Shoppers have right through Christmas Eve to check everyone off their lists this year

Target has been marking down merchandise for the holidays for over a month now, but it still isn’t too late to get gifts.

Though sales for Black Friday and Cyber Monday have come and gone, the retailer maintains that the deals aren’t over. It has announced that not only will it have extended store hours on Christmas Eve, but there will be exclusive deals and sales on gift ideas right through Christmas Eve.

“Making last-minute holiday shopping easy and affordable for our guests is a top priority,” said Mark Schindele, executive vice president and chief stores officer at Target.

“We’re doing that in so many ways, including offering new, deep deals, extended holiday hours, and our convenient same-day services. Our stores are stocked and ready, and we’re proud to have the best team in retail standing by to make the last few shopping days joyful and seamless for our guests.”

How to shop in the final days of the holidays

When it comes time to actually shop for the holidays, last-minute deals aren’t the only thing Target is rolling out for customers. On top of that, there are more ways than ever to secure your gifts, decorations, and holiday meal favorites.

Target’s usual ordering methods will be up and running throughout the holiday season – in-store pickup and curbside pickup, both of which are free of charge, as well as same-day delivery with Shipt, which requires a paid membership.

Shoppers can place in-store or curbside pickup orders until 6:00 p.m. local time on Christmas Eve, December 24. Similarly, Shipt will be accepting same-day delivery orders for members until 4:00 p.m. local time on Christmas Eve.

For those who prefer to shop in-store this holiday season, there will be plenty of opportunities to do so – especially in the days leading up to Christmas. On December 23, most stores will be opening at 7:00 a.m. local time and staying open until midnight. Then, stores reopen on Christmas Eve at 7:00 a.m., operating normally through 8:00 p.m.
