DON’T BUY THIS FRIDGE! I’ve had issues with this fridge since the day I bought it. I’ve had to call the company 7 times and had the company come and fix it twice because of screws falling out and all the noise it makes. It’s been such a headache. I give it NO STARS.

I am writing regards to the warranty and replacement of my fridge. I have started contact for my fridge in the month of March. No one contacted me. I sent another EMAIL in the month of April. No one contacted me again. In the month of JUNE I went back to Harvey Norman. Then they organise, someone will come and have a look. A person came and said it need to replace. We got email and got the options to choose fridge. We choose one option from those but it says us to pay 300$. The fridge which we are getting is not that price. 10 times I called for this. Every time I called they said, “We will call you back.” Manager is not on duty. After 2 weeks finally able to talk with someone. I paid the amount. And next day got a call she book the delivery for 9 Aug and morning time.
Waiting till 12pm. No one called. Again I called them to check. They said, “We will call you back.” 2.40 pm I again called. She said, “Will call you back.” 5.35 I again called back and they said the department is closed. I can’t check, can’t tell. I said I am just asking one question since morning when my fridge is coming. Then she said it’s not delivery booked. I was so upset. Waste my whole day. Took day off for this. And they are not at all contacting. Then they called for the first time on Monday morning and said can deliver the fridge on Thursday 11am. We were like that’s good finally this thing is going to sort out but not.
As today is Thursday 9am. She said calling from Fisher and Paykel when you want to book delivery. I took day off again today for this. And now they said when you want. Worst customer service of the company. They promise for call back but never. They promise delivery date and do not. How they keep changing. Lost my 2 days salary. Very unhappy

Consumer reports said Haier was a great refrigerator, but in 40 years it was the worst brand we ever owned. We purchased it from the "blue" home improvement warehouse. The freezer kept filling up with ice and the fridge would reach room temperature, probably because the vents from the freezer would block from ice. This was supposedly a de-icing freezer but we never saw that feature work properly.
Over the course of 4 months the "blue" home improvement warehouse forced us to swap Haier fridges 5 times before they finally issued a refund. We knew the appliance installers' names on a first name basis, where their kids went to school, who's birthday was that week. It was pathetic. We bought a Whirlpool fridge and 8 years later never regretted it. Haier was a major Consumer Reports FAIL and we never bought the subscription again.

We purchased a new Haier stove, model HCR2250AES in March 2019. In early May, the knob for the back right burner fell off. I called Haier as the stove was under warranty and a technician from Public Electric came to look at it. He said he would order the part, which would take 10 to 12 days. It is now July 25 and the stove is still not repaired, despite repeated phone calls to both Haier and Public Electric. Basically, there are two complaints here. The first is that the stove broke so soon after purchase. However, that sometimes will happen. The more serious complaint is that the repair has taken so long.

I purchased a Haier 14,000 BTU air-conditioner (HPF-14XCM-B) at the beginning of Summer 2017 for around $500. When we started it up in Summer 2018 it began to cut out occasionally and eventually died. I called Haier Canada and was told that it would be about a week before anyone would get back to me. I waited in the phone until I got a verbal assurance that they would honour the warranty even if it was after the year. I had a lot of problems getting through to them with exchanging voicemails and their phone system dropping my calls (!) but they eventually agreed to refund me, but, once my warranty was up, informed me they had run into problems because it was manufactured in the USA (but I bought it at Best Buy Canada) so I would have to contact Haier USA. By then the warranty was up. They would not even contact Haier USA and explain the situation for me.

I had purchased 2 in 1 convertible fridge model Haier FF Fridge HRB 2764PMG-E, WE HAD PURCHASED IT ON 07/03/2018. JUST AFTER THE USAGE OF ONE YR AND 3 MONTHS THE FRIDGE STOPPED WORKING. When the servicemen came in to check they said that the compressor gas leakage is the problem, the gas pipeline has got rusted. It's really waste of money to buy such a worthless product which is of very low quality. I didn't have an option of giving a minus rating, products from Haier are really worthless.

Purchased machine in August of 2018, since mid January of 2019 the machine has had multiple issues, including leaking from the bottom of the machine and the pump has had to be replaced. 7 weeks later and the machine is leaking again. I have spent countless hours with customer service to have this machine replaced. The customer service is most unhelpful, with broken promises daily, phone calls not returned and promised emails, actions etc. Never followed up. Worst appliance and worst customer service I have ever encountered. The repairs to this machine have far surpassed the original cost of the machine. Why not refund me or replace this machine and cut your losses? Trying to find a Canadian representative for Haier/GE appliances is beyond frustrating. NEVER EVER BUY ANY APPLIANCE FROM THIS COMPANY.

I purchased 4 GE CAFE appliances January 27, 2019. The fridge and stove were defective. The second fridge they sent was defective as well and was returned. I still have yet to have customer service call me back about my stove. It is now one month that I have a defective stove. I am not buying another GE fridge and currently do not have a fridge. It's terrible to know that your expensive appliances are defective and one has to fight every day for someone to follow up.
I had GE products for 29 years previously but obviously now the quality of products and service has gone downhill maybe since Haier has taken over??? Where is quality control? Are all the appliances refurbished hence the issues? Am I getting someone else's returned product? The whole experience has been so disappointing. Customers should expect working appliances and excellent customer service. I do not expect service done on brand new appliances that have not even been plugged in. That is unacceptable.

Observations: Ignition issues. All burners work properly without a flame height adjustment. Oven broiler ignites properly and functions well. Oven will not ignite using built-in igniter. Must remove oven bottom panel burner cover to light. Can hear the click of the igniter, do not see spark. To ignite must turn on gas to 300º setting. Igniter can be heard clicking. Can be ignited by holding lighter to jet area. Using the lighter the oven will light for about 5 seconds and then goes out. Must repeat. Usually takes at least 2 tries, if the lighter is not directed at the thermocouple nipple for approx. 30 seconds.
Exterior heat issues. When the oven is on, the top surface gets extremely hot. E.G. warm to touch front of cooktop. From midline to rear of stove hotter than is comfortable to touch. Back vent area extremely hot. Question safety of that amount of heat and the wall surface 2” away. The oven door vents “blow” a significant draught of hot air. Not comfortable to use top surface with that amount of heat blowing in my face. The significant breeze is aggravating. This amount of hot air will NOT be acceptable if outside temperature exceeded 50º. It heats the entire kitchen.
Oven temperature issues. I believe the oven temperature component is not functional! The manual that was included with the stove references the pre-heat light. There isn’t one! Setting the temperature to “min” results in internal temperatures 375 to 400º. Setting the temperature for 300º results in internal temperature of 375 to 400º. Setting the temperature to max (dial turns approximately same distance past the 450º setting as the increments of 50º in all other dial settings) results in internal temp of 450º. Setting the temperature to 350º results in internal temp of 425 to 450º. Using convection fan does not appear to impact the errant temperatures.
General observations. This stove is unusually high. 36 3/8” BEFORE you put the legs on. The timer makes no sound when it completes a timed event. The “dirty gray” burner setting and oven control markings on the front panel are almost impossible to see against the black background. The front control panel is perpendicular to the floor, so to read settings requires bending to get a readable angle. Magnets hold very well on everything but the stovetop and oven handle. This is advertised as a stainless-steel stove.

The oven is competitively priced at about $1200. Sadly it arrived with trays that don’t stay in the rungs. This means when you put anything in the trays they collapse down to the bottom of the oven, which is perilous. So we called and they sent new trays. They didn’t fit. So we called and they sent a guy 'round who said the inside of the oven is defective and bowed. So we called again. They said they don’t have any installers that can do the wiring so we have to arrange for an electrician to remove the wiring and then another visit to install the new wiring. They said they will offer $150 to pay the electrician. (No way you could get an electrician round for that in Boston.)
There is no option of a full refund. I wish I had bought the Bosch one. This company basically doesn’t really stand behind its products and it seems the products are prone to defects. Just duck this company (Haier brand) completely. Amazingly poor aftercare service and almost nonexistent complaints proceedings. Considering legal options.

I had Haier's 2.0 cubit foot Washer Dryer Combo Unit in white for six months before it broke. It took three months to get it fixed/replaced. The entire process was utterly bizarre, and a small nightmare of customer service insanity. Here's a breakdown of what went on: Number of times I took off from work, rearranged my schedule, and stayed home for an all-day service window appointment, all so that at the end of the day I still didn’t have a washer dryer combo unit that would wash (or dry) my clothes: SEVEN (7).
3- Haier reported that they had no one who would repair in my area. (I live in Buffalo, NY, half way between Chicago, Washington, DC, and NYC... not in North Dakota, or Alaska.) 4- Haier’s repair subcontractor is not allowed to stock any parts on the truck. They must all be special ordered, one at a time. Which takes weeks. Each time. For each part. Which are all back ordered, or simply out of stock. And the parts aren’t guaranteed to work, when installed. Ask me how I know.
5- The first replacement washer dryer combo unit arrived, broken, having obviously been dropped somewhere in transit. The sides were bulging. 6- Haier’s repair subcontrator tech begs me on two separate visits to get Haier to send me a replacement, because the number of times he has come out, only to not be able to fix my machine is messing up his ratio of visits to closed cases. 7- Haier’s robo call system is guaranteed, I discovered, to call me with dire threats should I not return a call, when I have already in fact returned that call, or dealt with that business – yet it happened every single time. 8- Haier’s customer service personnel routinely claim they have called or emailed, or will call or email, and they haven’t or don’t – and not because I’ve called instead. They just don’t. If I didn’t keep such meticulous notes of our interactions, their gaslighting might have worked.
Number of times I received an email from Haier saying that they had called me when they hadn’t, or promised to call me on a certain date and then they didn’t: TEN (10). Number of times I received a call from Haier citing an email they had sent, that I never received: TWO (2). Number of robo calls I received informing me that I MUST call Haier back immediately for something that I already called Haier about earlier in the day: TWENTY-THREE (23). Amount of laundry reimbursement received from Haier, over the course of three months without a laundry machine: ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).
Full disclosure: The maximum is usually $75, so I was told by Haier. When I pointed out that their average wait time for repair couldn’t possibly be on the order of months, I was granted an extra $25. Number of months I had clothes locked and getting disgusting in my laundry machine: THREE (3). Number of irreplaceable items of clothing that were locked in said machine for three months: TWO (2). Specifically, 1- The race t-shirt from my first half-marathon. 2- The hand-embroidered handkerchief one of my sisters brought me back from Italy.
Number of otherwise expensive or difficult to replace items of clothing that were locked in said machine for three months: THREE (3). Specifically, 1- A pair of work pants from Lane Bryant that had been tailored to fit me. 2- A clergy shirt I had made out of tech fabric. 3- An insulative base layer I made for my husband. Number of times Haier asked me if I had receipts for any of my clothing locked in the machine: FIVE (5).
Amount of clothes reimbursement received from Haier, after duly sending pictures of all the clothes, once they were out of the machine: ZERO DOLLARS ($0). Full disclosure: I’ve been told by Haier that the standard reimbursement is no more than $150. When I finally asked how much we would get, I was told, “the company has declined your request for reimbursement.” And you know, $150 would have replaced my one work outfit, and nothing else – a clergy shirt, and a tailored pair of pants – but it would have been something. A token gesture. A token gesture which would have kept me from shaming the corporation online. The token gesture I did get was an extended warranty, on top of the standard one-year manufacturer’s warranty for the newly delivered replacement. For how long, you ask? A year? Two years? Five years?...no. Six months extra.

Repairman makes temporary fix, so we need to call Haier within a few days and they send the repairman after many more days. This cycle has been going on since the first week when we bought this expensive junk.
Not only has the company not refunded us but they insist on us eating food from this fungus infested box of metal. Which raises concerns of responsible authorities who are either corrupt or not receiving the information about such criminal behavior. I bought an awesome GE refrigerator that arrived with a dented door. The GE repair man ordered the door from Haier Appliances Parts LLC which did not arrive the day he came to do the repair, so he ordered a second door. I then had 2 big boxes with the doors sitting in my living room. He came switched my door, then I had to contact Haier to find out how to return the new and old doors to them. I was told which company was going to do the pick up and when I asked, they had no confirmation number or a date when the pick up would happen. I was told to just wait for the call. Several days after no call, I called again. I was given the same information and no date as to when the doors would be picked up. I just had to wait for the company to contact me to schedule the pick up.
A week later, the doors are still sitting in my living room so I called again. Received the same information but this time was told that the doors would be picked up on a Wednesday and that I could leave them at the front door and they would be picked up. I come back home Wednesday evening to find the doors sitting at front of my door. Leave them there all night and half of Thursday. No pick up.
I called Haier again and I am first told that they have made three attempts to pick up the doors, which is not true as evidenced by the phone clerk telling me that the pick up company had the wrong phone number (provided by Haier) and for that reason have not been able to contact me to schedule the pick up. This time I was given a tracking number for the pick up and a phone number to call the pick up company... So as you can see, the "no hassle returns" was not the experience that I had. I dragged the boxes back inside. This return has been a big hassle and I will have to admire these two large boxes for another 3 days before they are picked up.

Repairman comes out without proper replacement parts! I had company coming and there were 10 of us with no washer for towels, etc. It has been two weeks and I just called a few minutes ago and get the same or prewritten nonsense from a foreign call center that basically knows nothing!!! I ask when my repair will be done and she called the repair center. I found out after 2 weeks they still haven't received the wiring harness that was in stock at Haier!!!
So now I am told to wait for their call when they get the part with no idea why the part was not shipped 2 weeks ago and if or when it will be shipped! Do not buy Haier and they are not made in America. They are Chinese crap that at one time was owned by a German company for a while but now is wholly Chinese. I have never had these problems with my Whirlpool or Kenmore. I know the stuff made today is crap, but this goes to a whole new level of low. I called the number given at www.haieramerica.com/support and spoke to Lina (agent id: **). She said Haier could not answer my question: "How do I attach the replacement thermal fuse to my dryer?" She said I'd have to get a local technician to answer it, presumably for a fee. First, a part failed after three years that should have lasted the life of the appliance. And secondly, Haier couldn't answer a question that is likely common if this part has failed as many times as I think, assuming others have had the same experience. So the part failed and they don't stand behind the replacement part. Conclusion: no more Haier products for me.

I bought a Haier refrigerator for the breakroom at my shop on May 1, 2016. On November 25, 2016 the refrigerator stopped cooling. I submitted a repair request and was then told I'm out of luck because the item is being used in a business. That refrigerator gets used much, much less than if it were at my home. We are a small, 4 person business. We can't afford to replace a $350 refrigerator every 7 months. I contacted a local repair shop who quoted me $150-200 to fix the darn thing. And he recommended we trash the Haier and buy a reliable brand, which in his experience, Haier is not. I'm very upset at myself. I read all the bad reviews before buying the Haier but thought I would be the lucky one and not get a piece of junk.

I bought a refrigerator HA10TG31SW on Feb. 29 of 2016 that went out in June 2016. The manufacturer is Haier. I called service at 1-888-775-6937. I explain to them that the refrigerator went out, was not cooling at all. They said because it was sitting on the front porch, even though the porch was covered, the refrigerator was exposed to cold and hot weather and that the warranty was void. The first week of March was when the refrigerator was first used. Temperature average (Highs/Lows): March 64/38, Apr 73/47, May 79/57, June 87/65 taken from US Climate Data. In other words we had a mild temperature for the time the refrigerator was working. In my opinion this should in no way cause this refrigerator to go out. This was just a way to get out of repairing the refrigerator is under warranty.

Purchased a $700 wine cooler Haier refrigerator and the nightmare began. The door did not seal properly and was not level on the top. After removing the door I discovered that the factory drilled holes for the top mounting hardware (top right of door) were not drilled correctly. They were drilled off line and incorrectly during the manufacturing process and not in the right position. This caused the hardware to mount improperly and the door to sit out of level.
I switched the door to the left side mounting holes and fortunately the holes on the top left of the unit were drilled in the right position during the manufacturing process. Also, with absolutely no assistance and support from customer service. I called customer service 3 times and not one representative that answered the phone could understand or assist with the problem.
Furthermore I was promised a callback in response to emails with pictures that I sent and not one company representative bothered to respond. Your call center named Haier America is far from anything that personifies America and quality and values. 3 call center reps that I spoke with are being paid to answer phones and provide support and they all failed miserably. So you have lost a customer forever and trust me I will never, ever purchase another Haier product.
One would think that Haier would want to build their business by expanding their customer base. I finally reached executive relations and they deemed the wine cooler to be defective and requested that I haul this refrigerator back to Lowe's Home centers to try and get a replacement. This is unacceptable. I no longer own a pickup truck and I have no means to haul this heavy cooler back to the store. They will not budge on their nonsolution so I am screwed. Never Again!!!

After we had emptied it the same light came and it was full again.
Called customer service 3 times. The first time, they had asked me to get a hose and connected which I did. The hose would not drink anything. The second time they told me to get a hose for the bottom the drain which no one around me makes a hose that fits such a small drain. I started to get mad and then they told me the only way they would allow me to return it is if I was in the year mark of the warranty - wish I know I was. However, I happen to have misplaced the receipt and they told me they could not do anything to help. Wouldn't they be able to just look up the model and number? I will never be buying another product from them again. I spent $300 on this portable AC that lasted me 3 months. I highly recommend going someplace else with your money. NEVER BUY A HAIER PRODUCT! We purchased a Haier chest freezer from Sam's Club. Without going into the delivery nightmares and false claims made by Sam's Club, the freezer was delivered with a buckled lid. Haier refused to accept responsibility for replacing the lid and tried to blame it on the delivery. Sam's Club agreed to send a new one, but the delivery and return were a worse nightmare than before. We had to hire a handyman at our own expense to help us. The replacement was delivered with the package undamaged. When opened, we found that it had been packaged at the factory with a cracked end cap on the lid. The lid was also installed crooked.
We can't go through another nightmare return and this damage was clearly done at the factory. Even though the warranty states that it is warranted for defects in materials, Haier refused to fix it. We spoke to a supervisor and the same thing. I don't know what to do. We've paid full price for a poorly constructed, damaged product and Haier refuses to accept responsibility. If you buy a Haier product, you'd better pray that Haier Quality Control was paying attention that day because Haier is dishonest and irresponsible and takes no responsibility for their product. Still trying to decide what to do. We'll probably just return it to Sam's Club and buy a GE from Home Depot. Learn from my mistake. Stay away from these crooks.

In November 2013 I purchased a brand new a Haier washer and dryer but I did not purchase the insurance protection and that was my second mistake. Purchasing Haier was the first. My mother lives in a senior citizen complex and the amount of laundry she has is about one good load a week. So to keep her from having to go to the laundromat since she in a wheelchair, we got this set for her to make her life less stressful.
Four months later the dryer starts spinning a load and did not stop without unplugging. Called for service and a repair man came said it needed a replacement for a part that I cannot remember what the part was. But he said it shouldn't be more than a week or so and he will return and put the part in all will be done. Well he never came back, said the part never came in. I was told this after four calls trying to find out what happened with the part coming in and where is the repairman.
Nothing was ever done because by this time it was no longer under the six months of warranty. On my own with getting this fixed which after contacting four different appliance repair companies, no one wants to touch anything made by Haier. So you say we still have a washing machine, wish that was true. In April of 2014 the washing machine would stop in the middle of spinning a load in the rinse cycle. Sometimes we can let the washer start over, which it will do on its own or we can stop it, wait awhile, push the knob and hope it continues which it sometimes does and other times it will not complete washing and I have to take the dripping wet clothes out, squeeze them out the best I can and go to the laundromat to either finish washing or try to dry the clothes, depending on how wet they are.
I am out of money spent on purchasing appliances intended to make life easier for my mother instead I have more work on me now because she is not able to do all that must be done to do a load of clothes. My mother is stuck with a washer and dryer that is not 2 years old that do not work nor can we find a service company that will try to fix either appliance became of the bad reputation of the quality of Haier products. Not sure how writing this will help my mother or me in our situation but maybe it will help someone to stop and think before purchasing any Haier products. Thank you.

When the CSR finally got the info together, I was told that I would be responsible for taking it in for service since she felt that the warranty was over. It makes me wonder as to quality control on the Haier products. Also, it makes me wonder how good their followup and computer info really is. The CSR flatly told me that they had no record of replacing the TV set in question. I didn't make the second set materialize. It had to come from their supply depot somewhere.
I was blown off by the CSR as being totally responsible for the repair to what is, undoubtedly, a second faulty TV. As a consequence, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEIR PRODUCTS TO ANYONE IF THIS IS AN EXAMPLE OF THEIR QUALITY CONTROL AND CUSTOMER SUPPORT! I will be letting anyone I see who might be interested in Haier products as to the treatment I received regarding any of their products. If their other products are like these TVs, THEN I THINK THAT THEY ARE A BUNCH OF POORLY CONSTRUCTED GARBAGE and THEIR SERVICE SUCKS!!!! A Less than satisfied customer!

I bought this product a year ago. Right at the year mark, I started having problems with it. I called a repair person that Haier suggested in the area I live and he described exactly what was wrong with my washer without even coming to see it. He said it was not unusual for these washers to have that problem. What is happening is that no matter how leveled the load is, it is sensing it as unleveled. Do not buy this product. Now I have to pay, on top of the $300 plus that I paid for the washer, $80 to get it repaired!

I searched all over for the best fridge for my home bar area. I wanted one that could chill white wine as well as beer/soda at the same time. I came across this: Haier Combo Wine and Beverage Center model Model #: HBCW100ABB at Sams Club. It looked perfect. Nice glass door, interior lighting, dual zone. It got good ratings on the Sams Club Website 3.5 out of 5 stars. I figured what could go wrong? It was DOA- came out of the box with the following problems:
It did not cool either zone- at all- kind of defeats the purpose yes? The LCD temp display in each zone acted like it was from another planet - thinking it was 27 degrees at room temp. When I go to lower it, I can lower it all the way to 4 degrees F!? The range supported is not displayed at all on the little screens. Essentially this is just Chinese junk.
The fun comes when I call the OEM (Big bold letters NOT TO RETURN). I call them after following all instructions in the book - do not turn on for at least 1 day, wait for it to cool down, so forth. They say they will send someone and to wait a few days. I called back today and was told - yeah sorry we are not sending anyone because no one local to you (DC area - 30miles outside of downtown) can work on it.
They were going to process a refund that I MIGHT see in 30 days. That was it - no explanation and no results. What a joke. I processed a return on Samsclub.com and will return it tonight. I would buy nothing at all from this company. They are moving crap product fast and hoping to get around warranty and refund to make money. Steer clear!

Unfortunately I did not purchase an in-store protection plan from Lowes. I have never purchased them before, since I have never had to use one. Anyway, after a pretty good hunting season, I needed a freezer in a hurry. For one, I had a pretty good 8 pt buck caped out and needed a second freezer to keep the future mount in and 2 more whitetail deer I had harvested, one being my fiance's first doe ever taken. 1 day lacking two months to the day after the freezer purchase, I went to get some venison out and when I opened the freezer most everything was thawed out and spoiled. I still have not heard back from the taxidermist. I don't know if the caped out buck is salvageable or not, it was in the bottom of the chest, so it probably was a little cooler than a lot of the other freezer paper wrapped backstrap, ham steaks, and ground meat in Ziplock Freeezer bags, that had blood soaked through and accumulated in the bottom of the unit.
Furiously I took it upon myself to drop the unit back off by the front door of the local Lowes store with the lid open so customers could see what this product was all about. In the meantime they disposed of it. It is the same old story, lousy products, as a consumer you have no recourse. You have to end up paying for a product you don't even have, or would not have again. Corporate America....outsourced overseas junk, and hard working folks, like me end up scr**** in the end. I purchased this TV on December 26, 2012 as part of Boxing Day sales in Whitby, Ontario. Ten months later, I have noticed that the colors were not right on the TV but after a few minutes it disappeared and everything was ok. This started happening more and more so I contacted their customer service in November 2013 and they asked me to bring it to a local repair shop. After 2 weeks, the repair shop told me that they cannot fix my TV unit and that Haier would be in contact with me to replace the unit.
Another week passed by and I haven't heard anything. I then called the repair shop to inquire. The lady I spoke to said she would contact someone who could give her some answers. We are now February 3rd, 2014 and I still don't have my TV after MANY calls to the repair shop and to Haier. No one seems to be taking ownership over this issue. I'm a very patient person but I am angry now. I will NEVER purchase ANY Haier product and will tell my friends and family about the poor quality of their products and their non-existent customer service.

I bought this product on 7/1/13 in Rockford, IL. I did not start using this item until 8/6/13. When I arrived at my new house in Florida someone stole the central ac before I got here and by 8/14/2013 the product quit blowing cold air. I called Haier on 8/18/2013 which call center is in the Philippines so understanding them is difficult. They gave me a ticket number and told me a repair shop would be calling me to fix this item within 24-48 hours, gave me the phone number. The next day Haier called me, told me they would have the repair shop call me (Monday). Thursday I called the repair shop after no call. They said they do not even work on AC units.
I called Haier back. They referred me to another company, gave me a new ticket order and said another 24-48 hours to schedule an appt. I called on that Friday the 23rd. They said it would be the 5th of September before they could get out for the appt. I said "can you fix it sooner if I bring it in." They said YES! September 4th this company had an automated system call to remind me of my appointment. I called the next day and asked if my AC unit was completed. She said "no it is sitting on the testing table." I said "ok great. Can you find out when this unit will be ready or what is going on?" She said she will have the repair guy call me. No call back.
I called the next day. Same story. Oh I will make sure no matter what he calls you. Monday 9th I called and told them I would like to speak to the manager or owner. He got on the phone and stated the seal was broken and the air compressor. It will probably be replaced because it is too much. He already turned the report in to Haier. So I hang up with this man after lecturing him about his follow through techniques. I instantly call Haier. They say it is in the review dept with the engineers in the verification department. I call back the next day and the day after that and so on. I said "every time I call you tell me that you are going to call me back and I get nothing." One guy said I will call you back and he left me a voicemail at 12pm when I asked him if he could call me after 6 pm Eastern Time. He knew nothing because he could not get a hold of the engineers in the verification department.
On September 17th I emailed the company. No response back. On Wednesday the 18th I called and refused to be put off again which they did try and demanded to speak with someone in the engineer verification department. They finally put through and the guy asked me to email him my receipt which I did with the box that had my serial number attached to it for more proof. This man told me he was locating a new unit and would have it sent out immediately and I should have it no later than Saturday Sept. 21 since it was going to be shipped from Georgia to Florida.
Today is Sunday September 22nd no AC unit and no email back from the company. This company is horrible. If they would have sent me a refund I would not have bought another unit from them. I would have went with LG as it is 100 degrees in Florida and we have one small AC unit that has been running the whole month and has done a great job. Also this AC unit is very loud.

I bought the set of Haier Washer and Dry from HH Gregg November 15, 2012. All was fine until one Sunday the washer no longer would drain or spin. I contact Haier and they issued a call ticket number for my local service company ARC Service in Richmond VA. I began reaching out to them and it took 2 business days before anyone would answer the business phone. No voice mail and the email address they gave me was bouncing back. Once I set up an appt. they sent out a service tech. He looked the machine, said it was the compositor and they would order this part. Four days later without any word from the service company I finally was able to get them on the line.
A new service tech came out the next day, mind you this has been well over a week now, and he installed new compositor and this did nothing to the machine. Service tech I heard on the phone with his boss going back and forth. They took the tub out of the washer, found nothing jamming the motor. Now they believe it is a motor or control panel. They can only order 1 part a time and was told it would take 2-3 weeks to get the new motor. I am getting absolutely no help from Haier. When I call I am told nothing they can do. Then I am once again for the last 2 days trying to get a hold of my local service company ARC Service and no answer.
This is beyond unacceptable. This morning I called HH Gregg to log a complaint and will be waiting for them to contact me through their vendor control department. I would recommend no one purchase a Haier Appliance or use the Richmond VA based service company ARC Service.

We bought a Haier TV in January of 2012. In November 2012, the TV had a green line that formed on the left side of the TV from top to bottom. Haier sent a repairman to our home and he informed us that the TV couldn't be fixed - that it needed to be replaced. Haier insisted that I return the TV BEFORE they would send a replacement. I sent it back on January 8, 2013 via FedEx. I NEVER GOT ONE BACK FROM HAIER! After months of calling Haier, I got on the internet the end of February to find out if I could sue Haier in small claims. I found out that I could!
Just to make sure, I called a consumer attorney for a quick consultation. Not only did he tell me that I COULD sue Haier but that he could represent me and it would cost me NOTHING. It took over 4 months but TODAY, I got my check for the original purchase price of the TV and a little extra. Haier also had to pay my attorney over $2,100 for his services, not including what it cost Haier to have their OWN attorney representing them to settle the lawsuit. DON'T LET HAIER MESS WITH YOU. If they are not honoring their warranty or their products, then SUE THEM!

Same for the spin cycle. Customer service SUCKS. They just gave us the runaround and gave us different numbers to call only to be put on hold. FINALLY, I was given a local number to call and he told me it'll take five days to get in touch with me, and if I don't hear from them within the five days, to start all over again a call back. One of the numbers we called told us that Haier products were on the BOTTOM of the list, meaning WORST products. Why pay for a five-year warranty for appliances that don't work in the beginning? Haier products SUCK. We were better off keeping the old washer that you had to spin the clothes twice. :(

Two weeks later, they call to tell us there is no authorized shop in our area. They will ship us a new machine if we send them the serial number tag, which we will have to install at our own expense. Three weeks later, our new dishwasher arrives, dented and damaged. After we sent them pictures of the damaged replacement, we waited another week with no response from Haier. Had this dishwasher broken a few weeks later, our extended warranty would have applied, and the store we bought it from would have repaired it free of charge. Haier would not allow us to apply the extended warranty early, even though the store offered to honor it. The extended warranty is now void as we sent the serial number tag to Haier.

I never received a phone call, email, or letter. No one contacted me for more than a month. After a phone call today (I called), 05/21/2013, I was told they didn't contact me because they had it in a file - that I didn't want that insurance (I paid for an extra 5 year warranty!). The truth is that I told them I don't want the machine! That was their excuse for not contacting me for over a month?! The truth is that I told them I don't want the machine set! I wanted the full refund.
Today is May 21, 2013. The machine is still useless, and I still don't have a working machine, or the full refund, and no refund for my torn clothes. The only thing I heard from them is, "Sorry that happened." Sorry does not pay for my damaged laundry or public laundromats that I am forced to use now. I complained many times, and I called but nothing was solved. The only thing that they offered was a new same type of machine that I don't want! I purchased a washer and dryer in March of 2011 from Conn's Appliance. I got them home and the dryer would work. The machine light indicated on but would not spin, the washer worked fine. So I took the dryer back to Conn’s and they replaced it. The second dryer did the same, made a loud noise and did nothing else. I was told that maybe the electric source in the home was not enough to power the dryer, so I rewired. Still, it did not work. I called Haier to report the problem. After changing the first appointment, they finally came out and their repairman said that I needed a new electric plug. The manufacturer’s warranty was up, so I was stuck with a brand new dryer that never worked once.
Here it is now 2013 and the washer is broken - will not rinse or spin. Their products are trash and I do not recommend anyone to buy them. I am very angry because I did not get much use out of them, because I had them stored away for a whole year awaiting the purchase of my home. So the washer has only been in use for five months. The bottom line is that they were purchased in 2011, in which the dryer never worked once, the washer worked a few months in 2012 and both are broken in 2013. No need to call Haier for help because that would be a waste of valuable time. They sell trash and I don't understand any company is willing to sell their products. I will never purchase their products of any kind again and will not recommend them to my worst enemy.

I didn't hear from him, so I called a week later. He said he was out of the office but would call me with the info. No call and he never answered his phone or had a machine. So, I called Haier. I never even used the extra large load. I'm stymied, after doing laundry for 2 people for 5 years, leaving my old washer in the home I sold. Why such a sudden breakdown in a new washer? I called ABC, no info on the techs to fix. I called Haier, no service care in Indiana. Burnt up the phone trying to find a tech to fix. $214 for Sears to fix and warranty parts and labor for 1 year. What other choice do I have?! 1/2 the price of the new washer on sale. Trust me, it was installed right and I know how to wash clothes. I didn't ask them right when I bought it. But the salesman surely talked it up before I paid for it. Big mistake.
People out there buying a TV or any other home appliance, ask for a year in advance. Parts only might be what's covered and that could be a lot of cash. Plus, finding a tech to service it might be tough. I'll never buy from ABC Warehouse again. Live and learn my friends.

I kept the blasted machine even though it barely works and the handle snapped off (cheap plastic door-locking mechanism and so snapped off years ago; have to use butter knife or flat-blade screwdriver to open door) I kept it only to wash small loads of socks and underwear, since that's all the machine can handle. Everything else (shirts, pants, jeans, sweaters, t-shirts), I have to cart to the laundromat, just like before I paid $800 for this piece of garbage. It still overflows and floods (and causes damage to my apartment floors and to the apartments below mine). Prior to its death again a few days ago, I had to check it every five minutes when using it to wash 5 or 6 pairs of socks and 5 or 6 boxer shorts to make sure it didn't overflow. Only thing I can say is buyer beware of Haier!

After being a long time buyer of their products, you would think they would act accordingly.

On April 16,2011, I purchased a Haier portable washing machine and dryer. The dryer is a model HLP140E, with the serial number of CF05R0E0G00CPB2U0188. I purchased it from Home Depot online on my credit card, and paid $299.00 for it. Around the middle of October, the dryer stopped working. It wouldn't heat up, or run for more than 15 minutes. I called Haier for repairs under the warranty. They told me they would have to outsource it, since they didn't have technicians in this area, and that someone would call me back. No one ever did. I called them again, and told me they had to call me back again. This time, they did with the name of a company to look at the dryer. I cannot locate the card for the other company. The repairman came about a week later, and said that the front panel and heating unit needed to be replaced.
The man never touched the machine. I asked how he knew that, and he said they were the only things in the machine. I was told they would be delivered to me, and when I received them, to call him and he would come put them in. By then, I had not had my dryer for about 3 weeks. I waited 2 more weeks for these parts to be delivered to my house, which never came. I called the repair company back, and they told me that the parts were on back order, and they didn't know when they would come in. I got off the phone with them, and called Haier. They told me that the parts would be in, by the end of November, and would ship out right away. So again, I waited. Around December 16th, I called Haier back. I was told they did not have the parts, and could not get them, and that a ticket had been put in to replace my unit on December 14th, and that it would take 72 hours from the time the ticket was put in, to get approval from corporate, and they would call me.
On December 20th I still hadn't heard anything so I called them back. I was told they still didn't have an answer and they would find out and call me back. They never did. I called again on December 22nd. I was then told that a new ticket for replacement had been put in on December 20th, and I had to wait again, but he would try to push it through and call me back. Again, I never heard from them. Which brings me to today. I called them again, since I didn't hear from them, and was told that my replacement was denied, since they have the parts. After almost 3 months, I no longer trust them. They have lied through this whole thing, and I do not believe they have any intention of repairing or replacing my defective unit. I have my cell phone records to prove the multitude of times that I have called them, trying to fix this situation. I have spent more at the laundromat in the last 3 months, than I paid for the dryer, since it's cold and I can't hang my clothes outside.

I bought and had installed a 2.5-ton Haier air conditioner. The compressor had a 10-year warranty (or so Haier said). After one year, the compressor crapped out. It took me two days just to get through to customer service but that did no good, and I got the run around for a week. It was 100 degrees, so I had to call a service company to fix the unit and of course, pay for it myself. After about a month, I got a hold of some ** in New Jersey who informed me that as I went out of "network," I voided the warranty!
I basically paid for two air conditioners with installation because this company refused to stand by their obligation. If I'm in a store and I see Haier products for sale, I'll go out of my way to find a manager and let him know I won't be back in his store as long as he sells products made buy those crooks! I know they probably don't give a ** either but I feel a little better.

I thought, for sure, they would send me to a repair shop or exchange it as he said. But it was closed down and the liquidation people said it's not their problem. I'm so stuck with my good faith, money and get this?
I have other large appliances that I am using. So far, I'm very satisfied. What can you do to help me out? I've never been treated like this before; ignoring the consumer who paid for it in good faith. Please contact me, hope to hear from you. Thanks!

The compressor went on, only after two and a half years. I have had refrigerators for ten plus years with no problems. Now, it makes me wonder if this product was worth even buying when they won't even stand behind their product. I am stuck with a broken beer dispenser that no one will repair. I guess I'm out $500. I received a wine cellar for Christmas 2008. It quit working after approximately 16 months. According to the written warranty, only parts are covered for the second year of the warranty. When I contacted Haier customer service (which is an oxymoron by the way), the woman I spoke with said it would cost more for Haier in parts than the unit is worth, so too bad I should go purchase a new one.
I advise anyone looking to purchase any item with the Haier name to research carefully. The low cost of the item will soon be forgotten when you have problems later. Based on the activity I have seen on various websites, I believe there are grounds for a class action suit against Haier. They are not honoring warranties, nor are they supplying durable equipment.

On 6/2/10, we purchased a portable air conditioner unit from target. The first time I used it, water drained all over my carpet and newly refinished hardwood floors. I turned it off and pulled out my manual, no luck with that so I called. Well it turns out that the drain plug was missing. I requested they send me out the missing plug and was told they could not do that until I registered my unit via mail. Registration complete. I called to see if it shipped and they said no, could take up to 9 days.
Finally a package arrived and inside was a small plastic clamp full of small holes, could not be the missing plug so I called back. I was given the 2nd degree. I demanded a new plug ship and guess what I received the same wrong part, again I called and was told to go buy my own plug or go to a fish store and buy a plastic tube and drain the unit through my window. Shocked, why did I have to go out and buy anything? Why couldn't they just send me a new plug? Finally, after at least 10 calls, several which ended up by me being put on hold and after 20 minutes no one ever coming back, I called and asked if the 3rd plug was shipped only to be told no!
Why I asked since 10 days had passed since my last call and the girl told me it was out of stock? I asked when it would be in stock and she said, "I don't know it could be weeks." I then suggested they send out a repair man and she said "Why would we do that? Your unit is not broken." Then she put me on hold and never came back. We decided to try and return the unit to the store we purchased it from since we are sure the missing plug will never arrive. We no longer had the box but Target took it back, no questions asked. Will I ever purchase another product manufactured by haier america? No! Will I ever recommend them to anyone? No!

I used it the first season, worked great. The second season came and it broke after the second month in September. I called customer service. They had me call A&P Factory Service. The guy was great. However, I was charged $98.58 for the guy to come out. To my dismay, when I got it out of the NEW box, the unit looked like it was used for at least one year. There were dings and scratches on it. The filter was dirty with fingerprints all over it and marks on the top like someone had set a hot coffee cup on the top. I can't find a phone number for them. I have sent them e-mails but they have been ignored. Apparently, I just threw $300 down the toilet. It said right on the box not to return it to the store. My husband bought me a Haier Electronic Coffee Maker as a gift from Macy's for Christmas 2007. After about 4 months, I went to start a fresh pot of coffee one morning and the carafe cracked all the way across the bottom. The manual that accompanied the product stated that prior to contacting customer service I would need my model number, the name of store it was purchased, and the date it was purchased.
So, armed with the required information, I proceed to call customer service. I was told that they could not replace just the carafe, but would send me a new machine for $25. I asked why it would be $25 if the product was in fact under warranty? 'That cost is to cover shipping'. Undoubtedly, I do not want to pay an additional $25 on top of the $60 already spent to purchase the product, regardless of whether or not I'm getting an entirely new machine. I could buy a new machine by a different manufacturer for far less. Apparently, based on the other posts I've read, this seems to be a recurring problem with these coffee pots.
As a result, I have an electric coffee maker with no carafe that is unusable. It will not take any other carafe. It will have to be thrown away. I CAN opt to pay the $25 and get a whole new machine, but will still be left with the unusable base from my original one. I would prefer, at this point, to purchase a new machine from a different manufacturer, as I will NOT give one more penny to Haier, only to have to do this again in another 4 months.
