The representative of Independent Home was excellent. We were well-pleased with his personality and mannerism. The installers were also excellent guys. However, we thought it would take one day to install. But they got here about half day because they came out of Charlotte and that's a two-hour-plus drive. So it took a little over a day. But other than that, we have no complaints. The guys was very nice and friendly. They cleaned up after themselves. The installer also told us, if we have any problems, to give him a call. I enjoy the walk-in shower. It's very nice. I really like my fold-down seat. They have it attached to the wall, but I can fold it down and up. I like that part instead of just a stationary seat that I couldn't move. I can't take this out, but it's just what I wanted.

I'm glad the rep wasn't a car salesman. He was very upfront with everything and he was able to home demonstrate the material that was gonna go in. And that was what showed up. The installers were quiet. They weren’t cussing and screaming and carrying on. I was able to expand the shower over the tub that we had. The walk-in shower is worth it but it's a little more to clean. I like that the knob stays hanging on the wall and the grab bars are still in place.

The Independent Home sales rep was very informative. The only thing was that he did not offer us any discount at all. I was a little bit concerned about that. So, we checked around other places and I called and they gave us a $500 discount on the outfit. When the representative comes in, he should be upfront about that. Our new walk-in shower is amazing. There were two fellas that came in to install. They came in around a little after 9:00 and they were done by 5:00. Everything was neat and they cleaned up. We used a dust rag to just pick up the little bit of dust there, but I did not have to use a sweeper. The workmanship was excellent. I was totally amazed. The product seems to be of good quality. We've had it since April. No water escapes at all when we're showering. The safety bars are in a good place. Everything's good.

I was contacted by Independent Home by a cold call. I am on the state & national do not call list and have not business association with this company which makes them contacting me illegal. However I needed to have my shower changed and agreed to let them give me a quote. They came and I agreed to have them do the work. The salesman told me it would be about 7 to10 days before they could start and was told that someone would be contacting me in a couple of days. I was contacted and told it could take 2 to 3 months because their supplier was running behind.

My experience with Independent Home was exceptional. Beginning with Ari and our initial consultation, the run-up to installation, and the installation days, every step was completed in a professional, straightforward, friendly manner. The actual installation was artfully done. Tony removed the existing bathtub/shower, masterfully fit the new walk-in shower into the space while navigating older plumbing and plaster, and finished the project so beautifully that we didn't even need to use a drop paint at the end. He was friendly, courteous, thoughtful, and left the work place pristine at the end of each day. My dad loves his new walk-in shower, and he has regained independence in this area of his life. You can't go wrong with this amazing company and their excellent product!

We needed a walk-in shower as Richard was having trouble stepping in and out of our shower/ tub due to back problems. When he was told he needed back surgery we talked to the Independent Home Rep and chose a walk in shower to be put next to our current tub. The installer, Shasta came and very professionally installed our new shower using the utmost care. We are totally pleased with the results! It looks beautiful and is just what we needed. This is a great company!

Jason and Josh did a great job on the shower. When they was done they cleaned everything up very nice. Everything went well. It looks really nice. I will recommend them to everyone that is looking to get a walk in shower.

I got leg problems and I was always afraid that I was gonna fall sometimes. So I put in a walk-in shower from Independent Home. It's really easy to get into my shower and it's nice. It has a seat where you can sit down there and everything else is fine. Their sales reps did a good job and the installation was excellent. They cleaned up after themselves. There was one fellow who came here on a Saturday at about 10 o'clock and he worked till about 3:00. Then, he went back and then they came back on Sunday morning. There were three people with him and they came about 10:00 and they were all done by 1:00.

The installers were very good at what they did. We are very happy with the work performed. They installed the shower, new toilet and also installed and painted a new door in the same day. Johnny and John Paul are very good at what they do. We would love to work with Independent Homes in the future. We would recommend to anyone.

We are pleased that this company, Independent Home called us and came to show us their products for their walk-in shower. Glad we decided to go with them. The installers were very nice and professional. Our shower now looks beautiful. We are satisfied and very glad to have this done.

We’re enjoying the shower so far. We are able to get in and out. We both are aging and I’ve had knee surgery on both legs. It was getting to the point that we needed to have an easier way to be able to bathe. Before, we had two full baths and with tubs. So, this one from Independent Home has made it more convenient for us, having to be able to take a good shower without having to take a bath in the tub. It has very nice quality too. The installers were very quick and on time. They cleaned up. When they left, everything was immaculately well done. Their installation looked professional and we were really pleased.

We've been thinking about redoing our bath for years, and my husband liked what the Independent Home salesperson had to say over the phone. Then Independent Home sent a salesman who was in the area to see us a day or so later. We were impressed with the quality of the material he showed us and his explanation of the process. Right before Christmas, three fellows came. They were very professional, and they took out everything from the toilet, the commode and the old bathtub. They also took up our tile and we had them put down a linoleum floor. They did things quietly and quickly. They cleaned things up.

Dean and Alex did a fantastic job installing my new shower, vanity top and toilet. They cleaned up every day and were careful when carrying everything in and out. Could not have been more pleasing. They were very quiet when working.

I got a phone call and they piqued my interest when they mentioned the walk-in shower because I had looked at some before briefly and I said, "Hey, I really might be interested in this call," which I did. Then they put me in contact with another of their agents and it went on from there. They sent a one-on-one type salesman out who explained everything to me extensively and I was impressed. I knew they were very expensive so I wasn't surprised by the sticker shock but I just went ahead and committed with the gentleman. They were very professional and the quality of the product was obvious.

The salesman and installer were personable and worked with us. The installer asked where we'd like the grab bar located etc. The shower looks upscale like stone or similar solid surface material. They worked with us to customize the size for no extra cost and order a matching vanity top, so we have an integrated look I thought you could only get by installing tile. My only complaint is that the shower curtain bar was installed a smidgen too low and so the shower curtain is a little too long.

They did a wonderful job with the walk-in shower. I’m so pleased. It’s beautiful and I love it. I like the section where I can take the hose and I connect it to the safety bar by the seat. I really enjoy that. The rep that I dealt with was good and honest. I had a wonderful experience through the whole thing. The installation took about a day and a half. There were times when the installers were so quiet, I didn’t even know they were here. They cleaned up wonderfully too.

Our Independent Home walk-in shower is wonderful. We love it. We had a tub shower and got rid of that, so that helped a lot. And one thing when you walk in it's very pleasing to the eye. We like that. It's also convenient. It's easy to get in and out of. And there's a corner seat. For someone who is a little bit handicapped it's really a handy thing.

I'm very large, and I really wished we could afford the walk-in tub. But they don't sell tubs big enough that would even fit me regardless of what the price would have been. But we took out a garden tub and put a shower in its place. And my favorite feature with my Independent Home is having the bench, so now I can get in and out of that shower better than I could our other shower.

Johnny and John ** did a very good job installing our vanities and shower. They were very organized and clean. Love the shower and vanities makes our bathroom look beautiful. Thanks to the whole Independent Home's team.Would recommend to anyone. Ps the shower is really nice and easy to get in and out of.

After the guy told me their price, I never thought it would cost that much. But I do like the material that they use. The installer was very conscientious. I liked him. He didn't get in a hurry. He was here two and a half days. They said he would do it one day, but that didn't bother me. I want it done right, and I felt he did it right. I got a handicap shower, and my wife likes it but she is still afraid to use it. She has medical problems, and she is afraid she's gonna fall because she gets very dizzy.

The rep tried to tell me everything possible about the shower and he answered all of my questions. The installers came out when I wanted them to, and they did a very good job. I enjoy the room I have in the shower.

We needed to have a shower stall. I told my husband, "We have a choice of two expenses here - one would be a broken hip, the other would be a shower. Which one's gonna be cheaper?" He finally got on board. The shower stall from Independent Home was put in in record time. The gentleman and his son who installed it were done by 3 o'clock and we expected them to be there from 9:00 until 6:00. They were personable and professional. They were funny which is a huge mark up in my spot.

Installers worked quickly and efficiently. They explained what was to be done to replace the bathtub and install the walk-in shower. They answered any questions I had. Worked safely and cleaned up at the end of the workday. Made sure I had a complete understanding of how everything was done and supported throughout the installation. Had all equipment and parts to complete the installation. Beautiful job. Have shown pictures of the work during the installation to friends and was asked for the company information for possible repair to their own home.

We had talked to other people about redoing the bathroom. And we had one group that was gonna start work within one or two months, and they never showed up even after like seven months went by. So, we were in the market for somebody else. We got some information from Independent Home. I’ve been meaning to call the person who first contacted with us to tell her what a great job they did. And she mentioned something about other kinds of projects that they do in bathrooms. One of the things I might be interested in is we’re elderly and it might be useful for us to get a new toilet setup, something a little bit higher than the lower standard things.

The two walk-in showers that Independent Home put in were fantastic. They did a great job and we’re very comfortable with it. The chair is very comfortable. Every person we were in contact with were fantastic. Everything was great, including the service we got and also the way we were treated.

I have a hard time putting a man in the tub and getting him out. I prayed that if it was for me to have a walk-in shower, let somebody call. And sure enough, a rep called. I made the appointment for the two girls from Independent Home to be here on a Friday night to talk to them. They were all nice. The installers took the tub out that I had in there, and then put a shower in. I couldn’t have asked for anybody any better. I was impressed with the way they talked. Independent Home is the best ever. We were real pleased with it. The price was high, but I’m proud of it.

We have been looking at walk-in showers for a while now and were impressed with Independent Home's salesperson and the product. She was very pleasant and wasn’t really pushy. It was just an enjoyable experience. There was one gentleman that did all the installation and he was very good. We were impressed with his work. He interacted with us and told us what he was doing. It took him a day and a half and the end product was exactly what we wanted and exactly the way it was presented to us through the salesperson. I like not having to duck when getting into the shower. We had sliding glass doors before on a rail, and my husband is tall, so that was the main reason we got the walk-in shower.

I got a regular Independent Home walk-in shower, the cheapest model. The dealer I purchased it from was fine and their reps explained to me all my options. The installation took two days and the installer was great. He cleaned up good. It was what I wanted, it was of great quality and I had a great experience. I would recommend Independent Home.

My experience with Independent Home has been fine. We had gotten a walk-in shower. The installers were fine and cleaned up very well. They also seemed nice enough and knew what they were doing. The installation was completed in about six hours. I like being able to take a shower, but it is hard to get into for me. Nevertheless, the overall quality is fine.
