My Haier counter-dept fridge no longer works. It is only 3 years old. The front display panel is out. I called in a repair technician, after 2 weeks of back and forth of troubleshooting various parts, something "internal" was wrong; to paraphrase them, "it is an expensive piece of junk". Haier will not do anything to stand behind its product even if it fails within a short amount of time. Another crappy product destined for a landfill. Do not buy this product.

I bought the Haier fridge about a month ago. I am not happy with the technology they are using; because it causes a lot of ice formation on the back wall and this is my second hier fridge. When I called them for the previous one they said that the warranty was gone and my fridge was faulty but it’s their technology that is faulty. The space is also very less. There is no depth and things get stuck to the ice on posterior wall. Won’t recommend it.

Worst product we bought in our life!!! The double-door refrigerator fallen down out of sudden. And the company doesn't even gives the claim and rejects the service. Those "so-called mechanics" are not even expertise in their work... It's like they have hired low-quality workers. The authorized service giver are declining to give the service... And above all this, they are charging for service charges of ₹500.

OK I purchased a refrigerator from this company a year and a half two years ago and the temperature of the refrigerator and freezer was not stable. As I do not have an extended warranty. I called Dte to come look at it. Dte sent out a GE representative and he said the compressor is not good. I left a negative review on the company’s website stating that it’s shameful to have a refrigerator not work after the short amount of time. I have a no expectations, except to explain the situation to help other customers, and prevent them from being in the same situation.
HAIER/GE responded with an email, asking me to send them the model number and serial number date of purchase my contact information and the contact information for the people who looked at the refrigerator. There was no one to call or talk to regarding this inquiry so I called GE and it took about an hour and a half and I found out why they sent me the email and why they want me to do all this work. It’s for nothing. They maybe will give me a discount on parts and that’s the best they can do. I didn’t ask for anything in the review.
When I went to write a second review on their company website, it was declined because I was talking about lack of proper customer support and I was not talking about how dysfunctional the equipment was or is. This explains the reviews because all the reviews I see say the product is good, but it’s not good. I’m very confused and if we’re not allowed to complain about the customer support or lack there of and how do we know what we’re dealing with. The email they sent me was a template. It had no meaning or value. Why did they send it except to try to look good.

DO NOT BUY! Tried to find General Electric to enter this post. They do not make these refrigerators. Purchased in September 2022. It is a French door with bottom freezer and ice and water in the door. The design is excellent, but this fridge makes so much annoying noise I’m ready to replace it, even if I’ll lose the matched set I’ve been wanting for years.
Contacted General Electric. I was advised that if I had a repairman come out, it would be the only call covered by warranty. Wanted to make sure there was no problem. They had no licensed repairman, but they did connect me with one. The serviceman checked it out and said everything was fine; they just tend to make noise. Have been sent multiple letters from GE for me to sign up for their “assurance program.” So I’m supposed to pay for insurance on a brand-new product! What does that tell you?

Purchased 2 door refrigerator in Nov 2021 by considering the product features but start facing issues from day 1.
(1) It start monitor noise from day 1 and no one was able to resolve issue for first 15 days and some how Factory technician visited and resolve the issue by end of month.
(2) Door start giving noise and reason shared greasing needs to be done regularly from 2nd month onwards and needs to connect with local service center for the same issue every month and issue resolved but its a continuous issue.
(3) Cooling issue: Refrigerator start giving cooling issue after 6month and issue not resolved yet permanently. Every month technician visited to clean the ice from freezer and add new sealing to allow the flow of air to bottom part but it's an ongoing issue and every time told to us that issue will not be repeated but no solution with technical team.
According to their technical & service team I was told that your product is working correctly according to them. Also their service team suggesting to buy an additional service package for 3years to continue use their service. The issue which I start facing from 1st year itself the same issue started in my old refrigerator after 11years. I will not suggest anyone to buy their product and there is no solution for their product issue.

This is the worst fridge I have ever purchased. Just one month after warranty period the fridge stopped functioning. On contacting service centre they insisted on tough formalities and asked to bring the appliance at their service centre at my own cost which costs about 10% of the toal cost of fridge that is about 3000. I advise not to buy this product.

I bought refrigerator on 19th of Feb, 2022 and after 3 days its gasket change its shape, I launched complaint but my issue isn't resolved and 'til yet i.e. 27.6.22 I launched 8 complaints. Now they said you have to send your refrigerator at our service center that is not easy task. First I have to take refrigerator from 2nd floor and then will pay the cost of carriage. It seems that they have no solution but they tough the process so that I stop to complaint them and continue to use what I have. I contacted from a worker to higher authorities but that wasn't fruitful. So, it is strongly recommended that avoid Haier products. Once you buy, it's yours and company have no concern.

Bought in 2017 two door fridge. Compressor and Colling coil failed in in one year. Replaced compressor Again paid Rs 3500 for Colling coil - 2021 again compressor leaked and Colling coil leaked Paid Rs 3000 to repair - Now 2022 the compressor failed - the service is outsourced and they are not answering tel. call and no reply from customer service for emails.

Once you buy this product they will not give any service ever so buy at your own risk, I brought a refrigeration and it stop working after 8 months and I trying to get service but these guys show up. I have get that done by local guys.

I have purchased a Haier 345L refrigerator on 22nd Feb'2016. In less than 6yrs of purchase the Fridge stopped working. I raised a complaint in the 2nd week of Jan 2021 and the cooling coil was changed after making me wait for almost 2 weeks after raising complaint and charging me around 4k. In less than 2 weeks time, the fridge again stopped working and I raised a complaint on 6th Feb 2022. This time, I was told the compressor was not working and after waiting for 2 weeks again, the compressor was replaced. Despite changing the compressor, the fridge still didnt work and I was told the condenser needs to be replaced.
After being charged 950Rs for the condenser, it was replaced. Despite replacing the Condenser, Compressor and Cooling coil, still the fridge is not working. When I reach out to the customer care, they always say "Aap nischinth rahiye (Please relax we will take care of the issue immediately)". However, the technicians come way after their promised time of 24-48hrs. When it comes to the customer, they stick firmly to their policy and rules (ex: I couldnt find my bill initially so was asked to pay for the service and Compressor). However, when it comes to providing service, they never stick to their policy (which is to at least come and visit within 24-48hrs). This is hypocritical and trust me, the customer care service is so pathetic. It will make you regret purchasing their products.
I never write reviews but was forced this time to give a review due to the amount of frustration they have caused. It is more than 5 weeks in totality that my fridge has not worked and is still not working. I decided to wait till Thursday and then dump this fridge in garbage if not attended to. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND HAIER PRODUCTS TO ANYONE WHO WANT TO HAVE PEACE OF MIND.

We had service out in the first 2 years due to temp warming up. Now 2.5 years and it beeps every 10 seconds. You can't stop it. Customer service is crap. So a fridge that works is now going to landfill all because I can't stop it beeping... DO NOT BUY HAIER APPLIANCE EVER.

Fridge not that old but breaking down. Still technically cooling but LED display not working and running loud. I have been waiting on parts since October. When it dies I will not be replacing it with this company.

Worst products as well as customer support… Never buy anything of Haier, low quality products and customer service as like they are owners. Zero support. 10 days my fridge is off, all my stuffs got spoiled but this company are still sending someone for repairs.. I won’t even give 1 star but there is no options

I am from Gujarat. I have purchased the refrigerator one year ago, and cooling problem arises. They have taken the refrigerator to service center and kept their around 8 days. But poor cooling continues, ice was not forming even after 2-3 days, after several complaints, they somehow managed to repair, but cooling was not that great compare to what was before, in fact new problem arises as voice like someone is snoring, coming out of the fridge continuously on interval of 4-5 seconds, I have Complaint about same and they sent their engineer 2 times, but the problem is not resolved. When I told for replacement, they said these can't be the basis for replacement. What type of other basis they required, when they can't solve the problem since 2 months. They are sending engineer again and again and no solution arrived.

An useless brand we are investing in. Got major breakdown within 1.5 years of purchase. When I complaint about this issue to Haier authorities they said that after 1yr of warranty period they can't guarantee their product. (so shame on them to commit like this). Think wise before purchasing, spend some more bucks and purchase good brand.

This is the best. Despite low voltage in hot summers it doesnt break. As long as kept at low settings it is made to last. So much easier than GE. And no need to defrost. Easy to remove and reinsert the shelves when cleaning. Just remember to have the door handle assembled by the delivering tech in position you need as it can be inserted either side.

Haier Bottom Mounted Refrigerator is very much attractive in this segment. We can use this Bmr in different modes. 10yrs compressor and fan motor warranty makes life easier. This is best for aged womens. Value for money.

I have bought 5 Haier refrigerators. Four suffered failed compressors in less than 4 years of service. The 5th is actually a glass front mini-fridge and miraculously it keeps running... 3.5 years so far. The 1st Haier I bought was a full sized fridge, the door seal went out and cost $100 + labor to fix, the second was a taller skinny model, an ideal fridge for the apt. Soon after I bought 2 of the HA10TG31's. The skinny one failed at maybe 2 years, then at 13 months one of the HA's failed just past warranty. The second HA lasted almost 2 years. All suffered compressor failures. I will never buy any Haier product again.

Refrigerator stopped working after 5 months from date of purchase. Absolute shit. It broke during the coronavirus pandemic, April 2020. My finances were already strained and appliances were hard to find as most stores in my city were closed. It made me so angry. I was already stressed enough as is with the pandemic and working only 1 day per week. NEVER buy a Haier appliance!!!

1 year old fridge freezer fan stopped working. Lost all frozen food. Haier sent repairman who cut himself and left blood throughout fridge. I refused to use it again. Haier replaced it. New fridge broke down after 2.25 years, just out of warranty. Main control board blew. They initially refused to repair. I argued that the Consumer Guarantees Act states the item should last well beyond the warranty period. Haier agreed to repair if I paid labour. I refused. Food rotted in fridge while they avoided responsibility. Then they suggested I pay for an upgraded fridge. I refused to pay a cent. Then they told me all they could do was repair. I refused.
A week later they offered a lower value smaller fridge, because "that's all they had in stock and they don't make the same model anymore". I refused it. Then they said they would not do anything else. I reminded them of the CG Act and their responsibilities. 3 weeks after the break down, with no fridge still, they agreed to replace with a better fridge. I am still waiting for this.

Worst product. Husband bought it without researching the brand. The first month it started leaking and handle broke. Technician came out three times and placed a tray in the back. The tray over flows and if not emptied regularly it becomes moldy. NEVER BUYING THIS BRAND AGAIN.

After delivery the service person's phone became not reachable. Hence contacted their Customer service number and was told that service person will call at the earliest and complete installation today. By 4.00pm service person called from another number and said he will come by 6.30pm and complete installation. His phone is engaged since 8.00pm and the customer service number goes off at 7.00pm. If a company cannot install on the same day, they must allow the buyer to install. These people will easily reject warranty claims that installation was done by authorised person. Internet is full of complaints regarding the product's working and I could not take the risk of installing myself. Totally unprofessional and Worst company to deal with.

I purchased this refrigerator from home depot it was delivered on December 18 2019. When I got it there was a dent on the door and the paint was peeling of the freezer door. I called the customer service number and reported the problem. They sent out another refrigerator on December 30 2019. This refrigerator do not work. The top part is hot. The doors are uneven and there is a dent on the side. This refrigerator looks like it was a return item. I called customer service again. Now I have a fridge I can't use and have to wait until January 7 2020.

We really liked the look of the quad door fridge. We read the reviews and found nothing terrible. Purchased from Lowes in September, but didn't install until about a week ago. Well people apparently that's not allowed. After unboxing taking all the wrap off, installing. We have found that a very important piece is missing from the left door. The flap that keeps the gap closed. We contacted Lowes. No help. We have contacted Haier Canada, no help from them as it's been longer than 48 hours. The part is 295.00 and 3 weeks delivery. We purchased extra warranty which they would fix if the part was on the fridge. Catch 22. My bottom line is that the company does not stand behind their products. No customer service. I am actually going to see if I can return this item and NEVER have anything to do with Haier products again.

Hi all, I have purchased Haier 256 ltr star frost free double door refrigerator costing 24000 last year. It's causing cooling, noise issue and I have raised complaint more than 10 times, engineer will come and he do nothing. When I asked for replacement/refund as it's within a year they are not ready to provide. One of the worst product and service from haier. Please don't even think of buying Haier product. We bought a Haier top-freezer refrigerator from Lowe's in 2017 for our "new" house. We love it! I keep a fridge thermometer in it and it always registers the perfect temperature. I have recommended this type and brand of refrigerator to clients and friends.

Fridge bought at Lowe's in Feb. 2016. Trouble with cooling by July 2019. NO service people in our area. Must come from at 100 miles. Find one who cannot purchase parts from Haier. Their method of supplying parts non-existent in Sonoma County CA. Haier says repairmen have to be registered to buy parts or go thru third party, which they do not apparently know. Is Haier really owns GE (which I read on some review)? Don't plan to ever buy GE again, either. Time required to get this fixed (Rube Goldberg Repairs) took too much of my 84 year old time and energy. DON'T BUY HAIER....

I bought refrigerator and washing machine on September 22, 2018 from Dehradun Haier store. The washing machine working good since it purchase but refrigerator causing problem after one month. I called more than 5 times for cooling issue, all my vegetables and fruits rotten up due to dew formation in the refrigerator. Moreover, ice layer also formed in the items placed in the cooling compartment. The Haier service engineer comes five times and unable to solve the problem. I just fed up with service engineer visits and finally after 11 months I filed complaint in consumer forum India government. I filed complaint on August 24, 2019 and let's see what will happen. I will not leave Haier so easy. I suggest Haier people's to replace my refrigerator and all who is having this problem.

DO NOT BUY... worst refrigerator. I bought this and after 2 months it started causing problems. They came for servicing but no results. The condition is still not good. The refrigerator is not cooling.. This is just a headache now.
