The mover arrived, he said more space was necessary 1800 cu ft vs 1404. But after all items were on the truck and the doors shut mover said it was 2100 cu ft. All my items were on the truck so the mover said he could unpack the truck or I could address the inaccuracies with the company after the fact. They charged an additional $100 to drop off 3 items 30 minutes away from my home, which I was expecting. The trucker who moved my items did not provide Move Safe Relocation with an inventory list. This felt to me like a total scam, despite the video walk through and an initial inventory list my move cost almost doubled!

From the beginning they underestimated my belongings despite my offer to provide Move Safe with dimensions of all my furniture which they refused. Post move, I repeatedly contacted multiple members of their staff. They were rude & stated they would refund me $196 but I had to sign a nondisclosure saying I would not disparage the company in anyway. I did not agree to this & have not received any reimbursement. They stated to me they had to go with the cubic feet stated by the mover and that despite them only having the movers word vs mine, that I was wrong. Again, no inventory list was provided for proof of what they moved.

How is this company providing legitimate service when the mover was unable to provide a document from the mover with my inventory? The company reached out after I contacted the Better Business Bureau saying they were sorry I was unhappy with the service, and that moving is a stressful time, but they didn't have the documentation/inventory list and they had to go with what the mover stated. I would NEVER recommend this company.

They picked up my stuff ok, but the independent contractor tried to charge me double. Movesafe counted by item (ie 1 double bed, 1 mattress). Contractor said no, count is by PIECE (so the bed was 16 pieces, 1 headboard, 1 baseboard, 2 side panels, 1 middle 2x4 support, etc). Was able to talk with supervisor to get this resolved (be prepared for stress and argument). Then neither I nor MoveSafe could ever find out anything about where the furniture was or when it would be delivered. It arrived late, and with virtually no notice. We were given dates it was supposed to arrive so we cleared the day, but then they didn’t show up.

Once they did arrive, 1/3 or the items were damaged or just lost. The single guy who they again subcontracted wouldn’t unload until he was paid in full, and then he just unloaded saying he’d be leaving in 30 minutes so figure out if you want him to do anything to help you place stuff. Movesave supervisor Gia clearly stated they have no responsibility, no refund for poor service, they are just a broker, there is no help. The carrier itself offers 60 cents compensation per pound, so as they told me, a $1000 piece that weighs 10 pounds, they give you $6 dollars. If you’ve worried about moving companies this one has got to be one or the worst.
