The response to my concern was taken care of to my satisfaction with the exception of asking a question to get clarification and the Gary had to take a minute to find out for himself what it meant. He did provide me with what I needed to know, but that was not my understanding when I placed the order which I thought was monthly, but was charged within 16 days. This is length of time is too quick of a time frame to review what I already had.

I was charged twice in August for the same report, so I contacted the Records office to find out why I was charged twice. But two more subsequent charges were billed to my credit card that I had nothing to do with. I own one home in Fairfax County, and I am retired so I have no business requiring multiple reports. To be honest, I didn't understand the options that I was given when requesting records and I usually understand these things easily. I only wanted one record and didn't see an option to get that when I requested the record. Sandra resolved my issue quickly. She was excellent.

I ran a report on one property. At no point did the website or emails or account say that it was a subscription service. I was charged $30 for 4 months before I noticed the charges. They canceled and closed my account in about 3 second when I complained. I'm out of the system, no way to dispute the other charges. The speed of cancellation was way too quick..this happens on the daily. No way it would take less than a minute to cancel an account and get a discount on one of the charges. Company is a scam. Don't waste your money.

I found the information I was looking for, but it would have been nice to know that I was going to be charged $20 subsequently every month after. If there was a warning about a subsequent charge, it really should have been highlighted in red to stand out more.

While conducting business over the internet, I had to ship something to a person I didn't know and wanted to know if they legitimately owned the business, had an liens, problems, etc. I paid $10 for a single property record and it was great, had all the info I was looking for. BUT there was some confusion at checkout when I wanted to print the record, they wanted more money and I somehow signed up to a $30/month subscription.

Customer service was great, but I made the mistake of using this service for finding a copy of a trust deed, which is not something they provide. It wasn't until I paid their fees that their "expert" told me I should have checked directly with the L.A. County Recorder's Office for that document in the first place. I had mistakenly assumed they provided everything the Recorder's Office provides. FYI, a search starts with a $1 charge, but then various information require additional payments -- I ended up paying more than $50 for what turned out to be, for my purposes, useless information. Also, I thought I was signing up for one search, it turned out I signed up for $20 per month -- customer service was prompt and professional in closing my account.

The website provides extensive information on properties of interest. Price history and ownership is quite extensive. In addition, some personal information about the various owners is available. The service team on the chat responds immediately and they are quite helpful.

I requested information on a property and received the report for only 1$. It was great and just what I needed so that I can put an offer for my 1st home. I then realized I was signed up as a subscription but wasn't sure how to cancel that. The online chat was live and very helpful. I am not happy that Property Record billed me for 5 months when I didn't use the service, but I am happy that the chat assistant was able to quickly locate my account, explain the charges, and close the account. Some services are very difficult to end and this one was at least upfront and efficient once I noticed the monthly billing.

I needed an electronic copy of our deed and you were able to provide it quickly! The website is confusing but I was able to get what I needed. I was charged for several things because the explanation wasn’t very clear. Was charged $19, $18, $7 and $1. It was too many options to click and since the site wasn’t clear I clicked on 4 resulting in all the charges.

This company will charge you an initial fee of $1.00. If you do this, it automatically opens an account for you and will, without notice or authorization, charge you $20.00 monthly until you notice it and call them. I noticed the first extra charge and called immediately. Remains to be seen whether they follow through and cancel account/refund pending charge. Just. Stay. Away.

Original charge was $1. Then they charged $19. Today was another $20. Not a good scam at all. I’ll have to get a new card and dispute the charges. It’s such a disappointment to have people taken advantage of.

After my initial purchase, they continued to charge my credit card an additional $30 a month without my authorization. When I discovered it, I reported them to my credit card company and had the charges removed. I also got a new card so they can't keep charging me.

Quick and easy to use. I paid $1 to receive information on an address that I'm interested in. The report provided current and past residents and owners. I needed to verify who the owner is of this particular property located in Nebraska. The report was emailed to me and was informative.

This company takes unauthorized payments (money) from consumers accounts until you notice it. If goes unnoticed they will continue to steal money out of your account! How they can do this to people and sleep at night is an absolute disgrace!

The reports offered are very detailed. The payment process could be better by verifying the total charge before processing, however the chat assistance are very helpful and are able to quickly resolve issues and helping with any accidental overcharges that might occur while trying to process your basic payment.

Agent responded promptly and took action to process my refund request which I believe will appear on my credit card within 3 to 5 days. I will be checking my credit card statement to confirm. The agent took prompt action and was very helpful and I would recommend using this service to my associates.

I've continued to get charged monthly for a subscription I never signed up for. In order to cancel you have to have the email you signed up with. But they don't have my email in their database so I have no way to contact support as is listed above, no way to login to platform. No way to retrieve my lost login.

They double the advertised charge from $1.00 to $2.00, then charge my credit card $20.00 for some "Bundle" thing I never agreed to. The information they provided was incomplete and was useless to me. So far I have not been able to get a refund for the $20.00. or $1.00. The other $1.00 I am willing to pay for not researching how bad they are.

She was very helpful and knowledgeable of my problem and resolved it immediately with professionalism. She explained their search request process and was able to issue a credit to my credit card and assist me in closing the account.

There was not a super visible way to cancel so had to click the chat button, but the customer service was helpful and very quick! The website worked great but I just don't use it enough to justify the cost. It never sent an email or anything that gave me any account information.

A friend was apartment hunting and the application needed the landlord's information of phone number, fax, email and Name of their present apartment dwelling. Since they did not want to alert to the reason why they needed that information by asking the landlord, I found this website that would give me the information needed for the application without alerting the landlord that they were considering moving.

After paying for a basic property report, I was still unable to find the parcel number. I already had the Block, Lot and Filing numbers, but the parcel number was required for an application I am filing. I was asked if I had further questions and entered my request for a parcel number. The site is a scam. Despite using language like "$1 ONE-TIME PAYMENT", they start billing you for $20 a month without any email receipt or notification of any kind. I didn't notice the charge for several months and they now refuse to refund me, claiming the checkout page informs you about this "subscription". I've gone through the checkout experience again to prove my case (there's not a single mention of "subscription", "trial", "cancel" as they claim), but they still refuse to refund me. It sounds like if you catch it quick enough, you can "cancel" the thing you didn't sign up for, but the company is very much preying on people who don't keep a close eye on their credit card statements.

I requested a property report from this company, which allegedly charged me a one-time fee of $1.00 in October 2024. Today, I was surprised to see a $20.00 charge from them. Concerned, I went to their website to investigate, but I didn’t remember my password, so I had to request a link to access my account. Once I signed into my account, I found no options available to cancel my subscription; the only choice was to chat with an agent. Furthermore, after reviewing my email correspondence, I did not receive any notification indicating a transaction order number or that I would be subject to recurring charges. When I brought this to the attention of the agent, she claimed that the only way to cancel my account is by calling, which is misleading. This lack of transparency and accessibility regarding account management and cancellation procedures is unacceptable.

Be AWARE. STAY AWAY from them! These guys taking your credit card information and using it to charge you every month with your permission.… I’m in process to cancel their transactions with my bank now.

There was a listing of homes on my street, but did not include my name or the names of some of my neighbors that moved in before me, but one or two after me. Do you do updated lists in the future?
