Great and prompt help from the time the claim started until it was completed. I had doubt that it will be a long process, but to my surprise it was that short. I made the right choice by choosing Lemonade as my renter insurance.

My experience was great, fast and painless processing for my stolen items during travel. My carry on and bag were stolen from a rental car, which was broken into. I submitted the police report and some of the receipts I had from the stolen items. Took 1-2 weeks or so and my claim was processed.

The claim was incredibly quick (12 days and money back in one day). As long as you have all your receipts and contact information, the process is incredibly quick and easy. Adam was great; I gave everything they asked for, and then I was able to get my money for my damage items with no problems.

I had a flooding incident apartment in my home where both of my bathtubs flooded and water flooded into my bedroom and the living room. My $800+ rug got ruined from the gross water but Zach from Lemonade got it taken care of very quickly and efficiently! It was very straightforward with basic questions, info and a recording of what happened and I got my claim settled very quickly without a hassle. I recommend this insurance to all renters out there!

Jose was fast and responsive. The claim process was simple. It was a stressful situation to come out to my friend’s car and realize that someone attempted to steal my friend’s car and we had driven together the night before. I left my backpack in her vehicle and it had all of my belongings. Jose helped me get through this painlessly and I didn’t realize that it would even be possible to have my items replaced. My initial claim I tried to do months ago before I went out of the country for a month and the holidays kicked in, was a bit annoying. I was emailing my receipt to the email and the app couldn't ever register it. I had tried several times and I just couldn't get past that part in the app and since it took so long for my original Lemonade assistant to get back to me, my claim was deleted/reset.

I had my laptop stolen while traveling, and filing a claim with Lemonade through my renter's policy was incredibly smooth. They did a very efficient job processing my claim and getting me funds to purchase a new computer so I can get back to work!

Lemonade is re-framing the entire insurance experience. I absolutely love this company. This review here is specific to a claim I placed - and if Katy's real last name is **, she is TOTALLY living up to it. Katy was patient and skilled throughout my claim process, and her communication was superb. She took the extra steps to always make sure that her communication was thoughtful and that she genuinely was an advocate. In my opinion, the best kind of insurance is (1) invisible when you don't need it - and Lemonade truly feels like it...and (2) the opposite when you need to file a claim. All the money that Lemonade competitors pay to advertise how great and caring they are, only to always show their true colors when it's time to support the customer.

Lemonade Renters Insurance rocks. Stephanie and Stephanie my claim adjusters that I have two claims in less than a month jumped on it, took care of it and got it down. I wish that I can say that it was over but there was other issues that lemonade just wasn't allowed to help with but I know they could have they would have. Lemonade is always had my back when things got tough or how Scott broke into. This isn't the first time I've dealt with the claims department. I've never had issues with any of the claim adjusters. They've always been very helpful and I would definitely recommend them to anybody for renters insurance or any other. I'm actually getting ready to get my dog Zeto insurance through lemonade as soon as all settles down and my life is cuz I went back to normal.

Exceptional help from Stephanie. Stephanie took over my claim and was polite and respectful at all times. She was very busy but made sure I was taken care of. She is a wonderful representative of the Lemonade team and made my situation a lil easier.

I contacted Lemonade regarding how to start a claim at the request of my Landlords after a hot water heater in the place broke and leaked water everywhere. Thalia contacted me back via email to start the process, I had a lot of questions because I had no idea how this all worked. She was helpful, responsive and super patient with all my questions. I wasn't sure how to do this all via email online without being able to speak to someone but she assured me it was an easy process. It was and they took care of a partial claim before the process has even finished. Wonderful and great communication.

I will start this review with the fact that Nils, supervisor in claims, is a total pro and exceptional at what he does and I hope he knows I said that. Now, that said, I could not be more disappointed with my experience with this claim. My adjuster was rude, didn’t explain things well (which led me to speaking to Nils on a couple occasions), and I feel burned on my payout.

Troy was very helpful and fast at getting my claim done fast an accurate he answer all my questions and issues I had very professional and yes I already recommend Lemonade insurance to my sister and friends. Thank you again for helping me.

Lemonade Insurance and my/their helpful agent Devan made things quite effortless in my time of need. I love my city but unfortunately Chicago has been experiencing lots of carjacking and overall violence & theft that I never thought I’d fall victim too. Devan made things really stress free considering the loss of my precious belongings. I rate them ten stars out of five.

My overall experience was okay (would give a 3.5 star, but rounded up). I made a claim back at the end of Oct'21. The claim portion was fairly easy for the most part, my only frustration was I had a lot of questions as to how the whole process works. I feel like they would have been answered clearly if I got to speak with an actual human. The frustrating part was the lack of communication once the claim was submitted. I only received two emails of the course of two months both saying my claim was still in review. It wasn't until I actually reach out myself to inquire about what was going on and got Christy, did I get good service. Once I connected with her, everything went very smoothly and fast. She let me know everything I needed and how to send. It sucks because this case could have been closed awhile ago, but I am glad I was able to finally get someone to help and they were good at their jobs!

First I'd like to mention that I'm not an easy person to deal with when I am upset. I sometimes feel that everybody is out to get me and for a moment I put Katy in those shoes. Katy made it exceptionally easy to deal with. She reached out by phone and explained the claims process as well as set expectations. Overall, I am satisfied with the outcome of the claim and turned out much better than I had hoped for. These speaks for both Katy, and Lemonade as an insurance group.

Lemonade settled my claims within 7 days and Alex made the whole process seamlessly easy while she keeps on reassuring me that once all requested information is submitted, they will act on it. This gives me more confidence to continue using the Insurance company because the water damaged happens at a point that I am financially struggling being a festive period. I will definitely refer my friends and family.

I feel like I want to press a class act or some type of discrimination lawsuit against Lemonade because every time I had a claim they treated me like I was a bargain. I had to accept bare minimum and then they told me when my policy was up that they were not going to do business with me anymore and the reasoning being has to be discrimination.

Ok so I am very happy that you helped me as much as you could but I am still not completely satisfied, one my policy was changed but I did not make the change, 2 my landlords property that I rent from is connected to him. My policy was supposed to come $100,000 damages to where I was staying which Included my landlords floors and walls. His stuff added up to $14,000 and I am being stuck with having to pay it or I am going to be thrown in jail over this. I tried for weeks to get in contact with anyone to have this fixed but I have not been able to. Come to a conclusion yet and I can't move back into the place due to owning $14,000 to my landlord for damages.

Need more improvement. They are really business person. My experience is good but they must see more feedback and see the customer issue. Try to solve in no time. Customer care are good at work. Company should take review over the present policies and have a good discussion over board of members (must include customers also those who are interested to participate in the "Golden Meeting").

I recently had a bike stolen from my garage, and Lemonade managed the claim process so well that I would describe it as "delightful." That's a word I never thought I'd use when speaking about an insurance company! It was easy, friendly, and quick. Worked with Alexis in the claim review department and everything went as smoothly as possible. Had water damage on Christmas eve, and they made a bad situation way better with the care they took. Cannot recommend Lemonade insurance enough, will soon be using them for other offerings as well such as their pet insurance.

In late December last year, a drain pipe leaked in my bedroom and closet. I called Lemonade and easily got in touch with a representative. She guided me the process and informed me a case advocator will be assigned to me. Alexis is the advocator, and she got in touch the very next day. The information Alexis asked for was straightforward. As soon as I submitted the claim, Alexis put the report together right away and got it approved within hours. Alexis and Lemonade made the otherwise daunting process very simple. Alexis is super helpful and efficient. I absolute would recommend Lemonade to any friend. Thank you!

Hated the process but the Lemonade crew worked with me to help recover my items in a fast and helpful manner. I was frustrated and they looked past the emotions and still helped. Yes it’s a huge process and I don’t like communicating via email, but overall would still highly recommend. Wasn’t too happy with the outcome but I can’t complain. My claim was taken care of in seconds. We had personal belongings stolen from us during our stay at a hotel in New York City and Lemonade was incredibly quick at getting back to me about my claim for theft. It was very straightforward, I provided information from the police report and the documentation for the items that were taken from us. It was very easy!

I filed a claim with Lemonade and they were quick to follow-up and thorough with their explanations. The process was practically painless. Their app UI is also the best UI I have ever used from an insurance company. Every representative I was in contact with was super friendly and helpful.

I recently had to file a claim for a stolen personal item and was extremely happy with the whole process and how helpful Sasha, from the claims team, was throughout the entire claim. Even though they required a police report. Lemonade actually approved my claim before I submitted it and processed my payment fairly quickly once the claim had been approved. The one caveat is that I wish they had given me the option to chose a lower deductible. Overall, I'm very happy with their service and recommend it.

We use our e-bike to commute to work and to our kid's school every day. It was stolen on Christmas morning, and Lemonade was right there to help us through the claims process. We got the insurance payout within 10 days, even over holidays. So appreciative for this. Highly recommend getting insurance through Lemonade!

Every time someone files an insurance claim is because something negative has occurred. Adam, who worked on my claim, was helpful and sympathetic to what I was going through. The date of my water damage was Christmas Day, so I believe the holidays delayed it slightly. The entire process took about 9 days, which was helpful in getting me situated quickly.

My home flooded and I lost everything due to black mold. Lemonade insurance was there for me in my darkness time. I have two small children so you can only imagine. They paid for room and board and also reimbursed me for a percentage of the food I paid for. I was able to start completely over without a hassle. I highly recommend them. Reporting and processing the claim for my stolen bike from Lemonade was super easy. I won't be using another other insurance provider for renter's insurance anytime soon! I would (and already have) recommend Lemonade to all my friends who rent!

Wednesday morning we had the worstest lightning storm I ever been in. It knocked out three of my TVs. All our cable boxes some of our plugs in our home it burnt trees. It really scared me. I panic. I didn't know what to do so I called my insurance and they had me fill out this list. I didn't know what I was doing and I appreciate them because I don't have anything to watch but a telephone, my telephone I believe got hit too because it's acting crazy. Wow this insurance came through when times were hard. Man this is the first time I ever experienced the storm. First I want to thank Lemonade for being able to pay for my hotel stay for a month while my apartment was and flooded and vandalized. I’m only dissatisfied because my claim is still not finished after two months. I lost everything I had in this situation and now I have nothing to start over with. I appreciate the assistance that I’m getting from my adjuster. I know she is only doing her job. I just feel like I sent all of the information multiple times, police reports and police involved. The policy didn’t say anything about the extra things like contacting my apartment manager is a must before I can get a partial payment. I feel like things could be better as far as customer service. I feel like I'm being treated as criminal and I’m a victim. I have 0 family here and me plus my children are literally sleeping on the floor.

He was very punctual and helpful. Never took very long to get back to me and made sure I got compensated for everything stolen. Even though it sucked we got robbed again I’m happy to know we can re-buy what was stolen.

I will admit that following my home being robbed and having to file a police report I was not looking forward to filing an insurance claim. Lemonade has been the only positive experience I have had throughout this ordeal. This was not the typical claims experience, this was simple, easy and fast. I had a positive claim experience with Lemonade. I had my MacBook stolen while on vacation in Italy. The claim required a police report, which was somewhat difficult. We had to visit 4 different police stations before we found one that could take English language and had to wait 2 hours in the station. But after that, lemonade processed the claim instantly, and I was able to use the cash to buy a replacement laptop within 24 hours of the theft. I am pleased with my first claim filed with lemonade.

After giving the police report and speaking to the detectives in charge I gave you all the information that we’ve asked for by the representative and then about a month later after always checked out I receive a notice saying that you the fifth was approved. I am very thankful for the front work that was done and we certainly recommend Lemonade, as I have done so many of my friends the other friends

Really appreciated how quickly Lemonade came back with my claim reimbursement when my bike was stolen. I thought it would take days for them to review my receipts, however it was approved within less than 30 seconds. I started my claim Early June and it was not until Mid December when they finalized the claim. I had over 40k in damages with about 30k in coverage. I used the app to upload pictures and receipts. Firstly, everyone I was in contact to was very empathetic and nice given my apartment had just flooded from a broken pipe at 4AM. But Brett was the best, so fast, nice almost instant replies to emails! I think the only thing I did not like about Lemonade is because I was panicked and didn’t classify in the rather short questionnaire that it wasn’t an emergency, no one could help me to the best of their ability when I felt I needed it most, which was the day of the accident. I feel like there should be someone who is able to change the urgency of claims because I was even able to get the case passed on to someone available. My case was given to someone on holiday for the weekend (and the accident happened on a Friday) which I don’t think it okay for any case, even for non-emergencies.

My experience with Lemonade was amazing! This company was very professional and handle my claim within 6 days. I had no issues with my claim whatsoever. Provided the documents, cooperated with the questions and got the claim taken care of. There was no need for agents or vigorous processes that cause delays. None of that. I had a horrible water experience at my last apartment and never wanted to experience that again. Thank goodness I got Lemonade Insurance because they made this issue a lot more stress free. Even though some things got damaged, I feel a lot safer knowing that I am protected and that the issue is being taken care of. At first the item was at risk of non coverage but Erin and her team were excellent and very responsive and communicative and did excellent work on completing my claim and going forward I feel very confident and protected by in my opinion the best renters insurance company in the world and I recommend lemonade insurance to anybody.
