I was charged for a full monthly subscription but I never signed up for that. Your website said it was $1 for a one time report. Then 2 days later you charge me $36 for a monthly subscription. Your chat agent resolved it quickly and issued a refund. Your website does nothing more than give a VIN, year and model. This is information that I could acquire just by walking up to a vehicle and looking at it. There is no valuable information provided.

I wanted a description/report of a recall on my vehicle. I went to vehicle history site that was printed on my registration renewal. I paid $1 for the info with my debit card. While clicking thru the pages to the last, it asked for $7 for more info/reports. I clicked "No" and was done. Hours later I was charged $36 listed in my bank app as "Public Records.US". I contacted customer service via chat. The agent was on in less than 30 seconds. My complaint was short. The agent's explanation was very clear as to why it happened. I explained that I misread or inadvertently opted for an account. The agent understood and issued a refund for $36. This process took less than 3 minutes. Incredible customer service. Thank you.

Alexander was very helpful. I wish the public record report had the name of the vehicle owner. I was using the information to find the person who hit my car but all it said was Lease. I wanted the leasing company name and or the person leasing the car and the report did not include that so the report was not helpful to me. Alexander assisted me with stopping any future charges. The person in chat was helpful. But the website seems very scammy. No public record with your personal information should cost $35. With random charges for no reason.
