My husband and I are both in wheelchairs and he was constantly falling so I thought a medical alert system is a necessity for us. I happened to see MobileHelp advertised on TV and it sounded fine. I prefer the device around my neck, while my husband wears it on his wrist. When I have it on my wrist, I keep triggering the bracelet in error. I use my wrist a lot so I bumped it a lot and set it off. I took it off and got the necklace instead. I find it great. It's got the GPS with it and that was another reason that I took it. We can put the GPS in my purse when we leave the apartment, and not everybody has that. We've had a couple of medical emergencies and we got immediate help. It's a great product and we had a very good experience.

My son got me a medical alert system with MobileHelp. I have the pendant but every time I moved it went off. So most of the time, I wear the wristband and I hardly notice I have it on. We called in to check the device out and make sure it's working good, and the reps were all very nice. I've been satisfied with it, so far though I haven't had to use it. Hopefully, I won’t have to but I know it’s there if I do need it.

My family thought I should have a medical alert system and they went with MobileHelp. I got tired of having the device around my neck, but I don't even notice it on my wrist, so it's better there. Although I haven't had to use it, I'm happy and content, and I would recommend them.

My father is 91 years old so we thought getting a medical alert system for him would be a smart thing to do. My sister purchased MobileHelp and brought it here to the house. My father wears it on his wrist. With MobileHelp, he has some kind of a response system to help him if he needs it when he's alone.

My children advised me that they felt better if I had a medical alert system as I was living alone. I got MobileHelp and I was impressed that it had a part of their system that I could take with me when I go or drive away from home. I usually wear the bracelet and it's fine. Also, the representatives at MobileHelp are always helpful and I usually speak to them when I do my testing which they advise me to do once a month. One time, I triggered the help unit without knowing it so I had paramedics come to my door but we straightened that out. They didn't embarrass or blame me for doing anything so it was a good experience.

I'm 70 years old and I live alone in a big house. My wife is gone and I have no family and kids. I'm a widower and living out on a farm, out of town. I was up with my horses and two of the young ones were running, knocked me down pretty badly and rolled me over. I could barely get up but luckily I could roll over and reach the fence that I could pull up on, get up and slowly come back to the house. I'm afraid of having an accident and falling. I talked to my kind of adopted son who bought his elderly mother one of these medical alert systems and insisted on it. It made her feel more secure and I thought I need to buy that so, I did.
MobileHelp's people were very nice. I'm pretty sure they have on the safety ad in the Association for Mature American Citizens and that's a very fine organization. I purchased the system as an emotional safeguard to me and got the monitor plugged in, a little hand beeper by my bed that I can pick up and punch the button on it, a little pendant around my neck and a countertop mobile unit that sits in the kitchen. They were very helpful about it when I got it, unpacked it and hooked it up. But the pendant hanging around my neck doesn't recharge. Also, they might want to have somebody call once a month or so to ask how's my system and if I have any problems, call and tell me to push my beeper to test it and tell me how to test the little box for the console that has a reset and test on it and ran me through the system.
But in today's world particularly and certain parts of the country where the crime rate is going higher, a lot of us people, particularly older people, are carrying guns, it's a security. If you lived alone and even the young folks, if they are single and living alone, I'd want them to have one for no more than it costs. It's a peace of mind.

Our son was visiting here from out of state and he thought we needed a medical alert device. It was his idea and he chose MobileHelp. My wife has a little memory loss and wears the medical alert device around her neck and it's comfortable. She doesn't complain about it. When she accidentally hit the emergency button, MobileHelp called and the rep was nice. However, my wife thinks she doesn't need the device anymore and every couple of weeks, she boxes it up and wants to send the device back. I don't let her though. It’s just here in case we need it.

I had had a fall in my apartment in March of 2016. Fortunately, my phone was near me and was able to access it. I ended up having a couple of hospitalization surgeries and was in a nursing home for a while. When I came home in the summer, I thought it would be a good idea to have a medical alert system. I have contacted companies but MobileHelp was the one that contacted me. They sounded like a good service so I enrolled with them. The thing that was troubling to me though is that when the mobile device went off, they didn't search for me where I was but rather at my home where I wasn't. This was in December. I had on the watch instead of the pendant, plus the other piece set in order for it to work. I went to an event that evening for New York University and it was very loud and noisy. Somehow, the device went off. I did not set off the mobile device and I don't know how it got set off.
MobileHelp called my phone but I could not hear it. They then made a second call after which they called my building neighbor to have her check on me. They also sent emergency people who looked for me in the apartment and in the basement but couldn't find me. Later on, once I realized that they had called me, I called and told them that I wasn’t at home. I’m satisfied because they did send somebody and made the phone calls. The only thing that was curious to me is if the device went off when I was not home, would they have sent the EMS to my home instead of the location I was at at the time, which was not near my home.
Now, I contact them anytime that I am going away and that I won't be using the mobile device at my home so, they know I'm not here. I’m out all of the time. If I had to do that I'd be on the phone with them all day long. But if I'm leaving New York, I’m going to let them know that the system will be off. Overall, I feel better with MobileHelp. When I had my accident, I had several breaks in my leg and ankle and was in shock, it was very difficult for me to speak on the mobile phone initially. It is good to have something where you're just able to press the button and somebody is supposed to respond.

My wife was really sick and we used Life Alert a lot of times. They have a dedicated line and they always responded and called me when something happened. I stopped it because she passed away. Then I met someone else and she's sickly too. I'm on the road a lot of times, so I got MobileHelp. I figured it's better than just the one being around the house 'cause it's mobile. The model I have has two pendants. One is for around the neck and one is for the wrist, and then there's the mobile one you carry around with you when you go on the road.
Every time I tested the device, it seemed to be okay. Sometimes it was a little slow, especially the last time I tested it. The response time was about three minutes, which is too long in case of an emergency but I understand it's not a dedicated line. Nevertheless, I feel more secure knowing that she has some help if she needed it when I'm on the road. Overall, MobileHelp's service was excellent and the equipment is really good. But now I'm home and we're both retired, we figured we don’t need it. If we ever need it, I will definitely get one.

I have accidentally pushed my MobileHelp device three or four times, and I felt that they did a good job in handling it. When I was getting in my car with my arms full of stuff and I punched the button, they then called the house and sounded like they were right on top of everything. With the effort they made to get a hold of me and repeat it several times, I felt like they were doing what I was paying them for, and I'd recommend them.

I have Parkinson's and I fall down once in a while. My daughter handled choosing the MobileHelp and I'm just getting things set up. I called them for testing twice. It has changed my life in a way that I keep checking one more piece of equipment like a cellphone and making sure I have it with me when I'm out around. There was a time when I had to go to the restroom and I couldn't get out of bed. The person that was with me was in the other room downstairs and asleep, and I couldn't get him. So, I pushed the button and got the people. They sent down the local fire department and they came in. They asked me if I was all right and I told them I was. They did what I expected them to do and they were on the ball.

I had two strokes last year and my family wanted me to have a medical alert system because I live alone. I was sitting with my friend who is a doctor looking at one of those magazines for senior citizens and MobileHelp was there. And so, she went online, talked to Mobile Help's representatives and told them what she thought I needed. And so, I got two Cellular Duo medical alert devices from Mobile Help. I interchange the devices and I wear them on my wrist which is convenient. It's like an armband and a lot of people know what it is. They also put a little lock outside my door where there is a key. That was a little gift they gave me which makes me feel safe also.
I've had Mobile Help for more than a couple of months and they have been very efficient. Once in a while, they check to see if my devices are working. They answered my questions and called to give concerns. They asked me how I'm doing. When the alarm went off and I can't shut it off, they called me right away, walked me through and told me what to do. They even talked to the other people who were present and told them what's going on and how it works. I'm glad they're here and that they're responsible and fast moving.

My mother is 87 years old, has a lot of health issues, and lives alone. I want to make sure that she has someone she could call if she needed help. Before we got her MobileHelp, she had another medical alert system which she used years ago. Because it required a landline phone and my mother didn’t have one anymore, we had to choose another medical alert service that didn't require that. I read reviews on 6 other companies and also did my own research on the internet about each of them.
MobileHelp’s reps were professional. I spoke to them to get additional information before deciding to purchase. We got the Duo system and my mother uses it daily. She wears oxygen, so wearing it like a necklace interferes with the oxygen. And with that, she prefers to wear it around her wrist than around the neck. But the device turns on her arm a lot like a watch that turns on your arm when it’s loose. So she's constantly kind of messing with it. So far, everything has been fine with MobileHelp. The system provided my mother the security that when something happens, there's somebody that will come quickly. It also provides a safe environment in her home that allows her to live alone.

I do some traveling and because of my age, I needed a medical alert system. Before using MobileHelp, I used another device but it's a home service on me so they’re different services. I wanted protection on the road so I changed. MobileHelp also gives me the complete service I wanted. I don’t travel much but when I do, it gives me a better feeling of protection because I have something with me. I have my cell phone but I like that my MobileHelp has better coverage and the potential for me to reach somebody is good.
I wear the device around my neck and I wish that the one that I carry with me was smaller. The device is the size of my cellphone and if they could trim that down to something smaller to go around the neck, it would be a lot more convenient. I call in and talk to the employees at MobileHelp to have my system checked. And I’m not complaining but there’s something that can be improved. There's a little bit of time lapse between the time I signal them when I want to do the test. Some seconds go by before I get anybody and I don't know if it's the same time elapsed if I make an emergency call. It could be I'm expecting so much about the instant response but the potential's there and I'm hoping it will work as advertised. It’s a good company as far as I can determine and I'm depending on their statements about their system and I hope it works.

So far I have been pleased with the service. I have a fall pendant and one day in the shower I caused a false alarm, the response was nearly instantly. Another impressive thing is, my fall pendant was indicating that my battery was low, I didn't know it, but I received a phone call from Mobile Alert informing me that they had received a signal that it was low and they were sending me a replacement battery. Thank goodness I haven't needed emergency assistance, but it's very nice to know that if I do, Mobile Alert will be there for me.

I have only had this about a month. I have had no problems so far. Everything is working as it should. The free lockbox is worthless to me because I don't have doorknobs to attach it to. The hook part is not long enough to hang below my door handle. The company has no alternative, so as of now I have not placed a key outside my home. I have no place to put one. They were not pushy and explained thoroughly what the unit does. The unit just plugs in and can be used outside or wherever you may go. This is a plus for people who travel. It provides a safeguard for immediate care. Unfortunately my friend had passed away this May and MobileHelp accepted the unit back and prorated the remaining cost and credited my charge account. I have fallen many times and a couple of times I fell in my house and I’m not able to get up by myself. It was scary. I live in an apartment building, which makes it a little better. But having a medical alert would be better so even when I’m out and about I feel safer. I looked at different things, like the AARP Magazine ads, and MobileHelp’s features appealed to me. Then when I called them, I really liked the operators. They were nice and weren’t pushy. They had all the information and they followed up. I was impressed. I haven’t had an emergency but when we tested, it wasn’t a problem. I usually don’t wear it when my husband’s in the house. But most of the time I wear the thing around my neck. It’s comfortable and I like that I can take it in the shower. I went to California for a month to visit my daughter and I was easily able to transfer everything over so I could take my stuff with me. I’m disabled and in a power wheelchair. I had a medical alert in the past but they needed a landline, which I don’t have anymore. So, I waited ‘til there was the technology from the cell phone and I got MobileHelp. In cooler weather, I wear it around my wrist. But then when it gets warm, that gets real itchy and sweaty underneath and it’s not comfortable and then I wear the pendant. It’s fairly lightweight and the only problem is that I have to be in a tilted back position all the time and the pendant tend to try to strangle me so I have to be careful.
My caregiver is only here in the mornings and so I’m alone in the afternoon. I’ve gotten into some bad situations in trying to pick things up and leaning over the armrest on my wheelchair. I get my blankets caught in the wheels occasionally and when I lean over, the blanket hits the joystick, the controller, and I ran over myself. My power chair was over my legs. I keep a pillow under my legs all the time and I was able to get the pillow out and I just laid on the floor. My husband came to the door and I told him to get the chair off me. I've used MobileHelp once and it worked pretty good. The only part that bothers me is that it takes so long to respond from the time I push the button until it even starts ringing and I have to wait for somebody to answer. Other than that, I like having MobileHelp for safety and back-up. I got this for my own security because I’m in this chair 24/7 and I need something that I can rely on in the afternoons.

I think it’s not unique to the one we have, and that it’s standard with all of their devices. We live in a retirement community and another person wears it and she tells me it’s good anywhere. I felt that badly and I live alone and so I didn't know what was to become of me so I told them yes and they took me to the hospital.
Now if I'm not feeling well at night, I always get up and unlock my door because I'm in an apartment. I could push the button of the device and easily get help. Then I check in with MobileHelp every so often to make sure that everything is working well. I always want to know that whenever I need their assistance, they are right there. One time it got accidentally pushed and before I knew it, the paramedics and everybody else is there because I didn’t have the number and I couldn’t get to the office in time. I taped the 800 number so if it accidentally got pushed again, I could call the 800 number and let them know that it was an accident. But that only happened once. But so far, fortunately, I haven’t had to use it. I only used it once and that’s when I had an infection and I wound up with sepsis and I went to the hospital but I was lucky it was a mild case. The response was quick.
The team at MobileHelp like to have it tested once a month and I had forgotten it. They called and said that it had been quite a while since I had tested it, and I complied with the request. I’m really satisfied with it. My daughter bought it for me. I’m 82 and I live alone but I still drive and maintain my own home. My main concern is arthritis. The pain sometimes is bad, but I’m fortunate I don’t have high blood pressure and diabetes. That’s why I’m glad I have this MobileHelp here. If it gets too bad, I can always get some help. I would recommend MobileHelp because it is portable. I can take with me and know that I’m gonna be protected. The medical alert gives us peace of mind. We know that she can reach out and ask for assistance. And it doesn't have to be a medical emergency. My mother-in-law sometimes wears the wrist watch and sometimes, the necklace type of device. At their age, if they don't find it comfortable and easy, they won't wear it. As for the MobileHelp staff, they've been very helpful at billing, with replacement item and with configuration. Some have been just about any way you can touch customer service. Even though I used the MobileHelp on a rather limited basis, I still use it with just having a cell phone, since my partner is usually home to answer the home phone if I need help. This is probably a poor excuse I admit. I'll try to carry the pocket unit more from now on. I do use it along with the wristband when I'm in the shower. I do wish that MobileHelp would reactivate the blinking light on my desk unit to remind me to check in to be sure everything is working OK. It died a few months ago, but is really not that much of a problem. I don't think the desk unit needs to be replaced. MobileHelp called everyone on his list of contacts and sent paramedics and an ambulance to him. Fortunately he did not need the help but we were very glad that we found out that it does work. MobileHelp was not at all distressed at the mistake. They were just happy that everything worked. Great company!!!

I haven't had to use my Mobile Help but I take it with me whenever I leave the house. I don't want to fall and not be prepared. When I ordered the system the gentleman I spoke explained everything, answered all my questions, he did a fine job. I had to call to pay my bill and change the account to take out my payment. Someone stole my case and since I have insurance, I wanted another one. He told me he would send me one. Great customer service!! I'm happy with the system.

Very pleased so far! Service has been great. All the reps have been kind. Would definitely recommend your services. So very glad I stumbled upon your service when we were looking. Price is reasonable. Only issue was had to be set up on "old" online service with mobile. For some reason could not troubleshoot to get the updated version.

I recently had to get in touch with MobileHelp and I was really pleased with the results. I had been having problems with my pendant. It was either going off all the time saying I had fallen which I hadn't, then when I did actually fall it didn't go off at all. I called the service dept and they sent me a new pendant and it seems to be working great. I received my new pendant just 2 days after my call so I was very pleased.

I tripped on a rug going into the bathroom, flew across the room, hit the shower bench and fell backwards into the tub cracking my head on the shower wall. I tried to pull myself up but couldn't manage, so I pressed my button. With 20 minutes from the time I fell I was up and on my feet. I refused going to hospital, they got ice bags for my head and my leg and when I insisted I was fine they left. I was very happy with the service.

I’m a diabetic. I like that I can clip MobileHelp's little box onto my waist and it's good that I can take it with me. I’m now more confident when I go out and if anything happens to me, I can get someone to get a hold of me. In addition, their people are very good when I do the testing to get it tested right away for me, and I really appreciate it.

We live in a retirement home and one of the directors had explained a couple of medical alert to us and we like MobileHelp the best so we got it. However, we rarely use it, though I accidentally set it off once. I should check it monthly but I haven’t done that, but we keep carrying them with us. In fact, I wear this neck device all the time. It's okay but it has somehow knotted because the little round piece has gone through the other way and I just stand in front of a mirror and get it fixed. So far it hasn’t been a problem, but I don’t know how that could be remedied.

I live alone and my daughter-in-law got me on MobileHelp medical alert. She had got her mother and aunt on it so then she called me and asked if I wanna go on it and I did. I wear it around my neck and it's very comfortable and convenient. There was one night that I thought I was hearing something that I shouldn't have in the night and when I got up to check on it, I pulled the medical alert out. So, it was handy to use if I needed it. Once, I came out of the shower and it went off. Then they responded before I even realized what was going on. Also, talking to them went real well. I'd recommend MobileHelp and in fact, I recommended it to one of my sisters since MobileHelp was less than what she was paying at the time.

My son wanted me to have MobileHelp because I live alone. I have a wristband and a neckband and I wear them all the time. I have the style with which their system would know and help me even if I fall and I can't press a button. When I first got it, I was robbed in my garage. It was amazing because the system told my son where I was. I tested it when I was in California and they told me exactly where I was. Their system covers the whole United States, whereas a majority of these systems only cover your house. That amazed me and I'm glad I have it.

I've got the MobileHelp medical alert device that I wear all the time like a wristwatch when I walk around. My daughter decided for me to purchase it because she's an awful worrywart and likes control. The thinking was that if I fall, I'll push the alert button. But if I fall, somebody would be here. I don't live alone, go any place alone, and go out by myself because I can't drive. So, to me, it doesn't make a lot of sense to have the MobileHelp. But my daughter seems to think I need it, so it's more to shut her up than anything else that I wear it. I don't pay attention to it too. However, if I fall in the middle of the night, I might need it.

My grandson works for MobileHelp in West Palm Beach and he bought a MobileHelp medical alert system for me, but I pay the bills now. The system I have is the one with the fall button. I wear it either around the neck or in my wrist and I have a pendant, which I don't use too much. The first time I had to use the system to get an ambulance was in October and the MobileHelp team was fine to talk to and got me help right away when I needed it. The system also sometimes goes off by itself and I have to talk to them to say that I didn't do anything.
In December though, I fell right in my kitchen and fell on my side, but the fall button didn’t go off. I thought maybe it was the way I fell that it didn't hit the floor quite hard enough. My son came over the next day and he tested the device and it was all right. I'm very satisfied with the system except for that one occasion, and I was awake that I could get up, so I didn't need them anyway. MobileHelp is very good and I've recommended them to other people. My grandson also bought one for my sister and my sister likes hers too.

My nephew's wife is the sister of the owner of MobileHelp and she introduced me to their medical alert device because I had fallen a couple of times and I'm 84. The only time I wear it primarily is when I go out in the yard in the garden to work and nobody's at home except me. Other than that I'm at home and usually there's someone here with me. It's very convenient to use. Even the one that I can take in the car is good to have if I'm going somewhere by myself. It's also a good feeling to know that I can get some help quickly. I have it tested sometimes twice a year and the reps are always very polite and very efficient. I have recommended it to several people.

MobileHelp sounded very good to me so I bought one and I'm very happy with it. I have the little microphone type thing that sits in the charger, and I have the other bigger machine, too. I also have the medallion for my neck and I have two wristbands, as well. I usually wear the medallion most of the day, but at night, it annoys me when I sleep, so I take that off and I wear one of the wristbands. And I feel more comfortable and more confident that I have help right at my fingertips if I need it. And that’s made a big difference because I'm by myself most of the time and I'm also legally blind. I'm more confined to the house, I don’t drive anymore and I always need someone to be with me when I go out.

So far, we’ve never had a medical problem but we’ve had many false alarms. It goes off too frequently which is why I don’t use mine. Their people are fine and response time is very prompt. We like that we can use it if we're stuck with a car although we’ve never used it that way.

I wear MobileHelp all the time. My son works for the company and he sent me the whole thing. It makes sense because I'm 83 and I'm alone, so if anything was to happen I push the little button and help arrives. If I go out I put the device in my purse or my pocket but sometimes I have it around my neck and the base station is back in the bedroom. It makes me sure that if I get into a bad spot I have a way to get some help. Otherwise, I'm on my own.
The button is very sensitive but it works because sometimes I forget that I have it on and I'm not that careful with it so I bump into all kinds of things and it goes off. Then I get a message within seconds asking if I'm okay and I'd run and talk into the base or yell that I accidentally bumped the button. In fact, today I was cleaning and had leaned over and it touched something so a person from MobileHelp asked if I was in trouble. At any rate, the MobileHelp people are wonderful whenever I talk to them. Thus, I've recommended MobileHelp to everybody, especially to those who are alone and live by themselves.

I had some hip operations so I needed a medical alert device. I knew one of MobileHelp's owners so I talked to him, tested the device, and it did everything I wanted it to. I haven't used it but I have tested it and I'm pleased with their response time. When I first got it, I was driving home, and I thought of testing this thing on the GPS piece. I called the site and they said, "Can I help you?" I asked, "Could you tell me where I am?" and they said, "It looks like you're on a highway and you're opposite Daytona Beach." I also asked how fast I was going, and they said 72 miles an hour. That was good! I have recommended MobileHelp already to friends.

I heard a lot of people talking that they can’t go any place without taking an alert device with them, and they wouldn’t be covered if they went too far from the house. I’m a member of American Legion Auxillary and as I was looking through their monthly magazine, I saw the advertisement for MobileHelp there. I read it all and I found out that it would go further than any of the medical alert devices would go so I gave them a call.
My sister, her husband, and my other sister had a device and they kept saying how those things go further. They live in the next town to me from Woburn to Burlington. I went up there for tea one afternoon and I brought my device with me but they didn’t know I had it. While we were having tea, I took the device out and I pressed my button, and a rep said, “Charlotte? Are you all right?” They almost dropped their tea because I was at their house and it was still working and taking care of me.
Also, I'm 87 years old who's legally blind with macular and I belong to the Senior Center Arnold in here. I had people who belong to the low-vision class ask me for MobileHelp's information after I told them that my device went that far in Burlington and how my thing was still on the stereo in the living room. It's the one that I could talk back with the rep. All in all, I appreciate the product.

Then when we go back to the mid-west in the summer, I talk to the CS folks because we shut it down for a week when we're going back and forth. We notify them of that so they can update their records. My wife and I have health problems. I have Parkinsons and I suffered a fall. She did a research and we eventually signed up for MobileHelp that puts us in touch with the ambulance drivers if needed. That’s what they’ve done for us so far and they did a dandy job. We have all the versions, the necklaces, the bracelet and the one for the house. The bracelet is not good because the rubber is not too comfortable but the necklace is more comfortable even though it flops around a bit. We’ve even set it off by accident but we had a good experience. When I first signed up, I did a test run and the guy who answered the phone asked us what the problem was and where we were and they got to the house quickly. Hello Sandra,
Thank you for your review of our products!
You raise a critical issue, and one that has been the backbone of our organization since its inception ten years ago. Like you, virtually all our customers have lives they want to pursue outside of their home space – and our company’s mission is to support those lives.
To that end, we want to assure you that while our MobileHelp medical alert systems operate with the support of AT&T’s cellular network, you do not have to be a AT&T customer nor switch your cell phone service to utilize our products. AT&T is simply the service carrier we use to ensure we can offer our customers a wide range of benefits – from easy installation to enhanced safety applications.
With either the MobileHelp Duo or Solo medical alert systems, you have access to emergency protection wherever you are – whether you’re at home or on the go (anywhere in the 50 states).
