I am a person who depends on reviews ultimately to help me decide on a company…. unfortunately I must’ve read the wrong reviews. I give this company two stars not so much because the quality of the product but because the way the company is managed and all the lies that were told to us in the process. We bought a home that already had a Patio Enclosure room on it with just screens. We decided to put the glass sliding windows single pane and would lose half of our screens by having sliders going all the way around it. When we met with the salesman originally very important question to us was are the screens going to be on the inside (for pollen and Clean winter storage), he said yes.
The install date came. We let them go about their business. We come out and we see that all the screens are on the outside. They leave without announcing that they are done or that would you like to take a look before we leave… so I call my salesman who no longer works for the company. He says “oh they’re always on the inside”. He was just shocked so then in the meantime, they did a final walk-through with a person that was filling in for my area. He comes by. He says no “they are always on the outside, but there’s something that we can do for you. We can take them out where the handles are to slide the doors off and just put a new frame on that one side and reverse them for you. You’ll be hearing from us." Nothing happens. Nobody calls… when I did finally get a hold of somebody weeks later they told me that that it wasn’t going to happen that it wasn’t true that it could be reversed around.
They just fed me a story which we know now that they can indeed be reversed around my husband has done so… this company is all Showboat. They don’t follow through on anything they promise you. The warranty means absolutely nothing and I waited, found out that the only thing that’s really warranted is the glass. Nothing else… I totally regret leaving the good review that I left originally. They pressure you to go in right away and put in a review and I did because I thought my issues were going to be addressed and I was overall happy to have the glass in the room..., they also offered a week vacation as a little bonus. Well, of course I’ve never been able to access a code to get that rental for a week. In fact, I was going to give it away to a friend. So I ended up talking to the district manager of the sales person about the week vacation. He avoided my calls for a couple of weeks. I left him messages, etc.
The salesman had given me his name and phone number. He finally calls me, tells me he’s going to get on it. He’s going to take care of things (including my reverse screen issues) that was over a month ago. I tried calling him again last week texting. He completely avoids my calls!! I think at one time this was a good company. It now has its hands and a lot of different projects new owners….Dig a little deeper. Read some reviews. They all have a different story.
Bottom line is they just don’t care. This is not a very big room we are in our late 60s in this cost us $13,000 just to add glass to it. I don’t regret it. I enjoy it with the glass, but I really do not enjoy being treated like this by a company. No respect at all for their customers. They just don’t Care, very pushy and quick to get your money. You pay a third down right away when you say yes two weeks later another third and then the final third on install day and then they’re done with you…. you just have to cross your fingers that everything goes well because you’re never gonna get them to fix anything for you!. Please stay away from them… if I can just stop one person…. this was well worth writing. Lynn

We got tired of dealing with the screen porch, getting so much pollen and dirt being blown in and tracking into the house. We looked at Patio Enclosures' different products, and had a sit-down with a couple of salespeople, and it looked like the quality was better, and the pricing was within reason. The salesperson was very knowledgeable, offered a couple of different solutions, and then also took the time to show us, picture-wise, what it would look like. We were told that we could visit the office and see the actual product.
The installation process was really good. They showed up on schedule, basically tore out the existing structure, and started their install. They ran a little short on materials, so they couldn't finish up on the one day, but they came back early the next morning and finished up, and cleaned up the work area, and showed us how everything worked. So, very satisfied. I definitely recommend they take a look at Patio Enclosures, and especially, they offer the glass option, when one of the other ones really doesn’t. It's more of a vinyl window.
We’re so pleased to hear how satisfied you are with your experience and your new enclosure. It’s great to know our team was able to provide knowledgeable guidance, walk you through different options, and help you visualize the final result so you could feel confident in your decision. We’re also glad the installation team kept the project moving smoothly, communicated along the way, and made sure everything was completed and cleaned up properly. Thank you for highlighting the quality of our glass enclosure option and for recommending Patio Enclosures to others. We truly appreciate your feedback and are excited that your new space will help keep the pollen and dirt out while giving you a comfortable area to enjoy for years to come!

DO NOT USE!!!! I would leave negative stars if I could about this company. After taking advantage of my sick mother, having her take out a loan and charging her over 100k for a small sunroom, unbeknownst to my brother and I, they never fully completed the work by leaving the screen doors very wobbly and one of the doors off track as well as removing a bolt on the door and never coming back to fix. In addition, a leak by the extraction fan. My mother actually passed away before it was even complete.
Then my husband and I repeatedly called, left voicemails and emailed for over a year with no response from Joan **, head of service. Be aware their whole phone system just takes you in endless loops to leave messages that are never answered. We repeatedly had to pretend we wanted a consultation to talk to a salesperson to attempt to get someone on the phone.
Finally a technician was sent out, who managed to fix the main door on the track, but did not fix the screen door and actually removed the bolts and said he didn't have parts to complete. They mailed the parts and asked my husband to fix, who could not. Again, after over a month and a half of multiple emails, voicemails with no response from Joan **, my husband finally got ahold of her. She was completely disrespectful and absolutely horrible on the phone. She told him that because my mother passed away, we were not under warranty! No one ever told us that, and they actually removed parts of the doors and refused to come back and fix, which was after she passed away! So why did they send someone to do that without telling us? They never finished the job! In addition, there is a leak by the extraction fan.
My brother and I were the ones that made final payment on the patio, and at no time was there a discussion that the warranty would not be valid. We are not being unreasonable in wanting the work to be completed for 100k for a small room! Joan ** actually hung up on me when I tried to reason with her telling her that we were the ones that made the final payment, so there is no reason the warranty should not be valid. And, in fact, not completing the construction as agreed to, as well as a technician coming out to remove parts, is a breach of the original contract. She actually told me if we hadn't made the final payment there would of been put a lean on the house and then she hung up on me. Absolutely vile. Her complete lack of empathy and ability to communicate at all really is telling of the companies morality and care of their customers. Never in my life have I had a more horrible experience from a company and one that really took advantage of my family.
Whatever you do, DO NOT let these people sell you anything. They will have zero follow up and if they don't complete or there is an issue, it is a full on nightmare to try and get help or deal with Joan ** in service. If a manager or someone ever calls me back to remedy this situation I will have a follow-up post. But the fact it has been over a year and I have given them plenty of chances to fix, I don't have high hopes. If the owner of the company or any one working there could help us out, I would be very grateful and post they did the right thing. Otherwise, look forward to this review on every public platform I can find as well as Better Business Bureau to warn everyone about their horrendous business practices as well as their complete disregard of their customers, quality and communication.
We are truly sorry for the frustration and distress this situation has caused your family, especially during such a difficult time after the loss of your mother. This is not the experience we want anyone to have, and we understand why you are upset. We do see that a service appointment has been scheduled for next week so the remaining concerns can be addressed. Your feedback has been shared with management, and we appreciate you taking the time to bring these matters to our attention. Thank you.

Expensive, appeared to be a decent product, but glass broke on a door that is rarely used about a year after installation. After repeated calls, the several calls that were answered included false promises to make repairs. Six months later, they have not replaced the broken glass.
We are sorry to hear about your experience and understand your frustration regarding the delay in replacing the glass. We have ordered the replacement glass and will schedule service as soon as it is received. We also apologize for the lack of communication along the way, as this is not the experience we want for our customers. Thank you for your patience while we work to complete the repair. Thank you.

I talked to different companies at the New Braunfels Home Show, and three companies came and gave me bids. Patio was the middle of the road, but I liked their product the best. There was another company that tried to upsell me with all these fancy doodahs. But the Patio Enclosures salesman was pretty honest with me. He told me, “We could do double pane, but you really don't need it the way your house is facing and stuff. You could do a single pane.” So, I was impressed and that was what I went with. It's quality material.
I have a door that comes off my kitchen into a small covered patio. Patio came in, and they put in a wall along the edge. I have my cement patio, and then it goes out onto a deck. So, now, I have a couple of windows and a big sliding door, and I can put my plants in when it gets cold. My cats love to sit out there, and I can sit out there and have coffee. It's great. It was a seamless experience. They did a good job. They also offered different payment options. I'm very, very satisfied.
Thank you again for choosing Patio Enclosures. Your satisfaction means a lot to our team.

We've called the Patio Enclosures rep out here to do a different job, and it turned out to be more than we expected. So, we swapped to just getting a screened in patio. He showed us our options and demonstrated the product, and was polite, clean, quiet, little on the long side, but I am too. The installation was a two-day process for them because of some issues. But installation day went okay, with one exception. I was not happy that they trimmed the aluminum without a tarp underneath. There were shards all over the yard. I have a dog and my wife gardens. So, when we went out there to inspect the yard, there were shards and screws. They were happy to try to pick them up. But the damage was done. They couldn't get all of it. Other than that, the product is fine. It's a very strong, nice-looking cage. It goes up well. It's gonna weather a storm without any problems. It will give us the years we need out of it.
We appreciate you sharing such detailed feedback about your experience. It’s great to hear that your representative took the time to walk you through the available options, demonstrate the product, and provide courteous service throughout the process. We’re also glad you’re happy with the finished screened patio and the quality and durability of the enclosure itself. At the same time, we sincerely apologize for the cleanup concerns following the installation. We understand how important it is to ensure the work area is left safe and clean, especially with pets and gardening areas involved. Your comments regarding the aluminum shards and screws will be shared with our team so we can continue improving our installation and cleanup procedures moving forward. Thank you again for your honest feedback and for choosing Patio Enclosures for your project.

Had my patio enclosure installed in May 2025. Through a series of mishaps, our porch was measured and manufactured incorrectly but was installed by expert craftsmen. Then in November during a cold snap, one window had a stress fracture and looked like cracked ice. I called and relayed to them which window and was told they had all the information and would order a new window. This took until March and the installer came to change out the window, only to discover the window was ordered from the incorrect first measurements. The installer said he would have some words with the home office, since he had to travel from Minnesota for nothing. Jump ahead to April 28th and still no replacement window. I told the manager I would write a review based on these past experiences. I wish I had gone with a local company (which was also less expensive).

I have been through three salespeople. The last two were amazing, not sure why they were let go. The plans were shown to me, and symmetry was very important to me. We worked together to make it symmetrical. The salesperson was gone, and another department stepped in and said he had to change the design, with symmetry as a top priority. The install team showed up, and they had different plans that were not symmetrical at all, not what was discussed, and not the 3-D image of what I was told I would get. I sent them away, waiting to hear from the main office. My advice is DO NOT GIVE THEM A CHECK! Pay with your credit card so you can dispute the charge more easily.
We appreciate you taking the time to work through this with us, and we’re glad we were able to review the details together and get everything aligned with your vision. Ensuring the final design reflects what was discussed is a priority for us. We were looking for a space between the inside of the house and the outside that wouldn't have the outdoor elements, but we could still feel like we were outside. The kids are tired of having to deal with all the elements, especially now in springtime. Everything's falling and growing. I saw the company, Patio Enclosures, and they weren't tailored as a sunroom, per se. It was more like an enclosure, and that's what I was looking for. So, I gave them a call and the first meeting went well. I was well-informed. So, we continued on with it.
Installation was fine. They took care of everything they needed to take care of. Because it was springtime, I saw some of the leaves falling from the trees get on the caulk slightly, but it ended up looking okay once it dried. The gentlemen were good people. They cleaned my property afterwards, so the place looked ready to be furnished. It's a sitting area for now. My kids and I go in there, sit down and hang out. Patio Enclosures was good.
Creating that perfect space is exactly what so many homeowners are looking for, so it’s great to hear this turned out to be the right fit for you. Spring can definitely bring its challenges, but having a space where you can still enjoy the outdoors without all the mess makes a big difference. We're glad the process felt smooth from the start and that the crew took good care of your home during installation. It sounds like your new space is already becoming a favorite spot to relax and spend time together. That is what it is all about. Thanks for letting us be part of it!

From the initial meeting in September until completion in March, it was 6 months. That was bc the first crew came, did less than half of the job in November. The patio enclosure is significantly overpriced. I was quoted over $99,000 for a 10x10 enclosure, which is unreasonable—especially for a townhouse. The sales presentation was unnecessarily long, which now seems like a tactic to justify the high price. Even after a 30% “discount,” the cost came down to $69,000, which is still far too expensive. Additionally, I was informed that the project wouldn’t begin for another 6 to 8 weeks.
We are sorry to hear you were disappointed with your appointment. Without a doubt, there are cheaper products on the market, however these products are not comparable to ours, which is the reason for the cost difference. Our prices fall in line with pricing of other comparable home remodel projects and products of similar quality. Our rooms are fabricated 100% from the ground up custom to your home. This means, we do not have parts laying around our warehouses that we can just use to build your sunroom. Your room is essentially a home addition that we custom build, paint, and install to fit the look and feel that you've asked for. We hope this adds some clarity to our pricing. As for lead times, 6 to 8 weeks in a normal timeframe. Permitting, CAD, production and shipping schedules all play a part.

They were only here for three hours, then the next day they were here for five hours. But on the third day, they stayed and got it finished. The look of the sunroom from Patio Enclosures really drew me in, and the fact that the salesperson had a virtual design capability. He showed me a picture of my current porch and how it would look with their product installed. It was a close enough representation and I liked that. It met all expectations aesthetically and quality-wise. The price was reasonable, too.
Then, they missed the first delivery date and the installation done by Great day Improvements was horrible. They mis-measured the product and they were inch and a half wrong. One of the pieces was an inch and a half too tall for the space that they tried to put it in. They also failed to do the right steps. They brought other parts but they'll never be able to finish because they didn't put the first step down, which was the aluminum capping on part of the porch. It's a 1984 porch, so I wanted aluminum cap so nothing would decay after I put the sunroom wall there. They said they might be able to try to slide something up there, and they sent crew after crew but none of them brought an aluminum bender. Everybody looked at it and said it's gong to be really hard as the thing is all bolted down now. So, I'm never going to get that part.
So my sunroom is still not complete because they sent two damaged pieces, and they never replaced them. I've got scratches on them and the finishes are marred. It also took them eight months to replace a screen. They're not organized and they don't communicate. They send people out that clearly have no idea what the product is when they get here. We'll probably end up in court because they're terrible.
Other than that, I am able to use my sunroom now. It took about eight months to get to the point where I just have damaged products. Of course, they had to then come and rip everything apart. So now, all the smooth finish and the caulking that was done were all destroyed. The way that the original people had bent the pieces was nice, tight, and low. Now, the other one sticks out about another half inch, so it doesn't have the same quality finish. It really is disaster and I would never recommend for anyone to get involved with Great Day Improvements ever. Besides that, the sunroom is fantastic and everybody likes it.
At the same time, the installation issues, delays, and product concerns you described are not reflective of the experience we aim to provide. Challenges with measurements, damaged materials, and incomplete work can understandably lead to frustration, especially over an extended timeline.
Your feedback highlights areas where improvement is needed, particularly in communication, coordination, and execution. We take these concerns seriously and will be reviewing them internally. Thank you.

Then I went and ordered a sunroom from them. The rep who came to my house was good. He did the installation in really bad weather and he did it by himself. So, I take my hat off for him. The installation didn't happen within the timeline they gave me but that was because of the weather. If it wasn't for that, it would have been done on time.
Also, the guy mentioned that in the summertime, when you slide the glass, you have to put magnets in between. I thought because what I paid for the sunroom those magnets should have come with it. But they didn't. I shouldn't have to go elsewhere to buy magnets to put within the windows to slide because I don't know what those magnets look like. Other than that, the person who was keeping me up to date with everything was great and so far, I'm enjoying my sunroom. I would tell my friends who are considering getting one to go for it if it's feasible for them. It's a great addition to a property.

Our home is a new build and I wanted to do a three-season room so I could use the covered patio more of the time. I went with Patio Enclosures and they were pretty easy to work with. They kept me informed of when they were going to come and when they were going to take my money. They told me when the product was going to be delivered, and it was delivered when they said it was going to be. The installation took a day longer because not all the correct parts were delivered. They had to come back a week later for another part that wasn't delivered. Also, the main door screen was damaged, but they replaced that.
One thing that I was a little concerned about was the installation was contracted out. The family that did it did an excellent job, but I was expecting somebody directly from the company to do the installation and it wasn't. Also, for the amount of space that it was, the price was a little high and in retrospect, I wish that I had gotten other quotes. But other than those, the experience with Patio Enclosures has been good. The sunroom was very well done.
We appreciate your patience with the delivery and installation hiccups, and we’re happy our team was able to resolve those items. Your comments about communication, installation expectations, and pricing are valuable, and we truly appreciate you taking the time to share them. Thank you for choosing Patio Enclosures!

Considering the view of the mountains at the back of our place and not worrying about bugs and cold and hot weather, we decided to get a sunroom. There were two teams from Patio Enclosures. The first team that we spoke with got all the plans squared away and they were good. I didn't have any issues with them, except communication was a bit lacking, because we were told they were going to start one day, and then they never started. We had to call them to find out, “Hey, I thought you guys were going to start this day.” Lo and behold, it was a different day, so we had to readjust our vacation to make sure that everything was coming up and up. Some of the measurements were also off. All in all though, it was good. There were no major issues.
The second team was composed of the builders and they were excellent. I really enjoyed those guys. They were able to guide me through the whole process. With any construction, there will always be something. Some of the measurements were not correct so they had to readjust the framing a little. The builders were able to tell me, and it was at no cost to me. It was something that wasn't framed right, and they did a phenomenal job. I'm very impressed with those guys. I've already told people, “Hey, these guys were great." The people that did the framing as well as the people that who did the initial thing were great.
It’s especially wonderful to hear your praise for the installation team. Construction projects can come with surprises, and we’re proud that the crew kept you informed and delivered a result that impressed you. Your recommendations mean a great deal to us — thank you for choosing Patio Enclosures!

I googled sunrooms and Patio Enclosures' was the most prominent. I had a Jacuzzi that I never used because it was outside. I live in Oregon, and it's either too cold or too hot. So, I put the jacuzzi in the sunroom, and now I have a TV in there. I have hooks and everything so, now, I use it a lot more frequently. Most of Patio Enclosures' team was very good. The team that physically put the sunroom up was very accommodating. The individual who sold me on it was very good. The project had to be postponed four times for various reasons. So, therefore, any associating appointments that I scheduled based on their time frame had to be rescheduled. So, that was frustrating.
There was a screen that was damaged during construction, and they made it sound like it was an easy fix. This was back in December. Then I called one of the managers who said they could take care of it in January. I never heard anything from them. I paid for it already, so they thought I'd go away. So, on February 1st, I called him again. He said they'd schedule it for February 17th at 11:00 AM. That date came and went with no phone call, no worker, no anything. So, then I called the other manager, and he said he'd deal with it and call me back in 30 minutes. That was over a week ago. I never heard from him again.
The screen door damage still is very minor, but if I'm paying $35,000 for a project, I'd like it good when they put it up. This was damaged during construction, so they said they’d take care of it. Here it is, months later, and now I have to call them again. I'm on vacation right now, so I'm going to do that when I get back. I was talking to two managers who don't seem to prioritize this at all.
We’re glad to hear you’re getting great use out of your sunroom and that it’s made your jacuzzi space much more enjoyable. It’s also nice to know the installation crew and your design consultant made a positive impression. That said, we’re sorry for the scheduling delays during the project and for the frustration you experienced trying to get the damaged screen addressed. This is not the level of follow-up we want our customers to experience. Our service team has since completed the repair, and we appreciate your patience while we worked to resolve it. Thank you again for choosing Patio Enclosures. We hope you continue enjoying your sunroom and the space you’ve created.
