Their initial services were not bad. I still had bugs compared to the previous company that I used. I switched to them because a door-to-door salesman came and indicated that I would get a specific price and also that they would pay off the remainder of my contract with the other company. They did not pay off the other company, and when I called, they did not have a record of it. Additionally, I called to cancel because the remaining contract was up. However, they kept me on as a client per the contract until I called to cancel.

They were charging me for the service even though it had not been completed. They offered to provide me with the last service since I was paying for it anyway, but I indicated that I would cancel anything after that. The person I spoke to indicated that it would be cancelled. 3 months later, they have completed another service. They give you 24-hour notice of the pending visit and only give you 24 hours to cancel. If you miss the text message or email, you are out of luck. I had cancelled, but they charged me anyway.

I filed an appeal, and they indicated that they had tried to reach me by sending me a text, email and phone call, stating that I had not called, even though I had called them on Friday and filed an appeal. Their customer service isn't exactly terrible, but they are definitely not the best or good at what they do. The customer service reps who don't want to talk to you try to get you off the phone quickly, while the people that do like to talk, just want to be unprofessional and argue with you.

They don't know how frustrated how we as customers are, and they are not sympathetic whatsoever. They would rather argue with you and call you a liar, and then state that a majority of customers lie, which is why "he could not work in the appeals department." I guess the customer has no say here, and they don't want to hear it. All they said was contact the appeals department, who simply emails you that they have reviewed all of the information, and they find that they are right without any proof to the customer. I had called to cancel all services after the last service that they were charging me for anyway. They indicated that I reinstated the service and contract at that point and that I had to call and cancel. A workaround to charge a customer who does not want their services.

I would give this business zero stars if I could. The salesman completely misrepresented both the company's services and how easily the contract could be cancelled. When I reached out to cancel, the representative was condescending, kept interrupting me, and seemed to take pleasure in telling me I owed an additional balance to end the agreement. To make matters worse, the front-line phone staff are completely unaware of company policies, and their written email responses completely contradict what the actual 'cancellation team' tells you. Avoid this company at all costs.

Had to cancel my account because of recent medical bills. Called to cancel and got told they would call back. I have never been treated so poorly by a person. I was talked down to, and told that I had to pay $180 to cancel an already fulfilled contract because they had scheduled a service, which I had no idea of because the call the day before. If it is less than 30 days (even though you don't know) they charge you and don't do the treatment. And the way I was treated even after making it clear it was because of a cancer diagnosis and bills was appalling. Just don't sign the contract, they are thieves.

RUN. If I could rate negative stars, I would. After battling with customer service for HOURS trying to cancel my account, I was misinformed by my sales rep about the "$99" flat rate. I was told I have to complete my contract and if I don't I can pay a $250 CANCELLATION FEE. This company is a joke and will take your money and run. Every product they use is not safe. How am I supposed to receive services when 6 months out of the year, it's NEGATIVE temps and SNOWING. I hope this company takes the time to read reviews. Please run far away and NEVER go with this company. It's a complete scam. Sales reps are misinformed and not to blame, the company doesn't care what their sales reps say as long as they get money.

Filing a business complaint a/b this scam of a business. They first off send someone directly to your door and make it seem like you pay for EACH service they come out to do when they come out to do that. That is not what it is. The rep specifically told us we would only be charged for the pest control we need and we can cancel anytime. Now I'm dealing with them saying we owe them hundreds of dollars for their services, which they did not do, at all (I have several house cameras). This place is a total scam and also their customer service team is comparable to elementary students. The guy literally yelled at me on the phone, called me an idiot and told me that I should read the fine print better. Absolutely gross. Would never recommend this place.

Three out of my four service visits they left my back gate open and unlocked, after repeated verbal and written texts requests to ensure it is locked. I have a pool. It is completely unacceptable.

We are filing this complaint against White Knight Pest Control regarding a dispute over charges assessed after expiration of the contract. Specifically, the agreement does not clearly state that we would owe additional post-expiration charges, accelerated future payments, or any termination penalty in the amount being demanded. On May 26, 2026, we sent a formal written dispute email to White Knight Pest Control requesting documentation and clarification regarding charges they claim we owe following the contract expiration. In that email, we requested:

      1. A complete itemized breakdown of the charges being claimed, especially a clear explanation how they came up with the charges that are not listed on the contract.
      2. The exact calculation used to arrive at the alleged balance,
      3. The specific section(s) of the signed contract authorizing each charge,

      4. Copies of any signed addendums, renewals, or amendments they believe apply,

To date, we have not received a substantive written response addressing these requests. Instead of providing the requested documentation, White Knight continually sent emails denying our request and changing the reason as to why they can't provide a response. The company's lack of response precludes us from properly evaluating the validity of the charges.

As consumers, we believe we are entitled to a clear explanation of any amounts being claimed, along with the contractual basis for those charges. The company's lack of responsiveness has prevented us from resolving this matter. We are seeking a fair resolution and for White Knight to provide a complete written response regarding this matter. We have filed a complaint with the BBB, Attorney General's Consumer Protection and the Federal Trade Commission for possible fraudulent business practices due to lack of response.

I am writing this to formally warn other homeowners about the highly deceptive consumer practices being utilized by White Knight Pest Control. My experience with this company constitutes a classic bait-and-switch billing scheme. I entered into a 12-month agreement under what their own contract explicitly classifies as a "BiMonthly TripleCrown Subscription" at a flat rate of $99 per month. For eight months, I maintained my account perfectly, paying my $99 monthly invoices. Every single billing statement issued to me by White Knight showed an "Amount Due" of $99 and a carried balance of $0 upon payment.

When I recently initiated a cancellation request, their billing department suddenly demanded a $400 "back-balance" penalty. Corporate claims that each individual service visit actually costs $200, and because my monthly subscription payments only totaled $800, I must retroactively pay a hidden deficit. This practice directly violates the terms of their own written contract. According to their fine print, the early termination penalty is strictly limited to the "initial discount" provided on the first service, which is a fixed amount of $321.00. Instead of adhering to their own legal disclosures, White Knight is completely inventing a non-contracted $200 per-visit charge to unlawfully extract funds from consumers who try to close their accounts.

Furthermore, the actual field service is heavily compromised—technicians routinely spend less than 10 minutes on-site and fail to address specified problem areas. Because this represents a systemic and deceptive business practice, I have filed formal complaints with the California Structural Pest Control Board and the Better Business Bureau. I strongly advise consumers to look closely at their recent pattern of reviews before authorizing this company to access your credit card.

I must say that they are very loyal and they kept their word. And they actually surprised me with the 30-day revisit and Miss ** came and when I say she satisfied me from the inside to the outside of my home. OMG!!! Her customer service was great, her patience was great, she understood my frustration, and she explained everything very well. And when I say frustration, I was not frustrated with them as a company. I was frustrated with my home. And she didn't rush me, and she let me explain everything. She was just great all the way around!! Like if I can get Miss ** every time, hands down, I will be satisfied. With no doubt.

White Knight Pest Control’s billing practices are extremely misleading. When I signed up, I was told that two monthly payments covered one service visit since they only serviced the yard every other month. That’s how the billing was explained to me from the beginning. Now, after I completed my full 1-year contract, they are suddenly claiming that THREE monthly payments cover one service visit and are trying to charge me an additional $239.96 for services they have not performed. Changing the explanation of the billing after the contract is completed feels dishonest and deceptive. I fulfilled my agreement and should not be charged for future work that hasn’t happened. Customers should be very careful and make sure everything is explained clearly in writing before signing with this company.
