The neighbors next to me a few years back hired Patio Enclosures, and they referred me. The sales process was great and I got some good deals that were going on at the time. I'm very satisfied with it. Installation was perfect too. I inspected the work myself, not that I know what I'm looking at, but it looks great and through all this crazy weather, so far, it's been perfect.

Patio Enclosures was pretty quick in planning out the job. It was within three to four weeks. We had a back patio that was attached to the house, and we just enclosed that. They got the installation done in a day. They did good work. I had a rep come by yesterday and take a look. It wasn't cheap. But you pay for quality. The only thing is that they were supposed to do a final inspection, and I've never been contacted for a final inspection.

It's great to know your project came together so quickly and that the installation team delivered a result you're happy with. I called Patio Enclosures using the number that I got off the website and within minutes, I got a phone call setting up an appointment. The salesman came a few days later, took a look at everything, and showed us an example, and a kit of how everything would work. After he was done, we went ahead and proceeded with Patio Enclosures. They told us it would take six to eight weeks. After we agreed, somebody came out and did a measurement within a few days and then everything was ordered.

The inside contact, Rhonda, kept in touch with us the whole time on the progress. We were told it'd be about two months out, and that was cut in half. Everything came in. She advised us, and then we set up a time for them to do that according to our schedule. The installers came out when they said they were gonna come out and got it done within that same day. Since then, the salesman came by and Rhonda followed up afterwards to see how everything was. The salesman stopped by earlier this week to see how everything was. So, overall, we're pretty pleased.

Everything went pretty well. My wife loves it. That's her favorite room in the house. After the fact, Patio Enclosures mentioned something that they have some sort of promotional condo package that we're entitled to. I'm trying to get more information about that because I'm not quite sure how that works. So, that's the only thing that's kind of up in the air. But it has no reflection on anything else about Patio Enclosures.

Rhonda's communication and follow-through, along with the continued support from your salesperson, reflect the level of service we strive to provide every day. We've had a back porch that's been uncomfortable because the screens kept getting torn, and we kept replacing them. It wasn't a fun space to be in. We wanted a nice space. Our experience with Patio Enclosures was very good. The salesman we worked with was Tyler, and he was wonderful. I kept getting the phone calls. I had a little trouble because they told me a date, but then nobody ever called to tell me when or how. And that was the frustration with Patio Enclosures. I kept having to call them. Then they told me a day, and then the guy didn't show up until 1:00 that afternoon. I didn't understand that he had to go and check out the materials and load them in Birmingham, and then drive the two and a half hours to Columbus.

But even when I called, and they said, "Oh, he says he's an hour and a half out,” that was at 10:00 or 11:00. And he still didn't get there until 1:00. So, it was just the frustration of thinking somebody was gonna be there working, and rearranging my schedule so I was there, and then didn't come. But they got it done the next day, and they did an excellent job.

The one complaint I have is that, about a week after that, we found some of the wood that they had torn out with nails in it back in those woods. But the finished product is amazing. I love it. I would recommend them to friends. The salesman was spot on about how long it would be before they called me and could get the finished product to me and get it set up. The people from the office were also very nice when they called about payments.

I already had a screened-in porch that I spend a lot of time out there. I intended to get retractable vinyl windows. I saw Patio Enclosures on social media, and I called them to get a pricing quote. Then they came out and gave me some options and shared with me the value of making an investment in something a little more reliable. We then came to an agreement and a plan that worked for me, and we did it.

The installation was really good and quick. I didn't expect them to finish so quickly. The work was better than I expected. There was just one thing, which was a scratch on the glass. It was toward the corner, and it really didn't matter to me. But the guy said, “No, we want you to be completely satisfied, so we'll reorder just that glass.” So they did that. They came back out and installed it. It's been great, and I've gotten so many compliments on the space.

The guy who came out was on time. He was there very early to start the work. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He gave me a lot of insight about how he was gonna do the work. He reassured me that for the areas where he had taken the wood down, they would repaint it to make it look nice. For me, that was going above and beyond. Also, the fact that he pointed out the scratched glass. Initially, I was just happy. I didn't see it. But he pointed it out, and for me, that says a lot about the work that he did and the company. So, that was a highlight for me. He brought it to my attention, which tells me that Patio Enclosures is a company that's trustworthy and reliable, and on the up and up. So, I really appreciated that.

I found Patio Enclosures online when I was doing some searching. I reviewed a lot of the online photos and found something compatible with the project I was planning on doing. So, I went ahead and contacted them. All the folks I dealt with there, even the salesman, were very good. I was pleased with everything. I had a screen-in porch, and the pollen gets heavy in April and May. And we wanted to have an enclosed three season room. The thing that surprised me was how quickly it was that the whole project was completed. They started building the equipment at the factory and it was within four weeks. The actual installation was a couple of days. It was outstanding. It turned out well, especially once we ended up contacting Empire Today to finish off the flooring. It's a big difference. We're very pleased by it. I would recommend contacting Patio Enclosures, and I would show my room.

I was going to wait until they got things corrected but after 10 months of trying to have my enclosed porch completed, I cannot wait. The constant changes in personnel and poor communication has gotten ridiculous. First, they had the wrong screens, and one of the screen doors kept falling off the track. It took three months to get the right parts and "correct" it. Then water kept leaking in through just about every seam. A couple more months to fix that, and guess what, still not fixed. Waited for someone to come out again, look at the problem, say they were going to order new parts and schedule them to be installed. They would contact me and let me know.

Three weeks later, and I had to contact them and was promised a call; I'm still waiting. The installation originally began in August 2025, and we are at the very end of May 2026. Meanwhile, I keep getting statements for payment that isn't going to happen until this is completed correctly, whatever year that turns out to be. I see a call to an attorney in my future.

We sincerely apologize for the frustration and delays you’ve experienced. A site visit has been completed, and it was determined that several foam knee wall units were not installed correctly and will need to be replaced. Our team has sourced the necessary materials from another branch office, and we expect to have them in market the first week of June. We understand this project has taken far longer than expected, and we recognize how disappointing the communication and repeated service concerns have been. Your concerns have been documented, and our priority is to complete the necessary corrective work properly. Thank you.

When we wanted to take down the screens and put in glass, Patio Enclosures had a mailer. We gave them a call to get an estimate and all the experiences were good. We started in February and they did the job in April. The install went well though we had to wait for the parts. They had to order the panels. The installers were very helpful as well as the measurer. He noticed that the foundation of the corner of my house was sagging. He pointed that out and they recommended I get that looked at before we do the job. They weren't just out to get their money and leave. They wanted to make sure the job was going to be up to our satisfaction.

The only issue we had with the install was one glass measurement was wrong and it didn't fit. They reordered the glass and the installer came back a week or so later and put in the glass. It came out just as we planned. As we discussed with the sales guy, everything worked out. It's more expensive than we thought but we're very happy with it. We use it every day. My wife would be out there having breakfast and I'll go out there in the evening. It's an everyday space. Patio Enclosures is excellent. They're a solid organization.

We requested a supervisor to come supervise and advise the roofer on how to install and he never showed up nor did he call us as we were told he would. They charged our Citi credit card without getting our approval, which is fraud, according to the credit card company. The credit card company ain't happy with them either.

Andrew was fabulous. He answered all of our questions. He had samples to show us and went over all the details. The installation was great. Carlos and his other co-worker that came with him were great. They came when they said they were going to come. They did the work. They were super polite. They cleaned up after themselves every day. They were always communicating what was going on, and showed us things partway through. If I needed to hire someone for my own company, I would have hired Carlos.

Andrew originally told us the project would take a couple of days to get it done, but it took about two and a half days to get it done. So, that was a little bit less than what we had expected. We love it. We're out there every single morning. We can have breakfast on the patio again. We can have dinner out there without fighting the bugs. It's perfect. Whenever our family and friends come over, we tell them to check our patio and they tell us it's nice. We have a whole other room that we could only use for a short period of time before, and now, we can probably use it all year round.

The Patio Enclosure team was good. They were very friendly. I was given a timeline on how long the installation process would take, and they were able to complete everything within that time frame. The sunroom is not ready yet, but it's getting there. I just got to go get some furniture for it, and then have to go in there and paint the room. The Patio Enclosure team did what they did, and I stayed out there waiting. The timeline was perfect. When they finished, they showed me what they were working with. They had to replace something because they said it had a little minor fracture in one of the windows, and they did as promised. They came back and they fixed it. I would recommend Patio Enclosure to other people because a lot of people been inquiring. I told them who did it.

We've already had a sunroom. Patio Enclosures put it in about 17 years ago. It had the sliding glass doors, and the rails were getting bad, and with what it was gonna cost to replace the rails and everything, we just went ahead and upgraded it. Our experience is kind of a mixed bag. They told us they'd send a crew out, and it would be down in two to three days. I didn't realize the crew was one man crew, which I have no objection to him. He did a fabulous job. He was professional and precise, so I can't take that away, but it took him a week to do it. I took some time off from work and I just decided to stay home because you don't like anybody working at your house when you're not available. So, it ended up being that I sit there all week and waited till he got done. The gentleman that did the work was Luke, and I give him an A+ or 10+.

We only talked to the salesman twice. They didn't call us. I called them to see when they were gonna do the job. They told us, they'd be here that Monday. The salesman was supposed to get us a price on new blinds for the breezeway, but he never came back with any quotes, so we had to just use what we had. As far as the price of the service, the initial quote was 36,000 and they brought it down to 19,000. He came out with the first quote, and he said it was 36,000. We gave him a ballpark figure. We gave him a rounded figure. He said, “I don't know if I could do that.” I said, “Well, you ain't gonna do the job then.” It blew my mind that they said 36,000, then they brought it down to 19,000.

The screens of my porch were 30 years old, and they were getting shoddy-looking. And it was more that I could take on to replace them. I thought, if I'm going to do new screens, I should just get the glass enclosure with screens built in. It seemed the logical thing to do. I got a couple of bids and I liked Patio Enclosures'

product better. I saw them at the Home Show, and that's where I talked to them. They said, "We just happen to be having our anniversary sale of being in business for 50 years." And they had a good percentage off. I said, "That's why I'm here to talk to you guys. I need you to come out and look at it and give me the bid." The guy at the Home Show was very nice, and said, "We also have an extra percentage off from the Home Show, so you're getting the anniversary incentive and the Home Show incentive." I couldn't pass that up.

The whole procedure was a standout. They exceeded my expectations every step of the way. The sales lady was very good. She was like in her 30s, but she had been doing this for a while. She was very informative about her products. And she described everything. She brought samples out and went over every little detail. She was excellent. The installation was also excellent. It was two guys who came out and did it all. They knew what they were doing. They didn't hem haw around and that, and they knew from one step to the next step. They were easy to talk to, told me what they were going to do and how to do it. The salesperson who went over said, "This is what we're going to need to do." Because I had some four-by-four posts that looked a little shaky. She relayed that to them, and they came in with new four by fours and put them in and did a great job.

I would recommend Patio Enclosures. My neighbors already talked to me and said, "Who did that?" I let them know. Anybody that would ask me, I would say, "Go to them." It was much nicer experience talking to them when they came out to do their measuring and get everything down and better than the competitors that came in to give me a price. They were very professional, knew what they were talking about, and made sure you knew what they were talking about. I'm very satisfied with the whole experience.

They had to flip the door. They had it installed backwards to where it slid one way, and it was supposed to slide the other way. They had to come back and fix that. Also, they didn't have all the glass pieces, and they had to come back and install the rest of the windows, which were solid pieces of glass. They did not open. Other than that, it was a nice experience. Everything about it was good, from the minute Bob came to the house, we met, he drew it out right then and there, showed what we were going to get, explained the product, had the product on hand to show us what it was going to be, to the guys coming and installing. I am a person who depends on reviews ultimately to help me decide on a company…. unfortunately I must’ve read the wrong reviews. I give this company two stars not so much because the quality of the product but because the way the company is managed and all the lies that were told to us in the process. We bought a home that already had a Patio Enclosure room on it with just screens. We decided to put the glass sliding windows single pane and would lose half of our screens by having sliders going all the way around it. When we met with the salesman originally very important question to us was are the screens going to be on the inside (for pollen and Clean winter storage), he said yes.

The install date came. We let them go about their business. We come out and we see that all the screens are on the outside. They leave without announcing that they are done or that would you like to take a look before we leave… so I call my salesman who no longer works for the company. He says “oh they’re always on the inside”. He was just shocked so then in the meantime, they did a final walk-through with a person that was filling in for my area. He comes by. He says no “they are always on the outside, but there’s something that we can do for you. We can take them out where the handles are to slide the doors off and just put a new frame on that one side and reverse them for you. You’ll be hearing from us." Nothing happens. Nobody calls… when I did finally get a hold of somebody weeks later they told me that that it wasn’t going to happen that it wasn’t true that it could be reversed around.

They just fed me a story which we know now that they can indeed be reversed around my husband has done so… this company is all Showboat. They don’t follow through on anything they promise you. The warranty means absolutely nothing and I waited, found out that the only thing that’s really warranted is the glass. Nothing else… I totally regret leaving the good review that I left originally. They pressure you to go in right away and put in a review and I did because I thought my issues were going to be addressed and I was overall happy to have the glass in the room..., they also offered a week vacation as a little bonus. Well, of course I’ve never been able to access a code to get that rental for a week. In fact, I was going to give it away to a friend. So I ended up talking to the district manager of the sales person about the week vacation. He avoided my calls for a couple of weeks. I left him messages, etc.

The salesman had given me his name and phone number. He finally calls me, tells me he’s going to get on it. He’s going to take care of things (including my reverse screen issues) that was over a month ago. I tried calling him again last week texting. He completely avoids my calls!! I think at one time this was a good company. It now has its hands and a lot of different projects new owners….Dig a little deeper. Read some reviews. They all have a different story.

Bottom line is they just don’t care. This is not a very big room we are in our late 60s in this cost us $13,000 just to add glass to it. I don’t regret it. I enjoy it with the glass, but I really do not enjoy being treated like this by a company. No respect at all for their customers. They just don’t Care, very pushy and quick to get your money. You pay a third down right away when you say yes two weeks later another third and then the final third on install day and then they’re done with you…. you just have to cross your fingers that everything goes well because you’re never gonna get them to fix anything for you!. Please stay away from them… if I can just stop one person…. this was well worth writing. Lynn

We got tired of dealing with the screen porch, getting so much pollen and dirt being blown in and tracking into the house. We looked at different products and had a sit-down with a couple of salespeople, and it looked like the quality of Patio Enclosures' products was better, and the pricing was within reason. Their salesperson was very knowledgeable, offered a couple of different solutions, and then also took the time to show us, picture-wise, what it would look like. We were told that we could visit the office and see the actual product. They do not have a showroom in Myrtle Beach, but in their office, they had leftover material. So, they made a conference room out of it. We drove down there and met with the installation manager. I was very impressed with him. He took the time to give us a demo. He took us back into the store room and showed us how the stuff came in. So, it was a good experience.

The installation process was really good. The installers showed up on schedule, they tore out the existing structure, and started their install. They ran a little short on materials, so they couldn't finish up on the one day, but they came back early the next morning and finished up, cleaned up the work area, and showed us how everything worked. So, we were very satisfied. I definitely recommend people to take a look at Patio Enclosures, and especially, they offer the glass option, when one of the other ones really doesn’t. It's more of a vinyl window.

DO NOT USE!!!! I would leave negative stars if I could about this company. After taking advantage of my sick mother, having her take out a loan and charging her over 100k for a small sunroom, unbeknownst to my brother and I, they never fully completed the work by leaving the screen doors very wobbly and one of the doors off track as well as removing a bolt on the door and never coming back to fix. In addition, a leak by the extraction fan. My mother actually passed away before it was even complete.

Then my husband and I repeatedly called, left voicemails and emailed for over a year with no response from Joan **, head of service. Be aware their whole phone system just takes you in endless loops to leave messages that are never answered. We repeatedly had to pretend we wanted a consultation to talk to a salesperson to attempt to get someone on the phone.

Finally a technician was sent out, who managed to fix the main door on the track, but did not fix the screen door and actually removed the bolts and said he didn't have parts to complete. They mailed the parts and asked my husband to fix, who could not. Again, after over a month and a half of multiple emails, voicemails with no response from Joan **, my husband finally got ahold of her. She was completely disrespectful and absolutely horrible on the phone. She told him that because my mother passed away, we were not under warranty! No one ever told us that, and they actually removed parts of the doors and refused to come back and fix, which was after she passed away! So why did they send someone to do that without telling us? They never finished the job! In addition, there is a leak by the extraction fan.

My brother and I were the ones that made final payment on the patio, and at no time was there a discussion that the warranty would not be valid. We are not being unreasonable in wanting the work to be completed for 100k for a small room! Joan ** actually hung up on me when I tried to reason with her telling her that we were the ones that made the final payment, so there is no reason the warranty should not be valid. And, in fact, not completing the construction as agreed to, as well as a technician coming out to remove parts, is a breach of the original contract. She actually told me if we hadn't made the final payment there would of been put a lean on the house and then she hung up on me. Absolutely vile. Her complete lack of empathy and ability to communicate at all really is telling of the companies morality and care of their customers. Never in my life have I had a more horrible experience from a company and one that really took advantage of my family.

Whatever you do, DO NOT let these people sell you anything. They will have zero follow up and if they don't complete or there is an issue, it is a full on nightmare to try and get help or deal with Joan ** in service. If a manager or someone ever calls me back to remedy this situation I will have a follow-up post. But the fact it has been over a year and I have given them plenty of chances to fix, I don't have high hopes. If the owner of the company or any one working there could help us out, I would be very grateful and post they did the right thing. Otherwise, look forward to this review on every public platform I can find as well as Better Business Bureau to warn everyone about their horrendous business practices as well as their complete disregard of their customers, quality and communication.

I called a couple of other places, but everybody was trying to sell me and they weren't necessarily listening to me. Then the Patio Enclosures guy came by. It wasn't like he was in a rush. He sat down and measured out. Based off what he got on his computer, he did what he did. He didn’t give me a roundabout figure. He showed me the product. He told me about it and just reconfirmed what I said. It'd be a nice space, and which it is. But the salesman had much to do with me going off with Patio Enclosures than anybody else.

The installation started out that I was able to save some money by using the concrete company that they used on the job. If I contracted with them, it would be a little bit cheaper. So, I used the concrete company that they suggested. It was not a mistake to use them, but when they read the blueprint, they messed up on the width of the room. It was contracted to be 14 feet. They put the footings in at 15 feet. My room was initially supposed to be 14 x 18.

I guessed that when the material arrived, they started to put it up. But the lead guy named Chance measured it. He measured it again, and he measured again. He said something wasn’t right. But in order to fix it, which he did, he extended it to make the actual material that they had work with. So, that was cool. It didn't take long for Chance to figure out what had happened. He said, “Hey, what we can do is this. We're just extending everything out to the foot. And we can extend it on one wall out about a foot, a foot and a half. And then everything would hit over the footing, and we'd be back in business." So, that was how it worked.

It's a quiet space. It has low light. It's just a place to go and sit and chill with your thoughts. The only thing I have out there that’s electronic is music. But Patio Enclosures ate the cost. Instead of having the 3-inch panels on the roof, I ended up with 6-inch panels because they wanted to keep the project moving forward. I recognize this stuff happens. But when it gets right down to it, I have a room that's worth about $10,000 to $20,000 more than what I contracted for. Although they had the panels on hand, they had to go to Kansas City to get them. Patio Enclosures went above and beyond.

We have a screened room and an open deck with no roof, and we couldn’t even go out there because of the heat. We liked the advertisements and positive reviews online for Patio Enclosures, and we decided to go with them. The sales rep was on time and explained everything very well. His computer program went down when we were in the middle of closing the deal and we had to meet up with him later and finish the contract. But his computer started working again, so he came back. He was very professional about that.

The installers started the project a lot sooner than we were told that they could start on it, which is good, because now we have a screened room before the heat of summer. They were prompt in starting and finishing the job. It took less than two weeks. The installers were very polite and courteous. And the main person, Willie, was very particular in his work and made sure everything was right. They told us to look at everything well and see if there's anything that we felt needed to be addressed. And the next day, they were here. They would always fix what we wanted fixed. So, that was helpful. We were ignorant about how much the cost would be. There’s a number in mind and that was not the number. But the screened room is gonna add value to our home. The price was a bit up there for us, but the salesperson worked with us to get the monthly payment where we needed it to be. It was an excellent experience and I would recommend Patio Enclosures.

I've owned this house for over 30 years and in the past, I purchased gazebos that I would put up in the springtime. But instead of investing every summer into something that was just for one summer only, I decided to make an investment into something that was a bit more in line with what I needed and also to add value to the house in general. I looked locally with some building contractors who have ads. But in the end, I ended up going to home shows. I was most familiar with the Home Show in West Springfield, Massachusetts. That's a biggie. I also attended one in Foxborough, and at both of those, I visited the Patio Enclosures booth, and they piqued my curiosity. Eventually, I signed up for the appointment, where I sat down with one of the representatives of the company.

The rep answered all my questions. We went through the costs of what I was thinking of and she got it down to what I could afford and basically the design. We talked about design, and she answered all my questions there. We sat down for well over an hour, and by the end of our conversation, I was kind of set on what I was looking for and comfortable with the cost of it.

We had to go through some red tape with the town of Yarmouth because they had to apply for a building permit, which I wasn't quite thinking about. The original appointments that I went to with the home shows, they mentioned that a building permit wasn't necessary, but for the town of Yarmouth, it was. Along with the building permit, I also had to schedule a survey. The original meeting with the representative was in April of last year, and I reached out to a survey company. This was Cape Cod, so when it gets to the summertime, they're booked. So, I couldn't actually get the survey scheduled until November, through the end of the actual publish of the survey didn't happen until December, and then to get back to the town of Yarmouth for the actual approval of the building permit happened in January of this year.

As far as scheduling the construction, when I sat down with the original rep, we were talking about a couple of weeks for different things. The schedule of the payments that would coordinate with the first signing of the contract to the second of the ordering of the billing materials, to the third of scheduling the dates, but this ended up running to well over six months to almost a year. So, the scheduling of the construction happened a lot later than I anticipated. But on a good note, this was in the last couple of months, so it’s up to this summer.

I was given an approximate timeline. I had a full understanding of what the steps were necessary to finish the construction. But because this was happening at the tail end of winter, the weather was an issue. So, on the day that it was scheduled to start, it couldn't start because of the weather conditions. Then there were a couple of days during the first couple of weeks that they couldn't work because of weather conditions. So, all in all, it was kind of like a play by ear type of situation, which I was comfortable with because I had good communication with the construction crew. But it took a little longer than Patio Enclosures and I would have liked it.

Everybody from Patio Enclosures was very easy to talk to. I could pick up the phone and reach them with no problem at all. So there was always somebody to talk to. I was also very thoughtful of the way that they kept in touch with me through this prolonged process because of them having to go through a building permit, then go through a survey, and get the final approval from the town. Everything took so much longer because of the red tape situation. But on the whole, there was always communication between Patio Enclosures and me to make sure that we were on track.

I talked to different companies at the New Braunfels Home Show, and three companies came and gave me bids. Patio was the middle of the road, but I liked their product the best. There was another company that tried to upsell me with all these fancy doodahs. But the Patio Enclosures salesman was pretty honest with me. He told me, “We could do double pane, but you really don't need it the way your house is facing and stuff. You could do a single pane.” So, I was impressed and that was what I went with. It's quality material.

I have a door that comes off my kitchen into a small covered patio. Patio came in, and they put in a wall along the edge. I have my cement patio, and then it goes out onto a deck. So, now, I have a couple of windows and a big sliding door, and I can put my plants in when it gets cold. My cats love to sit out there, and I can sit out there and have coffee. It's great. It was a seamless experience. They did a good job. They also offered different payment options. I'm very, very satisfied.

We've called the Patio Enclosures rep out here to do a different job, and it turned out to be more than we expected. So, we swapped to just getting a screened in patio. He showed us our options and demonstrated the product, and was polite, clean, quiet, little on the long side, but I am too. The installation was a two-day process for them because of some issues. But installation day went okay, with one exception. I was not happy that they trimmed the aluminum without a tarp underneath. There were shards all over the yard. I have a dog and my wife gardens. So, when we went out there to inspect the yard, there were shards and screws. They were happy to try to pick them up. But the damage was done. They couldn't get all of it. Other than that, the product is fine. It's a very strong, nice-looking cage. It goes up well. It's gonna weather a storm without any problems. It will give us the years we need out of it.

Had my patio enclosure installed in May 2025. Through a series of mishaps, our porch was measured and manufactured incorrectly but was installed by expert craftsmen. Then in November during a cold snap, one window had a stress fracture and looked like cracked ice. I called and relayed to them which window and was told they had all the information and would order a new window. This took until March and the installer came to change out the window, only to discover the window was ordered from the incorrect first measurements. The installer said he would have some words with the home office, since he had to travel from Minnesota for nothing. Jump ahead to April 28th and still no replacement window. I told the manager I would write a review based on these past experiences. I wish I had gone with a local company (which was also less expensive).

We worked together to make it symmetrical. The salesperson was gone, and another department stepped in and said he had to change the design, with symmetry as a top priority. The install team showed up, and they had different plans that were not symmetrical at all, not what was discussed, and not the 3-D image of what I was told I would get. I sent them away, waiting to hear from the main office. My advice is DO NOT GIVE THEM A CHECK! Pay with your credit card so you can dispute the charge more easily.

I saw the company, Patio Enclosures, and they weren't tailored as a sunroom, per se. It was more like an enclosure, and that's what I was looking for. So, I gave them a call and the first meeting went well. I was well-informed. So, we continued on with it.

Installation was fine. They took care of everything they needed to take care of. Because it was springtime, I saw some of the leaves falling from the trees get on the caulk slightly, but it ended up looking okay once it dried. The gentlemen were good people. They cleaned my property afterwards, so the place looked ready to be furnished. It's a sitting area for now. My kids and I go in there, sit down and hang out. Patio Enclosures was good.

The patio enclosure is significantly overpriced. I was quoted over $99,000 for a 10x10 enclosure, which is unreasonable—especially for a townhouse. The sales presentation was unnecessarily long, which now seems like a tactic to justify the high price. Even after a 30% “discount,” the cost came down to $69,000, which is still far too expensive. We are sorry to hear you were disappointed with your appointment. Without a doubt, there are cheaper products on the market, however these products are not comparable to ours, which is the reason for the cost difference. Our prices fall in line with pricing of other comparable home remodel projects and products of similar quality. Our rooms are fabricated 100% from the ground up custom to your home. This means, we do not have parts laying around our warehouses that we can just use to build your sunroom. Your room is essentially a home addition that we custom build, paint, and install to fit the look and feel that you've asked for. We hope this adds some clarity to our pricing. As for lead times, 6 to 8 weeks in a normal timeframe. Permitting, CAD, production and shipping schedules all play a part.

I am not able to use the space like I would like to, which made me decide to add the sunroom. My next-door neighbor changed to glass enclosures, and I liked the structure and the way it was done, so I went with that. The customer service guy from Patio Enclosures answered all the questions that I had. I've had different things done in the past, and he was very upfront about what they could do. He was very knowledgeable about his product. The installers got the installation started but it got delayed because of the snow. But when they said they were going to come out, they did, and when they couldn’t, they informed us. And they came back when they said they were going to. They showed us how to use everything after it was completed and explained things that we may notice. They told us to reach out if there were any issues and they would correct them. So, they were very knowledgeable as well.

I was impressed with how professional the crew was. You sometimes see job sites where people are standing around while others work, but with Patio Enclosures, the installers were always busy and focused on getting the job done. The door latch has a specific way you have to turn it to open, and there’s another lock at the top that needs to be unlocked as well. At first, the door was a little tight to open, but they explained that it would loosen up over time, and that’s exactly what happened.

I mainly use the space for lounging. I already had a TV and furniture out there, but before the enclosure, it wasn’t very usable because of the bugs and other outdoor issues. Now that it’s enclosed, it’s much more comfortable. I’ve even added a heater and an AC unit so I can use the space year-round. Since the installation, I’ve been able to use it regularly, probably every other day. Pricewise, once everything was explained in detail, I felt it was very reasonable considering how much costs have gone up lately. Overall, I’m very satisfied with Patio Enclosures. They did an excellent job.

The look of the sunroom from Patio Enclosures really drew me in, and the fact that the salesperson had a virtual design capability. He showed me a picture of my current porch and how it would look with their product installed. It was a close enough representation and I liked that. It met all expectations aesthetically and quality-wise. The price was reasonable, too.

Then, they missed the first delivery date and the installation done by Great day Improvements was horrible. They mis-measured the product and they were inch and a half wrong. One of the pieces was an inch and a half too tall for the space that they tried to put it in. They also failed to do the right steps. They brought other parts but they'll never be able to finish because they didn't put the first step down, which was the aluminum capping on part of the porch. It's a 1984 porch, so I wanted aluminum cap so nothing would decay after I put the sunroom wall there. They said they might be able to try to slide something up there, and they sent crew after crew but none of them brought an aluminum bender. Everybody looked at it and said it's gong to be really hard as the thing is all bolted down now. So, I'm never going to get that part.

So my sunroom is still not complete because they sent two damaged pieces, and they never replaced them. I've got scratches on them and the finishes are marred. It also took them eight months to replace a screen. They're not organized and they don't communicate. They send people out that clearly have no idea what the product is when they get here. We'll probably end up in court because they're terrible.

Other than that, I am able to use my sunroom now. It took about eight months to get to the point where I just have damaged products. Of course, they had to then come and rip everything apart. So now, all the smooth finish and the caulking that was done were all destroyed. The way that the original people had bent the pieces was nice, tight, and low. Now, the other one sticks out about another half inch, so it doesn't have the same quality finish. It really is disaster and I would never recommend for anyone to get involved with Great Day Improvements ever. Besides that, the sunroom is fantastic and everybody likes it.

We appreciate you taking the time to share both the positives and the challenges of your experience. It’s great to hear that the design process, including the visualizer, helped bring your vision to life and that you’re ultimately able to enjoy the space.
At the same time, the installation issues, delays, and product concerns you described are not reflective of the experience we aim to provide. Challenges with measurements, damaged materials, and incomplete work can understandably lead to frustration, especially over an extended timeline.

Your feedback highlights areas where improvement is needed, particularly in communication, coordination, and execution. We take these concerns seriously and will be reviewing them internally. Thank you.

The two installation guys are the best really happy with the job they did. They removed all of the old screens and framework. Installed metal sill, which included a new sealer to existing concrete pad, new top and bottom tracks to receive the new windows and screens. Identified the existing and exterior walls outlets and schedule the electrician to install new electrical outlets on both front and back walls. They don’t come any better than anyone else.

I hated the fact that my patio was open and I felt like everyone else was enjoying it more than me. Patio Enclosures sent the brochure and I took a look at it. Then I went and ordered a sunroom from them. The rep who came to my house was good. He did the installation in really bad weather and he did it by himself. So, I take my hat off for him. The installation didn't happen within the timeline they gave me but that was because of the weather. If it wasn't for that, it would have been done on time.

Also, the guy mentioned that in the summertime, when you slide the glass, you have to put magnets in between. I thought because what I paid for the sunroom those magnets should have come with it. But they didn't. I shouldn't have to go elsewhere to buy magnets to put within the windows to slide because I don't know what those magnets look like. Other than that, the person who was keeping me up to date with everything was great and so far, I'm enjoying my sunroom. I would tell my friends who are considering getting one to go for it if it's feasible for them. It's a great addition to a property.

Our home is a new build and I wanted to do a three-season room so I could use the covered patio more of the time. I went with Patio Enclosures and they were pretty easy to work with. They kept me informed of when they were going to come and when they were going to take my money. They told me when the product was going to be delivered, and it was delivered when they said it was going to be. The installation took a day longer because not all the correct parts were delivered. They had to come back a week later for another part that wasn't delivered. Also, the main door screen was damaged, but they replaced that.

One thing that I was a little concerned about was the installation was contracted out. The family that did it did an excellent job, but I was expecting somebody directly from the company to do the installation and it wasn't. Also, for the amount of space that it was, the price was a little high and in retrospect, I wish that I had gotten other quotes. But other than those, the experience with Patio Enclosures has been good. The sunroom was very well done.

Considering the view of the mountains at the back of our place and not worrying about bugs and cold and hot weather, we decided to get a sunroom. There were two teams from Patio Enclosures. The first team that we spoke with got all the plans squared away and they were good. I didn't have any issues with them, except communication was a bit lacking, because we were told they were going to start one day, and then they never started. We had to call them to find out, “Hey, I thought you guys were going to start this day.” Lo and behold, it was a different day, so we had to readjust our vacation to make sure that everything was coming up and up. Some of the measurements were also off. All in all though, it was good. There were no major issues.

The second team was composed of the builders and they were excellent. I really enjoyed those guys. They were able to guide me through the whole process. With any construction, there will always be something. Some of the measurements were not correct so they had to readjust the framing a little. The builders were able to tell me, and it was at no cost to me. It was something that wasn't framed right, and they did a phenomenal job. I'm very impressed with those guys. I've already told people, “Hey, these guys were great." The people that did the framing as well as the people that who did the initial thing were great.

I googled sunrooms and Patio Enclosures' was the most prominent. I had a Jacuzzi that I never used because it was outside. I live in Oregon, and it's either too cold or too hot. So, I put the jacuzzi in the sunroom, and now I have a TV in there. I have hooks and everything so, now, I use it a lot more frequently. Most of Patio Enclosures' team was very good. The team that physically put the sunroom up was very accommodating. The individual who sold me on it was very good. The project had to be postponed four times for various reasons. So, therefore, any associating appointments that I scheduled based on their time frame had to be rescheduled. So, that was frustrating.

There was a screen that was damaged during construction, and they made it sound like it was an easy fix. This was back in December. Then I called one of the managers who said they could take care of it in January. I never heard anything from them. I paid for it already, so they thought I'd go away. So, on February 1st, I called him again. He said they'd schedule it for February 17th at 11:00 AM. That date came and went with no phone call, no worker, no anything. So, then I called the other manager, and he said he'd deal with it and call me back in 30 minutes. That was over a week ago. I never heard from him again.

The screen door damage still is very minor, but if I'm paying $35,000 for a project, I'd like it good when they put it up. This was damaged during construction, so they said they’d take care of it. Here it is, months later, and now I have to call them again. I'm on vacation right now, so I'm going to do that when I get back. I was talking to two managers who don't seem to prioritize this at all.

I had some concerns with the contractors because they damaged my property and they did not cover up my existing structures, which led to concrete damage. They blacked out one of my cameras.

Ian, the project manager, I kept in touch with him and with Levi and with Viola. And they were very on top. The three of them are very on top team, because Ian assured me that everything will be taken care of, and it was. Then there was a leak in my enclosure, and I called Ian and he came out and he said, “No problem. I've been looking for a good company for a number of years and finally, Patio Enclosures had a solution that we were happy with. But the contractor that put up our sunroom wanted me to sign off that it was completed so he could get paid two days before it was done. So I had to call his supervisor and he said that we couldn't do that and that they'd get him paid anyway, so I shouldn't worry about it. So the contractor put us in a bad spot. Then, he got hurt on the job and he took about three days longer than he was supposed to take. I had a floor going in in that room and I had to cancel that job since they couldn't get it done for a whole week because the sunroom installation wasn't completed yet.

Also, I thought I was going to have somebody come out and go over everything with me after it was completed and I never ever saw anybody. Aside from that, there were a few things that I had to complete myself where he had scratched wood. So I had to repaint some things. But overall, the installation was good and we love our sunroom. The installer made it look like it was never ever added, which was nice. We got patio furniture and a table down there so we can sit or eat out there and enjoy the sun this time of year. Then, in the summer, we'll have a nice screened-in patio. I would tell my neighbors to call Patio Enclosures. My experience with them wasn't perfect but it was good.

I had Patio Enclosures come out in 2018 and I was not impressed with them. I used them again recently and this time, the communication was wonderful. Everybody that showed up here was top-notch. Initially, I hesitated to go through them again but it was stupid to go through somebody else when these are the one who built the sunroom, even though I didn't like them. I wanted it glassed in 10 years ago but I couldn't afford that. So I called their guy and we changed the contract. I just did screen. Now, I'm getting ready to retire and I still want it glassed. So, I bit the bullet and did it. The rep who came out, Aaron, couldn't have been nicer. He gave me a deal that I couldn't refuse and the value this time was great.

During the installation, the girl who called me from the office all the time told me what they were doing and that they ordered something wrong. So, I told her that I was just going to leave it unlocked and they could come in and do whatever because I'd be at work. And they left it better than it looked when I left. I was really happy and now, I tell people that Patio Enclosures did a great job. The glass looks wonderful and everybody who comes says that it's so pretty. And I love my backyard. So I wanted that because that's the prettiest place. It has huge trees and that's where my grandkids play. It's also cool that I get to pay the price in 18 months as cash and I retire on May on this year. The bill's due January 27 and my sick days that I didn't use cover the bill. I teach school and my sick bank is 31,000. So when I take that out, I'll still pay taxes and I'll pay off the windows. So it worked out well and I won't have any debt again.

The workmen were excellent. Professional. My issue is that they put my ramp on grass when I had 4x8x2 concrete blocks a few feet away from the ramp. Wood on the ground is a recipe for early wood rot. They did not ask about the blocks. I was told by Samantha, a customer service representative that placing wood directly on the ground is common practice. It seems to me that it would be quite simple to purchase some kind of stone or concrete block to protect the customer's investment.

I have had the enclosure from Patio Enclosures since last February. The enclosure is beautiful, until you have an issue. The customer service is horrible. One of my dog damaged the screen frame on the storm door. I have called 6 times about buying a replacement screen. They still have not returned my call regarding the replacement nor have they even given me a price. On the same screen door, The stop seized up while we were opening the door, pulled the screws out of the door jamb damaging the door jamb.

After emailing and texting them multiple time they said it was from wind damage. No wind damage the part the installed intermittently locks. After 2 weeks of complaining they sent out a installer. That was roughly about a month ago. No calls, no emails, no attempts to make any type of repair. The interior door knobs keep coming off. Called and told them about that now return call. I would recommend using another company for your enclosure because they do not seem to care about their product or willing to take care of problems that arise. I spent $40,000.00 on this enclosure on to have it in shambles.

The incredible disappointment that seemingly continues to go on and on is amazing. It seems that Patio Enclosures is a franchise that can continue changing things so they can avoid direct reviews. We were promised so many things with our contract and we quickly realized that this was a company we should not have signed with. Promises of "your project manager will call you to introduce themselves at the end of the week". Reaching out 3 weeks later to inquire when we will be meeting/talking to the PM and no joy.

It took constant attempts (angrily) to finally get someone here who said they were the PM. Doesn't matter though, because that PM was never to be seen again. As a PM, I would check in after each deliverable, but not this company. Once they get you to commit to a contract, they disappear into the fog. It doesn't matter that the main thing I kept hammering into them is the importance of communication.

Any communication is good communication, even if it is bad news. Let us deal with it and figure out solutions. Instead, it further stressed out my spouse and I, 2 disabled veterans who have enough drama to deal with. Since they started the conversation with "we record the meeting to review later for quality assurance" that triggered me to do the same. Every call, meeting, etc. was recorded...for my quality assurance and timestamp records.

From the reviews it seems that oh so many have experienced similar events and missteps. I blame myself for not doing a better job researching this organization and their reviews. That would have prompted me to find independent contractors to accomplish the needed labor at a much cheaper cost. Instead, it will cost us a great deal more. I recommend contacting your Congressional Representative if you are/were in the same situation as we were, and your local media station because it may be the only way to actually get some level of ethical/moral behavior from this business.

To add to the validity of the Patio Enclosure Nightmare, Ryan ** the regional sales manager in florida, answered my message where I inquired about being put in contact with an executive who would listen, he requested I email him, which I did, but then he never responded back. When I sent him another message via linkedin, he didn't respond. Once I commented on a comment from a post he posted on his wall, he blocked me. His profile still exists and he remains silent. A report to the BBB has been submitted. Next will be congressman and media. Avoid at all costs.

When we called asking how to proceed, we received a recording asking us to leave a message and a number which they would call. We did, but received no answer or even a message that they tried to call when we were not available. We ordered the three replacement door handles. They arrived without instructions for installation. We sent Patio Enclosures a second message on its website requesting instructions how to replace them. Again we received no answer. I have a Sunroom that I don't trust to last through a storm because it leaks with caulking that is just piled in globs around the roof, white caulk on the bronze metal enclosure and it makes noise when the wind blows, damaged gutters that don't line up with the existing gutters so I have my own private (unwanted) waterfall, drip edge and roofing tiles damaged on a 3yr old roof that makes me nervous if a Florida storm comes through and a kickplate that is not secured on the front enclosure.

The communication is between bad and non-existent. Promises are constantly unfulfilled, could we say dishonesty is a common and constant theme. They are good at one thing: getting your money and not giving equivalent quality service. I will definitely let anyone who ask know who not to use. I have very little reason or belief that they will or want to make it right.

Oh, and they ruined an expensive finish on our floor trying to rig a door jamb. I'm 74. Worst customer service I've ever encountered.

Original Review: Due to an error in measuring, our door was an inch too high. As a result, it was an inch shy of meeting the threshold. They said they'd return with a longer door sweep. After a month, they showed up with a big threshold that was inappropriate for our opening. It has created a safety hazard. Their initial response was that they'd figure out how to address it. We've called multiple numbers and sent email and text messages since August. No one responds. We've had one person trip and consider this a liability created by Patio Enclosures.

Dear Patio Enclosures Management, I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the level of customer service and communication I have experienced with your company. I chose Patio Enclosures based on your high ratings and reputation for professionalism, but my experience has been far from what I expected.

I initially contacted your company along with two others to obtain estimates for enclosing my patio and front porch. From the beginning, communication appeared organized—several appointment confirmations were made via email (ending in **) and by phone (ending in **). On September 20th, I met with your sales representative, Greg V., whose professionalism and demeanor influenced my decision to move forward with Patio Enclosures, even though your estimate was not the lowest. As a single mother, I wanted to ensure the project was handled by a trustworthy company that would deliver quality work.

However, the experience quickly began to decline. On September 23rd, I received a call from Greg requesting to revisit my home to take additional measurements, even though measurements had already been completed twice during the initial appointment. I found this unusual but allowed the visit. Then, on October 9th, Greg contacted me again to inform me that an additional $2,500 would be required due to a missed footer that was not included in the original estimate. Although surprised, I initially agreed to the adjustment in good faith. However, after careful consideration, I decided to cancel the contract. Since then, it has been three weeks of repeated attempts to obtain updates and speak with a supervisor—with no success.

Greg advised me not to cancel, claiming he would discuss the matter with his supervisor to try to include the additional cost in the original quote. Later, he informed me that he could reduce the added cost by $1,000, but I made it clear that I still wanted to cancel. Since that time, I have repeatedly requested to speak directly with a supervisor or anyone authorized to finalize my cancellation and address my concerns, yet no one has returned my calls or emails.

I entered into a $12,998 contract in good faith and expected the same level of integrity and communication in return. Instead, I have been ignored and left without resolution. This lack of professionalism and accountability is unacceptable. I respectfully request that this matter be escalated immediately to upper management. Please provide written confirmation of the cancellation of my contract and refund of my deposit as soon as possible. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I hope Patio Enclosures can take this feedback seriously and work to restore the level of customer trust your reputation is built upon.

Their representative pressured a homeowner into prepaying for a patio enclosure before HOA approval, assuring that approval would be “no problem.” The HOA ultimately denied the project multiple times, yet the company refused to honor its own contract, which requires a refund when approval cannot be obtained. Management attempted to justify keeping a large portion of the payment using misleading contract interpretations and demanded a signed legal release before issuing even a partial refund. The experience was deeply disappointing, stressful, and showed little regard for fair dealing or consumer protection. The remaining item—the LeafGuard gutter installation—was delayed due to an unexpected supplier issue that was outside of our direct control. During that period, our team made repeated efforts to resolve the situation and kept you informed as we worked to reestablish ordering and scheduling. We also offered an alternative gutter option to avoid further delay, which you understandably chose not to pursue.

We apologize for the inconvenience and for the missed appointment, as well as for the communication lapses you experienced. While the delay did not prevent use of the enclosure, we recognize that follow-through is important, and we regret that this portion of the project did not progress as smoothly as it should have. Your feedback is appreciated and has been shared with our team as we continue to improve our processes.

The whole experience is a nightmare that is still ongoing. The salesman had a great pitch, saying that patio enclosures is the largest and best nationwide, etc. I signed the contract on 4/21. They didn’t get the city building permit until 7/18. Out of the blue one Friday they left me a voicemail that they will start installation on Mon. They were no show and no one bothered to call me letting me know the city wanted them to mark the place where the patio is being built. After numerous calls, emails and text, it was crickets for another few weeks. Then they were supposed to start yesterday. Again, no one showed up so I called them and was told that the foreman had car issue so they can’t make it.

I found it ludicrous that only one person can stop a full build that requires concrete pouring. They were supposed to call me and let me know the follow up plan. Nothing and when I called this morning, she said that because they didn’t have an updated plan, she didn’t want to call me. I told her she should have called to update me knowing that I am extremely unhappy with the lack of communication. She said she will call me this afternoon with an update and it’s almost 5:30. I have cleared my schedule twice to sit at home waiting on them and they don’t even bother to let me know they won’t be coming. I told them clearly that I will look into litigation if they continue to not fulfill the job. I have already paid 60% per the contract. They wanted to charge another 10% just to start concrete and I told them I wasn’t paying anything that is not listed in the contract.

The lack of professionalism, communications, and accountability is beyond belief. I paid top dollar believing that they are the best. Now I feel like I have fallen for a scam. I was on the belief that if you don’t have anything nice to say then don’t say anything but I hope this post can help folks think carefully before signing a contract with this company.

This is one of the most disgusting companies. If I could afford to tear down the room. I would. I am a disabled retired veteran on a fixed income. I am not in debt for sixty grand. First, I had to get HOA approval, once the plans were modified to add a foundation, which I paid for, eight grand, I waited and waited for the work to begin. I kept calling, sending emails, and kept getting the response that they were waiting for the permit from the city. I went to the city, paid for the permit and had the permit within three hours.

Finally, when I spoke with a rep he said they would deduct the cost of the permit and give me a break on the final cost, because I had to pay for a foundation. Finally, the work began. I was also promised a reduction in the cost because of the delays. I complained about the quality of the work. The room was finally finished in August 2025. It took a year and half to complete an 8x13 room. I had to install the floor, provide the light and ceiling fan. I have a door that does not have a key so now I only have one way into my home from the outside. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. And, the company responded with the usual pet answer. We finished the project in August, met the contracted agreement. At this point, I realize I was screwed. However, from now own I am going to do everything possible to make sure this company goes out of business. They can sure me.

We also had to buy two by fours so they could trim the outside where they demolished the old ones. They were just going to leave it that way. They wouldn't also open properly, so they came to shave them down and did this in my yard where my pig eats. I didn't realize that's where they did it, and never cleaned up the shavings which are metal.

They shaved them uneven and it's incredibly noticeable. There were gaps in the tops where my roof and their patio meet which was never addressed for months. Which they put a cover over two of the windows on the outside so you can't see it but didn't do it all over the front which is what you see. And they never came to do that all over, it was told to me they don't so the installer did a makeshift one. Took 4 months to get two screens that didn't fit. And because of them not cleaning the metal shavings my pet pig died from eating something sharp that scratched her esophagus and got infected which caused a cyst at her larynx to rupture and choke her. At the beginning of this year my wife and I decided to see if we could repair our dilapidated Sunroom built over 35 years ago. After seeking bids we found only one Contractor willing to rebuild the walls using the existing roof and foundation. The company is Patio Enclosures DBA Greatday Improvements located in Fenton Mo. The sales person representing the company was Todd Albrecht. On April 12th we signed a contract amounting to $35,381.99 financed through Greensky Loan located in Georgia. There were 3 payments to be made. April 16th a down payment of $10,614.60 was made to Greatday Improvements.

When the components of the sumroom were complete and ready to ship another payment was made by Greensky to Greatday Improvements for $10,614.50. Shortly after the second payment Elizabeth ** of Greatday Improvements called and asked if Memorial Day was okay to start construction. We said okay. On May 27th Balo Construction, a migrating out of state contractor, arrived to begin the build.

On the second day May 28th Mr. Balo informed us that the sunroom could not be completed due to missing parts, a broken window that doesn't roll correctly, and a broken lock. The flashing between the outside wall panel and the roof was also missing leaving a large gap open to the elements. The parts could take 3 to 4 weeks to arrive but a crew would arrive to place the flashing between the side panel and roof on the following Monday, On May 29th We were astounded to learn that Greatday Improvements asked Greensky for and received final payment of $14,172.59 for an unfinished sunroom.

I called Ms ** on May 31st to vigorously protest collecting final payment for a unfinished sunroom. I only got her voicemail. She never called back. I've called since and it's the same. No callback. On June 2nd the crew that was to install the flashing never arrived and we immediately knew we were dealing with a disreputable company. My calls are not returned. On June 5th I sent a written message to Greensky disputing the final payment, asking why they released the final payment. To their credit they have opened a file case on the matter and assigned a rep named Anita to the case. She explained the contract is written in favor of the business. When they ask for payment it is given. Anita explained Greensky does take action to protect the buyer when a payment is in dispute by protecting your credit rating. She has also has made calls to Greatday Improvements to no avail. They aren't returning her calls either.

Along with this complaint are photos of the incomplete work, missing window parts, and the project proposal. Photo 1 shows the trim on the interior pulling away from the wall. No anchor screw was put there showing shoddy workmanship. Photo 2 shows a broken lock on a window that doesn't open properly. During install the crew, who did not speak English, used rubber mallets to make it fit. Mr Balo who does speak English was away at another job site I assume. Photo 3 shows a window without the screen. Apparently it wasn't ordered. Photos 4 & 5 shows the gap between the outside wall panel and the roof large enough to insert my finger into. It exposes the room to outside elements.

BUYER BEWARE!!! Patio Enclosures built a beautiful sunroom for me in 2019 on a wooden floor that they insisted was proper. It rotted within 3 yrs. They took almost a year to fix the problem, ruined my yard with machinery & gravel from under my sunroom, ruined my brand new 6’ privacy fence gate. Now, only a few months later, the roof leaks and water is coming in between the foundation of my house & their new concrete floor. When I called for repairs, the scheduler, Heather ** explained quite rudely that my sunroom was out of warranty & if I wanted them to come back, I’d owe $250 for their inspection! She challenged me to read my contract claiming the only lifetime warranty they have is on the glass!!! I RECOMMEND RUNNING FROM THEIR BUSINESS! The warranty was sold to me as lifetime on the structure & transferable to a new homeowner!

Be very careful if you decide to go with this company. Their systems are proprietary and cannot be repaired or replaced by anyone else. Here is our experience. Our enclosure is about 10 years old. We are the third owner. The former owner told us that they had a lot of trouble getting Patio Enclosures to fix one of the sliding doors and finally gave up.

We also didn’t use the one non working slider and just used the other, very heavy door until we contacted Anderson Renew to do a retrofit. When they came out to measure they informed us that no one could retrofit the doors as the frame is designed to hold up the roof and the doors are custom built and cannot be replaced by standard units.

When we phoned Patio Enclosures in Indianapolis IN, we left three messages over two weeks but were never contacted. I finally got through and scheduled a repair. I had to deposit over $600 service fee first. Two guys came out and after struggling for an hour, replaced the rollers on the working door but told us a part was required for the non working door and they woul call to reschedule once the part came in.

A month later, no call, so I went through the process again, days and days of daily calls until, finally, someone answered. The lady, Heather, set up a service appointment. On the day of the appointment the guy didn’t show. I got through to the office and was told by Heather that our service guy was sick and she forgot to call me. She set up another appointment for later in the week. Yep. He didn’t show up again. When I called, I asked to speak with their manager. Julie spoke to me and was apologetic but not sympathetic. Nevertheless she promised that the next appointment would be kept. She also promised to call ahead to confirm. You guessed it. No call. So the day of the appointment after waiting 1/2 hour passed the scheduled time I called. Heather assured me that their guy was just running late.

Two hours later, their guy showed up. He told me he had just received a call to come by to see what was wrong. Yes. If I hadn’t called that morning he would never have shown up. It gets worse folks. After struggling with the door, and with my help and several calls to Tim at the office, we were able to get the door off the tracks and inspected. One of the lock push rods was broken. Ok, so we knew that from a month ago, where was the part they ordered? Nope. No part to be ordered. The door is completely sealed. There is NO way to get in it to repair what is clearly a weak design in the locking system. A push rod made of aluminum. The only repair is a replacement of the entire sliding glass door at the cost of $10k. Needless to say, the door was put back and remains inoperable.

So if you decide to do a Patio Enclosure system from Great Days, plan on never requiring service, even if hen you need it, and you will, and never having the option of having anyone else being able to fix or repair your room. They have you over a barrel, and because of that can treat you, the customer, like dirt. And they will.

Their website is full of accolades about their management and glowing reviews. They may or may not be true. This review however, is 100% my experience and my honest impression of why their service and culture is absolutely unacceptable. Once they have sold and installed your room, you are stuck with a company that never wants to see you again.

Updated on 02/01/2025: It took 15 months to complete my sunroom. I was misled numerous times. The company failed to pull the permits multiple times. After the room was installed and it rained, I had water coming in inside my house, inside the fireplace, and inside the patio room. Turns out the contractor did not dry in the dormer nor roof the patio room itself. I paid $2800 out of pocket to get my roofer to complete the needed repairs. Unfortunately, I have water stains on my ceiling inside my house. They installed the gutters before the roofing was repaired and they leaked because there was no 1/2” overhang. The contractors who originally poured the concrete, poured the excess concrete in my backyard in two different places. Great Day will put themselves out of business eventually. Run Forest, RUN!

Original review: I contracted for a patio enclosure on October 27, 2023. It is September 2024 and the only thing done to date is a silt fence around the work area that is required by my town. They were supposed to show up this week to start but it didn’t happen. I highly recommend that everyone put a PENALTY CLAUSE in their contract for failure to complete the job within a stated period of time. I was promised completion in March of 2024.

First off. Signed the contract 29 May 2024. The installation is a total disaster. Caulking is a mess. A 5 year old could’ve done better after shown what and how to do it. Door frame was placed incorrectly and filled with caulk. Gaps in the trim. Trim has jagged ends perfect for harming grandchildren. Cutting Bedford stone. Windows, the corners where they are put together have gaps in them that will allow air and rain to enter. Wrong window handle/lock placement. Lock on one window was in the middle when all the rest were placed lower. One window is missing. Found razor blades from a utility knife laying on the ground, there again grandchildren could hurt themselves. What a mess!! So, the work was completed 16 July at about 9:30 PM. 17 July we took pictures of the mess and contacted Patio Enclosures.

A representative came out to survey/check the job. Started off with him having an attitude. We were told that it would be the end of August 2024 before a truck would arrive with the materials to complete the job. Not given a date they would come to complete the job. Oh they made the withdraws in a timely manner though. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They lack customer service/support, no follow-up, Quality control and a skilled work force. I will not attach a copy of the invoice.

They built the incorrect enclosure. I was supposed to have a gable roof with a chair rail at the actually chair rail height. I even told them that it needed to look the same as all the other lanais in the community, per our HOA. They submitted the incorrect plan to Pasco county, then built it with a flat roof, extremely low and uneven chair rail, and no cross wires across the back. They left it a mess as well. I spent so much time between talking to the office, the supervisor that was here for construction, their supervisor that had to come out to inspect it, and then all the other phone calls about what would happen to fix the issues. It was so stressful, especially since these calls were being made while I was at work.

They eventually tore it down and built it correctly. However, left piles of metal shavings on my patio that anyone could have cut themselves on, as well as little holes in the screen, and an uneven screen; therefore, had to come back out to fix it. I cleaned up the metal shavings myself. You would think that after all the mistakes on the first build, that this one would have been built perfectly. Due to the multiple errors and poor workmanship, I asked for a discount. I was told that since it was corrected within the time frame they had given me, I would be given no discount. Apparently customer satisfaction does not matter, as long as they get their money.

This company has been a nightmare!! The lack of workmanship, service, and follow through is absolutely despicable. We have had several supervisors and “their best workers” to come and assess all the issues needing addressed. Each person blames the other and speaks to you in a condescending way. Our last supervisor was fired so we now have another person overseeing the issues. Please note that they are given a timeframe that each project must be completed. This in turn leads to poor quality and major problems. The issues we are having now (amongst many others and too many to name) are condensation buildup on the inside patio doors (3 seasons room). We were told that there’s high humidity levels and some people have this issue depending on the location they live. Are you kidding? We had a home prior (an older home) with an all glass 3 season room and NEVER did we have this issue.

The seals are definitely broken but they are saying that this is not the case. We have had this structure for about 6 months. During the winter we had ice buildup on the inside patio windows and now it’s summer with the windows having terrible condensation buildup. We are unable to see out during the summer time or winter time. What is the point of having a 3 season room if we can’t see out of it? Unbelievable!! CAN ANYONE LET ME KNOW IF THEY HAVE EXPERIENCED THIS? I would really like to speak with you further. We are looking into having the patio dismantled and contacting a lawyer. I want to scream on the mountain tops so everyone hears…DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I will be going on the BBB to report this as well. $75k for a complete mess and stress!

After dealing with these problems, they fired all of the people I have been dealing with, claiming they have no documentation of my contract or the previous, current defective product that I pay approximately $20,000 for--I would strongly advise you to seek your product from anyone else other than, "Patio Enclosures" also known as "Great Day Improvements."

Because our warranty has expired we have to pay $250 service fee and $35 for each screen to be replaced. Was told they would call us back to schedule an appointment. It's been 3 weeks and we haven't heard from them. Very poor customer service and installation. They told us the screens were cut too short but we have to pay to correct the problem. We're sorry that we recommended PE to our daughter. I hope they won't have to go through problems like we have.

The office staff has been supportive in listening to my concerns however, Field Supervisor (KN) still hasn't been out to resolved my leaking window issue. Then redone a third time. The first materials brought were all wrong. Had to reorder that. Then it took nine months to finally get installed. Still not 100%. But tired of the hassle. We have photos of the whole process. While they were finally finished. One of the workers showed me a truck loaded with materials for another job. All of it was wrong also. They have subcontractors do all the work. Apparently they hire the cheapest labor they can find. I do not recommend this company at all.

I was assigned a customer service rep who never answered her phone, ignored my emails, voicemails or when she did answer she gave wrong information, was rude, insulting and threatened me when I told her I froze the final payment until they finished the job and resolved the issues. Then she told me that I had not mentioned the issues - including a leaking roof so I resent her 37 emails where I had enumerated these issues. They assured me the project would be done in Oct, because we had someplace we needed to go in Nov. It was not done until Mid January.

No apologies - as soon as they got the final payment I never heard from them again - so I had to call the town and handle resolving the final inspection because they had not. I wrote a very long detailed review at their request - they never contacted me. The sales folks had said "We are not some guy with a pickup truck". Believe me - I would have rather had the guy with the pickup truck install my sunroom - at least they will talk to you.
