We returned from a week-long trip to find that someone had broken into my car and stolen several items. I filed a claim with Lemonade through the app. It was super simple. Sasha responded immediately and helped me step-by-step with the process. She was very welcoming and understanding of my situation. Sasha is such an amazing human being! She exceeded my expectations. I have heard stories of other people filing claims and the insurance companies dragging their feet or making it harder for you to file your claim. Lemonade and Sasha made the process so seamless and very pleasant. I truly felt that Sasha had my back 100%! I can't say enough good things about Sasha and the help she provided. Lemonade got it right! Hire more people like Sasha and give her a promotion!

On a nice weekend, I hung out with my friends. I went there with my bike. Despite the odds of the security camera and building concierge, bike accessories were stolen. Luckily, Lemonade was there to support me, and my claim promptly been approved! Great service and satisfactory results!

The app is easy to use and my rates are low even with 30K of coverage. Lemonade puts your insurance on autopilot, would recommend 10/10.

To set up and resolve a claim, the company provides a very use interface both on mobile and desktop computer. Entire claim resolution staff is supportive and friendly throughout the experience, and upon approval the payment calculations and process are very clear. I was displaced from my home with my infant due to water damage and the entire Lemonade team showed actual care and helped me through a daunting time. After my house was robbed, I submitted a claim with Lemonade. I submitted proof of purchase of all items stolen, as well as a police report of the incident. Within 2 weeks my claim was settled and I was reimbursed the replacement value of the stolen items. Excellent customer service!

Hey all, I lost everything when someone stole my entire Uhaul when I was moving across the country. I was devastated and was keeping my fingers crossed that Lemonade would work out and I would get my full policy to allow myself to take the steps in rebuilding my life. The whole process of applying for renter's insurance was very easy with Lemonade. When I had a broken glass shower door, I was able to easily report it and get it claimed for the full amount. I love how Erin was really helpful and fast to reach me at the beginning but it took way too long for them to take action, I had to escalate my case for any action to take place after sending all my information they requested a the beginning.

My phone was stolen on a Friday. I filed a police report Saturday morning and was told an officer would call me soon to complete the report. I waited 2 days and still nothing. I called Lemonade support who informed me they understand police reports tend to be backed up in bigger cities and to file my claim with the police report service request #. Perfect! I filed the claim and was emailed shortly after by Claudia who told me she would be handling my claim moving forward and was available by email at any time. Great business to customer communication.

No one likes to find their things stolen, especially when they took every measure to lock property up securely. Where there is a will there is a way, and a thief made off with my bicycle. Lemonade made the experience far less painful. The claim processed in seconds. I appreciated how easy the process was.

As soon as I had my supporting documents in hand and sent over, Ricardo on the Lemonade team made things super simple. I was also pleasantly surprised how quickly things were settled and no negotiating necessary!!

Having a fire evacuation is not a ideal Sunday morning, it was cold and unpleasant in winter. I could not go back home at night because the power of my apartment was out. When I claimed a fire event, Lemonade called back immediately and Carly helped me go through the whole process and made me less worry. And, I got the reimbursement in few days.

Loved how quickly Lemonade received my claim, assessed it and settled it. The step-by-step process in the app is just easy, smooth and hassle-free. Have been using them for almost 3 yrs now - most of all, love the vibe of the app, their service and their mission.

It took a lot longer than expected, but it got done. I was left in the dark quite a bit which was frustrating. One last thing, I had mentioned that the correct amount was on the police report and I had entered a number wrong on the claim but it was not fixed or ignored.

This was the second time I submitted for a claim. First one was never completed as the process was for some reason not handled by a processor. Eventually I gave up and let it go. This recent claim was handled quickly and easily. With all the proper documentation provided he completed claim within 24hours and I just received a direct deposit for the amount of the item covered. Relieved and satisfied.

I will admit, the payout timing on the payment can be a little frustrating...but the end is well worth the wait. The staff are all super friendly and nice and they do always respond. So, the cost and the overall process very well worth the wait and the service is exceptional.

I recently had a bike stolen in Denver Colorado. It was at outside on a busy street locked up, I was away for an hour and when I came out it was gone. I contacted Lemonade and they paid out a very reasonable and nice price for the stolen bike itself. I was very happy with the process, it was easy and all done through the app. One problem I did have is that when I got a new much more expensive bike and tried to add it to my insurance they wouldn’t allow since I had a prior claim with bikes? I thought that was the point of insurance but oh well. Anyways I still use Lemonade because it is so quick easy and efficient. Highly recommend.

At the end of January 2022, one of the exterior walls of my apartment building collapsed suddenly. This wall was directly behind my apartment and the collapse also damaged the wall that was against the side of my apartment. The collapse ripped all the power meters off the wall causing the entire building to lose power! Luckily, no one was injured. I immediately called Lemonade to ask what my options were. The app didn't have an option for this type of claim, however, the agents I spoke with on the phone were extremely sympathetic, took the matter seriously, and immediately got to work on helping me figure out what my policy would and would not cover.

Lemonade insurance was very easy to set up initially only taking a few minutes. They have been very responsive when I needed advice and help. Unfortunately, when I had to file a claim they were immediately helping me get help, advice, and resolution in less than 24 hours which is truly remarkable.

I got Lemonade insurance because it was inexpensive and easy, never expecting to have to use it. After a horrible event that significantly damaged my apartment and belongings I was blown away at the empathy, competency, and speed with which my Lemonade team acted. I have told as many people as I can to sign up and do truly recommend them!

I must say when thieves broke into my car Lemonade the claim process so easy. It took less than 10 minutes to receive a decision, thanks to their artificial intelligence system. A police report and my proofs of purchase was all that was needed to get the things replaced that were stolen. I have used Lemonade for at least the last 2 years. It covered my mandatory apt renter insurance and I suggest them to all of my friends. Definitely millennial-friendly.

This afternoon I was forced to watch as a man who’d broken into my apartment ride off with my bike. I’d spent a lot of money on that bike and it’s how I spend a lot of time with my friends. Not only did it suck to see it go, but for how much a nice bike costs it would have been extremely expensive to replace. However, making a claim on Lemonade made me feel a lot better. It took maybe 5 or 10 minutes to put in the police report number, info about the bike, the receipt from buying it, and it was an easily guided experience in the apps great UI. Maybe a second or two after finishing my claim I’d already received a message that it was approved and I would receive the vast majority of the cost of the bike back from Lemonade. Thanks, saved my day, and a lot of my money. :)

Carly really helped me through this process. Losing my watch was a terrible experience but Carly and the Lemonade team really saved the day. I appreciate how kind the team was on the phone and via email. The process was streamlined, efficient, and easy to manage. I will recommend Lemonade to all my colleagues.

It was very quick and easy to file a claim! The only thing I dislike is the higher options for deductibles. For renters insurance you'd think the deductibles would be lower options since there would be more small claims. I've paid half as much in premiums over my time with Lemonade but they don't have any bearing on the deductible which really eats into small claims and essentially makes the insurance worthless for lost or stolen items that are worth smaller amounts.

My home was recently broken into and I was also experiencing Identity Thief and hackers hacking into all our devices, you name they were there and it had been going on for months; and finally we came home and most of our electronics system were stolen, and if not it had been damaged. Ultimately The policy covered me for a loss of use of my kitchen which was very helpful because I couldn’t cook for myself or my family for three months. I was reimbursed for the difference between my normal grocery costs and what I had to spend being without access to my kitchen.

Had to submit a claim after my brother (ensured) crashed his expensive road bike. The team in Lemonade were incredible, the process was smooth and they honored the insurance policy to the dot. Got the value of the bike back with no deductible (the bike had extra coverage). Who would have thought an extra few dollars a month would give back thousands!

So back in January my home had a random violent home intruder that busted through my window and wobbled through my home. This mind you sounds simple but for an hour before that he had been causing a violent scene outside. So upon him breaching my home he destroyed a lot of property. I never had been through this before but Lemonade and specifically Lauren helped me understand it. Although it took a little longer than I had wanted it wasn’t an unreasonable wait time. So 34 days later all was said and done and I gotta say Lemonade and its friendly and personable staff really came through and now I have my claim money and can move forward leaving that night in the past. If you don’t have renters insurance, get it, but get it with Lemonade.

Using universal templates for filing claims are generally a good idea since they will capture many shared components required for filing a claim. This process was pretty smooth and Erin did a great job assisting me throughout the process however, the only issue that kept arising was that I was unable to file a police report online due to some prerequisite for my city and was repeatedly asked to go to the police station to file a report in person after informing them that I was not comfortable to do so due to the current COVID outbreak. I would suggest alternatives to be presented as a customer to make this process better.

He did an excellent job of actually looking into detail when my case was initially denied. After speaking to him he realized that my level of coverage did in fact cover lightning damage and there were several thunderstorms the week I filed my claim. My outlet quite literally blew up and there was no doubt only lightning would cause that kind of damage.

Upon renting my unit I obtained a contract with Lemonade for $7.00 per month. After several years and a landlord who repaired nothing, my toilet started leaking. I attempted to fix it, I reported it several times. The person in charge refused to have the leak repaired and said they wanted to level the house first. I woke up one day there was a bunch of men at my bedroom window. I looked at them thru my blinds, then went out to ask why they were there. They told me they were there to level the house. That night the house interior started to split open the ceiling above my bed opened I could see the metal roof that covered the house. The adjoining unit had a 5 inch gap in the wall. I called Lemonade and asked them what to do. They moved me into a hotel and reimbursed my account as agreed. They paid for the movers to move my property out of my unit into storage.

Fast and professional support. It required a bit of follow up but at the end the service was great and the experience. The whole process from claim date to refund took roughly one month from January 12 to February 10 approximately. I already recommended this service to a friend!

My thief incident happened in Las Vegas however my rental insurance was active in Chicago - I was worried I didn't have coverage. Losing important/memorable belongings is very stressful, however my experience with this team has been such a relief and extremely efficient. Kept getting shifted around, using renters insurance and the landlords homeowners insurance when they refused to speak to each other were awful. Used my renters insurance, supposedly used all of what was available, and still had to be in my house for 2 months without working bathrooms.
