I purchased a Frigidaire gas range a month ago. It has never worked correctly. I have had four service appointments with technicians, two of which I had to take a day off of work to be there. It still does not work. They have replaced both the thermostat and the control board. It still does not work. On the latest service call, the technician simply said that "it's not supposed to work that way" referring to what the manual says it should do. Because he marked the issue as "resolved" customer service says the only way they can do anything is to send out a fifth technician to diagnose the problem.
When I call them to get an update or to complain that the problem is still not solved, I am placed on hold for hours at a time. I am promised calls back, which do not happen. I am now being told that since I filed a BBB complaint, they will only deal with me through the BBB, but they are painfully slow in responding to the BBB. I am stuck with an oven that doesn't work properly, customer service that won't help me, and no options for returning the item to the retailer.

Ordered a gas cooktop and paid for installation. After three delivery dates were delayed, they finally showed up and just wanted to drop it off and run. NO INSTALLATION as promised and paid for. I no longer have faith in the Frigidaire brand. Never again.

I purchased a gallery stove and refrigerator in 2022, since then I have had nothing but issues with the stove (model #GCRG3060AFD). The latest, same issue three years in a row, is that I can't clean the stove without an error F090 internal locking mechanism issue. I called once again and was told, once again, I need to pay for this because it is out of warranty... even though it is a recurring issue. I am not pleased and wish I would never I have purchased it.

Be aware that this manufacturer isn't going to make you feel good about your purchase. I purchased a Frigidaire gcfg3060bfb stove from Home Depot four months ago on a holiday sale. Right from initial install the product locked out and shot an error code. I made the mistake of calling Frigidaire tech support over a holiday weekend thinking it was something silly. Was not able to get through due to holiday. That Monday I called again and they weren’t able to solve the problem. The code isn’t even one for a stove. By the time I got that info it was passed the exchange period for Home Depot. Over the last four months we have scheduled six appointments for Electrolux to fix the problem. The first two we stayed home for 8 hours only to be stood up with out a phone call they next four were failed attempts to repair the unit with new parts.
We have spent countless hours on the phone only to be given the run around about them not being able to authorize a replacement or even being able to get us in contact with the division who can. Four months later and still can’t use oven. The product may be ok but haven’t had a good one to make an educated judgement. My recommendation is think about purchasing a product from them beforehand. If there is an issue you may end up in the same boat as me. Worst customer service I have ever experienced and that says a lot because I am a service manager.

Our new MF home came with new Frigidaire appliances. Our range (fcrg3015abb) started to shut off if we set the clock and wouldn't allow us to use the oven as the gas valve is controlled through it. We just quit using the clock. Then while making a holiday meal the center pane of glass exploded. My wife attempted to save our meal and since the door needs the weight of the glass to stay open it popped up an burned her wrist. They sent a repairman out who informed me that Frigidaire is now garbage. He replaced the glass and control board in April 24. July 27 2024 the new control board failed.
I contacted frigidaire and was told that it's out of warranty and they won't stand behind their product. Customer service is just a call center in India. This thing is just a fire hazard. Frigidaire is a dead company that will not stand behind its products and became belligerent with my wife on the phone and hung up on me. I can guarantee my family and friends will never purchase another Frigidaire product.

We purchased a gas range Model FCRG3015AWB in January 2023. By September, the front right jet was not lighting automatically. A BBQ lighter was needed to get a flame. A technician was sent to the house. He blew out the ignition switch and said it was working but if we had any further problems he will note the file for Frigidaire to cover the ignition switch even if it was out of warranty. Of course, this week in July 2024, it will not light again. Their technician should have replaced it last year and did not. Neither did he annotate the file for Frigidaire. So, when we called to have that defective ignition switch replaced, they referred us to Total Appliance Service who came last September. Total Appliance Service said they would not honor the repair which they said would be over $400. That’s half the price of a new stove!
When we called back Frigidaire, they said the same thing as the first time and refused to give the call to a supervisor. We were told to call back and ask for a supervisor. What? Why would we do that when we were already on the line with Frigidaire? This is a disgrace! A brand new stove has a jet go out in under a year and now we can’t have it replaced after their repairman told us it would be. This is our last Frigidaire appliance.

I bought a gas range in June 2023. The oven has never worked correctly, it's always 25-50 degrees off at most settings. There has been 5 service calls. Frigidaire was contacted by the service tech, they replaced the thermostat 2x, and said it could not be fixed and it should be replaced. I contacted Frigidaire and was told they had sent an order to a Lowe's, not where I bought it, in another state, for me to pick up an new stove and I should pay for it on MY credit card and they would reimburse me. Contacted appliance manager at Lowe's. He got the email and said it looked more like a scam, everything about the order was wrong, I agreed. Contacted Frigidaire again customer service said they would straighten it out and I would get a new stove. (This was in May 2024.) I made sure they had both my home number and cell number to contact me for delivery. So far, I have only received offers to buy an extended warranty. It is now July of 2024.

The Tech has been out and deemed the oven is working as designed. Which means Frigidaire intentionally designed the stove to blow hot air into the home from the vent in the middle of the cooktop. When I say hot air, I mean temp gauge was placed at the point of vent and air was recorded at a temperature of 390 degrees. Blowing into the kitchen. For the whole time the oven is on. And then continues to blow hot air for another 30 minutes after the oven is turned off. So hot in the kitchen the smoke/heat alarm activated. Blower fan is so loud it's hard to talk over the sound of it blowing. We are so disappointed in Frigidaire I want to just take it to their factory and sit it on their curb. Never again Frigidaire, never again.

I bought a new Frigidaire gas cooktop from Lowe's and it was missing one of two brackets that secure the cooktop to the counter. The first call I made said they would do anything until I registered the product with a serial number. I registered the product using the QR code that came with the unit. I called back and they said it they had no record of the registration and wasn't a valid serial number. It was the serial number on the QR code. They hung up on me. I went online and registered it manually. Called back and they said I had to wait 48 hours and hung up on me again.

This is in Los Angeles, CA. I purchased a stove/oven 3 years ago. The oven bake function stopped working but the broiler worked. I reported this problem to Frigidaire & paid them to diagnose the problem. They sent a guy named Andre who said the thermostat wasn't working. I bought a new one, installed it myself & the oven still didn't bake. I called Frigidaire again. Regretfully, I didn't get the person's name. He told me they would send another technician who would fix the oven for free. Not only did they NOT do that but they sent the same technician who said it was now a different problem (he reported the broiler didn't work). This was false.
I called again Friday, March 15, 2024 & spoke to a supervisor named Don. He said he'd review the recorded phone call and call me back. He didn't do so. I called 3 more times and spoke with Jim, Gwen, Selena. They all gave me excuses. Don't trust a thing they say. They are dishonest & try to find anyway to shift blame to to customers. They NEVER CALL BACK!

You cannot simmer (only boils - so no rice, no sauce - nothing that must simmer). The back right corner of the oven burns the cookies while in the front left corner the cookies are not done. The vendor is willing to send an endless stream of "technicians" who will all report there is nothing wrong. The work-arounds that you will have to live with are - keep adding water and stirring the pots that will not simmer and keep moving the and spinning the cookie sheets in the oven and halfway through flip the cookies over like pancakes.

If I could give them a negative rating I would! I purchased a new home and the builder used all Frigidaire appliances. One of the gas ranges won't light so I called to get a service technician out to repair/fix the problem. Once the customer service representative picked up I couldn't hear her questions because of a rooster crowing loudly in the background. When I asked what the noise was the rep confirmed it was her neighbor's rooster! I proceeded to try to get the call completed but her accent was very thick causing me to ask if she could repeat herself over and over again. She took payment from me because they couldn't locate a service warranty and informed me that a service technician would be out that Friday between 8-12pm.
Once Friday arrived I took the day off work and by 12:30pm NO TECHNICIAN. I called and was told he would be arriving between 12-5pm. By 5pm NO TECHNICIAN! At 5:01 I called customer service and got the same representative with the LOUD rooster crowing in the background. She rescheduled me and told me the service tech was rescheduled for Monday. Monday came and you guessed it NO SERVICE TECH! I called my bank immediately and disputed the charge. At this point I don't know who is running Frigidaire but all your service calls are being forwarded to a Middle Eastern area with crowing roosters. DON'T BUY!

The stove, oven, and air fryer features all work fine, and the range is attractive. The knobs, however, require very little manipulation to turn the gas on. I've had this product for about two months, and my CAT has turned the gas on twice. Another time I turned it on just by leaning against the range to wipe the back of it. Now I remove the knobs when the range is not in use, which is annoying, but I don't want to die in my sleep.

I bought a new oven two years ago, it was a gas oven from Frigidaire that had a small gas explosion after about 6 months of use. I was nearby when this happened and luckily had stepped away to grab my phone as it blew. The pressure build up on the element I was using, not only crushing the griddle, but sent the pan into the steel vent we also bought with this oven and left a 8 inch long by almost 1 inch deep dent, and then proceeded to hit and leave a mark on our ceiling.
I immediately got someone to help me move the oven and disconnect it from the gas. I had to call both Warners' Stellian and Frigidaire multiple times and got a new oven after about a month. Over a year later, they have still have not replaced the vent and keep playing games with me -- Warners' Stellian keeps saying I have to talk to Frigidaire and Frigidaire keeps telling me I have to talk to Warner Stellian. Every time I see the dent in the vent I keep thinking how that could have been my face if I had not decided to grab my phone real quick. I'm done with both of them.

I did a lot of research and liked the features of the oven. It was a convection oven and air fryer and looked great at about $750. Well, it has never worked properly. The display panel changes to 6's when the oven is heating up and while on. Sometimes it randomly shuts off. A few times, it wouldn't shut off and had to be unplugged. A gas range had to be pulled away from the wall while on to be unplugged. I had a repair person out THREE TIMES and they replaced the display panel all three times, even though I told them that there was more to it. Now Frigidaire says it's out of warranty. THEY NEVER FIXED THE PROBLEM IN THE FIRST PLACE! I will NEVER buy Frigidaire again!

I previously had a Frigidaire Gallery Series Gas range that lasted 10 years. Never had a problem with it, so when it needed to be replaced I went with the upgraded Frigidaire Gallery Series Gas range with Air Fryer option. Purchased on 8/4/22, delivered 8/6/22. This unit is only 2 months old. Have had to make several calls & several repair service calls made. When using air fryer option the oven will continue to keep heating up and to dangerous levels. (Repair guy tested the unit: When set to 425° the oven will keep heating up to 583° and possibly higher if he didn't turn the unit off. (It's called a run away at this point.)
I found out this has been an ongoing issue that Frigidaire is & has been aware of and they have not sent out service bulletins or done a recall. So anyway the repair guy came yesterday to install new: control panel, control module and thermostat. But when he tested it on air fryer option the temperature kept going again. So he called their technician support line and did find out from the master repair technician that they came up with a shield they think will fix the problem. So here I wait yet again..
This oven is NOT safe! It could have burnt my house down. Their customer service is horrible! All they say is "I'm sorry ma'am, once the repairs are made it should be fine, but you (me) have to allow them the time to have repair done". When I ask to speak with a supervisor, they tell me they will follow-up with me & forward everything to their Master Repair Technician. But they never follow up with me. In fact I have call them, get the run around and hung up on by their so called supervisors. I also can NOT find any way to contact someone of power like VP, PRESIDENT OR CEO. How can a company, that knows they have a dangerous product out there in people's homes. NOT do anything about it, except give the consumer a runaround. What happens when someone's house burns down or someone is seriously injured because of this defective Range?? Do NOT BUY GCRG3060AFC model!

Updated on 04/09/2022: In October of 2019 I purchased a slide in Gallery Gas Range, it was delivered a month later. It worked perfectly until the spring of 2021. At that time, the range started randomly beeping/chirping, and the error code F011 would show. The oven timer would randomly turn itself on as well as the oven light, and it also turned the oven on and locked the door. I contacted Frigidaire, and they provided a temporary extended warranty so that a repairman could be sent out. That was the first of what now is 5 repair companies, as the 5th is scheduled for later in April 2022.
The first company replaced the control board, that resolved the issue for less than a month. So I contacted Frigidaire again, another company came out and checked the oven then stated that since it wasn't beeping/chirping and there was no error code at that time there wasn't anything they could do. The next repair company came out, determined it was the control panel and ordered one. They never came back out and I got tired of trying to chase them down. They didn't return phone calls and did not have email. When he finally got back to me, Frigidaire had already scheduled a different company. The fourth company came out in December of 2021, replaced the control panel and that lasted until mid-February when the beeping/chirping started again.
Once again I contacted Frigidaire, and they scheduled an appointment with the 4th company. He didn't show up for the appointment but called. After letting him know that the beeping/chirping started again, he stated he would order another control panel. That was the 4th of March, since then neither myself or Frigidaire has been able to reach the company. They don't return phone calls and don't answer the phone. That is when Frigidaire set up the 5th company, a company that is 3 hours away. I reached out to the company to confirm the appointment, no answer or call back and no response from email.
I went back to Frigidaire and was told there are only 3 authorized repair companies in my area, apparently in the year I have been dealing with this the number of companies has dwindled. So they set the appointment with the only one left. I contacted the company, again to confirm the appointment and found out that their company policy is if another company has already worked on the appliance, they will not as they got tired of cleaning up other companies' messes. So back to Frigidaire I went. The customer service person on the chat stated that they would escalate the issue to see if there were any other repair options. The next day I received a text message from one of the companies that has already looked at the range to confirm my appointment later in April, but due to the lack of beeping/chirping or an error code left without doing anything but checking the oven. The oven was never the problem.
At this point I don't think this issue will ever be resolved and that I will end up having to just replace the range. I contacted the Extended Warranty department to express my concerns and find out what my options are. They responded promptly, but from their response I realized that nothing is going to happen. They word the extended warranty so that the customer never gets a replacement or compensation to off-set the cost of replacing the appliance. This stove when purchased was over $1000.00, and not something I thought I would need to replace two and half years later. It seems to me that Frigidaire and all major appliance manufacturers need to better vet the repair companies they contract with for both warranty and extended warranty service.
The repairman need to be up-to-date with their training on the appliances they are contracted to work on. My issue after much research seems to be more electrical as something is shorting out the control panels causing the beeping/chirping and the fact that functions are randomly turning themselves on with no one near the range. All I want is a range that works the way it is suppose to work. One that I am not afraid to leave plugged in as I only plug it in when I am using it due to the fact that I am afraid it will turn the oven on when I am at work and cause a fire or gas explosion.
Original Review: I purchased my Frigidaire Gallery Freestanding gas range in October 2019. I waited a month for it to be delivered. It worked great until April 2020. Then the beeping started. The timer and oven light would come on by itself at all hours of the day and night. The control board has been replaced two times and 4 different repairman have been here on repair calls. After the last control board was replaced in December 2021 I thought the problem was resolved. Last weekend, it started again. Needless to say I unplugged the range and haven't used it in a week.
The repairman is scheduled to come out on March 4th. My fear is if the light and timer can turn themselves on, can it also turn on the oven by itself? Per Frigidaire before they will replace an appliance the same part has to be replaced 3 times under the extended warranty. Although I really don't think they will. At this point I am ready to put the stove out by the street for the garbage men and eat the 1200.00 I paid for it. Do Not buy this stove, the control panel is a known issue. If I could upload pictures I would.

When we bought our home in 2019, a 2018 Frigidaire Professional gas range was included. It is nice to look at, but that is the only positive thing I have to report. In 2019, it was about 8 months old. Within a year. we had episodes where the oven didn't heat up, at all. Trying again the next day usually worked out. The temperature control knob for the oven mode is hair-trigger sensitive. It usually works, but how inconvenient when it doesn't! On several occasions we've have to switch cooking to stovetop or microwave. Power preheat does nothing at all. Then, the beeps. There are supposed to be two: one when you turn the oven on to preheat, a second when it is ready. For a year now, we've been getting 13 beeps each time.
The other day, the oven didn't work again. The beeps were reduced to one or two. On at least four occasions, we've had service people check it out and replace parts. One issue would be resolved only to have another crop up. Even though it is not even four years old, we're ready to junk it. It wouldn't even be fair to donate such an unpredictable appliance. It just seems like the controls and electronics were fried, from day one.

I purchased a gas range at Home Depot 6 months ago. After following the directions for cleaning the oven using the self clean mode, we noticed there were scratches on the inside of the glass of the oven. After doing some research on my own, I learned that the intense heat of the self clean cycle can sometimes cause the glass to shatter. If the self clean mode on the oven is unsafe to be used then it should not be recommended to be used by Frigidaire! Meanwhile, the manual of the unit says to not use any kind of spray cleaner to clean the oven so you are forced to use the self clean cycle (which by the way did a great job of cleaning the inside).
Customer service was contacted and I was told the new glass would be ordered that day. I was told it would take 7-10 business days to receive the new glass to be shipped directly to me. After 2 weeks, I did not receive the glass and I called customer service again. I was told that the glass had never been shipped and it would be taken care of and I would receive the glass in 2 or 3 business days. Meanwhile I can not use my oven for fear of the glass shattering and now I have to wait even longer. I was not initially given an email with a tracking number so there is no way to monitor when the glass will actually come. I can not schedule an appt for technician to come until after the glass is arrived, so waiting even longer after the glass finally comes. Very poor customer service.
