I did not get the proper payment for my items that was damaged. I feel like I'm paying for nothing. One pair of shoes was the only thing that was accommodated. I sent pictures and receipts for all items and the items were bought this year. This insurance is a rip off.

Almost a year ago, I was hit with a fire and lost everything in my apartment. The claims agents for Lemonade stepped in and help me with everything. They even helped with making the list as I was very lost at the time trying to put the pieces back together. When came to the payout, it came within days. This was very helpful. Let me say this, I am almost 50 years old, and have been dealing with insurance companies for almost 32 years. Lemonade is A-1. These guys rock! Fast, efficient, patient and really care. Julie, is great! I did not like the first adjuster. He was not empathetic and told me it’s not a vacation and Julie was sweet, empathetic and knew this definitely was a nightmare not anyone’s dream vacation. She was fair but, sometimes needed your help in researching info. She was a 10. Be your own advocate. Know hotel prices, know the values of your items claiming as a loss, take your own pictures because their adjuster took many pictures irrelevant.

I would like to recognize claims adjuster Ricardo for providing outstanding customer service and assistance to me! Ricardo went above and beyond with helping get my claim processed after some things were stolen from my apartment. I really appreciate him being patient with me as though some days I was really frustrated. I’m so thankful for the agents as well at Lemonade Insurance because they provide outstanding service!

I submitted a renter's insurance claim with Lemonade after an accident occurred at my apartment. I was assigned to Juli as my Claim Advocate. Juli and everyone I spoke to on the phone at Lemonade were friendly and helpful. My Claim Advocate, Juli always responded to my emails the same day or within 1 day. She was professional, clear and organized. Juli's communication made me feel comfortable to ask questions about my policy and coverage. I have been having an overall good experience with Lemonade services. Everyone is so helpful, just sometimes it takes a little bit to reach them, but they’re very good with costumer service. I filed a claim and the process has been super easy and always guiding me through the whole thing.

Ali was great, I appreciated her help! Only complaint is obviously my reimbursement amount since the laptop was worth almost $2,000 and I was only reimbursed $1200 after my deductible. Like I said, Ali was great, I'm satisfied with how quickly the reimbursement was processed, however, I'm still having to come out of pocket for money I not really have as a law student.

I am so happy and impressed with this company. When I say they strive for greatness...it's an understatement. I was dealing with a flood in my kitchen unfortunately and was set up with a member of their claims team namely Jyn. Jyn was the real deal. She made me feel at ease immediately, she guided me through EVERYTHING, she would even work days she was off and on vacation. I mean just unbelievable. She was able to get me set up before I knew it. I can't even say how happy I am with her and how things turned out, she was always upbeat and professional and polite, answered every question I had. They really strive for greatness, every member I spoke with just made me feel heard and appreciated, which is something many companies have forgotten. I would recommend this company over and over.

Lemonade was very helpful at first, but I'm pretty sure we did not come close to the budget they are saying we did and now we are being told that you guys can't help anymore. At the time we really need it most urgently they ignored my calls and emails. I am dissatisfied and will not recommend this company to nobody.

This was my first claim experience with Lemonade. It was pretty easy and Emily was especially helpful (though there were several people that helped me when she was out). The only issue was trying to get a repair estimate when there are no local repair shops near me, but that was a minor issue. Overall I would recommend Lemonade.

I had a great experience using the Lemonade app to file a claim. It was fast, easy, and made me feel taken care of as a consumer. With this being said it could be an even more seamless process. The AI frequently got my information incorrect and I had to go back and edit critical information. It also didn't let me edit past the last step I had completed, which makes it so you have to start all over again if you want to edit something early on in the claims process. I kept wondering if I could change this at some point and held out for a review claim screen at the end. It came and once again I couldn't edit information that I wanted to change without starting the whole process over again. Talk about a headache and it definitely added stress to the experience. I love your product for sure, but these small tweaks could definitely enhance the user experience. Feel free to reach out if you want more detail!

I've never had to file a claim before and had a very interesting issue caused by my building that wasn't clear at first if I should even file a claim, but Thalia and the Lemonade team made the process direct and were very helpful in helping me find temporary accommodations when work was being completed.

My claim was resolved eventually, but the waiting time was very long and there was no assistance when I needed to book accommodations. Agents were helpful in assisting me with filing the claim. I was told by the agent helping me file that Lemonade could book accommodations for me since my rental unit was not habitable due to the damages. But I didn't hear anything from my agent until the unit was fixed so there was no help with the accommodations.

A washing machine had leaked two floors above me and my property management team never informed me of the leak. As a result, I thought the water had come from ground water and several of items were damaged such as my iPad. My policy didn't cover ground water and I didn't know that until the claims department told me on the phone. Despite this, they contacted the property manager to double check and it had actually come from another apartment. The team was quick to help and was transparent about the process all the way through.

For the first time in my life did it feel like an insurance company actually cared about me and actually cared about the facts. Rich was my contact and adjuster at Lemonade and he was awesome. Even when he was ill and out of the office he responded to my requests and did everything to make my life easier and help me recover my losses. Lemonade is changing the way insurance is done. My bike was stolen and I initiated a claim on the Lemonade mobile app. I was hoping that I could enter the information on my desktop, but the app was nice because I could take pictures of my documents (like receipts). The claim was approved quickly and I saw the funds in my bank account the next day. Though I initiated my claim through a mobile app which collected information automatically, my contact with their agents over email was smooth, too. They were quick to schedule calls and reply to emails. Overall, I am very pleased with how smooth this went.

I received a response quickly from my claim. The only part with submitting my claim was I had to wait to upload pictures when I received an email because there wasn’t an option to upload pictures just to take it at the same time I was entering my claim. The experience with the Shad was pleasant.

I have Lemonade Insurance for when the worst happens. Unfortunately, recently something quite bad happened (don't give your keys to ANYONE unless they live with you btw. It's questionable even in that case honestly). Lemonade responded swiftly and I was able to replace the most important of my damaged possessions, since the less expensive items weren't worth quite as much as my deductible. Overall, given how stressed out I was, I would say it was a very pleasant experience. I understand they have to gather all of the evidence to make sure it is a legit claim. However, other than that a very streamlined process and my claim was approved in 5 seconds!

I really like how simple the setup process was, and it seemed really easy to add other coverage too. Great clarity about what is and isn't covered, conveyed in an easy-to-understand way. Lemonade's $10 a month price seems convenient as well (though to be honest I have not looked at/experienced any other renter's insurance offers so I have no idea how this price or service compares), and it just felt like adding another subscription like Spotify or something.

I was just started to think lowering my coverage. Things happen in life and I can't be more glad I kept my coverage. Claudia was super kind, respectful and, all the claim process only took 2-3days. I was expecting some hassles but there were none. Helpful, kind, reliable, worth every penny I put in for last couple of years and for next mores to come.

Submitting the initial claim was easy on the Lemonade app, however it would have been nice to have the option to add videos later after submitting the claim. With the current setup, you can't submit a claim without filming the damage, which is inconvenient if you're not on-location. Once I got the videos recorded and documented my Lemonade liaison, Bobbe, got in touch later that day to discuss details in the claim process. Everything we discussed on the phone was also provided in a follow-up email, which was very helpful. Bobbe got in touch with my building manager so I didn't have to act as a go-between. After that, it was just a matter of photographing damage to my claim items. Bobbe shared a spreadsheet to fill out, and I just sent that back to him and waited for the claim to be accepted. Bobbe stayed in touch throughout the waiting period to keep me in the loop, and was professional throughout.

This company should be shutdown. We fully cooperated and followed all their steps successfully when filing our claim. They turned around and approved not even 50% of of claim with their entire reasoning being that they supposedly asked for additional documentation, WHICH IS NOT TRUE. We provided photos and receipts for everything submitted. Scam artists!!!! I’m submitting a review to the Better Business Bureau as well.

I transferred the contents of the company car to my personal car, and then it got stolen. The flood was brutal. It lasted from 11PM to 7AM the next morning and NO ONE from my building at **, ran by Carlyle Property Management lifted a finger to help. No one helped while the apartment was flooding for Carlyle, no one has helped since the water has abated, and it is now over two weeks later.

I wasn't impressed with how I was treated in regards to my claims. I didn't get the feedback the follow-up that is necessary to understand the process of how to deal with this claim. I felt as though I was begging for reimbursements that I paid into for this insurance and up to now it's been ghostly situation.
