I took a while to process but the overall experience from the team was amazing. I just received my payment after processing. My payment came overnight and thank you. The team was amazing at the end but we got it done.

My experience with Lemonade and their team has been nothing but phenomenal. I must give a big shout out and thank you to Sasha **. She made this process so much easier for me and was amazing at communicating with me whether it be in regards to documentation/information she needed from my end or to update me on where we were with everything and what else needed to be done in order to finalize. She really made me feel like she was on my side and that helping me was a priority. It was clear that was doing absolutely everything to help me put this traumatic and unfortunate situation behind me as soon as possible. Lemonade compensated me for all of my stolen property that I claimed and I am very thankful as this helps me out a ton. John was great! He work on a case I opened while I was forced to evacuate my home due to the Caldor fire. It was my first time dealing with an insurance claim, so I wasn't sure how things would go. He provided enough information for me to understand what to do and it made the process easy! I ended up hearing back about two months later that my case had been approved for reimbursement of most of the emergency expenses. My overall experience was excellent and put my worries at ease.

I have had to make 2 claims with Lemonade in the past 3 months for living accommodations and stolen items and they have been excellent in getting the claim processed quickly and getting me reimbursed for my expenditures ASAP. For the cost of Lemonade vs other insurance companies, the quality and service can't be beat.

My phone was pickpocketed at a wedding in Mexico. Lemonade covered the theft of my phone and paid me within 2 days of filing. Crazy. Cost per month is average, the app is super easy to navigate, and the staff is extremely helpful. I love lemonade and will continue to share my experience with all of my friends.

My experience with Benjamin was really he keep me updated through the whole process with the whole situation being bad. Under the circumstances he made it easy for me to deal with the situation. If anything like this should happen again unfortunately I hope to work with him

I was very skeptical because insurance companies are never great, but Lemonade really is an exception. While at first I thought the tech-forward approach was going to be annoying, it's actually very convenient. It was easy to select a plan, it's easy to add or remove coverage, easy to message agents, and they respond very, very quickly with real people. Had my first claim recently and filing it was so easy. Then the follow up was immediate, and the coverage was approved and funded within 48 hours. Honestly, is this company for real? I'm going to sound like an ad saying this, but finally an insurance company that seems to care.

The Lemonade app made it so easy to file a claim for my stolen bike. Within 1 hour of finding out my bike had been stolen and filing a police report, I had an approved claim. It never feels good to have your property stolen, but I was glad I had Lemonade insurance to make filing a claim simple and straightforward.

It was a different experience, by doing everything over the phone and emails as point of contact. But overall my claims representative was patient and helped when asked.. I have recommended Lemonade to some college students that live off campus...

So I had a couple of boxes of stuff get ripped off, which if you’ve not had happen yourself very much sucks. Given the circumstances involved (didn’t happen at my home and wasn’t even my car) my initial thoughts were that basically I’m screwed, police reports don’t often result in getting your stuff back. Didn’t want to lose the stuff but also didn’t really see it being worth twice, so when I remembered your stuff is covered anywhere (almost) I got together what receipts I had and pictures etc; I really didn’t prepare for anything like this and figured it was still a long shot but what did I have to lose and filed my claim.

Our apartment building was hit last month. Several cars had their belongings stolen, my office was hit as well. I am so Thankful Lemonade had my back. Their claim adjuster Jose has communicated with me during the entire process. (Which was very quick if I may add). Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Lemonade for making this whole ordeal, better!

I had quick turnaround covering my Loss of Use and Personal Items that are damaged. Thalia quickly responded as soon as I submitted my proofs. I wish the app can be made better, as I was using laptop to submit and assimilate all the proofs and damage count. I'm still looking for guidance on Loss of Use as my unit is still not repaired yet. I couldn't be more pleased with how Erin of the Lemonade Claims Team handled my claim. My bike, which I recently purchased, was stolen from my locked storage unit, after the intruder broke into the building. In many ways, my stolen bike was a one-of-a-kind. Moreover, based on the recent surge in the popularity of road bikes, I was worried that my claim would not cover the cost of a genuine replacement. Working with Erin curbed that anxiety, as she came through through in so many ways, including getting me a reimbursement for what I felt is the current value of the bike. Now, I can appropriately replace it and put this horrible incident behind me.

Unfortunately my car was broken into but fortunately my stuff was replaced by Lemonade. Tamika did a wonderful job, was extremely responsive and listened to all the details of my case. They were even kind enough to waive the deductible. It took about a week but eventually I was able to receive compensation for my lost items.

At first the claims process was very foreign and sort of off putting until a claims adjuster reviewed my claim and began working it. After speaking with my adjuster and submitting the proper information to correct my initial mess the claim processed consistently until finished. So adjuster in my opinion went above and beyond where most people and companies cut and run without a care. I wasn't sure the exact cause of my substantial loss and when it turned out that initial suspension is wrong it was a great out for adjuster to use bit they didn't they worked with the proper to consistently to get claim paid. I would recommend this provider to anyone and will continue to use It far into the future.

Such a great company! Claim was approved in literally 4 seconds. My backpack and items were stolen over the weekend. I filed a police report and submitted my claim through Lemonade. Within 4 seconds my lemonade claim was approved! Thank you so much lemonade!!

This is the most happy experience I've had in my life working with a renters insurance (as well as their pet insurance). Lemonade has been only sweet and compassionate every time I had a claim. I had a break-in theft this year that left me emotionally scarred and financially took me back too. It was so hard because I was in the process of trying to straighten out my life and finances, it really broke my heart that people would steal from me like that. I hurt for the people who stole from me too. I wasn't emotionally well enough to even file a claim until 2+ months after the incident. Generally a solid experience. I'm not a fan of the tone of the automated intake bots, which feel insincere and pandering. Also, it was more difficult than necessary to access basic information about my claim, notably a breakdown of what was covered and at what rate. I had to send a separate request to get this information which should have been sent with the initial notice of resolution. Otherwise, not bad! Sixty-five days is not an unreasonable timeline for resolution at the moment, I appreciated the occasional messages confirming that my claim was still in processing (though again, more information would have been nice), and the ultimate resolution was within expectations.

Lemonade is the experience you’re looking for as an insurance customer. I only hope they can keep expanding. Using automation and behavioral science to save users money and not just maximize profits. Help people when they actually need it. And disincentivize false claims. Easily adjustable. I will certainly get their pet insurance when I get a pet, and would take advantage of car insurance or homeowners insurance if I own a home one day. Whatever it is the experience makes it all worth it.

I had to file a claim for a stolen bicycle just a month after starting my policy when I moved across the country to a new city. This was my first time with renters insurance and I fully expected to have a difficult experience trying to get reimbursed for my (expensive) bike and get a fair market price. I was surprised to find filing a claim was quite easy and fast. What surprised me even more is how attentive and well informed the persons handling my claim reimbursement were. They actually worked to get me a fair market value for my bike it being an older model that I bought used from a friend. They explained the entire process to me and were upfront about how everything would work and what was needed from me.

I had a wonderful experience aside from the fact that my car was stolen along with all my belongings. The filing was easy and just in general the whole process was super easy and quick. I am glad I had renters insurance to cover my things.

Lemonade has been one of the best services I've ever signed up for. It's incredibly easy to set up an account, and they gave me a super affordably month free. I finally (unfortunately) had to file a claim, but they made it absolutely effortless to file a claim and I was sent money very quickly! I'm very impressed, and Sara was an absolutely pleasure. She walked me through the steps and checked in regularly. I really appreciated it!

Everyone has been so helpful!!! Evacuation was so stressful but Lemonade made sure that I was taken care of and even sent money before I sent in receipts so that I could start paying for hotels and buy some clothes. I also got to speak to some within hours of submitting the claim and that made everything easier.

My case is complicated, since it is related to smell and fume. Although "harmful fume" is not covered, and the definition of "uncopiable space" has nothing to do with "harmful fume", Lemonade did look into the cause of the smell, and helped out cover the expense for hotel stay. Although it takes a long time to get to the result, I'm happy that I get some money back for the disaster that I had been through.

Wonderfully seamless and convenient experience filing a claim with (I think) the autobot agent. Built-in help options were helpful and easy to navigate. One suggestion is to add time estimate for going through the claim process module, so user has an idea before beginning.

It was great to receive a quick and hassle free disbursement after my bike was stolen. I highly recommend. However, since I built my bike myself, I was unable to insure it for what it was worth ~$2,000. Therefore it was covered under my standard coverage up to $1,000. After my deductible, I received $450, which is helpful, but unfortunately it won't be enough to replace my bicycle.

It was a very bad experience. The claims person was not clear on what is cover are not. And did not pay what I was claiming. At the end she tell me what I am going to take.. It was so bad I want to talk to supervisor and they did not call me back.. Every time I call her I hear kids and tell she that my case was not important at all. She rush me off the phone.. It was so bad I try to see what I can do about my case...it was a mess...

Lemonade's automated system was easy to use and unbelievably fast. I am very happy with my claim experience. It was really helpful that I could stop at any point and pick up where I left off. One thing I might suggest is adding a pop up or something when you do close out of the claim letting you know how many days after an incident you have to submit a claim.

I filed my claim on 2/18/2021 and it was not completed until 10/20/2021. I feel like I communicated and submitted documentation that should have allowed my claim to be completed prior to the date it was completed. I do understand that you had a lot of claims to process but 8 months is not acceptable. The email that shows the claim was approved has a processing time of 40 days which is incorrect.

My claim was fairly complicated; a sophisticated theft of a phone paid for through Paypal, handed over to the 'buyer' and then charge backed to me after a 10 day lull. Basically the thief got away with the phone and their bank was fighting to get his money back as well. I was, again, able to quickly get help from the team, provide a police report, and get the instance fully covered (no deductible due to the type of additional insurance). Their team is always friendly and goes the extra mile to make sure you are taken care of.

I never received payment for my Claim. I informed John of me not receiving and he refused to issue the payment again to the correct account. So basically I lost everything and John left me high and dry. He stopped replying to my emails and phone calls and refused to resolve the situation.

You can tell she enjoys helping clients during times of stress, I really appreciated that. One thing I think Lemonade could improve on is not restricting the claim process to a mobile phone. I understand this is convenient for some, but it can be cumbersome as well. Mobile phones have small screens and navigating through the process is not ideal.

I had my bike stolen and had to make a claim. The process was super easy. I had receipts and I also had the U-lock which was cut by the thief. Lemonade was sensitive and efficient. The police didn't follow up on my initial report so I had to go in person to make a second report. Lemonade would follow up every few days and ask, which prompted me to follow up with the police. I was allowed to add a few bike accessories as well which was nice. My policy is inexpensive and has comprehensive coverage. I will definitely stick with them. I can't say enough great things about Lemonade and highly recommend this company.
