The installation was perfect. Cal Spas recommended an electrician that did all the electrical work on the tub, which was good. It's working fine now, but it wasn't working at first. I noticed it wasn't really hot so I thought maybe it was just me. But then they said the temperature should be up to 104 but it wasn't. When winter came down, it froze. It cost us about $500 and then burst to $5000, which was a nightmare. So we didn't have it for the whole winter. We ended up getting it to work in May this year because we had to wait for all the different parts to come. And then when it came, we found out it was leaking somewhere else again.

Had it crained and the electrical done, had to be filled to check. Went to install lifters, realized the need to go under spa which is already full. Figured that out to realize lifters are too short. Put the steps next to spa and need to be 7 feet tall to get in. Ended up building my own steps? I think your sales staff should know this.

After following the instructions included to the letter my SPA will NOT work! I have left several emails and calls with no response. I can't rate my experience because I can't get an experience. Hot Tub not working, no return calls from you.

We bought our Cal Spas three years ago and my kids enjoy it, but we had problems with the ozonator and other issues in the first year and it was pretty much not even usable. I spent a lot of time working with their representative getting it fixed. It's not a very old spa but it looks like it's 10 years old - it has not worn well at all. It’s been problematic and was a mistake that we bought it. I wish I got something different as I'm not really happy about it.

The spa is good and it's very nice. However, my only problem is that the jet is broken all the time. My best friend has the same spa from Cal Spas and has the same problem.

The installation was easy but when I had my dealer call Cal for a couple of things it took a long time. It was longer than normal. I also have a couple of problems with it. There are things that I don't like about it compared to other spas. The one thing being the half circle jets on the bottom of the tub. I find there's not enough room to stand because that half sphere takes up so much room.

We have had our hot tub from Cal Spas for three years and a half and we love it. Installation went very smoothly. In addition, we had a motor that went out and we called the place that we bought it from and they came out very promptly and fixed it.

I have had my Cal Spas hot tub for 2 years. I'm feeling more relaxed and spending more time outdoors. Installation of the tub was easy and the installers were very friendly. I haven't had many issues with it.

We've had a Cal Spa for a year and a half. We did the installation ourselves. My husband absolutely adores it. The spa and customer service is good, but then we had to go back to get chemicals.

There's been a few problems right away with the product. Some jets got fixed and I just had another leak.

We would not recommend using Cal Spas. We have a cracked tub that's still cracked. They haven't fixed it and they were not helpful. When we went to other places that are more local to ask what we should do, they said, "If it was us, we would have given you a new tub by now." but because we went through sort of a friend of a friend who was a rep, which we should never do. Everything took a long time and dealing with them was not very pleasant.

There are a couple of things why I'm not thrilled with the Cal Spas product. The pad where you rest your head on is one of the big things that bother me and continues to bother me. They gave me one of the floor samples to put on. When I rest my head against them, my hair sticks to it. The pads are very sticky, rough, and wrinkled. I complained and reported it but it's out of warranty now so they won't do anything about it. I don't know what happened to them. It also makes several different kinds of noises and I'm sure that at some point in time, I'm going to have to call them to come out and check it.

At one point I had a much cheaper tub with less maintenance. With Cal Spas, they represented that there's hardly any maintenance required at all and yet the real maintenance required on it is no different than any other tub, so I felt a little bit misled when we purchased it. We also had two headrests that completely disintegrated and had to replace. It's been a year and a half since we got it and our experience with them has been okay.

My husband and I are incredibly unhappy with Cal Spas tub. It was a lot of money and I can't tell how frustrated I am with this piece. My husband concedes now that it was not the right tub to buy. It has been a problem from the very first week after it was installed. It's a top of the line so it's got lots of bells and whistles and things have gone wrong from the word go. We've had the technicians out about 10 to 12 times. Ultimately, we were told that the jets are just so strong that they blow off the piece that keeps hitting us in the face literally. The jets are a problem. That's just because this tub is so good that these things can't hold them down. We placed duct tape over so people won't touch them.

The experience with Cal Spas was great but now they moved away and in order to do the maintenance, it's hard. There's nobody else doing it. Right now, it's leaking and I can't find a leak anywhere, and I don't know what's going on with that. They're out of town a lot now and it's a bit inconvenient at this point. Before, I found them super responsive, but right now I got to wait until whenever they come to town. But outside of that, they're great.

The new tub was delivered on time and to order specs.

I’ve bought my second Cal Spa from Secard Pools. I've owned a Cal Spa before so other than the motor, which is from China, there no problems. The problem with the motor is they have about 2 to 3 years out of them. What I do is I get them rebuilt, it will last 5-6 years. Also, about the jets, sometimes those things come unscrewed and I've got one of those missing. But I've been reluctant to go back down and order one.

I'm happy with the performance of Cal Spas. However, I am disappointed with the required accessories. It only had a 1 year warranty so I didn't think their reps could do anything for me. I had to replace 2 of the 3 neck pillows because they were coming apart when it's not even two years old yet. Also, despite the use of the 303 Protectant, the spa cover is literally coming apart and I'm curious to know if there's an extended warranty for it. The spa wasn't inexpensive having dual motors, plus, I upgraded the heaters. I spent $600 to order a new cover and almost $700 for the spa maintenance despite the dealer saying that it's going to last forever.

The lights have gone out. We had to have someone out here 3 different times for various reasons. The pumps aren't working properly, water is getting cloudy extremely quickly. I test it probably twice a week.

On 10-27-15, I attempted to contact Cal Spas customer service tech assistance and was on hold for 12 min & was then disconnected. I called back and again was placed on hold for another 6 min without being acknowledged. I GAVE UP AND HUNG UP! VERY SAD.

I have used Cal Spas for a year and a half now, and I like it better better than the one I had previously. Installation was great, and we have been having a relaxing life since we had it.

It's nice to have a Cal Spas hot tub. I bought it because of their state fair deal. I've been using Cal Spas as my spa provider for three years now and their customer service has been outstanding. We had the UV light issues at the beginning and they came out and fixed it without any questions.

The good: Product delivered on time. Pumps work and heater work great. Easy order/delivery process. The not so good: Top wrong color - need the grey, not brown one please. Control panel is not what is in the manual, and I cannot find this control panel on line. Jet buttons are not programmed on the panel - aux turns on Jets 1, Jets 2 does nothing, Jets 1 turns on Jets 2. 1 week in, the control panel has moisture in it making it cloudy. The whole chemical add/balancing process is in multiple documents, with multiple explanations and could be streamlined greatly. These are all simple things. If they can get corrected, it would be an excellent rating.

The set up of the Cal Spas spa was a little sketchy. We got the wrong spa delivered the first time, we were supposed to get the dual filtration but they remedied it and gave us the right one. The second one came out with all the right colors but didn't have the second filter. They told us that it was kind of a gimmicky, sales thing we didn't really need and so, we accepted it. It was a huge spa and I wish that we had said no. We need to get what we ordered and paid for because the second filter would have made a difference. We kept getting this green stuff so we went to a different spa place to get chemicals and have the water tested, and got on the right track. The place had changed owners since we had purchased and went back to get replacement valves or chemicals.

I like the second tub that I purchased from them. It is much nicer than the one I had before. Since I started using this new hot tub it has allowed me to work longer. The guy who installed it was great.

I had a previous Cal Spa for the last 15 years. The installation was excellent. Their staff were very knowledgeable on what they were doing and it went on very well. I'm very satisfied with my experience over the years.

The delivery personnel were great to work with and very helpful with suggestions on spa use. They informed me that Cal Spas provides a Chemical Education, however with our delivery being 200 miles, it is unlikely someone would come out and provide the education.

My Cal Spas tub has been good, nice, and comfortable. I did have two issues but they weren't a big deal because the company that I bought the spa from handled it well. A month after I bought it, the pipe from the pump broke and the whole tub leaked out when I got in the tub. The gentleman came back and fixed it. He said it was a weird thing to happen and he had never seen it before. He put a knot that joins together but within a couple of months, it happened again. The knot split and the whole tub drained out. Since then, this guy made up his own heavy-duty knot and I haven't had an issue since. He got it fixed and I enjoy the spa for everything about it. It has been a very pleasant experience with Cal Spas.

I bought a house that had a Cal Spas hot tub in it seven years ago. It broke so I had to get another one from them, and they installed it well. I am happy with Cal Spas. The hot tub is good for arthritis.

We ordered a new spa from local store (Mr. Spa). When delivered, the top control panel was faulty and some of the buttons were not functioning. The main diverter valve going to bottom jets blew off when they hooked it up and turned it on for the first time because of stripped threads. It took service tech six weeks to get replacement parts from Cal Spa. While we were waiting for parts, the cabinet panels warped so bad that now they have to be replaced. $7200.00, three months old, beginning to rethink this investment.

They're very professional, their team stand behind their product and when they install, they're very prompt and have good communication - everything went very well. I highly recommend Cal Spas, they have offered another option for relaxation.

Getting a Cal Spas tub is the biggest mistake ever. It's the worst experience we've ever had. The problem is with their sales team. They kept sending out kids who knew nothing about how to fix it. We went there and told them we had an electrical problem on our hot tub. The lights kept going out and they weren't able to fix it. They left us for three months and someone finally calls us and says they finally have the parts (by this time my husband had already turned them in to the Attorney General's office) and will send people out. However, they want us to sit in a hot tub that they're going to completely redo the electrical system with kids who know nothing? They have never had any experience doing this.

Our hot tub from Cal Spa is great. I got it after I had hip replacement and I had some pain after that. It was good because it relieved the pain at night. And when my kids come home, the first thing they do is go in the hot tub. We’ve enjoyed it.

Our Cal Spas hot tub has been working for two years now. They installed it with no problems and we haven't had any issues or services done. We both have bad back, and having the tub has been great. We enjoy it very much. We also buy chemicals from Cal Spas too.

I ran across a Cal Spas coupon and took advantage of it. I purchased the hot tub three years ago and it's a good product. We use it every once in a while and I would recommend it.

My husband uses the tub regularly while I only use it once every couple of weeks. It's relaxing. It's been about two years since having it and we usually try to buy our chemicals at Cal Spas too. Their people are very helpful and know what they're talking about. Every time we've gone in there with an issue, we've walked away with resolutions as needed.

I love our hot tub. We use it probably every night before we go to bed. Cal Spas hot tub makes us more relaxed.

Installation was fast. The installers were nice and friendly. They also came right on and fixed up the controller for the radio. The tub is nice, relaxing and fun.

The first Cal Spas that we bought was absolutely fantastic. We bought a second one and it was absolutely terrible. Now we're back to a very good hot tub again and I'm very happy. The installation went very smooth. I have a bad back and the tub has been awesome. I can go in, soak for a few hours and get lots of relief. Just the enjoyment of sitting out there. It is very satisfying.

Cal Spas is good but questionable. The installation was great. It was fast and easy. Our kids use it more than we do and it's fun for them. We've had issues with the speakers that were put in and they replaced all of them. However, the price to run it didn't turn out to be true. It was a lot more than what they told us.

Our sales rep Andrew at Pelican was very knowledgeable and helpful with helping us decide to purchase the Cal 751L. The team who came out to remove our old spa was very courteous and were able to remove the spa (which was built into the deck) without any major issues. The next day the team delivered our new spa and installed it. Again the guys were very nice. When they finished they noted that 1 pillow was missing which they would send out ASAP. Andrew also had told us we would get 3 months supply of the chemicals (some were missing). These are minor points.

Worked with Jason at the Woodbury, MN store. He approached us right away, was extremely informative, helped us select the perfect hot tub and gave us an amazing deal! His delivery crew did an awesome job and went above and beyond what was expected of them! I would, and have already, recommended Cal Spas and specifically the Woodbury store, Jason and his staff!

It was a good experience, easy and no surprises. With Cal Spas life has been more relaxing.

John at All Seasons Spa in Lumberton needs to be investigated because he is a crook. He has been billing me for parts, never replaced a cover that arrived with holes, and I’ve been going back and forth with him for 2 years trying to get service on the unit. He sold it to me with an $800 upgrade which was the salt water pump that was supposed to be built-in (it arrived without one). He ordered one for $188 off the internet and never offered me the difference. I paid him cash. Sixteen grand for a Cal Spa. The spa itself works fine when it’s working. But I have not been satisfied with the rep. He should not be representing Cal Spas.

We bought a hot tub from Cal Spas in 1998 but we moved away. When we decided to move back, we bought another tub from them. The installation of the tub was really easy and it worked fine. I contacted the people from Cal Spas to get my chemicals adjusted. They came out and did some adjustments. We ended up having to flush the spa, refill it, and start all over but they reimbursed us for the chemicals. We like the hot tub and enjoy using it.

Heater had to be replaced when new to work at all. Noise buzzing sound, vibrating sounds, & pump 1 on low clunk, clunk clunk sound...

After going through a long process to deeming my requirements, we determined that a 240V tub was what I required. Your tub seemed to match all of my requirements. When the tub was delivered, it was configure for 110V. Hot Tubs Galore told me he had no way of knowing if it would be delivered as 240 or 110. I told him I ordered a 240 ready tub, and that it was his responsibility to ensure it was 240 ready. After a few discussions with me he ended up sending a tech to convert it to 240, but not after much grumbling and assertions that this was not his responsibility. This whole episode left a bad taste.

The purchase and delivery of the swim/spa went well. Diane from Valley Hot Springs was involved every step of the way. But was only delivered a few days ago, and I've got water running out of the cabinet. Also, the cabinet on the end of the pool is bowed out. Spa technicians should be here on Thursday to fix it. If that all works, I'll be happy.

We've had Cal Spas as our hot tub provider for three years. Having the product installed was pretty easy. However, I don't get a lot of time to use it right now but I'll be retiring probably soon so I'll be able to use it more.

Cal Spas has good products for the money. The product is not great, but it is not horrible as well. Everything has been working fine but the cabinet vibrates and makes a lot of noise. There are better products out there and the vendor (Aqua Vantage Pool and Spa or Wilkes Pools, they're one and the same) was absolutely horrible to deal with. It's a fly by night crap and Cal Spas should discontinue their franchise with them.

Bought hot tub 10 yrs ago and have had trouble every year. Has lifetime warranty on heater bc they break all the time. Many years we had to replace heater 2-3 times. About 4-5 yrs ago new management took over Cal Spas. Now get charged $150 every time they have to replace heater. Recently they told us lifetime warranty is no longer valid. They always say the filters are not clean therefore low flow and that's why heater doesn't work. We replace filters every 3 months, clean weekly. Then told we use it too much. A different vendor says filters don't have good draw. Now we drill holes in filters to improve draw and problems improved. Now we only replace heater one a year. Would NEVER buy one again!

I've been having a good experience with Cal Spas for almost two years. The installation of the hot tub helps me with my medical conditions and even the kids like it too.

Cal Spas were the closest hot tub dealership to where I live. I've been using them for two years and the hot tub system is working fine. It helps me relax. The installation went great. They did give me some wrong advice and the electrical is hooked up wrong so they tried to have me fix the heater. But the owner of Cal Spas came out that night and installed a new heater. So it was a good follow up from customer service even though there was a problem. It was a cold night so we already had water filled up and so if we would have left the heater overnight, it could have been worse the next day.

We went to the store and got the Cal Spas hot tub. The installation of the hot tub in our home went well. It's nice to have it.

My overall experience with Cal Spas has been fine so far, but the other jets aren’t as strong as they were on the last one that we owned. Other than that, I’d still recommend them.

We bought our first Cal Spas tub in 1990 then we recently got another one a couple of years ago. Their team took care of everything and were real good for following up with customers after the sale. To our satisfaction, there’s been no problems and good customer service. Since we had our tub it's added some relaxation.

We love the spa, and we're very happy with it. Customer service and followup on warranty issues was not good. Though they were courteous, they were pretty much unresponsive regarding the warranty issue as they divert every way they could to not take care of anything.

The Installation of our Cal Spa was good - we had no problem. The sales rep was a super nice guy. My kids use it, but I have not used it yet - it's a lot of work - but I would recommend it.

My experience with Cal Spas has been good. I bought a two-person spa, but it didn't function well. I also did have an initial problem trading that off to a larger spa. Since the salesperson didn't know what authority he had to do it, he checked with his higher ups and he did satisfy me very well and I got a larger spa. We've had it now for nearly 3 years and it has served me very well. Based on the satisfaction that they gave me, I would recommend them.

The installation process of my Cal Spas tub went very well and I’ve had very good interactions with everybody that I’ve had to talk to. The product is with me for a few years now, and it is definitely something that’s very relaxing to use.

I purchased my first hot tub from Cal Spas and I have it for three years now. I've done a little bit of research and there were obviously some problems that I read about, but so far, they seem to hold up pretty well on the winter. Having them install the hot tub and talking to the team have all been a positive experience for the most part, so I'm happy.

The installation person from Cal Spas was very good. However, after the tub was installed beautifully, many of the jets did not work so we had to call him back to adjust them. He expected a payment and I said, "No, I’m sorry. Nope." The cup holder where the water goes through to be filtered did not fit. It’s like it was for another spa. The man that delivered said, “Yeah, I agree with that. We’ll get you another one and exchange that out for another one.” But that never happened as it was not followed through. So I still have it, it’s off and doesn’t fit the flap in the surface. I like the location of the jets, the variety of the seating positions and that there are no big armrests between the spots so you could scoot over.

It has been a great experience working with Cal Spas. From the sales experience to the tremendous delivery crew. Everyone was extremely helpful and professional.

I've used my hot tub from Cal Spas for relaxation for the past 3 years. Its installation went smoothly and they've been good to deal with since then. When I needed a speaker replaced, they jumped right out, took care of it and covered it under warranty.

I had a Cal Spas when I first bought my house 5 years ago, but the present one I have has been with me for 3 years now. Installation was fine, but it came with a very cheap cover for our Canadian winters, though. The spa works all winter, minus forty, and a lot of ice forms. I have also changed the valve twice on it already. Nevertheless, Cal Spas is a great thing to have.

Cal Spas was defective when it was new. The installation went great but there were some debris in the line that was blocking the flow of water. The team had to keep working on it until they found it, which took a couple of months. But since then I haven't had any trouble with it. I have it for a year and a half now and it is a good unit.

But the controls are not what I would expect for that kind of unit, since they are more complicated and they should be more functional. The Cal Spas customer service reps take care of setting up our hot tub in the spring, cleaning it in the summer, and closing it in the winter. So they've been very good. Since installing our Cal Spas hot tub, my wife and I use it five times a week. It's the time when we actually sit down and chat at the end of the day.

I've had my Cal Spas Hot Tub for two years now. I've talked to their representatives in my area and the installation went well. Overall, it's a good spa, but I've had some problems with it. The valves are sticky and don't work very well.

I purchased a big, 8-person hot tub that’s 493 gallons from Cal Spas since they had good reviews. There were no problems during installation. It’s very good to relax in it, so it’s a great piece. I’d recommend them.

We have problems with The Cal Spa tub since its installation last year. They've changed all the internal parts of the spa. We have a shiatsu station in the spa and they changed its pump six times. Although I recommend the spa experience and love the shiatsu station, the system as well as the jet, except for the parts maybe, I don't want the warranty to be finished because this will cost me a lot of money.

We had a problem with the tub during the winter and Cal Spas repaired it last summer. After that, it was okay.

I bought a Cal Spas back in 2003 that crapped out last year, so we bought our second Cal Spas purchase from the State Fair. It's square, for six or eight people. I don't use it much. It's used mostly used by my kids and their friends. Its installation went just fine. But I had a problem with the radio, and they came out within the first year warranty and tried to fix it. They worked in and then went away so it's not fixed yet. I'm not happy about that. We have a pool too and we mostly spend our time in it in the summer, so I don't really pay much attention to call them out back. But other than that, everything worked fine.

I got the big hose busted last winter in the -3 degrees. I called Costco or Cal Spas but they said to wait until the spring, so I emptied the tub and I fixed things up. That was not fun. -3 degrees is a no. But besides that, everything was good. The Cal Spas representatives that I've talked to in Gatineau, Quebec have been really good.

The people that we worked at the Cal Spa in Woodbury had been very helpful in the upkeep and maintenance of the hot tub that we bought. The guy running the place bend over backwards to help us out and the first couple of times when we had to change the water out, they lent us the store pump. I eventually bought my own and they said that we can still use theirs. The installation of the mechanical parts also went well. We used their recommended contractor for electrical and it turns out that was more expensive than it should’ve been. I don’t necessarily blame them, but I would warn the customers to check around on pricing because the one that they recommended gave me a bloody nose. But overall, I had a good experience and I'd recommend Cal Spas to a friend.

I purchased a hot tub from Costco and Cal Spas was its distributor. Costco dropped off the tub and we installed it ourselves. The installation process was okay but the overall product is not that great. Costco is always wonderful, and I can return the tub tomorrow and it wouldn't be a problem. But Cal Spas was like, "Well, you have to contact your distributor or your representative there and yeah we can send you that part.” It’s cheap plastic part and they break down all the time and they fall apart. And then I have to pay $70 for a piece because their products are made cheap. Cal Spas don’t make a very good product, and I don’t think Costco’s carrying their products anymore.

We have been shopping around and that's how we heard about Cal Spas. I liked their sales rep. The installation was great but we had several issues with the spa in the beginning but it all seemed to be a manufacturer malfunction. We had one of the primary pumps or the secondary pump at the independent seat scrapped out and the spa pack died in it. I waited for about eight weeks to get a pump in and then finally got to the point where I had called my installer who has done an amazing job. I called him up and said if I didn't get this thing in, I was going to return the entire spa because I've had that sit in my backyard for six weeks so just take it back. I don’t want it no more. I'll go buy that from somebody else's brand. They had to pull apart their display unit that they had on the floor to be able to get ours up and running.

I purchased one of their store models one and a half years ago, and we use it during the winter every single day. It is awesome -- I do like it a lot. Everything is fine, and I would recommend Cal Spas.

Great help putting spa in on our deck. All people were extremely nice and very competent.

I've first heard of Cal Spas from the internet. Installing it is basically plug and play but for the past three years of having them, customer service has been poor. I remember the delivery guy had unwrapped the cover that came with the spa, and put it on their liftgate and their liftgate was rusty it had left a bunch of rust marks all over the inside of the cover.

Cal Spas did a good job with the installation. They showed up on time and were really nice. They've been my spa provider for two years now. I stop at the store once in a while to pick up chemicals. They send emails with specials on chemicals then ship them out. Anytime I've called with questions on maintenance they've always been extremely helpful and they knew exactly what I needed to do. At one point they had to come out here to work on something. They repaired it and I haven't had an issue with it since.

Cal Spa delivered my spa real quick. I had to figure out how to do things with it. I didn't realize I’d had to dump it every once in a while. But they explained it pretty good. It works fine, but one of these days, I'd have someone look at it to make sure it's running properly though right now it runs smooth. Just one thing, there's a bar I'm supposed to use to hold on to that is rusted all the way around and there's a crack right below where the bar is. If I picked it up from that location, it snapped the interior. It’s not that bad, but after I use it for a while it seems like you stop the rust process. Because of that, I might have come off a little hard on the person that sold it to me. He gave me a good deal, though. I keep it clean cause of the salt. I don't use all the power on it though cause it stressed out after a while. And I like that I can do exercises in it - keeps the fat off. It's a great pool (I call it a pool).

My husband is the type of person that likes to do all types of research on things and consumer reports. He really wanted the salt water one because he has psoriasis, and wanted to try the salt water system instead of chlorine. When he looked it up, he found that he particularly wanted the Cal Spas so we looked in the area to see who sells it. The initial installation was great. We had a very difficult location and the guys who came out to install it did a wonderful job trying to get it into the difficult location.

We love it! We’ve had it for two years now and we use it all the time. It’s super easy to clean.

Within the first year we had to put in five service calls. When turning the knob to adjust the speed of the water, the pressure of the water coming up would push through everything and then it became a fountain kind of thing. Based on what the guy that installed it told me it was mainly because a lot of the pipes got disconnected on its way here. So when they first installed it, it didn't work and that was one pipe that through transportation was disconnected. But unfortunately with the service that we get even if it’s new and the parts are under warranty we had to pay for service. Another thing that was an issue was one of the motors of the massage chairs blew. However this time I was lucky because I have still a month of warranty.

I've had Cal Spas for a couple of years now. I had a bathtub before which I bought online through Walmart.com and it's a day and night difference between that and Cal Spas. The one that I have now is fabulous. I just had a lot of problems in the initial part of getting it set up and the wiring done on it but once I went through all those problems, this spa has been fantastic.

Everything was great with Cal Spas except the speakers got rusted within a couple of months. When I went back to tell Cal Spas, they told me that's just how it is and there's nothing they can do. The speakers on the four corners were made for the spa so I don't know why it would get rusted and turn color and start to almost disintegrate and peel off. That has obviously put a bad taste in our mouth because there's nothing we can do to rectify it.

Cal Spas' overall reviews about the hot tubs and the pricing made me decide to go for them over other companies. And after we got it installed, it worked out great. I got it from Recreation Unlimited and I don't have any complaints about them. They've been very responsive. But my only negative comment is that it's a little confusing when you go to buy the replacement filters. I measure what was in there. Some of them were off maybe like an eighth of an inch or something in the overall length and it was in a mail they had that recommended it and they're in your owner's manual that's the recommended provider for those. But when you go out and try to find the exact same thing, it's really hard to find it. Recreation Unlimited probably carry them, but they're pretty far from where I live so I can't just run by there and get them. I like to be able to order stuff like that on the internet. I should be able to order it and just have it delivered.

I was looking into buying a hot tub. I did my circuit in the city, did some research, and came across Cal Spas. In some of the places I went to, they treated me like I didn't have the money, but the gentleman at Naborhood Pool & Spa (which is selling Cal Spas) was very good to me. The work that they did was immense. It was longer than I anticipated for it to come in but the set-up was great. Another thing that was good was the warranty work.

I bought a spa from Cal Spas two years ago. The only problems I’ve had with the spa are the jets and one of the valves coming apart. I had a leak for a long time. I couldn’t get anybody out here to fix it so finally I took the panels apart myself and figured out what it was and ordered the part. They gave me the part and now three of the spinner jets have come apart and I need to order new jet. So it’s falling apart after two years. It looks like the valves only last about a year. And the same thing with the spinner jets, start up on the metal pieces in the bottom of the spa about a year ago and figured out that one of the jets had come apart. Since then two or three more have come apart.

My husband used to sell spas and that's how he knew about Cal Spas. The installation was okay but there were a few defects on the spa and scratches on the finishing when we got it. So we called the store and they came to fix the defects and the finishing. Now the finishing scratches don't show anymore. Aside from that however, one of the jets broke too. We fixed it ourselves with some glue so that was okay, but there's another one that's already broken.

Cal Spas is great. I went to the store and they said that it was the best there was on the market so I bought it. Everything was on time during the installation phase. I know the company that did the installment, I have them all the time for these things, so they're pretty good.

Cal Spas misled me into believing that there was a five year warranty for my tub but after I went to the dealer, they told me it was only three years. The five year warranty for parts and labor was one of the selling features of it, although they were really good since I haven’t had any problems with the tub other than the stereo as of now. I’m a little bit of concerned in this aspect. What is the company going to do about this?

To be honest, I prefer our previous spa than the one we had from Cal Spas. The installation was fine but the product is not what we thought it would be. The radio system broke after a few months and there were some pieces that are falling apart. I'm not satisfied with it. It's just that we needed a bigger one with more water pressure.

It's been two years since I had my hot tub from Cal Spas and I'm very happy with it, we had a good service from them. The only thing is the speaker - we have some brown thing because of the water. But other than that, I'm okay with Cal Spas.

Cal Spas' people are very professional. We've never had any issues when it came to any type of repairs. And whether it was for this spa or the previous model that we had, they're extremely fast and never questioned anything - they just send people over immediately. I'd recommend Cal Spas for sure.

I had Cal Spas for several years with two different product set and they both met my expectations from an experience perspective. When I went to purchase my first pool, the sales guy also was providing for spas and he recommended Cal Spas as a great model so I bought one. My experience has been good with the product itself but it's been a little bit flaky with the installation. There's been some challenges and they had to replace some pipes once or twice already though I wouldn't blame it on them.

Cal Spas treated me adequately. I went with them because it was just convenient. Installation went fine. Also, one time, we had to do some repairs and their representatives were satisfactory.

Cal Spas was really wonderful. It was good service and they did a nice job. When I bought the spa and had questions, they came right over and checked out everything to make sure everything looked good. They're always there when I need them and now, I'm still enjoying my spa.

Cal Spas gave me a fine experience. I thought the sales portion was good, and so were the people that came and dropped the product off. They could have been more informative about using chemicals to maintain it, but overall, I recommend Cal Spas.

I like my Cal Spa. I first heard about them from a dealer and I have been using them as my spa and hot tub provider for a year. I chose them over other hot tub manufacturers because of the hot tub's features and the way it looked. The color was really cool, we got a blue one. Good warranty and easy to use. The company that installed it was the dealer that sold it and it was great. It was a one year old floor model which was their demo. Unfortunately due to shipping or the crane that had to lift it, one of the jets on the bottom got ruptured or broken in just a crack. It was two service calls to find out where it was but they handled it all. I never had to pay a thing other than I didn't have my hot tub for a week. But other than that, it turned out great. I'm more relaxed since the installation of my Cal Spa.

I love the hot tub I got from Cal Spas. I like the way it looked. It seemed to be put together better than some of the other ones. Installation was great, too. We enjoy it. The only bad experience I had was that when I went back to the store to buy more chemicals, they were closing out. They went out of business four weeks after I bought the tub. If I had known that, I wouldn't have bought it there.

I have nothing but problems with Cal Spas so I wouldn't recommend them. I had it for a couple of months and a couple of knobs on the top came off, and then I had two heaters replaced and the main pack replaced twice. Some of the lights in the tub didn't light up too. Whenever I try to get stuff ordered, it took months to get the products or people out. For about four or five months I was waiting on parts if there was backorders. When the parts came, the technicians that worked didn't know what they were doing, so the thing has been just on and off the whole time. I have it in a covered area and even the cover is starting to rip off. I asked them if that was under warranty, and they said no. It's only two years old.

I chose Cal Spas because of the UV light feature and because I knew the owner. I've got the Diamond Series 890. I have the massage chair, plus the upgraded exterior finish is really nice. It's a good product and I have used it for four years now. It also provides more activities since we use it for a swimming pool for the kids in the summer. It's also more enjoyable to use at night than any other time.

I've had Cal Spas hot tub for over a year now and it's better than my previous tub. I went with them because of the trade-in package that they offered. The people at the store were very easy going and personable. They came out and did a little demo on what I needed to do and on how to run, maintain and take care of it. They also gave me a complimentary item and that was really nice. The installation part was easy, too. It was in the middle of winter here in Minnesota so they needed to blow the snow out of the way, bring the old tub down, hook up the other one, and then they were done.

My overall experience with Cal Spas was excellent. I ended up purchasing an 8x8, which was of excellent quality. I needed some extra service and got fantastic service from the team that installed the tub. I used it this morning and it was fantastic. I would recommend them to a friend for the service they provide, on all levels.

Cal Spas team was very professional. I went and bought a handrail from them this year and we needed somebody to come in and put it in because you have to lift the hot tub up. It wasn't easy lifting it up ourselves and it's a nice addition to have towards getting people in and out of it safely. They have a new spa owners' Saturday morning rundown with all the maintenance requirements. I did that last year and I thought that was very helpful.

We bought Cal Spas' hot tub to replace the old one that was 13 years ago and started leaking. The price was good. We had the exact same model as the one we replaced. But with the new one they took away the middle area that was a foot stool in the middle. It's also not comfortable to sit in because it doesn't have the grips and the places to put your feet or your hands to hang onto so you don't slow it up, where the old one had. And I'm finding that the head, the jets, are coming off where I never had that problem of those jets for the backs before. Now I've had three of them literally come off on my hand. And also the head sets, the headrests, are coming off and I have to re-snap them back on. It looks like the quality of the product has decreased in the past years.

I've had my Cal Spas tub for just over a year. For the most part, my interactions with their team have been good. They're knowledgeable, friendly, and answered all my questions. It was good having the hot tub installed. I have the opportunity to have more rest and relaxation.

I think it's more of the local dealer than the brand itself that sold me on it cause I know with hot tubs they will break. But once I got the product, I was happy with it. I was willing to spend a lot on a hot tub, and I'm glad I did with Cal Spas. I have recommended them.

Our 8-person jacuzzi is my second purchase with Cal Spas. Everything went smoothly with the delivery and set-up. They've offered many classes but I've just not taken them up because I've had the product before. Since the installation, it's been a huge benefit.

The installation was excellent. The Cal Spas people who did the delivery were the kindest gentlemen I have seen in my life. They did whatever was needed to get things done to get it here. My salesman followed up with me and wanted to know how things went, so I'm very happy. I went ahead and purchased another package of their chemicals from them. The experience was very good. I have rheumatoid arthritis so I haven't been able to get into my sunken bathtub for 6 years so I just sit in the shower. The three-seater I purchased has changed my life immensely. I am strongly recommending Cal Spas!

Cal Spas is underwhelming. It's been broken a lot and in fact, I had a guy to look at it yesterday because it was leaking. I've had multiple broken parts that have had to be replaced and I was out of service for about four or five times last year. On the contrary, the hot tub I had before never required any servicing for the ten years I had it.

We were looking at the swim spa that was advertised on TV but then our contractor suggested Cal Spas. They were very professional and capable and did a very good job. We had some concerns with the filters in the first year but we couldn't get a hold of the dealer and I wanted to talk to somebody so I went straight to Cal Spas in California to speak with them. They were very helpful. It's a wonderful investment overall. It's a beautiful piece of equipment and we're very pleased with it. If anybody had to buy a swim spa, this would be what we'd recommend for sure.

A friend referred me to Cal Spas. I’ve gone over their house and used their tub a few times and we always liked it. We had to get one of our own and ended up purchasing the Patio Spa last 2013. The product had no issues. Delivery crew was great. They answered all our questions and install went smoothly. We didn’t have it sunk in a deck so we were able to put it on the patio which is easy access and it went pretty good, then we got to have our training session with the dealer after the install was complete. It's a great way to get the family and friends together. Everyone loves sitting in the hot tub. We always have family and friends over and barbecue outside a lot more often because of it. We're very happy we bought the Cal Spa. Overall a great experience, helpful, friendly staff, and the local dealer.

The installation process was very good but when I first started the machine up it wasn’t turning on. I was a little bit concerned that it would freeze overnight because we were supposed to get down to below zero here that evening so I called Cal Spas and they put me in contact with a service technician. He walked me through some things on the phone and everything turned out just fine.

Cal Spas was a big mistake, we've had a lot of issues with them. When I got on the internet, I read somebody's pissed review. I wish I had done that before we bought one. ** of Longview is a very dishonest man, this is all his doing. If there was something messed up on it, ** came out, sent his guys out and told me it would cost me $90 and that when they come back out to put the part in, it wouldn't cost me anything. They did come out but charged me $300 instead. He didn't want to honor the warranty, I had called you guys and I reported him to you all twice. Also, the control panel had to be replaced twice. They had to come out and take the thing off to get inside of it and fix it, but they didn't put the panels back on right. We've had them out here three different times to fix something.

I have used Cal Spas as my spa and hot tub provider for two years now and they’re pretty quick to act if we needed anything. Last February we purchased a hot tub from them and we experienced no problems during installation. It went in as scheduled. So far we enjoy having our new hot tub from Cal Spas as it helps ease out soreness and it's better than what we had from a different manufacturer.

Cal Spas is a higher class hot tub manufacturer than others that we've seen. Installation team were pretty efficient at getting their job done. They were here and up and gone, and we're content with what they did. People stand behind their product and we've had good service rapport with their representatives. They do well answering our questions when we stopped down at their shop.

Cal Spas has been around for years. We've had our spa from them for three years now and we enjoy it for leisure time.

Our experience with Cal Spas was very poor. They were recommended to us by Dynasty Spas from whom we purchased our Neptune Trident several years ago. We had perhaps seven visits from them and our tub is still not working - $2200 later - that's without a huge water bill for emptying/refilling the tub several times and for what we are going to have to pay someone competent to fix it. Yes they fixed a broken pump. But they failed to spot obvious leaks on multiple occasions and the last time in putting the back panel on roughly they sheared off one of the pipes to the jets. And blamed us for it - as if after all we went through we'd want to damage our own tub. The itemized bill we finally received from them - after they debited our credit card (they wouldn't start work in the beginning without those details) and after much chasing from us - was a joke, including $250 to tip the tub onto its side (maybe five minutes effort for two guys). DO NOT USE THEM.

My experience with Cal Spas has been satisfactory but I believe they could improve in their choice of installers. The company is the service provider for the hot tub that's manufactured by Coleman which I purchased three years ago. I use the hot tub twice a day and it worked as planned on my sore back. It's just that my local installer was not good as he kept delaying installation and making excuses for that. He says that it was shipping from California when it wasn't. He kept telling a whole myriad of lies and deceit. On the other hand, the service company that they contract within my area is excellent. And although they are a bit slow on getting parts out but overall, their parts department is also okay.

We required hot tub service upon finding an error message on our circuit board and a subsequent leaky pipe, we called Cal Spas on a Saturday and spoke to ** . He advised there would be a $95.00 service fee for a technician to attend and $95/hr. charge thereafter for resultant work. The awesome tech attended, diagnosed the problem and advised he would be back on the following Monday with the replacement part required as he did not have it on hand.

March 2015 I had another repair appointment from Cal Spa in Pomona Ca for their faulty spa that was put in summer of 2014. Underwater light shorted out within a couple weeks of install, and motor failed. In first part of march 2015 Cal Spa sent a trainee by himself to fix spa that keeps turning off when you run the bubbles. The trainee replaced part of a motor and checked out the flickering underwater light. He also set the heat for standard heating. It took over 3 days to get heat up to 90 degrees. I was going into spa, and first stuck my hand in and got a shock, and lost my balance and fell on my tail bone.

I couldn't give them less than one star. Like many others on this site, I bought a Cal Spa based on the "quality, service, and warranty". The local dealership stopped carrying them (after reading all of the reviews I can see why). I called the company to get a new heater (lifetime warranty). I was told my spa wasn't registered. I would have to prove I was the original owner by providing the original sales receipt from 10 years ago (I finally found it). The heater is now out of stock. I have been without the spa for months, but it's a great breeding ground for mosquitoes! I have made countless calls and spoken with every person who answers the phone on any given day while wasting away my lunch hours. I'll give them this - they are polite while they are telling me that there is nothing they can do for me.

My spa was sold as fully insulated. I would estimate it is 60% due to poor workmanship. Additionally the wood frame is seriously warped. Nevertheless, everything works except the ordinate. It is 10 YEARS OLD AND HAS NOT BEEN WELL TREATED. It has 2 small leaks and the skimmer door won't stay in place.
