Absolutely great! Called Choice Warranty Sunday night and started a claim for AC out. AC repairman came out on Monday morning and diagnosed the problem. They submitted their findings to Choice Warranty and the repair was authorized that day for the full $3000 policy limit. Repair was made 2 days later. What more can I say?

He was just as nice and professional as could be. Leaks fixed, in and out in no time. He was very knowledgeable and came prepared with all the tools and supplies needed to complete the tasks. I was afraid that I would have to do a separate claim for each leaking faucet, but they were all repaired in one visit.

We had a repair appointment for 7/7 and no one showed up. Not sure how this will go...Not very dependable for A/C repair that has taken over 1 week. I haven't heard from anyone and it's over 110. We do have several units, but a call or email would be nice.

For days I tried to contact. I contacted my bank. An investigation is underway. I had 30 days to cancel. Cancel this ASAP and credit and respond with confirmation. Your rep lied to me!!!! Promises and such abuse!!! I would never recommend. Make sure you credit the $46. A disgrace!!!! Beverly **

Service has always been quick and friendly. Great value for the service and coverage. Quick to respond and replace my leaking water tank. Technician was friendly and explained the process and quickly scheduled a time to replace my failed tank.

I appealed a claim and was contacted by Raven, I explained my review which was turned down initially, after discussing my reasons for an approval Raven and the claims team gave $100 allowance for labor cost to the servicing AC company.

My washing machine was leaking all over the floor. Could not do laundry. I had bad experiences with repair people and resolution in the past. This time I had a very positive experience. The repair person was on time, wearing a mask, polite, and extremely competent. He took apart the entire appliance and found the problem. It sounded like a rebuild or major repair from the pictures and notes. That evening I got an offer of gift cards to replace the machine. Glad to get a replacement but need it before 30 days. Will call see if I can get it sooner. Otherwise, very happy with the experience.

Water was leaking in attic HVAC Unit; mx. tech resolved the issue expeditiously, efficiently and comprehensively with a competent analysis and resolution. The suspected concerned was a leaking A-Coil or A-Coil pan. The resolution proved to be a clog in the drain line, with a recommendation to treat the pipe with a small amount of Clorox monthly.

I am pleased with the work that Ashton ** from Air Professionals, Inc., did on my Air Conditioner. First off, he was on time. He explained the work he did and why. Cleaned up after himself and was very personable. It hasn't been 24 hours so I hope all works good. I hope (IF) I need help again he will come back.

My original appointment fell through the cracks. I initiated it on the 4th of July weekend. Computers are not perfect, so I could understand it. I called Airhart Tuesday morning and the woman who I spoke with was very polite and apologetic. She was able to set up another for that day. The technician was polite and courteous. He went straight to work and fixed my leaking shower. I have no complaints at all with the work done. Choice Home Warranty saved me a lot of money compared to my previous home warranty company. I wish I had known about Choice Home Warranty several years ago. I'd have saved a lot of money.

Plumber was very experienced. He checked and verified there was no leak. He ensured that there was no leak and drip sounds were normal. He explained that the sound we hear was due to piping sitting on metal vent which enhances that sound of water dripping.

I submitted our first claim for the air conditioner and it was easy. I called and they said that they'd look for a provider or a technician near our area. Choice Warranty emailed us that the technician was gonna be from such and such company and their contact number, too. But before we even called them, the technician called us and said that he was coming. He asked about the issue and he scheduled the appointment. He came the day of the appointment. He was good. He was a no-nonsense guy. He went over there, diagnosed it and did the thing. He got it done on the first day.

My refrigerator stopped cooling. I called Choice 3 times. Was disconnected twice. The issue was that a technician was not getting to me in a timely manner. I had the same issue with the main sewer line. I put in a claim and sometimes it takes days and while I’m given the option to get my own technician, the technician has to agree to the choice warranty process. In the last year I spent $1050 out of my own pocket. Because a technician could not be located and the issue had to be resolved immediately.
With regards to today's issue the claim for the refrigerator was put in on Thursday and it won’t get resolved until Monday because choice could not locate a technician until 4pm on a Friday. I could have called Sears repair it. It would have been resolved today. The process to track down the technicians has to be improved. Or the way we are able to find are own technicians has to be streamlined to make it easier.

Had a claim in however I canceled and canceled my plan with CHW not at all happy with type of service received. Had a lot of people and one of my long time service manager tell me they were a very hard company to work for plus would not pay full amount for replacement or repair.

The job has not been done yet, but I do have a very good impression about the claim conversation. I was not kept waiting to speak to the Assistant and she was very friendly and professional and knowledgeable. Also I have received emails about the issue reported and how it will be handled.

The tech was on time, he and neatly dressed. He seemed like a knowledgeable guy. He was all business and explained my problem. He had to order a couple of parts, unfortunately, we'll have to wait for them to arrive and will need to re-schedule another appt. Hopefully the repair will be as seamless..

Choice warranty was great, they tried very hard to get me help and except for the companies they hire to work for them, they were very professional and made callbacks for me while I was on the phone. I can not blame Choice for the companies they hire but as a company, I think Choice is a great company and all the times I dealt with them I was very satisfied.

The CHW warranty is very clear and service technicians are assigned promptly. Unfortunately, with my AC unit, I will be paying over $2300 for refrigerant, labor and repairs because parts under manufacturer's warranty are not covered, line sets are not covered, labor for those repairs are not covered and refrigerant is not covered.

It was a overall good experience but had to wait 6 days to get a plumber to come look at it. Granted, it was the Fourth of July holiday weekend but still a long time to go without hot water. It would have been nice to have a the plumber come out earlier but he did fix the issue.

Very nice to deal with except for I’m old and he talked a little fast. Otherwise everything was good. I’ve already talked to my neighbor and he’s gonna call when his runs out in October and he’s also 80. I’m also gonna tell my nephew. I made a claim for my AC and they had a repair out the next day, filed a claim and it was approved same. Very satisfied with Choice Warranty promptness and the Service provider they sent out. Received email today stating the equipment is ordered, so looking forward to get my AC fixed.

Solved blockage guest bath vanity drainage by injecting the first small snake to see if that would solve the problem. It didn't. Quick trip in attic to see if AC drain pane connecting to piping was problem. It was not.

The technician and the company who came were great. It took CHW too long to get it dispatched. We were sold a VIP warranty. What a joke. Called and needed AC fixed ASAP. Temperatures were over 100. 48 hours to get someone to come. We ended up calling someone else.

The spring was broke was the reason for my garage door would not open. I had no idea what the issue was but the technician explained it to me in a manner in which I was able to understand why my garage door would not open.

This customer service rep gave me wrong information. My claim was denied even though I did exactly as I was instructed to do. The tech who came to my home, Nick with Chesterfield Air and Cooling was awesome. I spoke with David in mgmt support and he was awesome and understood my frustrations. The representative Dominique with Choice I hope finds another job or gets more training. He made this process of filing a claim a huge nightmare!

The two technicians who came to check out my A/C unit were very responsive to addressing the questions and issues my wife and I reported. They were very thorough in their investigation and provided detailed information on how to ensure that our A/C unit continues to perform as well as it can during these hot summer months. In addition, they set us up with an annual maintenance contract where they will come out to service our system on a typical schedule and can then address any issues that come up during their service visit. They were also very respectful and spoke to us like "regular" human beings. In these trying times of the pandemic, their customer service made a good, lasting impression on us.

When it rains it pours. I am so glad our family has CHW to come to the rescue. Within a week our refrigerator, garage door, and fan extractor broke. CHW saved us time by taking care of finding the perfect technicians to fix all these issues. They schedule the appointment and we received texts updating our claims. Technician was sent to inspect and determine why the A/C would shut off without notice. Capacitator on the unit was replaced. The tech was very knowledgeable and courteous. He used proper attire on feet to keep from keeping the inside of the house clean.

We've had claims to Choice Home Warranty for our air conditioning, dryer, washing machine, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. They're still working on our dryer. They had to order a part. So, we're waiting for the part to come in. Also, with our air conditioning, they found something else wrong with it. We complained about a cooling problem in one of the rooms. They said the problem is with ductwork, so we had to call somebody else to come in and do ductwork.
The claims process with Choice is good. We just go online, put in a claim, and then, usually, we're called within 24 hours. Everybody's professional. We haven't had any problems. The technicians are very respectful. They're wearing masks and they put on booties if they're gonna come in. They also explain to you what the problem is and how they're gonna solve it.

At this point I’m not sure I made the right choice in selecting Choice over the other home warranty I previous had. I heard great things about Choice. This was my first claim with Choice. The electric company ‘Davis Appliances’, was assigned my claim, they were supposed to come out on 5 July between 1 and 4: pm, however, they called around 3:30 and said they couldn’t make it. Rescheduled for 6 July between same time, however. Showed up around 5:00. Stayed for about 15 min, collected service fee $65.00 and said they would submit paper to Choice and see if they would approve a ‘house wire chase’ which could take 1 to 4 hours, gave me a receipt for the service fee and. Departed! Pray I don’t have to pay another service fee for nothing. Not the way I envisioned my home warranty plan to work. Today is 7 July 2022, no contact from Davis Appliances reps as to what my status is. It is 7:45 pm, unsat.

It appears that you do not want to pay for anything on my air conditioning system. The technician says that it’s normal wear and tear the damage done to evaporator core and you’re saying it’s pet damage or animal. Have you people lost your freaking minds.

Our air conditioner went out on July 4th. I called after turning in a repair request to follow-up on July 5th. Was told that the repairman could not be at our home until the 7th. I called Carlos and he thought they might be able to make it out on the 6th but he couldn't promise anything. I shared with him that we were totally without air conditioning and the temperatures were to be close to 100 degrees all three days. Yesterday, July 6th, Carlos called around 11AM and said he was on his way. Took care of everything within 30 minutes. Great relief.

I was a little set back by the time it took for Choice to find a technician. After two days of Choice looking I finally used the option available to me to find my own technician. On Saturday, July 2nd, I found a local company that would come out late that afternoon and make the repair needed. My claim was denied and I was referred a case manager, Aaron **. It took 3 days and several emails for us to finally connect by phone. Situation was finally resolved. (After 3 days with no fridge and lots of spoiled food.)

We believed our pool filter was leaking, but the technician discovered that it was a different part. He was very kind, courteous and very knowledgeable. He answered several other pool questions that we had which helped us first time pool owners out tremendously. We will definitely call them for any future issues.

The service was great. But service technician said that he would email me my receipt. I have yet to receive it. I need for my records. I have to provide all receipts for living estates that I am try to provide proof and documentation of repairs.

Technician provided quick and professional service on repair of my dryer. I would recommend to family and friends. He showed up on the scheduled date of the appointment, examined the dryer, determined the cause of the defect, and informed me, how he would proceed from there.

CHW responds to request for service in a very timely manner, as well as to questions I've had. This is important since service is slow in most places. But sometimes the technician that is sent is lacking. The technician sent to repair my HVAC took my service fee, told me he would have to order a part and left and I never heard from him again. Now I have to pay another service fee to get my HVAC fixed.

I enjoyed working with my sales agent; however, after speaking with him initially to get a price estimate, I received multiple calls and emails every day from different agents. It was overwhelming and aggressive, and even though I requested to be removed from the call list, I continued to receive calls from other agents until I said I would use another company if the calls continued.

My first appointment was with Lymuel's AC and Heating. On the scheduled date, I called the technician to confirm the time he would come. The given time passed and he never showed up. He never answered nor returned my numerous calls. I reported this to CHW. The technician didn’t answer nor return their calls and alert messages. I was at least expecting CHW to resolve this case for me on the same day. It is summer. It was 87F inside my house with all fans on and windows open. I called CHW the following day. They tried contacting the technician to no avail. However, CHW wanted me to be patient and wait another day or until the technician contacts them.

The technician never showed up. I called him during my scheduled time frame (7-11 am). He promised to come at 11 or might be 10 minutes late. I said I didn’t mind at all as long as he comes. Past 1 pm and no word from the technician. I called him and left a voice message. Called him again several times, but never picked up or return the call. I called CHW and reported the no show. They tried calling him, but no response either. They promised to send an alert message to him and was told that if he doesn’t show up all his assigned work would be pending. CHW never updated me on my case anymore.
Next day, CHW wanted me to wait for the technician to contact me. How in the world would that happen if they themselves cannot get a hold of him? I requested for my case to be moved to be expedited and assign a new technician. It is summer 85 inside the house. I waited for that appointment for 4 days and they want me to be patient and wait for when a new technician would contact me? If ever you would be assigned to Lymuels AC and Heating, please ask for someone else.

I have Two units of Air condition, one for upstairs and the other for downstairs. Last month my upstairs unit failed and I called Choice warranty and filed a complaint. They sent technicians and found that it was not repairable. They replaced whole inside and outside unit of course with some co payment since it was considered as an upgrade. Within one month my downstairs unit quit working and I filed another complaint. Again they sent technician and got it fixed

Well I have put several claims and only one has been great. It was DX air solutions. All other are just come in and do as little as they can but do not problem taking the 75 fee, and do nothing. Like I said DX Air Solutions is the only one that took care of my problem. I have put another claim and I haven't heard from you all. So I am not happy.

First of all the repairmen were great. But that’s where the good stuff stops. When I have to pay hundreds of dollars to your company every year and $65 on every repair. Just to have Choice to tell me that it’s covered under warranty. Just call the manufacturer. I pay you to fix my unit. So why do I pay you if you don’t fix it? Why should I renew my policy next year?

I made an appt to have my washer repaired the tech showed up and did not have the part said he wails have to order it. I informed him that I would be going on vacation and would need this matter resolved before July 2nd. He came on June 23rd. The part did not arrive until after I left. The Tech did call me and I informed him we now have to wait until August 2nd at my return. I don't have anyone who has access to my home to get this done any sooner. When I put the order in I said it was the drum, it was making a lid banging sound during the spin cycle. I don't understand why he was not prepared with the supplies to fix the problem as I stated. Had it not been the drum I could then see him saying the part must be ordered. But I specifically stated on the claim that was the issue.

The case worker for this repair said this was a pre existing problem, so it was denied! There's no way to determined when the unit failed. Three days ago this was producing cool air. I thought your company stood behind what you offer. Not very dependability!

My Georgia Plumber has great customer service and communication skills. The technician was polite and knowledgeable. Once he determined the issue with the toilet and shower, it was fixed without any issues. I would definitely like to use their services again.

Went online to make a claim for my A/C unit. Simple to do and had a technician scheduled within 15 minutes after submitting the claim. A/C was repaired by 11:00 am next morning. Temperature that day reached 105 degrees. Very happy with the process.

The technician sent out to look at dishwasher was excellent, however, I have not been satisfied with the solution that Choice Home Warranty provided. I received $246 toward a replacement of the dishwasher which means I am responsible for the majority of the cost.

When I called Choice to submit a claim, they said, "Please give us a detailed account of what the issue is about your AC." But I don't know anything about the AC. I tried to explain to them what I was told and they said, "It's not detailed enough. I cannot authorize it. I cannot look for a vendor for you." So here I am trying to explain in so many words in different ways and they said, "It's not detailed enough." I told them, "Well, then give me someone who can understand what I'm saying." So right now, I'm frustrated too. One of the customer service reps hung up on me. Then I gave up and tried to submit the claim online. I figured out how to do it and from then on, I have been submitting claims online. It's really quick and they answer really fast.
Some of the companies that Choice sends out are more reliable, professional, and honest than others. I have a beef about one specific company that is an absolute disaster. I even got to talk to other companies doing the same job and they also know about that company. They were unprofessional and dishonest people. Our AC has been done for the past two weeks. We live in Texas and it's 100 degrees every day. So it's been miserable. Choice found a vendor to "fix it" and that vendor's name is Liberty Air. They're based out of Kempner, Texas and their desk person is named Michelle.
Liberty Air came three times. The first time that they came, they checked and assessed the AC. Then they came a second time and they figured out that the AC motor was down. I said, "All right. Sounds good. Can you help us with that?" The tech said, "Yeah, sure, sure, sure." Then Michelle said, "We need to order it, expedited order, so we can get the parts to you after the 4th of July." I told her that sounded good. Then she said it was going to cost me $300. I asked her if Choice would cover some of the cost and she said, "Well, we have to pay the expedited fee. We have to order it, pay for the expedited fee. And then, after that, you just pay us $300." I was okay with that but then I wanted to try and see if I could get reimbursed by Choice if I submitted the paperwork.
I asked Michelle the name of the vendor that they were ordering the parts from and also a tracking number because, for a $300 fee, they should at least have a tracking number. She said she didn't have both information. I said, "So you're telling me here, I need to pay $300, and you can't even provide me with a tracking number and a vendor number so at least I have some paperwork that I could submit to Choice Home Warranty just in case or maybe if they can reimburse?" Then she got really hostile
This happened all yesterday on the speakerphone with my wife listening so that at least it was all transparent and in the open, and I also have witnesses. Michelle said, "So now you're threatening me?" I said, "No, I'm just saying can you just provide me with the name of the vendor, and I just need an invoice saying that the expedited fee was $300 at least just for my own records." But she refused to provide any of that. So I give the phone to my wife and she got really hostile with my wife. I said, "Well, you know what? This is not right. We have the right to at least know where the stuff is coming from and what we're paying for." $300 may be a chump change for others, but not for us. For us, that's groceries for three weeks and we can feed a family of five.
My wife told Michelle that she would report her to the Better Business Bureau. Michelle said, "My name is Michelle." I told her, "Okay, roger. We got it all recorded. We got it all on paper. Thank you." To make it worse, the contractor came before 6:00 am and dropped off the AC motor that they took away. So they left the broken AC motor in the yard. I know they were unprofessional but this was pretty petty.

It happened right before the holiday and I knew nobody would call during this time. My water heater was gone. I made the best of it. Long story short they called, came, assessed and made repairs after getting necessary parts and repaired all needed. Thanks to my technician and Choice Home Warranty service I have hot water, the only part I was unsatisfied with was the fact that I had to pay out of pocket plus my service fee. Customer service is awful, hard to get thru. Can't count how many times I have been hung up on. Don't want to go thru with claims without a hard time. I told them to cover both of my water heaters, they only covered one when I emphasized how important it was to cover both. Now, I have two that are in need of repair and I have to pay for the 2nd one out of pocket. What a sham. Should be able to trust your provider, so I will take my business elsewhere. That's just the tip of the iceberg. Talk to Discover, they have the best customer service of any company I know. Maybe they can give you guys some pointers.

When our over the oven microwave died and the technician declared it dead, we understood that Choice would replace it with a like model. When they sent the check for the replacement, it was at least $100 less than the microwave cost, never mind the installation. When I questioned it, they said they determined the cost using their own statistics, not what it costs to buy one at the store! Sounds like a scam to me. No longer a Choice customer.

My contract states repeatedly that if CHW cannot repair my appliance, then CHW will replace the appliance. This statement is false. When my dishwasher could not be repaired (parts no longer available), CHW notified me CHW would replace the dishwasher. However, the funds offered by CHW could not but ANY dishwasher, much less one with comparable sprayers and cycles. I shopped scratch and dent stores and holiday sales, and could not purchase ANY dishwasher for the funds offered by CHW. I protested the amount and that I was forced to shop at Lowe's as the replacement funds came as a Lowe's ecard, which is totally unacceptable.
My Case Manager, Yuselin **, stated CHW does not "replace" appliances (contrary to the contract) but rather provides a set 'book value' as replacement funds, regardless of the features/functions of my device. At least Ms. ** said I could get my funds as check to spend where I desired not be constrained to Lowe's. I'm still waiting on that check. I shudder to think at what will happen should an every day appliance such as my refrigerator, microwave, or AC fails and cannot be repaired.

My air conditioner went out, notified CHW and they sent a technician out to repair my unit. After inspection, he informed us that the unit needed to be replaced. He notified CHW and sent them the documentation supporting their findings. CHW did nothing to get my a/c working. The temperature was between 95 & 100 degrees. After waiting for close to a month and no action from CHW, the health of my family was more important so I had to repair the system myself. Now CHW will not honor the warranty and has informed me that they will not pay anything on my claim. CHW is a terrible company and I recommend everyone to go elsewhere for a home warranty.

I like Choice Home Warranty. I've had them for the last four years, and I just signed up for another three years. I'm retiring at the end of the year and I wasn't going to get the three-year one, but they made it workable. The vendors that have come have been very professional and helpful. I'm really happy with them. I call in to submit my claims and leave the information. Then the vendor contacts me to set up the appointment. They had to install a new garbage disposal. They worked on the ice maker in my refrigerator that was blocked by an ice cube and wasn't working. Then, they fixed the drains on my dishwasher. They also replaced the cage in my air conditioner and the handler. The coils and springs in the garage door were not covered though. Choice is way better than American Home Shield, which I had before.

I signed an agreement with you folks several years ago to cover everything I have, all appliances, all systems, etc. Now I am told by one of your employees, Jose, that my AC problems is actually the result of a problem with my ductwork. In my world ductwork is an integral part of any HVAC system but you folks apparently build loopholes into your coverage so that I now have to pay an independent contractor to correct that problem. To me that is a pretty sad coverage with a plan advertised as "Covers Everything"!

Our warranty company fired us even though we hadn't had a bad experience. I started looking around and did some research. It seemed like Choice was a good alternative and they had good reviews. They had good policies as well as deductibles. I got ahold of them somehow, went through the process, and we signed up. I took a risk that they have a good stable of providers that would actually show up. It turned out, they have.
Their people were very professional and they did what they said they would do. We made some claims and they fixed them. They did a good job. We've done a couple of pool things. One time, technicians came out for a pool problem. They said that there was the cap or that they would replace something. The cost to replace the pool pump surprised me. It cost me 75 bucks more than I should have paid but it was not a deal breaker. I also cancelled one claim the other day because our icemaker started working suddenly again. I had one complaint and they resolved that. Choice Home Warranty is an excellent value.

After I contacted CHW for a garage door problem, I quickly received an appointment with Winston Doors. They never showed up for the appointment and kept giving me new dates for their arrival. I contacted CHW again and was told that the repair would be given to a new firm. I received no confirmation from CWH on the change and after a couple of days with Winston still giving arrival dates that changed they finally showed up - 10 days after the failed garage door, and fixed the problem.

Was easy to sign up and with good coverage at a reasonable price. I haven’t had any claims yet, so I can’t review that process yet, but when I submitted info for a quote I was called within seconds. Hopefully they are that prompt with everything!

I am happy with Choice because they are very responsive when I put in a claim. They assign the service work quickly. I like that I can request a claim online. This is very convenient. We've placed several claims over the years and have been satisfied with their response.

7 days, no A/C & tech didn't show. CHW rep advised if I find my own tech then I'm on my own with expenses and it's only possible I'd be reimbursed if tech filed online docs on my behalf (which they don't have to do). Yet I pay CHW to provide my services. SMH.

Had someone come out and look at pool problem. Have not heard back regarding repair and material availability. Service person was nice and confirmed the problem... However, not sure of the repair as of this date...as they have not gotten back to me.

The technician is really good and fixed the problem with replacing the garbage disposal. The log doctor office’s response is bad. They scheduled the appointment but didn’t appear and they gave me call next day. It happened 3 times for the same and then finally appeared. They are really bad in maintaining communication and schedules.

The contractor was scheduled to come out 3 times and no-showed and when I called back CHW they just kept screwing me around. Now the guy came and said there's a crack in the unit and more than 30 years old but CHW won't replace it... So I had to call the repairman back twice. And it's still not working right.

My problem was my garage door would not close. Someone to fix it but he said that it came off the track. We paid upfront the amount of money for the plan. Now they said they don't cover it. That bull crap. A door is a door. Need to be fix. Dissatisfied with the company.

My refrigerator was deemed not to be repairable due unavailability of parts. The amount offered by CHW was fair, but it was in the form of a Lowe's gift card, which I have to wait 30 days for. Thirty days without a refrigerator?

I reported the claim and in 1 day the techs were scheduled and at my home. One for the HVAC and the other tech for our dryer. The dryer part was ordered, and the HVAC is being replaced. Experience to date is 5+.

The Ac repair tech was very through and very knowledgeable. Plus he was very professional at his job. His arrival time was exactly the time he stated he would be there. He did explain that it would be a couple more days before he would know what would happen.

Automatic garage door bracket to chain rail broke, unable to open and close properly. Did not have the luxury of waiting for Choice Home Warranty to send someone out six days later as it's a holiday weekend. Resolved problem ourselves.

I had a negative experience with Choice before when I was living in Reno. We had an air conditioning system that went out during the summer and they told me they couldn't get anyone to come to my house for two weeks. I had my 97-year-old mother living in the house and there was danger because of the heat. One of my clients was an air conditioning company and I told them my problem. They sent someone over the next morning and fixed it for $100.
I filed a dispute with Choice citing the whole situation and why I got the repair on my own because they couldn't get to me for two weeks. That came out favorably and they refunded the money that I spent getting my air conditioning fixed. That was fair. I also had another experience with them where they elected to buy me a new washer. They offered to send me $320, which did not cover the cost of a new washer and I was unhappy with that.
Now that I'm living in Texas, I decided to give Choice another shot. I had a claim recently. I called them once and they immediately had someone come out to help me. It cost me over $400 and Choice took care of the rest. I read the rule book. It was the garage door opener and I realized what was covered under the garage door opener and what was not covered. What I had to pay for was under the noncovered area so I understood that. I didn't like it though.

I don't know if CHW did a shake down and got rid of some bad service providers, but the company that was recently referred to me to fix my plumbing issue was topnotch. This is the 2nd time I had to make a claim with CHW and I must admit my first experience wasn't that great. It started out rough, but ended up great after it took 3 attempts with different providers to fix my dryer that wasn't heating. It happened at another property I had at that time and I had a stacked washer and dryer that was in a tight space in a closet where the dryer was on top, the 1st company that came out told me I had to take it down so they could fix the problem. I called CHW back and on the 2nd attempt, a construction company came out to access the problem, but they never came back or followed up with me.
On the 3rd and final attempt, they sent a guy out and he knew right away how to disassemble the dryer without taking down from the stand in the closet. He replaced the heating element and cleaned the dryer drum. I was so impressed with him that I wanted to acknowledge his good work too in this rating. So, keep up the good work CHW and continue to sift out the weeds to provide your customers with providers with genuine work ethics and I will be a client for life!

The company that Choice Home Warranty sent to repair the AC thermostat was extremely knowledgeable about AC systems. He quickly determined it was a programing of the thermostat was the problem that cause the ac to drop from 77 down to 50 degrees. Great technician.

I have been mostly pleased with my Home Warranty with CHW. The only exception is the plumbers with CBP in Texas. They do not follow through. They do not answer their phone and they cost me $1300 to buy a new water heater because they would not complete the simple repair.

Our technician came and was able to show that our AC was running well and did not need liquid Freon. We were thankful and would use him again. I do not have much to say because I can only tell what went on between the technician and his explanation. He was courtesy throughout the service.

I have been a loooong time customer of Choice Home Warranty. Within the last seven months I have had to make 3 claims on my A/C systems. The first one was because my split system had a condenser fan motor fail. Choice sent a company to help. They arrived, took the service fee, looked at the unit and said "We can not fix this unit" and left. They sent another company and they arrived, asked for another service fee, which we paid. They at least checked the system. Told us that the parts are not available and left. No repair performed. I fix the situation my self.... Really! I called Choice and asked about the situation and they said that my unit was not covered. Then jacked up my monthly fee and the service fee, then told me that the next service would be free.
Ok, then comes the next claim. One of my regular units failed. I called Choice and they promptly sent another company, who did not charge a service fee, who checked the system and said--"Blown fuse"! Replaced the fuse. Now we all know that there is a reason for a blown fuse---excessive current draw! I asked the service person, "What caused the blown fuse and don't you think you should investigate the problem?"----"If it fails again within 30 days it will cost you nothing" was the reply. Now, here we are, 4th of July weekend and the unit has failed. 108 Deg outside and I have a problem! Let's see what happens. Customer service, personal integrity, and do customer matter? I've made a claim. On the other hand, life is just flippin' dandy!

The grates of the ductwork were filthy and the intake was so bad. My husband has bad allergies and we were sneezing and coughing. It said in the policy that they covered ductwork, but it didn't specify. So, I specifically told Choice that the ducts were very bad and that I was afraid that they needed to be cleaned out, because they were just blowing black and the vent covers were black. But they sent out a guy to check on the HVAC and the air conditioning, which I already knew worked. They charged me $65 and did nothing about the ducts. In the end, we changed out the filter ourselves.
I also had a claim for my stovetop. It was heating up, but it took forever to heat up. When the guy came in, he said he knew exactly what the problem was and that there were two burners that were not working properly. But when he looked at the stovetop, he said there's a slight crack on one side and if he lifts that up, it was going to crack all the way. He told me that they don't replace this particular brand of the stovetop anymore, so I had to get a new one.
I went to Lowe's and I priced stovetops. Now, when I paid for this policy, I was confident that I wouldn't have to pay anything. So, I ordered the stovetop and paid for it from Lowe's. But Choice sent me less than half of what I had to pay for the stovetop. I asked why they weren't replacing it, just offering us a portion of it and not even half. Their rep said that if she could find a stovetop online, then that was all they'd have to pay me for and that they didn't have to give me a comparable one. Then, the oven went out, but it was an electrical issue that needed an easy fix. The tech came out and he did great on that. In fact, all three of the people that Choice sent our for my claims were very good. But because of the coverage and the service, the policy is not worth it and I would never get it again.

Extremely pleased with the customer service and the provisions he set to prioritize my request. We are planning an engagement and our pool was turning green since the filter pump was dysfunctional. Josh, from Panther City Pools made arrangements to address our needs so not to disrupt our plans. Additionally, Josh also identified valves which were not working and needed to be replaced, those I will call Choice to discuss.

My experience was as bad as it gets. I submitted my claim and it was assigned to a technician. I was given a 5-hour window. The tech missed the appointment with no communication. This happened 3 more times. 4 total appointment, 20 lost hours. Problem still unresolved. I requested a new technician. The next technician was excellent, very professional. They diagnosed the issue and relayed it to Choice who used one their many loopholes in their policy to deny any type of payment. The wording is specifically worded to avoid any real payout or compensation to the policyholder. It's a farce, go make relationships with local vendors and save your money.

He knew the system so well, he identified failed part, replaced it and solved problem in less than 30 min. Very courteous and provided additional maintenance suggestions. The appointment was during a long weekend but he kept the appointment and kept me posted on schedule.

The customer service representative was extremely helpful In creating my claim and assigning a technician. My tech that recently came out was kind, communicated well, and informative. However, in the beginning of my warranty Choice was excellent and helpful with getting my claims processed and complete. Now, my last 2 claims were denied from service that are covered but excluded. It is frustrating to have partial coverage when I’ve paid a total plan premium to only feel that I have been partially cared for. I understand now the fine reading and what to make sure I get in my next contract warranty from a potential different provider.

First trip was to stop big leak which he did, but small leak still remained. In a conversation with Choice, I was offered and I took up their offer to have the plumber return and replace a bigger part. He did the job, only here 10 min. and job is great.

Choice Home Warranty I filed a claim for my water Heater which was leaking. I have the total complete policy to cover every thing. They accepted the claim and a plumbing service contacted me to set an appointment. The plumber came out to look at the water heater and said this is 1 year old water heater. It should not look like this and after checking it out said it needs to be replaced. The plumber sent CHW the file on the water heater. CHW denied the claim, said water heaters are not covered so what am I paying for. Very poor false coverag. Not worth paying for this warranty.
