Broiler went out after 10 years, and automatic clean. Burner ring does not cover pan bottom, so foods heat unevenly. Surface difficult to clean. This is a low end range, and isn’t aesthetically pleasing to the eye or long lasting.

Stove has an issue with the stove top burners stopping working and the burners on the gas range aren't very well protected from cooking spills like other new models. The oven doesn't stay heated evenly at all. The stove knobs don't stay aligned properly with the gas level they release after about 2 years. Definitely need an update on these stoves that deals with these issues as well as the cheap plastic knobs. The vent for the oven is also not in the best of locations if you are cooking on the stove top while the oven is going, it heats up the pan handles because it vents the heat right at them. Definitely need to work on this brand's design!

Both back burners are very small. Perhaps one small and one medium sized burner in the rear. Could use another dual burner in the right front. The bottom drawer is very hard to open and prone to get off track. Needs a better track and handle.

I like my stove and oven, really glad that it's gas not electric, gas heats up a lot faster. The only thing I wish the oven would do is heat up a little faster, seems to take a while to reach the temperature that I set it for. The stove is not new so that could be the reason but I'm not planning on buying a new one for awhile but that's okay for now.

I am reviewing the Frigidaire gas range. This is an excellent product for baking and frying and it's self-cleaning. Gas is great to use for cooking because you can regulate the heat and if you use cast iron this can be very useful. Baking is a piece of cake (no pun intended). The quality of the range is excellent but I have only had it for a few weeks. I didn't give it 5 stars because the manufacturer's customer service is problematic.

Well this oven looks great and has quality grates that baked on. The control panel is very easy to operate and it has a quick bake button to speed up the baking. The timer is convenient and beeps when ready. There is a light in the oven that turns on when you open the door, also the light has a separate button. The burners work well to cook foods and so on. The oven grates turned from their original chrome. And I replaced 3 oven igniters in nine years. Overall we are happy with our Frigidaire oven.

It may be unsafe. Surface of entire stove heats up when a burner on. Finish is awful, easily stained. One burner fell apart. The stove is probably 3 years old. One vent for the oven to the surface fell off. It is self-cleaning but I'm afraid to turn on heat that high give the shoddiness of this stove. I fear my stove!

Overall it works well. It is a Natural gas or LP gas range that cooks fast. It does take a long to pre-heat. I had to adjust the internal gas valve for LP gas. The stove top cooks very fast but it is almost impossible to simmer a large pot of sauce as it will boil on the smallest burner and lowest flame. I take one grill from an unused burner and carefully place it on top of the smallest burner grill and put my pot of sauce on it. Simmers fine on the lowest flame.

It all started when my counter top stove began showing signs of catastrophic failures. So after searching options on the internet. I found my new counter top stove on AMAZON. I placed my order with ease. And it arrived extremely well packaged. Preventing any damage by our "great" delivery services. Once it arrived. I was able to install it with minor counter mods. Since the counter is originally sized from 1957 sized stove tops. And updating & installing an electric junction box required now. Not required in 1957. After all said & done. I am very happy with my Frigidaire Gallery 5 Burner Stove. I do recommend it.

This is a perfectly fine basic range oven. There are five burners, automatic lighting, with different heat intensities, easy to clean for spills, glass door, oven light, meat thermometer, grill, warming drawer, self cleaning, white gloss surface.

The oven in white is a difficult appliance to clean and keep clean. The stovetop stains easily after spills or even simple preparation. I use a baking soda mix with water to remove stains but it is an intense workout. The grill plates also stain and are difficult to clean. The glass door on the oven has similar issues and the self clean setting does not do the job. I have been shopping for a replacement appliance as the range is no longer working. What a mess!

Range and oven work great! Sleek style and easy to operate. I have a 5 burner gas range/oven and like it a lot. I also like the convection or quick bake option. The front of the oven doesn't get hot which is nice if you have kids at home. Overall, the unit looks nice with the stainless steal/black coat cooktop combo. Cons: The black cook top (range) shows EVERYTHING after you cook. I can scrub and clean and it never seems to look fully clean.

This Frigidaire model is a gas range, 5 burner convection oven. Bakes evenly, has quick boil & simmer burners, oven pre-heats quickly and has duel self-cleaning features. One of the best features to me was that the top burners would continue to work if power went out. I researched many models and read many reviews before deciding on this Frigidaire model. I have had this range for almost a year without any issues. This was a replacement for a 3 year old Kenmore that was plagued with ignition issues. Every 6 months it needed to be repaired, which eventually became unacceptable.

Beautifully designed and works great. Love the cooktop surface because the grates cover 100% of the top and there is no interruption or catches when you slide a pan from one burner to another. The Oven's racks slide in and out easily. The burners on the stove light right away and the flame is hot (sometimes medium is more like low on other stoves). It came well packaged without any damage or scratches to the stainless steel finish.

I purchased a Frigidaire gas stove model FCRG3015AWB online from Lowe's. After it was installed I noticed shiny metal flakes on the floor or on the counter. I didn't think much of it. I thought someone in my house was using glider. We use the oven to store pot and pans... It turned out when we removed the pots and pans to bake the chrome from the oven racks would peel off and fall on the pots and pans and then fall on the floor or end up on the counter. I was very upset when I saw that and drove to Lowe's in Gilroy Ca with the racks to show them the problem. My mom uses it more than I so did she make something with those pots or pans with chrome flakes in it? I don't know... Most likely she did... I hope Lowe's contacts Frigidaire and they fix this issue ASAP... Lowe's Manager did give me oven racks from a floor model that were good.

I purchased a suite of Frigidaire kitchen appliances. Immediately, we noticed that the gas range knobs, if bumped inadvertently, will allow gas to flow without the ignition being triggered. This has happened many times - literally every week - when merely brushing it when walking past or leaning against it to access the microwave. If unnoticed, the room fills with gas. This is an EXTREMELY DANGEROUS CONDITION and, according to product reviews, is experienced by many customers.
Frigidaire and their appliance servicemen refuse to acknowledge the problem. When Michael’s Appliance came out to inspect and I refused to take “no problem” for an answer, he went to his truck and got a device that senses gas. I duplicated the slight turn of the knob and we waited a few seconds. Just as he said “See, I told you there’s no gas!” the light went on indicating gas was detected. I said “Look! It detected gas!” The repairman said “No, it’s residual gas from previous attempts” [to demonstrate the problem]. I said that if there was that much residual gas it would have lit up immediately and asked him to repeat the test again.
HE REFUSED TO RETEST THE STOVE FOR A GAS LEAK. He then said he had another appointment, his company was calling him and had to leave. He told me he was reporting to Frigidaire that there was no problem. I told him that was not accurate and he said I could call Frigidaire if I disagreed. He was dismissive and clearly not interested in accurate diagnosis of the problem. Do not purchase this gas range. It is a defective design, will endanger anyone living in your home and could result in life threatening, unintended combustion and possible death from gas inhalation.

Stove was delivered brand new yesterday. Hooked up last night. I went through the initial baking process this morning (350 for 1/2 an hour). This afternoon I made brownies (350 for 1/2 an hour). Then this evening I put a pork roast in (I start at 450 for half an hour and then drop temp to 325 till cooked). I got 20 minutes in on my 450 degree first stage when I heard a loud pop. I looked over and the inside glass had shattered. Not a fan of the burner knobs as they turn way too easy and there was an annoying quiet electrical hum coming from the oven control panel. Lowes is exchanging this stove but at this point I question if I want to even get another of the same model.

We bought this range online, mainly from the photos and description. And we were willing to pay considerably more for the "Professional Series" line because we thought it was the top of the line commercial quality. Also thought that because it had knobs for the oven, instead of an electronic panel, the oven was manually operated like the burners - so less possible problems. We were so wrong.
The knobs are connected to an electronic brain which did not work properly from the beginning. The convection fan would not come on either. A technician came out and replaced the fan. I asked about the electronics, but he said the panel was fine. Another issue was the flimsy lower drawer. It is extremely poorly made, very lightweight. A useless piece of junk. It is incapable of storing pots & pans, and never fit right on its tracks. The technician tried to fix it, but he could not. It is still cockeyed. We had to have a technician come out again because the fan stopped working. This time he checked the panel and sure enough, it was not working. So he said he would order another and come back out. He also could not make the bottom door fit correctly.
A third service call resulted in a new electrical panel, but the fan still needed to be replaced. The technician came back out and replaced it - but the convection feature of the oven still does not work right. The fan comes on at odd times when the convection feature is turned off. And when it is turned on, the fan never comes on.
Another poor design element is the vent holes above the oven door and directly below the burners where liquids can easily splash, and they do, onto the oven door and into those vents. Once in the vents, the liquids run down over the inside of the glass window. The problem is, you cannot get inside the door to clean the window - so you are stuck with a stained window that you cannot do anything about.
Finally, the lettering on the oven knobs panel above the burners started coming off about a year ago just after the initial warranty ended (thank God we bought an extended warranty). The lettering and numerals look like they are just rub-on lettering like you can buy at a craft store. And because the panel is right above the gas burners, it is no wonder they are burning off from the heat. At this rate, within another year the lettering and numerals will be completely gone in a year and we will just have to guess what the knobs are pointing to. When I called Frigidaire customer service, they said the panel and the letters and numbers are not covered by the warranty - but that they could sell me a new one! You have been warned.

We had a bad experience with a Frigidaire wall oven many years ago so when the salesman suggested this gas range we were hesitant. We should have done our research then and are just as angry with ourselves as we are with Frigidaire. The first service call occurred only weeks after installation because it shut itself off while cooking the Thanksgiving turkey. I instead of dinner at 5pm, we dined at 7:30!
Fortunately, we had the foresight to purchase an extended warranty at that time because this appliance has a myriad of issues ranging from shutting itself off, burners having to cool off between uses in order to reignite, control knobs that are easily turned on accidentally, etc. Now after our 7th service call, we are biting the bullet and having a Samsung range (very good Consumer Reports’ review) installed and this unusable 16 month old Frigidaire hauled away. We won’t even donate it because it has a long list of caveats about the control panel and how to use the appliance functions. In short, don’t buy one.

We purchased a 2nd Frigidaire Gallery wall oven in March 2019. The first one had arrived seriously damaged and unrepairable. Since installation the oven has never pre-heated to the correct set temperature and during baking the temperature varies by about 40 degrees as measured by a calibrated electronic thermometer. In mid-November 2019 I requested service and the technician said it "might be a defective probe" which he offered to replace. We agreed to try that, he ordered and received a replacement probe. When he tried to replace the probe he tried to pull it out into the oven but determined that he was unable to access the area of the oven necessary to disconnect it without removing it from the cabinet and said that would require an assistant. He offered to come back. Upon my request, he checked to be sure the oven was working and could be used although the temperature would probably be as it has been since purchase.
The next day I pre-heated the oven to 450 to bake bread but it took over an hour to pre-heat and the temperature was EXTREMELY high and the entire oven and cabinet was very hot. When I removed the bread pan it burned the hot pads in my hands and they then burned black the bamboo trivet where I sat them to cool. The oven was clearly far above 450 as the internal thermometer needle was pinned above 600! The original service provider (Champlain Appliance) called to say they would not service the appliance. The dealer (Brook Valley) tried to arrange service through Frigidaire but they have not called or made any arrangements for service. After more that 3 weeks and MANY calls to the dealer and Frigidaire we have received no call backs, no service, and have no working oven. Is this the best that Frigidaire can provide? This looks like another nightmare story of incompetent corporate carelessness and irresponsibility.

We bought this stove four months ago and the paint on the cooktop just chips away like the paint was not cured. You can actually chip it off with your fingernail. The paint comes off when you lift the grate and the little rubber feet on the grate just pulls the paint off. It's not bad now but it is only four months. We had our last stove (different brand) for 20 years, this is not going to last two. The store we bought it from gave us the number from Frigidaire to phone and the lady said they won't do anything because it is only cosmetic??? We told them we will have to go to the next level and they basically said, "Fill your boots" and that is it. I deeply regret buying this stove. Please don't make the same mistake.

As soon as it was installed, we had to place a service call. Apparently, quality control is non-existent? It was a loose wire that hadn't been connected during manufacturing. Here we are 14 months later (mind you, I don't use the oven every day, and it's still spotlessly clean). I prepared country ribs to be baked 'low & slow', turned the oven on to 250 degrees. When it came up to temp, I put the dish in the oven for a 3 hour cook time. After 3.5 hours, found the oven had stopped firing up, and the food was cold and uncooked. Called for service (thank God I bought additional warranty on this piece of junk).
Service arrived, and ordered a new master control, saying it would arrive within a week. I had to call (not sure why), but the part arrived, and service guy showed up to replace (day before Thanksgiving - and I was cooking the meal for 14). Took the entire oven apart, only to find Frigidaire had made changes to components, and all the wiring harnesses, etc., did not match. He had to re-order the parts. This is ridiculous. I will NEVER purchase another Frigidaire product...EVER.

This range is DANGEROUS. Contacted Frigidaire. They sent out a repair person - knowing all along that this is not something that can be repaired and they have a serious design flaw/defect on this gas stove. The Appliance service person called Frigidaire while at my home. This special representative that he called basically said too bad so sad. That they changed the knob design for the elderly complaining that the knobs were too hard to turn. So this is the fix? - Are you KIDDING ME!!!! They should have never made it EASIER to turn. That is the only safety feature you have to prevent burners spewing gas into your home. All it takes is a slight touch or brush and they go to full gas spewing mode.
We just replaced all of our old Gallery (Prof Series) appliances that were 15 years old and not once did I ever think the knobs were too hard to operate. Not to mention did we ever have one of these appliances break down in 15 years. In less than one year of having these new models - I have had a repair person here over seven times for all four of these appliances.
By the looks of all these comments - I am not the only one that wants to destroy this one year old PROFESSIONAL SERIES gas stove. I would not even put it out on the street for fear someone would use again. What is it going to take for Frigidaire to recall/replace/fix these stoves? Does someone have to die or does a house have to blow up first??!!
We are looking into legal options at this point. We paid over $2000 for this stove and it is a hazard in my home. I want it out of here and scrapped. I will never buy this brand again. I will also make sure to let others know - NOT TO BUY either. IF Frigidaire keeps putting out products with these types of quality issues - not going to be around another decade.

The gas burner knobs are too large and too easy to turn on. At least four times in the last 7 months, one member of my family or myself has accidentally bumped into the gas burner knobs while walking by the stove. It's usually my wife with her purse, but any grocery bag slung over your shoulder or loose fitting piece of clothing can do it.
The knob always gets bumped into the HIGH position, but not far enough to start the igniter spark, which would make a ticking noise and alert the person that they accidentally turned on the burner. Just this morning, my wife accidentally bumped the gas burner to HIGH and left for work. I get up for work 2 hours after her, and when I did, I immediately smelled the strong odor of a gas leak, found the burner ON, and opened all the windows and doors to the house and went outside. I had to leave the poor kitties inside and hope they were OK. Yes, we're all still alive.
It's ironic, because just yesterday I bought a natural gas alarm and installed it in the laundry room next to the kitchen. It DIDN'T go off, but only because the gas levels were not dangerous yet, I think. It does work, I tested it before, but it's less sensitive than our noses to prevent too many false alarms. I definitely recommend you BUY A GAS alarm if you have this stove!
This is a deadly design flaw in the Frigidaire Gallery gas stoves. There are multiple other complaints on this site about this flaw. Frigidaire's response is to tell people to buy child-proof caps for the burner knobs! Nope. Frigidaire should have designed burner knobs that take more than a gentle breeze to turn them on high, OR made the igniter start immediately. It is shameful this is their response.
Also, there is a recall on this stove from 2012 where the over may not ignite fast enough, posing a fire/explosion hazard. Make sure you have had the recall serviced! Do not buy this stove. IF YOU HAVE ONE, REPLACE IT IMMEDIATELY, OR BUY A GAS ALARM. IT COULD SAVE YOUR LIFE. Frigidaire model LGGF3043KFM. (The model number is on a sticker in the bottom pan drawer of the stove.)

The oven (Gallery Gas Range) turned itself on. It was early a.m. and there was a burning odor. Looked around the house and saw the oven was on but the panel only indicted the clock. Pushing the cancel button did nothing. The thermometer I keep in the oven read over 500 degrees. The oven burners were going full blast. I turned the power off at the electrical panel/fuse box and the oven shut down. Called an electrician and he come immediately and checked my electrical outlets... no problem. When he plugged the range back in a tiny puff of smoke came out of the control panel. After seeing another review about the oven turning itself on I believe I will purchase a new gas range without an electronic panel, rather than chance another problem like that. Lucky that I was home. No telling if a fire might have burned my house down with my pets inside. It was a terrifying experience. I will contact the company on Monday. This happened October 26, 2018.

This gas stove is extremely easy to ignite. Everyone in the family has done it accidentally just leaning on it. In fact this stove almost cost us our house. Our dog is even able to turn on and light the burner, and did so with no one home. There were baked cupcakes cooling on top, which burned and began smoking with the burning on underneath. Thank God the fire dept responded quickly, and we only ended up with a house full of smoke.

We purchased our oven back in 2015 and since, it has broken down TWICE. I find this absolutely unacceptable. The first time was in 2016 when we had to replace the touchpad unit. That repair cost us about $300. The current issue is showing similar symptoms where the oven/broiler is not functioning. The difference, this time, seems to be that it is a gas valve problem where last time, it was the igniter.
I spoke with a woman "Jennifer", from customer service department, this evening and described our problem and my utter disappointment in this product. Her solution was to offer us a 50% discount on whatever part needed to be replaced. The problem I see, with that solution, is that the part is probably going to be $40. So for the total sum of $20, Frigidaire is attempting to purchase our continued loyalty to its inferior products. I can NOT think of anything more insulting to my intelligence, other than someone thinking that I would EVER purchase another Frigidaire product, in my lifetime.
As I explained to "Jennifer", I am a 55 year old male, who has purchase innumerable appliances, in my lifetime and have NEVER had such an atrocious experience. Suffice to say, we will be going out this weekend and purchasing a NEW stove...and it will NOT be a Frigidaire. Also, we will be notifying all our friends and family to avoid their products, in the future, as well as taking every opportunity to relay our experiences to others through social media. Purchased Frigidaire 5 Burner Gas Range, FFGF3054TD 7/3/18, install 7/22/18. Used cook top 2 days later and just a few times since installed. Extreme care needed around this range. If you bump into knobs, or like me, lean against front panel to reach cabinet above the knobs they can easily turn to on position. We have both done it, hubby is 6'3", I'm 5'3". Hubby is hearing impaired and cannot easily smell things. I have turned off back left burner and turned on front right turbo burner and the back left came back on by itself. Hubby had bumped knobs and did not hear ignition clicking. Another time he bumped and no clicking, just had smell of gas which he couldn't smell, glad I was home! I have to lean close to reach cabinet above range hood and have not felt my body turning knob on, only heard that ignitor clicking. Range knobs are only one problem.
Oven used 3 times now and each time the oven makes popping sounds, enough to make my dog bark and the other run. 1st time; oven set 375° for 45 min, then used the broiler for about 7 minutes to finish the bake. Heats up kitchen pretty good, turned oven off and noticed front panel where knobs sit was pretty warm/hot to touch. Sides of oven which fit in between cabinets were extremely warm too. 2nd time, last night oven on 425° for 40 minutes as per direction for 1 pot pie. Set timer, when done, pie crust was burnt on side closest to front oven door. Turned oven off and again noticed how hot knob panel was. Decided to get my meat probe out, pressed it tight against panel, it registered 156°. Ate my pie and noticed panel still pretty darn warm. Called hubby in to hold meat thermometer against panel so I could use cell phone camera. It registered 135° by then.
Today, used this oven for the last time!!! Set to 425° for 90 minutes. Same problems, popping and hot hot hot front knob/panel and sides. I discourage anyone to NOT USE this range or any of Frigidaire Gas Ranges. It is certainly a death trap for anyone, be it a child, small/tall person, hearing impaired, with dementia or in any cognitively impaired or inebriated persons. We purchased an entire package of Frigidaire Gallery 5 burner gas range appliances in November 2011. To date, I have had no problems with them... until now. When I was cleaning, I noticed a problem with the oven door... it seems that the seal must have broken. On the right side, it sticks out a little. I went to their website to try to buy a new door for my range... was unable to locate one. They want me to buy several pieces of glass, disassemble the door, put a new seal in... myself... to the tune of about $300. The extended warranty ran out 6 months before this happened... and I am fairly sure it happened during the self-clean mode.
I use my stove every day, and this is making me mad. I cannot afford a new one... and now, when I use the oven... it gets so hot in the kitchen, I have to open a window. It is currently 16 degrees out with a wind chill of zero. Ugh. I did very much like these, but will go up a level to the pro series next time I can afford to buy them. Very disappointed... especially as my Whirlpool range almost cost me my home! Our daughter recommended this series... just sad.

I only had one repair company available to do work under my one year warranty. That company was in another town. They told me that the second set of burners had come in and they would set up a time when the weather improved. When the weather improved they told me they had no burners and Frigidaire would not supply a second set of burners. After calling customer service, they contacted the appliance company who noted that they would not fix the burners until I had a receipt from a professional exterminator. Thus, I am required to produce this documentation.
The serviceman on his second service call did not say this to me. He said he would order the burners. Not receiving the truth from the serviceman was misleading. I have owned several stoves over 40 years and never had this problem with my smooth top stoves. The Frigidaire design with the burners is problematic. I would not recommend this product. LESS THAN A YEAR ago we purchased a Frigidaire Professional Model FPGF3077QF gas range online to replace our old Frigidaire electric range/oven/microwave from the 1970s that finally quit working except on one burner. We figured Frigidaire made exceptional products. Not anymore, apparently. The Frigidaire Professional Series range was way more expensive than others, but we were sold by how it looked, and the fact that it did not have an electronic control panel, but knobs. The first thing we noticed when the range was delivered was how flimsy the bottom drawer was. It has never hung straight, and it is so thin and weak that you cannot use it to store even one pot. It is useless.
Despite the fact that we hardly used it, within a month or so the convection fan stopped working. A serviceman came out, took the range out from the wall, took it apart and replaced the fan. He also unsuccessfully tried to fix the flimsy, cockeyed lower drawer. It still hangs crooked. Within a short while, the convection fan stopped working again, even though we almost never use it. We are having it serviced again in a week.
The black stove top porcelain finish is already badly stained and NOTHING works to clean it. It looks like crap already - and the finish is not covered by the warranty. The burners themselves are not heavy-duty or even close to commercial quality. They are the same burners they use on the low end models. And if you accidentally turn the knob past the ignition stage, the gas will just continue to pour out. If you inadvertently walked away, your entire house could fill up with gas.
As for the knobs for the oven, they are just electronic controls, subject to the same problems as electronic panels. The knobs do not operate the oven mechanically like commercial ovens - which is disappointing as the oven control knobs were why we decided to pay the steep price for this overpriced range. Our biggest fear is that when the warranty runs out, the problems will continue.

We bought a Frigidaire Professional Freestanding Convection Stainless Gas Range model number FPGF3077QB because the electronic keypad on our old GE gas range eventually gave up the ghost. We picked this model because we wanted the minimum amount of electronic keypad features. The keypad on this model has two timers, interior light pad and clock feature only. In order to use either of the timers or the clock feature, you press the + or - area of the pad and the numbers are supposed to increment one at a time initially and then by larger degrees of 5 or ten later.
The increment features never worked as designed... Regardless where or how you pressed the + or - area, the device would not work correctly and after some seconds of climbing at increments of one or sometimes 5, eventually before you reached your target the device would time out and you would need to start over. Very annoying if you were trying to set a 120 minute timer, or to set the clock after a power failure. We have this keypad replace once under warranty but the replacement is no better than the first. That whole mechanism is junk and I use my microwave timer instead and the set the time of day on my microwave.
Another feature that I did not note when I bought the range is that there is no indicator giving you the temperature of the oven. A light shows when it is heating and another when it reaches temperature but there is no indication while heating or at temperature as to what the temperature really is. Something I just assumed that modern ranges would do. I will never buy another of these.

Shocked that this multinational company places such a low level of worth on customer satisfaction.

Frigidaire Gas Range - Model BGGF3045RFC. DON'T BUY THIS STOVE OR BRAND!! The knobs and igniters turn freely without warning causing gas to escape from the burners without you even knowing. I have been woken up many nights with the smell of gas in my home. By just brushing up against or leaning on the knobs they turn at least 3/4" before the ticking warning for the "LITE" begins. When calling Frigidaire and speaking with customer service, supervisors from customer service and the corporate liaison to the CEO they all read a "scripted" so sorry there are no issues with this stove.
They seriously have no concern for the well being of my family and home and it is a "FATAL" accident waiting to happen. I have everything documented and I will bring this to the next level. Anyway - do not buy this stove or any of the stoves they offer that do not require you to push the knob before turning, it is not safe. I am disappointed in this company and stove especially because I purchased a Frigidaire because I had one for many years and was happy with it. BIG MISTAKE!!!

I like my Range and the fact that it is not all black. The white or almond top is much easier to clean and the dirt shows so much better. The backsplash is black and I would prefer it to be stainless steel or white enamel. I don't want a range with all the special bells and whistles, it is just more difficult to keep clean. I presently have a gas range and prefer it to the glass top ranges. It is easier to control the temperature when cooking.

Oven heats up in average amount of time, but always have to bake/roast much longer than recipe states. The "quick bake" seems to make no difference timewise and just makes food drier. Oven won't go below 250. Burners rarely light on 1st attempt and lowest level at times isn't low enough - food can burn.

We bought our Gas Stove (Frigidaire) Model LGGF3043KF back in September of 2015. I love the stove as far as performance but very unsatisfied with the cooktop of the stove as I cannot get it clean. I have tried everything they have suggested and nothing works. It leaves a white film on the top of the stove and it actually looks like the paint is breaking down. I called Frigidaire and they were no help at all. They said it was cosmetic and not covered. I was told that it is probably water spots and would need to buy a cleaner called Cerama Bryte. I told them I already bought and tried that and it didn't work. They came back with you bought the one for grease not water spots and I would have to pay $5.99 plus $7.00 shipping. What a bunch of crap. I will never purchase another item from this manufacturer again!!!! Lesson learned.

Frigidaire Professional Dual-Fuel Range (Gas Cooktop & Electric Oven). Model FPD83085PFB -- Purchased Fall 2014; installed Summer 2015. This is an extremely unsafe range because it allows gas to flow without igniting. This can occur when you set the burner on low and the flame goes out, which happened frequently. The gas continues to flow, and the igniters do not fire. It can also happen when one of the forward-facing knobs is accidentally nudged. The knobs are very easily nudged if, for example, you lean back against the stove (when it's off) and your bottom slightly presses on a knob. The gas will begin to flow, but the igniters do not fire. It can also happen if you turn the knob past the "Lite" position. In this case, gas flows strongly, but the igniters do not fire. (This case is less likely to cause an accident because you would usually just adjust the knob to "Off" or "Lite").
I cannot believe these ranges haven't been recalled because of this danger. In addition, the stove is a terrible performer. The burners are easily disturbed by slight air movement and are not as hot as they should be for the diameter of the burner. The knobs are sticky on turning and the burners don't increase/decrease smoothly. This review is based on a year's use by two adults who have years of experience cooking on gas ranges. There are no children in our household, so we gave the range a year trial. After multiple occasions when the first two types of failures occurred, we've finally decided that a single case where we didn't catch the failure promptly could result in injury, death or destruction of our home by fire. We are removing this range and replacing it with one that doesn't present such grave risks.

We had a Frigidaire gas stove/oven model: fgf337asa of which the oven turned on by itself. We have 2 toddlers that we were putting down for naps when the smoke alarm went off. I grabbed the fire extinguisher and went to extinguish the flames but noticed that the gas burners for the oven were lit at full power. The controls all stated that the oven was still off. I turned the oven on then off and the flames went out. I blamed my wife and she blamed me as the possibility of an oven turning on by itself seemed impossible to us.
Approx. 6 months later we were sleeping over at the parents' place for a week and my tenant calls me stating there's a fire upstairs and the fire department is on the way. It was the oven! It turned on by itself. This time we knew as no one had been home for 3 days, unless a burglar broke in, turned on the oven and fled without causing any b/e damage and without taking anything. We called Frigidaire and advised them of the danger concerning their oven and they advised that since the oven is outside of its warranty and "near or at the end of its useful life". We're in the hole for a new stove plus $2500 for a restoration company for the smoke damage. I am just glad that my kids weren't sleeping upstairs!!! SO IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS as in my opinion, Frigidaire seems think that it is okay a stove/oven past its useful life to ignite onto maximum mode spontaneously. Cheers, Shocked and unsatisfied, ex-customer.

Frigidaire Gas Range model# LGGF3043KFT. I thought I was buying one of the top of the line ranges. Trouble from the start. Front right burner will burn someone to death one day. Its flame shoots out way too high. Had it adjusted twice by a service man and was finally told, "That's the way it's made". The knobs turn on if you slightly push against them (when I’m reaching above my stove to the microwave). Very much a hazard and lastly the oven bottom door is not closing straight. It bulges out in one corner. They refuse to fix it under my warranty stating it was "cosmetic". Not what they use to be... Sad. Really surprised they haven't been sued yet on safety issues.

So the propane company tested the gas pressure in the line to the oven. It wouldn't hold pressure so they disconnected and plugged the line and it held pressure. They reattached to the stove and it wouldn't hold pressure. No cooking or more propane until the leak is fixed. Frigidaire says all gas appliances leak to a small degree. The propane company can't refill the tank due to laws to protect me. Now, I have a $1000 stainless steel paperweight in my kitchen. I can't use it at all. Both the propane company (bound by law) and the appliance company (bound by money) are leaving my family out in the cold. How can they do this? The repair company didn't take anything apart just passed this magic marker looking thing over the burners and in the oven - no leaks. You're on your own. What am I to do?

I bought this stove, Frigidaire gas range, model BGGF3045RFA, a year ago and just got around to installing after finishing remodeling of my kitchen. On the first day of use, my 2-year old grandson slightly turned one of the gas control knobs on the front of the range turning the gas on to the burner, but not igniting it. I started to smell gas and went to investigate and found the knob was slightly ajar. Then, later in the same day, my wife used the overhead microwave and bumped one of the gas control knobs just enough to turn the gas on. Again, she didn't notice until I smelled gas in the living room. This is very scary. I will be calling Frigidaire, but others seem to have already and have had not resolve. I immediately went to Home Depot and bought child-proof knob covers. Hopefully this will prevent mistaken knob turning. Frigidaire needs to fix or recall these stoves.

I thought it must have been a fluke, but now it's happened again for no rhyme or reason. I was just cooking and a big pop which shattered the whole cooktop. I see others have had the same issue with no resolve. I will be taking knobs off the front and only put on when I am using the stove. Thank goodness nothing horrible happened but I could have lost my son, my dog and my entire house. Shame on Frigidaire for not resolving this very dangerous issue which they have been made aware of for years. Wish I would have seen these reviews prior to making my decision to buy this stove. We bought the Frigidaire Gallery 30" freestanding smooth cook top, full touch panel range (FGEF3056KF) back in March of 2010. We just had the touch panel replaced for the FOURTH time, this time along with other components due to them melting together after it arched, in total over $700 in repairs this time. But without fail the touch panel has shorted out ever 14-18 months! This last time being the worst with the arching and melting. Seriously scared to have this thing in my home!
The first two repairs were done under our Best Buy warranty, and the last two have been done under the extended warranty we bought through Frigidaire (best $190 ever spent!!!), thankfully this warranty will go until mid 2018, during which this panel should short out again, and since that will be the third time under 'this' warranty they 'might' just replace the whole unit!!! We paid right around $1100 for this unit in 2010, and thankfully warranties have paid over $2000 in repairs in the past 6 years... DO NOT BUY this range... But if you must, get the warranty!!! And always stay near it when running... Maybe even flip the circuit at night and when you're not home!!!

I specifically bought this gas convection oven with a baking drawer to have gas stove and a secondary stove drawer for baking additional items from the convection main oven. THIS OVEN IS NOT SAFE, DO NOT BUY!! 1. The gas controls are easily turned on/open gas to your house by slightly bumping into them, since they are located in the front and not more resistant to a controlled intentional "turn on." 2. It vents the extremely hot air from the oven into the house from a vent just below the controls on the back of the oven, if not careful while using the oven, you can be burned.
I called Frigidaire to make sure the installers did not miss some venting for the oven and they told me know, it was specifically designed that way, basically there is nothing you can do. I have a very good vent hood on top of the stove, but it cannot take out all the 400 degree heated air coming out. Very bad design!! FRIGIDAIRE SHOULD RECALL THIS OVEN AND REPLACE, SOMEONE'S HOUSE WILL BURN DOWN FROM THIS AND/OR SUFFER A SEVERE BURN.

I was always smelling gas so I had the gas company come out to check it and they found a crack in the pipe that leads into the back of the stove so I was brought a new stove and a gas odor was still prevalent. I finally called an outside plumber and I was shown where the gas was leaking so I had that fixed from my own pocket. Frigidaire 4 Burner Gas Stove - It was on "sale" and a floor model was the reason for purchase. The reputation was a factor but we had never had a Frigidaire stove only having had their air conditioners and refrigerators. The price was good as it was a "floor model", but the color, black, was not the first preference and the controls for the oven are on the back-splash and require reaching over the burners to turn it on and set the temps etc. Some of the LED's stopped working in the read-out for the oven temps but it remains usable despite their failures. It was purchased from H.H. Gregg, which seems to sell products and models that, for some reason, have not sold elsewhere.
As style is basically "meaningless", having a safe, durable, and reliable product was foremost in our investment. As the the black color shows every speck of dust it would not be a first choice for future purchases. And after only a few uses, the plastic overlay for the "touch controls" on the backsplash wrinkled from the heat from the oven which is vented just below it. This may have precipitated the LED failure in the oven temp readout. As stated previously, having to reach over the four burners to adjust the oven controls when setting the timer and temps seems unsafe for obvious reasons. As most ovens, one must adjust the desired temps to those indicated to assure accuracy which comes from frequent use.

Frigidaire Professional Series. I like the appearance. The stainless steel and black are very attractive in my kitchen. I like that it has 5 burners which is helpful since I cook so much. Having different burners such as the Power Plus and Simmer is great to cook on. Unfortunately, I have had problem with the burners igniting since I first purchased the range. After 2 visits from a technician they felt there was no problem to be found, yet a few years later, still have problems regularly with the burners. If I have one burner on most times a second burner will not initially ignite. It will take me several tries to turn it on. Also the oven temperature isn't consistent and have already had to replace the element after only a couple of years of use.
What I've learned through the years is to ask service technicians their opinions on which appliances require the most, or least, service. Quality is number one and an attractive appliance with a lot of features does no good if it doesn't work properly or needs constant repair. I don't mind paying more as long as the quality is there. I'm also not interested in too many accessories that I would never use. For instance, my current range has a warming oven that I only use for storage. I paid more for something I have no intention of using. Overall, I'm very dissatisfied with Frigidaire ranges. I also own an electric oven in our vacation home and continue to have heating problems as well as a problem with the seal on the window in the door. I would not recommend their ranges or ovens and in the future would most definitely choose GE or a different manufacturer.
