Finding Victory Home Remodeling wasn’t difficult; their name popped up on a review website that I trust, which led me to explore their offerings further. The sales representative was professional and informative, explaining their services in detail and even demonstrating the materials they use. They were able to start work on the roof the week after our discussion and completed the job within the timeline they promised. I work during the weekdays, so I didn't witness the work firsthand, but returning home to a brand-new roof was satisfying.

They first replaced the gutters, and seeing their excellent work prompted me to proceed with the roof. Although their pricing is higher than some competitors, the quality of their work and the peace of mind they offer with their guarantees made it a worthy investment.

Pricing was the only aspect where I felt some improvement is possible but the website was user-friendly, earning 5 stars for ease of use and navigation.

I was also impressed with the product they sold. First, I bought five windows and the products were superior to anything I had looked at prior to that in years past. When the windows were installed, the workers were on time. They gave me a window and they were here 20 minutes before their expected time. Actually, I had gone out to them because I thought there was something wrong that they didn't come in. But they said they were early and that they were just waiting. So I went out and told them to begin. They also cleaned up after themselves and everything was top dollar. I hadn't had windows installed in over 30 years and I didn't know what to expect, but these people were on the money, polite, and very accommodating. We continued to do another project with them because I was very satisfied with the first, so I also got them to do the roof installation.

I would tell my friends to start the process with them. They don't have to say yes just because Victory's reps come out, but just start the process and see if they don't agree that Victory's people are very honest about their process. I had them here for the windows and a roof installation in September and October. During those two months, things really shook me up because I needed things done, but it was extremely less stressful for me because of the people that were sent out to do the work.

The initial gentleman that came in was very thorough. He did a great job at explaining everything, like the quality of the product, checking out our property, and pointing out some things that we didn't even realize were going on with our windows. It was just a little lengthy, but overall, he did an excellent job. The only reason we didn't sign up with him was because at that time, the financing terms that were presented weren't the best. The rate was too high and if I didn't make that decision then and there, the payment almost doubled. So I was a little hesitant there.

When the next gentleman came in because there were some new terms available, I told him, "Listen, if you can make it to a price that's affordable, I have no problem getting you guys to do the thing." He delivered. He was very polite when he came in. He checked up my property line just to make sure that the initial rep did his part. It was another pleasant experience. So I signed right then and there. He wasn't pushing me to sign. He was kind of surprised when I said, "We'll do it." So that was nice. When the installation team came here, they absolutely professional. Any time they entered or exited, they made sure that they announced themselves coming in. They just worked and then cleaned up after themselves. They were polite and pleasant to deal with. I'm happy with my windows. I haven't had any issues since.

There was no pressure until he got to that point. He came to 10,600. I said to the guy, “If you can do it for 10, I'll take it.” He did. He called his manager. Twenty minutes later, he said, “Okay. We can do it for 10,000.” He went from 16,000 to 11,000. He said, “To 10,000,” which was the number. It was a good deal now all of a sudden. We just wanted to come out an even number there. We decided, looking into it with Andersen, what we would spend and which ones we had to do.

Victory did six replacement windows. They had a crew come in. There were three rooms, six windows, because there were double windows in each room. They had five guys. The one guy was the foreman. He told them what to do. They knew what they were doing. There were little things that had to be tweaked. And he did the cleanup, which was very impressive. We asked questions. He was very patient.

The only hiccup I encountered was that the initial crew did not speak English, and I couldn't communicate my concerns about avoiding certain areas of the roof. I insisted on waiting until a manager arrived who could communicate with me, and soon after, work resumed smoothly. The manager agreed it was vital for effective communication, and once that was resolved, everything went exceptionally well.

During the installation, the team replaced not just the shingles, but also the underlying rotted wood. They were very cautious about safety, debris, and cleanup, which I appreciated considering my concerns about flat tires or debris left behind. Furthermore, they were professional throughout, even exceeding expectations by installing gutters and even repurposing an old gutter for my garage.

Overall, my experience with Victory Home Remodeling was positive, and I would highly recommend them to others. I was especially satisfied with their customer service. As for the cost of the windows, I found it to be reasonable.
