White Knight is a secret combination of dishonest business practices, poor customer service, and shabby performance! We tried to discontinue service, if you can call it that, because we were moving from one city to another, at the end of our contract, with one treatment to go! We scheduled the last treatment to be made at our new address. Obviously, the new owners of our prior home, should have not have to deal with that! For doing the right thing, White Knight has decided to come after us to the tune $99 dollars saying we cancelled BEFORE the last treatment!! Stay as far away from these people as humanly possible!

We signed up with White Knight Pest Control from a door-to-door salesman that came by and promised a cancel any time contract. We set it up and received service. The bugs kept showing up, the company assured us it is normal for pest activity to increase until they have a chance to reapply the pest control material a few times. We let it go and wanted to wait and see. Pests kept showing up. We then found out that we had signed a year contract, not a cancel anytime contract. Ok, great, we don't like this company but we are stuck for a year.

After the year is up, we attempt to cancel but get billed for an extra service anyway because we didn't give a FULL 30-DAY NOTICE! Our doctor only requires 24 hours’ notice for a cancellation. But here is the kicker: they charged for this extra visit but never performed the last service. If you are going to charge me, at least come out and do the thing you are charging me for. But no, as if out of spite for the customer they don't even OFFER to do the last service. If you cancel with less than 30 days’ notice, they just charge you a fee that is NEVER outlined in the contract. Also note, this is after the 1-year contract expired. But has any of this stopped them from aggressive collection tactics, no. We have been harassed by this company weekly and/or monthly for the better part of a year now. STAY AWAY!

Approached by a salesman. He stated that the first treatment would be at no cost, except for around seven dollars for tax. Guy comes the next day and does the treatment. Woman calls and says we owe over three hundred dollars. Husband explains what salesman told us. Woman claims salesman "had no right" to do that, yet she wants to keep the contract the salesman obtained for them with us. We said cancel. Later they tried to bill us and I removed out credit card info from their site, which had it on autopay, which we had not signed up for either. A few days later, that woman calls my husband and tried to collect the money from him via "another payment method". He told her no and she threatened to report us to the credit bureau. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. They are a scam and not very smart about it. Not smart enough to be friendly over the phone.

BEWARE! I rarely leave bad reviews but this company White Knight Pest Control is a very unethical company they deserve 0 stars. The salespeople are pushy and promise services that are not included, the service is adequate the first time and gets worse as time goes on. My last service lasted less than 10 minutes for the whole outside of the house, outside cameras show he didn’t do much of anything. Trying to cancel is a nightmare, even when your contract is up, they add charges that appear out of nowhere, charges that are not mentioned in your contract anywhere, the staff is trained to be rude upon cancellation and give answers that make no sense. Their technicians are poorly trained. Best advice—STAY AWAY FROM WHITE KNIGHT PEST CONTROL!

Avoid This Company at All Costs. White Knight is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. Do not trust them under any circumstances. A quick Google search of their reviews will confirm that the numerous allegations against them are absolutely true. Their customer service is appalling. The supervisor talks over you, refuses to listen, and falsely claims to be the only person authorized to handle contract cancellations. This is simply not true.

Their contracts are deceptive, filled with hidden charges, and riddled with misleading information. The salespeople are dishonest, the service is ineffective, and the cancellation fees are outrageously high. To make matters worse, the amount owed to cancel changes drastically from one month to the next, with no clear explanation. This is a terrible company with unethical business practices. I strongly advise anyone considering them to look elsewhere.

ZERO STARS. White Knight Pest Control is a dishonest, predatory company that uses shady business practices. I don't know how they keep getting away with this seeing that so many other people have had terrible experiences either them. Not only was the quality of the pest control terrible (I didn't see any improvements after them coming twice) but I was harassed with nonstop texts about repeat visits. I finally had to call to tell them I wasn't interested in continuing. They claimed I had signed a year long contract when I clearly remember DECLINING to sign. They charged me a $115 "close out fee" to break the "contract." They bullied and gaslit me into believe I signed the contract to agree to the charge.

When I demanded proof of this "contract" they kept dodging me. They finally sent it after asking over and over again, and lo and behold, it did NOT HAVE MY SIGNATURE just as I had said. Even after this they STILL REFUSED TO REFUND ME. According to the rep I "agreed" to the contract by allowing a second visit to occur per "company rules" although this wasn't anywhere stated in the contract (which | never signed in the first place). ???? Not to mention the customer service is awful- rude, unhelpful, demanding, and clearly liars. This place is a SCAM and will rip you off. Avoid at all costs.

Mansfield, TX. When we first hired White Knight, they did a pretty decent job. We then bundled our services with another company who was taking care of other services for us. On returning to White Knight, we've had little issue until now. 2 weeks ago we called for an in-house visit which is offered for extra specific needs. They showed that we had an upcoming visit two days later so we chose to wait until then for the visit. No Show. "Couldn't find the house". Even though they called 20 min prior to let us know they were on their way. Didn't notify us of the issue, they just called their dispatch and left it at that. We followed up and had to reschedule for the following Tuesday. That Tuesday I get a text wanting a review on the service provided. What Service? They didn't show again. Apparently they went to someone else's home.

We called again. Instead of attempting to make it right, they wanted us to wait another week. After explaining what has happened up until now, they agreed to get a service our for today between 8-12. You guessed it, no show. Now they have us listed for "Some Time Today". Upon attempting to cancel our service, now the department that handles accounts is unavailable to be reached. I've given it a 2 instead of a 1 because they were good the first time around and we did appreciate them, but something has definitely changed over the years. I get that things happen, but in a business, you make things right. you don't repeatedly drop the ball.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you hire this company. I was with them since June of 2022. They send out some 19 year kid to get you to sign up (first sign they are not above-board - they are cold calling at your door, not getting word of mouth reviews). Actual service was ok, but I still had pest problems, including aggressive yellow jackets despite their supposed "treatments." I also had bugs inside the house constantly, which led me to start considering alternative companies.

As a bonus, they sent out one of their employees during the summer floods in Texas to do a treatment. Not only was it pouring rain that day (which would have washed away any treatment they did), Williamson County was under a flood warning where county officials were telling residents to get off the streets and GO HOME for their own safety. White Knight was still sending their employees out in dangerous conditions.

If a company treats their employees like that, how did you think they are going to treat you?? Let me tell you - POORLY. When I tried to cancel with them, all I got was the run around and they "could not" waive their 30 day cancellation fee. I'm a lawyer, and last time I checked, either party to a contract can re-negotiate the terms. All they offered me was a "discount," which would have locked me in for ANOTHER three to six months. Bottom line, it was easier to divorce my first husband than it was to get away from these jerks. “White Knight” – I don’t think so. Next time I think I’ll bet on the dark horse by finding a company with Good reviews, or just go to Lowe’s and get some bug spray and do it myself. Either way, they are not a company with integrity, and you should hire someone (ANYONE else) if you need pest services.

Sharing my experience to help others. I’m extremely dissatisfied with how this has been handled; I can’t recommend this company.

    • Sales: The door-to-door rep told me the treatment would affect only targeted insects and that other insects/wildlife would be unaffected.
    • First service: The technician clarified that statement wasn’t accurate and said I’d see an uptick in insects and then improvement within a couple of weeks.

    • Results: After 4 months, I’ve seen no change in insect activity on my property.

    • Cancellation: On Aug 25, 2025, I mailed a cancellation letter by certified mail (delivered to 1900 FM 967, Suite A, Buda, TX). A separate certified letter to the local office was returned/refused. I also emailed my cancellation to appeals@whiteknight.com
and spoke with a local rep.

    • Billing dispute: I’m now being told I owe $500 because the “initial service was discounted” with a contract. I dispute that balance and any additional charges. I’ve asked for written confirmation that my account is cancelled with a $0 balance and that auto-charges are removed.

She said, ("NO, TOO BAD.") Yes, she said, "Too bad." Call and reschedule. I called the office 3 minutes later, I was done. Now I have to wait until Saturday. Another 1/2 a week on top of the last two months no one has been at our location. He also offered reoccurring visits every 60 days for $139.00 which I told him I was not interested in, so he told me we could cancel any time. The next morning they came and sprayed. As I was reading the contract the I saw in small writing that I only had 3 days to cancel and would be charged an extra $300.00 for canceling. I called the company and customer service told me they couldn't do anything about it and a consumer advocate would call back. Two days later they called back and said if we wanted out of the contract we would have to pay the $300.00 and it didn't matter at all what the salesman said because they were outside contractors and were not company employees.

Their sales people and techs are very friendly. BUT: I signed a contract for a discounted $20 initial service (paid that day) and 2 follow up services at $90 each. After the first follow up, they billed me $119. Attempts to rectify this have been frustrating, with their customer service person saying she'd have a manager call me back to see if he would approve the "reduced rate". I asked them to check the original contract and was told they don't have it....just an electronic service agreement that they scanned my signature onto...and which they put their figures into.

The manager never called me back, but I have received several annoying "dead-air" calls from a number in Northern Colorado (where their office is located) since I first complained about the price increase. They also refuse to take notice of my desire to cancel the service after the contract period, saying it is their policy not to accept cancellations until after the last treatment (which may allow them to slip in an extra treatment under an auto-renewal clause and a 0 day notification clause.) I'm definitely going to the Better Business Bureau about this! Oh, and I still have wasps, spiders, mice....

When the service guy showed up for my first service, he had a sloppy and unprofessional appearance. I've since been trying to cancel my contract, and simply pay the $300 for contract cancellation, but their customer service said that to cancel, one of their "Customer Advocates" will need to call me to handle the cancellation. It's been several days now, and I have yet to hear from anyone. It shouldn't take this long simply to cancel my contract. I've tried calling them back, but keep getting the same response; i.e., that a "Customer Advocate" will call me. They couldn't even give me a rough time frame on when to expect the call.

Also, when I first called them, I accidentally pressed "1" for the sales department without realizing it. When a young salesman answered and I started explaining my situation (not realizing he was a salesman), he sarcastically said "Darling, you have the sales department; you need to press "2" for customer service." White Knight Pest Control was bad on multiple fronts. Their customer service was terrible to work with. When I wanted to cancel, I had to talk to customer advocate and it took many calls to get through to them. Finally, they canceled the account but told me that I had to pay for my last service despite not having it done ($139, they reduced it to $99) because I didn't cancel within 30 days.

I had tried to call to cancel before the service before and they said I needed to stay on until the end of the promotion, but I would have thought they could cancel for me in advance. They just keep scheduling service and hope people just keep paying for the service. Then they charge them for their last service even when they don't get it. I understand I didn't call to cancel within 30 days, but even when I asked to have them cancel after the next service, they said they couldn't cancel my account in advance like that. So they want me to call more than 30 days but not before the next service because that is too far in advance. Then when you call to cancel, they aren't available until you call, 5, 6, 7 times to get a hold of them.

To top it all off, at one point, one of the service techs said that they bait traps were not filled properly the time before so I have to make a separate appointment for him to come back and fill them properly because he didn't have what was necessary at the time. So to sum up, their service is not very good (their own techs admit it) and they are incredibly hard to cancel service with and when you do, you will likely need to pay the last service amount since you have a small window to cancel.

I have reported them to our consumer protection agency with my state. Nice guy came to the door. Asked him if he saw the no soliciting sign and he admitted he had. Only reason I agreed to give them a try is that I had a previous pest control company that I had gotten the same way and they were legit and did a decent job. We even talked about the 3 day right of refusal. No mention if I canceled, I would have to pay the 'difference' between the regular and discounted price. I signed on his phone. Received the contract to my email and saw the language-did not approve. They texted a audio/video contract, which I did not complete. Texted him to cancel. He practically begged me to give it a try that I wouldn't be disappointed.

Tech was supposed to come while I was at the house. He very inconveniently came while I was gone. If they hadn't told me he had been, I wouldn't have known. Still had cobwebs on my porch. Sent photos of the cobwebs and said to cancel-I wasn't paying. an He said he sent the pics to management and they would redo the treatment Monday. I said no, that was after my 3 days. Only way I verified they had even been was a glue trap in my garage, which I specifically said, DO NOT USE glue traps.

I also noticed drips down my kitchen window. Then I get a call a month later to "schedule my next appt". I said no, I canceled. She asked if I had evidence that I canceled, which I did. So she gave me a number to text the photos of the text messages to, which I did. A few days later, at almost 7:00 at night, a tech shows up at my house. Thankfully, my dogs alerted me. I told him to leave that I had canceled the service, which he did. They've charged me $49 twice, which I have disputed. They keep sending me messages and texts to pay my balance of $192!! I will report fraud and cancel my credit card over this if I have to.

This company has sales people that misrepresent their services and tell you that you can cancel at anytime if you are not happy with their services. The catch is they charge you a $200.00 termination fee. Be very careful of the contract that you sign.

Predatory Sales Practices and Poor Service Quality: The salesperson was extremely aggressive and refused to accept "no" for an answer. They made false promises about services they don't actually provide, claiming they would use specialized products to penetrate my lawn for bug removal, spray plants, and treat eaves. They also boasted about using an exclusive new product that supposedly outperforms all competitors - none of which turned out to be true.

Inconsistent and Inadequate Service: Multiple technicians showed up to my property only to leave within 5-10 minutes without completing any meaningful work. After numerous complaints, I spoke with two California regional managers, Danny and Deacon, who agreed to reduce my monthly rate to $55 with bimonthly billing ($109 every two months). However, the company continued charging me $109 monthly instead of the agreed-upon bimonthly rate. Billing Issues and Refusal to Honor Agreements: Despite their billing error and failure to provide promised services, the company refuses to issue any refunds. They acknowledge the mistake but won't make it right financially.

Cancellation Difficulties: When I attempted to cancel, customer service repeatedly claimed managers and the cancellation department were unavailable and promised return calls that never came. I only reached a manager by calling without identifying myself and demanding to speak directly with management or cancellation department. Overall Experience: This company employs fraudulent sales tactics, provides substandard service, and engages in customer harassment through constant texts requesting tips and ratings. For bimonthly service at an inflated price point, the value proposition is completely unacceptable.

I am fed up with this company. After 3 no shows. I have decided to cancel. I was told my account was closed. I would get a confirmation text it never came two days later. I get a text saying that I owed 96 dollars. Because I didn't give 30 days notice. Nothing of the fee was mentioned during my phone call to cancel. Every time I call am never able to speak to the person over cancelations. I tried to cancel 3 months ago but was told I couldn't unless. I had one more service. Which was ended up being a no show. Even when I called that morning to confirm that someone was going to come.

Beware. Scammers and liars. The sales people will sell you a dream and then it’s nothing like that in reality. Bait and switch, “gotcha” tactics. Will be taking legal action if they do not terminate our contract without penalty. We have only had one service and that’s where we discovered they were frauds. The salesperson Eli ** was a seemingly sweet kid but does not realize you can’t blatantly lie to get a sale. He said our neighbor uses them (confirmed he doesn’t), he somehow had the authority to reduce our cancellation fee to $100 (he doesn’t and they aren’t honoring that), he said unlike other companies they service my car engine for pests, our skylights, the gardens, the garage, they use a special tool to service the crawl spaces and charged us extra (they don’t on any of these points for liability reasons or just had NO idea what we were talking about when referencing everything Eli sold us).

He also said they would pay our other pest control early cancel fees and when I called to see if this happened I was told by their sales team they have never heard of this happening in the six years he has worked there. He even told us he was getting engaged that night so he could really use the sale, which I now believe was also a lie and a ploy to make us feel bad for him. He also texted my husband at midnight about this when we reached out. Yikes! Stay away. Not to mention- we have photos of the terrible web removal job they did and our entire interaction on Ring camera which we will be providing to our lawyers. My husband is in sales and we understand what it’s like but you can’t outright make things up and then stop answering.

Spoke with the representative name Mona and her manager Emily. Extremely unprofessional and untrained to be in customer service. I hope the company pull up the recording between 9:02 am - 9:20 am on 5/17/2025 for their training. They have such a difficult process to just cancel the service. I’ve already reached out to them more than 3 times for this request. Still waiting for their customer activate department to call back.

Review Title: Disappointed and Misled – A Warning About White Knight Pest Control. I feel obligated to share my experience with White Knight Pest Control to warn others about what I believe are highly questionable business practices. What seemed like a convenient, affordable service turned into a frustrating and costly lesson.

High-Pressure Sales and Misleading Promises. A representative came to my door offering a “limited-time discount” if I signed up immediately. I was told it was a no-risk agreement and that I could cancel anytime if I wasn’t satisfied. Trusting the professionalism of the sales rep, I agreed—only to later find out this wasn’t true.

$250 Cancellation Fee – Not Disclosed Up Front. When I decided to cancel after repeated service issues, I was blindsided by a $250 early termination fee. This fee was never clearly disclosed during the sales pitch, and it was buried in the fine print of a digital contract I was pressured to sign on the spot. It felt deceptive and intentionally misleading.

Inconsistent and Minimal Service. The treatments themselves were inconsistent at best. Sometimes they skipped areas they had committed to cover. On more than one occasion, the technician arrived, did a quick spray around the exterior, and left within 10 minutes—hardly the “comprehensive” service they advertise. My pest problem persisted, and attempts to get timely follow-up were met with delays or no-shows. Unhelpful Customer Support. When I contacted customer service about both the inadequate service and the cancellation issue, they were polite but unhelpful. They stuck firmly to company policy and offered no accountability or flexibility, even after I explained the misleading nature of the initial agreement.

Bottom Line: White Knight Pest Control locked me into a contract with hidden fees, delivered inconsistent service, and charged a $250 cancellation fee when I tried to leave. I would strongly advise others to avoid signing anything without carefully reading all terms—and better yet, look for a more transparent and reliable provider.

Signed up with White Knight, was dissatisfied with the products used (carcinogenic), and then spent weeks trying to cancel them even though I provided a written cancellation request within 24-hours of signing up. Highly recommend people don't use their service with so many better options in the market.
