Lauren from Terminix manages our outside spraying. She is very professional and does an excellent job. We also have yearly inspections and a dehumidifier under our house, which are handled proficiently.
I have been using Terminix since 1976 and the service has significantly improved over the years. Five to six years ago, the service was not as reliable. We experienced some issues when one of the crawl spaces was not sprayed for termites for a couple of years, leading to damage. At that time, a manager handled our case, and unfortunately, I found him untrustworthy. However, since then, the team has been different, and the service improved immensely.
Today, I am very pleased with the service we receive. If there is ever an issue, we call, and they respond promptly. Lauren and her husband, who might also be part of the management, have been a tremendous asset. I would trust their work 100% and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Terminix.

Setting up the service went smoothly, and I found the Terminix technician to be outstanding during the last service call.

I had a mouse infestation in my attic and concerns about possible carpenter ants. It turned out that there were no ants, but the mice issue needed addressing. Terminix responded promptly, and after their visit, I've noticed a significant decrease in insect activity around my home. Although no carpenter ants were present, my concern was handled professionally as they mentioned potential migration. I've been using their service for about two months, largely through special one-time calls rather than a yearly plan. The sign-up process was straightforward, and I completed it online. So far, I am satisfied with their service, and based on my positive experience, I would recommend them.

I knew Terminix's name brand. My experience with them has been largely positive, though admittedly limited. I have a quarterly service for pest control so I don’t regularly interact with the team much, apart from being notified in advance when they’ll be coming by. This allows me to prepare my space for them to conduct their treatments, especially in key areas like a shared wall between my garage and kitchen. When I first joined their service, the quarterly inspection fee was around $80 but has since increased to roughly $140, which was not communicated to me beforehand. That’s something I’d certainly point out as an area for improvement. Despite that, I have seen a definite improvement in pest activity around my property. If asked for a recommendation, I’d highlight that Terminix completes their treatments reliably and communicates effectively with advance notice of their visits, which is very helpful.

We used Terminix quite a bit in the past and was satisfied with their service. Then for some reason, we got dropped. Eventually, we returned to Terminix this summer after trying another company and finding their service lacking. I am primarily using their services for our residential home, specifically addressing insect issues in the backyard.
Though the technicians seem to change frequently, I don't have any problem with the service cost. Terminix has responded well to our calls, and while the season seems to play a role in insect activity, as evident by fewer ants lately, I'm generally pleased with their responsiveness and service.

I feel that I completely wasted my money with Terminix. After a year of being under contract, my issue with mice inside the house has still not been resolved. When I first spoke with their agent, I was told that the problem was “not a big issue” because there were only a few mice. However, a year later, the problem continues. Despite them deducting payments from my account every month, they only come out when I request a visit — not on a regular schedule as I expected. The traps and bait they provided did not work, and there has been no lasting improvement. Overall, I’m very disappointed with the service and would not recommend Terminix to anyone looking for reliable pest control.

I've relied on the services of Terminix for many years now, all because of the challenging pest situation due to the numerous trees around my house. Since choosing them, I've been incredibly comfortable with their professionalism, and I haven't encountered any issues. I particularly appreciate that I don't have to handle scheduling. Terminix takes care of everything seamlessly. They send a text message a day before their scheduled visit, ensuring everything is on track without any worries on my part. I have a lot of trees around my house and I don't go outside. I've been using Terminix's services since I bought my house over 40 years ago, and they’ve always delivered a quality experience. The team of representatives who come for inspections has been consistent and reliable.
However, my primary concern with Terminix is the pricing. Over the years, the cost has steadily increased from something manageable to what I now find to be quite expensive for a simple 15 to 20-minute inspection. While the service effectiveness and professionalism have remained top-notch, this constant rise in price has become a growing concern for me.
Despite my issues with the price, I did recommend Terminix to my daughter. Overall, my primary dissatisfaction stems solely from the pricing aspect, not the quality of service.

Terminix usually sends the same technician, although there seems to be a rotation between two or three individuals. They come out monthly to ensure everything is in order and the last visit was good. They've been effective in keeping pests away and every interaction with their customer service has been a good experience, which I appreciate a lot. Their website is also easy to navigate and use. If a friend or family member asked for my opinion on Terminix, I'd definitely recommend them.

The Terminix technician who came for the termite inspection was excellent and very nice. I have a regular schedule for service calls, which has been convenient. The professionalism and courteousness of the technician were commendable, and I couldn't be happier with their service. I had an issue with their service many years ago when they were doing my yard years back. The guy spilled something and killed my grass in that area. But my current experience with their termite service has been satisfactory.

Initially great service, then fizzled to a ZERO due to failure to communicate and below-minimum follow-up service provision. The ‘pest control’ visit times were logged by the service providers (when they did show up) at 4” and 7” respectively, consistent with the incompletions.

Very poor service, the ** taking the calls never updated my phone or email. After telling no charges on my credit card until after the service, within seconds, it came into my bank. She did get the correct info on my credit card. The date was Friday. I woke up at 4 am. I was told they would be here at 8 am. At 8:45 no show. I called. I was told Monday at 9 to 11 am. If this is how they run this business, I am very concerned about their work. Call someone else.

I needed a treatment specifically for bees and Terminix took care of it back in August. The whole experience was seamless from start to finish. During their visit, they addressed the bee issue efficiently, and since then, I haven't encountered any further problems. This was my first time opting for a specialized plan, and I was pleased with the results.
If a friend or family member asked about my experience with Terminix, I'd confidently tell them that the service works. Though I've only used their service once, I wouldn't hesitate to call on them again if needed. My overall satisfaction with the service would definitely encourage me to recommend them.
As for the cost, I rated it a 3 out of 5, feeling that it was just about average. But beyond the price, the company's effective handling of the situation was the standout feature of my experience.

I'm based in Florida and I've been a Terminix customer for about nine years. The technician who typically checks on our property has consistently proven to be highly reliable. I recently used their service in the tenting of my house and the process went exactly as planned. They provided clear instructions on what to pack up and how long we needed to vacate the house. Everything was well organized and on schedule. The entire tenting process required us to be out of the house for three days, starting at 9 in the morning and allowing us to return exactly three days later.

I've stayed with Terminix for 25 years largely due to competitive pricing and the value we receive, as well as their dependable responses when we need them. The technicians have also been impressive—always polite, respectful of our property, and they notify us ahead of time so we can prepare our home, especially with having dogs around. Poor in every area, even fraudulent.
2) It’s impossible to schedule a technician to come out, even after repeated calls.
3) Cancelling procedure is a fraud; they will not cancel the service until a technician calls to pick up the bait stations, but technicians DO NOT call after repeated requests. This is their way of automatically billing you. It’s fraudulent.

They never showed up but they did charge my card for two months. They told me that they would come every two weeks. No one ever showed up. I would text them and they wouldn’t answer. Really bad service.

Their effectiveness is great. Their scheduling is horrible. They don't show up half the time. The other half of the time, they show up unannounced. But when they do show up, their treatment takes care of the problem.

Honestly, I was expecting to have a better experience with trying to get an inspection and service set up with Terminix. Prior to my own experience I haven’t heard anything good or bad regarding this company. I’ve scheduled an inspection on three different occasions. My first one was canceled in an email was sent to me stating the timeslot I selected to have a home inspected was not available and that I will be contacted to reschedule in which no one ever contacted me to reschedule. I went on the website the following day to schedule another appointment and received a text message stating that someone would be at my house to do my inspection between the hours of one and three no one ever showed up so I called the one 800 number to see where the inspector was and was told he was 30 minutes out and the inspector still never showed up.
I called the following day to let them know no one ever showed up and was told over the phone that a new inspection would be scheduled the following day in the afternoon and no one still ever showed up even though I was home both times all day waiting. I hate that this was my experience because I wanted to get my attic inspected as well as get an estimate to have treatment in my yard and around my house. As much as I would love to have my service done with these guys it just seems to be a constant issue with getting someone to even come out and give me an estimate which is bizarre. Maybe other people have had good experiences, but I can’t really say that mine is starting out great so maybe I should just trust my good and go with someone else.

I went with Terminix for mouse exclusion services, and overall, I have had a generally positive experience with them. The technician, Brian, usually takes care of addressing the problem, which has been ongoing not just in the house but also in the crawl space. He does a commendable job in attempting to seal up areas to prevent mice from entering. Although the work they do is effective, the main challenge has been scheduling, given that we are located in Buena Vista, Colorado, while their nearest office is in Colorado Springs. Fortunately, having the technician's direct contact helps occasionally circumvent the slightly cumbersome process of going through their central number.
I've been with Terminix for around three to four years, and I'm mostly satisfied with the professional service provided by the technicians, even though communicating with their central scheduling system can be a bit frustrating.
I would give the technician a full 5 for quality service. In terms of pricing, I'd rate them a 3 since the mouse exclusion service has been quite reasonably priced, but other services felt steep. Overall, the on-ground service, especially from technicians like Brian, keeps me content with Terminix, despite the minor logistical issues.

Terminix focuses on treating the exterior of my house, which they accomplished effectively without needing to enter my home. On a previous occasion, they did provide an indoor treatment, which I found to be quite satisfactory.
Having been with Terminix for about three months now, I would recommend them to family and friends. In terms of my overall satisfaction, I would rate them a solid 4 out of 5.
Being familiar with customer service due to my own experience in the field, I would rate their customer service and quality of work a 4 as well. As for the pricing, which is always an important factor, I find it to be reasonable and would rate it a 3, conveying that it's satisfactory.
I've also used their website, which I found to be user-friendly and straightforward to navigate, earning it a 3 in terms of layout and response. However, I feel that they could improve by developing an app for even more convenient access to services.

Terminix customer service is the worst. Other than regular scheduled maintenance, the technician whom we love, every single time I call for an unscheduled service no one shows up. To boot, every year they say a free inspection comes with my contract. That person has never shown up either. When I called to complain, the woman hung up on me. So done.

Roof Destroyed by Terminix – Gross Negligence.
Terminix fumigated my home in April 2025 and caused catastrophic roof damage.
Pre-fumigation: 46 broken tiles.
Post-fumigation: 182 broken tiles.
Physical inspection: +54 more tiles + underlayment/flat roof failure.
Repairs exceeded $19,500. Terminix tried to deflect with waivers, but under California law, waivers do not excuse gross negligence.
Homeowners beware – my roof was serviceable before fumigation, but Terminix left it in shambles and refuses accountability.

On 09/10/25 Terminix came to my house to treat wasp. My receipt indicated that they will be back on 9/22/2025. Today is 09/24/25 and they still haven't returned and there is more wasp then when they cane out. After calling and was told that they will be out on 9/25/25 and didn't receive and message about my upcoming appointment I call only to be told my appointment is scheduled for 9/25/25 between 5pm and 7pm and they don't provide service that late. Now I should wait for a call which could take 24 to 48 hours and they don't work on weekends. I then ask for a refund so I could call another company and was told no because they provide the service. My reply was there is more wasp in my doorway than before you came out so what am I paying for.

They forgot to cancel my commercial service in Clermont Florida and then spammed me and sent a million letters and calls demanding money. I talked to the rep numerous times and I said, "Please let me know how much I owe and I will pay it." They never got back to me but continued to go after me with collections. Run like hell! They are not an honest company.

Useless service. Didn't control mice even after 13 months, and 3 treatments. Wasted $1,500 with this incompetent company. Every time they come, apologize for something not done last time, pretend doing some small things like traps, promise that it will take care of the issue, but nothing works at all. I am now repenting doing 3 year contract. I asked for refund within 3 months at least for the future, but they won't even bother to respond. Total fraud company.
