$1,200 microwave started on fire. Still waiting over 2 months for warranty service. Glass shattered, interior burned. 2 weeks ago I was told as a courtesy they would replace the glass by a manager. The manager's decision was overridden and the glass was not ordered and warranty service for the fire still not complete. Every call results in an hour of my life being taken away from me. What's worse is I am being inundated with ads from Frigidaire by phone, text and email requesting me to purchase the extended warranty!

I owned a microwave for 10 months and the handle began to peel. I called and the customer ser rep was very rude. She said they will not replace the handle because I do not have an account with Frigidaire as if their products are not sold by 3rd parties. She muted my call for over 30 minutes and refused to transfer me to a supervisor. I would never buy another Frigidaire product.

After owning this microwave for 22 months the handle fell off. Frigidaire, of course, said warranty was only for a year. We've owned microwaves for 40 years and never had a handle fall off even the ones that came with previously owned homes. All they offered was 20% discount on $149.00 part - it was cheaper online. There's no way a handle should fall off a product that old - we hardly even use it.

We purchased a Frigidaire Gallery microwave from Home Depot in October 2020. By June 2022, it completely stopped working! It only worked for 18 months; meanwhile I've purchased cheap Walmart microwaves that lasted forever. I called Frigidaire and was told I had to pay $100 for a tech to come out. After waiting over a week, the service day finally came. The day of my service, they TEXTED me to say it had been rescheduled for 2 weeks later!! Of course I called Electrolux to let them know this was unacceptable. Their suggestion was for ME to call THEIR servicer to see if he could come sooner, then call them back & let them know. I reminded her that I'm a PAYING customer and I will NOT hunt down their servicer!! She said she'll call me back if she can get an earlier appointment but don't expect it. I'm livid that we've updated our entire kitchen with Frigidair'es subpar products & subpar customer service. Beware...

Microwave continues to blow a fuse. Have replaced the fuse 3 times in the last 7 days. I have contacted Frigidaire twice and they just tell me that it is out of warranty. The name of the company they recommend that I call for repairs has 1 star and horrible reviews. I believe there is a bigger issue with the microwave if the fuse continually blows. I purchased this microwave based on Consumer Report recommendations. There are only 2 people in the house, so the microwave gets very little use. I would not recommend any Frigidaire microwaves and I believe Frigidaire needs to address consumer concerns more seriously.

We bought this microwave from Lowe’s on May 29, 2021. It took 5 weeks and a half weeks to deliver because they kept sending damaged ones. They finally installed the microwave on July 8th. But by the end of September we started noticing a strong burning smell coming from the microwave. I called and was given an appointment that never showed up.

Model # FPMO209RFA built Feb 2016, parts began breaking down very early. Display light went out within a year with no way to replace. The door latch will not release door. I have to push release and pull door to open. Never again will I buy this brand.

The price was good and it lasted without severe issues for two years. After the two year mark it started taking long and longer to heat the simplest things. It started with heating a pizza with the reheat button (30 secs) and now it takes a minute or more. If you’re in a bind and need a cheap microwave that looks sleek and fancy this is your go to, but if you want long lasting go somewhere else.

We purchased a complete kitchen suite of the Frigidaire Professional Series appliances in 2016. Overall we’ve loved them. This week the over the oven microwave failed. Upon inspection the failure is a horrible design flaw. The wiring harness passes through a section of plastic, and because the edges of the plastic were not made smooth it eventually cut through the harness covering and two wires. Based on the repair sites I reviewed online the microwave is virtually irreparable. A new door assembly costs as much as a complete new microwave (over $600). Also, the steel at the left bottom corner of the door frame, where the hinge goes into the body, was engineered too thin, and it has broken as well. Between this and a poorly engineered Frigidaire Professional Series toaster oven design flaw that led to the electrical board literally melting, the next time I buy kitchen appliances it won’t be Frigidaire, or any other related brands.

I purchased an over the range convection microwave in 2018. After 2 years it stopped working. It would trip my breaker when opening the door and cause sparks when unplugging the unit. After many calls and emails they replaced the unit. Now 9 months later the same thing is happening. I’m reading many other people with this issue so stay clear of Frigidaire microwaves. I have since contacted Frigidaire and they say they will not fix or replace. Seems like a high end appliance should last more than 9 months. Buyer beware of Frigidaire!

Wall Oven purchased new on Feb. 13, 2021; delivered on Feb. 24 and installed on Feb. 26, 2021 by a professional installer. The microwave door is opened by a push button. There was a 8-10 second delay after pushing the button before the door opened. The problem was noted to the seller (Home Depot) who notified the manufacturer under the standard one year warranty. After two different repair agencies have addressed the problem and replaced the microwave door opening system, there is still a delay although it is now 3-4 seconds. I have discussed this problem directly (by phone) with Frigidaire service representative who promised me a complete satisfaction. The representative promised to call me with a possible replacement of the microwave unit but has never called back. It is now May 27, 2021 and the problem remains unresolved.

We purchased the over the range Gallery microwave and within a month the handle started to melt. I called Frigidaire and informed them of this and they said that it did not affect the working of the microwave and that would not replace it. It has now been a year and it has gotten worse. It not only looks terrible but it feels awful when opening and closing the door. It sad since otherwise I like the microwave.

Every time we open the door to the microwave to check on the food we are heating, the circuit breaker trips. It took a few times before I looked into the problem and found reviews on your website and Best Buy that indicated others were having the same problem. We have had the microwave for about 2 years. It is just the two of us that use it. It was a higher end model that we purchased but we are very disappointed. Our microwave that we replaced was over 10 years old.

Have a wall oven and microwave that has required numerous repairs in now does not work at all and has been checked by a representative of the company and has it determined that it is unrepairable and that’s been over 2 1/2 weeks ago and they still have not decided what They are going to do.

Very happy with our purchase about a year ago. Easy to use. Installation went well. Easy to clean. Built-in light for over the stove is nice. Seems to heat evenly. Has good presets for quick heating.

Performs great at defrosting & cooking. Turntable works smoothly. Heats evenly. Perfect size for under counter, but looks good enough to be out in the open. Surfaces clean easily with a damp cloth. Changing power levels is quick & easy. There are only two features of this microwave that I find annoying (& both have easy fixes). One, when the time is up, it beeps loudly for several seconds & repeats over & over...even after you open the door. You can disable this. The second is, if you hesitate when pushing the numbers for the cooking time, it will set the time for what you have entered & start. So know what time you want to set before hitting any numbers!

After about 14 years of great service our beloved Microwave for which we love to reheat leftovers and cook popcorn has died. It for the last 2 year has been showing its age as the front window has been cracking and the handle broke so that only the top was holding on. But we will be buying another Frigidaire Microwave.

Long lasting, no problem, lives up to the brand name. Digital product with several options to choose from. Stainless steel with no water or fingerprints. Auto magic time when food has completed cycle. I would highly recommend this microwave because it has met the manufacturer and mine expectations thoroughly.

On our Frigidaire microwave the micro switches continue to be a problem. It seems that short out and cause the circuit breaker to trip and you can not reset breaker as it continues to trip. We have had our microwave serviced 3 times for same issue, therefore we strongly recommend you purchase an extended warranty. Without the warranty, maintenance cost would exorbitant.

I don't feel very confident with it. Must get too hot a lot because it turns off a lot midstream and need to restart it. Hard to keep turntable on correctly to turn. Doesn't seem that strong. I would buy another brand next time.

It has been okay, don't seem to get as hot as expected, and I don't like the buzzer that goes off letting you know when the cook time has finished. Some of the functions for setting defrost times, etc are confusing.

I was a little disappointed. The appliance broke down in a very short time period. It took me over two months for my Home Warranty to get the parts to get it repaired. I had Jenn Air before. Lasted for over 12 years.

It is just the right size. The buttons are large and can be viewed without glasses. It has features that allow for a variety of ways to heat or cook. It is easy to clean inside and out. We would recommend!

2 year old Frigidaire Gallery Microwave (model FGMV176NTDB) trips circuit breaker. Started with a blown fuse, which I replace ($18 for a $2 fuse... price gouging on parts). That got it to turn on, but as soon as we push "start" it trips the circuit breaker. Repairman came yesterday (had to take a full day off work). He replaced the central door switch. Tried to use it this morning and it tripped circuit breaker again as soon as you push "start". If you Google "Frigidaire microwave trips circuit breaker" you will find many posts about this problem. 2 years old and it's going to go in the landfill.

While I love the performance and features of my Frigidaire Over-The-Range microwave, today the "Filter" light came on for the first time. So I opened up the panel covering the filter - and it wasn't there. It is supposed to come with a filter. So I called customer support and asked for my filter. Since I purchased the microwave in my camper 2.5 years ago, they refused to do anything but give me a 15% discount on what they described as a "replacement." They aren't replacing anything and refused to stand behind their manufacturing mistake. I had no reason to suspect it wouldn't be there until the filter light reminded me to replace it. They should have sent me the filter free of charge. I don't think that is unreasonable. They do not stand behind their products. Floritza was not very understanding on the phone - no empathy, no real apology. Either one might have dampened my frustration enough not to write this.

We had the microwave come with our manufactured home in October, 2018. It died yesterday. So we got 2 years and 1 month. No warranty, but as soon as my husband goes back to work we will buy another brand! My son replaced the blown fuse in it but it blew it out again. I will never buy this brand again. Be careful if you buy one, start a saving account so you can buy a new one in 2 years.

Have had Frigidaire over the stove Microwave for 1.5 years and keep having problems with door sensors telling microwave to trip breaker. Not under warranty so had to call out repair service. They determined it was a door sensor that was broken and replaced it. Worked for a few weeks and now for the last 2 months, I keep my fingers crossed that when I go to use microwave it will not trip the breaker. Sometimes it only takes one trip to the garage to restore breaker and sometimes 2 or 3 times. Frigidaire takes no responsibility for a clear design problem. Door has always been hard to open. Had a GE for 14 years that still worked perfectly when I moved. I would not recommend any Frigidaire product to anyone. Don't want to call out repair again because they will just charge me more money. Would rather buy cheap counter top unit then keep using my over the range Frigidaire microwave.

Model FFCE1439LW. Mfr date 10/17. Purchased 2/1/18 because 1) 25 yo Kenmore finally died 2) you can’t live w/o a microwave. Drove 20 miles each way just to buy this bc it’s white—didn’t want to buy all new appliances bc white isn’t the ‘in’ color anymore. Only white microwave available anywhere, and 10 days wait even on Amazon Prime. This has not performed at all since day one. It’s control panel is very picky—if you don’t mash the start button hard enough, it will start countdown but no actual cooking is happening. It needs to get smacked in order to run.

Bought two of the same brand same style microwave for over the range within a 9 year period. First gallery microwave died the first year. The second one broke today. the door latch just stopped working in the middle of a reheat. I will not buy Frigidaire again. It has been a waste of my money. The range that came with the set is also junk. the door never has completely shut and you can see the steam escape above the door. The refrigerator always pops since day one. Wish I never bought any of these products.

I purchased Frigidaire's 4 piece kitchen appliance set and within 1.5 years, I've attached operating issues with 2 products. Noticing issues with basically new appliances, I purchased the extended warranties. I contacted Frigidaire in April about the microwave cutting off during the cooking time. They sent a technician from Fast Appliance located in my area and to date, the technician has been to my home 6 times for the same issue. During this pandemic, this is not acceptable. Going back and forth between Frigidaire and the repair appliance company is something no consumer should have to deal with after paying for the appliance and the warranty.

Just bought house at Kent Ranch. House came with Frigidaire Gallery appliances installed by the builder contractor, combination microwave and oven is the worst thing we ever had, the microwave did not even last a year, we only use it once or twice a week with a max 2 min heating, when suddenly stop working and lost power.. Made in CHINA.

Model no: CGMV176NTF. DO NOT buy the Frigidaire Gallery microwave. Ours was purchased in Oct. 2018 and died in May 2020...just 1.5 years after purchasing it. After YouTube and Google research, it sounds like a faulty door switch. We opened the microwave door and the microwave made a popping noise, and the lights in kitchen flickered. Our house has upgraded 200 amp service so it's not our electrical. It's been a month now, and the supposed 'repair kit' isn't in yet. Why does a microwave that was only used for 1.5 years have its own repair kit? It hasn't even been inspected by a technician yet. There needs to be a recall.

My Frigidaire over range microwave (Gallery series) purchased/registered in Aug 2019 suddenly began ‘arcing’ making it unusable. It has one yr warranty that’s fast approaching. I had SAME model for 21 yrs until it died of OLD AGE! I go to website for 800# (“due to C-19 our phone lines temp not in service- BUT go to our website for ALL your needs”). On website it directs you to go to the ‘CHAT BUTTON’ if you cannot find your answer ONLY there is NO such BUTTON. But after several minutes of navigating for BUTTON & with NO obvious alternate contact tools (other than multiple messages to call 800# if product under warranty (same out-of-service #), I ACCIDENTALLY tabbed to end of site that had an EMAIL contact with message: “And if you have the time to contact us by email -see button below.” (there was a button!)

Bought Frigidaire counter microwave and soon after I got it paint inside started cracking. Smokes and burning smell. Afraid to use. Would not recommend or do not intend to buy anymore Frigidaire products. At least $200.00 down the drain and I am a senior on a fixed income. I had a better experience with a $25 yard sale microwave.

This Frigidaire Microwave came with a house we bought. We use it maybe 3-5 times a week. Built in July 2016, Model LFMV164QFA. I closed the door one day and saw a spark and flash and now the thing is dead. From reading other reviews this seems to be a known door switch problem. I have NEVER had a microwave stop working! After 15 years, my old one is still going strong! Very disappointed! I thought Frigidaire was a quality company. I am now worried about my Frigidaire stove (which has been rapidly cycling on and off once at temperature) and Frigidaire refrigerator....

Have used this microwave for about 28 months. I take care of my stuff. I don't use it too much or anything. Google the term 'Frigidaire microwaves' and you will read 'fuse going out,' 'it trips my circuit breaker,' and something with the door latch feature, all 3 issues causing this to not work. Yep. Just after the 1 year warranty or around the 2 year mark, such as mine. You will feel mistaken for a fool, robbed blind of your money, as they do not stand behind their product. Just called customer services/warranty and all they can do is recommend a repair person. Repair person told me it will cost $200 or more so best to just replace it. Will never buy Frigidaire again. Bought $5000 worth of Frigidaire (Electrolux) appliances. Fridge compressor failed, just barely covered under 12-month warranty. Then I spilled a bowl of soup in the microwave, which is mounted above the oven. This caused the oven to fail because it dribbled onto circuit board which is not protected. The Tech said it was not covered because it was my fault for spilling a bowl of soup. He did fix it though, (2 weeks from the end of the 12-month warranty) and acted like he was doing me a big favor. You spill something, it will cost you $500 after the 12 warranty runs out. This is a glaring, irresponsible design flaw.

This Microwave needs to be recalled. It blows fuses and the 20 amp circuit in my home. Frigidaire will do nothing to help you out. They offer 20% off on parts. The service tech told me, "Throw it out. It's not worth it". They told me to change my circuit breaker to a larger one. I won't be surprised if someone's house doesn't burn down. Mine is a little over two years old. Model # FGMV175qfa. I wrote a letter to the Federal Trade Commission. Hope others will do the same.

Purchased appliance Nov.2017. Within 9 mos. door circuit failed and replaced under warranty. One year later same switch failed and cost was $280.00 to repair. Dec 19/2019 switch went again. Microwave not working at all same as before. No help from dealer. Phoned Frigidaire. ABSOLUTELY no help. As other reviewers have stated, they do not stand behind this product in the slightest. Net result in 2 years of owning this product it has cost us a dollar a day. Avoid this piece of junk and the Frigidaire company in general!

Bought Frigidaire gallery over the range microwave and it only worked for 22 months. Had a Kenmore before that and it lasted 18 years. Stay away from Frigidaire. I bought this microwave because of the size, it was the only one that could fit into the space that I have.

Purchase this microwave 3 years ago. Temperature never seemed right. Lowest setting was same as highest setting. Recently the unit kept tripping the circuit breaker. Tried multiple plugs and same result. Then it just stopping working entirely. Frigidaire was no help, out of warranty. From reading the comments on this site I can see that this is a known issue that is being ignored by Frigidaire. It also seems apparent that Frigidaire manipulates their service to extend repairs until units are out of warranty rather than replacing.

My Frigidaire Gallery was recommended but now I regret this purchase. Like many other reviewers have noted, after about a year, it begins to trip the circuit breaker. When I called Frigidaire, their only remedy was to purchase a new one or get it repaired for several hundred dollars. Why is Frigidaire continuing to make a defective product??! I'm so frustrated and angered. They're aware of the problem and offer no remedy that's fair to their customers. My old microwave (different brand) worked for 26 years! I only replaced it because I wanted stainless steel and an upgraded model.

Frigidaire is a complete fraud!!!! In less than a year my microwave fuse has blown. So they sent out a technician to fix it, in less than 2 days after repair the same fuse blew again. Technician came out again and fixed. A week later the fuse blew again. I advised the technician that my electrician stated if the same problem is occurring then the unit should be replaced. He said no it can be fixed so they replaced the same fuse again and the panel has been removed so much it's loose. So now today the fuse has blown again and they offer me a 40% discount because now I'm out of warranty and my previous microwave from Whirlpool lasted a whole 6/7 years with any issues. So I just want to know how many people buy a microwave every year???? I'll wait. Still waiiting. I feel disgusted, I feel cheated and I feel mistreated. This company sucks and I will be writing a letter of disgust and will post this on every site about frigidaire.

Updated on 12/04/2019: Absolutely horrible experience with this company. I bought their microwave and in a two year period it broke down twice already and when you call their customer service division up their response is, "Sorry, it's out of warranty, nothing we can do for you." After reading all the negative reviews about them, it doesn't surprise me one bit, really. Stay away from any of their microwaves. The quality is not there, you are better off to pay for another brand, even if it cost you more. It's not worth going through their bs excuses.

Purchased new Frigidaire Gallery microwave oven with convection FGMV154CLFA. After about 8 months of use the circuit breaker tripped and then the fuse in the microwave began to fail regularly. The appliance store I bought the item from sent a repair person to replace the door interlock switches and switch holder. The repair person explained that that door switch failure was common and that the newly installed switches should last longer than the factory installed switches. However 6 months later the same problem occurred. The microwave was now out of warranty and Frigidaire would not cover the repair. The service person I used before indicated that the door switch holder/interlock was faulty and that Frigidaire was instructing that new door switch holder be installed. Very disappointed that Frigidaire is not owning up to their mistake that a number of others are also seem to be experiencing.

We purchased Frigidaire Gallery microwave as a replacement for the existing gallery microwave 4 years after we purchased our house. The new gallery microwave was purchased August of 2018. Two weeks ago it started flipping the circuit breaker. This week it didn’t flip the breaker, it just went dead. We could not revive it. Could not get any assistance from Frigidaire or the company we purchased it from. After reading the reviews on this site, sounds like the Better Business Bureau should be involved for this total disregard for its consumers by manufacturing defective products. End of story, went and bought a different name brand with extended warranty and they will take care servicing it directly.

The combo microwave/convection wall oven is a ridiculous idea in the first place. You cannot replace just one unit. My appliance is 6 years old. I spent $300 to repair the microwave 3 years ago. I now have to spend another $1,200 for a new main board and element to repair the oven because it isn't heating properly. It costs $4,000 plus tax to replace the entire appliance which is not happening. Unfortunately the oven came with the house but must say I never would have chosen the combo for obvious reasons. I've read many of the reviews from dissatisfied customers about other appliances and poor treatment so hopefully Frigidaire will clean up their act or go out of business!

With a 1 year warranty it lost power 3 days before the warranty expired. We called Frigidaire and it took 3 weeks to send somebody out. It was a fuse. They should have diagnosed why the fuse blew. It blew out in 1 month so I replaced it, a $2 part, then it blew 2 more times in 2 weeks. We trashed it.

Contact you "directly?" Following a review I posted about the plastic door of my 2 year old microwave oven cracking, I received a message from someone in customer service asking that I call Frigidaire "directly." So I did. I had the same result I had the first time I called customer service; I was referred to a local appliance dealer. I went through this process once already, and spoke to a very nice man who told me a new microwave door would cost $349, + delivery and installation costs. "Briana," I have been down your path before and I choose not to repeat this. It makes no sense to have to replace a microwave oven in two years and it makes no sense to be directed to customer service only to be re-directed to an appliance dealer. The plastic door frame is junk; after it cracked, the handle broke free. How can I reliably open the microwave oven? Steer clear of Frigidaire!

We purchased a new home that came complete with Frigidaire appliances. Our microwave has a faulty switch in the door that lasted just under two years. It has needed replacement twice. Frigidaire will only help with the cost of the parts. They know it is faulty but won’t accept responsibility!!

Purchased a Frigidaire model number fgmv176n,...over the range microwave oven and installed 1-15-18. Starts making a Whistle type sound in April (less than 3 months) problem, turntable support. March 2019, after 14 months of use. Unit would just go dead. Blew fuse repeatedly and also had problem in door. Service out 3 times, repaired, and problem arose while serviceman was still on site, finally repaired. Worked fine until September 5, 2019, only 19 months of use. Rather than additional cost of yet a 5th service call,...scrapped unit and replaced. Salesperson at appliance store said, "Not surprised by your misfortune, poorly made produce."

Purchased a Frigidaire microwave. Sensors went bad just after a year. Frigidaire serviceman comes after we pay $100 service fee to look at it. He informs us the parts are defective, that Frigidaire KNOWS they are defective, and even if he puts in new ones it WILL break again... It's only a matter of time! The company is knowingly selling defective merchandise and the customers are paying for it. I contacted the company with this info, and they denied me any help except to send another service technician on my dime. I will NEVER buy Frigidaire again. This is a dirty company.

Our home is newly built and our appliances are new. The microwave continued to trip the circuit breaker. We've had electricians over and cannot figure out what the problem is. Frigidaire wants to charge $200 just to come out and take a look at it. I can buy a new one for that price!!! I don't plan to spend any more money or time trying to get this microwave operational. You don't expect to replace a new microwave after two years. The model #FFMV162LSA. Manufactured August, 2016. I am disappointed at the lack of quality. Frigidaire used to be a product you could depend on.

I've had this microwave for 17 years and never had any problems and it has all of the features I wanted. It's a nice size that I can put most dishes or pots in. I love the timer, 30 second feature, quick timed cooking, popcorn and other favorite button features. It has a wired shelf where I can heat or cook items on the top and below. I can remove the shelf for larger pots. Of course, it has a carousel. It looks great and easy to clean. Works great!

Bought Frigidaire Gallery series model FGMV155CTF microwave in 2017. From the beginning, the microwave took much longer to heat/cook than our previous unit. About 6 months ago, we start hearing arcing noises coming from the microwave but it would stop when you opened the door and then the problem would go away for a month. Then come back once and go away again. Now today the microwave tripped the CB and will not come on. If you jiggle the door, it will come on briefly, then die again. I will have to spend a $100 service fee to fix a microwave.... Most microwaves never break. It is obvious that Frigidaire was aware of this problem and did nothing to fix it. I will do my best to never buy another Frigidaire appliance. Cheated.

Mine is part of a series and it matched my other appliances. It works perfectly with the decor! I have not had any problems with it at all in the 10 years I have owned it. I would replace it with the same make and model.

Cooks evenly, very reliable, cost about $100 so well worth the price. This is a over the range fan/microwave. The filters are really easy to take off and clean. This model has a "stainless" look plastic, which is also easy to keep clean. Never had a problem with the turntable.

This Frigidaire gallery microwave was in the house when we bought it. It works fine but I would prefer a combination microwave and convection oven. I tend to lean towards a Samsung or LG. Will hopefully be replacing it soon.

It's an economy microwave for occasional use, I bought it to go in my camper. I have used it a few time. I did not spend a lot, it looks good, and it works fine. I got what I paid for, and am happy with it.

This microwave has lit itself on fire a couple of times, for some strange reason there was a piece of metal cardboard like material covering an inside part! I removed that piece and used the microwave without it and I haven’t had any other problems.

This microwave has been outstanding since I purchased it. No issues, it works flawlessly, cleans easily and looks great with my other stainless appliances. I'd buy another in a heartbeat. I did a lot of online research before I chose it and am not sorry.

Microwave fail after roughly 9 months. When you hit start button, it would trip the circuit breaker. Opened a warranty claim and service man picked it up within days. For over six weeks I have had the open warranty claim. Under no circumstances should their customer service allow the behavior associated with my claim for product Model FFMV1645TD, serial number KG73706310. Service man can't repair it and Frigidaire won't and haven't replaced nor refunded my money. I'm out of option other than warning other customers of their behavior.

We bought a brand new microwave model ffcm1155us, and thankfully we got the warranty from Walmart, because we have to immediately take it back. The door will NOT close, at all, and the display stays dark.

Piece of junk!!! We had the Frigidaire gallery microwave model FGMV175WFA 2 years and then the internal fan and light would no longer go off unless unplugged making it useless since that could cause a fire hazard!!! We paid $300 dollars for this crap and it is already junk after 2 years. We have a 8 year old Emerson counter top microwave from Walmart that still works far better than this Frigidaire junk ever did and it only cost $100. Stay away from this absolute junk. The company should recall this garbage.

Purchased a Frigidaire microwave Nov 4 2016, Model CGMV175QFA. Broke down just after warranty expired. Had it repaired for $250. Now just 2.5 years after purchase, broke again. Called my appliance repair person. Told me it would cost more than I paid for the unit when it was new, for parts and labour, of course I said no. I called Frigidaire. They told me too bad. Warranty over and would take no responsibility... I have invested about $800 and after 2 and half years I have nothing to show for it. I would recommend not to buy FRIGIDAIRE Products as the product is prone to stop working before a reasonable time.

I purchased a Frigidaire microwave/convection oven unit from The Brick 3 years ago in March. About four months into having it, it actually started rusting on the inside. I noticed little spots of it. So I called The Brick, who of course, didn't matter who I talked to, they said not our problem, call Frigidaire. So I called Frigidaire couldn't get through to anybody, but was able to leave an email. So I attach the pictures of the rust and sent it off to Frigidaire. Nobody called me. I just received an email saying that sorry, rusting is not covered because it all depends on how you keep your unit. They said that every time you have anything with moisture in it, the microwave should be left open for a certain amount of time to get rid of the moisture. So I said, I don't see anything in your how to manual that says to do that.

I have had my Frigidaire microwave for 9 months. It has started to intermittently make these extremely loud cracking noise when it is started up. It worked fine for the first 8 months, and now this. Frigidaire sent out a service technician. He tried to get the appliance to make the sound, but it wouldn't. He shook his head and told me there was nothing he could do.

We have had this microwave for 18 months. It was purchased from Lowe's. It was manufactured Jan 2015. The microwave developed a problem with the door cable (power strip) according to the technician. After troubleshooting, the strip running from the body of the microwave to the top left cover of the front door was the problem of the microwave working intermittingly. Certain function could not be performed. The door would have to be replaced. This was not cost effective for Lowe's to be repaired.

Purchased this model in March of 2018 and within six weeks it was making loud banging noises and tripping the circuit breakers. Took it back to Grand Appliances and swapped it for another of the same model. It worked fine for two months and then the clock would change time on its own. Then it would not heat very well. Took over one minute to melt butter. Now the unit will not shut off when the heating cycle is finished unless the unit is unplugged. Do not buy Frigidaire unless you are prepared for one problem after another. I will never buy another thing from this company for the rest of my life. Total junk.

First things first, I moved into this new house this year, everything in here is newly installed. This microwave constantly trips. The repairman was called, at first it didn’t seem like anything was wrong. When he left it kept tripping. Couldn’t heat up or cook anything. I used bowls filled with water for a time to "trick" it into working. When that stopped working we had to call repair guy again and let him know it simply wasn’t working no matter what. So he orders parts. I wait for what I suppose is a month. It feels like forever. I’m mainly living off my stove to eat and take out food FYI.

Well this happened tonight, I was watching TV and walked into the kitchen and smelled a hot smell. I searched for several minutes and found nothing. I figured it might be the furnace and went back to watching the TV. About 10 minutes later I heard the microwave beep several times and turn on by itself and start cooking. The microwave had been used approx. 2 hours earlier to warm up water (5 minutes on the timer). It beeped and turned itself off, water was removed and the door closed. 2 hours later the microwave itself on and when I found it, the inside of the microwave was very hot to touch. The model is a: Frigidaire FFMV162LBA purchased 2014.

I purchased the Frigidaire Gallery Microwave in June 2017. I had to have it serviced 3 times in less than a year. When I called Frigidaire I was told to contact my electrician as it I had a weak breaker. My electrician did his testing and said it was in fact the microwave not the breaker. He installed a new breaker just to satisfy Frigidaire. The company they wanted me to use came to my house and took my microwave back to their shop at which time they did find that the issue was in the microwave itself. They replaced the main board in it.

Started to trip the circuit a month ago and is unusable. This microwave has its own circuit so no reason for it to be doing this. Costs more to fix than to replace with a reliable brand. Save yourself the hassle, time and money.

I moved into a new home and my microwave glass plate randomly cracked which microwaving a macaroni and cheese casserole. Since it was more than 30 days old (but < 60 days!) they would not warranty the glass plate and wanted $98 to replace it. (BTW - I used to have a Frigidaire refrigerator and would never own one again -- spent tons of money after it was out of warranty but continued to have the same problems). If you have the option, buy from a different manufacturer!

I purchased the Frigidaire Gallery microwave model FGMV175QFA. I have complained several times about the door being very difficult to open and keeps popping fuse. Called seller who won’t do anything and called Frigidaire and they won’t do anything either. It is currently not working again. Less than 3 years old. BUYER BEWARE.

Tried to reach customer service. On hold for 20 minutes. Then I was given their fancy dancy robot girl who disconnected me. Then I sent an email and got back no call. Only ads. We’ve had this microwave one and a half years and it’s the pits. It keeps blowing fuses. We had our electric looked at. There is nothing wrong with it. It’s their crappy microwave and we can’t reach them to even talk about it to even ask technical support if they could tell us what to do. Don’t buy this product.

After four months, our microwave failed to work. Called Frigidaire and they gave me the number of a service company. Tech came one week later, said he'd order part, and never heard from him again. Call Frigidaire and received another company name. Called them and the repairman came out two weeks later, before he was out the door, it was not working again. Totally dead. Called them back and they were out of the part. Took two months for the part to come in. Broke again shortly after repair. Tech installed the part wrong. New tech came out and told us he worked for the company for two weeks and would have to go home and watch a YouTube video to find out how to access the front panel. Unfreaking believable. People I am not making this up. Stay away from Frigidaire - Far, far away.

Bought model number FFCM1155US Frigidaire Microwave Oven at Wal-Mart. Took it out of the box, set it up on the counter, read the instructions and tried to heat up a cup of coffee and pressed in the time I wanted and nothing happened. I unplugged the microwave and plugged in to another outlet and still nothing. I plugged in a different appliance into the same outlet I used for the microwave and the appliance worked. I called their customer service number and not available. I’ll be returning the microwave to Wal-Mart first thing tomorrow.

My Frigidaire Gallery microwave, just under three years old, was making a strange noise while in use. I turned to see flames shooting. I opened the door and black ashes came out. The flames were coming through the clip that holds the rack, burning the interior. I called Frigidaire and was told there was no recall. I said someone has to be the first to call. I was told to call a repairman and if found defective they would cover 50% of the cost. I explained I do not see how this can be repaired due to just the visible damage, not including the cause of the fire. I asked if not repairable do they replace the microwave? NO! so I would be paying for a repairman and a new microwave! Answer was YES!

Purchased 1/7 cubic ft. microwave. It stopped working within 10 months. Still under warranty but they referred me to an incompetent repair company Dial Appliances who performed very poorly. Microwave still does not work so I decided to buy a new one (not Frigidaire) rather than deal with Frigidaire Customer Service and Dial Appliances.

I purchased the Frigidaire Gallery microwave FGMV175QFA which was manufactured July 2016 (not even 3 years old manufactured). I purchased this product the later part of 2016. So I have only had this product in my home less than 3 years and have already had it serviced twice now. Most recently Nov. 19, 2018 paying a total of $207.67.

Have had Gallery over range microwave model FGMV175QFA for 17 months. It has stopped working 5 times. 3 times under warranty, once the installer fixed for free. 5th breakdown means time for a new one. Seems to be a recurring problem with door sensor - opening door while operating would blow the sensor. Door has been replaced once. We're done with this lemon and not going back to Frigidaire.

I purchased a new home in April. The handle on the microwave is already peeling. I called and was told the whole door would have to be replaced which conveniently wasn’t covered because it had been more than 30 days. For sure will not replace any appliances with another Frigidaire. They do not cover cosmetic problems. If it was of better quality it wouldn’t be peeling.

On 28 Sept 2018 I purchased a new convection microwave oven (Frigidaire FPBM3077RF) from local store. I found that the oven will not heat above 350F, even though it has settings as high as 450F (which settings are, I suggest, an implicit warranty that the oven can reach above 350). ** representatives refused to consider any/all claims, referring the issue to the manufacturer's warranty, as I had declined their extended warranty option. OK.

I purchased a Frigidaire Microwave in July, 2017. After a few uses it started making a horrible noise when I hit start. I thought it was going to blow up. There is no rhyme or reason when it does this. It is so frightening that I cover my ears and want to run from the room out of fear. I contacted Frigidaire and all they did was give me a repair service #. This # happened to be Lowe's and all they did was give me a repairman that was closest to my address, as you probably know, Lowe's does not do their own repair. After reading other reviews that have had bad experiences with getting parts or repairs I feel it would be useless to contact a repairman. I also purchased a refrigerator and stove, all Frigidaire. I will never purchase anything Frigidaire again.

We bought a Frigidaire Gallery microwave at the end of summer 2017. Less than a year later and still within warranty the microwave died. It has been over 6 months and Frigidaire has yet to fix or replace this lemon we bought. Purchased a completely renovated home six weeks in. The Frigidaire dishwasher has leaked three times so we discarded it and purchased a different brand that made us happy. Today, I used the microwave for the first time and will be discarding it - the loud noise from the turntable was frightening. I have had many appliances that have lasted for a long time. Will NEVER purchase a Frigidaire product EVER. Six weeks in and two appliances are scrap. Sad that Frigidaire does not care!

We have an above the stove microwave that is under warranty. Had problems in November, repaired fuse. It stopped working a couple months ago AGAIN and we’ve had a repair person out multiple times to fix everything in it. Waiting weeks in between for parts. The appliance repair people that come out have to go through the Frigidaire factory line. We’ve had to pay for an electrician to come out because they said it was the electrical, when it was not. Frigidaire will not reimburse the $126 that we paid for the electrician to tell us what we already knew, nothing wrong with the house wiring.

The new microwave would not accept commands from the keypad, including the time set after following the instructions several times. When support was called they asked us to read the instructions while looking the model up on the internet as they had no information or manual. We found how to get the microwave reset to default and how to get programming options from a third party website. The warranty card will not be sent in as it will useless, and buying a new microwave will be easier and cheaper. We will never buy another Frigidaire product again.

Frigidaire Microwave Model FGMV175QFA was bought brand new from Brandsmart store. After one year a nice built in microwave which is installed up to the e-range stop to work. I reviewed my warranty and unfortunately it was expired one month behind. The technician came up and he fixed for almost half of the amount that I paid new. Less than a month, the microwave stop to work. I called the technician again and he showed me that other part of the microwave is broken. It is a nice looking appliance that we usually buy with the rest of the kitchen equipment. I recommend you that do not buy from Frigidaire or pay a humongous and expensive extended warranty who absorb the design flaws that the appliance has.

We remodelled our entire kitchen in 2012. Purchased the above the stove built-in microwave from Frigidaire. 2 yrs ago, the front of the microwave where the handle meets developed a small crack. The door is made of plastic and there are 3 cracks now and they continue to get bigger. This microwave is not worth the money we spent. Find another brand.

Handle broke off of microwave within 6 months of installing and the digital clock doesn’t keep accurate time!!! Loses two-three minutes every day. Unfortunately I didn’t install it immediately so the company won’t fix it. The stove I bought has one burner that can’t be accurately controlled, if I turn it on passing hi first the burner stays on high, if I turn it on passing low first then it stays on low (of course it’s the front right burner). Started about two years of owning it. I can’t use the self cleaning option cause it trips my circuit, used it all the time on my old oven... the handle of the new Frigidaire refrigerator that we got at work broke off in about a 15 months. I DO NOT RECOMMEND FRIGIDAIRE PRODUCTS.

I purchased this Frigidaire microwave from Walmart for my son for Christmas, 2016. At the time, I also purchased a 3 year Care Plan which covers defects. The Care Plan is provided by a third party called Asurion. My son opened the door and the handle came out of the microwave in his hand. We called Walmart's warranty company Asurion and they claim it's a cosmetic problem although the microwave cannot be opened. There is a hole at the top when the handle was attached. I would assume there would be radiation leakage coming the hole where the door handle was located. This warranty company is a rip off.

The glass turntable has broken twice now and today I took an item out of the unit and walked away and when I came back it was on and heating up nothing but the glass turntable which had broken. I have left the door open so it doesn't turn on accidentally again and burn the house down. Going to have to buy another microwave just to be on the safe side. It was bought in Aug of 2014 and the first turntable glass plate was replaced in Nov of 2017.

I wanted to warn future potential buyers of any Frigidaire appliances to steer clear of Frigidaire products due to their quality of products and customer support. Most specifically for the over the range microwave. We had purchased this unit new, after replacing another unit, from another make and model, that lasted 12 years!! Initially, all seemed ok with this unit. However, a few months into using it, the turntable started squeaking and grinding, a very high-pitched squeak, annoying at best, but we were troubled that this unit was so new!! So, we called Frigidaire, they verified that this would be replaced free, the turntable motor to be specific, not the unit, they gave us a few local contractors to contact to have them come take a look at the unit. We had a local contractor come take a look and he verified that it was indeed the turntable motor, which he would have to order.

We bought the entire kitchen set of Frigidaire Gallery in November of 2017. After reviewing the information about the companies with the least amount of service calls or repairs, (Frigidaire was ranked 3rd), we went with them. Boy, were we wrong! After making our purchase on Nov 22 and having the appliances delivered December 9 our level of excitement was overwhelming! We left for a Christmas vacation for a couple weeks. When we returned, after only using the microwave twice before leaving, we used it Jan 2. The nice hum of the microwave turned into a loud, continuous roar. Immediately, I smelled a plastic, electrical smell, and the microwave no longer was heating. We had to open the windows. The smell was so bad!

After owning my Frigidaire LFMV164QFA built-in over the range microwave for just over two years, it stopped working with no notice. I normally use the microwave twice per day for less than five minutes per use. It just shut down. Fuse and outlet check revealed outlet still functioning normally. This was a cheap builder-grade microwave, but this short-term life is unacceptable. When it did function, you had to slam the door to get it to shut, or jerk with force to get it to open - which probably contributed to its demise. The alarm beep was also highly annoying - very loud and long. I've never been a fan of Frigidaire products, and this experience adds to the list of reasons to never invest in one again.

Bought a new Microwave and paid to have it installed. 7 months later, it doesn't work. Frigidaire keeps sending techs out to try and fix and have probably spent more money than it costs to replace. Terrible service and cheap product. Was going to buy other new appliances to match but will not ever buy a Frigidaire product again.

I bought a Frigidaire microwave oven less than three years ago. The microwave still works fine for cooking but when it stops and I open the door to take out my food, the turntable turns and the fan is running. I don't know if it's cooking or not... not leavin' my hand in to find out! The fact it isn't working properly is not my beef. I contacted Frigidaire to find the replacement part (which I was told was a simple micro-switch) and it seems like all but four parts for that model is obsolete. The unit was manufactured Jan. 2014 and I'm told because there is not a switch unit for that model, I will have to replace the unit. It's not like it's 20 or even five years old. This was the first Frigidaire item I've purchased over my 45 years of wedded bliss and it will be the last.

I bought a Frigidaire range top microwave. It completely broke down with no warning in less than five years. I had a microwave before this one that lasted over 20 years. We are only two people in the household and don't overuse it. Some days, not at all. I think it should have lasted longer. Also, customer service offered no compensation or did anything about our complaint. WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER FRIGIDAIRE PRODUCT.

6 months after I bought my stainless steel professional microwave the sensor panel went bad. We called the repairman to come, he said he had to replace the main sensor board but accidentally broke the clip that holds it in place because it is made out of a hard plastic. Frigidaire refused to honor the warranty saying the broken clip was not covered due to negligence. Our repair guy had to fight with Frigidaire for 2 months before any parts were shipped. Eventually it was repaired, but now here I am 1 year later and the same thing is happening. We are not abusive to the machine. We use it as any other household would. And now the sensor is not operating again. I haven't yet called a repairman. Was considering a new unit, not Frigidaire. Spent way too much to purchase this lemon of a machine.

My over the stove (gallery series) microwave is only 3 years old. Only use it to heat up stuff. My problem is it looks like its 20 years old... the finish has all worn off, it shows all smudges and fingerprints and I can't get them off. I have tried everything. Does anyone know if there has been a recall?

My Frigidaire microwave is black and stainless. I love the contemporary look and this one goes well with that look and would also fit in with most styles. I have the one that goes over my stove, had it for over 5 years and it still works very well. I love the fact that I can use the timer and microwave at the same time. The price is in the medium range and the best part is it still looks like new. It is very durable, always functioned well and cleans very easily.

The size of the microwave is exactly for my food. It cost over 90 dollars and was useful for my food because almost ever I woke up late so I need my meal ready to get out and take it at work. But I would like a microwave bigger than mine because I need food for my children too. I would also like to change the appearance of microwave and the characteristics like how to warm my food and the high base of the warm.

The quality of the microwave is awesome. It looks great and looks like an awesome thing for the kitchen. I like the color and how the top looks like. The size of the microwave is huge and can fit two plates which is great and I love it. I like this size because it is more than enough for me. I love using this microwave because it does its job and it heats up the food fast. It is very durable, has great material and inexpensive.

The style of the oven makes it a wonderful appliance. It is classy, sharp looking, modern and state of the art. It is a shiny black color that resists dings, dents, and smears. It goes well with any kitchen decor and easy to clean as well. The size fits well on my countertop in the corner and it does not stick out too much. It is also large enough for big plates. It heats food evenly and I like the auto defrost feature. Its many other functions are quick defrost, as well as a popcorn and pizza button. This microwave is a very good value for the price.

Works well and has been with me since 2010. Glad it still works perfectly until now. Can't beat the price too. I got the medium size one which do almost all my cooking from breakfast, lunch to dinner. Good for all kinds of minimal cooking, baking and broiling. Just enough size because we are only 3 in the house. Also, I'm pleased with how it looks. It is very professional looking yet don't cost so much that hits your pocket. Very well made and so much feature you can be proud of. I got a black one because I think color black is not hard to keep clean. Very satisfied with how durable the microwave is for the price. It's all worth it. I would be purchasing same thing if this microwave stops working.

This Frigidaire Microwave is exceptional. It heats my food quickly. I don't have to worry about using the stove each time I need to heat something up. I love the brand because it works well for my household and I wouldn't trade it for any other brand. I also give the brand good rating when I recommend it to others. Its price is reasonable and the Frigidaire I have is mobile and easy to carry. My color of choice is black because it's easy to clean and maintain. I also like the clock and cooking timer. I am very pleased.

The price was reasonable, it's low maintenance and light weight. I have a mid-size microwave that doesn't take up a lot of space. It fits perfectly in my kitchen and pairs perfectly with my other appliances. It comes in a variety of sizes ranging from compact to family sized. The cooking tray is large enough to hold several items at once.

I got the Frigidaire Microwave for a good price that I purchased from Target. I would purchase again if I needed a new one. It was a good value for what I bought. I've used it multiple times heating everything from cold food to heating up drinks like tea and soup. It's also a good size. I put in on an area in my kitchen specifically for a microwave. We've had this microwave for over 5 years with daily use and it works. Functionality is easy to get used to and options are clear. Only drawback is I wish there was a way to change the strength of the power. Normal items for daily use fit in nicely but I wish it was a little bit wider to accommodate a popcorn bag. It fits and cooks but it gets stuck and no longer spins around about halfway through. The microwave is made of stainless steel and has a large glass front to ensure cooking time. Stainless steel appliances are great and it matches the look of other appliances in the kitchen. Compared to the other brands, it is relatively cheap for the functionality and look. Clean up is easy and simple to take apart to clean all the pieces.

When I use this microwave to defrost the meat it's very efficient because it doesn't cook partially the meat, it defrost in an even way. That is very important to me because is very nasty to see a meat partially cooked before you actually prepare the meal. It has an affordable cost, an acceptable design and it's durable, too. It's also easy to clean because of its interior design. The size is very appropriate for different kitchens sizes, as well. It is not too large or too small although you can find many sizes. Also, the colors matches any kind of kitchen. However for the appearance, maybe they can include features that are more round for the handle. Another thing is about color, you can include matte black microwaves or even shiny ones.

When we first got our Frigidaire, I thought the value was a little too high. Once buying and using it, I can see that it was well worth the price. Wish that it was a bit better at times, but it gets the job done. When it comes to defrosting certain things, I wish it was bigger. But the size is perfect for the spot that we have it and perfect height for the the kids to be able to reach. I also love the color because it blends so well with my kitchen. While I thought my microwave was really good price wise, it could be a little cheaper at value. I paid a pretty penny but the light bulb had to be replaced. Nevertheless, it made space in the kitchen and heated my food well. I love it a lot. Also, I like how the paint on the microwave was a beautiful color. It was black and shiny. Great buttons. Moreover, the size was perfect. It was not too big but still good enough to fit my plate of food in.

We purchased a Frigidaire FGMV174KFC over the range microwave when we remodeled our kitchen in 2013. A few weeks ago it all of a sudden quit heating. Their service told me it was probably the magnetron and it would be cheaper to buy a new one than fix it. They would give me no compensation whatsoever since it was out of warranty. I never expected for this microwave to be trashed in three years. It cost us over $250 new - not like it was a cheap on the counter microwave. Oh and no authorized service people in my area either. I am very disappointed in their product and their unwillingness to help out financially. Had to buy a new microwave and hire a carpenter to install it since the new one didn't fit where the old one did. Don't plan to buy any more Frigidaire junk appliances.

I like the settings and size of the microwave. It does its job beautifully and is quite stylish. The microwave is beautiful, but when closing the door it feels and sounds "tinny." I ordered the built-in surround, but when I viewed it, it looked cheap so I returned it. But the size of the microwave is perfect and it works very well. It does everything I need.

We remodeled our kitchen about 12 years ago. All of the appliances were from the Frigidaire Gallery Series. We had to replace the dishwasher three times (the third time we moved to another brand). A month ago, our third Gallery Series microwave stopped working. Our experience is that the Frigidaire Gallery microwaves last 3-4 years. I can't find our documents, but I'm certain this one is less than three years old. At this price more, I think they should last longer. Over the years, we've contacted Frigidaire a couple of times. Their basic response is; "oh, we're sorry you aren't happy"... I think the last time our dishwasher went out, they offered us $50 towards a new one.

We've had far too many repair bills for a six-year-old microwave oven. The main problem we've had is having had to replace the touchpad several times during the period we've owned it. Compared to an older machine by another manufacturer with manually set controls, which is still serviceable and functioning after seventeen years, this one has cost dearly.

I think I would be lost without a microwave in the household. I love the way I can hit one, two or three and get that many minutes. It works great and would recommend it to everyone.

Have not had any problems. Cooks evenly. This microwave fits about stove. Very convenient. Large size to fit many dishes. Is stainless steel. Very easy to clean. Watts are strong for cooking many different dishes, frozen foods, popcorn, defrost. If I had to buy another microwave I would choose Frigidaire.

Oven/Microwave Model FGMC2765PFE. After having this oven in my home I realized a gap just outside and below the microwave would be impossible to clean. Food will definitely drip and fall into this space. I brought it to the attention to Frigidaire, but they didn't feel it was a problem. They offered NO FIX for this defect. They told me I could use a vacuum or paper towels to clean spills, or EVEN CALL A SERVICE MAN! Food falling into this will attract roaches and ants. I guess I will have to return this oven. I will NEVER buy a Frigidaire product again!

For a simple Microwave issue, it triggers the circuit break, but not 100% replicable, so all service guys came over 5 times, claimed no problem, and misled me to find an electrician. After the electrician came asserted that the wires and breaks were fine. Frigidaire still insisted there is no problem, only one of the service guy took away the microwave, found the problem, and replaced the part, but still not fixed. These days I told the service it turn out the microwave malfunctioned, they send another engineer came, but still not replicated the issue, so claim no problem again.

I bought this model because it was a companion to my stove. I have had it for exactly 3 years. The stainless steel handle gets very hot and I really don't like the way you must use the preference key to do functions other than warming food. Last night the top portion of the microwave went on fire. No one was using it. It burned through my wooden cabinets and the fire dept was called. Thank God I had not gone to bed yet. I will not replace with a Frigidaire.

I bought my home in 2013. All of the appliances were Frigidaire stainless and came with the home. I have original sales records dated 4/24/2012. I replaced the refrigerator in 2015 and the microwave this year. I have had the repair man here for the dishwasher. JUNK at a steep price in my opinion. Granted they are the low end of the line but I do not use them all that often. Be warned.

Extremely disappointed with my Frigidaire countertop microwave oven. Purchased January 2013. Microwave oven stopped working July 2016. I really expected microwave oven to last longer than 3 years. I always felt Frigidaire products were good quality. Plan to order Panasonic microwave to replace my Frigidaire microwave.

We purchased from Lowe's Frigidaire Gallery stainless steel dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator and stove July of 2012. We already had to have the freezer repaired at $160.00. Now our microwave does not work. I called repair shops and they recommended buying new microwave because of service call, and parts and labor cost. I would not suggest the Frigidaire line of appliances. I will be replacing our appliances as they go out but it will not be Frigidaire line. I didn't think I would have issues with items only being three years old. Thank you and hope this helps the next person looking to purchase appliances.

We replaced the motor in the dishwasher. The front right burner on the slide in stove has burnt the hairs off my arm twice and when you go near the stove you bump the controls and gas fumes just blow out into the room. We have had two repair companies out. The first one says it is a defect. The second one says that this is a known problem and refuses to come back. We are having a third company come out 7/11 but we already know it is a defect. Frigidaire is just making us jump through hoops. We even had to have the gas company out to prove that the correct amount of gas pressure is being delivered to the house.

We purchased this microwave 3 1/2 years ago for our vacation home. We come here a collective 6 weeks out of each year for the past 3 years. Recently using the microwave on convection, the inside glass shattered and started to melt (mind you it takes glass 1350 degrees to melt). We were shocked that a microwave set on 350 degrees convection could melt glass.

Plastic door handle is chipping and cracking where it connects to door. Door around handle connection point cracking also. Only 2 years old. Receives light use by 64 yr old woman who lives alone, so hasn't been abused. Customer service won't replace the door or handle, but will sell me a new one for $200.00. Really??? Says it's out of warranty. I suggest you buy a different brand!!! This brand is garbage and I'll NEVER BUY or recommend FRIGIDAIRE again. What a piece of junk!

Called to get a microwave replaced and they do nothing but give a runaround! I did everything they asked of me and will not do the right thing on their part! I had to send them the model number sticker certified mail... A lousy $100 micro turned into a $105 micro and they still want more info sent to them! I flat out refuse!!! JUST SEND ME THE GIFT CARD ALREADY. IT'S BEEN THREE MONTHS!!!
