Bad sales and service. The salesman for White Knight Pest Control was pushy and extremely misleading. When he PAID us at the time of sale for our initial (good) review, that should have been my sign! The first tech promised to return with mouse boxes. That didn't happen. The one-month return visit didn't happen. I called after 6 weeks. The second tech told me that the first tech did a poor job, leaving multiple wasp nests without treatment. He also promised to return with mouse boxes, but he did not. I cancelled the service, and the cancellation fee was substantially greater than the salesman promised. We ended up paying for the initial service (billing tells me this was a stand-alone service, not included in the 'contract'), plus the whole first quarter's payments, plus the $316 cancellation fee. So for 2 applications and not getting the promised mouse boxes, we paid $552.00. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Not recommended. Once you are on contract, they fail to service the property. Had to call many times over a week to get them out and I'm still waiting. Maybe the techs are tired and want to go home for the day and lie that the Customer canceled while the Customer is still waiting for them to show.

I’m very disappointed with my experience with White Knight Pest Control. When I initially signed up, I was not clearly informed that the cost would increase after the initial service. I was surprised to find out that I would be paying more than what I originally understood. When I decided I wanted to cancel, the process became extremely frustrating. I was left on hold for an extended period of time, then was told to hang up and call back. When I called back, I was told they were too busy to speak with me. It felt unnecessarily difficult to get a simple cancellation taken care of. I understand that businesses have policies and procedures, but customers should be given clear information about pricing upfront, and canceling a service should not be this difficult. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.

Dishonest company!! I'd rather have mice, wasps, and spiders then to have anything more to do with this company. They promised a 30-45 day follow-up after our initial visit. They did not follow through with this because they suspended our service. They suspended service due to supposed wildfires--we were not even close to any forest fires. The closest fire is more than four hours away. What's worse? There was no communication from the company about this suspension of services. I believe they just don't have enough technicians. They had no problem billing me twice--with no follow-up.

When I tried to cancel, I got such a runaround even though they were clearly the ones that first breached the contract and then made up a reason. And, my HOA has sprayed multiple times for mosquitoes in these "supposed" conditions, so White Knight could have easily followed up and sprayed for wasps and spiders--and checked the rodent boxes that are in my garage. No customer service, excuses on every call--and I had to call multiple times. If you don't do what you promise to do, the customer should be refunded. This is one of my worst experiences with a company. DO NOT ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH THEM!!

Their initial services were not bad. I still had bugs compared to the previous company that I used. I switched to them because a door-to-door salesman came and indicated that I would get a specific price and also that they would pay off the remainder of my contract with the other company. They did not pay off the other company, and when I called, they did not have a record of it. Additionally, I called to cancel because the remaining contract was up. However, they kept me on as a client per the contract until I called to cancel.

They were charging me for the service even though it had not been completed. They offered to provide me with the last service since I was paying for it anyway, but I indicated that I would cancel anything after that. The person I spoke to indicated that it would be cancelled. 3 months later, they have completed another service. They give you 24-hour notice of the pending visit and only give you 24 hours to cancel. If you miss the text message or email, you are out of luck. I had cancelled, but they charged me anyway.

I filed an appeal, and they indicated that they had tried to reach me by sending me a text, email and phone call, stating that I had not called, even though I had called them on Friday and filed an appeal. Their customer service isn't exactly terrible, but they are definitely not the best or good at what they do. The customer service reps who don't want to talk to you try to get you off the phone quickly, while the people that do like to talk, just want to be unprofessional and argue with you.

They don't know how frustrated how we as customers are, and they are not sympathetic whatsoever. They would rather argue with you and call you a liar, and then state that a majority of customers lie, which is why "he could not work in the appeals department." I guess the customer has no say here, and they don't want to hear it. All they said was contact the appeals department, who simply emails you that they have reviewed all of the information, and they find that they are right without any proof to the customer. I had called to cancel all services after the last service that they were charging me for anyway. They indicated that I reinstated the service and contract at that point and that I had to call and cancel. A workaround to charge a customer who does not want their services.

I would give this business zero stars if I could. The salesman completely misrepresented both the company's services and how easily the contract could be cancelled. When I reached out to cancel, the representative was condescending, kept interrupting me, and seemed to take pleasure in telling me I owed an additional balance to end the agreement. To make matters worse, the front-line phone staff are completely unaware of company policies, and their written email responses completely contradict what the actual 'cancellation team' tells you. If it is less than 30 days (even though you don't know) they charge you and don't do the treatment. We are filing this complaint against White Knight Pest Control regarding a dispute over charges assessed after expiration of the contract. Specifically, the agreement does not clearly state that we would owe additional post-expiration charges, accelerated future payments, or any termination penalty in the amount being demanded. On May 26, 2026, we sent a formal written dispute email to White Knight Pest Control requesting documentation and clarification regarding charges they claim we owe following the contract expiration. In that email, we requested:

      1. A complete itemized breakdown of the charges being claimed, especially a clear explanation how they came up with the charges that are not listed on the contract.
      2. The exact calculation used to arrive at the alleged balance,
      3. The specific section(s) of the signed contract authorizing each charge,

      4. Copies of any signed addendums, renewals, or amendments they believe apply,

To date, we have not received a substantive written response addressing these requests. Instead of providing the requested documentation, White Knight continually sent emails denying our request and changing the reason as to why they can't provide a response. The company's lack of response precludes us from properly evaluating the validity of the charges.

As consumers, we believe we are entitled to a clear explanation of any amounts being claimed, along with the contractual basis for those charges. The company's lack of responsiveness has prevented us from resolving this matter. We are seeking a fair resolution and for White Knight to provide a complete written response regarding this matter. We have filed a complaint with the BBB, Attorney General's Consumer Protection and the Federal Trade Commission for possible fraudulent business practices due to lack of response.

      Reviewed May 30, 2026

I am writing this to formally warn other homeowners about the highly deceptive consumer practices being utilized by White Knight Pest Control. My experience with this company constitutes a classic bait-and-switch billing scheme. I entered into a 12-month agreement under what their own contract explicitly classifies as a "BiMonthly TripleCrown Subscription" at a flat rate of $99 per month. For eight months, I maintained my account perfectly, paying my $99 monthly invoices. Every single billing statement issued to me by White Knight showed an "Amount Due" of $99 and a carried balance of $0 upon payment.

When I recently initiated a cancellation request, their billing department suddenly demanded a $400 "back-balance" penalty. Corporate claims that each individual service visit actually costs $200, and because my monthly subscription payments only totaled $800, I must retroactively pay a hidden deficit. This practice directly violates the terms of their own written contract. According to their fine print, the early termination penalty is strictly limited to the "initial discount" provided on the first service, which is a fixed amount of $321.00. Instead of adhering to their own legal disclosures, White Knight is completely inventing a non-contracted $200 per-visit charge to unlawfully extract funds from consumers who try to close their accounts.

Furthermore, the actual field service is heavily compromised—technicians routinely spend less than 10 minutes on-site and fail to address specified problem areas. Because this represents a systemic and deceptive business practice, I have filed formal complaints with the California Structural Pest Control Board and the Better Business Bureau. I strongly advise consumers to look closely at their recent pattern of reviews before authorizing this company to access your credit card.

White Knight Pest Control’s billing practices are extremely misleading. When I signed up, I was told that two monthly payments covered one service visit since they only serviced the yard every other month. That’s how the billing was explained to me from the beginning. Now, after I completed my full 1-year contract, they are suddenly claiming that THREE monthly payments cover one service visit and are trying to charge me an additional $239.96 for services they have not performed. Changing the explanation of the billing after the contract is completed feels dishonest and deceptive. I fulfilled my agreement and should not be charged for future work that hasn’t happened. Customers should be very careful and make sure everything is explained clearly in writing before signing with this company.

They will only check it one time when the service is over at the year mark and do not replace the bait. YOU as the customer have to reach out and request this be completed even though everything states this products starts to work 7-10 days in and the treatment completed around 3-6 months and best part you could have bought a pack of 16 for 350 and done it yourself.

You can't cancel this "contract" early because you'll still have to pay for the "lack of service" until that year mark is up. They also state that this system works for 4-5 years - the product no longer works after 6 months if the bait is not being replaced and the product not being check every couple months. Also your monthly service is a totally different fee from this product even though they literally don't do anything with it during that year after place as long as you don't ask any questions. So I can't cancel my service at least until this is finished. Now this doesn't quite fall on the techs. I don't believe this to be their fault. Don't sign up with this company for pest control services. We live in a newer subdivision (renters). When we initially moved in, we were having some spider issues. We had self-treated the home and yard. However, a salesperson with White Knight came to our door offering their services. We let them know that we are renters and that we wouldn't be able to fulfil a year's contract because we planned to buy a home prior to the end of one year. The salesperson told me that would not be an issue because when we closed on our new home that they would cancel our contract without penalty or we could request to transfer our services. The ability to cancel is the only reason that we agreed to sign up. Now, we are getting ready to close on our new home.

I sent White Knight an e-mail asking to cancel our services. I also attached a copy of our purchase contract as proof of our intention to move. No response all week. I called this morning and was informed that if I want to cancel that I have to pay $490.00. I brought up the conversation with the salesperson and the option to cancel due to moving. The salesperson lied and White Knight wants $490.00 to cancel or I can choose to bring them to my new residence for no fee and finish out my contract. So, I am essentially forced to pay $490. or continue to do business with a company who uses deceptive practices to obtain sales contracts. I will never recommend this company to anyone. Even my light company has said, no problem, contract cancelled, and they could technically service my new address.

This is the second time Sammi has worked as the Svcs. Tech providing quality pest control to my yard. Sammi is efficient and friendly, and I’m still pleased with my decision to switch to White Knight. I think Sammi deserves a bonus!

Oh my, where do I begin. Let's start with that I 100% followed our contract agreement. I was with them for 14 months. I tried to cancel 5 weeks after my last service, still about 8 weeks before my next service. They refused to let me cancel my service. I returned a week later from Chicago to see that they serviced my house while we were gone. They deliberately sent an employee over 5 weeks after my previous service just to try to rack up my bill.

      - I originally got the service for rodent control. They couldn't do much besides put out poison around the house. Service started in July... come Nov-Feb I trapped and killed more then 150+ mice. I kind of felt like it was unreal, every day I was getting 3-4 mice. This year is better but I'm still getting quite a few mice for a "rodent control". However, the ants and spiders have actually been worse then I have seen before. All were pointed out and being serviced for. Therefore, I don't believe that this company's ethics are in the right place. I called them out for being unethical and breaking the law by refusing to let me quit my service after our agreement was filled and am still finding kick back today...

4 months later and they are still harassing me for a bill. A bill that they quickly hustled 8 weeks premature. I let them know that I will only talk to the Owner, CEO, or whomever is in charge of operations so I can discuss with them the practice of their business and how we can make things right, or I will resort to leaving a review. If it continues then I will be making a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and probably our State Attorney. Instead, they keep kicking me the same service agreement (Agreement fulfilled by both parties) to pay this bill. It has been a very sad experience to say the least. Highly DO NOT recommend.

Finally I cancelled their service and feel so dumb for being lazy and not canceling them soon enough. In last 3 years except couple of time, I never have gotten good service. One service day I went to point the guy an ant nest after 5 minutes he was done, I tipped the guy and he left but went back and saw he didn’t do anything about the issue. I have several reasons to cancel but they didn’t allow me to cancel without 1 month prior notice even if I am with them since March 2022 and I still have 1 more service then I have to call them again.

Approached by a door to door salesman offering a deal on pest control. Was hesitant because of personal financial reasons but was assured by the salesman that if I ever needed to cancel that I could at anytime. Christmas season hits and money is tight and needed to cancel my service. Called White Knight customer service to cancel and was told that if I terminated my service I would owe $300+ which is what was provided as a discount to the initial service. The remainder of my services for the year at only $160. Incredibly scummy company using backhanded tactics to keep customers rather than through quality service. Avoid this company at all costs.

Do not, under any circumstances, use White Knight pest control! I have had to call this company out after every service to have them come out and properly treat the areas like around my front door around my back door around my patio door! They do not deliver on what they promise in their sales bitches. They do not treat the yards. Even though they say they treat for fleas and all types of piss. I was with Terminix for 28 years. Never had a bug in my house, switched over to White Knight Pest Control and now I have bugs in my house.

When I called them, they told me that those bugs weren’t covered under my contract!?! And if I wanted those bugs covered, I need to pay more? How can a company exclude certain bugs out of their pest control treatment? I have cameras all over my property and I can see what they’re doing and I watch them as they barely treat my property lines. Then I have to call them. Tell him I have them on camera, not doing their job! This company has shoddy customer service and even worse ‘professional pest control technicians'!

Be wary of this company! Their sales rep lied to me to sign up with their services. As a result, during the “welcome call” I found out the price is double than the agreed price. I called the company and they gave me the runaround. For instance, the customer service rep completely ignored what the service rep stated about the services and even charged me to cancel their services, which was $215!.

This company is Horrible. Lied about service performed. Lied about inability to get to the yard. I spoke with their local office multiple times and was lied to about discount. Reported the company to the BBB. Lied about everything and now sent me to collections. Don't use them ever. If I'd known how awful the experience would be I never would have signed up for it. This review wants more words and I have nothing more to say other than NOT to do it. JUST DON'T.

The sales people lie. I was told I could cancel at any time. I was told the chemicals were safe for my animals. The tech showed up and was decked from head to toe with safety gear and masks, which was alarming because he sprayed all around the water bowls for my dogs and all around my animals. When I called to state that I didn't think the grass and brush was completed, and that I was worried about my dogs I was brushed to the side. I observed gnats, mosquitos and bugs flying around at night in the grass. I asked to cancel and they stated I was obligated to stay for 18 months, and that I had no proof of the conversation I had with the Sales team.

A sales guy came to my door to offer a one-time mosquito spray at the end of the season for $99. I agreed and today realized they have now signed me up for a recurring service that, if I cancel, they'll charge me the full $250 instead of $99. Pretty rare I write negative reviews but this was one of the shadiest business dealings I've had in a while. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!

No stars if I could!!!!! They forged my signature and said I signed a contract. I did not. They said they would do a one time spay for $65 and now they charge my card every month. It’s a total scam. When I called to address the problem- they said I signed a contract for a year and to break it will cost $400 plus late fees.

They threatened to ruin my credit. And they keep texting, calling and sending emails for me to pay them yet I can’t talk to a supervisor or manager to find some sort of agreement. The last email they sent they said their investigation of the matter is closed. And that I owe them.

This company May service my area but I don’t consider it local. Service Techs travel from some other city and are never the same tech. You call the company and it’s just some random person you talk with. They do have access to my account info and notes so that is good. They are very expensive in my opinion. They do sweep and clean the eaves of cobwebs and nests which is nice. There is a lot of fine print details. Read the contract carefully.

They came to our house, pressured my wife to sign up, she declined numerous times to do the service. He refused to accept no and made her feel so unsafe that she ended up accepting after his harassment. The spray they used caused significant issues to the paws of our pets, when we called to complain they tried to charge $250 to end the services. These people have multiple lawsuits open for violating the do not call federal list. We even submitted vet bills and a letter from the vet with them stating it was most likely their spray causing the issues and they still refused to waive the cancel fee because it didn't conclusively say it was 100% their product which would be absolutely impossible to make that determination from a vet. When I mentioned that to "Melissa" the customer "advocate" she told me she knew that was an impossible ask so then the fee would stand. We have file a lawsuit now ourselves for damages to our pets.
