Do not buy this product. Coating will come off on your food & they will deny a claim in regards to their implied warranty. If you want your food to be seasoned with the coating from these pans I suggest you buy them. If not I would definitely not recommend this product to anyone. It's a cheap made junk.

Just for context, I've had 3 sets of T-fal pans over the years. I am/was a loyal to the brand until this. I ordered a set of the new "Hybrid Mesh" pans directly from T-fal. When they arrived, I took one out, gave it a quick wash and tested it. First thing I noticed was, the inside upper rim of the pan is bare metal with no coating so, that part sticks no matter what. Once I tested it, the food stuck to the pan as though the pan was a regular steel pan. I took pictures and called customer service.
The person I spoke to was combative for some reason. She said there would be a restocking fee for returns. I told her they were defective and I wanted a refund or exchange. She told me I needed to send pictures of the pans so they could evaluate them. I asked if they wanted the pictures of the pan with the stuck food and they said no that I should wash them and send a picture of the clean pan.. So, I sent pictures of the BRAND NEW pans that appeared to be flawless. They replied saying they couldn't see anything wrong with them and I'd have to ship them back to New Jersey. I sent them back. That was almost a month ago. They say they are still "evaluating" the pans and they will email me with their results. Meanwhile, I have no pans and they have my money. Pretty awful experience.

The fry pan with non stick coating does not last long. Few months of occasional use and the coating is getting damaged. Only used wood spoon and no metal anything on it. Never went any higher than medium heat. I know non stick pans do not last forever but I should get at least a year of use out of it. The basic non stick coating Tfal uses is weak. Do not buy Tfal. If you must have non stick pan, buy Calphalon, Circulon or Oxo. Cost more but their pans last much longer than the tfal junk.

Contacted T-Fal customer service and they replaced the pan with a better one right away. Customer service was great. Pan is not blistering and seems to be of good quality.

I literally just used this skillet once and washed it by hand to discover the coating was peeling right before my eyes. I only cooked vegetables with olive oil, used a wooded spatula and can't believe this is peeling so badly.

I bought a set for myself and for my son and daughter for Christmas. The handles constantly need tightened because they come loose. Not safe at all! This happens on all of our pots and pans bought. I would never buy another one. That’s for sure!!!

Hello y'all, well I purchased a 8" inch T-Fal frying pan not too long ago. Actually early this year 2024, note I only use nylon utensils and never used metal utensils in all my non stick cookware. So my 8" inch frying pan has had a couple of spots where the non stick coating is coming off. Emailed and contacted by phone about this problem and all they did was give me asinine excuses telling me it's not considered under warranty. Also note I've never had this problem with other T-fal cookware, so just off the phone with customer service and told her I'll leave a not so good review! And here it is. Don't buy/purchase T-fal cookware! They eventually don't warranty their products! I myself will refrain from purchasing any and all t - fal products.

Buyer beware. Likely the worst customer service ever. Called to inquire about a replacement grate for air fryer as the original “5 months” old was peeling. Was told I was using abrasive materials and not covered. I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was told it’s summer time. They are all on vacation. When I asked for the representative's name she ended the call. Will be returning and buying a Ninja, they stand behind their product.

T-Fal was a disappointment from beginning to end. The pans I bought are clearly defective, they bent over less than 1 week of use and when I tried to use the "warranty" they said I should pay for the pan to be delivered to them for "evaluation". The sending fee is more expensive than those pans. I guess that is what you get when you are scammed.

The "lifetime guarantee" is bogus. I have (had) a 12" fry pan, and the surface is no longer non-stick and some coating has been peeling away. This is a scam, T-fal is a crap brand and you'd better off with Calphalon or even those blue pans at Walmart. T-fal: you suck!

I purchased the set of three T-Fal non stick fry pans and in a short time they all started peeling bits of the non stick coating. I contacted T-Fal sent pictures and they said it is just normal wear and tear and not covered by the warranty! NORMAL USE NOT COVERED!! HOW INSANE. They were rude and straight out lied. I will never buy T-Fal again.

I have had my cookware for awhile and until now I have not had an issue. Last night, 12/3/23, I was bent over taking a baking dish out of the dishwasher, the lid was next to it, as I was bent over picking it up the T-Fal lid EXPLODED. My face was right next to it. It popped very loud and glass flew across the kitchen!!!! Glass was in my dishwasher and all over the floor. I called to speak to a manager and they told me the lids aren't covered under warranty! I don't care about the warranty. I won't use them again. I wanted to speak to a manger. She told me that they aren't available but one would TRY to get back with me in 1 or 2 days! What if my 2 year old grandson was next to me. The glass could have hurt him! Now I'm scared to use my dishwasher. I think I got it all but nothing is guaranteed! If anyone knows how to reach someone to address this issue I would greatly appreciate it. My email is **. Thank you.

I was cooking 2 lbs of meatballs this weekend and the glass lid exploded everywhere. I cut up my fingers cleaning all the glass. My dinner was ruined. I washed the pot five times and it still had glass in it, so I had to throw it away. I called customer service this morning and the guy stated there was nothing he could do. I am so disappointed and will never buy T-fal again. DO NOT BUY FROM T-FAL, THEY DO NOT STAND BY THEIR PRODUCT!

Boiling a pot of water on my induction stove usually takes less than a minute with pots I’ve used before. BUT with the T-Fal pots they take about 5 minutes or longer. The pots are black in colour. I am dissatisfied as a customer, and would not recommend this brand for pots.

I purchased a 10.5 inch Pro Grade T-Fal Titanium Non-Stick pan. It was great for 1 month and then I began to see pitting. Then I started counting the pits. I stopped using the pan when about a dozen appeared. I use only wood or non-metal utensils on non-stick cookware even when it says "metal utensil safe". When I contacted T-Fal and sent them the requested photos, they said it was not a manufacturing defect and would not do anything.

I received this set s a gift for Mother's Day. Maybe 14 months later already 2 handles basically disintegrated in my hands with hot liquid in them!! Screw went flying and metal band hit the floor along with the handle and hot liquids!!!! Sent photos of my burns and the pots both times to their customer service department just asking if they could possibly FIX THE 2 THAT BROKE! Didn't say too much to them about the injuries after the rep was completely rude about it. TFAL you suck!!!! I should sue your **!!!!

So much for lifetime warranty - total lie! I purchased an 18-pc cookware set and when I opened the box, the dutch oven pot was actually oblong instead of round. The lid for the pot would not fit at all. When I called customer service, they claimed that the lifetime warranty was for manufacturing defects and would not cover me damaging the pot. The pot literally came out of the box bent, but they would not cover it because they believe I must have dropped it or something. Will NEVER buy T-Fal again and would suggest others stay away from it as well! T-Fal must be circling the drain if they are not even willing to back their craftsmanship.

Out of about 5 skillets & pots purchased, the handles are loose on 3. I have used a screwdriver to tighten it but it only lasts a week. It’s really dangerous especially when lifting cookware with hot contents. I’m afraid one day the handles will completely break out and I will get burned. I’ve only had these pieces about 9-10 months. I hate to get rid of them because they still look nice with the orange print on the outside bottom but I can’t risk my safety.

We liked our T-fal set at first but after 3 years we noticed the black Teflon coating was coming off the inside of our 4qt pot. We called T-fal and was told to submit a written claim with photos. We were then told that we had abused the cookware even though according to their response, that only this one piece was "experiencing use and care issues". We complained about the response and were then told that we had used a "Whisk" inside the pot and this has caused the coating to come off. If we paid for the pot to be returned they would evaluate it further. It was obvious they are refusing to honor their warranty. We will never buy another T-Fal product. My advice is to pay more and deal with an honest firm, or pay less and throw your pots away ever year or so. Just don't waste your money on a T-fal warranty!!!!

The pan I use the most no longer has the red heating dot and it is no longer non-stick after 1 year. When I say non-stick, I mean food sticks to the pan while cooking. I have to soak pan in water for 30-60 minutes to remove food. Although T-fal markets the pans as "scratch resistant," I still only use plastic and wood utensils. My quart sized pan has the black "scratch resistant" coating coming off along bottom edge in the pan.
When I wrote T-Fal, they said those are normal wear & tear issues and are not covered under their warranty. If this is so, then why do they market theses pans as "non-stick" and "scratch-resistant?" Basically, T-Fal markets pans as non-stick and scratch-resistant, but they are neither! Their customer service will deny all warranty claims as normal wear & tear.

Used to buy T-Fal frying pans and they seemed to be a good value. Lasted a few years and then time to replace. The last time I purchased t-fal pans the handles became loose after 20 days. I don't have the right tool to tighten the handles so I shipped them back to t-fal. After 3 weeks still waiting for t-fal to repair or replace the pans. Should not ever need to return a pan for such poor construction and lack of quality control. I will never replace any of my pans with t-fal again. Lack of quality and lack of customer support.

I purchased my T-Fal frying pan 13 months ago and the surface is peeling off witch is unsafe for use, I contacted the T-Fal warranty replacement department. They rejected my request. They blamed it on me even though it’s a manufacturer defect, very disappointed. They rather have me share my review with others instead of sending me a replacement and getting the defective item back to do research on it. Thanks.

When Sears went out of business, we purchased a T-Fal set, red with a black interior non-stick coating. Within weeks the black finish started flaking off although we were careful to use only wooden utensils. We complained and, to their credit, T-Fal sent a brand new set. The same thing happened within weeks on ALL the pieces, sauce pans, stock pot and frying pans with the non-stick finish flaking off. I can peel it off with my fingernails. For the finish to flake off is not only unsightly, but also, probably dangerous as the flakes can end up in your food without you even knowing it. I will never buy anything made my T-Fal again.

I purchased an Air Fryer approx. one and half years ago. The air fryer is great, I enjoy cooking with it. I am very disappointed though that the coating in the basket, and on the grill is peeling off. I certainly did not expect this and I wonder if this would be hazardous to one's health. I hope that TFal replaces this air fryer. I only cook for myself so it is not used every day. I am very very disappointed.

My family has been loyal to T-Fal pots and pans for many years. We have loved every pot and pan we bought from them. However this year I was gifted a set of T-Fal pots and pans ranging over $100.00. After some use which was less than a year as I was given it this year it became heavily damaged with peeling of the paint leaking onto the food. As we are all aware this can be very dangerous to your health. I have followed the directions on how to care for these pots and yet they fell short on completing its task for more than a couple of months.
Like anyone would do I reached out to T-Fal customer support in which I waited over 3 days for a response only to be told by Sarah how she would not help me and how this was my fault. After much communication I was only getting the run around and told then that I can send my pots to them for inspection of defects but that I would have to pay for it to be sent and back. How is this in any way, shape or form proper treatment to a customer? Unfortunately I am out two pots and refuse to take the risk of harming my family with peeling pots. I would just like to add that I have only used plastic utensils on these pots as well.

Spent nearly $200 on a T-Fal Opti Grill. Pampered it just as I do all of my appliances. Manual control began to malfunction. They ONLY correspond by email; phone calls lead nowhere! Customer Service is pathetic! There is not even a hint of understanding of, or empathy with, the problem you may have with their product. They could care less! They sing only ONE song... and that is, "Tough Luck! If you want it repaired, you will have to pay for it, including all the shipping costs!" I will NEVER, NEVER, NEVER buy another T-Fal product as long as I live. And although I don't like to wish bad fortune on anyone... I can honestly say, I hope this company goes bankrupt and ceases to exist!

We have had several different types of cookware over 40 years and we find that T-Fal is great for everyday use. The price is a bit higher than some but you have to pay it in order to get good quality cookware that is also durable. The cookware set we have is over ten years and it still produce the same quality as if they were new. Following the directions for use will sustain the cookware for many years and it may last another ten years if we use care when cooking and cleaning it. I would recommend this cookware to anyone looking for a great product if cost is not an issue. When I need to buy cookware again, I will definitely buy T-Fal especially since it is worth the money.
