All three plans cover garage door systems and openers, ceiling and exhaust fans and central vacuum systems, but only the Totally Elevated Plan includes emergency lodging reimbursement and home insurance deductible reimbursement.

    Plan details

All three Elevate Homescriptions plans cover central air conditioning, heating systems and electrical and plumbing. The Essentials Plan is the base package, while the Totally Elevated Plan includes all the items listed in the other two plans.

    • Food spoilage

    Elevate Homescriptions coverage caps

Coverage caps are the limit of what the home warranty company will pay to repair or replace an item. Elevate Homescrictions offers different coverage caps for each home warranty. The Totally Elevated Plan has the highest coverage caps, while the Essentials Plan has the lowest.

    Elevate Homescriptions cost

Elevate Homescriptions offers three warranty plans with annual payment options. Each plan has a $75 service fee, and you can expect to pay $450 to $750 a year at the time of publishing.

Received this warranty with the purchase of our new home. They charge you $75 dollars to send a service technician out which is normal in case you are wondering. Of the four repair calls we made only one matter was resolved and coincidentally it was for a $20 dollar exhaust fan motor. They will deny any claim that would cost them money to repair.

I signed up for this service. Had it for a year and called three times about what I thought was covered. Sent a tech out and each time they said the issue wasn’t covered. One was a issue with my water pressure valve which says explicitly they cover but said since it’s a pre-existing condition of old pipes and wear-and-tear, they don’t cover it.

        Reviewed June 15, 2024

We are new to Elevate Homescriptions. Soon after moving into our new home the AC to one of the floors stopped working. Initially Elevate required us to prove that the A/C was working when we bought the house. After several weeks in the heat, they sent someone out. Then 2 days after the A/C contractor came they called and let us know we would need to approve an $800 work fee before they would redispatch the contractor to repair the A/C. They explained that they will cover the cost of replacing the compressor, but to have the compressor installed it requires modifications that they do not cover so we would have to agree to pay for the modifications so that the compressor can be installed.

I asked them to explain how we would be responsible to pay for modifications so they could make a covered repair. Elevate referred me to the "Limitations of Liability" section of the contract and stated they do not cover "modifications". We have the 'Totally Elevated' Plan. We have spent a couple of weeks in the heat, and do not have a projected time for when the covered A/C will be repaired. We have found the company to be difficult to interact with, they work hard to delay and not have to cover items they claim to cover and they will charge you for aspects of the repairs and call them modifications, even though the repair cannot be completed and their contract honored without the 'modifications'.

It feels like we were given a bad recommendation by our real estate agent when we purchased our home and were recommended to get coverage with Elevate. I would consider other options and maybe go with a larger national company. We had American Home Shield in the state we moved from and we never had this issue or the upcharges.
