I bought an upright freezer November 2024. It stopped working 74 days later. Still under warranty. Multiple calls. 3 pages of notes. Its main parts are made out of aluminum. It's not made to last many years. Like the 20 year old freezer I replaced with this disappointment. My advice is search for something better. Buy an old freezer from a family member or someone that has one made out of metal. Appliance technicians are having a hard time fixing these made out aluminum appliances. Research and fact find before you buy. Frigidaire and Kenmore used to the best appliances you could buy. Not anymore.

Purchased top-of-the line Frigidaire Freezer (Model #FFUE2024AN) and received delivery from Lowe's on Jan 19, 2025; plugged in and received High Temp warning before delivery guys left; they said let it come-up to temp and it should go away after 24 hours; called Lowe's after 10 days and said 48 hrs warranty; I have to call Frigidaire; now after 3 tech visits it's still not working and Frigidaire will not replace this brand-new, unused unit. This unit cost $1,000 and has been unusable since delivery - 60 days. I'm being told I have to wait for another tech to assess "repairability". I am done with Frigidaire. DO NOT PURCHASE major appliances from FRIGIDAIRE.

We bought a new Frigidaire upright freezer just over a year ago. It never worked properly. When we asked for a new one, because it didn't work after just a month or two, they said we had to try to repair it first. They tried to repair it multiple times, but it never worked for more than a couple months. They dragged this out until the warranty expired and now they say we just have to buy a new one. They are rude and unhelpful. The freezer is a lemon and they know it.

I bought a Frigidaire chest freezer in July. It didn’t work from the start. It’s now November and it still doesn’t work. They keep insisting that they’ll fix it and every time they send a technician and are told it can’t be fixed they send another tech to verify this. I’m up to 3 different techs now and they still won’t replace it. They continually lie on the phone and say they’re not receiving reports when they have and now are requesting that their master technician talk to the last technician that looked at it to verify that it cannot be repaired. This has been going on for months and I’m telling everyone don’t buy anything from them. Their products and customer service are horrible so save yourself this hassle and avoid them like the plague. There should be a way to leave zero stars on here.

DO NOT BUY FROM FRIGIDAIRE. WORST customer service I have EVER encountered. DECEITFUL AND MANIPULATIVE. They will continue to ask you to call back again and again as a ploy to give them more time. I bought an upright freezer from Frigidaire in June. I had it installed and began using it. Right before the upright freezer hit the 3 month mark I got a high temp alarm. I followed the steps in the manual which included buying dry ice and waiting for a technician since the high temp alarm could not be resolved by me. On the phone call I was told that I would not be reimbursed for the dry ice or any food that had thawed. Not that I could get reimbursed for the food in there I had over 300oz of pumped breastmilk in there for my baby that had started to thaw.
I waited for a technician who stated that they needed to order parts and made an appointment to come back in a week. That appointment was canceled by corporate because the part “wasn’t going to make it in time.” So I called again. And again. And again. More than 10 times I called and spoke to different people. The ONLY thing they could do is “email the back office” and state that they would call me in 24-48 hours. I NEVER received a call from Frigidaire. Every time I called it was the same thing until I asked how long I would have to wait for their “fast service.”
They said 30 days and then I could get a replacement freezer as their service would be deemed “slow.” 30 days came around and the part was still not available. Customer service continued to tell me to wait for the part to come instead of upholding what had previously been stated. I call back one last time and magically the part is all of the sudden available BUT my order had been canceled. The order that I had been calling for 30 days about. So now over 30 days later and I still have not received my parts or a technician to come and fix it. The parts are now ordered, but who knows how long it will take to get a technician out. My freezer is still not fixed. 30+ days and pending.
In closing: When your freezer breaks - be prepared to wait well over a month to get it fixed while being told you are not being patient enough with them. You will never receive a phone call from them and you will always be left in the dark. Never ever ever buy from Frigidaire. They are no longer a trusted brand to me, and I hope you won’t trust them either.

I paid close to $600 for stainless steel top freezer fridge 3 months later, it died out of the blue. I called customer service and it took them several days to send someone out. Not only did they messed up my phone number they told me there was no supervisor available. Correct number to contact their call center is based in Philippines and the agents are difficult to understand and took a long time in understanding your needs. My food all ruined. I rushed out to buy a no-brand fridge that was one-third the cost yet has a life tilted warranty. Shame on you Frigidaire for claiming to be top of the line but really just crap in disguise.

I’ve owned a Side-by-Side Column Refrigerator and Freezer Set from Frigidaire for a year and a half, which my builder chose. Unfortunately, the freezer has already started malfunctioning—leaking water, to be specific. I contacted Frigidaire’s technician, and after inspecting the unit, he informed me that the issue stems from an internal defect in the ice maker pipe, which is unrepairable. To make matters worse, he mentioned that this is a known issue with 2022 model units. (he has seen this happen many times) Apparently, Frigidaire internally recognized this problem and fixed it in the newer models, but that does nothing to help those of us stuck with the defective ones.
The only solution I’ve been given is to replace both the freezer and refrigerator, which will cost me a whopping $6,000. Why? Because the newer 2024 models have different connections, meaning I have no choice but to replace both units together, even though the refrigerator isn’t technically broken yet. On a side note, the warranty on the newer models (starting July 2023) has been extended to 2 years, which seems like a blatant attempt to make them look better after they realized how faulty the 2022 models were.
When I reached out to Frigidaire customer service, they couldn’t have been less helpful. Their response? “You’re out of the 1-year warranty; we can’t do anything for you.” No accountability, no solutions, just a brush-off. After multiple attempts, they would offer me a "20% rebate" if I bought this set to replace my current one. Hell no, they still want my money? I’m absolutely disgusted that a so-called "professional series" product from Frigidaire would fail within two years and that the company refuses to stand behind their products. I’ll never buy anything from this brand again, and I strongly advise anyone considering a Frigidaire purchase to think twice.

That's Holiday. All my meat and veggies are thawed out. 800 bucks down the drain. Junk don't buy the products.

Frigidaire customer service was attentive. Product is working fine now after manual defrost. There was too much ice build up and the evaporator fan was probably hitting ice.

We bought a brand new top freezer Frigidaire and was pleased initially. Today, started making loud noises like an airplane propeller from back of fridge. Extremely disappointed. I owned a Whirlpool fridge in the past and 15 years no problem. I will never buy another Frigidaire product again.

Buyer beware. We bought a brand new Frigidaire Gallery in January 2024 from Lowe’s. The freezer broke down in May. If you are considering purchasing an appliance by Frigidaire built by Electrolux at Lowe’s consider all this first. Mid August the unit is still not working after four service calls, 3 wrong parts sent, over 12 hours of service techs in our home, 20 hours on the phone with Electrolux, 5 hours with service repair, countless apologies and over 3 hours on hold.
Beware. Electrolux customer service is trained to say NO and prolong the issue until the consumer is worn out. Furthermore we purchased an extended warranty with Electrolux and after countless attempts Frigidaire simply refuses to make it right. We keep getting kicked down the road. Our next step is a consumer affairs filing. If you purchase it from a retailer buy the extended warranty from them. After 30 they will be unable to help you. You’ll be on your own to face the same misfortune we have. User's recommendation: Do not buy Frigidaire products.

My husband and I bought a Frigidaire upright freezer. After three years the condenser shorted out. Since we hadn’t bought an extended warranty, we ended up buying a new freezer to replace it. We deeply regret having replaced it with another Frigidaire. This time our new freezer lasted for three MONTHS before the fan died, froze the water in the lines, and cause the second great meltdown. This time we lost everything.

I will NEVER purchase another Frigidaire product! Frigidaire believes in giving the customer the runaround when it comes to backing their manufacture warranty. I purchased a 20 cu. Ft. Upright freezer, after a few days of it being delivered, I noticed ice buildup in the inside door area. I contacted Frigidaire, they sent out a technician who stated the freezer had received body damage and the appliance was non-repairable and that he'd send the report to Frigidaire and Frigidaire should update me in a about a week regarding the next steps.
Frigidaire did not contact me, so I contacted Frigidaire on week two and was told that the report the technician submitted states "in-repair" and not "non-repairable". Frigidaire stated that I had to get a second opinion before the would replace the appliance. I contacted the previous technician company's customer service and was given the report that was submitted to Frigidaire, stating exactly what the technician had told me when he made the service call. I am currently waiting for the second technician to come service the appliance, which Frigidaire said the appointment was booked for the following day, but when I call the company I was informed that they don't even have openings for tomorrow.

I just unloaded my 20 cu ft freezer, I put 1/2 of it in the trash and about 1/2 of it in other freezers. This is my second Frigidaire freezer in 8 years. The first one completely quit overnight. I walked out into the garage to pull something out to thaw for lunch and noticed water under the freezer. When I opened the door everything was thawed. This one started with only certain items not freezing. Then slowly other items appeared soft. I have just bought my last Frigidaire freezer or refrigerator.
The freezer I had before this one was an old Sears freezer. It was 25 years old and still working. I decided I didn't like defrosting it every year or so and wanted to switch to a frost free. I wish I still had it. My dad still has his. We bought both on the same day getting a small discount for referral. Dad's is now 35 years old and still freezes items in a short time.

Purchased a 20 cf Frigidaire upright garage ready Freezer from the Home Depot. After a little over a year, the Compressor stopped working. This caused the loss of my frozen food. Neither Frigidaire nor Home Depot wanted to take responsibility for this lemon since we didn't buy the "extended warranty" which I may add was during the pandemic. We paid for a technician but he couldn't fix it due to the highly flammable butane used in this freezer instead of the usual freon. Sooo, here we are with a piece of junk sitting in the garage. Frigidaire said the Compressor should last at least 7 years but didn't care that they and Home Depot sold us a lemon. Apparently the Implied Warranty does nothing as far as Home Depot is concerned.

Our experience has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I implore you to take immediate action to rectify this situation. To begin with, our initial appointment with a technician was an absolute disaster. The technician was a no-show, no call, without any prior notification or communication. This lack of professionalism was deeply disappointing. After a week's delay, the technician finally appeared, but by then, the inconvenience caused was already significant. The technician diagnosed the issue and ordered the necessary part for the repair. However, it has now been a whole month, and the part is still stuck in the shipping status. Every time I try to reach out to customer service at 1-800-944-9044, I am directed to overseas customer support. Regrettably, these interactions have been far from helpful. Each time I explain my situation, it feels like I am starting from scratch, as if there is no record of my previous conversations.
As of now, my freezer and fridge remain in disrepair, and I am left in the dark about the status of the parts and the anticipated resolution timeline. The lack of communication from both the company and the technician has been incredibly frustrating. I find myself in a position where I have no idea when my freezer and fridge will be fixed, and no one seems to have any concrete information to provide. In this age of advanced communication, it's disheartening to experience such a profound lack of transparency and accountability. We are still waiting!

I purchased a new freezer in September 2022. About 2 1/2 months ago the alarm started going off about every 30 seconds. I was unable to find anything myself and so called the customer service, which is a joke, and they made an appointment for a repair man to come out. The guy who showed up looked at it and left saying he ordered a new gasket for it. When that came he came back. Put in the new gasket and said to give 24 hours for the alarm to stop going off. It never stopped so I called yet again and the same guy came out. Put in another gasket and replaced the light which is where the alarm indicator is. Now my freezer is worse than ever in that there is frost at the bottom of the door plus things in the door are not freezing. So if the freezer was working properly that alarm should be going off since there is obviously a temperature issue.
Once again I called the customer service and they would only say they will make an appointment for me again and that I cannot request a different technician or company to repair it. For the last three appointments which were all confirmed I received no call and no show. When I called the customer service all they will do is make another appointment and they say that the technician said there is no issue with my freezer. I called Home Depot and one of their reps actually came to my house and took photos of the problem and acknowledge there is indeed something wrong with the freezer where they contacted a Frigidare rep in my area of Nampa Idaho and they were supposed to call me to assist. This was last Monday. No call at all.
Do not buy this product. You will not get any customer service at all other than an automated this is what you get and there is no recourse. I now have to continue to try to get my freezer fixed. I intend to file a complaint with the Idaho Attorney General’s office and anywhere else I can think of. This is absolutely unprofessional. Dishonest. Just crappy product and Customer Service.

I bought. Freezer Frigidaire model FFUE2022AWO. From the get go it’s frosting especially on top two shelfs. Can’t reach their customer service but once in a blue moon and no help to them! So I called for a service man, locally, he said the door inside is bent near the seal. Nothing we did but many come that way. I hate Frigidaire and will never buy or recommend their products. Now it’s costing me 300 plus tax to get a new door. I will use GE from now on. I finally reached FRIGIDAIRE customer service today and he even suggested I buy the door from Amazon and it would be cheaper. There is nothing wrong with the seal. It’s the inside part of the door that is bent and allows air inside. Do not buy Frigidaire.

Bought 3 stand up freezers (16 feet) early 2021, built in October 2020. Compressor in 1 broke down, cost of replacement almost as much as buying a new freezer. Unfortunately warranty is only 1 year (My mistake. Should have checked before as I would not have bought with such a flimsy warranty). We purchased the column Freezer in 2021, and immediately had leaking issues, which was due to a cracked hose inside the insulation and could not be fixed so we were issued a replacement. 2 replacements has noticeable scratches on the front door when we received them and a 3rd replacement attempt was so bad that it never left their warehouse. We have been arguing with Frigidaire for nearly 18 months now, and were recently told that their policy has a maximum of 3 replacement attempts, and after that point, all they can do is issue a credit. So somehow the company has the inability to successfully deliver a functioning new condition freezer, but because of their ineptitude, the customer has to suffer on a product we paid for. We will never buy another product from Frigidaire.

We purchased this unit 11/18/2020. From the first day it was very noisy when it ran. Now for the last few days it runs continuously and will not shut down. We have been manually adjusting the temp ourselves. I called Frigidaire and they will not offer any help for a 2 year old unit. They did offer to call a repairman of their choosing but after questioning we found out we will have to pay for it. This unit was under $300 so repair seems like a waste of money on something so new. Seems from reading other reviews this company produce disposable products. We will never purchase another Frigidaire product again. Run from this company!
