Just like all the other reviews I have had an awful experience with Simply Business. I have been trying to cancel my policy for weeks now and they refuse to answer emails and the only way to cancel the Policy is to call them but I have been on hold with them for hours multiple times and could not reach anyone. Pure scam company, do not use them.

Predatory insurance broker. Do yourself a favor and stay far away. They will start you off for first year or two with low cost coverage then comes an increase of 300%. Then as a predator, they will automatically renew even when you cancel your policy. You will need to report your credit card stolen and get another to keep them from ripping you off.

Terrible trying to contact them to cancel policy. Told had to go online but then online would direct me to call. I have been on hold for over 2 hours and have previously requested a callback which never happens. Terrible customer service.

Terrible terrible customer service. Been with them for years. They got the suite # on my policy wrong (previous/old suite #). They are not thorough. Have been on the phone for hours, multiple days, all different times of days. No humans to be found. Once they swipe your money…you will never reach a human to fix a small issue like changing my suite #. Do yourself a favor…Don't waste your time with this crap 💩 customer service company.

They sold my small business a general liability insurance but when I ask multiple times for them to add a manufacturer on the list of covered names (a very common and simple request) they never even responded to my multiple email requests. Providing no support service once the sale is done and not even the courtesy of an email response is just not bad customer service, it is no customer service.

Terrible company. You can’t accomplish anything on their website, so you have to call them. Be prepared to wait an hour or more on the phone to speak to anyone each time you do. They charge fees for cancellations, and don’t issue refunds for the unused portion of cancelled policies. In short, they are thieves. I’m glad to be done with Simply Business and will never go back.

I have been on hold for a combined 112 minutes. I have sent several emails and I am on day 4 of attempting to cancel my insurance. Cancel my insurance! Ticket number **. Simply Business increased premiums by 20% after I completed my first year. I recommend doing business elsewhere.

This company is a scam. Please stay away. They don't process cancellation requests and issue refunds from your deposits to your current credit card. They force you to keep your account active all the time and pay them forever.

I called Simply Business because I needed some information and they responded right away and took care of it. Everything was good.

They've always been a great help in a questions or concerns I may have, concerning my insurance or anything that my knowledge is lacking. Top notch and great listeners. I've got off track talking about life and the lady on the other end was gracious and helpful to assistant my needs and this included hearing me vent. Top notch to day the least.

The rates were lower than the others. I did everything online so the overall experience was simple. It broke everything down for me step by step. Walked me through everything and that was it. It was a quick process and the rates are wonderful. I was extremely satisfied.

I went online and the options from Simply Business were good. I liked their price. I paid for the policy and have done absolutely nothing, and probably never will.

Speaking with the rep over the phone was nice, easy and straightforward. We specialize in power washing and spot washing, and we’re in our first month with Simply Business. And I haven't had any issues or problems.

The process was easy. But the only problem is how much you make a year. That's the only thing that you can put on there because it's not accurate. They would ask how much you are making yearly and if you put the wrong thing, they're gonna go off that. All those times that you get jobs and you don’t have jobs, so you never know how much you're gonna make. But they're good people.

I had a fine experience with them. I like that they didn't require me to have a couple of years of the business being open in order to get insurance through them as qualifications. The representative I spoke with was also very good.

Simply Business’ recommendations were good. When I went online and researched the different insurance companies, Hiscox was the particular one I wanted. So, it was fine. I was very satisfied with the service.

The rep from Simply Business was fantastic. I liked his attention to detail and he consistently kept in touch and communicated to make sure that we were on the same page. This was my first time venturing out to do my own thing. So, I didn't know exactly what I needed. I left that up in his hands. He told me what the options were and made a recommendation. He also told me why he made that recommendation and where I could do my own research. I did and he was correct. So, I went with it.

Simply Business was easy to do. The customer service was great. There was something I didn't like in the factor of the coverage. I have a barbershop, so I have barbers that work under me and if they don't have insurance on their own property, then I cover it under my insurance, and it's kind of confusing because what if somebody breaks into my barbershop and steals their stuff as well. The rep didn't elaborate much about it because it got kind of busy when I was asking questions. Other than that, I haven't had any issues at all right now.

Navigating through the Simply Business website wasn't too hard. I clicked on the website a little bit and did a little background. I called them and they explained everything. Also, they were the most affordable option.

I spoke with somebody because I was curious as to whether I could add on to the same policy or if I had to have a separate policy. I had to have a separate one but it was easy.

Working with Simply Business is really simple. Some of the other companies were asking a lot of questions and so much stuff. I was like, “How am I supposed to know these things?” I looked up Simply Business' information and I was like, “Okay, this is what I'm talking about.” When you're a business owner and you're trying to open, you don't have time to be doing deep investigations into the dimensions of the building and stuff.

I called them and then they gave me the rate. It was way more cheaper than the other quotes I got from a local agency. It was like three times cheaper. Their guy gave me a killer deal. I missed a payment and they canceled it, and then I ended up calling them again. I didn't even know it got canceled. I got a new card and I forgot that I had to switch the card numbers over. They gave me a cheaper deal than they gave me the first time. So, I liked them for that. It was nice to get it for even cheaper. Saving money is always a good thing.

The rep was very knowledgeable and provided me with all the information I needed. Anytime I've had an issue or needed a document, I would email them or call and they would reply within the next day or two. Simply Business has always been good to me. They treat me well and I've been very happy with my experience with them.
