    My dad bought life policies for my kids(over a decade ago), and now he has given the policies to me to take care of and manage them as the kids are aging out of the home. I didn't know till I called this morning to make the payments that they are closed on July 3 for the July 4 holiday. I'm sure they're closed tomorrow also. I was given wrong information.

      I am 78 years old and not good with computers. First I spent about 2 hours on phone hold after fighting their computer system. Gave up. Tried the computer, After answering the same questions repeatedly I was finally able to log in. After logging in I was told to print out the forms, sign them and mail them in. Now I have to find a printer. My wife just passed away, I don't have time for this. Don't you want to pay a claim? Pick up the phone, talk to me!

      Getting through to this company, regardless of whether you call first thing in the AM on a Tuesday or end of day on a Thursday, the hold times are ridiculously long. That would not be an issue if the customer service reps were helpful and courteous, which has been a rarity since I have become payer on the policy. Getting correct and helpful, explanatory answers is next to impossible with most of your representatives.

      Second and most pressing detail here is I can go ahead and make a payment via telephone, but every time I try to set up an account online, as is encouraged to do by your rude and unhelpful employees, I am told my account doesn't exist. HOW does my account not exist?! You literally just took my $ for a payment. This is a sheisty company. I wouldn't do business with you people at all if my guardian hadn't already set this up for me decades ago.

      Do not waste your time filling out their health survey. Which in my opinion is the exact same as asking medical exam questions! We were trying to find my husband some good insurance before an upcoming surgery. When we finally got their underwriters approval we got an insulting offer of $5k high premium offer for an insurance that wouldn't even pay out hardly anything in the event of his death! Insulting!! The only reviews you see on their page is good reviews, probably computer-generated, because we tried to call several times to cancel & everytime I ask for a representative it hung up on me! So for that I automatically give them poor customer service too! So again I say, don't even bother wasting your time applying for such an insulting offer that doesn’t even payout the full $5k for 5 yrs! My husband is worth more than $5k!

      Extremely disappointed with Globe Life Liberty National. What should have been a straightforward transfer process turned into weeks of unnecessary delays, poor communication, and misinformation. It became very clear that the priority was not the client’s best interest, but keeping the client’s money from being moved elsewhere. Clients deserve honesty, transparency, and timely service when making important financial decisions—not stall tactics and confusion. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this company to anyone expecting professional handling of their policies or funds.

      I was contacted out of the blue by Brian **, who identified himself as a supervisor and benefits coordinator for Globe Life, stating that I had inquired about life insurance. I had not intentionally done so, and if my information was submitted, it was likely through a third party source or lead generator. I already have life insurance and politely explained that I was not interested. His response back to me was: “Sure buddy, someone just made up an inquiry with your name, email address and date of birth.”

      I have worked in sales and sales management for over 35 years, so I fully understand the frustration that can come with bad leads or inaccurate information. However, professionalism and respect still matter. I would never speak to a potential customer that way, regardless of the situation, and if someone on my team handled a customer interaction like this, it would be addressed immediately. The smug and dismissive tone was completely unnecessary and honestly offensive. That single interaction permanently changed my opinion of both the representative and the company he represents. I would never consider doing business with someone who communicates with people in that manner. Very disappointing experience.

      I am writing this review to make others aware of the service I have received from Globe Life. Since March 12, 2026, I have been trying to add my daughter to the policies of my grandchildren as the Contingent Owner and Contingent Beneficiary. Despite completing all the required forms to make this change, Globe Life has yet to get it right. This should have been resolved on the first day the request was received. The lack of efficiency and competence is deeply concerning. I have sent an email today stating that if I do not receive a phone call from a manager within 48 hours, I will be cancelling all four of my policies. I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with this experience.

      I have carried 6 policies with Globe Life since 2018. In February 2025, during a financial hardship, I applied for small loans on my policies. While I appreciated having the ability to access the loans, the process became extremely frustrating and delayed. One of my loan requests was even canceled shortly after submission, and it took repeated follow-ups and significant effort just to get the loans processed.

      When the loans were issued, I was specifically told that loan payments would need to be paid separately from my regular premium payments. I continued paying my policy premiums every month through my bank in one combined payment covering all policies. If I missed a month, I made double payments the following month. There were also several times where I paid extra money above the required premium amounts to ensure my policies remained active.

      Months later, I discovered Globe Life had begun applying portions of my premium payments toward loan balances instead of properly applying those payments to my policies. I actually questioned this once early on because I noticed one payment had been redirected, but I did not realize the issue would continue. Then in April 2026, I received a call informing me that one of my policies had allegedly been inactive since December 2025 despite the fact that I had continued making payments the entire time.

      After reviewing my bank records and Globe Life’s own payment history, I discovered payments were still being redirected toward loan balances while a policy was inactive in their system. During this process, I also noticed errors connected to some of the original policy information. I have since formally disputed the handling of my payments and demanded a complete audit and correction of my accounts. After repeated calls and escalation, I finally received communication stating the issue would be corrected. My advice to consumers is to carefully monitor every payment, especially if policy loans are involved. Keep copies of all bank records, statements, and conversations.

      I have been with this company 27 years on one policy. And 13 years on other one. I sent a email asking for cash value on policies. And asked they send me a email with information. I have received nothing besides asking for my billing address which I sent them and they said they would review it and then send information. This has been going on for three days, still no information on what the cash value is. As long as I have been with company I could know what my cash value is. They been taking my money for these policies. I would think it's not that hard to let me know about my policies. Guess not, don't think it's fair.

      I would give them 0 stars if I could. I had a life insurance policy with Globe Life where I was the confirmed owner and the person responsible for making all premium payments. I contacted customer service multiple times to verify ownership, and each time I received inconsistent and conflicting information from different representatives. After escalating the issue, I was clearly told that only I had the authority to make changes or cancel the policy. Despite those assurances, I later received notice from their legal department that the policy had been canceled based on a request from the insured, who is not the owner and should not have had the authority to cancel it.

      When I reached out for answers, I was given no clear explanation and experienced unprofessional communication. Customer service later acknowledged that the cancellation should not have happened and initially told me the issue would be corrected. However, after being told everything was fine, I later discovered that the policy was still canceled. This experience has been extremely frustrating and stressful. The lack of accurate information, poor communication between departments, and wrongful cancellation of a policy I own is unacceptable. Based on my experience, I would not recommend using this company and would strongly encourage others to consider another insurance provider.

      It took over 12 days for my payment to post to my checking account. I feel like that is way too long even though it states on their information pages that payments will post within 3 to 5 business days.

      I would like to compliment this company on how they conduct business and I haven’t had any problems. I like the new website, I can make my payments much easier. I called the company for some information, and the young lady that help me was great, awesome customer service, and explained to me how to conduct my business that I called about and sent the necessary document I needed.       I had purchased life insurance for each of my grandchildren when they were born. It’s very hard to actually talk to a person when service is needed. They send out information to increase coverage every so many years, after purchasing increases I discovered that after 20 years it was no longer in effect. Also when I canceled those because I wanted permanent insurance I switched to buying replacement coverage. 2 of 3 were approved and the youngest boy wasn’t. It was approved the 20 year way? This is a healthy 7 year old who plays sports and has no issues. After having paid for coverage for a lot of years I decided to cancel all my policies, I had 7, and get coverage that will be paid in full for each child in 20 years. The cash value on the policies I canceled was such a minimal amount it was upsetting. Also it is a hassle to deal with cancellation making it several calls, emails and still waiting on 2 of them to be approved!

      Logging into the app or website has been followed by a request to change your password. Then the request has an error and you can't access your account to view or pay. I've tried contacting them for help but no answer yet. It's hard to give a positive review when you can't access your account.

      Spoke to Tania ** back in September 2025. She had no problem continuing to call me to schedule a review to sell me more coverage and then harassed my family members that I only provided contact information as beneficiaries for my policy trying to sell them on insurance. I asked for information to update my automatic payment which I never received even after emailing her several times. Then I emailed customer service, they responded a few days later asking for my DOB and name which I provided on 3/2 and followed up 2 additional times and have not heard back. Don't waste your time with this company if you need any customer service. It is a joke.
