    United Medicare Advisors contacted me regarding other Medicare supplement plan Gs that might save my wife and me $. They submitted applications to another insurer w our checking account information ... coverage to begin in 2 weeks. The other insurer accepted my wife's application in 3 days, promptly withdrew $156 from our checking account, but declined my application. We decided to stay with our current insurer. I contacted the other insurer to obtain a refund for the $156. They explained that it would take 6 weeks.

    The application completed/submitted by United Medicare Advisors had a checkbox that gave the insurer the right to withdraw $ from our checking account. This was not shared by them. I naturally assumed that we would be asked for our final approval after our applications had been approved before committing to the new insurer and granting them approval to withdraw $ from our checking account. Our later research confirmed that we could submit our own on-line applications to insurers for even better discounts.

    I signed up for benefits with United Medicare Advisors in 2020. They were amazing. They went over my medical history, medications and my what was important to me as far as my expectations from my benefits. Everything was seamless and I have been very satisfied. They contact me annually to go over everything with me. This year they did sign me up through another medigap carrier while keeping the same Plan G to save me a substantial amount on my monthly premium. I am signed up through their portal, receive newsletters regularly that contain helpful information and received a business card from the new agent that was assigned to me. They have been an excellent company for me to do business with. I have never had issues that some reviewers have had. I would highly recommend them to assist someone to navigate the Medicare system.

      Happen to find out when called ** to cancel my Advantage plan that there was NO prescription supplement in Supplement Plan that I was enrolled in. So insufficient & misleading. When cancelled today, told I'll be billed until March 26. Very unsatisfied.

      This company is great when you first call them. Very helpful in obtaining the right Medicare insurance for your needs. However if there are problems or delays in getting the coverage, it is impossible to get anyone to call you back. We left multiple messages and they were never returned. My husband also never got portal email, so he can not access his account with the company.

      Having been misguided and given incorrect and confusing information time and time again, it was amazing to speak with Leanna ** today. Leanna spoke to me like a human being and made sense of the Medicare roller coaster, so I now have a clear perspective of what is available and what is needed. Leanna clearly and patiently explained the differences in the plans, so I was able to make an informed decision based on my real needs. Highly recommended!!

      I have been in contact with United Medicare Advisers since November attempting to finalize my application with Healthspring (Cigna). My contact there was Tyson. I went through the prequalification with Tyson and was told by him that I had passed underwriting and that Healthspring was running behind on their application approvals. However when I looked on the UMA website they had no record of my application. Tyson didn't know why that was the case but he assured me it was just pending final approval. The Healthspring site has no record of me so, as far as I know, I have no insurance. I had insurance with United Healthcare until Dec 31 when Medicare notified them that I was canceling my coverage with them. Keep in mind that this process has been going on since November of last year. I would not recommend United Medicare Advisors or Healthspring.

      We are in the process of getting our supplemental insurance. There was a mistake made and my husband cannot log in. Not sure if it is Cigna Issue or the advisers mistake. I have called and e-mailed for over a week. NO return call or e-mail. I am trying to get in touch with someone else, but my call keeps going to her extension. I am sorry currently we came to you. Please tell me who to call so I can talk to a real person and get some answers.

      Agent was snarky and rude. Answered my questions with questions. I have talked to college boys with better communication skills. When you call, you are immediately asked personal information, but no details are given about the company who claims you requested information regarding Medicare benefits. I never made any such requests.

      Mason ** a sales agent with United Medicare Advisors approached us on June 11th 2025 to sell us Medicare supplemental plans. Once we get enrolled in Medicare, he requested our banking info to when we effectively commence Medicare and supplemental insurance for my wife on July 21st 3025 and myself on Aug. 6th 2025; we had sent Mason repeated requests to cancel those arrangements till we actually get enrolled with Medicare as we currently enrolled with Ambetter superior health care and sent him proof of such; my wife never been approved for Medicare and I got accepted for Medicare on Oct. 1st 2025;

      We came to find out United Medicare sales agent had acted without our consent and/ or knowledge been charging our account since June till Oct 2025, total 5 months charging us total $760.67 for services we never requested and/or received. Upon calling to file complaint, a sales agent with united Medicare advisors was very rude stating you need to deal with insurance companies!       I see all the negative reviews so I feel that I need to comment from years of experience with Medicare Advisors. I have had nothing but excellent results with them. I have only used them to purchase supplemental insurance and am very pleased. Every year they help me find the most affordable plan in my area. The process is always simple. For drug and dental insurance I compare plans myself and do it all on line. Easy peasy if you know how to use a computer. KathleenJ
