We were getting ready to look for a new shower and we liked Independent Home's product. A sales rep came in and showed us the product. We wanted to get rid of the tub and we didn't want a walk-in tub. We wanted a walk-in shower. The installers were very nice. They were professional and did very good work. We like the final product and we're really happy with it. It's not just one of those things that you stick in there. It's a nice marble and it goes all the way to the ceiling. It has crown molding and everything. It really looks nice. Also, there's a bar for when we get older. We can hang onto it if we need to. There's a seat that's right into the wall too.

We enjoyed having Dean and Alex install our new shower. They did a diligent, careful job, quietly and carefully, and left us with a beautiful shower. We would gladly hire them again anytime and would highly recommend them to everyone!

I had a company called Bath Fitter come out and they gave me an estimate. Their product was like paper thin that goes on the wall. They cover the bathtub and they didn’t do any kinda work. A guy from Independent Home came and he had some samples of their product. It was great. It was real thick, and it was zinc. The price was good too and purchasing was not difficult at all. I just made two payments.

Independent Home came around and gave me a pretty good price. My wife who is 84 has gotten to where she's been having a difficult time putting her leg over the side of the bathtub. I went with them and their installer had to take a hacksaw and cut the steel bathtub out. He then installed a shower inside. They did a very good job and cleaned up the area. However, I had some people came in and thought the price was a little high. Also, my wife wasn't too happy with the door. Still, their reps were courteous and answered my questions. I would recommend them to almost anybody.

The installer were very professional and courteous. They did a very good job on our new shower. They were on time and very courteous to me and my husband. They made sure the shower was going to be a good fit for us. Thank you Independent Home for everything.

We were needing a new bathroom, and my husband had just fallen in the other bathroom. We couldn’t use that bathroom because the leak ran underneath the whole bathroom and it made our floor buckle up. We had that shower about six years and we couldn’t use it. We had discussed getting another shower so when this man from Independent Home called, we were ready to get a new shower. He was very good but we did have a problem with the installation. The install guy widened our door but when he did it, he cut a wire. When they put the door frame in, they sat it down on another wire and the door cramped it. We had to call an electrician in.

We got a walk-in shower from Independent Home and it was great. The salesperson was really nice. He was really helpful. Everything that went from the salesperson to the install was top-notch. They got here early and were real prepared. They got it done within 4 hours and they cleaned up after themselves.

Ari from Independent Homes was extremely helpful in explaining all about the shower to me and my husband. His worker Tony was extremely professional in every manner. Tony's work was excellent. He made sure that the Shower was installed properly even with all the problems in my house due to nothing being level. I would recommend I.D.H to my family and friends. We got a robocall from Independent Home that I accidentally answered. We wanted to get rid of the bathtub and have a shower in there but there was a problem. You needed to build a wall because you couldn’t have a shower without a wall. So, it was something we needed to solve and Independent Home did it for us. They built the wall and they put in the walk-in shower. We’re getting up in age and figured one day we may need a walk-in shower with a seat. Neither one of us cared for the idea of a walk-in tub.

A very professional job. They bent over backwards to make sure we were happy with the work. The shower is going to be a blessing to us. The sales team and install team did a very good job. We think that the shower will be a good fit for us.

My installers arrived and quickly went to work covering my floors and removing anything that might be damaged during the work process. Every evening when they left, they cleaned up anything that needed to be cleaned. They worked quickly and efficiently to remove the old tile walls and tub and get everything ready for the new walls and tub floor. I couldn't ask for competent workmanship and I am very happy with the new shower. I know I will enjoy many years of safe showering in my own home.

This lady came to my door one evening and told me about Independent Home. I didn’t have any other company talk to me so I just took this one right away. I got the shower and I like it. I had a shower before but this one seems nicer. The reps put new faucets on the shower but I got a new sink too and they just put the old faucets back on. But they said they’re gonna send somebody with the faucets and put them on for me. So, that was nice.

Sales person very nice and explained about materials used on shower. Workmen called to tell me when they would arrive, and did arrive at that time. They were very professional in doing job and seemed to take pride in their work. They clean up when they finished for day. They explained how new equipment worked, and answered my questions.

We went with Independent Home for the ease of the installation, the quality of the materials, and customer satisfaction. Their sales team was wonderful. But we had hurricanes, floods and power outages after we bought the walk-in shower in October, so the installation was delayed for a couple of weeks. But when the tech finally got here, the installation was fast, nice and competent. The tech stayed for two and a half days, and then he was out and it was all cleaned up.

Since I'm old, I wanted a walk-in shower. I saw a lot of advertisements but I didn’t like any of them. Then Independent Home came along and I bought their product. It is more attractive than other brands. I paid too much for it, but I just bought it anyway. The design lacks some thought, though. It was more designed for parents than it was for utilities, but it is okay. Independent Home could change the shower head and put a longer cord on it, and change the position of the safety bars. The installation people were excellent, nevertheless.

We are so proud of our new walk in shower. Scott and Jeffrey our installers were wonderful. They did everything they said they would do and more. They were on time every day, had great personalities, were accommodating, professional and now our friends.

Showed up to work on time, very friendly very professional. Went over shower operation so I could understand the way to work it. Kept work area very neat and clean. Took caution to protect my house and property. Like the look of the shower material and am very satisfied.

The two men who installed our shower were very experienced, professional and pleasant. They answered our questions to our satisfaction. They informed us of what they were doing with every step. We are very happy with the look of the shower and would recommend to family and friends.

My husband is disabled and he has a lot of trouble stepping over the edge of the tub to get in to get a shower. We decided to take the tub out and put in an Independent Home walk-in shower. My experience in dealing with their dealer was very pleasant. They were most accommodating and very helpful. They explained what they were gonna do and they cleaned up everything they brought in. They worked hard and they got it done in three days and we were very pleased.

Mike, the salesman, explained everything very well, and it was just like he said. Nate, project manager, was pleasant to deal with. The installer, Shasta **, arrived just when she told me she would. I was so impressed with her. She took great care of my home, and each day when she left, everything was put away and clean. She never brought any food or drink in my house. I only have one bathroom, and she went out of her way to make accommodations for me. I thoroughly enjoyed having her in my home. She could not have been more pleasant. She told me every day what she would be doing, and every afternoon what was left. I trusted her completely. I am so pleased with my new walk-in shower, commode, floor, and vanity top.

The Independent Home installation team was very good, although I was gonna call the head installer because I wanna get two more of the rubber guides on the slide doors. The doors rattle a bit if you bump it slightly when they are open. The rubber guides take the rattle out of it if I put one in the middle of that rail that comes down the wall. I'm surprised they don't do it automatically, but it would be a good idea. Nonetheless, the result has been very good. I don't have to get my wife down the basement to shower. She has Alzheimer's, so it is a difficult problem.

The walk-in shower that we got from Independent Home is working nicely. It’s a shower that has a little seat in there and it’s one that I can get in and out of. My daughter was looking around at stuff and dealt with them, but we were unanimous in our decision at the time with all of us saying that going with them would be okay. The installers were friendly and answered my questions. They were very capable and did a good job. We had stuff on this end taken care of and out of the way as much as possible. On their end, they kept right on the job and ended up doing it all in one day. My granddaughters were here and used the shower and they thought it was really neat. Independent Home is a little more expensive than some of the other companies, but they did a good job of explaining everything and they were on top of what they were doing.

The rep of Independent Home came out and gave us the estimate. I liked what we were shown so we went ahead and got the shower. The installation was great. The people that came were really good and finished up on the third day. I love the walk-in shower and I'm very satisfied with it. Everything worked out really good for us. They’ve turned out great. However, when they got through, they got stuck and messed up the yard a bit when they were getting out. But that wasn’t their fault. It was raining really hard and the ground was so soft. They ended up having to have a tow truck come to get them out. So, it messed up the yard. They offered to come back and we told them, “No.” My daughter went out the next day and tried to smooth some of it out a bit, so hopefully, it’ll get back normal. My son-in-law said when the weather got a little bit better he’d go out there and work on it.

I fell and broke my hip and so I couldn't get in my tub. My shower was over my tub so my son said that maybe we could get a walk in shower. Thereafter, someone called and mentioned Independent Home and said that they were having interviews in our area. So, I made an appointment. I didn't think I could afford it, but then I wangled around and got it to where I could make the payments. Their reps and installation team did a wonderful job. Getting Independent Home's walk-in shower was the best thing that ever happened to me. I really enjoy taking a shower and with it, I can just go in and have my bath over with in a matter of minutes. I have a grandson and his family that live in Jacksonville, and they were home for Christmas, and they really liked it.

I had a wonderful experience with Independent Home. My husband could not get in the bathtub, so we got a walk-in shower and went with Independent Home. They have a high-quality product. We had a father and son crew for the installation and they were wonderful. They worked with us, too. My husband had a doctor’s appointment, so the crew delayed until we got back from the doctor. They came in and worked later that night. And then, they came back the next day and finished up. My husband was very happy with the shower. I would recommend Independent Home to anybody.

I'm 89 years old and my health is not good so I was looking into getting a walk-in shower. I came to an agreement with Independent Home. I wanted it and they said that they weren't the cheapest, but they weren't the most expensive either. The installation team were excellent to me. They did a good job for our bathroom. However, I haven't been in the basement to see what they did there. And my daughter said they left kind of a mess in the basement of the pipes that they cut.

I heard about Independent Home from the internet and the advertisement settled it for me. I got a walk-in shower and the model that I chose was a quality product. Everybody was upfront with it when I bought it which convinced me and during installation, I had a great interaction with their team.

My wife and I are getting old and we need something that we could handle. Their reps and construction people were great, and the installation team did a good and quick job. It only took them two days when they said they would need three to five days. They have put the shower in really nice.

I have bad legs. I also couldn't get in and out of my tub for good. So, I thought, Independent Home would be a good deal. I decided to get a shower from them. I waited a while because I didn't know about the price of it 'cause I thought it was pretty high. I thought about it more. And then I called them and told them that I would like somebody to come and talk to me about it. I like the shower really well. The only thing I don't like is I have one backdoor on it. It jumps a track every once in a while. But I like the rest of it 'cause it has some nice seat in it in case my legs get tired and I can sit down on it too.

I like Independent Home's price and the way their products looked. We got a shower and I really like that I can just walk in and out. I got a shower curtain on, and sometimes it's hard to keep it dry outside the shower. But other than that, if after I ever get used to it and figured it out better, I'll probably be able to handle that, too. I really like the shower. It's easy to get in. It doesn't seem to put me out as much as getting into a regular bathtub.

I had no problems talking to the reps. They answered everything straightforward. Also, the installers were good, professional and well-prepared. They knew what they were doing and we were pleased. We love the walk-in shower that we got. It is very accessible for my husband to get in and out of. It’s roomier, it feels a whole lot better than what we had, and we like all the features on it. I would highly recommend Independent Home to others. Independent Home delivers what they promise and things are done in a timely manner.

I've been looking around for walk-ins for a couple of months but I'm handicapped and I can't get around that easy so the sales rep came here and told me about Independent Home and then set me a price on it. I got a walk-in shower where the showerhead slides up and down on one end and with the extension. It has a fold-down seat to sit on and I can pull my wheelchair right up to it. He was good, but he overstated what he was gonna deliver. I was supposed to get hand bars when I talked to him but I didn't get it, so I had to buy them myself and the safety bars to hold on to when I'm in there. It was also a shame that Independent didn't have the shower that I wanted. But the installation team was great. They came and they seemed to have done a good job. Everything seemed to be sturdy. They cleaned up after themselves and hauled away the old. I'm happy with Independent because it's really what I needed.

My husband and I, and our children have been talking about ways to handle getting older. We had been talking about showers and we were looking into the possibilities of changing that part of the bathroom. So when we were approached by an Independent Home rep, it made good sense to look more seriously. There was nothing that we could find that was negative so we went with them. We probably would not have done it, have we not talked to our kids before. We have been encouraged by them to think about changes because we're on this foot level house and we're getting older. We always shower so we need it.

Overall I enjoyed the service John & his crew provided. The shower & vanity top are beautiful. We had a measurement snag with the vanity top but a new top was sent out and they quickly installed it. John is very courteous and friendly and even gave me the opportunity to inspect his work. Good job!

I purchased a Walk-in Shower a few weeks ago and wanted to let you know I am very pleased with this shower. The quality is excellent and it will add value to our home. I am 76 and was starting to have a problem getting in my tub shower. The new walk in is so easy to get in. I was impressed with your company when the day before the installation, a gentlemen arrived with the vanity top I had ordered. He told me the vanity was not ready when the truck was delivered, so he drove all the way from Kansas to Texarkana, Texas to bring it to me so that when the installer came, it would be here and the installation would not be delayed. Mike **, the specialist who sold me the product, was very knowledgeable and easy to talk with!

I had fallen on the shower a couple of times and my wife had also. We are getting up in age and so we needed something that we could just step in and take a shower as opposed to keep stepping up in the tub and taking a chance on falling. We ended up getting a walk-in shower from Independent Home and it was outstanding. We are enjoying it. We got it for the future and now I do not need the wheelchair ramp. The installers were very professional. We were kept informed as to what was happening and what the next steps in the process would be. Now that it is completed the shower looks great. We need to wait a couple days to use but we are looking forward to enjoying it for many years.

My husband had a medical procedure that required a walk-in shower. Our old shower had an 8-inch step-up into the shower and that wasn't gonna work. When I went online and investigated, somehow my name came up on Independent Home's list and they called me. We made an appointment with the salesperson to come and talk with us and make a pitch, we got the information from them and it was something that could be done rather quickly. My husband was tired of having to try to get from a wheelchair onto a shower chair into a tub, and I was tired of trying to step up into the shower because I have a bad knee. They met our needs and did it in a timely fashion and at a reasonable cost.

I've got a bad back and my wife has bad knees, and we could hardly use the bathroom that we had. We couldn't get in and out of our bathtub without kicking the hell out of the shower door rail. It was really a miserable situation. Independent Home called me on the telephone and said they'd sent somebody out to show me their products. Mike, the in-home sales representative showed us their products. They started out with a $16,000 amount and I'm not sure what it came down to. The guy told me there would never be any interest on the loan. Then I decided to go for it because I couldn't get any of my friends to help me do the work that I needed to do.

Our new shower and counter top is gorgeous. From the very beginning our experience with Independent Home, Inc has been simple, complete and flawless. From Danyell coming to our home to present their product, to ordering and scheduling our installation, down to the actual install, everything could not have gone smoother. Our installer, John, was an impeccably hard worker. His professionalism, diligence and communication throughout his work in our home was none other than awesome!! The installation crew did a great job. They worked efficiently and always treated me with respect. They did a great job cleaning up after themselves. They gave me a clear explanation of the features of the shower. I am more than pleased with their work and my new shower.

We needed a walk in shower for my mother in law who lives in queens the whole experience was fabulous and very professional. The owner Ari was always in contact with us and the installer was great the final product exceeded our expectation.

My husband and I needed a walk-in bath since we were older people and also, I’m crippled. The man from Independent Home called us and asked if he could come and talk to us. One time, somebody from another company came and talked to us but they wanted so much more so my husband told them no and that it cost more than the house. We got a walk-in shower from Independent and it’s nice. It's got a seat in it where we can sit down. I can stand, but I do have the seat if I need it and it's got a handheld thing we use for the feet. It also has a real shower overhead. The installers were polite and cleaned up really good. We enjoy the walk-in shower and I'd recommend Independent Home to anybody who wants it.

I needed a shower because I fell in the bath tub and I couldn’t get out. They had to come with 911 and get me out. So we had to get rid of the bathroom and then redo it. My wife saw Independent Home in the ad but it was Harry, the rep I dealt with, who made me decide on them. I was really pleased with him. He’s a very nice man and knows what he was talking about. He also didn’t play any games where other companies might have. I had no problem at all and during installation, you couldn’t have asked for a nicer man. He not only did the job properly but every night, before he went home, he cleaned the whole place.

I have been looking online for different types of bathrooms and someone called from Independent Home and set up an appointment. He came somewhere from Texas over to meet with us. We saw the product and it was very good material that they were going to use so we decided to go with them. The salesman was very nice. He knew about his product and suggested different things. We had to narrow everything down to what we wanted since there were many ways that it could have been done.

I called Independent Home and they were interested coming to my place as I live out in the country. The dealer came out, measured and talked to me about cost and any other problems I might have with our water system. He did a good job. I selected a walk-in tub for its size. It would fit my bathroom. The installation went well. It was fast and the installers cleaned up after themselves too. They were very polite as well. I’m very satisfied with my experience with Independent Home. I enjoy the tub and I feel safe when I get in the shower. Independent Home was the best for my circumstance.

My wife was laid out for about a month or two with bad back, and she was on the internet most of the time. She got Independent Home and the salesman who came by was nice. He was from Texas and he gave me a price to take the old one out and put the new one in and a new floor for $13,000. The installation team came over one afternoon, pulled the old tub out, and came back the next morning and installed the new set. They were here about a day and a half, and they were through. The quality of work done was good and I watched them as they went along. I got a walk-in shower with sliding glass doors with the seat on one end. We just got the hose one on the front so when you're sitting on a stool, you can turn the water on and off right there and you don't have to get up. I had a shower tub and you had to step over, and I'm a disabled veteran and I got a bad hip. It hurts me to raise my leg up real high. Now, it's easier to get in and out.

I had an ugly bathroom and my commode didn't work. My shower went in the walls out in my bedroom and something had to be done. My bathroom has been failing and it was beyond repair. So, I decided to get a walk-in shower from Independent Home. The people who put the shower in were very, very hardworking and very nice people. I would recommend to anybody. They came to me but my shower parts were sent to my house along with somebody else's shower parts. And the next day, the installer came and started working on my bathroom. And the two boys who worked with him were very hardworking. They knew what they were doing. I hope Independent hangs on to him so the next person can enjoy him.

I bought a shower from Independent Home and we're very happy with it. When the guy came to the house and talked to us, it seemed like a good thing to go with Independent. That guy was very good. The man who installed it was wonderful as well. I would recommend Independent Home.

We got a walk-in shower from Independent Home and had them take out an existing tub. We didn't want any glass and other companies want glass in so we ended up with Independent Home. Everything went nice when I dealt with the rep and they seemed to be upfront, except for the financing. The only thing I disliked about the whole outfit was signing me up for another credit card. I already had a credit card for that bank. It was a Sam's card but it was empty and could've used it instead of signing me up for 27% in the other credit card. They didn't tell me what they were doing and I just thought they were going to give us a loan through the company. I didn't know until this last couple of weeks ago. I just paid it off the first time I got the bill and saw the 27% on there. It was demeaning.

Independent Home was the only walk-in and specialty tub manufacturer advertised. Their representative was very nice and informative. I got a walk-in shower, and the guys who came to install were polite. I brought a chair and went into the other room and they closed the bathroom and didn’t disturb me. I've enjoyed the shower. It’s a very good quality shower.

I purchased a walk-in shower from Independent Home because my husband got ALS and he can't get a shower in the morning. The people from Independent Home were very sweet, nice and generous. They helped us out with financing, and I had no problems with them. But, I'm still waiting for them to install it. They said 4 weeks, but this is the 5th week so I'm hoping they'll call this week. We've been very anxious to get it put in and I hope they can do it in one day. I can't wait to see it so I don't have to bathe my husband anymore because he's having a hard time.
