In our paperless world I could benefit greatly from accurate records available online. Inevitably I am disappointed with search results. Frustrated l started the chat. Carol answered immediately. No wait. She explained how your company has limited access to all criminal records. She also quickly explained my account is closed and $1 refund has been issued. She was professional and helpful. I worked at a call center for more than 10 years. These live chat agents represent the business as much as a brick and mortar office building employees or a service desk. KUDOS Carol! Give her a raise! If that's not in the budget, go buy her some cheese popcorn from the vending machine.

I recently ordered a property report for $1, but I appeared I got charged $9.95 when I checked my credit card. Now my card got hit with a recurring charge of $1 from PROPERTYREC.COM. I tried calling the 24/7 support but no answer. I tried the Live Chat, and I immediately got a message from Rachel in customer service. She was very helpful in cancelling my account and refunded the errant charges. Thank you!

Fantastic. I was being charged reoccurring for something I was not supposed to be. I was getting wound up for an argument like it normally is when you try to get your money back from fine print charges. But he was very kind patient and quick. The problem was solved as quick as it arose and I was promptly refunded in under 5 minutes after providing my information.

Do not ever recall signing up for this service or using it even once. Showed up as a reoccurring charge at $20 a month for information you can easily get at your County Tax Assessor's office for free and the tax assessor's web page for free. This is a scam.

The response to my concern was taken care of to my satisfaction with the exception of asking a question to get clarification and the Gary had to take a minute to find out for himself what it meant. He did provide me with what I needed to know, but that was not my understanding when I placed the order which I thought was monthly, but was charged within 16 days. This is length of time is too quick of a time frame to review what I already had.
Gary was thoroughly in closing out my account so I would no longer be charged that quickly. He even sent a confirmation email letting me know I would not be charged again. What I purchased was not what I thought I would be getting and I was very disappointed because I already had what was sent to me. I am not reviewing my disappointment of what was sent to me by Propertyrec.com, I'm reviewing my experience with Gary and he did exactly what I asked, even taking the time to find the answer to my question.

I directly contacted Propertyrec.com after I saw two credit card charges from them. I had no idea who they were, but one charge was legitimate since I did a paid look-up of a property which PropertyRec provided proof of. I'm not leaving a 5-star review because it appears that I was put in some sort of recurring charge situation when I did just a one-time query. Apparently, the second charge will be refunded, and my account should be closed. The on-line chat was very helpful.

On 28 Jul, I used the online records tool to get a historical record of my property. I was charged twice in August for the same report, so I contacted the Records office to find out why I was charged twice. Today is the second time I've tried to get a billing discrepancy fixed use the Chat function. The first time, I was told I had a credit issued, and I thought the issue was settled. But two more subsequent charges were billed to my credit card that I had nothing to do with. I own one home in Fairfax County, and I am retired so I have no business requiring multiple reports. The chat function quickly found my account and credited my card $40 for the spurious charges. Thank you. I hope this closes the issue.

I ran a report on one property. At no point did the website or emails or account say that it was a subscription service. I was charged $30 for 4 months before I noticed the charges. They canceled and closed my account in about 3 second when I complained. I'm out of the system, no way to dispute the other charges. The speed of cancellation was way too quick..this happens on the daily. No way it would take less than a minute to cancel an account and get a discount on one of the charges. Company is a scam. Don't waste your money.

There were a few notations on the property as far as Owners/Residents that I had no clue about but that's to be expected. While conducting business over the internet, I had to ship something to a person I didn't know and wanted to know if they legitimately owned the business, had an liens, problems, etc. I paid $10 for a single property record and it was great, had all the info I was looking for. BUT there was some confusion at checkout when I wanted to print the record, they wanted more money and I somehow signed up to a $30/month subscription.
Discovered the extra charge 3 months later and thought I was screwed and would have to swallow it. Reached out to their support via Chat and Barbra acknowledged I hadn't used the subscription and it was an error so they closed my account and refunded my money. SO many websites trick you into signing up for something you don't want and screw you with recurring charges, so I was super surprised how honest/fair this company was at what happened. Highly recommend them first for the quality of the property report they generated and then the honest/fair treatment!

I rated a five because it's applied me with what I needed quickly and then when I realized that I was charged for the subscription fee the $5 fee which I did not want to happen I sent a message through their chat letting them know I needed to cancel my subscription and please be refunded the $5 and literally within 30 seconds, I had a very nice response with the information, the reference number with deleting my subscription and refunding my $5 just like that. It was so refreshing to have somebody do what they say they're going to do, so for that, I rate them a five. It was very refreshing.

Customer service was great, but I made the mistake of using this service for finding a copy of a trust deed, which is not something they provide. It wasn't until I paid their fees that their "expert" told me I should have checked directly with the L.A. County Recorder's Office for that document in the first place. I had mistakenly assumed they provided everything the Recorder's Office provides. FYI, a search starts with a $1 charge, but then various information require additional payments -- I ended up paying more than $50 for what turned out to be, for my purposes, useless information. Also, I thought I was signing up for one search, it turned out I signed up for $20 per month -- customer service was prompt and professional in closing my account.

The information you receive is legit and easy to access but that initial 1$ charge is just the beginning. They will automatically sign you up for a subscription service for 20 a month even though you have clicked nothing else. Monitor your credit card bill like a hawk and be ready to cancel. Maybe they have changed the wording so it's more clear since I've tried it but they definitely got some extra money off of me.

It’s all good. Make sure to close account after you get what you need because they do automatically add upgrades the next morning. I was surprised by this, but also equally surprised how easy it was to close my account and stop any more charges. They did get me for an extra $15, but overall it was good.

This company will charge you an initial fee of $1.00. If you do this, it automatically opens an account for you and will, without notice or authorization, charge you $20.00 monthly until you notice it and call them. I noticed the first extra charge and called immediately. Remains to be seen whether they follow through and cancel account/refund pending charge. Just. Stay. Away.

Exceptional service, I needed to close account I mistakenly signed up for so I logged into account and when I saw the link for support was chat option at 5am I was somewhat rude sadly. I was appalled by my behavior when I realized I reached an actual person “Barbra“ and she immediately located my account and remained highly professional and allowed me to terminate service and avoid upcoming charges. The reports offered are very detailed. The payment process could be better by verifying the total charge before processing, however the chat assistance are very helpful and are able to quickly resolve issues and helping with any accidental overcharges that might occur while trying to process your basic payment.

After paying for a basic property report, I was still unable to find the parcel number. I already had the Block, Lot and Filing numbers, but the parcel number was required for an application I am filing. I was asked if I had further questions and entered my request for a parcel number. The site is a scam. Despite using language like "$1 ONE-TIME PAYMENT", they start billing you for $20 a month without any email receipt or notification of any kind. I didn't notice the charge for several months and they now refuse to refund me, claiming the checkout page informs you about this "subscription". I've gone through the checkout experience again to prove my case (there's not a single mention of "subscription", "trial", "cancel" as they claim), but they still refuse to refund me. It sounds like if you catch it quick enough, you can "cancel" the thing you didn't sign up for, but the company is very much preying on people who don't keep a close eye on their credit card statements.

I requested a property report from this company, which allegedly charged me a one-time fee of $1.00 in October 2024. Today, I was surprised to see a $20.00 charge from them. Concerned, I went to their website to investigate, but I didn’t remember my password, so I had to request a link to access my account. Once I signed into my account, I found no options available to cancel my subscription; the only choice was to chat with an agent. Furthermore, after reviewing my email correspondence, I did not receive any notification indicating a transaction order number or that I would be subject to recurring charges. When I brought this to the attention of the agent, she claimed that the only way to cancel my account is by calling, which is misleading. This lack of transparency and accessibility regarding account management and cancellation procedures is unacceptable.
When I called customer service, the agent answered the phone asking, “Are you looking to cancel your account?” I confirmed that I wanted to cancel since I wasn’t aware I even had one. The agent asked to confirm my name and said she would proceed with the cancellation. When I pointed out that I had been charged for several months, she insisted that the charges were disclosed. I reminded her that website reflected it as a one-time fee, but she kept claiming that I had signed up for ongoing charges. I informed her of my plan to report them for this misleading practice to BBB, but she maintained that the information was visible.
Upon reviewing my credit card statement, I noticed multiple charges: $1, $7, and $9 on 10/8/2024, followed by a monthly $20 charge ever since. While they issued a refund for today’s charge, I expected a full refund for all unauthorized charges, as this practice is not only deceptive but also undermines customer trust. I will be reporting this to the appropriate authorities.

Was helped by the data specialist, Sarah and team. Am applying for a line of credit and the bank requested a copy of the deed of release and Sarah was able to provide me with the documentation within an hour! This saved me quite some time and effort. I had 1st called my original total agency and they were no help.

I contacted PropertyRec.com because I saw many charges on my credit card to them and had absolutely no idea what it was for. I had a chat with Rachel -- she looked me up and said I had some sort of subscription and offered to cancel it. Since I had no idea what the subscription was for I said yes, please cancel and she did. It was easy to cancel, but I still don't know what the service is or subscribing.

The information in their property report was accurate and easy to use. Each piece of contact information in their report was rated as to its likely accuracy. These ratings were realistic. The "highly-accurate" rated data was correct and up to date. The staff was very responsive and accommodating when I contacted them for assistance.

This company fraudulently charged my bank card for $20 ten days after I was on its website. And an additional $9 the day I was on the website and agreed to pay $1 for the owner's name of a property. They will not return my call.

Information was quick and easy to obtain. Some information was inaccurate and used my father’s name versus mine, since I’m a Jr. but confirmed with county that JR is on my property records. Overall, good basis to gather information quick.

Thank you for finding the owners of the property across the road from me. For a very long time I have had a problem with their bright spotlight shining through my bedroom window shade. I have now been able to contact them and ask if the light could be toned down or redirected.

When looking up property records in the public database I questioned the results as the builder said the attached unit next door had closed - Collier County records rechecked and confirmed that the online records were correct and the builder had given us misinformation and the unit had not had a deed issued yet.

Very easy to get a property records report with home address using PropertyRec.com. Included information about my Mom's home's worth, property taxes paid, and property details for her property AND nearby homes. The report didn't include information on over-payments of property taxes; there is an email function to reach an expert and I received a reply about over-payments within 24 hours. Thank you!

When I went online to obtain a copy of a 4 year old deed it was suggested that I purchase for a dollar a property report. Unfortunately the report did not show the exact legal name of the owner. However, I soon received an inquiry from the Clerk of the Court as to my search and I responded I still needed a copy of the actual deed. To my pleasant surprise he arranged for one of his assistants to send me a copy within hours. Very impressive.`

This was very useful. I found out and was able to print out items of interest to me on my new property. There was a listing of homes on my street, but did not include my name or the names of some of my neighbors that moved in before me, but one or two after me. Do you do updated lists in the future? And, can I get copies of other streets in this gated community? Thanks for all the information.
