FAS Windows & Doors Reviews

I wanted a door that I can put a dog door in it but it was where a French door would be...so I needed a partial French door. I had been looking for a long time and FAS Exteriors carried a product that had an unusual configuration. They helped me in the way I wanted and with what I wanted to do with this door. Their staff was very nice when I dealt with him, but towards the end, I felt like he dropped me. The installer was great, though.

It was a mess from the get-go. It took FAS four weeks to come out for the final measurement of the windows before they order it. I built my own wood shutters. I had most of the wood on site but didn't have the shutters all done which I’m legally allowed to do. I get a phone call two months into the project, before they even ordered the windows, that they need to get pictures of all my shutters before they order. I said, "That’s funny because the contract doesn’t say that,” then I was told it's a new policy. That doesn't make any sense. I said, “I don’t care about your new policy. The contract I signed says upon final inspection these shutters are supposed to be done.” But I gave them the pictures because they wouldn’t order the windows until they knew I had all of the stuff on site.

In May 2016, I called FAS. Then I met the FAS salesman. I ordered all new windows, and a French door for the rear dinette (lanai). I wanted grids in all windows. The first FAS salesman I met in May 2016 stated he does not like grids in windows, he refused to order a bathroom window, he refused to order windows and rear PGT door for the rear dinette (lanai), he refused to order sculptured grids, he refused to order grids for the French doors, and he refused to order an available tan color for the six window sashes.

I purchased nine windows from FAS Exteriors. The products are great and although there was a little bit of delay in the timing, the salesman was fantastic and was really good about following up. Part of the reason for the delay was that we had an unusual window that had to be fitted. But overall, it was a great experience. Everybody that I dealt with like the sales guy and the installers were all friendly, courteous and professional.

When I called FAS Exteriors, my husband was standing by and he couldn't believe how courteous, nice and efficient the receptionist was. We scheduled for somebody to come out. The windows we got included bay windows and one that was from floor to ceiling, and they all added up to eight pieces. With their sales guy, Jeff, the purchase went very easy. He was so accommodating when he came and talked to us which was good. He was great and upfront. A lot of our experience was so nice. Their rep constantly stayed in touch with me and informed me of when the windows would be arriving in our location and let me feel that I wasn't a forgotten client.

I was going down to Orlando and felt it was a good opportunity to stop in at the FAS Windows & Doors store and take a look. We purchased a window and their people had to measure it all the way to make sure that what they replaced it with was the correct size. They had nice sales people and were definitely hard workers. But I have one issue I was concerned about. They were supposed to caulk the windows and when I looked at the caulking they put in, it wasn't enough to fill the gap. I didn't particularly like that. I called for one of them and he put some more spray in there. But even then, it wasn't enough.

I've used FAS Exteriors twice. I like how they work and they're very organized. I purchased replacement windows from them. They were great and beautiful. However, their sales rep didn't take his time either measuring or explaining things to me. He was not the positive experience in the whole thing. He rushed through everything, was not detailed enough, and didn't really answer questions clearly. On the other hand, their installers were terrific. In fact, they had to go back over the salesperson's work to ensure that the size of the windows were correct. Overall, they were professional, except for the sales element, and they have great product with quality installation.

I hear about FAS more than any other company and when I talked to the salesman, I was pretty impressed with the setup. So, I trust them more than anybody else. The salesman explained the deal and was very straight to the point and honest, which I appreciate. I purchased customized windows and I've talked to him about doors also. FAS sells expensive doors, which are out of my league, and he was straight upfront and didn't try to push it to me. He just let me know the different direction on the doors.

Our electricity bill was one of the main reasons why we decided to switch windows because we had aluminum windows before. In addition, since we're expecting our first child in December, we wanted safer windows as well. We got some picture windows and regular slide windows from FAS. They were middle grade windows, the ones right below the hurricane double pane. We liked the price and the warranty of FAS. If we ever decided to sell the house, these carry over to the next buyers. The windows we purchased were measured and made to fit, but they were standard size windows.

Called on them to quote my house. Sales guy came out and spent 10 minutes measuring 37 windows. Send an email to me wanting me to contract with him with a handwritten quote. Ask for a formal quote to review both the scope and terms, he said that all I needed. When I said, "No, please write it up per the scope." He knew there was no switch and up charges down the road for windows he never measured for. I would be careful to get a complete scope of work before contracting with FAS Windows. Every other company did and why I am going with Window World.

We had a bad experience with a previous door installer/retailer. Then we heard good things on the radio about FAS so we went to see them in their warehouse and we were impressed with both the product and the people. We bought two sets of French doors and had them installed. We were also able to customize our lock and glass selection, as well as the decorative treatment of the doors and it worked very well. Their sales rep was very personable. He called in response to our call to set up a time and he arrived on time. He was very knowledgeable and very enthusiastic, and we very much enjoyed the opportunity to talk to him. He was certainly the first contact in our home that helped convince us to try them out.

After about five companies who came in, FAS were the ones I went with. They were made here, which I was pretty happy with, and they were made in-house. Also, the gentleman didn't try to oversell me on it which was what the other four companies did. I'm also in sales and I didn't like the way they did the sales job. But for the FAS guy, it was pretty much truthful and he didn't give me any BS on the pricing. He came in, said their best price, explained what they did and guaranteed that they were going to stick by their product. He seemed trustworthy and told me what I wanted to hear. He did a very good job and sold me on it.

FAS Exteriors weren’t the cheapest but I thought they had the best service and product. Their sales team member was excellent and very helpful. He made an appointment and came to my house. I told him what I was interested in and went through all the products. After I got an estimate, I went to their showroom and looked at the product that I thought I might like and made a decision on it. I was able to check there and select what product that I wanted. I had all new windows and three sliding doors since my entire house was re-done. The installation team was fabulous and the quality of the items so far is excellent. I was going for quality products, quality installation, and the labor and FAS is excellent. They gave a lifetime warranty on the product as well as on the labor. There’s a lot of warranty that one can get on a product but then they charge $300 to come and change the window, but not with FAS.

I needed the Simonton windows so I looked it up and found that FAS Exteriors had them. I got the Simonton windows and the PGT door from them and they were customized. Their sales people were very good, knowledgeable and patient to get everything in order. The installers performed as well. The only problem that I had was the PGT door came in scratched. They replaced it three times so I had to wait about a month for them to get the sliding doors corrected. Everything besides that was fine. I like the products and they are of very high quality. I did the actual research and knew what I was getting. I asked the right questions, and FAS Exteriors performed. I have recommended the company to several people in my community.

In 2008 or 2007, I had FAS Exteriors do our windows. They put some foam in the inside and the way they cropped it and everything on the outside was kind of sloppy. We only did half of the house and I had 5 windows left. So, I called them recently because I wanted to make sure the windows all look the same. They were also the only ones who would show up and give us a bid. Coincidentally, I had the same salesman for both times. He was great and I've recommended him to somebody else. I needed some specialized work done with one of the windows for it to be installed and he recommended somebody who did a great job. The second installation team was different but was fast.

I got about 25,000$ worth of FAS windows & doors for my parents. The company's commitment sounded like something I could live with so I purchased from them. We live on a second story with two-floor foyers where there was a huge window up on what would be the second floor which was a tremendous amount of work for them to put it. But they said there would be no problem when I asked them to, so they did it. Overall, I've had excellent service, better than I could have ever imagined. I appreciate everything they did for us.

FAS Exteriors did a very good job with my windows. They went above and beyond what I expected. The guys they sent were very careful with what they were doing and very friendly. My windows are excellent and I love them. I was surprised about how good they are.

I liked the guy I talked to at FAS Windows & Doors. He was straightforward. He came to the house and spent around an hour there. We bought the vinyl glass windows for our house. They were all made to fit our house and replaced the existing windows that we had. Everything was so easy and trouble-free. I already recommended them to some friends that just moved to Dunedin.

We had heard that FAS Exteriors was pretty good and we got their guy to come out. He seemed pretty professional and the pricing was decent so we got their triple pane gas-filled windows. Our experience was all positive and I would recommend them.

We were looking to put windows in our house and we were recommended to look at FAS by someone my husband works with. FAS had a high rating on the Consumer Report, on Angie’s List and they were a medium quote. When we went to the building to look at the windows, we liked the gentleman that was there that explained how they work. We were happy with our sales team member to begin with, and we needed to add some more windows afterwards. We contacted him and he gave us partial information back on a quote. We tried to get him again and we were never able to get a resolution. My husband had sent emails but he never got back with us.

FAS was very receptive. They did what we wanted with the front windows that we purchased. The sales rep was very nice. He answered all our questions and took care of everything. Everything that he said, like the time that it would take for them to come and for someone to come in and inspect before the windows would be installed, was correct. The installation was done in no time, which surprised me. They were able to put and fit windows in so fast, so I was very happy with that. Their installers told us how to care for the windows, so that was very informative. I would do it with them again if I needed new windows.

We looked at three different companies but decided to go with FAS because they had high ratings on Consumer Report and Angie’s List, and they gave us a medium quote -- not the lowest, not the highest. Also, when we went to their showroom to look at the windows we liked the gentleman there that explained how they work.

When I first moved here which was back in the late ‘70s, FAS was frequently advertising and we thought we had liked what they said about their windows. We became fascinated over the years except that we had not called them until last November. I’m very much satisfied with their materials and workmanship, and I was able to customize my order as well. The sales team were very pleasant, understanding and outspoken. The installation team was very professional and friendly. I’m very well pleased with the quality up to this point and I’m getting good results with my utility since the windows have been installed. I have made and seen a great change since I have the new windows in.

We love our French doors from FAS Exteriors. We were able to customize them in such a way that we had a lot of slots in the windows that would open the doors. It's got excellent quality and the installer was a great young man. He came in and I thought there was no way he was going to knock out that bottom shelf but he did it. He cleaned it out and didn't leave a speck of dirt behind. We have seen the competition driving around town and we didn't like their contractor's truck. It's a little ruddy for us and we thought that was not a very good representation of what our product would look like when it was finished. But with FAS, we would recommend them to anyone.

Overall, my experience with FAS was very good. I’m very happy with the sliding glass doors we got from them. After we went to their showroom, they sent a salesman who did the measurements at the house. And then after that, they sent out the crew to install them. The crew was terrific, and they cleaned up as they went.

We were doing our house over in Columbus and since we needed weatherproof windows, I got a large picture window, and a grouping of three, with the big one in the middle from FAS. They had to build it to fit the frame that was already there, so they built it right on the spot. Their sales team has been very helpful, careful and did a lot of measuring. In fact, the one who did the measuring made sure he was here when they were building it. I was pleased because they're so professional about it and the end product was very satisfactory. It's excellent and even the inspector who came said that it was well done.

We got a pretty good deal from FAS and they also have the type of windows we wanted so we had them install very large windows in our house. We got all of the main windows and the quality is excellent because I even went to see some new houses sometime back and the quality of my windows was superior to what they were showing in new homes. The salesperson who came out was very knowledgeable and no one was pushy. I also like that I was kept in the loop as to where we stood in the process at all points in time so I knew what was coming. They also provided me with a list of what the next steps would be, who's going to call me and what I need to do to prepare. The installers too were courteous and very clean - didn't leave any residue. They ran a bit late but they notified me. I was very pleased with the process, the service and I love my windows. If I were to need windows again, I would definitely reach out to them.

FAS said they were family-owned and strove for perfection. I purchased from them a double-pane patio glass door which was custom-order as the door size was not standard. Their sales rep couldn't have been more professional and helpful. He communicated to me everything that was going on. Their office always gave status reports anytime there was movement, which was amazing. The installer was fast and explained how the door opens and closes. There was no re-measuring and the fit was perfect. No mistakes were made. The quality is beyond what I had hoped for. I had asked Home Depot to put in a front door similar to it and it was terrible compared to FAS.

I researched FAS online and everything looked satisfactory to me. Also, their price was good. So I purchased a bunch of windows from them and it was a very good product. The sales team was very helpful and answered all my questions. It worked like clockwork. They said that after I signed they would call me and they did. Follow up was also excellent, I had no surprises. Everything from start to finish was very good. Also, the installation team was very good, polite, neat, fast and on time. I was very pleased and would recommend FAS to anybody. All in all, they explained everything, and everything happened accordingly and in a timely manner.

FAS Exteriors' pricing was more competitive and the overall product reviews and ratings were better than the competitors. The sales team was knowledgeable, helpful and were patient enough to answer any questions ahead to make sure I was knowledgeable myself in getting the product that I want. It was a very good experience. The installation team was in and out as expeditiously as possible. They did all windows through my whole home and I also got a set of French doors. They were insulated, impact-rated, and hurricane-rated windows and doors. The actual size of the windows were all unique because it's an old home, so each window was a custom measurement. They are of very good quality and have held up good so far.

We purchased a front sliding glass door from FAS Exteriors. The salespeople we dealt with were very knowledgeable and friendly, and they helped in every detail along the way. The quality of the item we have is excellent. Every step along the way was what we expected. We didn't have any problems with whatever including when the installers came. The time schedule was perfect. Everything was just exactly what we wanted.

We were considering FAS several years ago, because over 20 years ago, we had windows and doors replaced, and I've never been really happy with them. The company that serviced them went out of business. So the next go-round, windows need replacing but the three external doors are bad, so we just went straight to FAS. They're not the cheapest outfit in town, but they were recommended very highly to us and we knew other people that had dealt with them. The installation people were top-notch. So everything we do from here on, I wouldn't even bother with anybody else. The doors fit beautifully and it was a complete job and the product was great.

In 2006 my husband and I were looking at replacing the windows because the ones that the builders put in were really crappy. Builders don't always use the best materials. And being from up North and having good, sturdy, heavy windows, we knew what we wanted. I was talking to Mike, a gentleman at church, and he was familiar with FAS Exteriors and recommended that we get in touch with them. We did and we were very impressed so we decided to go with the windows. At the same time, we had talked about replacing the doors in a couple of years. When it came time for me do the doors, I just automatically called FAS.

I liked the products that FAS Exteriors had and bought the PGT from them. The sales team and installation team were all very good. So far, the quality of the products is good and I haven’t had any issues.

The FAS rep that came to the house was very straightforward and didn't try to play any games. He told me about the product and any recommendations he had based on the structure of my home and my particular circumstances. He gave me instructions on how to follow through and phone numbers if I had a question. I did contact him later that same day with a question about something and he got right back with me and answered. I got windows for the house and the safety glass with the back-slider door and their price was very competitive - the quote I got was close to the best, if not the best quote.

We wanted the front door to match the garage door, so we went around to different places and the only place that we found with the matching door with the garage door was FAS. We got the front doors and they were able to customize our order when it came to the door handle, the type of glass, and the color. They’re all very nice and of high quality. The doors were installed as requested but we ran into some problems that didn’t pass the inspection the first time. They came out to install everything but they didn’t have all the pieces and had to come back out again. They were all very nice about it, but the installation drag on for a while.

I purchased windows from FAS Exteriors and they are good quality. Their sales and installation team did an excellent job, couldn't have been any better. They're probably the best people that I've ever had to do work at my house. It was an excellent experience.

I bought windows and doors from FAS Exteriors. I went to three different companies with the windows and one window salesman didn’t even know what he was talking about. I was afraid to buy anything from them. Also, they have Buy 1- Get 1 Free and Buy 2 - Get 1 Free, and they were about three times more expensive. Wndows of FAS Exteriors were a bit more expensive but I felt they were better built. Moreover, they customized my door and windows’ openings.

We were looking for some windows and I saw that FAS is a type of company I like, family-owned, been around for a while according to the book that I got from Orange County and they had a lot of very positive comments and testimonials from people who have used their work. So I decided to call them, set up an appointment and had them come out and try and get a gut feel for them within 10 minutes. We bought windows and a customized front door. The sales repo was very good and the installers were great and did an excellent job. They did what they said they're going to do when they said they're going to do it. We were very pleased in all aspects and I would have no qualms about recommending them to anyone.

I had a customized order from FAS Exteriors. I was pleased with the way everything went down. I got a good description for it on the phone and when I went over to the showroom, it has been a very informative visit. Then the gentleman who did the measurements knew exactly what he was doing. The installers were crackerjacks. They were on time, friendly and knowledgeable. I anticipated they liked Rock & Roll so I had some music cranked up and they were loving it. They met a few challenges but they tackled those and went above and beyond to do a great job for me.

FAS Exteriors got a good reputation and did a good job at my prior home some time ago. Their sales team member was very knowledgeable and friendly and the installation team was first class. They knew what they were doing - moved it in, got it done and got out. I'm extremely pleased that I got a good door. However, I was a little disappointed at how long it took to install the front door, but I guess these things take a while to build.

FAS Exteriors have done some additional work for me in the past so I went back to them to purchase some windows. They carried themselves well when they came out and measured and gave us an estimate. They explained all to us in pretty good detail. We have a big house and we’ll call FAS Exteriors when we need to do more windows. They weren’t cheap but were very good quality.

FAS Exteriors seemed to be very professional and they responded quickly when I called and asked about a quote. My sales rep was very courteous and professional. The installers were quick and professional about the whole thing. It took a reasonable length of time to install my sliding patio glass doors, which I found were good as any among the market.

We bought colonial, double-sided windows from FAS. The sales team member was thorough and gave us all the info we needed. He seemed to know everything and compared their products to others and made us aware of why theirs was the better product. We're happy with the quality of the windows. They're nice. The installers were quick, clean and exact with their job. They came when they said they were going to come. They installed it all by the time they said they were going to install it. They demonstrated to us everything that we needed to do to maintain them. They showed us how to clean them and how to use them. The inspector found two things that needed to be fixed and it didn't take 5 mins to fix it. We're happy with the service. Any time we call their office for questions, we always get a call back. Sometimes we get two to be sure that they had answered us. They're the best! It was a great experience.

I was looking for someone to redo my glass doors. We went in to see FAS Exteriors. We wanted a particular brand of door and they carried them but we ended up getting a different brand. I'm very proud of the quality of the items we purchased. I like it all the way around. We also like the service we got when we were shopping. The sales team was very helpful and the installation team was on time, and did everything very quickly and cleaned up well. I'm completely satisfied with them and I would use them again.

I've heard nothing but great things about FAS Exteriors' products and support. Initially, we purchased a set of French doors to replace the ones in the house, and then later on, we replaced all the windows. The installation team showed me what they were doing and how bad things were before, and went above and beyond helping me get the security wires back to the new window areas. All the items have been reliable. The doors and the windows are quiet and solid, and the heat inside the house has gone down drastically. FAS has great people, great products, and great service.

I had quite a few people come out and give me quotes, and the FAS reps were super professional and very friendly, so I got doors from them. I had a great experience with the sales rep and the installers were good. They took longer than anticipated and we had a little bit of a more detailed job, but they were very good. Everything was very good with FAS and I like the product a lot.

My husband went window shopping and spoke with several companies that install windows. He chose FAS because they were able to answer many questions that the others couldn't. For example, when he talked with Sears and a couple of other companies about the tint in the windows, they could never tell him exactly what the tint was and how dark it was going to be. FAS came forward with all the information that we asked for and satisfied us completely. They were also very courteous and friendly.

We had an idea of what we wanted and everything went beautifully from there. We've had our kitchen done with very good quality, and now we're getting our bathrooms done. The installation team was thorough. They came when they were supposed to and were courteous and very professional. They cleaned up afterwards so it worked out well. We were pleased with the end results. FAS Exteriors has been dependable and we're happy in the end.

I called FAS Exteriors to purchase a sliding glass door. It felt like they tried to oversell me a little bit, but it was good nonetheless. Although I'm having a little problem with the lock as it gets stuck every once in a while, the item has been great, so far.

I have friends who’ve used FAS and theie rep was good, professional and knowledgeable. He had some suggestions for me. The installers were on time, professional as well, cleaned up and got the job done in record time. It was an excellent experience.

I liked the job FAS Exteriors did when I lived in Orlando so I called them to purchase a sliding glass door here. The quality of the item was excellent and I would definitely recommend them.

I scheduled a free in-home estimate with FAS. The day the appointment took place, the Sales Rep., Roger, arrived and was very friendly and helpful. He was having technical difficulties connecting to wi-fi on his laptop, so as he did the estimate he just wrote everything down that I needed/wanted. I was totally understanding because I know how unreliable technology is. He said what he would do is "build" the windows and doors and then email everything over to me. I said "Great, I'll be waiting to hear from you". The estimate was worth considering, and I was interested to see what he had to email over. It's now been about 4 or 5 weeks, and I still have not received a word from anyone at FAS. Needless to say, I'm disappointed after reading such good reviews on the company and the helpfulness of their employees. I'm looking elsewhere for a window & door company.

FAS just replaced the front door and it looks great. They were the high-end kind as opposed to going to Home Depot and having them contracted out which we didn't really want to do for the front door. So we drove down to their warehouse and liked what they had in stock there, and decided the price was what we wanted to pay. They walked us through it. They asked what door color and kind of beveled glass we want or if we want it to open from the left to the right. They go down their checklist to what I want, then confirm everything and do a printout. We already had an idea of what we wanted going in, but they helped us fine-tune it.

I had a French door installed by FAS. They did a nice job on the door and they were reasonable. Gary, the sales rep, was very nice, professional and eager to help. The installers were professional too and the quality of the door was excellent.

I got a front door and four windows from FAS Exteriors. The salesperson said what I wanted to hear and we got everything taken care of. I picked the color of the door and it has the glass inset and the keyless entry - I haven’t read the manual on it yet and know how to use it without a key. I'm satisfied with the quality of the items.

I purchased 17 sliding glass windows and I feel very good about the quality of the items I've purchased. Their installation team did a very good job and I'm very happy with the windows and installation. I would probably use them again.

We're very pleased with FAS and hoping to get some more windows through them sometime this year. Their pricing was good and the sales rep was very good. We bought some windows and a sliding door that were premeasured. Also, the crew that came were excellent, very conscientious, polite, on time, and cleaned up after they were finished and we're hoping to get them back. We’re very pleased with the quality so far and we're waiting for a cold spell to see if it keeps the wind out and the cold out.

FAS was excellent from beginning to end. Everybody we dealt with was wonderful and it was a better experience than I expected it to be. We had gotten two very good recommendations from people that had them and I would also recommend them. The salesperson who came out was very good, told us a lot, and explained everything. We got every window and glass doors in the house done, they built them to fit, and the quality was excellent. I kind of dreaded the installation because they're gonna be there for two days, but it went beautifully and they cleaned up. And so, we were very happy with the whole thing.

Someone mentioned FAS to me, I had them come out, the sales was very nice, liked the person who presented the things, and so I went with purchasing lots of windows from them. They measured the windows and made them up for my home. I really like the person Jeff who did the installation so I had the order done in two parts so I could pay for it and made sure that he came out for the second time. The FAS team were very professional, punctual, and did a nice job of cleanup, too. I'm very pleased with the quality of my purchase and would highly recommend them.

I looked at the website of FAS Exteriors and it had a little video that had a message from the owner. That was real professional and that's what we wanted in somebody who will put in our windows, someone that was knowledgeable because we were getting ready to spend a lot of money. I had somebody come out to measure and custom-fit my house. We had 29 windows installed and a sliding glass door and I felt at ease with the installation team. They were there for five days and they were real good guys. Moreover, the windows and doors were top of the line and beautiful. Everything went smoothly. They did have to re-order two windows that didn't come in, but things like that happen. Everybody that has worked with us in FAS, from the local company and in getting back to me with email, was very quick and they were on top of things so we had a good experience with them.

I bought windows from FAS Exteriors for a small bathroom and bedroom and a large picture window with two smaller ones on the side for the master bedroom. We only did the bathroom and the master but we also have a large picture window in the living room which is old that we’re definitely going with FAS again to make it look nice because of the availability of custom sized windows.

I was asking people about new windows and the neighbor down the street have used a local company that had really messed up her stucco and the repair dropped didn't look good either. So that's what made me make the decision to go with FAS. I purchased windows and three French doors from them. I was able to customize the doors where only two of them open and one doesn't. Their quality is excellent and stunning. There is a difference in my electric bill. I was able to sit in the room before because it was too hot and I had to go into the other room. Now, I can stay here all day long. The sales team member was very nice and polite. He explained everything very well. It was comfortable, with no high pressure. The installation team was like a well-oiled machine. It was amazing to watch them for they rhythm. They worked so well and finished up in a day last July. I've had such a wonderful experience with FAS Exteriors.

The installer from FAS Exterior showed up late and then he had to leave to pick up his help. He was gone for 2.5 hours. They started with the installation early 9 o'clock at night before they got done. Also, I paid the installer as per instruction on the form, but FAS called a week later saying that I did not pay. I told them I did, and then they said "Well, the installer doesn't work for us anymore." But that was not my problem. We went back and forth and eventually they asked me to issue a new check and stop the payment on the check that I gave the installer.

I got a quote from Sears but the one from FAS Exteriors was so much better and the sales team member was very nice and knowledgeable. When I got their estimate, it was much less expensive so I purchased three picture windows and put it into my living room. The installation team were all friendly and efficient, I had no complaints. I never knew that there was an aluminum framing around the windows that looked good and also they’re a lot more secure. My windows were the original in the house that was almost like a piece of glass and compared to what I had for 40 years, this one’s excellent. It's sturdy and hopefully, it’s electrical saving. Overall they were great and terrific, I had no problem with them.

We were able to customize our order by window sizes and they let me do the bathroom window the way that I wanted it. He was laid-back and gave us time to make our decision, and we were really happy with him. Finally, their installation team did a great job. They were very nice and professional. I also liked the follow-up from FAS. Their office called and checked in to make sure everyone showed up on time and that everything got cleaned. Everything was good and I like their customer service.

I purchased double pane windows from FAS Exteriors. I have a knob shaped window in the foyer and that was the custom cut. Salesperson was great, knowledgeable, pleasant and polite. He came to my home to do the measuring. Installation team was on time and in fact they called and said that they could be a little early if it was convenient. They were clean, neat, polite and enjoyable. The item I purchased helps with my electric bill. I'd recommend them.

I’ve spoken with a lot of people and they said that FAS Exteriors were very good windows, it’s well made, and I also liked the product when the guy sold it to me. He was very reasonable, professional, and wasn’t pushy, so I ended up purchasing five windows and I only have them for a few months now, but I’m very happy with them. Also, their installation team was very good, dedicated, professional, took care of me, and left me satisfied. They found some trimming that needed to be replaced, so they did it. FAS Exteriors did all our windows and doors, mostly standard and a few we changed from operable to fixed windows. The salesperson was friendly, knowledgeable, and was able to work with us. It was another selling point because we ran into a couple of competitors who told us we can't do some things but when I looked up the building code online, there were no problems with what we wanted to do. FAS Exteriors did exactly as we had described. They were on time, finished when they said they'd finish the job, and left the place nice and clean. Their workmanship was good, too. They were pricier but they were able to accommodate some changes and delivered as promised. So far, I'm very happy.

The installers from FAS Exteriors were very focused and got the work done quickly. Only problem is I was charged with the permit to have the window installed and I don't remember it from the initial engagement. I don’t know if it’s FAS or not, but they need to make sure that the person knows they're paying for it. They should make a note in there if indeed people are supposed to take care of the $22 charge.

I purchased some windows from FAS Exteriors, which I've heard of through a friend, because they were the best. The sales guy was great and terrific and the installation team was pretty good. They installed a lot faster than they told me which was great. However, they could have cleaned up a little better. The quality of their items is absolutely the best in terms of how much cooler it is in the house because of them. Everything went well. However I was surprised with how long it took Orange County to do the inspection.

I got a kitchen window and a sliding glass door. I called FAS Exteriors to schedule someone to come out to see me. The person they sent was an older gentleman, was very nice and knew what he was talking about. Everything came a little earlier than anticipated, but that was fine. The installers were exceptional and had a great sense of humor. They cleaned up after themselves, and did more than they should have. I asked them to cut me a piece of wood if they had any so I could use it as a double lock even though there's a good lock on it, and they did it for me. I loved them.

I bought customized windows from FAS Exteriors since my windows are not of standard size. Plus when the house was built, the arches it has were a different size. The whole thing has to be redone because the arches wouldn't be up to code if they would be replaced exactly the same - the arch had to be bigger. Everything during installation was done great. The installers came in, removed everything, but there wasn't a mess left anywhere. I'm liking the quality of the windows as well.

I wanted all vinyl windows and while looking online, I found FAS Exteriors. I got the honeycomb vinyl window frame from them. Rod, the person I talked to in sales, was very helpful. He figured out a lot of different things for me and told me about the different sizes and ways they open. I also didn't have a problem with the quality of the windows I got.

We got 2 exterior doors from FAS Exteriors and they are of great quality. My neighbors down the road also used them and only had good things to say. I like everything about FAS, they are so snug. I really feel that the efficiency is going to be so much better with them. And also, the team that came to put the doors in were fantastic and very accommodating.

The reviews for FAS seemed good so we went down there and looked and they were helpful. We bought two doors and they fixed the doors we wanted. But we had an issue with communication because, during the initial sales, they didn't call back to let me know who's coming and when. We had to call them multiple times to find out a schedule. We never got a return phone call when we did call in until we finally got ahold of somebody. But I would still recommend them since their quality is very good and the price was compatible.

My husband was particular about windows and doors and FAS Exteriors had exactly what he wanted. The salesman was good other than somehow he didn't get the payment at the beginning. He got it but he couldn't find the paper. That little mix-up caused a couple extra weeks for us to get everything because we didn't know our orders weren't paid for yet. But we’re fine with it since it didn’t hurt us that bad. The people who came to install were very good and the items we got were very nice too. We could tell the difference in the sound at night since we are right at the corner of the east-west and one of the down ramps.However it'd be nice is if the FAS Exteriors salesman would let people know that you can get rebate from Orlando Utilities for replacing all windows and doors. I found out about that through a nurse that came here to take care of me. The salesman doesn't have to guarantee it, but at least check with the utility company.

FAS was my second choice our windows. My first choice was a company that was highly regarded but when I called them, they would not put anything in writing, which was odd. So I called FAS next because they were recommended as being in the same tier as the first company. It was a good experience from the get-go and they gave an upfront pricing. There was a negotiation, but they were willing to put something in writing, which I thought was pretty commonplace, although some companies aren't doing business like that anymore.

They were the low-end Pella ones though and I had nothing but problems with them, so I was in the market for another type, another vendor. I kept hearing Jim Philips on a radio station how satisfied he was with FAS Exteriors so I decided to give them a try. Tom at FAS was very knowledgeable, pleasant, professional, nice, and helpful. When I called him up, he was right there to answer my question. An older gentleman and a young fellow installed regular windows and a sliding glass door and they were very meticulous. They spent a lot of time making absolutely sure that the door was leveled like it was supposed to be and they were very clean and tidy. The items I purchased were absolutely fabulous and I’d recommend FAS to anyone.

I'm very satisfied with the final product. But the overall and the main thing that I was concerned about is I use this door as my main in and out and I want to make sure I could lock it good from the outside as I left. It's an enclosed porch so it had to come to my screen porch door which was too big and it wouldn't come to the door. The installers had taken the door off and then they still had to trim all around the whole frame of this sliding glass door so it would fit to the door. And the installer said that the original salesman should have ordered the door in two pieces as a different way of doing it. So this is like one huge screen and that really wasn't the best fit for what I had here.

I purchased a 3' 10" black French doors with one solid side panel from FAS Exteriors. Their sales team was wonderful that's why I didn't get another estimate. FAS Exteriors have pretty good reviews and I purchased doors of very good quality. Sales team knew their product and made some recommendations. There's a lot of limitations about various brands of doors and we want some specific things that narrowed you down to certain brands, and they're very knowledgeable about that. I was also happy with their installation team since they're pretty quick. FAS Exterior are very good for what they were... Their prices are relatively high compared to others but if you're picky about what you want, they have it and they do a good job with it.

I am really disappointed with FAS Windows & Doors. On April 21, 2015, my partner and I had an FAS Sales Representative come by our house to give a quote on replacing about twenty five windows and two doors. He was absolutely amazing, super personable, and gave a great presentation. We were so impressed by the product that we signed right there with the understanding that I needed to have everything installed by June 1, 2015, because I hired a painter that was starting then and was having an alarm installed once the painting was complete.

We had all of our four windows done with the low-E - some of them were triple glazed and some were double glazed and they were excellent. Initially, FAS Exteriors' sales team were great and promised us the air as far as dates were concerned but they couldn't hold up to them. We were extremely disappointed. We had two sets of windows put in but they said it will be up to six weeks which turned to be 13 weeks. So we changed for our product was very bad and poor. Then they couldn't give us the people that they had said they would give us but another company came out and did an excellent job. But FAS is very poor at organizing their time schedules. We travel a lot and we had to make changes to some of our plans in order to accommodate them. I would definitely recommend them but with caution. The windows are really good. We have no problems with that.

I purchased all the windows in the house and the sliding glass doors from FAS. I chose them because they are pretty well-advertised in our area and my friend recommended them. Their salesman was excellent. He has good level of knowledge and able to thoroughly explain the process to me. I also like their breakdown of how the doors will be put in and the breakdown of each window. The glass doors and windows are standard-sized. The installation people did an excellent job. They cleaned up after the work. Also, the quality of the items were great. They brought down the noise and my last heating bill or air conditioning bill was a little bit lower, so that's good.

I'm in the building business and I had heard of FAS. I knew that the materials were made locally so I just decided to try them. The sales guy came out, I had him price their doors as well as Anderson and I never heard from him again which was fine. The pricing was really good so that made the decision pretty easy. Then they had scheduling people call and they scheduled for the measurements. And then six weeks later they called and said the doors were ready and asked if they can already do the installation. The installers did a great job. I had them install sliding doors and windows in my family room which is a 16-foot opening. They came when they said they would come, installed the project in five or six hours, and cleaned up their mess. It was very pleasant and I definitely recommend them.

We just bought our house last October and one of the window panes in the front part of the house didn't fit. So we contacted FAS to replace those windows. There was supposed to be two of them but the other guy called in so we just had one guy to do all the work. But he was very efficient and professional. We were really pleased and it didn't take too long to finish the job. He cleaned up after himself which is always a plus for me. We noticed a difference with the windows and our light bill is actually cheaper. FAS has also installed some windows for our neighbor so I thought it was pretty cool. I was looking to have some windows put in and I saw FAS Exteriors from a little green book magazine that comes here once in a while with highly recommended people in it. I like that magazine and I think FAS Exteriors wouldn't be in there if they were bad so I went to them. My experience with the sales team member was really good. The windows turned out to be a lot more expensive than I realized they would and I got some of the best ones they had. The salesman explained everything and told me all about what it would be like. The installation people were excellent as well. That's half the battle if you got somebody that can put them in right. They knew what they were doing. One guy told me that I had to have some of wood replaced. So he gave me somebody to do what we should. It turned out to be a real good guy too. So everything about it has really been very satisfactory.

FAS Exteriors was better than what we expected. We had an excellent experience and the whole process was wonderful. The foreman did an outstanding job, and we couldn't be happier with the finished product. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

FAS seemed easy and accommodating during the sales call. It started falling apart a little bit later on. There was miscommunication between the sales rep and the installers; what the sales rep said could happen versus what the installer said could happen. I don't like to give bad reports on people who come out to my house to do work, but I was honestly disappointed with the installation. The first time that they came out here, the installer was visibly bothered that he was told he was going to be replacing window sills at my expense. The sales rep said, "That would not be a problem at all." But the installer said that was not normal and he usually did not do that and would have to talk to the sales guy about it. So that was frustrating to be told one thing by the sales rep and told another when the installer came out.

I was familiar with the products that FAS sells compared to those of other retailers out there. I purchased from them a customized sliding glass door. The quality of the product was good. Everybody who's seen the door would say "Oh my lord. Whatever you have in here is head and shoulders above what you had!" The salesperson we dealt with knew his products well and explained the whole process. I'm kind of in the business of windows and doors, but on a more commercial level, so we had some good dialogue and spoke above the basic level. He explained our options and the financing that they offer and the rebate programs through the government and everything else.

FAS was very professional and clean - they were very good. We had a little mix up with the piper window but they fixed it and didn't give us a problem when they were all put in. They make good on their mistake. It really look good. I'd recommend FAS.

The recommendations on the radio for FAS seem to be so strong. We came in on their showroom on a Saturday and the young gentleman was very helpful. He walked us around to show us what they have for an exterior backdoor. I told him what I was looking for and he made recommendations to match my needs. Although it took them around Thanksgiving time because they would have to order it, they told me they would call as soon as it was in. And they did. I'm very pleased with the installer, as well as his helper. The gentlemen worked with me as far as the time. They were there exactly at the time that they said that they would be and installed the door. They did an excellent job too. They cleaned up. They instructed me on how to use the lock mechanism and so forth.

They were great, right from the sales guy all the way down to the people that came out and put it in, **and the group. Didn't have any issues whatsoever. It went like they said it was supposed to and that’s always a good thing.

Overall, my experience with FAS Exteriors has been excellent. I would definitely recommend them.

The best product I got from FAS Exteriors are the windows. They work with manufacturers which make good windows.

I relied on my brother's research as he was also getting some work done by FAS Exteriors. He shopped at a couple of different folks and narrowed it down to FAS, and that's how I chose them too. I purchased Simonton Windows and had them custom-fit for the house. They're also custom fit for the area because they are hurricane-rated for Central Florida. The sales rep was fantastic and told me what I needed to know to make a decision and that worked out real well. The installation team was very polite, courteous, and professional. The quality of the workmanship was excellent. I have recommended them to a friend and they’ve used them, so that worked out great.

We chose FAS because their sales rep knew everything that we wanted to know right away. He was very good compared to the other persons who presented their product. We purchased their windows and their installation team were wonderful. Everything was very professional and we liked everything they did. Everybody we came in contact with was really, really, really good and I would tell anybody about them. In fact, I've told other people about them.

The salesman was on time, professional and not pushy. We got 4 estimates that were close to each other in price. I liked the sample that the salesman brought with him, so we went with FAS. The office communicated well and kept all appointments. The very best part was the professional installation crew; **! They were neat, used drop cloths and cleaned up at the end of each day. They paid very close attention to every detail, which lead to a beautiful completed product. My house is brick, with two bay windows which took great skill to overcome the sometimes poor, original workmanship. We love the Simonton windows and the P. G. T. sliding glass door. Great product!!

I live in Tampa right now but have a home in Winter Park that needed some windows done. Father and Son’s windows was suggested by another company here in Tampa, after failing to find someone who would go over to Winter Park. The sales guy that I dealt with made his schedule available when I was available to be over there. He showed up on time, and talked through the whole quote. He gave me a number of what he thought it was going to be, and when they did the whole thing, we were within about six dollars of the original quote. He helped me navigate the internal people and did the scheduling of the installers, so, he was involved in it from the time I called until the time the windows were done and paid for. They went out and did a measure and built the windows which were of fairly standard sizes. I was there when they did the install, and I was happy with it.

They installed new French doors that had to be customized because we have an extra-large opening. The door was well-done but they had a bit of an issue because they had to custom-fit one side of the door but it turns out just the way I want with it and they did a great job. They also were able to get the interior lines done to a specific color that I like so everything was great. They gave us a discount from meeting them at a trade show and the sales rep was very knowledgeable and even made suggestions.

I don’t trust the big-box store so I went with FAS Exteriors. I trust them. We had them install new windows and doors where everything had to be cut to fit a particular opening and the guys who installed them were wonderful. As a matter of fact, my partner and I had them over for dinner. I was very impressed. I shall use them again, without a question. I know they're a little higher than everybody else, but I don’t care. They do a good job.

The sales representative was pleasant. He had a lot of information and was very detailed. The installation team did a good job with the windows and the sliding doors and they cleaned up. They were fast and efficient, respectful and very pleasant. We had no issues. My mom was very satisfied with the quality.

I purchased some windows and was able to customize the type and size. FAS came out to measure everything. The sales representative was knowledgeable and helpful. They're straightforward about everything. The installation team was excellent as well. I’m also impressed with the quality of the items. FAS was thorough and attended to every detail. They’ve been generally helpful about everything.

FAS Exteriors were very professional and we were so satisfied with their work. I met them at a trade show and they had what I wanted. The French door that I bought was of good quality. The sales representative and the two workmen and were very good. I would use them again.

We've used FAS Exteriors twice now. We had them give us a new main front door about six months ago and 2 years ago we had them put in a couple of new windows and 2 French doors at the back of the house. FAS Exteriors did their job efficiently and quickly. They knew what they were doing. They did a really good job of installing and the quality of the items was excellent. We would certainly use them again when we needed something like that done.

FAS Exteriors installed our windows and did the six-window pane division, which was exactly how we wanted. Their sales team was very informative, helpful and knowledgeable. And when they came to install, they were very efficient, explained everything and cleaned up. They were great and we really liked them.

It has been a year ago now since I bought some basic windows for the house from FAS Exteriors. They were very high in quality. I love it. The sales rep was good and the installers were very professional.

I moved up here in December of last year while I was looking for a house, and once I moved in, some of the neighbors mentioned that FAS Exteriors was the company to go with. Then I was at Home Depot and I was talking to someone there and some man came up and he said, "Go with FAS, nobody else," so that was it. He said he knew them and he used them, and he recommends FAS to all his friends. That's good enough for me.
