This is the second time I have used HomeAdvisor to find qualified professionals to handle projects. Both times we had a very good experience.

We have used HomeAdvisor for a number of projects at home and did not find any issue. Their website is clear and helpful to screen contractors and we feel comfortable to keep using HomeAdvisor.

Clean out sewer line - Great service. Tim was honest about what was wrong and why I should do going forward.

I love HomeAdvisor. The best data comes from the user experience. HomeAdvisor can't be everywhere. The user feedback is invaluable. Keep it up HomeAdvisor!!!

Appliance service call - HomeAdvisor turned a situation that I expected to be fraught with frustration into something that was easy and seamless. I will definitely use this service again and would recommend it to friends and family as well.

The plumber I chose came with many positive reviews and his professionalism on site was just as stated in the reviews. His price was reasonable, his work was perfect and when asked, he took on additional work for a minimal fee. He also took the time to clean up when completed. As well, he gave me advice on how to prevent a slow/clogged drain in the future. Would request him again, in a heartbeat.

I actually accidentally came across HomeAdvisor, but I'm so glad I did! I was having trouble finding a lawn care vendor, and within a few minutes, HomeAdvisor provided me with two in my area. I contacted Mountain Creek Lawn Care, and within 24 hours, my yard is beautiful at a great price! Awesome Experience!

Tree Removal and Trimming - Great. Immediate quotes from 3 different companies. Companies responded after 9 am and gave the estimates based on my job request.

I haven't used HomeAdvisor a lot, but each time I did it was easy to find people to do my jobs. And I trust that the people they send me are vetted and qualified. They follow up to make sure that work was satisfactory. I will use them again.

Great resource for home projects. I had a project that needed two different services. I trusted Home advisor to help me find the companies to do the work, and glad I did.

We have hired handymen in the past from Craigslist, and have had horrible experiences. We will use HomeAdvisor from now on to hire help for fixing things around the house.

I had not previously used HomeAdvisor but thought I'd give them a try with the electrical project I had at my home. It provided the right amount of information about electricians in my area who were qualified to perform the work. Reviews were readily available. I was quite pleased with this site.

I have used HomeAdvisor for several home projects now and have had nothing but good results. I generally get 3 bids on projects and have the contractors explain how they will accomplish the job. I am very happy with the Pro's who have done my work, and for the advice on my future projects.

HomeAdvisor was a great aid in helping me select a professional landscape lighting installer! I received quotes from two recommended professionals in the landscape lighting business. (There were 3 listed). Although the price paid was not inexpensive, I believe that the business I chose, Silver Moon Lighting, did an exceptional and professional job! They are family owned and have a BBB rating of an A+.

I found Home Advisor very helpful in pre-screening the contractors we could choose from. I would use Home Advisor again on my next project.

HomeAdvisor has been fair. Good companies at great savings. I like the old servicemagic days where you would instantly get 3 companies call you and fight for your business. Now, you have to call them which doesn't really promote competition but all in all still a decent service

I am using HomeAdvisor for a couple of projects, one of which is now complete. Thanks to their help. I had several stumps ground and a tree removed through their recommendation, which turned out great. I am waiting to hear back from the pest control service, but look forward to their business if it is anything like the last recommendation.

I am a former Angie's List subscriber and user. Their website has become too difficult to use and does not offer the same advantages as HomeAdvisor. Within 5 minutes of entering my information, I had two companies calling me to set up estimates for my project.

Vent Cleaning - HomeAdvisor made this process very simple. Within a few minutes I was being called and had all the information needed to make an informed decision at my fingertips. Drastically cut the time and guesswork in selecting a vendor.

They promise services that they don't deliver then continue to lie, then just don't respond any further. Hold times are excessive and emails get form letter responses that are irrelevant.

Excellent service. On time. Reasonable price. Free service for pest problems other than termite. Highly recommended.

So I like the website, the ability to list pros, my projects and make my comments as I go. I also like that you can make an appointment and that if the appointment cannot be made they phone you up to tell you. In summary... I'm cancelling my Angie's List subscription right now. Thanks to HomeAdvisor, which is FREE! I find it hard to get highly rated pros who want to anything other than take my money on Angie's List.

I've been using HomeAdvisor for almost all my projects at home and at work. People they suggest are professional, licensed and knows actual work. I've found professional immediately and all the time on HomeAdvisor. I highly recommend using this website for any size of project. You will never go wrong and finding right people.

Edmonds Tree Service did a great job removing two large alders and at a very reasonable price (~1/2) of my first bid. While I did not make any specific use of HomeAdvisor services, other than the original posting, knowing that they check out companies and would support me if I had issues was reassuring.

When I was searching for a company, I stumbled on HomeAdvisor, but didn't know what it was all about. I picked a random contractor and called the number listed, but instead of that company picking up, it was HomeAdvisor. I was surprised, but after asking the HomeAdvisor representative questions about it, I was quite impressed with the service provided! I will certainly use HomeAdvisor again for any other projects that come up.

The trim around my townhouse was made of wood and they had started to rot. They replaced the rotten portions and capped everything with PVC material. Their cost was reasonable according to my comparison research and I am very pleased with the material and work done by Champion Home Improvements LLC.

Was very pleased with the work and professionalism of Jones and Sons Contractors. The price was very fair and Bill the owner described how the work would be done and what would be involved. He was prompt and courteous and his crew were very hardworking. I would gladly recommend Jones and Sons to friends and family and would choose this company to do other work needed on my home. Better than expected. I received several contractors who I interviewed prior to making my decision.

I used your service late last year. I paid $1400 for concrete surface repair based on excellent ratings on your website. The work completed was abysmal. In addition to two uneven topcoats, the surface applied by the contractor cracked within two weeks after the repair, and continues to crack. I phoned him on several occasions to view the work he had done, whereby he repeatedly stated he would. He never returned. I exchanged phone calls last year with the contractor. He stated that in the spring he would make good while also threatening me with legal action when I gave him a poor rating. I have digital copies of these phone calls.

Interior Painting - So glad we found a wonderful painter!

I have used HomeAdvisor for a variety of tasks. In each instance, they have provided me with contractors. I have found their contractors to be as advertised. There was only one out of many that did not meet expectations and did not have the required skill level for the job.

In my opinion the Mr. ** is honest, sincere, and professional. Most notable is that each step from first contact, to the estimate, to scheduling, and then repair servicing Mr. ** respects the customer's concerns. I appreciate that he listened to my questions, provide me with a variety of options, and is patient while I work through my decision making process. Being notified of possible scheduling delays or repair timeline issues before the work is executed that may result in adjusting my work hours and allowing me the opportunity to decide is essential to effective communications and an honest business practice. Thank you Jake for making me feel like I got more than I expected and someone I can count on if and when I need an honest and professional craftsman.

HomeAdvisor is an excellent source for finding contractors in your area.

HomeAdvisor gave me several options to choose from when I did the initial lookup for my gutter replacement project. I called a few of the companies to get some estimates and the company I choose was very affordable and did a great job of installing the product.

Finding a plumber. Very easy to use the site & extremely prompt response time. I didn't have to spend a lot of time doing my own research.

I received numerous phone calls from vendors right after I looked for recommended vendors in my area. I did not want to receive any phone calls. I wanted to read the reviews and call the vendors myself. Several of the calls I received were from vendors I hadn't chosen. I did not want my information to be given out. I would have preferred to read the reviews and decide which vendors I would like to call. It was very annoying to have vendors I did not want to contact get in touch with me. Otherwise, it is a great service to see actual customer reviews and read their recommendations.

Lawn grading and dirt removal. This was done on a very short notice. We selected a company that charged a little more, but they were available to do the work within 24 hours. The work was of high quality.

I used HomeAdvisor to find power washing in my area. I chose Streamline Power washing based on the reviews listed and I was very satisfied with the outcome of the project. I tried using HomeAdvisor for snow removal and did not get calls back for appointments. This was a much better experience!

We have used HomeAdvisor twice. Once to find a flooring contractor and once for a home security company. Both experiences have been wonderful. It's difficult when you are new to an area to find trusted contractors. HomeAdvisor takes a bit of the worry out of the process. I'm certain we will use them in the future as we continue to remodel and upgrade our home.

Knowledgeable and personable staff. They methodically replaced the system quickly and efficiently. Completed all the work that was discussed and agreed upon. Walked me through the entire system and ensured I was satisfied and had all my questions answered. I was encouraged to call with any problem or question. I received a follow up call to ensure no problems or questions had arisen. None had.

My experience was great. What I found to be very interesting is that all three plumbing service suppliers that came up on the site contacted me within 15 hours, one within about 15 minutes after I had completed my information on the HomeAdvisor site! I found the reviews to be very helpful as they made me feel very comfortable with my choice for the service supplier. I am also very pleased with the work done by the provider and would not hesitate to call on him again.

Both HomeAdvisor recommendations I have used so far have proven to be capable and trustworthy trades people. This beats the heck out of searching for unknown talent.

Search was easy to use. There was enough detail to easily choose a prospective contractor, or several.

For the most part the contractors get back with you in a timely manner but some don't. HomeAdvisor associates do call and check on status.

No complaints. Everything went exactly as expected.

I contacted Clean Air Concept, LLC to have outside vent covers replaced. I including dryer vent cleaning. My appointment was set the next day after my scheduling call. The tech was on time, courteous, and professional from start to finish. The cost was reasonable, and I was impressed with the quality of materials. I will use them again, and refer them to others.

Somehow HomeAdvisor got my personal number and calls me as much as 3 times per day and sends text message after I asked them to take me off the list at least 10 times. I believe this is harassment!! Yes I am a contractor but no I will never in my life work for this company! I get tons of calls to go fix what H.A. companies mess up! Homeowners BEWARE!!!

It's great to use a website to find a contractor. I did get another estimate from a friend's friend but I chose HomeAdvisor because I felt I had someone who had my back in case I had a problem.

Lewis and his techs were very thorough and professional. They assessed the problems and they repaired the damage in a timely manner. They were very prompt and they were very reasonable. Would recommend them and would use them again.

I contacted them at 8:30 am and it was fixed by 11 am. I had a clogged kitchen drain that was backing up into our dishwasher and onto the kitchen floor. I appreciated the professionalism and speed of service. The cost was reasonable and I was very pleased with the suggestions provided for future maintenance. Also there were no high pressure sales. We received an estimate if we were to use them in the future to replace deteriorating parts and also information if we were to replace these items on our own. Overall I would highly recommend them.

Searched for a company that could do roof repairs quickly. I was able to find a company that could be out in a matter of a couple days. The company was highly rated, offered honestly priced work, quality work, and very friendly service. He even took the time to review the life expectancy of our current roof and was not at all pushy. He did not try to sell me on more than what was needed.

I was pleased with the overall site when you are ready to hire someone, but if you just want to look at which contractors it would recommend this can't be done. A window pops telling you it has contractors that meet your requirements and gives you the option to get a quote, or there is a link that says "No Thanks". Even if you click on the "No Thanks" link the contractors still get your information and call you. This can be a nuisance. The contractors they do recommend seem to be legit.

Tree trimming job. Worked very well.

Cleaning Duct Search. Found 2 places who called immediately. Both would have been good choices and well rated.

Kevin and Jimmy are hardworking and followed up on all project agreements. They arrived on time the day they removed the patio and wasted little time in getting down to work. It took them almost 6 hours to remove the patio; their work was outstanding. Besides being good workers, they are friendly and respectful. I would certainly recommend them to friends and have no reservations.

When I select for the pros not to call they call anyways. All of them. Not good. My phone blew up. I'd rather contact them myself. Please fix!!

Had a problem with squirrels taking up residency under my new solar panels installed on roof. HomeAdvisor was able to set me up with a company called Pesky Critters who came and helped solve my problem by removing the nest as well as checking each day to see if the squirrels came back. He also recommended putting a barrier around bottom of the panels to avoid problem in the future. Finding the company that would handle this thru HomeAdvisor was very easy. Thank you HomeAdvisor!!!

I logged on to HomeAdvisor who put in touch in NHCRS - I informed that my range hood had come down and the wood had split and I couldn't get it back up. I made an appointment for the next day. On time (early even) Don showed up and was very pleasant & professional. Literally within 10 minutes Don was in my house range hood up and Don had left. I know the job I had done was very minor but the price couldn't be beat - I was happy that I wasn't "raked over the coals" for a "quick fix". Everyone I dealt with from my initial talk with Joshua to my dealing with Don and payment with Amy was a very pleasurable experience. I recommend HomeAdvisor and I am "over the moon" with NHCRS!!! - I will definitely be telling my friends and I will definitely use them again. Job well done.

I was able to have them all come in, assess the job and provide quotes. All of the quotes were fair and much more reasonable than my traditional "go to" home repair professional. I was given three recommendations for a plumber. The first plumber almost immediately called after I hit submit and they scheduled an appointment. The 2nd plumber recommended called later in the day. Both scheduled someone on site. The first plumber showed up and gave an estimate. The 2nd plumber never showed up or called to cancel. We never heard from the 3rd recommendation. Long story short, the 1st plumber did an amazing job from beginning to end. Too bad for the other 2 who were recommended.

HomeAdvisor sets you up with different options and gives you a starting point of where to look. I've used them twice in trying to find companies to help with work around my mother's house in a different state! Location didn't matter and the companies listed were more than considerate with my unique situation. I will be using them again for work around my own home.

I found this company on HomeAdvisor and hired them because of their good reviews and ratings. The two gentlemen that came were knowledgeable and courteous. They had to run cable through the attic to antenna on patio roof as my cable connection was connected to internet which I am not disconnecting. It was thought originally that I would need a splitter box because I had 4 TV's to hook up, but because reception is so good here in Sahuarita, I did not need one and this saved me money, which is always a good thing.
