I have a contractor's account with them and they made a fraudulent $1000+ charge on my account and harassed me for months to pay. It wasn't until 4+ hours on the phone and me threatening to sue that they backed off. Then they said, "Oh sorry," after wasting my time and almost sending me to collections, countless back and forth emails etc. Nothing was done about their store making a fake thousand dollar charge on my contractor's account. Maybe that's how they run their business? Get people to make accounts and make fake charges then hope they don't notice? Stick to Benjamin Moore, better service and better products.

Went to one store in Howard WI and was told they did not have the color to mix the color I needed and no one else did either. Called store in Green Bay on Oneida St and they said they had it. Went to pick it up and was never showed the color or told that we should prime before using. Color when opened was way lighter than the color asked for. Went to return and was not given refund. The employees that are there on weekends do not know what they are doing. Ended up going to True Value in Howard and they were awesome and knew what to tell me.

The best paint on the market. From economy to industrial, I have used all of their products. I have tried other paint from box stores and there is no comparison. Dependability, durability, ease of use are the main pros to Sherwin Williams paint.

High quality finish and rich color is the main read on I use this product. Their SuperPaint line covers in one coat, excellent for exterior trim work. The service is excellent, fast reliable and most of all knowable.

In the past I always used Sears' Weatherbeater paint with perfect results, exterior and interior. After the decline of Sears, I have used SW paint for over 15 years and extremely happy, especially with the higher end selections. Most SW staff are very informative and cooperative as well.

Since I have posted my previous review the store where I bought my paint has contacted me and will honor their warranty. I am able to get 6 gallons of a more washable paint to redo my walls. The cost of the labor charges are not covered.

It's very affordable and high quality. They have have a vary of colors and the durability is to die for. It's washable and has this glossy effect after paint, easy to mix and use. Easy on the pockets. I highly recommend.

Sherwin Williams paint goes on nicely, covers well and cleans up nicely afterward. They carry a vast variety of options and finishes to suit all circumstances. The new urethane based trim paint is great.

I've been painting my homes for over 50 years and found Sherwin-Williams to be the easiest best paint I've used. It's the last as long as you like it too unless you're changing colors in rooms. The color selection is very Broad and if you need a variation they will change it at my particular store.

The Sherwin-Williams where I purchased the paint has a helpful staff. They answered my questions about the difference between glossy and flat finish. I was able to choose from a variety of different shades in each color and which colors were complimentary. The quality of the paint is great. It can be easily wiped down. I would definitely recommend this paint brand and company. I will use this paint brand again.

I use the oil based paints and I really like the paint, my only complaint is the paint is so thin. It is hard to cover using a paint brush and even when I spray it goes on thin. The paint is reasonable in price.

True colors.. Amazing. I was hesitate between this paints or another one, then compared the colors and found that this one is the best. I mixed 2 of the colors to get my own colors. I strongly recommend this product.

The cost of paint is the smallest expense. Labor being the largest expense. I am the only person on the block that uses Sherwin-Williams. My house has the freshest looking paint. They have to paint their house twice to everybody single time I paint mine.

One of the things I like about Sherwin Williams Paint is its extensive use and availability. I am in the Window Treatment Business and matching paint for Shutters is much easier due to the wide use of Sherwin Williams in nicer homes. Everything looks better when there is a perfect match. I would also like to point out they have the best coverage, look and selections to suit all your needs.

A high quality paint at a reasonable price. A wide variety of products available. The paint store can mix any color you might want. Tell the store clerk what you want to paint and follow the clerk's advice. My experience is if you pick the right paint product for the job, you will be satisfied with the result.

We bought our townhouse 3 years ago, and the previous owner had some very dark walls painted throughout the house. With Sherwin Williams, we didn't even need primer and we were to completely change the look of our home with just two coats of "lighter" paint throughout our home.

For starters, I need less product to produce better results over other brands. This saves time and money. I have yet to have them match paint that is not exact to what I provide as the sample. It blows me away every time. They have simple choices to make the purchase experience a breeze. And as far as price or money spent for this product...simply not a concern. It is second to NONE!

Sherwin-Williams is a good paint, covers walls very easily. The consistency is great. They can create any color that your heart desires. I enjoy going to the store and talking with the salesman tending the store. They usually are very busy because not only are they helping customers, many paint contractors are there getting their paints for the houses they are building.

I routinely use Sherwin-Williams paints because of their quality. They are usually self-leveling which means there are fewer brush strokes, provide a good sheen for cleaning, and I like their durability. I find the prices to be a bit higher than other paints but like knowing I can rely on their product.

Never have an issue with SH paint. Best coverage. 20 years still looks great. Customer service in my small hometown is awesome. Tried Lowe's brand and wasted 40.00. Had to redo with SH and never had issue or complaints.

Used SW to paint my entire inside of my house. Coverage was great, low odor, some of the colors required only 1 coat. Paint is thick which helps when painting not to have it run down the roller. SW does a great job of making custom paints and color matching. SW often puts paint on sale or you can use paint perks.

Sherwin-Williams by far is a superior paint to other paints on the market. We are a painting company and exclusively use Sherwin William paints. The product is easy to work with and offers a low odor paint. The paint spreads well and has a very good hide. Most people go for the "cheaper" paint but if you want quality and quantity definitely go for Sherwin Williams. Pay the extra for a great job that lasts and looks great.

I needed to match a color from 15 years ago that was discontinued ten years ago. The store matched the color perfectly and I got the 40% off sale price as well! The original paint was still good. The problem was the lumber had been damaged.

The paint is sustainable, usually long lasting. I’ve never had any real problems with it and I can honestly recommend it to friends. The Sherwin-Williams oil-based paint always covers in one coat but after 3 rich coats on furniture or any wood sanding between each coat the final product is a highline professional product that is hard and feels as smooth as a babies’ bottom. I use it for shelves, tables, chairs and trim. The paint will last forever and look great. The oil-based paint doesn’t clean easily. It takes paint thinner, mineral spirits, turpentine or gas not water to clean it. The look and feel of Sherwin-Williams oil-based paint is worth the extra clean-up.

I purchased Sherwin Williams HDTV paint at Lowe’s and l was very pleased at how well it covered in just one coat...even over a darker color! I’ve used their products for years and have been very satisfied!

LOVE Sherwin Williams products and their employees! The availability of colors and sheen along with the option to purchase a sampling quantity of paint has allowed me to realize the subtle different hues of blue on a wall as well as the ability to paint smaller objects without having to purchase an entire gallon of paint. Excellent quality paint! Their Pro Classic Gloss enamel is way better than what the big box home improvement stores sell. It brushes and flows to a smooth even finish. Definitely worth the premium price.

Just a better overall paint. Better finish, better quality, more depth of colors. Valspar comes close but it's really just a cheaper quality Sherman Williams at a cheaper price point. The other options are not even that in my opinion. Sherman Williams is head and shoulders above the competition.

It covered well. The color was just right. It Wasnt runny. It didnt smell bad, low voc. I can wipe it clean. What else can be said about paint. I almost always buy Sherwin Williams. It's good paint that goes on well and covers well, and can be cleaned without rubbing it off.

The one roll application is very important to me. It saves time and money. This paint does this. The color match is another advantage, because you bring a photo of the item you want to match the paint and it’s done! Very nice feature if you want match or contrast a wall or a ceiling. I highly recommend this paint. Don’t forget the stains and sealers, they are very good. One thing, look for the once a year sale, you’ll save a lot of money. Call your store and asked them when their yearly starts.

The actual paint product is good, but the customer service is exceptional especially at the store located on Freeport Road in Pittsburgh. These guys are the reason I return. They know paint and they go out of their way to help with the correct paint as well as color choices and tools.

Option are very good & luster is fine, good quality & value for money. Also lf we do design art work on wall than have a good choice of selection within same quality with better effect than other paints.

We repainted our kitchen wall in order to get our deposit. The color was perfect. The wall looked beautiful and security deposit returned. If we buy another house this will be the paint we will use.

Paint stays fresh with excellent color match for a long time even in a partially empty can. If the painted surfaces have not faded, and you need more of the same paint, the color match by paint formula on the lid is dead on.

Paint goes on very smooth with no splatter or mess, I do not use a dropcloth! Clean-up is a breeze. Paint is very durable. Every Sherwin-Williams I have been in is consistent, the employees are terrific!

The staff at my local Sherwin-Williams store is always helpful and considerate. While considering my latest project (a bathroom makeover), a nice ceiling paint for damp areas was recommended. The paint went on nicely and when completed had a nice smooth finish.

The paint is just ok, not the best. Other brands are far superior for about the same price. Even their high grade paints are very thin and don't cover as well as their competitors. They don't have as wide of a selection of colors either. I do like that they store your name and what room the paint is for in case you need more.

I honestly have no idea...this is just the only paint I've ever used. For all I know, maybe some other brand is better, but Sherwin Williams worked well for me. I think we also bought stain for our deck from this brand.

We can get our paint mixed and match. Paint 8-10 years old. It is so nice to pick a color and be able to touch up fingerprints or paint over minor repairs. It has always worked without problems or having to choose a new color and paint again.

Just repainted the kitchen, dining, foyer, hall, ceiling & trim with S&W Paint. One coat application, looks great. Very low VOC when applying & drying. A bit more expensive than the big box stores, but worth it.

Sherwin Williams has several different paint options, And the most of the one I like is the Super Paint and Captivate.

I just restored an old farmhouse and I used their HGTV paint from Lowes. The coverage was excellent, even though I always do two coats. The odor was very low and tolerable. I will use this paint for my own house. I have always purchased Benjamin Moore paint in the past. But I am so happy with the quality and price point this Sherwin-Williams HGTV paint, I am a new happy customer and would recommend it to anyone.

Sherman Williams has a high quality, durable paint. They have a large color selection to choose from. I painted my first level and 2nd level hallway, giving my home a new look. I searched other paint brands but found best selection with Sherman Williams after sampling many samples of paint on the wall throughout the house. Looking during day, blinds open, blinds shut. Lights out, lights on, then dimmed. Sherman Williams outshined every brand.

I love the paint over all.. The one thing a kid 6A little bit is coverage.. In some cases I had to use 3 Coats of the paint. The good thing is I can erase marks without the paint coming off which I really like.

I have used SW interior and exterior products along with some special commercial garage floor paint materials and I would highly recommend it to anyone. I purchase 17 gallon of pro mark 200 paint and I think it one of the best Sherwin-Williams sell. This paint is very good and just one coat did the job the first time but since I purchase 17 gallon I use a second coat and had 2 gallon left from painting the wall and ceiling in my whole home.

Offers a variety of colors. Quality of paint is stellar, holds well and provides excellent coverage. Door and trim paint is the best because it can withstands a lot of wear and tear, especially around the baseboards. Overall, Sherwin Williams offer great products hands down! I use it for all of my home paint projects.

This brand of paint is great on price, easy clean up and great coverage. During the summer I use a stain that I have been using for years on my wooden deck, and only have to use it every three years.

This is one of the most recognized brands worldwide, is one of my favorites for the consistency and speed of drying of the paint. Has good colors and durability is fascinating and not easily destroyed by water, or the sun, or changing temperature, for this reason I prefer to use always.

High cost with poor performance. I have had 2 houses using Sherwin-Williams and the exterior paint breaks down too fast. This leaves wood exposed to the environment. After using another brand I will never go back.

It's cool and good texture on the wall, nonwashable, it's smooth on the wall, beautiful from a far distance. Kits more reliable and advisable for painters to use. More essential and valuable. I love it and can tell more about this product to other people out about the product.

Its quality is smooth. The colour is to my like. Quantity is appropriate. You can get it from most stores. Prices are good and affordable. Kids are eager to make their choices from the varieties of colours. That appeals kids to put the little hands in helping parents to complete their dream jobs in renovating the house.

I've use other paints in the past but this brand has upheld alot better especially when my girls were smaller. Clean up better and color didn't fade. Washing down spots alot easier and did not run off or fade or bleed thru. I would highly recommend this brand because I have used this brand in the past, the last brand I bought was a different brand for inside and out and I'm definitely not satisfied with.

I've used it before, I like how it spreads on the surface of choice, well known brand used by many painters. I have always preferred Sherwin Williams over other brands, it's durable against scuffs, the multi primer/paint only needs 2 coats to cover a wall or project.

The color is constant in every gallon required, coverage is excellent, the application process is smooth, using a brush or a roller the paint is always consistent, it is easily available at a wide range of distributors and the price is comparable to the brands on the market.

When applying the paint it goes on very smooth. I usually don't need a second COAT on my walls. I add a second layer of the paint to cover any spots that I missed. When using bolder colors, like orange, light gold or medium blue, which I have those colors on some of my walls at this present time. I would really love to try mauve and pink trim for my kitchen. I prefer bold colors, and Sherwin-Williams seem to carry exactly the colors that I truly believe in. I've searched for paint in Home Depot and Lowe's, and I wasn't satisfied.

Duration has the best coverage. We've tried them all, and while Emerald and Cashmere are decent, Duration is the one we keep coming back to. Last room I painted was a one coat job, which seldom happens.

I find them more knowledgeable than the people who work at Home Depot or Lowe's, etc. They usually know their product better and can give you guidance on how to do a DIY project successfully. Purchased a 1936 Spanish bungalow with plaster walls 9 years ago. It needed a complete paint job inside and outside. The paints I used, both flat and semi gloss were excellent. Coverage was 1 coat over darker walls that were not flat and smooth like drywall. I was able to coordinate colors that complimented the architecture of that era. Customer service was excellent and personalized...They have a record of what I bought in case I want to touch up at some point. 9 years later the paint looks just as good as when I first painted it. I highly recommend Sherwin Williams paint products and their service.

When they have a 40% off sale, I buy the paint I need and two or three extra gallons of paint unmixed. When I need a paint, I take the unmixed paint back and they will mix a color to it without charge. Sales clerks are very knowledgeable, always asking if I need extra brushes or tape and give me ample stir sticks.

Lots and lots of colors- plus custom mixes- with a wide variety of finishes, bases, combined with excellent application, finish, durability and satisfaction... Finished our entire condo in 3 days, it now looks and feels like an entirely brand new home. Highly recommended!

Used a premium Behr in one room and it was a nightmare. Way too thick, hard to spread. Switched back to Sherwin-Williams, not the most expensive, went on like silk. Worth spending more money on paint. SW holds up better over the years. Customer service at their stores is great and they keep all your color purchases on file.

Behr takes second place, it has been reliable, Glidden is like painting with watercolors, horrible paint.

Sherwin-Williams has high-quality paint. It covers very well and has also held up well so far. It is a little more expensive than other brands, so it would be nice if the price was a little lower. Their sample paint also comes in 1-quart containers instead of the small ones at most paint stores. I would prefer a smaller, cheaper container.

I purchased a log sided home that was stained when we bought it. Sap was still bleeding through the stain so I decided to paint it in hopes that the paint would stop the sap bleed. I chose to use Behr paint. That was a mistake. This was a 2600 sq. ft. home. I painted the house 3 years in a row with Behr paint and continued to have sap bleed EVERY YEAR. I was so disappointed. I tried one more year but decided to use Sherwin Williams paint. IT WORKED, one application and the sap bleed STOPPED. That lasted for 5 years and at that point needed some touch up but certainly not an entire paint job. Thank you Sherwin Williams for keeping me from painting my house EVERY year.

They insisted they would provide paint because their friend or family member work for Sherwin Williams so they could get a great price. Sounded like a plan. Have allowed customers to do this in the past. No problem.

The only reason that I used this paint was because it is the only one my painter used. I was able to go to the store and pick out the colors, though. They hold up well, but I think BEHR is better.

I was very impressed, I notice that it took only one pass to cover the wall, of course we did 2 passes, but with other paints I used before will take me up 3 passes to cover well. Great product SW.

I did extensive research on the product trim enamel paint, I went to my local store and the staff was of no help, one actually commented, “you're gonna do this by yourself?” And gave me no insight or dialogue that could’ve helped my D.I.Y effort. First there were issues with the colors then they tried to change it and added the wrong pigments. I reached out to the company and they sent me to another store. The staff there seemed amicable and gave me two replacement gallons. Thrilled that I thought this was a solution. The colors finally being correct, ok application. It dried to the consistency of chalk. (Yes it was thoroughly mixed.) Satin shouldn’t look like chalk paint. I feel very ripped off by them.

The paint goes very smooth... It leaves a shine that no other paint does... It has large selection of colors and schemes that you don't see with other brands.. Once dry the shine comes out brilliantly.
