I would strongly caution anyone considering this moving company. Our initial estimate increased dramatically after inventory review, and the communication throughout the process was inconsistent and stressful. After delivery, we documented multiple damaged items and submitted the requested BOL, inventory list, and photos as part of the claims process. Despite providing the documentation, we were repeatedly asked to resubmit the same materials. The overall experience involved unexpected pricing changes, damage to household goods, and a frustrating claims process. I recommend thoroughly reviewing your contract, understanding valuation coverage, and documenting everything in writing before committing to this company.

The bad reviews are true. Below there is a summary of the complaints about Movesafe relocation. They are very fast only for getting your money. After that everything is bad. Their bait tactics are extreme and total lack of ethics. The first sales rep is very nice and provides a very cheap quote, but after you do the initial payment they start to increase several times. One rep call you to do confirm the initial inventory and tells you “Oh that was not in the initial list, I have to charge more”. Then 2 days before picking up they call you again and go through the inventory and again “Oh that was not in the list, I have to charge more”. Then the guys that are picking your stuff arrives and guess what? Exactly! “That was not in the list” and yes, they charge you more. From an initial quote of around 2K now is more than 5K!!!!
I asked several times when they do delivered and they told in 2-3 days. Even the person doing the picking up confirms that. I told him, "Can you delivered faster?" And he says, "No, but 3 days is the most you will have it." Now they are telling me that they will use like a week to evaluate when they can deliver and they have up to 30 days to deliver. They never tells you that in advance even if you ask. I just hope that the mishandling and hostage tactics are not true, but now I expect the worst

Hidden Fees: Reported extra charges include fees for "tape and tarps," "long carries," and unloading items from a larger truck into a smaller one due to site access.
2. Delivery and Handling Issues. Reviews often highlight poor accountability once items are in the hands of third-party carriers. Damaged/Missing Goods: Customers have reported smashed boxes, broken furniture (e.g., snapped table legs, chipped dressers), and missing items. Lengthy Delays: While sales reps may promise delivery within days, some customers waited over 30 days to receive their belongings. "Hostage" Tactics: Some reviewers claim they were forced to pay the increased balance in cash or money order before the movers would even open the truck doors to unload.
We’re very concerned to read your review and would like to clarify a few important points.
All estimates are based strictly on the inventory provided at the time of booking. When additional items are added or when the total volume exceeds the original list, the price adjusts accordingly. This is why we conduct verification calls prior to pickup — to help prevent surprises on moving day.
Regarding delivery, interstate moves legally allow up to 30 business days for delivery, as stated in the signed agreement. While many shipments arrive much sooner, scheduling depends on route logistics and carrier availability. We do not guarantee 2–3 day delivery for standard long-distance moves unless expedited service is arranged.
We also want to be clear that payment prior to unloading is an industry standard — not a hostage tactic.

On our moving date, the movers came on time. There was a bit of a language barrier, but the process went smoothly. The movers were so nice, efficient, and handled everything with care. They are far better than the other movers. I am so happy that I chose them for my move. I will definitely hire them again.

They work very efficiently and packaged items with care. I was moving from a third-story apartment to the second story in a city fifteen minutes away. I had one issue but contacted them, and it was fixed right away. They are far better than the other movers. I highly recommend them!

After trying to get in touch with this company for the absolute nightmare of an experience, they are avoiding me. Broken items, lost items, broken boxes during the move, overcharged twice! Please do not spend your money on these people! It’s not worth the aggravation and stress! I hope they reach out before my next steps because this is insane!

DO NOT USE THS COMPANY. They are liars and rip offs. We lived in Oklahoma and had to move back home to the Kansas City; KS area my husband had lost his job. We called to get a quote from this company. The quote was for $5900.00 give or take. We went through the house to give them what we had to move. I ask for them to pack 2 closets and my kitchen. I told them about how many boxes it would take to pack 2 closets and my kitchen. The second quote came back at over $7000.00. We told them we only had $6000.00 to move and they had already got 1/3 of the money as a down payment. We had to agree because of the nonrefundable down payment. On moving day, they showed up in a 32-foot U-Haul truck, I could have done that.
Needless to say, we were very disappointed. They start wrapping our furniture and get it on the driveway. Then comes the news all of our stuff is not going to fit on the truck we need another truck. So, we pay $1600.00 cash to get additional truck. Then they tell us they are not packing the kitchen or closets. The finally agree to pack the kitchen and 1 closet because I packed the other closet. They get the stuff on the trucks, and we pay another 1/3 of the quote. They didn't pack my entire kitchen, they left boxes in my garage, 1 guy pooped in my bathroom didn't flush the toilet and clogged the toilet had to take care of that. They broke several items of ours. The movers were not professional; they spoke Russian and smelled.
After they unloaded the trucks, we paid the final payment in cash per our agreement. They left the packing trash in our garage we had to deal with that. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS COMPANY. PLEASE USE LOCAL PEOPLE THAT COME OUT TO YOUR HOUSE AND TAKE INVENTORY. BE SURE TO READ THE SMALL PRINT. My husband is a veteran, and this company was supposed to help vets. NOT TRUE AT ALL.

This company is as dishonest as they come. They quote you an amount, take your deposit and then continue to upcharge you during the entire process. When they picked up our items, they increase the overall cost by almost $3000. Then once they delivered they increased the overall amount to another $900. It almost feels as if they quote you a low amount and then hold your items hostage until you agree to pay the increased amount.

Don't use them. They'll scam you out of a ton of money like they did to us. I don't think moving from California to Nevada from mobile home to mobile home with no beds and just furniture would cost $6,000. Plus the movers left scrap in our yard didn't reassemble stuff they took apart. Ripped us off on prep that they didn't do. A decent mover will come to your house and give you an accurate estimate. These people are not accurate with anything, only after ripping you off.

There was a large cabinet that I thought might be a problem. Instead of forcing it through the hallway, they stopped, looked at the space, and adjusted how they carried it. That small pause probably saved the piece from damage. At the new place, they didn’t unload everything at once. They brought items room by room and asked when something wasn’t clear. That helped a lot when I started unpacking.

Quick and to the point...This is a moving BROKER, NOT A MOVING COMPANY. Your cherished items will be bounced from truck to truck by various moving companies that have you pay them under one name but operate under another name. You will most likely get a low quote in the beginning followed by a call to go over your list of items which will be missing items you had listed or the first quote stated a smaller size item..You will then be sold more space to cover that. You will be called by an insurance company and sold insurance to cover your items...When you have a claim and look up "Move Sheild" it's very difficult to locate and no real customer service number. When the movers come they will upsale again stating they must box items and you still didn't buy enough space. My original quote doubled.
My items did arrive and early...But they managed to damage my grandmother's glass pitcher and a glass..Irreplaceable. During the move I called customer service to complain about the misrepresentation of the quote and my items being bounced from one truck to another which I had asked about prior to signing contract. Was essentially hung up on by the original person. Abruptly handed off the customer service by a not helpful person that hung up on me.

I used MoveSafe for a long-distance move and wanted to leave an honest review because moving state to state is stressful and it’s hard to know who to trust.
