link to Fed Ex which said it was in transit. On 9/18 I received an emailI that my order had been "rescheduled" for delivery on 9/25. I’m not sure why it was en route, and then suddenly the original order was no longer in tracking and a new order is being processed. So, here I am with no Ready to Eat Snacks, except for the frozen snacks I received today. I look forward to the dry snacks with a cup of tea in the evening. It's disappointing that I will need to do more flex snacks rather than stick to diet snacks. I don't understand what happened to my first Ready to Eat Snacks order. If delivery issues are going to continue, I'll need to reconsider this diet plan.

I am so excited that I am using your eating plan. I have been on a 1000 calorie diet by Cruise control for 1 year I have hit a plateau. Since I started your eating plan I have lost 10 lbs in first week. Your food taste very good and customer support is awesome.

Information provided was limited and not very helpful. Emailed me the information guide that was missing from my package and didn’t feel like addressing some of my concerns. Having never dieted before I would have preferred some information in my conversation instead of downloading a large number of pages off my printer because it was missing from my order. So far this is the first person that was not very helpful.

Last month I purchased an order for the month supply, which was apparently an obligation to purchase two full month supplies. I didn't realize that was the case, but it would have been fine had the program actually worked for me. I was looking to get stricter on my portion control, which this program was meant to help with. The frozen food is about as good of quality as the microwave dinners you buy at the grocery store for $1, which I have never been able to eat. On day two something in the food did not agree with my stomach and I was doubled over in pain. I figured it was just something in that specific meal, so I tried again the next day with not as severe, but similar results. I decided to try taking it slowly and working on figuring out what I could and couldn't eat.
Long story short, I still have probably 50% of the food still sitting in my freezer/pantry that I am going to end up having to throw away. I got an email asking for me to 'manage my order,' which wasn't supposed to be placed as far as I knew, so I logged in and called because apparently was about to spend another $300-500 on food that I'm not ABLE to eat. I can't believe this experience. Now I've been charged an additional $125 to 'cancel' an order I did not want to place in the first place. This is ridiculous and I received nothing but 'there is nothing we can do,' from support.

I like the idea of prepared foods ready to heat and eat. While adhering to their program the weight comes off and you're pleased with the results. Once you've attained your goal weight, as I did. I even was featured in a newspaper ad. You're on your own to make both food decisions and portion control. The system is great however following through with the client is critical. Unfortunately, I gained all the weight back, plus more. I finally did it the old way, calorie counting, carb awareness, and the dreaded evil, THE SCALE.

I was on Nutrisystem a few years ago and the 28 day plan provided 28 days of meals. I just rejoined, paying about the same price for the Uniquely Yours plan and now come to learn that the 28 day plan now only provides 20 days of food. This is not fair. First of all, the extra expense to buy ingredients for 32 flex meals a month will make this unaffordable for me for me for any length of time. And secondly, I chose Nutrisystem because I have no interest in cooking or planning flex meals. I am so upset, this type of advertising should be illegal!
