The individual I dealt with was very clear in the type of program offered and what my monthly/annual cost would be. He was very quick to answer questions; his responses were genuine, he was knowledgeable, and in the end I truly felt that the price for the program selected was excellent. I stressed my budget and he respected that.

Yes waiting on a service call. Always available to report issues. As a widow woman it is assuring to know any home issues I have are less stressful having Choice Home Warranty. This is my first claim and I am unable to report anything final on service at this time.

I had a great experience with this company. The technician early to the appointment! He was knowledgeable and helpful. He had a pleasant attitude and told me ways to maintain my garage doors and the different parts that needed regular maintenance. I would recommend this company to my family and friends!

I'm on oxygen and my lungs are not that good. I could end up in a hospital with pneumonia again. I had to have space heaters. I told American Home Shield I needed somebody out here for the furnace right away. But It was a week later that Best Choice Maintenance finally came out here to do it. If I ever have the furnace or air conditioner to be worked on, Choice Home Warranty shouldn't dare send that same guy out. It took him over a month to get this furnace fixed. He put one wire in, took it out, and put a different one in. Finally, I called him and chewed his butt out. I also called American Home Shield and yelled at them. Whoever I was talking to saw what I said about it going on for over a month.
The dryer wasn't working right. They tore it apart. They found out that it was a breaker switch so Choice Home Warranty sent an electrician out. The guy that worked on the dryer said that we needed a new bigger box in there. That was why we were having some of the problems we were having. When the electrician came out here he said it wasn't that. They didn't do anything. The different ones that I had to talk to act like they don't have too much for brains.

The last time I did a claim, it didn't seem like it went to the correct person. I had problems with my refrigerator. I had water all over the place and I couldn't get ice or water coming from my refrigerator. Every time I told them I needed a plumber, the guy would come and say, “You need a plumber.” I had them come several times before finally somebody came and fixed it. But other than that, they usually come right through. If I had problems with my dishwasher or washing machine, the next day they came and did a fantastic job.
In the last four years, I've never had a problem with Choice Home Warranty. It's in the last four months when I went sour on them. I got so upset because it seemed everybody knew exactly what I was talking about but it didn't work. One of the managers got on the phone during this time. He told me they were gonna give me a credit and that was when they sent me a Lowe’s gift certificate. They didn't leave me hanging. They at least understood what the problem was. They were very nice. If something didn't work out, they would make sure it got corrected for me. But the price has gone up in the last couple of years. I will continue with my contract until it ends, but I'll go with someone else.

I don’t understand why it takes so long to respond to an initial service visit. You guys use to take only a day to respond. Now it takes several days to even come and look at the appliance. Plus I am sure you will have to order the part needed so it will take another week to fully complete the repair.

My fridge had stopped making ice. I made the call on Tuesday, and the repair man arrived on Thursday. There was a couple of parts needing to be replaced. He put the order in for the parts and scheduled his return for the following week to complete repairs. Totally satisfied with the service and our technician.

The person at Choice Home Warranty sold me on stuff. So, I ended up going with them. I've made a few claims with them and I had to pay the $65 deductible. I had issues with them picking and choosing and mincing the words on what they're gonna possibly cover. When they sold me the home warranty, they told me that everything is going to be covered. I paid extra for the swimming pool. When I made a claim on the air conditioning, I had to pay for the motor out of my pocket because of the verbiage that was used so that they didn't have to pay for the claim.
Recently, I had a swimming pool leak and another issue, and they sent me a person who was gonna come to my house. He didn't show up. So, I called the company up the next day. He told me that he doesn't work with them. He doesn't know why they keep calling him because they're terrible to work with. He hates that company. So, I hit Choice back up and told them, "Look, this guy's not gonna come down and fix the swimming pool." They offered me a remediation process, which means that I can get my own person to fix it but before the person fixes it, they have to go through a full process and get approval but meanwhile, my pool is leaking. So they're very techy about things.
My air conditioning had an issue and it leaked and it caused water damage to the ceiling. They said that they're not gonna fix that because that's secondary water damage in some fine print that they got that they don't tell you about on the phone when they sell it to you. Then on my counter area in my kitchen, I had a leak on the faucet. It was dripping. It caused damage to the bottom of the cabinets, which I didn't realize. The guys fixed the faucet but when it came to me realizing what happened underneath, I contacted them about it and said, "Look, there’s other damage happened." They said, "Well, we don't cover secondary water damage yet. We're sorry. We only fix the problem.”
So, if a pipe breaks in the wall and it damages the tile and the paint, they don't cover it. When they sold me the warranty, being somebody who's familiar with construction work and with what it takes to fix things, I asked those questions, and the salesperson said, "Oh, yes. We would repaint it and put drywall up and whatnot." That was a lie. I paid for my warranty for five years. I'm just waiting for my five years to be up and then I'm not gonna probably go back with them again.
As far as their responsiveness when I submit a claim, I can barely get anybody on the phone. The responsiveness is supposed to be 48 hours. I've been waiting on one claim forever and they still never went through with it. So, I ended up having to pay somebody to fix it. They do fix some things but they're very vague on it. If you use the wrong wording to make a claim, they'll deny it and they won't reopen. They don't care. I wish they would take care of the things that I need them to. I tell them, "The reason I hired you guys was to deal with the contractors, so I don't have to," but when they can't find a contractor to fix a service that they offer for 48 hours, and then for about five days, they offer you a remediation process.
The way they offer it is not fair because that means that the person who is the new contractor has to go through all the hoops and loops to get the money from them versus saying, "Okay. Get it fixed and then send us a receipt." They have to get approval. They have to do all these things. So, it makes it difficult for the purchaser because now they're having to do all the stuff that they're paying somebody else to do. Isn't that what I'm paying them to do? I'm paying them to have service providers for the services that they offer for what they charge.

Tech was sent out fast and determined refrigerator needed to be replaced. That part of service was great but where they get 3 stars only is they offered us money on Lowe's gift card which is fine but what they offered does not cover the style I have with the functions that my fridge has and it takes 30 days to get the money so I'm here waiting for the last 2 weeks to hear something.

After encountering an unexpected issue with the plumbing system at my home. The technician that came was very diligent about getting the repairs done and I really appreciated that.. Unfortunately the call to customer service to complete the task was a bit annoying after holding on for so long then the call dropped. Also waiting for approval to get the job done was not quite satisfactory as I had been transferred to several people to try and get the problem resolved. That took well over an hour. However, the contractor was patient and knowledgeable of his job, and I was very pleased with the work that was completed. :)

My garage door was failing. I scheduled service through Choice Home Warranty. I waited several days, not able to use my garage door. The tech came as scheduled, and informed me that the required repairs were not covered by my Choice contract!! I had to pay $775 to have my door fixed, including the $75 Choice fee. Very disappointing to find that after waiting, the required repairs were not covered!! I called Choice to complain and asked to speak with a supervisor. I was told that I’d receive a call from Choice within 24 hrs on 12/6. It is now 12/10 and I have not received a call! Very disappointing, unprofessional service. I have 3 homes “protected” by Choice!!

My washing machine had problems on Saturday evening. I immediately called Choice Home Warranty and placed a claim. By Sunday morning I had an appointment made for the following day, Monday. CHW was quick to get me a claim number and to send a repairman out to help. I would definitely recommend them to a friend or family member.

Our dishwasher was out and after just one visit from Marvin with J & Z Appliance Repair, LLC at **. He diagnosed the problem and the dishwasher is working better than ever... I highly recommend this company to do and and all appliance repairs... We also recommend CHW. They have fantastic to deal with... Thanks again Marvin and Choice.

I was told by the sales person when I signed up that Choice had over 800 service people in my area, yet it took several days to get the same guy out that serviced us with Sears (prior warranty). Told us flat out that there were no parts available and cancelled the parts search on 12/6. I check with Choice on 12/7 and was told they weren't notified by the serviceman. Called Choice after talking to Sears who stated they notified Choice. Still waiting after 3 weeks to find out how Choice is going to honor the warranty I paid for to fix/replace. Very disappointed with Choice so far.

We had mixed experience with the time it took for the contracted servicers to respond. The locksmith was there the next day and did a great job of rekeying our locks. The plumber could not respond for nine days to replace a damaged shower cartridge which made it impossible to turn on the shower. He did a proficient job of replacing the cartridge, and I'm sure he fulfilled the terms of his arrangement with CHW. Apparently CHW puts out requests to all their potential servicers, and whoever can offer the most timely response gets the job. Is nine days an acceptable length of time to get service from a plumber? That's a decision for each potential customer of CHW.

I had a terrible experience with Choice Home Warranty. They sent an unqualified plumber who happened to be a technician in learning underneath a plumber who's not even in the Charleston directory. He's not in the Better Business Bureau. He's an individual who works out of his home, who sent his brother who was unqualified and used an electric saw and tore up my sink top when he was replacing a faucet. Choice Home Warranty said I have to settle anything with the vendor. They don't take responsibility. However, their ad says that all of their plumbers are certified and are investigated and are top-notch. That is false advertising.
I called the man who did the damage to my faucet and he said Choice Home Warranty handles it, which is not true. So finally, I got the brother of the guy who did the damage and he came out and said the repair would take a while. But he has an uncle who's a cabinet person who's gonna come and look to see if he can repair all the chips in my countertop. But it's been going on for weeks. Also, the plumber told me he lived in Summerville, South Carolina close to me. But his address on file with them is a rural road with a trailer on it and not even a commercial thing.
I bought my own faucets and I'm trying to get reimbursement for them and Choice says I have to put the receipt in a document and send it to them. I'm 82 years old and I can't get it in a document form and that's the only way they'll give me back my money. I finally worked and got it uploaded and it said I didn't qualify for this reimbursement. And it's probably because that fly-by-night plumber they sent didn't file it right. The man’s brother said he and I both have to sue his brother who came out and destroyed my countertop. I said it doesn't work that way. I would sue him and then, he would have to sue his brother who was in training and not even a certified plumber.
I've got two faucets I haven't gotten reimbursement from. I am not happy and I would ask for my money back. We paid in advance for four and a half years of coverage from Choice and they deduct 10% for every month that you've had it, which means I wouldn't get back any money anyway. I went with them because they were supposed to be the number one person based on the way they advertise. But now, they're saving money and just getting anybody that they can get to come out and do a job.

I reported a problem on line for my built-in wine refrigerator. I raised the question that this appliance may not be covered under our agreement. I then received a scheduled service date for a technician to come out. As expected, I paid the technician his $75 service fee. The tech told me that it needed a new compressor, and he would put in the claim. The next day I received a letter from Choice telling me that based on the information that I provided, and information provided by the technician, my claim was being denied. Why did you schedule a service company to come out when you did not cover the reported appliance that needed service?

The technician who came out to our house was wonderful and said our 21 year old refrigerator needs to be replaced. It is not working at all and we have lost all our food. He had to unplug the refrigerator. I agreed to the Lowe's gift card on 12-7-23 from Choice and when I submitted it, It said to expect the gift card within 30 days. This is unacceptable when you have a refrigerator which is not working at all. Poor business. Please send Lowe's gift card ASAP. Thank you.

Took three weeks to get parts ordered by technician four days after I filed claim on refrigerator not cooling. He came, "fixed" it but two days later, fridge is still not working. Temperature of both freezer and fridge section registering 80 plus. Two stars is for scheduling someone. They do not return my call or your text message. Still need HELP with this.

I had excellent service with Mertek. They repaired my dishwasher. I would definitely use this company again. My technician was great, his name is Mervin **. I highly recommend him. Very professional and knowledgeable. He actually called and repaired the dishwasher sooner than originally scheduled. I really appreciated that he was so conscientious.

Filed the claim on Saturday late, was contacted the following day by company assigned to respond. Repairman came on Monday at time designated. Was very competent and professional. Diagnosed problem in about 15 minutes but due to age of machine said it might take a few days to obtain parts, Contacted me the following day. Said parts were on the way he would be out the following Monday to complete the repair. He arrived on time the following Monday. Completed the repair in about 20 minutes.

I requested the need for a plumber and when he got here there were a few things he had to do, like uninstall the toilet, that I had to pay out of pocket. I almost had to pay $600 for a camera to go down the sewer pipes but thankfully the city came and did it for free. Even though it was on my side of the property line. Now to get the toilet reinstalled I have to pay $250. I guess plumbing is not fully covered.

The tech was very knowledgeable and gave advise on how to clean the appliance and I thought that was very kind. I'm hopeful my dishwasher will once again function as it should. He didn't find anything malfunctioning but suggested using another style of detergent which I will.

He was on time, and ahead of time. He did what he could to get the dryer working. Although the motor is bad and he was unable to fix the issue. He was professional about the issue. Awaiting results of finding from Choice Home Warranty. Need appliance replacement asap. This is my first claim so let’s see how this ends.

It took 8 days to get an appointment. That's a long time to be without. Need quicker turnaround time. Only negative. Everything else was good. Technician had to go get the part somewhere else because none in truck. Appreciative he found a place to get part and come back and fix dryer.

Choice Home Warranty SCAM has been my home warranty provider for at least 5 years. It appears that when I cancelled policy it does not allow me to access my account to provide specific data to add to this review! I have paid approx. $500 a yr for this home warranty each yr with a service fee ranging from 65-85$/ service. The last straw was that CHW refused to replace piping due to stating under section D then Patrica M ** switched to section C states this is not replaced.
I am concerned that living in a home for over 10 YEARS how ALMOST anything wouldn't fall under wear and tear. The galvanized pipe corroding is wear and tear due to materials outdating and corrosion due to daily use. It would be different if my kid stuffed bobby pins down the drain! I asked to speak with a supervisor and also requested corporates number! I was denied by Patricia.
I had requested a meeting with Jean M prior to Patrica M. Following up and never received follow up from Jean. Prior to this I have expressed several complaints regarding the quality of contractors that have been sent to my home! Which a supervisor also did not follow up with. HUMAN KIND please do not utilize this agency, especially unfortunately if you're a SINGLE woman! I have awaited longer than expected to receive a claim accepted up to months where I have replaced my own air conditioner and a number of other things in my home myself.
The last claim the gentleman snaked my drain as I had wrote in my claim that I already had done this and another entity came out and informed me that there was another machine needed that they did not have and/or pipes would need to be replaced which I also provided within the initial claim to CHW prior to someone coming out due to my service fee increasing despite not utilizing home warranty all year. I typically due preventive work first. He came and snaked my drain and of course it didn't work. Then I was informed he completed the service and I would not receive my money back. FIGURES!!! CHW claimed that its contracts covered the cost of repairs and replacements of major systems (such as an air conditioner) and appliances but did not provide consumers the advertised benefits. Such misrepresentations violate the Ohio Consumer Sales Practices Act.
When a “covered” appliance or system broke down, consumers – following the procedures outlined in the service contract– would contact the defendants to send a technician to diagnose the problem. Oftentimes, defendants would take days or even weeks to send a technician, prompting some consumers to expend time and energy to find a technician on their own. Consumers who went ahead with a repair through a technician they found would then be required to pay upfront and wait for approval or reimbursement from CHW. The Administrators, only to learn that their claims were denied. CHW contract cost $400 to $650 a year, depending on the plan, and the standard per-call service fee averaged $70. The last service fee I paid was $85. ENOUGH is ENOUGH!!

My dishwasher stopped working. I entered the problem into the CHW website. Within a day I heard back, that a tech was scheduled for a Tuesday. The repairman came out as scheduled. He didn't have the needed part so he came back with the correct part, the following week. Now the dishwasher is working great.

To be honest CHW took a little longer than I thought it would take to find someone to come to my place and do the job I had asked to be done. The people that they finally found were very good and very nice. I was happy with the job done.

Updated on 02/01/202: My heater was working some days and not others. Leon from EMS came out a couple of times, and I was very pleased with his services. I am in the process of getting the unit replaced. Mark from EMS was very pleasant to work with regarding the replacement, and he patiently answered all my questions. Quite a few things are not covered under my warranty, which led to a pretty hefty out-of-pocket for me, but I guess it is better than paying full replacement, install, and disposal costs. I am thankful for that. I am hoping all goes well with the replacement and new unit. Thank you.
Original review: I am very happy with how my first claim with Choice Home Warranty was handled. My heater had quit working. I was scheduled quickly and Leon from EMS was very courteous and knowledgeable. Heat was restored on first visit, and he returned two days later with a circuit board that needed to be replaced. I had an air conditioner problem and Choice Home Warranty sent somebody and they fixed it. Now, I have the microwave problem and the claim is a big hassle. The guy from the company that Choice contacted took a look at the microwave but never sent the report. I called Choice and they said they haven't received the report from that company. So, they asked another company to take a look at it. And this time, Choice got the report. They sent me an email asking me to go to Lowe's and have somebody come and take a look and give an estimate. And they can go back to Choice and discuss what they need to do. I'm gonna be out of country for three weeks. So most probably, in January, I'll get hold of them and have them come and take a look and give the estimate.
Sometimes, the people at Choice would say there are so many calls online. Then you just hold on for one minute and there's somebody on the line. They would say they may not be able to help and to leave a message. So, I don't understand why they try to discourage people talking to somebody when it takes only one minute and somebody comes up on the line.

My child jammed the plug down the drain and neither myself of his father could get it out. The guys from Flawless came all the way from Staten Island and fixed it in under 5 minutes! I don't know how they did it but they saved the sink, the vanity, and got the kids out my bathroom. Thank you so much!

How come I get phone calls and email. Wanting me to sign up for Choice Home Warranty. When I have already got Choice Home Warranty policy. I would like to have a contact showing that I have a policy and who do I call when I need help. If I can't get the policy cancel my policy.

This is my first experience with Choice Home Warranty and I have to say it was great. The Tech was very professional and friendly. He had to order a part and I've already gotten a date for him to come back to install it. So far, I'm happy. Will be completely satisfied when the part is installed. They also keep you updated on the progress of your claim, with any delays. The technician also kept me informed with what he was doing.

This experience is with the repairman from Sears. He was great! Very friendly and professional! Explain everything to me! Communication was great! And told me the next steps! I would recommend him and his shop 100%! As for Choice Home Warranty I can’t really give a fair review yet. When I said I would switch from my last warranty place to you guys to try you out because the other one raised their prices high I was told by someone from CHW that my first repair service would by free as a complimentary courtesy from CHW! But when I made my first repair service, which is the only repair service I needed so far, I was told there was no complimentary service deductible so I had to pay the $85.
Putting that all beside for right now, you did send a great repairman, you did notify my on my next steps to get my dryer fixed and you did so in a timely manner! Which is great! So when my parts come and the repair is all done and if I’m happy or not, I will be able to give you a fair review! But for right now it would have to be a 3. Because I was lied to about the free complimentary first deductible payment. I have been a customer for over a year now with no repairs till now! It’s not like I’m trying to get something out of you guys! And now your deductible is just as much as the last warranty place I had! But anyway even though all my appliances are fairly new and my fridge was new last year, I don’t like to be without a warranty! So that is all for now! I hope you understand my position right now!

I couldn’t have asked for more from Choice Home Warranty. I called them because my refrigerator had stopped working. They had a technician there the next day and he fixed it completely. I’ve been with Choice Home Warranty for a few years and they’ve always come through when I needed them.

My claim for HVAC repair was denied despite being a CHW client to years. My HVAC is under yearly maintenance contract, was serviced in Aug 2023, I change air filters monthly and hardly ever run the heat as my condo is in FL. My claim for a failed blower motor was denied because CHW said the heating coils were dirty and my system wasn’t properly maintained. I did every maintenance the local HVAC company has ever suggested. I believe CHW looks for any excuse to deny a claim. I will not renew my policy after this experience and will not recommend CHW to anyone. I regret purchasing a multi- year policy. Can I cancel the policy and get the remains portion refunded?

Angel was very competent and patient setting up the service at both of my homes. I was very pleased with his ability and helpfulness. My most important concern is lack of communication among CHW, Tech, and plan owner. Appts not kept should at least be acknowledged. When appt was missed by tech, had to wait another week without a refrigerator. Everyone has phone and email address. Why no communication? I was doing some research picking a home warranty. I came across Choice home warranty. It also had really good reviews online on US news services report. The customer service representative I worked with, Adam was very helpful and worked hard with his manager to get me a good deal. He pushed enough to get me on a long term plan but never forced me to the point I was annoyed and didn't want their service. So I appreciated that. I hope the warranty ends up being as good as the customer service and sales.

My sink was plugged up since Thanksgiving. On 12-6 I had to finally find a plumber myself. I have been lied to about two plumbing contractors. I called those companies and they had no idea what I was talking about. They said they had not been contacted by CHW. And now to get reimbursed ya'll make it difficult for me since I am not computer savvy. It's been a horrible experience. At least let me mail a copy of invoice.

The amount they said my microwave was worth was not enough to cover the replacement. Also, I have an extra freezer and I wish I was notified that that isn't covered. HVAC, MD is a very reliable company. The technician Alex, is doing a good job from beginning to end. He informs us what time his ETA, he checks the heating system thoroughly and explains to us what is wrong. He replaced our thermostat the 1st visit, but the heater is still acting up, we asked him to Come back and check it again and he came back the following day. Today he is coming back again to replace the module. He definitely knows what he is doing.

Serviceman was expeditious in resolving the problem with my heating unit. He stated the previous person to work on my unit installed an incorrect thermostat so when the heat was turned on it also kicked the AC on. Once a new thermostat was installed, only the heat turned on as needed.

The company 3N1 Appliance Repair did a great job in fixing the problem and replacing the broiler unit in 3-4 days, but they weren't notified by Choice until over 7-8 days after I called Choice and then 3 days later 3N1 showed up...This was almost 2 weeks later than my request for help. This is unacceptable, since it really screwed up my Thanksgiving plans. I would be better off dealing with 3N1 myself, which are excellent. Totally disappointed with claims department. They denied my claim by not going by what the tech turned in. The tech reported hìnge broken by NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR, claims department said it was from physical abuse so that they would not have to pay for repair! My wife is 70 years old and I am 71. No way we physically abused oven. It is a high end "Viking" stove. I feel that they did not want to pay for the high cost parts.

Requesting a service call with Choice Home Warranty (CHW) was super simple on their website. Within less than an hour of requesting the service call, I received notice that an appointment was setup through Sears. Sears customer service is nearly nonexistent. It was impossible to contact and talk to a real person at Sears. Per the Sears instruction prior to the day of service, I was supposed to get a call for an approximate time and confirmation. I had no idea whether or not the service person was coming and no way to get a hold of Sears customer service to find out this information. However, the Sears technician that came and worked on the washer provided great service. If the Sears customer service was good, I would have given this a five star review.

Choice Warranty sent out K & K Plumbing to my home. The guys assessed the situation and determined that I needed a new control as the pilot kept going out and this had just started. They ordered the part and immediately contacted me and came back, put the new part on and I am back in business with hot water. I had a stove that went bad. A guy came out and fixed that. I had a washer and a dryer that I had problems with and they took care of the problem. The only problem I had was with the refrigerator. It wouldn't work and Choice Home Warranty said it was my fault so I had to buy a new refrigerator for $1,200.

I'm not happy at all with the providers that Choice Home Warranty has chosen. Where I live is in a big city and they get people from way far away that don't wanna do the job or drive that far and don't finish the job when they get the job. Also, you can't talk to a person. You can only get ahold of Choice Home Warranty on a computer or a voice messaging system. They sent me a survey asking me how I liked the plumber that came to fix what I needed fixed. By the time he had finished the job which was three weeks down the road, it was too late to tell them what my opinion was. I'm very unhappy with Choice Home Warranty and I'm probably gonna change.

The first person who came on 12/4/2023 looked the outside drain and said it was a sewer problem and he left. He never came inside to hear my concerns about the noise when the toilet flushes. The repair that came on 122023 came inside and told me the issues was with the toilets, but he didn't fix the issues. He went outside and said he clear up the drain. Received the $85.00 and said he thinks the tree roots are in the sewer. He said he will contact Choice Warranty to see if he will be approved to fix the sewer problem.

Choice's marketing was very convincing. The initial price appears to be reasonable. But then when you see what they're not going to cover and how long they're going to take and all of the nonsense that you have to put up with, the price is not reasonable. Also, the website is terrible and customer service is very bad. On the whole, my experience is not very positive.
Submitting a claim is very lengthy. The thing is they don't email you. You have to go on to their website and log into the claim and little messages are left. Each time you call somebody on the phone, you get a different representative that makes believe that there's no record of things. They come back on the phone and they say, “Oh, yes. I see you called two days ago.” It's a farce.
Our heat was out last year. We had a very bad cold snap here and it was below freezing. It was in the 20s for several days and nights. My husband and I are senior citizens. He has a heart condition. We could not get anybody here because of Choice's process for five or six days. You have to wait for it to be approved. It just was a very tedious process. If it's a repair on something that you don't need to use, you can do without it for a couple of days or weeks. But heating and air conditioning is usually crucial. This summer, we struggled with air conditioning. We ended up paying out of pocket to a provider that we called ourselves, even though we have a contract because it was already 14 days and Choice kept on asking for more documentation.

The furnace portion on my AC furnace unit went down. It's an old unit and the parts couldn't be replaced or found so the unit had to be replaced. Choice Home Warranty did everything according to their contract. Their limited liability gave $3,000 to the replacement cost which left me a $6,000 bill but they fulfilled their obligation per contract and I'm very happy with the service that I received from them.

They've had to do work on my water heater and my refrigerator. This year, they had to replace my air conditioning unit. Submitting the claims is easy but it takes them a while to find a technician. Other than that, the techs have been informative and they tell me what I need to do to prevent any other issues. They suggested things that I was able to get done like maintenance to the refrigerator. The quality of work done was great. Choice is a reliable warranty company. Their coverage is very comprehensive. The reps contact me when it's time for my plan to expire and offer me a new one. They try to give me the same pricing I had before or if something has gone up, they tell me ahead of time.

Put in a claim on Monday night when we discovered the refrigerator was not cooling. Had a response within minutes. Received an email during the night that the repair had been assigned to A&E repairs. Received another email on Tuesday morning confirming an approximately timing. The repair man showed up yesterday, Tuesday, and completed the repair by 5:30 pm. Less than 24 hours service is awesome. The tech you sent was good, and confirmed our suspicions that the last guy who fixed this faucet several months ago, put in a defective product. I'm happy with the job he did, but feel that I should not have to pay for it. I think a faucet should last longer than that. I'm sure If I wasn't using CHW, I would have been able to have it fixed free of charge, and I wouldn't be out another $65. What good is this service of yours If it costs me $130? Also, you still haven't found a tech to fix my exhaust fans. This has been going on for months. The last guy you said was coming, called us and said they discontinued doing jobs for you months ago, and couldn't understand why you said they'd be fixing this one. Choice Home Warranty use of automated response site limits the communication between customer and needs. Once a technician is sent out and paid for by customer, no work is done on site until CHW receives and approves technician's request. It takes weeks to get technician to show up and most of them are not licensed or trained in the area requested. Call centers cannot provide customer with updates that are specific to the policyholder. This company should be shut down due to not providing service that they are obligated to do. It's a SCAM.

Choice technicians most of them gave us the wrong information. They didn't fix the problem and cause more on top. We not only pay the $55 monthly fee and the $75 service but we HD to hire a plumber and heating cooling. We even had to call Four Season. I best guy is Jim and he fix the problem. I wouldn't advise anyone to deal with choice home warranty. I hate We in Dolton, Illinois did. They are crooks. We ask them to cancel our contract and they still charge us. Choice chose an electrician to do the repair and they sent a very nice technician but he did not know the Nest thermostat. He did eventually get it running. Then over Thanksgiving about 8 days later it happened again. I called Choice and they said I should have asked for HVAC tech and they wouldn’t pay for one. I told them to forget it. I'd get it fixed. The first claim I had was fantastic. The second not so much. I now have a third claim so we’ll see. I am a 75 year old widow. I don’t know anything about this stuff and that’s why I researched and chose Choice. I do hope other experiences will be what I expect.

The price of the plan is reasonable. They've done a couple of things for me which I was happy with. But they let me down. My stove won't stay lit. Choice called a technician who came out on the 16th of November. The techs said they couldn't fix it and that they would have to order the part. It's been three weeks and they can't get the part. That upsets me because according to the contract, it's supposed to be taken care of within 48 hours. It tells me that Choice is not following through with their customer service. When I talk to them, they say, “Okay. We'll get back to you." Days go by and not a call or email. Their customer service stinks.

You do not have good communication with your service contractors, which affects the flow and proper time for the service repair to be done. You would automatically and arbitrarily consider all items under manufacturer warranty; thus, there is no coverage for the parts or units to be changed, leaving the burden of proof on customers to prove otherwise. Hence, it is painful and time-consuming to call the dealership or manufacture ourselves for it. What kind of customer service is that? Basically, you would only cover the labor cost. That’s deceptive and might call for legal issues. Even your service contractors said so and have the same negative opinion about you/Choice.

I was having an issue with the timer display on my built-in microwave. The technician who came to service was on time and very nice. He documented the issue and notified Choice Home Warranty on the matter. As the microwave unit is now discontinued, the unit could not be fixed. As the microwave is a Frigidaire Professional Series Built in model that needed to be replaced, Choice Home Warranty only could offer $191 to replace the unit. I was extremely dissatisfied with this number as a unit to replace a built in microwave run greater than $500 and I would also need to get a 30-inch trim kit which cost around $275. The total cost of a replacement would be around $800 and the only thing Choice Home Warranty could offer was $191 which is not even a quarter of the price.
I was in touch with a claims specialist and made a 15-minute appointment with that individual and verbalized my disappointment that the maximum they could offer is $191. She reviewed the case and said the amount offered was correct and that’s all they could. Even despite telling her that this amount doesn’t even cover even half of the unit, she said that was all they could do and when my 15 minutes were up, she abruptly ended the conversation stating she had another appointment and can’t help me further.
What is the point of paying for insurance if the unit cannot even be replaced? I also have to pay a service fee for each time a technician comes out so the amount offered with the difference is much lower than that. Very frustrated with my experience.

My garage door was stuck open and it took Choice 6 days to get a tech out to look at it. Choice kept sending me notifications for the wrong days and the wrong times. The repair company called on Monday and said they would be out late Friday - Choice kept sending notifications that I should expect someone Tuesday and then then after Tuesday passed, they said someone was coming Friday morning (they never did get the time correct). After the long wait, nothing was covered so I should have just arranged the repair myself and I wouldn't have had to wait almost a week without use of my garage.

The contractor rescheduled with me. Luckily I was available on the alternate day. I was then contacted again for yet a different day. The technician was on time. When it came time to pay there was no mechanism for credit card use. The tech had to call in and then I was told of a possible transaction fee. I then scrambled up the cash. The water runs hot but looking at the knob to the shower it is not flush with the plate. Should the knob come off I will let them know.

This was for once a smoother transaction with Choice Home Warranty and the technician was very knowledgeable and friendly. He explained everything he did in detail that was understood. Also gave tips and tricks to keep your HVAC up to par. Would definitely recommend his company for all HVAC needs in the future.

I called to inquire about plan options, coverage, etc and the customer service rep kept rushing to close the deal. I had to interrupt him several times to ask questions about the policy before I made the purchase. The rating is strictly for this customer service experience and I completed this review because they sent me a survey to do so. I'm hoping this was isolated to the one rep and hoping the home warranty policy meet our needs. We will give their products a chance but customer service is not off to a good start.

After numerous attempts to find the missing parts and dates to have repair work done still not working! Waiting 8-9 hours each day for service! I believe there should be better communication between client and company! This should not happen again and hopefully it will not. Placed order a week ago today. I called back on Friday to see what was happening and got told she thought something would show up Saturday. No call yet or message online for here; and I don't see that anyone is going to come to our house to fix our dryer.

This is the first time I use this kind of service just to receive the answer I feared: “Not covered”. So upsetting to waste money on this “warranty”. They will very often find a reason not to cover. I was ready to purchase 4 more policies for my rentals but no. It’s a No No. Waste of money.

Very good job! Nichols Plumbing communicated very well throughout the appointment process. I would definitely recommend Nichols Plumbing. Rick was excellent. Rick solved the problem and completed all documentation in an excellent manner. Choice Warranty was a bit slow in scheduling an appointment but it was the Thanksgiving holiday. I understand this could have made a bit slower to contact and to get help. That is just a suggestion of input for future scheduling with Choice.

I purchased online, paid 1 year, and immediately received a phone call from a "sales manager" trying to save me money by taking more money. I advised him I paid 1 year and was on fixed income retired. He came back with "Oh, you're a senior, I can save you more money." He was in sales mode and was unable to listen. Instead he told me I was being difficult because I did not have another $600+ to save money just prior to Christmas, medical bills, etc. He then wanted monthly payments for the next two months. I paid a year so I don't have monthly payments. So, we'll see how coverage goes, so far, not a pleasant experience!

Choice Home Warranty had good service, knowledgeable, fast and friendly. My heat went out and was blowing cold in the mid of a cold front, and a tech came out and found the problem and fixed it quickly. Had an electrical issue and someone came out and handled it also.

I called for another policy and got it. That experience was great! The problem was that the salesman, don't remember his name. Would not shut up! I would ask a question, and he would go on and on about it. I actually told him I didn't care about details at this point, but he kept going on and on. I even told him I was going to hang up if he didn't shut up! 15 minutes of this was too much for me! Probably a good salesman, but he almost lost my business for not shutting up!

Replace leaking shut off valves. Did a good job on the first valve. Then we see other valves that wouldn't shut off. So, plumber was able to replace that one too. Of course, I had to pay another premium for that second valve replacement. Cry hard once is what I have always been taught. Thank You Choice Warranty.

Responses are not soon enough. The contractor on my last service calls used band-aid-like repairs instead of replacements, for instance, the kitchen sink was repaired but weeks later the same issue reoccurred. My toilet was, and is still leaking. The same plumber arrived. Added what he called a wax ring to the already installed wax ring that clearly was not working. He also mentioned the floor surrounding the toilet was wet and sinking! No receipts at either call. Today it's my furnace and I'm hoping that I get much better service, or I'll have to make some changes.

I contacted Choice Warranty about my issue of Bathroom Tub Faucets leaking. They arranged an appointment for the next day. Chris from Sasson Plumbing arrived on schedule and checked the issue. He advised he could implement repairs but would require one week to order the parts. I have now a few days later been contacted and advised my next appointment has been established. I am to date pleased with the progress and thank you to Choice Warranty for reacting professionally and quickly. Chris with Sasson Plumbing is also very Personable and Professional. Thank you.

Fluorescent 4 ft kitchen light began to flicker. Called Choice got contact info for repair service. Called, got an appointment for the following week. Service man came out, took out the ballast, reconnected the wires and installed new LED bulbs. All is good for now! Choice HW got it done without any hassles or further contact.

The automated telephone system was challenging to navigate, however, I eventually got to speak to a live person. I found the representative who spoke with me to be helpful and kind. I had to have him repeat a part of his request a couple of times, but he was very helpful once we understood each other.

I would have given 5* if there wouldn’t have been our stressful experience with the repair of our microwave. This was a ca $600,00 microwave and we got $199 to buy a NEW cheap microwave. Since the arrangement In our kitchen didn’t allow to put in a puny microwave/not built-in/like we had, we had to pay for parts and labor WAY above to had the original microwave repaired. You state in the contract that you will replace a broken appliance with an equal quality unit in such a case. This is the reason for the 3 stars. Otherwise we had 2 services for which I would have given a 5 star.

Choice staff are helpful and easy to work with. They try to help you quickly. They usually answer the phone sooner than later and the staff is helpful and asks if you need anything else. Sometimes we need an explanation and they explain it to us. They also usually get things done fast so we can replace broken items in our home.

Our LG TROMM washing machine began leaking on the backside against the wall. We contacted CHW whom ref'd the issue to SEARS. SEARS dispatched Repair technician "Muhammad" who did an outstanding repair job!! He was on time, professional and totally customer focused. We are totally satisfied with this repair from CHW.

Unable to completely turn off hot water. 2 full days and no one has accepted job, then 1-2 more days before someone comes. Water bill adding up. Faucet handle broke off and shut off valve not turning completely off. I know it’s the weekend but things do break on Saturday and Sunday. I will have to turn all water off to house soon.

I requested a service call and they came within a day. The technician, Chris, was very professional and knowledgeable. He had our heater working within about an hour. Outstanding job! He found the problem and was able to fix it where another company quoted over a thousand dollars for parts and repair. I would recommend this service technician at any time.

Carlson appliance was great. Choice should use them all the time in the Omaha area and never use Sears appliance again. Choice provided great service also. No complaints at all as my claim was processed quickly and the technician fixed the unit on the initial call after he diagnosed the issue prior to arrival. I have no negative comments to provide. Our air handler was not coming on with the heat. Heat worked, but not fan. CHW sent out a tech the next day> Tech found issue to be a control board. CHW immediately approved the work and the tech returned as soon as the board came in. Tech installed in 10 minutes.

Gabriel came from Spincycle appliances. He is very professional, helpful, and he educates you on your appliances. Great service Tech. I love the knowledge he has and also being so experienced. I actually request him when we have a appliances issue. We learned more about our Jenn Air stove from him this week than we've known for 21 years.

Refrigerator went down, put in with Choice Home Warranty for Repair, Sears Service Technician show up next day, order parts all cleared by Choice Home Warranty. Total cost of repair was over $300 dollars, our part $85 dollars. Want to thank the Sears Service Technician for a job well done and highly recommend. Third time in 4 years I've had to use Choice Home Warranty and they have never let us down. Highly Recommended.

Both Technicians who came out were very good. They explained the process of what they were going to do. They were very professional and answer every question I have. Their attention to detail was excellent. From the minute they got there, they made sure their shoes were clean. I had a leaking toilet. Choice found a repair person within 24 hours and scheduled the appointment. The designated repair person called to confirm and discuss my problem to gather further information. He was polite and arrived on time. He explained the problem and the repair. For my first time using this company it was not good. I needed a plumber and they sent an appliance tech. Still didn't fix the clogged pipe but is charging me 2 times for the same issue. So not instilling much trust so far. The appliance tech was nice and all but was unnecessary to have come out for a pipe leak. The Choice company should have sent a plumber in the first place.
Even though he didn't actually do anything, I still had to pay the appliance guy $100.00, and next I get to pay the plumber $100.00for the exact same problem. I should have only been charged once for this issue. The next thing that locked the one star rating for choice home warranty is the call center agent. First off I could not understand her with her accent and had to ask her to repeat questions multiple times. Then when I tried to explain the situation about having to pay twice for the same service call, she got dismissive and had an attitude with me.
I wrote to the customer service department to get the issue resolved and have not heard back at all. Like I said this is my first time using this company and if this is how they want to treat their customers, I am seriously disappointed. I will probably be dropping them and going back to Cinch Home warranty, at least they were easy to get a hold of and had much better customer service. If this company had any redeeming quality it was just in pricing, but guess you get what you pay for and at this point I will pay for the quality service from cinch over being treated like an ATM from Choice.

As of now, my water tank is still broken, leaking water and we still have no idea when we will actually have any hot water in our home. From the time we placed the request for service (App not working) I had to use the website to place the request. I needed to call 2 days later to follow up with your customer service personnel to see when I would hear from a service provider. It is unfair to be asked rate the repair personnel until the job is done. I can tell you that American Home Shield responds quicker to requests from customers when a claim is submitted.

I set up a claim to have my air conditioning system examined. My concern was with Auxiliary Heating coming on when the system is in the Heat mode. The serviceman explained how the Auxiliary Heating worked which I had no knowledge about. Nevertheless the serviceman evaluated the system which set my mind at ease. The serviceman was prompt, pleasant, and courteous. I recommend the company that Choice sent.

The A & E technician said he could not fix the microwave so he had recommended a replacement. I told my friends and they said they would wait and see. They have expressed an interest in Choice but are waiting to see what happens in my case. To date, I haven't received any communication concerning the microwave. I understand it will take time but that is the situation as it stands now. Hope to hear from you soon.

I had to finally, after 9 days find a tech myself. The contact I had with the service reps was totally unproductive and I was not treated with courtesy especially by someone named Gabby. She also would not refer me to the Resolution Dept. I had to find them on my own. Jasmine and Matthew in Resolution worked with me in a professional manner and we came to a satisfactory conclusion. They both treated me with respect.

I was disappointed by the service rate per visit shown after signing up for your service. I have been comparing home warranty providers for months now. Consumer Reports have listed your company as the best so I wanted to try your company. I found that you are one of the most or the most expensive of all. This does not bother me if you’re the best but I was very very disappointed that you have the highest per service appointment fee I have ever seen. I had a claim in on my heater for a year. They had someone come in at 9 months. But could not get to it. The basement had flooded. The dryer on the other hand. They came quickly. I was told it was not worth fixing. Was told they would send me an e-gift card to Lowe’s. It would take 30 days. Why that long? It should only take like 5 minutes. And the card is only for $355. The dryer is only 2 years old. And cost me $1000. That and Lowe’s is 40 miles away. Will see if they even send it.

I had 2 issues resolved, both by different technicians. Both were courteous and respectful of my home and my time. They resolved the issues quickly and thoroughly. I would definitely recommend to a friend. They were very knowledgeable about what they were doing and answered questions that I had. My toilet issue was an adjustment that I couldn’t do and my stovetop was a little more difficult but both got resolved.

Technician from Sears. Very nice did good job. Made a mistake and ordered to water filters for the refrigerator. I had to pay for both of them which I didn’t appreciate. May bill was suppose to be 85 for service and 75 for filter. They billed me over 200.

I can honestly say after trying 2 other home warranty companies this is the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing. They wouldn't pay out of my washer after multiple claims on it and it finally went out. They only paid me 242.00 on my dishwasher. Which cost me more than $1200.00 out of pocket for a home warranty plan that does nothing for you on top of a $65 dollar service fee. Don't use this company. They are the worst.

The service man Greg was very good and thorough. Explaining what he was doing. He will be coming back to install a new part and machine will be fine. He cleaned up the dishwasher and explained that he will be back with the correct part after he figured out what the problem was.

The company got my heater fixed and I'm appreciative of that. The tech didn't explain what was wrong with my heater or what parts he replaced. He didn't give me a receipt to show the work that was done or showed I paid in full. I'm thankful to have heater in working order again.

It was quick and simple to place a claim and the technician was able to get approval for the repair right away. I thought my washing machine was having spin issues - but it wasn't. The experience with CHW was far better than with the previous competitor's insurance plan, which only covered appliances. With CHW, there were no phone calls on hold or being transferred from representative to representative. Everything was handled online.

This has to be the worst home warranty company who has customer service agents that can’t answer any questions regarding a claim and the cost of repairs. They don’t want to pay for covered repairs and quote the contract language that doesn’t apply to the product that needs repaired. I will never ever recommend this warranty company.

The gentleman that answered my request for rekeying my home was polite, personable, quick at the job and even fixed my doorbell without a second thought. He explained what he would be doing as he went from door to door. He was efficient as each lock was quickly changed after quoting price for extra doors.

Website appointment set up was simple to use. Appointment was set quickly even over the course of a weekend and confirmed with an email. Vendor called to confirm appointment. Technician send a text when he was on his way. Showed up on time, proceeded to fix the problem quickly, and so far the dishwasher works as if new.

This company pretty much decided what the outcome was, even if it was wrong! There is no third party decision! They think you’re wrong, you’re wrong! They’re very rude!!! My situation was completely justified. Even the tech that came to diagnose was telling me. It’s not about right or wrong. It’s about what benefits Choice Warranty. I tried to write a review earlier, but all of a sudden, the problem was on Choice's end. In this case, what do you do. It is absolutely ridiculous!!!! A broken part on my refrigerator failed. They say it is not due to regular wear and tear. It clearly is. How is this issue fixed. Then, I try to give an honest review, they tell me they’re having issues on their end. What you you possibly do.!!!

The workmen were professional and repaired our lighting within 5 days. They had to get approval from Choice before returning to repair and restore our lighting. It would have been 5 stars if the repair could have been done sooner. The single payment for using this service is the best thing about a home warranty plan.

Mike from Infinite Life Electric was extremely friendly, professional, thorough, helpful and solved the problem by replacing the fan/light receiver after troubleshooting all the components. Mike fixed me up in a minimal amount of time. He had the universal receiver already on the truck. Very happy with the quick response from Choice Home Warranty by sending them out the following day after my filing the claim.

This company was someone I was really high on and have brought at least 6 customers to them in the past 4 years. Just recently, they decided to increase my co-pay - after I had negotiated $45.00 co-pay they decided there was a "Glitch" in the system. Maybe they had problems elsewhere but this was clearly a breach in our agreement - it was verbally discussed and very clear on what the Co-pay would be. I rarely use this the warranty service and the $15.00 extra dollars won't kill me but this is clearly a rip off - buyer beware - If they did this to me, I'm not sure what they will do to you. I tried calling their top tier management but was only able to reach some mid level guy that was unprofessional and a smartass.

I just cancelled my claim. I filed a claim on my HVAC system on 11/17/23. The first technician scheduled did not show up at appointment on 11/20/23. The second technician scheduled came on 11/24/23 but I did not hear back from him. I called him on 11/30/23 but no call back. Both of these technicians live a good distance from my home and I need to have someone I know that lives near my home. I am going to use a contractor I know, trust, and is responsive to any issues that my occur in the future. I just cancelled the appointment and claim and will use the technician I know and trust.

The representative was patient and able to answer all my questions. He was knowledgeable, informative, and polite. Overall, it was a great experience. I talked with him this morning and signed up but I haven't yet received my receipt for payment or policy. I'm sure it may take a day or two but wanted to mention it in case there was a glitch. He instructed me to also check my Spam folder which I did but it's not there either. It would be great if someone could check on this.

Repairman called and showed when said he would. Ran a diagnostic and found the water valve was faulty, repaired so we could use until he had a new valve. When he gets the valve he will be back to replace it. He told me he would call and set up a time and that would take a few days to get part.

You don't seem to care about the customer. It took 9 days to get someone out to look at the problem. I know that the vendor immediately submitted their inspection report. Your portal was never updated, I was told to upload the report which I didn't have. When I called I was told to contact the vendor, which I did and found out the request was approved. Your company did nothing to notify me of a resolution and the portal still hasn't been updated.

I made a claim on 11-15-2023 and plumbing was scheduled with a contractor was scheduled for the 11-22-2023. I reached I contact Choice for a more urgent appointment on 11-19-2023 and was told that rescheduling would not be optimal. The became worse on the 11-20-2023 and another plumber had to come to stop the leak on that day. I had to file insurance claim and pay that plumber totaling $5246.00. How can I get repayment for your lack of urgency?

It took a few days for the appointment to be set up, but he did a great job and was efficient. The only thing negative is they give you a 8am to 5pm window for the appointment. Would be nice if they would narrow it down to morning or afternoon so you could plan your day better. Otherwise, no issues.

Updated on 12/05/2023: The gentleman came out yesterday. Showed up on time. Was knowledgeable and polite. Knew what the problem was. A sensor is bad. I looked it up on line. Costs about $8. This is after I called on Thursday night when the heat stopped functioning in the house. Said it needed to be approved. Which it was later that day. Now I’m waiting to hear from them as to when they will come install it. I could go buy it myself but I’m sure that would mess everything up. Still waiting. Still waiting. Still waiting.
Original Review: Heat went out last night. Called in for a claim. Was walked through a telephone process. This morning I received an email that they’re working on it. So the jury’s out. I’m waiting for an appointment. Of course this happens on the first day of a cold snap.

I've been looking for a home warranty provider in my area for a couple of years, so when the ad came through my email, I was intrigued by the 20% discount, plus one free month option. I was also delighted that I could get an immediate quote - and decided to purchase. But during the purchase process, the chatbot came up and offered $50 more off. Turns out that taking that $50 discount would cost me my 20% discount. Thankfully, I did the math. I also asked Chat Bot what the service fee was and was told $85 per visit. When the contract came, it turned out that it was actually $100 per visit. Don't appreciate the bait and switch.
Finally, I received a phone call within a couple minutes of my submission - wanting to tell me about additional programs I might be eligible for. I placed the order because it was quickly done on a break from work; not interested in an immediate follow-up phone call to try to up-sell me - especially in the middle of the work day. Suggest you do follow ups via email or at least offer the customer the option of not receiving sales calls, but using email instead. Thank you.

It was easy filling out the online claim filing. The response time in locating a repair company was great. Scheduling was done in a reasonable time. There was great communication with Jade Electric as he showed up at the scheduled time and completed the repair after extensive tracing the wiring. He is very knowledgeable and professional. I am 100% satisfied.

The technician was knowledgeable, efficient and timely. He gave us information we did not know and had our garage door working in no time. I also had an appointment within a few hours of the time I requested one with this company. So I am more than pleased with the company that provided the service and Choice Home Warranty.

Small crack in pump leaking. Claim denied because it was stated not to be due to normal wear and tear? No physical damage occurred since can’t even see the pump so why isn’t it wear and tear and age of pump?? Claim denied after they reviewed! They could not provide answer as to why pump was leaking even though their service tech said normal wear and tear! Check out other warranty companies before using these guys!!!

Really good service and experience with Choice Warranty. It has been great value for the money. I have availed warranty services 2 times so far and experience both times has been great. David from Sears who looked into the refrigerator was exceptional and helpful. I will recommend Choice Warranty to my friends anytime. Keep up the good work.

Serviceman wasn't friendly but completed the electrical repair, it took over a week to get the repairman to my house. Part of the house had no electricity. As an elderly woman CHOICE is a blessing. Affordable when you need it. I would recommend CHOICE and its highly rated service. It is satisfying to know your home is protected and service repair will be provided.

Once I submitted our claim we were contacted in no time. Service was set up, the super nice repairman came to our home within a day and a half. Bob quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Totally hassle-free. This is the first time we needed to use our warranty and we are extremely pleased at the professionalism and courtesy.

Each time I have used you I have had to wait unacceptable time for service. Your technicians have always been great. It is not right that each time I call I am sent overseas to speak to someone I can’t understand and reads me the same thing regardless of my question. My mental health is worth more than what I go through getting a technician. I paid upfront for 3 years. Going into my second yr and considering asking for a refund. Anxiety appears just worrying about how to get to the right person to cancel my contract. I believe you could do much better running your business.

Did not like what I was told about my repair. Only paying 335.00 towards a new stove. That's not enough for a stove. Already been 2 weeks without one and was told that I would receive a payment in the next month. Poor customer service. Probably won't stay with stay with CHW.

Ice maker frozen.. Making an assortment of loud noises, From buzzing to annoying pops. Quickly removed ice maker and repaired damage. Quickly replaced unit.. Texted back to make sure all was well. On time call. Efficient, organized gentleman repair man. Stopping by today to check on his work because I texted that there were a few odd noises.Thanks.
