My experience is a small sample, about 8 wash cycles using a friends (this Kenmore washing machine). The first 5 cycles I used as directed and resulted in my clothes not being cleaned well. I found that my clothes were finishing the cycle completely dry. Not a result of an ultra spin, they never got wet! I also found that Kenmore's direction of add soap 1st, then clothes results in direct soap contact to dry clothes, leaving evidence after the drying cycle that ruins clothes. I've been doing my laundry in the type that fills the tub with H20 and detergent, then I agitate for about 10 seconds to achieve a tub of suds and water. Then I add clothes. A recipe for success, always.

This Kenmore machine lacks the ability to introduce clothes to soapy water. Failure follows. In an effort to achieve a tub full of soapy water (because this low water high efficiency machine will not) I fill buckets from the sink and add to the tub. You might think problem solved? We'll the sensors sense this and drain the water. Plan B- add clothes first (against Kenmore's direction) then some water then soap, then more water. This gets my clothes wet and soapy because I agitate the soap in the bucket first, but the sensors continue to drain the soapy water. Totally against the 'trying to wash with soapy water' elementary idea. This idea of low water high efficiency stinks and does a very poor job at the 1 thing its is designed to do, to wash clothes and leave clothes clean and fresh! This is NOT an IMPROVEMENT! NOT EFFICIENT! An attempt to fix what was NOT broken is a huge failure.

Technology today is built to fail so you have to buy something new in only a few years. I miss the days when appliances lasted for decades, like my 20+ yo Maytag Dryer! I just paid a "Sears Home Services" technician $129 to tell me it would cost over $900 to fix my 7 yo 'He' KENMORE (model 11026132411) washing machine. [It experienced E2 and F6 errors that would stop the wash cycle and you'd have to rinse and rewash everything and it might do it again so you'd rinse and rewash again. The drum also would periodically grind.] $900 is more than I paid for the machine new! Disgusting. I guess I'll be shopping for a new Maytag washing machine.

I thought Kenmore used to make good appliances. But reliability has gone down. The toilet exactly where I'd like to send my kenmore pile of junk washing machine? It's a test in anger management! I'm gonna roll it out into the yard and blow 2 slugs through it with my double barrel 16 gauge shotgun! Kenmore you are total junk! I'm passing the word!

I bought one of these a year ago and is already not working. It just keeps going through cycles and won't stop. Keep in mind I live alone so there is not much laundry to give me issues. I thought this was a good brand. Very disappointed.

WHY did I buy this Kenmore piece of junk! I have a top load series 600 HE washer. My clothes come out with white streaks, dirty, and smelly. MY cat peed on a shirt of mine the other day. I washed it in a smallish load with HE detergent, and it came out smelling like cat pee. I bought a shirt at the thrift store, and you know the thrift store clothes smell like. After a load with the best smelling Tide I could find? Came out still smelling like a thrift store.

I am a landlord and provide washers and dryers in my units. I had purchased a Kenmore Series 500 High Efficiency pair for a unit. The washer had only been used for about one year. The motor went out, cost to replace the motor cost almost as much as a new unit. No more Kenmore in my units.

I have a Kenmore top loader 'big boy' that's deep, it's model 110.21652020. RUN from this machine as fast as you can! I have hated it since Day 1. Leaves residue no matter what detergent you buy! Does not rinse thoroughly, and the Delicate cycle is NOT delicate in the least! It just ruined a lovely rug that I have, after running it on the express delicate cycle. I can't wait for it to die, I'm so mad.

I thought a top loader with an agitator would get the clothes cleaner than the front loader, but it doesn't. The plastic hinge on the right side of the lid broke over time and now the lid won't latch so it won't come on. I have to hold the lid down while I hold the start button till it comes on. I tried to order a replacement part and it's the whole lid but no hinges so it doesn't solve the problem. The hinge needs to be metal.

This washer is HUGE and takes DOUBLE the time to wash a small load of clothes. Saving energy my butt! It doesn't drain correctly, often leaving the hour and a half washed clothes soaked, so I have to put it on again to 'drain and rinse.' HOWEVER, it refills it with water instead of draining and rinsing it, make the clothes even more wet. I either have to let it sit the entire day to dry a little by themselves or run the Kenmore dryer two or three times to get this one load of clothes dry. DO NOT BUY KENMORE! They are rip-offs!

My eight-year-old Kenmore Series 200 had broken down, and would cost more to repair than what a new one would. So I bought the Series 100. Within a week, it was leaking from the bottom of the machine. A tech came to look at it, said it was defective, and had a new one ordered for me. Within a week, the replacement starting leaking from the bottom of the machine. I find it absolutely ridiculous that Kenmore puts out such shoddy products that can't even go the week without a serious problem, and I'm stunned that I got stuck with two of them in a row. I'm having the replacement taken back, getting my money refunded, and going with Maytag.
