    Although their first visit to assess problem was rather quick but on time, technician stated will need to come back with part after getting Choice Warranty approval within the hour. It turned out to be 4 hours till we got a email advising of time and date of follow up visit. It was scheduled from 11-3 for 7/15/22. WAITED, and WAITED UNTIL 3:00 PM AND NO CALL - NO SHOW from Sassaman Services Technician or Office Personnel. WHOLE DAY WASTED. It's 3:54 PM now and still No call No show... CHOICE WARRANTY!!! Sassaman Services should not be part of your list of service providers.

    I called for both units to be checked. I stated main unit seemed to not be cooling as normal, 2nd unit was not cooling. The technicians from RECHAZA A/C did not speak English. Every time I spoke we had a translator on the phone. My claim for 2nd unit was denied. I spent 690.00 for repair which was not done that day. Plus the 65.00 service fee. Technician documented that my main unit was fine. My main unit is working fine. fact not fine. My electric bill was right under 700.00 for May/June. I have never had and electric bill over 400.00 in the 14 years I’ve owned this home. I have now made my 2nd claim another 65.00 service fee, waiting on parts. I guarantee another high electric bill.

    If RECHAZA would have done the job correctly the first time this would not be occurring. Their lack of attention to detail has now weakened my main unit that is only 4 years old. I expressed my concern to scheduler when it was take ing so long for repair on 2nd unit that my main was being stressed. My question is? How do I receive funds back for June/ July electric bills. Not to mention the temp in the house runs between 85-90 degrees. Little hard to get decent rest. My other half drives for Otto Trucking and he is sleeping on the floor in living room where it’s a tad cooler. I am an instructor at Brookline College in Tempe and yesterday driving home I was nodding off. All due to the lack of sleep because the house is hot. Even with fans blowing directly on us we are not resting. Thank you for asking. Looking forward to your solution and response.

    I called in on June 20th and I did not get an appointment made until July 13th for them to come out on July 14th. This was after several calls asking what was going on. The technician was great and even called choice back to see if he could fix and they denied due to it being under warranty so I now have to put claim in under the manufacturer and wait even longer to get it fixed. So I'm still without a refrigerator. I have put in claims before and no issues until this time. I was super disappointed

    I do not like the fact that Choice went up on their service call fees! It went from $60 to $85!!! I keep wondering if keeping this warranty is even still worth it. But...Terrell ** with Next Level Plumbing was wonderful! Good communication, even offered to come earlier than original appointment a couple times because he had cancelations in his schedule.     I requested a service call from Choice Home Warranty for a washing machine that was leaking. It took three(3) days before the repair man could get to my residence. After looking at it, he recommended it be replaced. I received the contact information and person to get in touch with. I was under the impression per the contract, that if the company could not repair the appliance, that it would BE REPLACED. Well, they offered me one-half of the amount of money it would take to replace the machine. I'm not sure if I misread the contract, but it clearly stated "if we cannot repair the appliance, we will replace it at no cost to you!" I don't know where you could purchase a washing machine today for less that 340 something dollars. They were good to repair it the first time 2 years ago, but not this time.

    We have had Choice Home Warranty (CHW) for quite a few years now. Recently, we started having issues with our AC. Submitting a case with CHW was pretty straightforward. Everything from there was very difficult. First, they were unable to get a contractor out to our home quick enough to check the AC. It took them 3 days to get a contractor out. The contractor came unprepared and had to leave and come back the next day. We live in Texas and the home got up to 89F. CHW didn't seem to care. They simply stated that if they are to assign another contractor, we would need to wait longer.

    On day 4, we finally had a contractor show up, later than the timeslot originally provided. The contractor proceeded to tell me that the claim would be denied by CHW under some pretext because CHW did not like to pay for AC replacement. In the meantime, I had multiple other reliable technicians come out and check the AC and they consistently told us that the entire AC unit including the evaporator had to be replaced due to the age of the unit and due to leak in the evaporator coil. As the CHW sent contractor had predicted, CHW declined the claim and did not even bother to give us a call. They are now having us go through an appeals process. This is like a court case and a never-ending process just for an AC replacement. Exactly for issues like this is why homeowners purchase home warranty.

    I was contacted today by Aaron who told me He would be my contact. I did take out a new home warranty policy. When I received the email I noticed my address was incorrect.     We were clients of theirs for at least 3-4 years and had 3 claims, 2 were for C/a and the other for plumbing. We filed a claim on all three as directed and every day after we got a run around about all service people being busy with other calls that came before ours. The first 2 claims took about a week before we saw a technician, but the last which happened right before Christmas, and did not get attended to until March of 2022. I made phone calls, sent many text and filed a report with the BBB. They asked to let them make it right but that didn't work either. The people they send out are not necessary technicians in the field you may need. For instance if you need a plumber they may send a jack of all trades but a master of none. They sent a HVAC for our plumbing. Before you sign up with this company go to BBB and read all the hundreds of bad reviews, not first to arrive.

    This company looks good but looks for a way to not pay claims. Very difficult to get payment from them. They denied our AC claim after telling us we could choose our technician and submit photos. We did that, but they said we did the repairs too fast.?? Another time they charged us two visits because we did not specify two repairs on the first request. It's all confusing and designed to benefit them, not the customer. We appealed, and our advocate called at the wrong time and talked over us.

    Called in for service 20 days ago and they sent a tech from Sears who came and looked at the refrigerator and said the compressor was bad and cut out the filter drier and took the refrigerant. Compressor was working prior to this as the refrigerator compartment was cooling but the freezer was not. Said he would get the compressor and that I would need to pay $189 dollars more.     I purchased the contract with the purchase of my new home. I later submitted a claim. four days, no response. I called, waited 35 minutes on hold, and my claim was "expedited." I received an email stating a technician would be at my house two days later between 7am-11am. At 11am on that day I contacted the technician. He told me Choice owed him $12,000 and he no longer did work for them. I called Choice, another 40 minute hold. I was told there was a mistake and they would reset my claim for someone to pick up.

    Four days later I again contacted them. Another 30 minute hold. I was told I needed to be patient or I could use their reimbursement policy. I looked at it and there were so many hoops it would be near impossible to find a technician to jump through them all. I contacted the previous technician and he confirmed it was primarily through their reimbursement system and denial of claims that led him to cease working for them even though they continued to tell people he would show up (without contacting him and hurting his reputation). I called Choice. Another 40 minute wait. Canceled. I lost $85 with a pro-rated refund and found a technician the next day in my area. This company is a scam.

    Anytime I’ve had any type of problem with Choice Home Warranty, they have done their very best to work with me to fix the issue, be it one of cost or quality of work.     The technician came out Monday, June 27th. He advised us to remove everything from the unit Wednesday, July 6th, and disconnect it from the power and open all doors and let it thaw. We did this. Friday, July 8th, a no show. I called Choice, and was advised the parts weren't in. I called a local appliance parts store, gave them the model and type of unit, and all of the parts were available.     We pay good money for this home warranty yet somehow you won't cover our AC unit in 108 degree Texas weather. The AC worked fine for the last 10 months and then recently stopped cooling. The technician found a leak and you said it's pre-exisiing.     We were Loyal customers for years. Used it very infrequently maybe 3 times over 6 years on small appliance repair. Our Ac unit began to struggle to keep the house ever to 80 degrees. Upon calling it took 2 days to get a technician out to look at it then 2 more days to get a report that stated the problem wasn't due to "normal wear and tear". Upon being given a chance to challenge this simply because it wasn't true it has been running for 12 years with no issues and wasn't damaged.

    In the meantime, I got another opinion from another AC company and they had it running within 20 mins by washing out the outside coil which had been clogged. The Tech they sent was going to rip them and ME off with an over 2000$ bill. Regardless they didn't help us at all, never called me back, never followed up. I think larger cost items needing repair or replaced you will have to fight and probably never win. 104 degrees outside. You have little choices in the matter ...POOR, POOR service.

    I would rate zero star if I can. They have worst and cheap contractors. They don't let you chose your contractor to fix anything and submit a claim for that.     I live in Texas and the temperatures have been over 100 degrees for the past 5 days while I have not had working air conditioning. These temperatures will continue for at least the next month.     I cannot give more than 2 stars since I have no idea when I will receive a call regarding my appliance service call. I’ve used several of these service programs over the years with only 3 repair calls but was billed every year! What purpose does it serve for me if you cannot find a repair person to locate one on my own when I could have done that without paying over 400?

    As I entered my information into the system to obtain a quote, I was almost immediately contacted by a representative who was willing to assist. He was helpful and I ended up signing up for coverage. The complaint I have is that I was promised "same day service" and that I could select my repair technician/company as long as they were licensed. As I was reviewing the policy, this was clearly not the case and I feel the representative used false information to get me to sign up or he was not knowledgeable on the policy limitations. I will hold on to my policy and see what happens during my first service request. I used to have American Home Shield and the technicians contracted with Home Shield were horrible. We will see if Choice Home Warranty can do better. The price with AHS is comparable; actually Choice Home Warranty is slightly better.

    Technician did a great job on finding and repairing problem. Only negative was he arrived over an hour later than I was notified. As for Choice the experience was not as good. Changes in companies to do the work, numerous changes in arrival times and a lack of communication.

    The unit had hardened salt in the bridge, when technician came out, he checked the unit, plug it in and started to run a test. He then checked for leaks, reset the unit, advised me what to add to unit before adding the salt, now hopefully it's working properly.

    He replaced garbage disposal. He ran 25' snake to try and clear blockage. Did not work as water from sink was coming up in my tub. He asked to use a camera to see about blockage. Company denied his request therefore job was not complete. I had to get additional repairman. This is first time using Choice Warranty Service. They sent an email to say they were not completing job. Would not recommend your company. Tony was great. He did call me back to follow up.
