I have been with Lexington law for 5 months. I initially had 20 items that needed to be removed from my credit reports, I have had 8 removed. I received information as to how they are proceeding with my case. I anticipate all will be removed in 2 to 3 more months. While I will admit that at 3 months, I was a little frustrated, I stuck with it and am again seeing progress.

I started using Lexington exactly one month ago. So far so good. 5 things removed 77 more to go as my client dashboard says. Impressed with the 5 removed for 100 bucks instead of 5 @ about 1500 bucks. But my score has only went up by 7 points. Maybe it's because I have so much on my credit. Can't wait to see what happens this month hoping that they wasn't just trying to get my busy and money and stop working on my account.

Please read this: I paid nearly $1,100 to Lexington Law Firm to repair my credit. I had to cancel due to non progress on my report. The only thing they did fast was taking my money from my account every 12th of each month. I'm a single mom of two and it's VERY SAD THAT A COMPANY do this to consumers. After paying $1,100 dollars I'm still not able to get a mortgage. If you have leftover money, then Lexington is the law for you to follow.

I contacted Lexington Law Corp about having some items removed from my credit. I signed up for their monthly fee in June. After paying them for 6 months only 2 items were removed from my report. Now I understand that having late items on my credit report is my fault, but if you advertise that you can remove 85% of items in 12 months, you should stand by your word. So in 6 months 2 items were removed out of 26 (8%). At that rate I would have been signed up and paying for the next 5 years. What a joke, and a complete waste of time and money. And they also made sure that they billed me again once I cancelled their service. Thanks.

They said they get paid after the work is done so I have filed a claim with the BBB. I feel like I was ripped off.

Worse business ever. They are very lazy and very overpriced for the little work they do over the long period of time they take to get the job done. Overall customer relations is horrible. Yes you can directly speak with a Representative but it doesn't help when your problem never gets solved. They weren't clear and concise about the charges and how they function. I hope that no one risks their money on them, they are a gamble. More misses than a hit.

Signed up with Lexington in early September to remove one erroneous transaction on my wife's credit report. We had already filed numerous complaints with Experian and the Consumer Credit bureau. The "Sales" guy did a great job listening to what we needed and highlighting what Lexington would do and the details on the billing...a great pitch.

After that all the information we provided was ignored and Lexington send us lots of emails. None that had a value and it was obvious no one bother to read any of the information we gave to the sales guy. They requested credit reports and sent one form letter to Experian with no details at all. It frankly had less details than any of the letters we had sent directly. So sign up if you want to contribute $10 an email to Lexington's income as unless you want Lexington to do the basics, you can easily do yourself. Lexington will not help.

Then they would say they were glad I called, as they just needed my permission to send my 'letters' to the upper tiers/next level. Whatever. Full of crap. I would advise people to seriously steer clear from them. I constantly received 'double speak' from them and had to constantly call them back. Each time I did, I spoke to a different person... And every time I would be told something different. Cellphone company, cable bill, to be expected, but not your damn credit information. Beware.

I have been with Lexington Law for going on four months now. They have removed one account from all three credit reports in that time frame. One account. They're supposed to be more aggressive, but I think that they are just taking my money and stringing me along doing the minimum. I haven't gotten anything back from the credit reporting agencies, aside from the one letter from the one collection agency removing itself from my credit reports. That's the only results I've had so far. I don't think it's very effective.

I think that there are better agencies out there. If you email them any questions, you generally just get a form letter back explaining time frames and that's it. There's really no personal service, so I think that I am going to cancel at the end of the month since I've paid in advance for this month, and try and find somebody who does what they actually say that they're going to do. Very disappointed with them.

Lexington Law presented itself as a company that would handle ALL issues with my credit report. I purposely explained that I wanted them to handle ALL issues because I did not want to do ANYTHING myself. I was assured that Lexington Law was capable and willing to do "all the work". After a grace period of five days they hit my account for $99.99 for the first month AND sent me an email describing how I could go online and access letters that I could send to the credit agencies to challenge certain items on my report.

I was stunned and I called for an explanation. I was told that certain derogatory remarks would be handled by Lexington Law but non-derogatory items that had negative influence on my report were up to me to handle using information found on the Lexington Law website. I informed the phone clerk that this is an example of exactly the opposite of what I wanted and was told; and was antithetical to my rationale for employing their service. I was then informed politely I could take it or leave it. Then I certainly requested to cancel my agreement and get my money back. I was told that I was now in the sixth day of my monthly contract and the 5 day grace period was over. I was told again that the only way I could cancel my contract would be to forfeit my money. I did not accept this information and continued conversations with representatives. The last representative told me that a manager would call me to discuss the matter. I am still waiting on that call.

Wrote one sentence letters to the creditors without any context to the claim. Would not supply a copy of the creditor's letters to me. Took 10 days to get them through multiple requests. They have been GREAT in removing those negatives. I am down to a 0 credit score so I can now start to rebuild my credit with good things. My husband is also enrolled and has seen some great things done on his report as well.

I had gone thru a credit consolidation company many years ago, only to be stuck with huge fees and outrageous monthly payments I couldn't afford. With Lexington Law when my income has fluctuated all I had to do was call them and they had different payment options I could choose from that fit my budget. The great thing is, they take it out of my account each month and I don't even miss the payment. My husband and I live week to week, paycheck to paycheck. So if we can make the monthly payments to Lexington Law and not even miss the money coming out of the account, anyone can do it... Anyone who uses this service and thinks that this firm can accomplish cleaning up your credit in a few months is dead wrong. I used this service and stayed with them for a 14 months without complaining and allowing them to do what they do. They sent challenge letters to all 3 credit bureaus over and over again until the creditor gave up and stopped defending the debt. The end result was 5 collection agencies removed and 2 original creditors removed because they had exceeded the 7-year reporting maximum. Some negative items were challenged up to six times before they fell off for good. I went from having a 540 to a 720 credit score during this 14 month period. Today I enjoy a credit score of over 800. Bottom line is your credit history usually doesn't get ruined overnight, so don't think that it's gonna get cleaned up overnight. The first rep I spoke to advised that Lexington Law could assist with helping me find a lender that would provide a loan. The customer service agent then advised that I would have to pay $12 for my credit report for them to begin assisting. After providing him with my card, which he debited immediately, I was then transferred to a welcoming agent who then explained the process completely.

The welcoming agent advised that they do not assist with loans, but are there to assist with credit issues and to help remove derogatory items from your credit bureau. I then explained that I only needed a small loan to help with car repairs and that's all and was not looking for some long drawn out process, especially when there are only 3 things on my credit under $500. I then advised that I would not be interested in their services and to cancel this membership. Please keep in mind that this is the same phone call.

The rep advised he understood and stated that he will cancel services. Needless to say $99 was debited from my account causing overdraft fees. I have called 3 times and each person advises that there is a refund request processed. A supervisor then states that she did not see a request for a refund and she would initiate it. I expressed my frustration to no end and ended the call. THIS IS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE THEY RIPPED OFF!!!

The service worked truly. Lexington Law worked with my creditors to get issues off my credit report which gave me a better credit score. When times got tough on my end with getting less hours, bills, etc. I contacted Lexington Law to cancel my membership 5 days before the bill was due, which was fine because that would have been my last bill and I'd be paid off. Well, checking my bank account one day I discovered Lexington Law posted another payment thru my bank account which caused 2 checks to bounce costing me $70.

I called Lexington Law and the lady was super nice and looked into my account to find out that it was canceled but someone did not fully complete the cancellation process which caused my account to remain open and me to get billed again. She said she fixed it and I will not receive another bill. I asked about my bounced checks and she said if I could prove without a doubt it was their fault they would reimburse me, which was fine but what am I to do NOW! My suggestion to anyone - Lexington Law does work and if you are ready to work on your credit go for it. BUT when you cancel make sure everything is complete. I got the confirmation email but I should have called back in after a few days to make sure it was closed completely.

I signed up for Lexington Law based on a sales rep who raved about what the company does. I fell victim to his sales pitch. Since the company was new to Maryland, they offered me a free 60-day trial, however, it was a $12.95 fee for them to get my credit reports. They told me that I needed to keep my debit card on file in order to continue with their services. I was confused as to why that was necessary because I was only trying the services for the free trial period. About a month and a half passed and they only removed items that were expiring next month anyway. I call to cancel my free trial period and they inform me that they will deduct $99.95 for their services! For what? It's a 60 day free trial period. Each time I try to get this looked into, I got directed to 8 different people.

I intentionally set a reminder in my agenda to cancel their services!!! They tried to bait me into believing that my 60-day trial was up. However, their "engagement agreement" with me stated that I had one more day left on my free trial, therefore I should not be charged anything!!! They even mislead me into thinking that the premier package was $99.95 a month but that's a lie!! Two separate representatives told me that it's $99.95 every fifteen days!!! That's ridiculous and a rip-off. Don't even try the free trial!! You will be better off fixing your negative credit marks yourself!!!

I was on Realty.com searching for homes and received a call from Lexington Law Firm. I listened to their speak and finally decided to give it a try as my credit is not an 825 any longer. I am now disabled from a car accident in Dec of 2005 and in June of 2013 I was diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome Type III which is a genetic disorder. I had to file bankruptcy and one of my credit cards was not included leaving me with a longstanding overdue debt which I found out about through the credit report that I paid $13 for through the LLF! This was the first point against them.

I chose the date of June 15 for the date of my first $99 payment. I figured that I had five days to cancel and plenty of time to research LLF after getting off the phone with the paralegal. I read reviews that were less than positive. I chose to cancel my membership with LLF. I paid $19.95 to send a Federal Cancellation Letter to them which was required for canceling. Which I have yet to find anywhere in any Federal Forms online. It appears that it is a form they fabricated to look Federal and it is very misguiding. The letter was received by them by 3pm on the final day that I was allotted to cancel within their 5 day cancellation timeline of 6/15 at 12 am.

As of today, July 28th I just got off the phone with another paralegal and supervisor, my third call to them thus far. The first call took me two days to get through, beginning on the 15th when I saw that they debited my account. I was told that I would get a call back from someone which I never received. The second call was on July 1st, I was promised not only a refund of the $99 but also of the cost of sending the letter, $20. My last call was today July 28, the call went through to a paralegal. She said that they already credited me. I now have to call my bank and find out if the $99 is in limbo somewhere as I felt it necessary to cancel my debit card on the 15th of June as a result of their early debiting of my account for their fee. It was debited a day earlier than I gave them permission to do so.

Come to find out, I was credited on the 22nd of June! It went into my other bank account which I did not give out to them. I do not use this account as much thus I did not notice the $99.95 credit. I am glad that I got the money back however, getting the run around and a false promise of a refund of the $20 that I paid for the letter to be sent is not ok with me from a law firm. I will not recommend them to anyone nor will I use their services ever again, I was considering it. I do not feel comfortable with them asking me for a date in which I want them to debit my account and them debiting it a day early and a Sunday no less. I also do not trust their competence as it took this long to get an answer that prompted me to call my bank and find the credit!

I signed up with this firm in February 2015 I had three(3) negatives on my credit report and a high amount of credit inquiries, when I spoke to the rep who signed me up they said it would be 12.95 for my credit report to be pulled and in two weeks I would have to make my first payment of 99.95 which would allow them to work on removing the negatives and monitor my credit. Soon after I had joined them I noticed that accounts had been added to all three of my credit agencies, and inquiries that I made a year prior was showing up on my report twice. I called them several times in regards to the work and efforts being made on my behalf and only then was I told they are sending letters on my behalf.

Then I called in regards to canceling my services because I was dissatisfied and could no long afford the 99.95 that they were billing me monthly for them to just play around with my case, so they offered me a discounted rate of 49.95 for three months, and still I called with questions, and information to help them better their removal efforts and still there was no change. Only change that came that I benefited from was a few credit inquiries aged out and were removed from my credit report which I was happy about but that wasn't what I was paying for. The negatives had been spread all through my credit reports and was gendering me severely. So I took it upon myself to call these three accounts about the negatives they had reported and actually told me exactly what to do.

So now here it is July 25 2015 and I have finally had enough with Lexington law, I have decided to work with a lawyer that I found through a real estate broker and I wanted to cancel my account with Lexington Law and the rep online is offering me a 12.95 for them to continue to monitor my credit for future negatives and changes. I told them "No, thank you. I get that service free of charge with my bank." Then she tells me any responses or removals they get after I close my account they will not notify me of, but they will continue to work on my case even after I have closed it. I told them that will not be necessary because all responses will be sent to me directly and I'll have my lawyer deal with it.

Then the rep tells me "great" and that my account is now closed but I will be charged 49.95 on the regular billing date for work done. I told them "no" and that when I signed up with them I was told it was a month to month service and that I had already paid for this months service and I should not be incurring any more fees because according to when I first signed with them as long as I canceled before my next billing cycle my account would not be billed. So she's going to tell me it's for the work they have done for the month. I said the month is paid for and she offered to send me some acknowledgement forms to verify what she said but before I could respond she ended the chat.

What I will say here to all those with credit issues you are better off pulling your own credit report and contacting lenders yourself in regards to resolving any issues and should that not work you get yourself an actual lawyer or a mortgage broker who specializes in credit repair as I have done now. It was the best advice ever given to me through a banker and I'll leave you with another piece of advice given by my grandfather - paralegals a people who play with the law Lawyers and Attorneys are people who know the law never bring fun and games to a business matter because you'll be played with and not be taken seriously yourself. Lexington Law is not for you. And I will be getting a refund. As a disgruntled customer who is severely dissatisfied with the manner in which they handled me and my case.

So I will definitely let you guys know if this company really is legit. I will check in on the 25th of every month since that's when my credit card gets hit with that 99.95 charge.

I hired them for stubborn college loans. I stopped last April because I was getting married and needed the money. Now that I am married and consolidated my college loans I hired them again today to tackle these college loans so I can get a mortgage with my husband. My goal is 3 months but one must be realistic and understand that it may not happen. It wouldn't be the fault of Lexington Law. They were upfront and honest with me that I have a 50/50 chance. The goal of Lexington Law is to tie you up in a lengthy amount of time that they can continually charge you under the premise that if they submit too many disputes to the credit bureaus, they will be regarded as frivolous and dismissed. I gave them two stars because they actually did get a few things off my report. However for the hundreds and hundreds of dollars and constant checking on them to make sure they were doing what they were expected to do, I could have just done it myself and saved several hundred dollars. Maybe if LL would get off their butts and handle the process in a quick manner (a consumer has the right to dispute however many credit inquiries they want at a time), I would pay them for their services. Instead they try to sneak around and nickel and dime you. Which is why I won't use them again.

I signed up with Lexington Law in December of 2012 to address 4 accounts distributed across three bureaus for a total of 12 items that I was assured would be very easy to remove. It is now June of 2015 and only 4 of the items have been removed - early on, a 5th item was removed but it reappeared in mid 2013 and Lexington Law has not resolved that issue and appears to be counting this as a 13th item because my Case Valet states that there are 9 items left??? I initially signed up at $99 per month but changed that to the Concord standard, thus I've been paying $79.95 per month since early 2013 and to date have spent close to $2,500 at this inept organization and I am still stuck with 9 of the issues that I started with. Lexington Law should not make promises that they cannot meet, it is very disingenuous and costly to the consumer when they do so.

In addition, Lexington Law is a very disorganized and insincere business, there is not a dedicated individual working my case and every time I called in I spoke with someone new who had a different solution for resolving my *simple* credit issues. No one seems to take an interest or ownership in my case and when there are too many *paralegals* working one case (that do not know my background/history), there is an ineffective solution. Note: I do question whether or not everyone that I have spoken with is truly a certified paralegal.

Furthermore, I have received a letter from one credit bureau stating that the manner in which my *complaints* have been handled (sent from Lexington Law) it appears my demands are of a frivolous nature. Had Lexington Law had their act together, the four creditors and three bureaus would have taken my case more seriously. But instead, it's been an absolute waste of time (coming up on 3 years now) and money and I fear that this organization's ineffective, unprofessional, and shoddy business practices have done me more harm than good. Their customer service has really gone downhill and they will only call you if they need to renew a customer agreement or need money.

Today (25 June 2015) was probably the straw that broke the camel's back. I noticed I had a missed call from Lexington Law, they called again and I answered the phone. The man on the other end immediately requested my e-mail and mailing address. I asked him why and he told me that he can't tell me until I provide him that personal information. And I asked him how can I be sure that he was even from Lexington Law and he was still rude and asked me for my personal information again. I still questioned him on what was the nature of his call - I don't require a lot of details, just one or two words would have been fine. He was still rude and he mentioned that an e-mail was sent with the same topic. And I asked him what that topic was and he still wouldn't tell me unless I gave my personal information.

I then asked to speak to a supervisor and he would do that only if I gave him my personal information. At that point I unloaded on him. I called Lexington Law later on and spoke with someone regarding my account/situation and got the usual I don't care/clueless attitude and I explained how I felt about their lack of service (he still didn't care or even wanted to hear what I had to say). So I asked to speak to a supervisor about a partial refund for the ineffective service that they have provided. He wouldn't let me speak to a supervisor but he put me on hold to see about a refund. He came back on the phone about 30 seconds later and said that he couldn't do a partial refund but he could credit me the last two payments... I guess that's better than nothing. I told him that I will not be renewing my client agreement and I expect to see a refund on my credit card... we'll see what happens.

Summary, do not... and I mean DO NOT sign up with Lexington Law unless you are prepared to throw away a lot of money, go through a lot of frustration, and put up with inferior customer service with the hopes that you may or may not end up with someone who knows what they're doing and can maybe help your case. Shameful.

I had called in to ask some general questions on cost and how the whole thing worked. Naturally the representative persistently asked for my credit card number. I informed him that I did not have a valid card at this time as I was in the process of exchanging banks. I also told him I was not interested in paying 100 dollars a month. He told me that if I had a card with zero balance, or a prepaid Visa card that I could use that for the initial 10 dollar fee or whatever that amount was. He said that I could then determine whether or not they would be able to help me.

I repeated to him that I had canceled my card recently because I was in the process of switching banks. He then told me that it could be used anyway, and that it was just to have something on file to go to the next step. So I gave him the number to my cancelled debit card, and it apparently "worked" as he said. After replying yes to text messages I was good to go. I received notifications saying they sent out letters. I assumed that would stop when they realized I had never paid them a cent as my card never was charged because it was cancelled before I even "signed up". They kept contacting me so I answered and informed them that I am not interested in paying 100 dollars for what is basically a leap of faith. The representative informed me that I am still on the hook for $119.00.

After speaking with 2 different people, the first guy talking so fast and and the next one who is suppose to be the paralegal, after trying to access our credit report, they were unable to do so. I kindly explained to the lady that I would get the information, however it may take a few days due to me having to work, i.e. the reason I chose to hire them instead. I know how to do this work, I just don't have the time to write letter after letter and making sure they are sent off properly via the Postal Service. So I asked the young lady to allow me to cancel and I would call back. So she sends me to Customer Loyalty Rep ** who was overly rude, told me my husband had just used the service and cancelled.

After 45 min of talking to her and explaining that he had not used the service in February, she realized that this was in 2011. Now she wants to apologize, asked for a refund, she declined, even though they had not proceeded to even start assessing my information and had only worked with my husband. She was very rude, however I asked for confirmation email which she did send and I was sure to keep her on the line until I received it. I will never ever use their services, they have no value for customers at all. Wish I had of taken heed to the complaints but chose to see for myself. Well guess I have found out now.

No Thanks Lexington, top rated or not, your customer service sucks and you want to take money. I have my confirmation, I just hope they don't try and steal my money out of my bank account. Might just cancel my debit card to be safe. Oh yea, this is the rep I spoke with whom I asked her name and she tells me it is ** only, **, and I don't know how they will know who you talked to. Well **, I have your information and now I will post it so others will know how rude you were and how you were of no help at all. And I still have not gotten a refund or my credit report they claimed I paid for, however the report was free of charge on TransUnion and I never got a chance to speak with anyone about myself because my husband was first. And they still charged me 12.99. Sincerely, Disgruntled, Angry customer. **, Paralegal Team, Lexington Law Firm, 800-341-8441.

This company is a total scam! I paid them $100 per month for almost 6 months and nothing was done for my credit despite the fact that I had the paperwork to prove my case. They didn't even ask me for this paperwork even though I told them I had it on file. After everything, they charged me an extra month after I cancelled because they said that they work a month out. I would never use this company and would suggest that you don't use them either. Find someone local that you can go and talk to about your credit, you'll end up paying less and actually getting help.

I can only tell you what happened to me after I started using Lexington Law. I joined them and started paying them a little bit less than $100 a month. My credit score started going down every month. After 5 months of service I stopped playing. After you join and pay your first month’s service that's when they tell you all about it. They tell you the two largest items cause the most damage to your credit is your credit to debt ratio of your credit cards which you are responsible for and the derogatory statements that they are responsible for distributing.

What they do not tell you is each derogatory statement on your credit report - three derogatory statements to Lexington Law. If you have 20 derogatory statements on your record, they count it as 60. Each credit Bureau is counted as one each. Tell you, they only do a small percentage each month and they never do all 3 bureaus at one time for a derogatory statement. Other words, it will take them 3 months to get 1 derogatory statement off all three credit bureaus.

After my score started to go down I questioned them. They said it’s my fault. They said my credit to debt ratios on my credit cards was too high. They said it was my fault. Yet I did not do anything to create that. I had looked closer and found out that my credit card companies, after Lexington Law disputed their claim, had lowered my borrowing ceiling. Therefore my debt to borrowing ratio was much worse because Lexington law made them mad and they lowered my limit. They made it look like I spent more. When I didn't spend a dime. It is a scam - do not use them. I will explain this to anyone. Their lawyer called me and offered my money back to not say anything. I didn't cash the check. I am a regular person. My rating is 602.

I have been a customer of Lexington Law since October 2014. Since then, I have had 4 negative removals from each of the 3 bureaus. That is 12 removals out of about 44 negative items, so in 4 months I have cleaned up 27% of my bad debt. They gave me the first month half off, so very generously, and I pay $50 a month for their basic service, so I have only invested a little over $200 to have 12 removals and see my credit score jump about 60 points. It is working so well I am considering bumping up to their higher levels of service. Some people are very impatient, you need to realize that these things take time.

I did not have any bankruptcy, repossessions, or foreclosures on my credit, keep in mind these are very difficult to remove. Mine are all credit card debt and medical bills. The medical bills seem to be the quickest to come off. They have not been successful in taking off my late car payments yet, but we will see. So far I feel the work done was worth my money.

Seriously, one of the best things about Lexington is their customer service and their convenience. They are available until late evening hours and even on Saturdays. I have NEVER waited on hold more than a couple minutes, and I call a lot to check up on my case. I love that I can just go online and instant message them if I have a quick question. Their live chat is so convenient. I have always come in contact with very helpful and courteous paralegals. The reason why I went with Lexington was because when I compared them with other similar services, the paralegals at Lexington were nice and intelligent. They are SO professional.

I have had a bad experience with another company called Credit CRB who were awful and made several mistakes. Lexington's staff is knowledgeable and actually know what they are talking about. I will be sticking with them until there is nothing more they can help me with, and I have recommended them to all my friends and family.

They had come through with what they said they would do BUT it took over a year to get this done. I got the feeling that they were milking me for $99 a month and with no effect to my credit and about the time i was done with paying for no results, i seen improvement. But everyone needs to keep in mind that your credit is based on length of history and removing all past account bad or not, it leaves you in the same boat from bad credit history (not good) to no credit history (also not good). Everyone needs to be aware of what they are trying to achieve and just because all the bad is removed, doesn't make your score 780. Good luck to all!

They tell you there are attorneys and paralegals working there to assist and help you to remove negative credit information from your credit reports and histories. I had signed up and was anticipating since this was a legal firm and this was their only area of practice they were experts in this field of correcting problems and removing negative items from a consumers credit reports.

I myself am not an attorney, however I am well-schooled and knowledgeable how the credit bureaus work and operate. I had called and inquired about do they address all 4 credit bureaus and problems associated with them. The imbecile on the other end of the phone says to me, "Yes, we cover all 3, Experian, Equifax and TransUnion as there are only 3 and not 4". I replied, "Well what about the silent giant the 4th one called Innovis...?" The imbecile replied, "Innovis, never heard of it and I do not know what you are talking about." I said professionally, "Thank you for your time and have a pleasant day".

When I hung up the phone, I said to myself, "I am a consumer and I know of this 4 credit bureau named Innovis and a Law firm named Lexington Law does not have any idea what I am talking about...?" I knew right then and there I was not dealing with any attorneys or paralegals, as if I was then they would know of what I was speaking of immediately".

I called back the next day and requested an immediate refund and my request was denied, in turn the next day I sent them an email informing them that if they do not refund my money immediately I will contact the State's Attorney General’s Office and the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) and file multiple complaints and call my private attorney and have him start immediate legal action on filing a lawsuit against Lexington Law. I had my money back the next day credited back to my debit card I used when I had originally signed up. Folks, do yourself a favor. Do not use this outfit as if you do, you will be burned and burned for sure. Regards and thank you.

I called to have 1 delinquent mishap removed. The original paralegal looked at our credit and started trying to sell us other services. I agreed to have them look at other accounts because he stated that it was reporting incorrectly and they could absolutely get it removed. Well, surprise, the paralegal did not know what he was talking about and everything was reporting correctly, he was just looking at it wrong. Then they sold me the highest cost service and did not bother to explain what it included. It included 6 challenged when we only needed the 1. He never bothered to tell me that there was a cheaper service which would be half the cost since we only had the 1 challenge. So I called and had the service reduced for my wife's account. I cancelled my service well before the billing cycle was over but they still charged me the full amount for the service that they were already overcharging me for. On top of all that, they did absolutely nothing for me. I have been with them for 2 months, and there is absolutely nothing to show for it. Don't waste your time or money with these guys.

I got RIPPED!!! By these fraudulent evil lying computerized paralegals! And that's questionable at that. They are serious legalized thieves. Please if you live on a fixed income, like myself, hang the phone up!!! My story hurts for me to even have to run through it enough to put it into words. However if it helps someone else on a fixed income or not, I have to. LL came about through me trying to find an apt, through rent.com. First co. called scoresence.com, debited my acct 29.00. Now LL debited for 12.99, 99, 99.95 twice plus 30.00 and 19.00 processing fee. My acct is now a neg 55.36, it's Christmas. I haven't bought any gift or been able to pay my electric bill. I was distraught, unable to find an honest answer for these charges. I gave them my debit card # for the initial 12.95 for LL to obtain the Experian report. AFTER that was when I'm told I would be charged 99.95 monthly. I stopped them right there, told the representative I couldn't afford that till maybe the first of the year, if possible. They deny that this conversation took place. However they are nothing more than legal thieves. They refuse to give my money back. I got a threatening call from a p.l. from LL, in Nov, because they couldn't debit my acct last mo. for the 99.95, saying I agreed to this arrangement.

I'm very upset, brokenhearted that this type of thing is going on. Lawyers at that... who better to commit a crime and get away with it. I thought stealing someone's money was a crime! I thought we had rights! I'm an American. GOD deals with thieves, John Heath. This is our temporary home (earth)... If you don't know him, may you find him soon. After reading other complaints, many at that, it seems, debiting peoples accts without proper communication (swindling) them, then insisting the whole problem lies with the customer, I plan to take this matter to the attorney general, the Better Business Bureau, and the major news venues.

I signed up for Lexington Law after a referral of a friend that assured me that they got everything on his account removed. I should've have known better than to instantly sign up for a service without doing due research first. Oh well, that was my mistake. I first signed up in August of 2014 and I was so desperate to get the negative mark on my credit report removed that I signed up for the 99.95 a month plan. After 4 months of nothing happening except my inbox getting spammed (with emails letting me know that nothing was happening), I decided that I had enough. I tried to contact the lawyer in charge of the case and make a face to face meeting happen, but I kept getting screened with paralegals and phone operators. It was very frustrating. After a few weeks I finally just closed my case and called it quits. It sucks that I'm out almost 600 dollars, when that 600 dollars could have gone towards actually fixing my credit.

I input my information into The Lending Tree trying to get refinancing for my home. They did not offer any financial solutions but recommended credit repair and I was contacted by Lexington Law firm. The first gentleman I spoke with explained how they could help me wipe out the bad marks on my credit and then requested money to run my reports. This was only after considerable convincing on his part wherein he assured me that once he ran my report, he would stay on the phone with me and go over each item. As soon as he ran my report, however, he stated he was transferring me to a paralegal. I begged to differ as he had just promised to stay with me to go over the report, but he told me he was sorry and if I needed to speak with him again, here was his number and extension then I was promptly transferred to a paralegal. The paralegal told me of four minor blemishes on my report. They were under collection service names and she was unable to tell me the original creditors names. She said we would have to now order the Experian report.

We attempted to do so but she said it would not let us in to get the report. She then asked what method would I prefer for them to use in seeking to have these debts removed and ask if they were my debts or the result of identity theft. I explained it is impossible to determine without knowing who the original creditors are. Finally she said I should go to Experian and try to download that report myself. Ok, I said, "so you just charged me money for my annual free credit reports and now I'm to download experians myself." I could have done all of this at zero costs myself but now they had used up my annual free reports which I did not have and they did have. Great. I kept asking questions to determine exactly what they do with the service they offer. They had lied to me once already, charged me $12.99 for free reports, and then they wanted to give me five days to think things over, giving me a chance to cancel before they charge me $95.00 for their "aggressive plan".

This plan, they explained, meant that around ten days after billing me the $95.00 they would send out verification letters to the creditors on my report. Therefore, ten days would have been completely used up before anything at all was done on my behalf. The creditors had thirty days from the day the letters were received to respond with verification of the debts. By that point, payment number two for $95 would be deducted from my credit card. If the creditors failed to furnish complete and accurate information, Lexington would then seek to have the items removed. I am fairly certain this process would entail another thirty days. Then, the paralegal explained, after having possible success removing the blemishes from my credit report, they would continue to work with me on how to build my credit by adding debtors whom I would be able to establish credit with; that removing debts would not give me a good credit standing.

This tells me that Lexington clearly swindled me on the charge made for my free credit reports, $12.99, and further intended on pocketing another $95.00 for letters to my creditors for one month, and God only knows how much for unstated future actions to wipe off some minor debts. Following this, they explained it would be necessary for me to build credit (with their help). I could pay off all the debts to my creditors and build credit if I had the funds to do so. I don't pay my bills late because I am lazy and procrastinate! I pay them late because I don't have the money to pay them now. It makes perfect sense to incur a grand of debt to Lexington Law for their help, in my situation...NOT!

This firm charged me $12.99 for my free annual credit reports, but only got two out of three. They kindly offered to forward the two credit reports they had successfully obtained but did not offer to refund the $12.99 they charged me (and I did ask for a refund). Further, I regret fully being convinced to hand over to this entity all of my personal information required for their bogus help, such as my full name, address, social security number, phone number, email address, credit card number and security code thereon.

Although Lexington may actually offer a valid service to some, it is certainly not helping people like myself who are barely making it from day to day. I do have the names of those I spoke to acting as representatives for Lexington Law, but certainly don't feel they need to be punished for their roles in this. The deceit is led by the employer.

Instead, the second billing period we were charged the full price, almost $200! If I could afford to pay that much, then I'd just start paying stuff off my credit. Not to mention, they are taking their sweet time in getting letters out to creditors and then they say they have to wait 30 days to hear a response. I would NOT recommend this "service" to anyone! I was satisfied with the progress that was being made but then there was a problem with the payment arrangement. I was told that my due date was the 26th of every month but payments were being processed at the beginning of the month. I opened my case in September. The first payment was processed on October 11th and $99.95 was taken. Then another payment was processed on the 6th of November. A late fee had to be added due to funds not being in my account but the paralegal was telling me that was for October and not November so it made me think they were trying to get extra money. So I told her to close my case.

I have been with LL for about 5-6 months. I must say that they removed several items from my 3 credit reports and they did it pretty fast. Now after the initial progress everything came down to a halt and progress stopped completely. I'm certain that I was overcharged based on the agreement on the phone, but I'm ok with that as the things they got removed were worth it to me. The main reason I give them 3 stars is because it is obvious that the initial accomplishment was the realistic result of the effort and they should advise inform their clients about it. Here is a mind boggling idea... be upfront and make more money. Reputation is the best advertisement.

How about they adjust their program and have a plan where the first 3 months are at a full rate and then recognizing that progress will be very limited after that retain customers at a reduce rate? I would keep the service at...$25 or so knowing that they keep an eye on your credit and that they may fix a thing or two a year. They will not only retain client but will be very notorious for their honest approach. This will greatly increase their reputation thus getting more new clients... otherwise bad reviews will slowly bring down the business.

So, I accidentally (or, better say, stupidly?) signed up for more information from Lexington Law (LL) online while searching for the credit card offers opt-out page. I was immediately contacted by email, short message and phone call from LL. I was then successful unsubscribing from emails and texts, but the calls kept coming and I wasn't picking them up, thinking they'll get the idea and stop calling, but that did not happen. So, I decided to call myself to their phone number and ask to remove my phone from their call list. This is where things become interesting. First agent, after realizing that I wanted to remove my phone number from their call list, transferred me somewhere where no one got back to me. So, I called again. The second agent after another request to remove my number started making fun of me in a very insulting way and then disconnected.

The third agent transferred me again with no one coming back to me after a long hold (I believe, this is their "nice" way of dumping people who they are not making any money off of). The fourth agent (a young lady) finally took my phone number and said that she will update their system. In all, from communication with LL operators, I can say they are the most rude, insulting company I have ever dealt with. In my subjective opinion they are simply scam artists! And now I started receiving calls from unknown numbers saying I won $1m dollars... Did they sell my phone number to some internet scammers? I am pretty sure they did!

I was very pleased with the results from Lexington Law. I was finally able to talk to an attorney instead of a paralegal. He refunded the monthly fee and went above and beyond by refunding additional funds for the time that was involved to clear the matter up and the misinformation received from the staff.

    Original Review: Nov. 6, 2014

My significant other was allowed to sign me up for credit Repair Services through Lexington Law as recommended by a Loan Officer. We both signed up and were charged a special rate of $99.95 for both of us (2 for the price of 1). Payments were set up to be deducted from our checking account through EFT. After a month we decided that we could not afford for both of us to have the services so she called to cancel hers. No problem. We lowered my program from $99.95 to another limited time special offer of $59.95 per month. For the last 2-3 months nothing has been done on my account except the same form letter sent out to the same companies, one company with an undeliverable address which a copy of the envelope was sent to LL. An email was sent on 10/20/14 to cancel the service and discontinue the EFT immediately from my checking account. The payment was not due to come out for another week or so.

I contacted them on 10/30/14 when I discovered the payment was deducted and I was charged 1 $25.00 NSF fee because I had not budgeted for the cancelled payment. I was told I was being charged for services already performed. I asked "What services?" I also advised the person I was speaking to that there hasn't been any service on the account. He then state after placing me on hold and speaking with someone else that he could only reimburse part of the payment from the time of cancellation. He stated he would process it immediately. I checked my account yesterday and no reimbursement. I sent another email requesting reimbursement. I received an email today stating I would not be reimbursed at all.

Different information from different people with no accountability for their actions or information given. You only talk to so-called paralegals, never official attorneys. They act as if the money is coming out of their pocket instead of the corporation. They claim to care about people and wanting to help when all they are doing is scamming hardworking Americans. They should be ashamed of themselves. I am cancelling my Credit Karma account since they advertise for LL and recommend them highly.

I called and was literally on hold for 37 minutes. "FINALLY" I get through and they say I was charged a LATE FEE. But he will waive it and only charge me $79.95 next month. Of course next month came and I was charged the $99.95. I'm calling tomorrow and canceling. This service is not effective whatsoever and I can't afford to just give away $100 a month. The customer service should not be so impossible to reach. High call volume or not, no wait time should exceed 35 minutes.

Upon initial sign up with Lexington Law, I was advised that as a prior military service member my first month would be $49.95 and $99.95 thereafter for Concord service. The First month on September 30th I was billed $99.95. Today I was billed $99.95 again. I inquired online via live chat the status of the discount. To my surprise the representative advised that he would waive the first month's fee due to the error, waive this month’s late fee and draft a payment of $49.95 November 7th. Wow. They had no record of payments for my account. To get this far it took 25 minutes. I provided the representative the transaction numbers associated with the debits from my account and after several minutes of waiting he was able to locate the first payment from September 30th, but advised my payment from today was declined.

I am looking at my account and clearly the $99.95 was taken out. I requested my account be cancelled immediately and a way to submit proof the draft went through. He said it may take some time to get that information and I declined to continue. I have called in and been on the phone on hold with another representative for over a half an hour who is now going through the speech. No one can get it right until I provide transaction numbers associated with the debit.

I have been on the phone for well over an hour now and it’s so funny how the rep's story changes with more and more facts that I provide. I am certainly over this company and I have asked for everything in writing as absolutely nothing has been resolved other than my case is now closed. I cannot believe a legit company like this is supposed to be would have such terrible customer service, billing and accounting services. I will be watching very closely to see if there are any more issues or debit attempts. What a shame as the actual repair services were great.

Although LL seems to be connected with trustworthy businesses, their practice methods aren't trustworthy. I was going to be double billed before they'd serviced me. I use pre-load Visa with low balances so I can't get swindled thus the charges didn't go thru. After I told the rep that unless they cancelled service immediately without any further charges I'd report them to FTC, BBB and the State Bar of Attorneys for fraud, unfair practice and charges which is a Federal offense because it's a phone transaction. That got her attention and they cancelled immediately and apologized for their failure to contact me at the onset.

By the way, what's so disappointing about LL is that they're a U.S company based in Utah and they're mistreating US citizens like those foreign based scammers do!

The service was good. In all honesty it was easy to use and they really seemed to be doing a good job at what they were commissioned to do. However, my wife and I were overbilled the first month. They agreed in writing and said they would refund it on the next month. However, the next month not only did they not refund us, they actually overbilled us again. This happened a third month and we both canceled our service as a result of it. We never received the refund and on top of that our service has been canceled for 4 months now and we are STILL BEING BILLED $99.95 each month for canceled service. We will unfortunately have to dispute the charges and take legal action because it's about $600 in negligence and overbilling at this point.

I signed up for credit repair on 5/29/14 after a divorce left my credit challenged. I thought I was asking all the right questions to check them out and confirm the work they do and results I would get was what I was looking for. I was told on the initial call that they send out letters aggressively and that if the creditor doesn't respond in 30 days, the negative item has to be removed from my credit report. Great, right?

Well, the letters were sent out on a drip campaign (at best). Right away, I realized they were doing this to stretch out the length of my service. I would get notices that more letters were being sent out on my behalf, but no details on what letters or how many. It seems that there was no follow up by LL and having had the service for 4 months, well beyond the initial letter's 30 days, none of these items were removed. I have had no feedback that any of the creditors replied indicating the removal would not happen, so I can only assume that they just didn't send the letters or didn't follow up with the credit bureaus for the removal. I do know some letters were sent out, as I received one in the mail, "not deliverable as addressed", with my return address spelled incorrectly, too! Not good attention to detail coming from a law firm.

Besides not following through or providing decent service; when I inquired into cancelling the service, I was told that there would be one more charge to my credit card on 10/3/14. When I disputed that, the online chat rep disconnected the chat without responding! I called the phone number and was told that I have been paying for work completed, not paying for the upcoming month's work. This is contrary to what I was told at sign up, and makes no sense. If this is true, LL charged me one fee of $99.95 for five days of work, called a set up fee, and then another $99.95 for those same 5 days for "work completed".

I kept thinking any day now I would see some of the fruits of their labor, but now...I am not sure there was much labor. I feel they are preying on people during these tough credit times, people that really don't have the money to spend on these monthly fees, but sacrifice to speed up the recovery process.

After one month of service I wasn't happy and cancelled. I didn't think I would be billed again but I was. Chatted with a representative and was told the first payment was a set up fee. Not impressed.

I signed up with Lexington Law In April of 2014. It is now September. I got the highest level of their service monthly which is their Concord Premier. It's all a bunch of bull. Up to this day they only removed 1 negative out of the report I have. I lost my mind on them. I tried to be patient but I'm paying monthly for them! They are full of crap! All they do is copy and paste dispute letters and sit on their **. I'm going back to Sky Blue Credit who worked so effectively for me. The only reason why I left them is because I wanted to monitor what they were doing online. ** Lexington Law, they raped me of my money. I'm working on buying a new house and the way how they were moving is slowing me down as well! STAY AWAY FROM THESE SLOW **.

I couldn't understand the emails they were sending me about the challenge letters they were sending out. Nothing made sense, nothing was adding up. My biggest credit owe wasn't even challenged because they said they do the little ones first. I asked what was cleared up and who did I owe. She couldn't give me an answer. She said once it is sent to collections they aren't able to tell who or where the bill came from. I wanted to cancel my contract and made it very clear that is what I wanted. I was put on hold and she then once again tried to get me to stay. It took all my energy to get my account cancelled and I had to actually get nasty. Then of course they took another $100 for whatever work they say they did.

We paid for Lexington Law services for about a year. Our credit rating didn't substantially improve. There were a few really old accounts that did drop off after several months of their disputes to the credit bureaus. But we hired a second company that actually called the creditors and had the accounts removed, not just sends dispute letters to the agencies reporting your credit. This company found out that one of the creditors was falsely reporting - we made payments on an account over 10 years old so they could keep it in collections. When they asked the creditor to provide proof of payment, they could not so - it had to be removed. Lexington Law didn't catch that the whole time we had them so for the biggest items we needed help with they we ineffective. They obviously don't research the actual underlying issue or this item would have been caught by them.

I called to stop my service and a man told me no, he would move me to a cheaper plan. He refused to stop my service and stop billing me. A few months later, I called back and told a lady I was tired of being charged and didn't want their service anymore. I had moved all my items to 'no dispute' so they were doing nothing for me anyway for months now. She gave me 20 questions about why I wanted to leave, I answered them then she wanted to put me on hold to check something. I told her no I didn't want any more bills from them because they are doing nothing for me and the last guy refused to close my account. When I asked to speak to a manager, she finally agreed to close my account. It's 9-23-2014 and she said I will get a bill on the 30th that I have to pay. This firm has no issue with charging you for doing nothing, I suggest you find real help and not just dispute form writers, your money will be better spent. I am now out several hundred dollars for nothing done the past few months.

I signed up with Lexington Law to remove a Dept. of Treasury delinquency that was erroneously reported. I was charged $12.99 twice to pull my credit and ended up with 3 inquiries from them pulling my credit in the first 2 days. They said they could NOT remove the extra charge and that it was NON-refundable. They also said the inquiries were not suppose to show up on my credit report but it did and was NEVER removed. The customer support service is way below par and they have specialists that will tell you something totally different. You will also not get the opportunity to speak to that agent again.

My husband and I just decided on Sept 12, 2014 (literally) and I’ve been amazed so far. I read the reviews and was a little skeptical to call and become a member, but after calling the other companies (with fees a lot higher) I decided to go ahead and take a chance (besides we could always cancel if we're not satisfied). Well, we paid the 1st fee (which is what TranUnion charge of $25 for their credit report) then the next payment of $50 was suppose to be paid on Sept 15th. After looking at my bank account I noticed that night that it hadn't come out yet, so I called. The young lady explained due to an error on their part with billing me that issued me a $50 credit and would not be billing me till Oct 15th (Blessings)!!! However, I received a text message today that 2 negative items have come off my husband credit report already! We've only been with the company 4 days! Don't let the negative of what some people are saying stop you from giving Lexington Law a chance in helping you get your credit back on track. I’ve been very satisfied with them so far, and everyone I’ve spoken to has been very friendly and helpful!

I called a company about re-consolidating credit and they advised that I didn't quite have enough credit to consolidate. In return they transferred me to Lexington Law Firm telling me that they would be able to better assist me and take care of my credit score and such. After speaking with the initial person I was told that within 24 hours I would receive a call from a paralegal. I received that call 3 days late but was unable to speak with her since I was on the road driving. I tried several times to call in to speak with someone but was on hold for several minutes and wasn't able to wait.

I was told that I would be charged $12.00 per credit report for my husband and myself, I was. Then after I spoke with the second person (which I never did) then we would decide when my monthly fee of $99.95 would begin to come out of my account. Later the same day that the woman called for our official conversation (the one I could speak with since I was driving) I was charged $49.95 that was debited from my account. At this point I had not yet chose to hire this company for any help other than to pull my credit report. Again, I tried several times to speak with someone.

I never could get through to a live person so I decided to use their chat option. I got on with a lady named Sarah. I made it clear that I wanted my $49.95 refunded to my account since I never hired them. She told me she showed that it declined and was never take out. Clearly, on the other screen I was looking at my checking account and saw that it came out....... I know they saw it too. After she apologized for the inconvenience she closed our chat before I could respond. And completely closed my account with Lexington Law. If that's not fishy I don't know what would be. I do not recommend even starting a conversation with this company.

I signed up with this company in May of 2014. I found out about this company from Creditkarma.com. By July of 2014 my credit score had gone up from 507 to 662. I found myself in an emergency where I needed to get financed for a vehicle. I went to the car dealership and they ran my credit... NONE of the "Removals" they had removed or improvements showed up on when they ran my credit at the dealership. All my negative items were still there. I called the company to try and close my account and they persuaded me to just put the account on hold and they would only work partially on my account. I have called numerous times to get in touch with someone who could explain to me why their websites shows removals and my score is up on Creditkarma.com but not when my credit gets pulled at the dealership and no one can give me an answer. I am put on hold for a very long time. I am starting to regret my decision of using this company to help me fix my credit.

I signed up with this company in April of 2014 and understood the high cost associated with the service that was expected, key word expected. Fine I paid and had no issues but then realized that all this company does is blindly challenge items on your credit report 1 or 2 items at a time so that they can continue charging you for their service every month, something anyone can do on their own so I called and canceled. After a week or so I was charged again, I called again and a rep stated that there was no notation of cancellation... Huh? Ok so now I'm pissed, I asked the rep to close my case immediately. She claimed she did and would be sending a confirmation email, still waiting on that email btw.

I immediately canceled that card with my bank preventing future charges from these crooks. After a month or so of no Lexington Law charges. I received a new charge on my new card from LL in the amount $99!! How is this possible? Well my account was still not closed/canceled and to add insult to injury LL petitioned Mastercard to provide them with my new card info to which I was charged an additional month of service. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. IT'S A SCAM. THERE IS NO CLEAR-CUT CANCELLATION.
